Youtube daily report Nov 4 2017

David Kramer, a former State Department official and aide to Sen. John McCain, has reportedly

been dodging a deposition subpoena issued in a case involving the debunked Trump dossier

that rocked Washington, D.C. earlier this year.

Published in January by BuzzFeed, the dossier contained a slew of allegations regarding

President Donald Trump that have for the most part been debunked — despite what some harebrained

leftists say.

Also included in the dossier was a claim that a Russian businessman by the name of Aleksej

Gubarev had played a significant role in the Russian government's hack of the Democrat

National Committee, according to CNN.

Following the dossier's publication in January, Gubarev filed a lawsuit against both BuzzFeed

and its senior editor, Ben Smith, disputing the allegations and demanding they reveal

their sources.

As part of that lawsuit, Gubarev has subpoenaed a variety of additional individuals and organizations,

including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Yahoo News, CNN and, apparently,

David Kramer.

But according to a brief filed in federal court this week, Kramer "has been seemingly

avoiding service" of the deposition subpoena for weeks, as reported by The Daily Caller.

Considering Kramer's boss, I'm not remotely surprised.

Flash back to January, when BuzzFeed published the dossier.

Around that time the Arizona Daily Star ran a report revealing that McCain had a connection

to the document.

After hearing about the dossier in November of last year, he allegedly sent an emissary

to seek out the dossier's source.

"The emissary flew back within 24 hours and showed McCain the documents, saying it

was hard to impossible to verify them without a proper investigation," the Star reported.

"McCain said he was reluctant to get involved, lest it be perceived as payback for insulting

remarks Trump had made about him during his rambunctious campaign."

That emissary was Kramer, and within days of Kramer's return in December, McCain submitted

a copy of the dossier to the FBI.

Less than a month later the dossier appeared in full at BuzzFeed.

Some have even claimed BuzzFeed had obtained the dossier from McCain, though he continues

to deny this allegation.

According to The Daily Caller, Kramer isn't alone in his refusal to comply with Gubarev's

deposition.

The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times have been equally uncooperative, promising

to "fight deposition subpoenas" on the grounds that their status as news organizations

protects them from having to discuss this issue.

BuzzFeed has posited the same argument, though hilariously enough, Gubarev has reportedly

tried to reject it on the grounds BuzzFeed isn't a real news organization.

To be quite fair, I really can't disagree with that argument.

Please share this story on Facebook and Twitter and let us know what you think about McCain's

aide refusing to comply with court orders.

the back there we go hey there's there's a drag break and

we're NATO a sharknado I call him or Nana he's warning up buddy shot NATO

blue and he is part of the lunar force so there you go he's got the thing in

the front for the crash combiner and his tires and he rotates rotates me I don't

know what I was trying to say he he spins his tires Joe we're making all

weird just like Optimus Prime looks and also

we have strongarm now strong arm is a police but let me transform him back her

back there you go and she's a little different there she

is this old boy he's not like the other strongarm

who is blue and white like this but anyway let's transform these guys I

oh no not like that oh no I almost did it wrong well he's

got some serious articulation there we go

and that goes up and we pull this out and we pull Optimus Prime's head if it's

just there he goes and it's very simple hello I'm after mr. Han I am very stiff

ain't no stiffest robot in the world

kick myself in the head gee boom-boom stop doing that I'm his prime but I want

to kick myself in the head of the boom but that is how he transforms as you are

the way he looks there you go take it all in because if

and then yeah but you come together and go that's the noise they should make and

then they transform into who's strong prime R prime strong now whatever is

named it you know who it is is that this prime and strong arm so prime strong oh

boy this is a fun review so far on the lunar force transformer robots in the

sky

why she keeps doing that do anything about these dudes and I'm compare here

let me go ahead and crash combine these two guys right here their arms come up

like that and transform and legs come out mmm there is prime strong and lunar

force prime strong as you can tell there's a little bit of a difference

between the two you've got lunar forces blue and prime

strong over here which is not lunar force is red like your normal Optimus

Prime colors even though these are robots in disguise and they make these

four crash combiners which is an engineering feat on its own I do not

it's like so hard to do this they still look a little odd but hey that's what

you get when you start combining toys together and especially really quick

one-step transformers like the crash combiner Wars toys huh

hey I'm Princeton I'm Brad strong there can only be one where's my sword I have

to cut off his head fuck okay now these are cool I like them if you like robots

in disguise transformers Robots in Disguise you definitely gotta add this

one of the crash combiners that is available to date of this video you're

probably not gonna be able to see them all let's see I'm gonna try this there's

what happened to be swipe or a bumble swipe that's fix him oh gosh stop

well these things I do have ports that snap off really easily and gonna be

stamped back in that's the one saving grace of this toy series is bad there we

go sky sky hammer right here let's see if we can get all of these guys in the

shot yeah all right all of the crash combiners together on toy time TV isn't

Battle of Edgehill 1642 Explained (The English Civil War) - Duration: 10:41.

It's autumn, 1642.

In a bid to win a quick victory against Parliamentarian rebels,

King Charles of England has raised a large army

and marches on London .

As his troops pass the village of Kineton, late on October 22nd,

an even larger parliamentarian force catches up to them.

Despite this, he feels confident, and the King forms his men up on top of the Edgehill Ridge and prepares to give battle

After months of preparation the king and his Parliament now prepare to face off in open battle

the English Civil War has begun

The events that led the King and Parliament to wage civil war against each other began years earlier

An ill thought-out attempt by the King to force the Scottish church to be more like the English one led to rebellion and humiliation.

In 1640 Scottish troops marched into England and occupied much of Northumberland and County Durham in a deeply embarrassing defeat

for the King

Almost bankrupt Charles was forced to call Parliament for the first time in over a decade to plead for money

Seizing on the Kings weakness a group of hardline MPs moved to severely curtail the Crown's power and enhance Parliament's role in government

Over a year of arguments between the King and Parliament followed until in January 1642 Charles decided that he'd had enough

Storming into the Commons chamber with 300 armed men

He attempted to arrest five leading parliamentarians

But found them conveniently absent. To his fury the speaker then refused to reveal their location

Asserting that he was a servant of parliament and not the king

This attempted coup by the king provoked mass public unrest in London and led to Charles fleeing the capital,

fracturing the nation's government geographically. Setting up his court at York Charles moved to consolidate a power base

That could act in opposition to Parliament even as he continued to work with them on some issues

Attempts to broker a compromise between the King and Parliament on the key issues

persisted through the first half of

1642 but the Kings rejection of Parliament's 19 propositions in June made a violent solution to the crisis

inevitable

Both sides began to mobilize supporters across the country attempting to seize valuable military resources for their side

Most important were three huge arms depots at Hull London and the naval base of Portsmouth

Hull and London were held securely by parliamentarian garrisons.

so it was significant when in early August Portsmouth declared for Royalists

Parliament wasted little time in dispatching an army to lay siege to the city

Determined to keep as many arms as possible out of Royalist hands

elsewhere in the country an embryonic civil war was beginning to take shape.

In Somerset a Royalist force was besieged in Sherborne through August, but managed to repel a disorganized

Parliamentarian army while in Warwickshire it was the Royalists who proved ineffective

They attempted a siege of Warwick before retreating north and stumbling into a large parliamentarian force near the village of Southam

Meanwhile by mid August the King had moved to Nottingham attempting to gather more supporters as he went on August the 11th

He raised his royal standard in an effective declaration of war on Parliament. Though an important moment

It did not result in an immediate march on London

Not least because the king was badly lagging behind Parliament in terms of both men and supplies

The Royalists problems were compounded when on September the 7th Portsmouth fell to its besiegers

delivering even more weaponry to the parliamentarian side

Desperate to secure more support Charles left Nottingham on September the 13th and headed for Shrewsbury in the Severn Valley

six days later the

parliamentarian main force with the Earl of Essex again in command marched for Worcester

Aiming to keep in touch with the Kings movements

As Essex's army approached their destination

he pushed a vanguard of cavalry ahead of his main force to secure the town as quickly as possible

As they rushed to cross the river teme at Powick Bridge, they found a Royalist force led by Prince Rupert of the Rhine

positioned on the opposite bank.

In a brief battle that superior Royalist cavalry were easily able to throw the enemy back across the river in a morale-boosting

victory for the Cavaliers

despite this success though

Prince Rupert knew he could not hold Worcester against Essex his main force so quickly fell back to Tewkesbury

Both sides now hesitated, as the parliamentarian had licked their wounds and the Royalists considered the hilly terrain around Worcester

unsuitable for their powerful cavalry forces

eventually in mid-october the King decided to attempt to bait Essex into engaging him on more favourable ground and

began to march directly for London

He stole three days march on the Parliamentarians and before they could leave Worcester the Kings troops were already at Meriden Heath in Oxfordshire

Playing catch-up, Essex gambled. Guessing correctly that the king would now advance toward Oxford through the town of Banbury

Late on October the 22nd the Parliamentarians finally caught up to the Royalists

Viewing the terrain between the two armies to be favorable to cavalry charges Charles opted to give battle the following day

Of the two armies the parliamentarians had more men

with 15,000 troops compared to about

14,000 for the Royalists

To compound this Essex could call on thousands of other troops

Which were rushing to reinforce him while the royalist army was the sum total of its troops in the area.

This meant that the parliamentarians were happy to wait through the morning, and put the impetus on the Royalists to make the first move

In the early afternoon the Royalists moved off the ridge and came down onto the flat plain below

they began to take up positions about a mile south-east of the Parliamentarians, near to the village of Radway.

As for the parliamentarians themselves, they awaited the Royalists advance atop a small Ridge in the centre of the plain

Having advanced some way past the village of Kineton where most of their supplies now were

Aware of the superiority the royalist cavalry

Essex ordered groups of musket-men out onto the flanks to try and reduce the effectiveness of the royalist cavalry

The vast majority of the cavalry itself for the parliamentarians was massed on the left flank to counter the stronger Royalist right

under the command of Prince Rupert

All told the length of the two battle lines was about two miles

After a relatively ineffective artillery exchange between the two sides the Royalists made the first moves

Dispatching dragoons to clear out the parliamentarian musket men from the hedges and ditches they had taken earlier that day

after a relatively short period of time

The Royalists managed to dislodge their enemies enough to allow a proper cavalry charge and on both flanks the Royalists forward line of cavalry now

charged for their opposite numbers

Foolishly the parliamentarian left under Sir James Ramsay chose to remain stationary rather than counter charge

and Prince Rupert's men tore through their ranks

As at Powick Bridge, the Royalists cavalry was superior and this soon told, on both flanks the main body of the

Parliamentarian horse was quickly put to flight making a disorganised retreat towards Kineton pursued by almost all the royalist cavalry

To the Kings frustration even the cavalry reserves under Sir John Byron thinking the battle was all but won

Jubilantly charged after the fleeing parliamentarians

Basically removing themselves from the field of battle

Despite this the situation still looked rosy for the Kings troops

some detachments of cavalry did turn and smash into the nearest brigade of

Parliamentarian infantry and after seeing their protective cavalry turn and run this brigade under Charles Essex began to do likewise

Panic spread through the ranks and the entire parliamentarian left began to crumble

Had Prince Rupert's men being present to exploit this a decisive royalist victory could have been achieved as

It was most of the Royalist cavalry was now looting the parliamentarian baggage-train

Allowing their enemies to rush their reserve brigade forward to fill the gaps and galvanize their comrades

Fierce melee combat was now breaking out across the battlefield as the main forces engaged

The Royalists likely had more men in the fight at this stage

But crucially they didn't have any real cavalry support present on the battlefield

Despite their mauling the parliamentarians did have a small group under Sir William, Balfour left, and they used them to devastating effect

Repeated charges against the royalist lines pushed them back and units on the Royalist left began to break.

Seeing a gap in the lines Balfour's men charged through mounting to get behind the royalist army and raid their artillery

before being forced to retreat

By this stage over three hours of combat had passed and the Sun was beginning to set

No clear winner had emerged, though it was the king's army now on the backfoot

Slowly the Royalists disengaged and pulled back onto the slope of Edgehill

Returning royalist cavalry strengthened their position and made attacks by their opponents almost impossible. As darkness fell both armies

struggled to reorganize themselves

Through the night the parliamentarians were reinforced by dawn, but clearly the stronger of the two army

However the Royalists have now resumed their position on top of the Edgehill Ridge and Essex decided that that attack would be foolish

Both sides attempted to claim victory at Edgehill though in truth. It was inconclusive

Neither side managed to deliver the killing blow

Had either side been a was a decisive defeat the other

It's very possible that the civil war might have ended before it had really begun

That's what makes Edgehill important. It's inconclusive nature meant that the Civil War would drag on for four long years

affecting the lives of every person in Britain

far from settling things

Edgehill was just the beginning.

Sen. Carper: We Need to Stabilize the Obamacare Exchanges - Duration: 3:17.

SOLEDAD: IOWA IS NOT ALONE IN

ASKING CONGRESS TO FIX THE

AFFORDABLE CARE ACT.

THERE IS A BILL, THE BIPARTISAN

HEALTH CARE STABILIZATION ACT,

THAT SENATE HEALTH COMMITTEE

CHAIR LAMAR ALEXANDER, A

REPUBLICAN, AND RANKING MEMBER

PATTY MURRAY, A DEMOCRAT,

SAY THEY HAVE ENOUGH VOTES TO

PASS -- A BILL THAT WILL SHORE

UP THE EXCHANGES.

SO WHAT'S HOLDING THAT UP?

FORMER DELAWARE GOVERNOR TOM

CARPER IS THE STATE'S SENIOR

SENATOR.

NICE TO HAVE YOU BACK.

SE

THANK YOU.

SOLEDAD: SO, THERE

NUMBERS OF REPUBLICANS AND

DEMOCRATS WHO SUPPORT THIS BILL,

AND MITCH MCCONNELL HAS SAID HE

IS NOT GOING TO BRING THE BILL

TO THE FLOOR FOR THE VOTE UNLE

HE GETS A GUARANTEE IN ADVANCE

THAT THE PRESIDENT WOULD SIGN

IT, WHICH -- I'M NOT A FORMER

GOVERNOR NOW A SENATOR, BU

IT SOUNDS KIND OF BACKWARDS TO

ME.

SEN. CARPER: I THINK LAMAR

ALEXANDER AND PATTY HAVE DONE A

GREAT JOB PUTTING TOGETHER A

VERY THOUGHTFUL COMPROMISE HERE.

MY HOPE IS THAT THE MAJORITY

LEADER, MITCH MCCONNELL, WILL

SAY, "HEY, WE GOT TO REWARD

THESE LEGISLATORS WHO ARE DOING

WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT US TO DO,

WORK TOGETHER, COME UP WITH GOOD

IDEAS."

AND HOPEFULLY THE PRESIDENT WILL

SAY, IN HIS WISDOM, "THIS IS A

THOUGHTFUL PACKAGE -- LET'S DO

THAT."

ONE OF THE BEAUTIES T

LAMAR AND PATTY DID IS THAT THEY

SCHEDULED, RIGHT AFTER THE

BIPARTISAN HEARINGS --

SUCCESSIVE, FOUR IN TWO WEEKS.

THEY HAD GOVERNORS, WE HAD

INSURANCE COMMISSIONERS LIKE THE

HAD HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS,

HEALTH INSURANCE.

I MEAN, IT WAS GREAT.

EVERY DAY BEFORE THEY HAD

THE HEALTH COMMITTEE AT 10:00

AT 8:30, THOSE OF US WHO WERE

NOT ON THE COMMITTEE HAD THE

I WENT TO ALL OF THEM, AND I'M

I WENT TO ALL OF THEM.

I LEARNED A LOT, AND ONE OF THE

CONFIDENCE BUILDER FOR DEMOCRATS

Why Can't We Find the Theory of Everything? Einstein, and Rogue Genius | Eric Weinstein - Duration: 10:25.

In some ways we've been making amazing progress for 40 years—in my opinion—in the mathematics

of field theory, which is the underlying geometric structure that undergirds both particle theory

and general relativity.

So this has been an incredibly exciting time because this dictionary has opened up which

ports all of the best insights from physics into differential geometry and from differential

geometry back into physics.

So you'd be hard-pressed to say that nothing is happening.

The problem is that we really wanted to quantize the geometry of general relativity but, in

fact, what we ended up doing was geometrizing the quantum.

And so it's been a bit of a disappointment for theoretical physicists who hoped that

they would be living through a golden age of theoretical physics rather than the mathematics

of theoretical physics.

So the field of particle theory has in some ways seemed to be advancing in terms of its

mathematical underpinnings.

But the elaborations on the standard model which is our specific understanding of the

world in which we live has been all but stalled from the theory side since around 1973-1974.

So it's a bit of a paradoxical situation and I think that, in part, we've never really

been here before.

There was a period between about 1928 until the late 40s when theoretical physics had

found quantum electrodynamics, the theory of electrons and photons, where most of the

calculations we wanted to do gave infinite answers.

The underlying theory seems sound.

We just didn't know how to get real contact with experiment.

And it took a long time for us to realize that we had a technical problem rather than

a need for an absolutely fundamental revolution of the kind that brought us general relativity

and quantum theory.

So I think that we're a bit stuck and we don't really know how long this very strange

period is going to go on for, and this period has been dominated by the sort of quixotic

hopes that one of a number of theories—whether it be super-symmetry theory, grand unified

theory, technicolor or even noncommunicative geometry—might be our way out.

But the problem is that all of these highly speculative theories have remained in limbo

and many of them have gotten rolled into this very strange complex of ideas that we call

either string theory or M theory or some variant thereof.

And it is a question as to whether this is more of a physics-inspired theory or whether

it's really an economic and sociological phenomenon, which is that you have a generation

that physicists in the baby boom who seem to be absolutely astounding geometers but

appear to be wanting in terms of their ability to make contact with the natural world by

the standards of previous generations.

And naturally that's going to elicit some very strong feelings, because the idea that

we would have had perhaps two generations let's say in 40 years of physicists who

can't make contact with experimental reality with their theories is completely unprecedented

in the modern era.

This is very interesting and rather disturbing.

So I was quite inspired by a talk or two that I've seen of the distinguished physicist

Nima Arkani-Hamed where in essence he points out that the three main equations that give

us all of theoretical physics—the Dirac equation for matter and then the force equations,

the Yang-Mills equation, and the Einstein field equations—are all in some sense provably

the best possible equations in their category of equations.

And so what happened was that we had a question: is there any way to go about finding even

better equations?

And we can essentially prove that these equations cannot be beaten in any simple way.

So the possible elaborations I would say are now obvious, and we've tried all of them

and none of them have seemed to yield to anything that clearly advances our picture beyond where

we are now.

So the question is, do we need a radical rethinking?

Is there something wrong with the fundamentals?

Is Einstein, in fact, wrong to slip in space-time on the ground floor of the theoretical physics

which is shared by both quantum field theory and general relativity?

Or are we simply in that situation where you think you've searched your apartment everywhere

for your missing spectacles or keys but, in fact, it was hiding in plain sight the whole

time—You just didn't think to look in the right place?

And I would say the jury is really out and the problem is that this is in some sense

– and I say this not as an insider in physics but really as an outsider since I wasn't

trained in that subject per se—But this is the world's most accomplished intellectual

community, whether you find them easy to deal with or sometimes rather unpleasant as I occasionally

do.

There is no question in my mind that no other group has ever achieved anything like the

theoretical physics community.

But the question is, why are they stumped?

And if they do need help where can it come from?

It doesn't seem that any of the chemists or the biologists would have enough to contribute

even though physics has contributed to both of those fields.

And so the real hope is that it's either going to come from theoretical physicists

themselves, from mathematicians who struggle to make any kind of contact because the pedagogy

in physics is quite forbidding (and I would say it's not quite as good as the pedagogy

in mathematics generally speaking), or it is going to come from some completely strange

source, maybe somebody who is a self-teacher, off the grid, that we've never heard of.

But we've heard from all of the leading lights and I would have to say that almost

no one from the traditional community really has any kind of a great idea as to how to

make the next progress.

Well I think that if you think about Einstein's vision abstractly, properly, in all probability

I think he'll be proved right in the end in the abstract.

But the key question is, did he get some of the particulars wrong?

He has a beautiful quote where he says that his equation can be viewed as a mansion with

two wings, one of which is made from fine marble and the other is made from cheap wood

(being the two signs of the equality).

Now most people have looked at the cheap wood and said well, our theory of matter and the

stress energy tensor as it's known technically is probably what needs to be upgraded so that

the equation is pure marble on both sides.

There's a rather more disturbing possibility which is that the marble is, in fact, a premature

codification of the geometry and that, in fact, it is not impossible that we have been

so beguiled by the beauty and elegance of the marble side of Einstein's equation that

we haven't put nearly the time or the energy into figuring out whether that's where the

problem is.

But the problem for us if we do go down that route is that Einstein's theory is so locked

in at this point through path dependence.

We've built everything upon his insights that it's not really clear how you could

make a modification to the foundations of physics without having the whole thing collapse

around you.

And so even if you have an idea that you're going to do something very heterodox, which

is to question the bedrock or the marble of the geometry, the question is can you even

get to it given the incredible skyscraper that has been built on his solid geometric

foundations?

So this is in some sense the route that I've gone down, which is to try to think about

novel approaches.

If you are going to break with the community it's very difficult to keep up with that

level of neural horsepower if you have any other commitments on your time.

So in some sense if you choose the path of the dissident or the heterodox or the crank,

you will find that your only hope and chance is to have a really novel idea about how this

game goes so that you have some time and some breathing room for everyone else.

And, of course, nobody's very optimistic about that prospect because it's very difficult

to do work on one's own as Einstein did in the patent office.

In fact we haven't seen a second version of his story since his famous emergence from

the patent office.

However, the fact is that the traditional community is also stalled out.

So you have two horses, neither of which seems to be capable of finishing the race, and the

question at this moment is should we be looking more to the heterodox—running the risk of

craziness and cranks—or should we be looking more to the traditional community which seems

to have gotten itself in a cul-de-sac that we call string theory, M-theory and super

symmetry?

The jury is out but I think it's become a much more interesting question because traditionally

we would have bet on the experts.

But the experts have taken more time researching this theory than any group I think has ever

taken to research a theory.

And the fact that they have been unable to find anything, in fact, means that perhaps

the odds have changed in that race.

Matt Stephens' Canyon Aeroad Disc - Duration: 3:33.

(jingle)

- This is my Canyon Aeroad CF SLX Disc.

Which had its first outing back in February.

That first ride was actually was on the Yas Marina

Formula One Circuit ahead of the Abu Dhabi Tour,

where I guess a bike as aggressive looking as this

must have felt pretty much at home.

Plus, you have the added bonus of running alongside

Alberto Contador.

A debut to remember if ever there was one.

Now as many of you will know, and as the the name suggests,

the Aeroad is Canyon's Aero Road offering.

I mean, just look at the wind sheeting design.

From the Aeroad forks of the front all the way through

to the back of the bikes, with a cam tail seat tube,

and of course the dropped aerodynamic profiled stays.

The aggressive race profile geometry, means that I can get

into a pretty slammed position relatively easily.

Which really does suit my riding style.

And the short head tube means that I can get into a low,

yet comfortable arrow position.

The thing about this bike is it's built for speed.

This bike has also taken me over some of the most famous

and iconic mountain passes in the Dolomites.

As well as taken me on a more modest, yet hilly route

on my commute to the GCN offices.

Okay, let's have a little look at the kit on board my Aeroad.

Now, just a few weeks ago, it had a nice little upgrade

from Ultegra to a brand new shiny, Dura-Ace R 9170 groupset

which means electronic shifting and hydraulic braking,

giving far better breaking points.

But, you ask, don't the disc brakes cause extra drag?

Well they do, but it's hardly noticeable at all.

In fact, Canyon say the disc brakes cause one watt

of extra drag compared to rim brakes in the wind tunnel test.

The hydraulic brake levers have slimmed down considerably

from previous iterations, and I must admit, I find it

pretty fascinating how they found to squeeze that much

tech inside such a small area.

Looking at the wheels now, both front and rear, I've got

DT Swiss ERC 1100, so a combination of light weight

and aerodynamics.

They're showed with Continental GP 4000 2's 25mm clinchers.

Gearing wise, I've gone pretty pro setup actually,

away from the compact design.

I've gone for a 53/39 up front, 175mm cranks,

while at the back, I've got 11-30.

It gets me up pretty much, everything.

Finishing kit wise now, so I've got fi'zi;k Arione saddle

atop a Canyon Aeroad seat post, Dura-Aace pedals, I've got fully

integrated bars and stem, that's proprietary Canyon

as well, and up front I've got Wahoo Element head unit.

So, with this bike primarily being built for speed,

what does it weigh in at?

We're gonna find out.

Scales miraculously appeared from my back pocket.

Oh, got the balance good.

Here we go. 7.55kg.

So there we go, a mini tour of my GCN coloured Aeroad.

Let's see what you think in the comment section below.

And if you haven't already subscribed to the Global

Cycling Network, you can do so for free, by clicking

on the globe.

And we have a couple more pro bikes I think you might like.

Just click down here for Steve Cummings' Cervelo S5

from the Tour de France this year, or for Alberto Contador's

custom Trek Emonda click just down here.

And don't forget to like and share.

Top 10 Best and Worst Alola Pokemon (Worst) | Ft. Pokédan - Duration: 5:25.

Hey, what's going on Yt my names is..

Hold on..

What month are we in again? *Sigh* Hi Dan.

Hey guys Pokédan hurrrr.

What collab is it this time?

Top 10 Best & Worst Alola Pokemon of course!

Ah..

Any reason i've only got awful pokemon on this list here?

I don't know what you mean

Dan.

Karlos?

Dannn

Fine were doing the worst alola pokemon on your channel

because i know how much you like to rant about things..

I'm in.

So, here we are.

Only mere days away from what's been built up as arguably one of the best follow up games

in pokemon in ultra sun and moon, what better way to get the hype levels up than to crap

all over the new pokemon right?

I'm not sure that was our in- Let the roast begin!

First off i wanna talk about the Jangmo-o line.

Awful pokemon, just awful.

I mean sure it's getting it's own Z-move that's sort cool i guess?

I guess..

I mean but look at it!

It's just ugh.

I'm sorry i have love for some of even the ugliest pokemon in the franchise, hell alolan

persian even gets a pass in my book cause look at this awkward looking thing.

It had all the potential to be the next hydreigon or tyranitar or dragonite… but no.

Just a bad pokemon and don't even mention it's shiny.

UGH look at that thing!

It's like someone at gamefreak got bored by the time they got to this pokemon & realised

oh crap!

We need a dragon for this region.

Ok here we go, well base it on a potentially awesome looking dinosaur aaand uh i don't

know well put some scales on it so no one will question if its a dinosaur..

Ugh.

Next up is Pykumuku.

This one is just annoying because it could have been something great, unfortunately what

we got however was just another useless wobbuffet.

Not only that i personally felt an evolution could have really helped this guy out, it

just doesn't seem like a complete pokemon to me, what with it being so small, having

such a bad movepool.

I will admit it has a pretty nice ability…..

If you need a kamazee member of your team of course..but other than that i can only

see this thing being a major hazard in somebody's nuzlocke.

Look.

Some Pokemon you like..

And some Pokemon you dislike.

Then there's Shiinotic.

Shiinotic was a Pokemon i WANTED to be awesome, i liked it's design (Hey at least it didn't

have a pokeball on it's head) and most of all it's typing.

I WANTED!

This thing to be GREAT!

But it wasn't..

It's bad.

It's soooooo bad.

It's just too weak to use for anything, i've tried in online battles, multi battles with

friends and it just doesn't work.

So even though it's so high or low on the list depending on how you look at things,

it's not out of hate.

It's disappointment.

So much disappointment.

Another bad Pokemon we got out of Sun and Moon was the drowsing Pokemon, Komala.

Now I know what you guys are thinking…

Why hate on this little guy?

He is adorable and precious and should be protected at all costs, but let's face it…

Just like Pyukumuku, this Pokemon is lost potential.

Before Sun and Moon, we didn't have a Koala Pokemon and when we do get one, it's useless.

Komala's not really got anything going for it stats-wise and that's why it should have

gotten an evolution.

Also, a massive Koala bear Pokemon would have looked epic, but yet, GameFreak left us with

a Pokemon that isn't capable of anything other than being a pain to encounter to fill

up the PokeDex.

Komala my dude, you well and truly suck.

Annnd finally at the top..

Or bottom of this list of the Worst Alola Pokemon isssss Bruxish!

(Alright cool, we done here?..

What do you mean i have to say something about it?

Have you seen it?

Okay cool so you get it?

Ugh fine…)

So Bruxish is a Pokemon that both Dan and i agree is pretty bad, not just for it's looks

but for it's movepool i mean 12 moves in it's leanset?

COME ON!

Even Pyukumuku can learn more moves than this pathetic fish!

Do we really need to explain more about why this pokemon sucks so bad?

I'll tell you what viewers at home.

Go get yourself a Bruxish right now and OH WAIT THAT'S RIGHT ITLL TAKE YOU ALL NIGHT

BECAUSE THE DAMN THING IS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO ENCOUNTER NOT TO MENTION EVERYTIME I TRY

TO GET THE 20% BUBBLING SPOTS I SCARE THEM OFF CAUSE I'M GOING "TOO FAST ON MY FAT

ASS LAPRAS" *Catch breath* Okay.

No i'm fine..

Honestly…..

F*ck Bruxish.

Alright.

Well hope you all enjoyed the video, I want to thank Dan for joining me on this and of

course for having me over on his channel..

Again.

Naturally videos like this tend to attract the loud minority of people that may disagree

with our choices so any and all likes you guys could leave on the video would be amazing,

if you're not already of course subscribe to myself and Dan and let me know in the comments

how wrong or right we were...ok bye

Brave Frontier RPG - [SUB EN] Summoner Arc Introduction ! (How to/tips & advice) - Duration: 25:45.

Hello everyone! VK here!

And during this video full of infos...

We'll discuss a bit about the 3rd arc relased some days ago!

And we'll try to cover up everything together

Like the features, how to accede to it...

And also giving you tips like : what should we up first, or where to farm components...

or even EXP/SP, in order to progress easily on the first map (Bectas)

So! To unlock the 3rd arc, the only thing you need to do

And it may not be easy, you have to beat Karna Masta in MENON (not Mildran)

Once you killed it, you gain access to the 3rd arc

For those who are a bit late, keep doing the quests until you clear Menon, then it'll be fine

and you'll be able to do the 3rd arc quests

How to access to the 3rd arc menu:

As many people are stuck on the menu

Just click on the "Home" button on the main menu

Once you do that, you'll have the 3rd arc's home screen

It's basically the same, but blue, and you have a different team, it's normal!

The energy bar stays the same, though, it's shared between normal mode, and the summoner's mode (3rd arc)

If you're using energy outside the summoner's mode, your energy won't come back

There's no different energy bars for every mode, so plan your moves carefully

You'll have 3 menus from here, the quest menu (same as before), the summoning art lab menu, further rooms opens as you progress through the quests

At that point, the best rooms are unlocked when you finish Bectas (the 1st map)

And the arena, at that point it's useless to go there, as it's bugged, you'll lose instantly. (fix soon)

As before, you'll use your normal squad, not your summoner squad, so no worries!

At that point, we saw everything, maybe there'll be more menus as the game progresses

We saw everything, anyway, so no need to discuss it any further

So, basically, the 3rd arc is a sequel, of the main story where you'll have to play your own character

We even have a "Avatar button" on the screen, we'll talk about it later

As I said. You'll play your own hero, you'll up it, stat, level and element-wise, plus upgrading it's weapons

We'll go into further details later

And, you'll progress through the quests, trials, bosses ans such with your hero, and some units of your own roster

Let's see the menus! The avatar menu is available at the very beginning

But some options are locked, everything will be unlocked very shortly after the first quests of Bectas (the 1st map)

And the game will ask you to understand how it works and what you can do

This video's here to help everyone to fully understand this game mode

On the "Status" menu, you'll find your own character stats, weapon, LS, BB/SBB ect...

By the way, when you'll start playing, you'll see this screen , the "appearance" menu

And here, you'll have to choose your gender, haircut and your element

You can pick whatever you want, however, changing genders cost 1 gem

You can freely change your haircut and element though

You can pick your element based on what you want to level up

So, your character will grow over time, by completing quests, upgrading weapons and such

That was the first menu, you can change your element by pressing "change", your character will even change it's colors!

As for the "Summoning Arts", the elemental level

Click on the button, it looks hard to understand right?

To put it simply, you'll have to level up every element, like the EXP of your character or your units

It's not the same thing however

Keep in mind that you have 3 things to up, the personal level of your character, the elemental level...

and also the level of the weapons you can obtain through quests and bonuses

We see that we have the 6 elements, my earth element is lvl 20, it's maxed at the moment.

If you have a high level on a certain element, you'll be able to have stronger units

For exemple, we see that I can use 4* units or below at 100% of their potential

That includes their stats, the orange bar, or the BB refill rate, that's the blue bar

Having a high level on an element allows you use stronger BB, SBB or even UBB!

Also, the higher the level, the better, you will be able to use all of your units!

At the beginning, you can't use Omni-rarity units, they'll be locked, and if you can unlock them, their stats and BB refill rate will be extremely low

As we see, I'll be able to use Earth Omni's but they'll only have 35% of their stats and 25% BB refill rate (instead of 100%)

The 5* or 4* rarity units are the best choices to begin with

This will change in a distant future, when we'll be able to fully use Omni-rarity units, and it'll take time to farm!

Seeing the "Details" resumes what you can do with each element, for exemple, at the lvl 1 of every element

You can summon 5* star units

At that moment we're capped to the level 20 for each element, but the cap will be higher the more maps we'll have (up to the level 100)

in order to use every unit at 100% of their potential

So now, you can focus on your favorite element, or the best for you to clear the 1st map

It's not that hard to understand, you just have to find your way on the menus

Since it's rather new, it's understandable

Even if some players saw how it works on the other versions

Next menu : The parameter boosts, there's boosts to up your main stats, HC/BC drop rate etc...

To unlock these boosts, you'll need SP, to gain it, clear some quests, you'll earn them at the end of every quest

You'll also gain SP when you level up your character

And you can spend SP here, it costs a lot to get a boost

At that point we usually gain 3~4 SP

And you gain more SP per level up, depending on your current level, the higher level you have, the more SP you'll gain

But at the very beginning, a boost costs 10 SP, then 40,80, 130~160 up to a couple thousand SP

I'll also give you tips about what boost to focus first

The fuse menu, classic, up to 5 units to fuse to your hero

Each fusion will give EXP to the weapon you currently hold

Before we continue, let's have a look to the weapons

At the beginning you'll have the sword equipped, then you'll gain access to the spear, then the axe after clearing Bectas' bonus

When you level up these weapons, it's, as I said, on the fuse menu

You have to fuse some gods and crystals to your weapons, it's not mandatory however

It, to be honest, should be avoided, as it cost a lot of zel and material to gain EXP

But for those who are rich, go on, you will have a lot of EXP per fuse!

I don't even have crystals anymore, and it costs 3millions / 5 cristals fused!

It cost a lot of zels and your weapons are also capped to the level 20, for the time being

Just like the elemental level

I personnally recommand using the spear, it's the most efficient weapon

It greatly helps, as the spear gives you a huge DEF and REC buff on BB, and a regen effect on the SBB

As for the SBB, by seeing the details of any weapon, at the lvl 20, we unlock it

As you must rely on survavibilty on the first maps, the DEF/REC and regen effect are unvaluable to clear them easily

Since regaining HP is really hard with one ally and one unit. We'll see it later

Switching weapons is fairly easy, as you just have to touch a weapon to change, then press "select"

The fuse menu, that's done, then the Extra Skills!

The Extra Skills depends of the weapons you currently have, and those you have leveled up

These extra skills must be equipped, and you can have up to 2 extra skills at the same time

As shown there, I have two EX Skills aviliable, one given by the sword, the other by the spear

Ain't that hard to understand, but you have to know it

These little details are very important in fact, as the game over comes very quickly after our first quests

And then, we see everything in these menus, it's normal

Then, the spheres!

As for the spheres, it's basically the same, craft them, equip them... BUT!

3rd arc' spheres are only for your character, and they works as a swichable LS

As shown here, I only have 1 sphere, the +20%REC/HP one

If i equip it, then my character will have this effect as a Leader Skill

You can craft different spheres, and then, as i said, switch LS anytime

To craft them, go to the Town, then on the blue house (Note: NO, this house wasn't made for exchanges, that was an april fool's joke guys!)

Inside you got a list of LS spheres

Of course, it will ask to farm a bit, but it's really easy to get your first LS, just take your time

It's not that hard or long or even boring, so don't worry

The first items are dropped on the normal quests maps while the others on the 3rd arc quests

It's a bit useless to craft more that 1 LS sphere at the beginning though.

Also, I almost got the Sacred Flag , just a bit of work

I'll also finish the other LS spheres later!

Nothing particular to say, except that these things will determine what LS you'll have

Once you'll get your EX Skills plus your LS, you'll find the 3rd arc content easier

So what now, LS? Done?EX Skills? Also done! We covered most of the basics I guess!

Now let's talk about the summoning lab, shall we?

Basically, it's a training ground, where you'll get EXP for your character, weapons and elements

When you'll do quests...

Here's the 1st map, with 7 areas + 1 bonus

When you'll do your quests, and pick a friend, you'll gain STP

Instead of FP, of course

Be careful, some quests gives no STP's due to a fixed ally

You gain a base of 50 STP per friend, outside of events, when you can gain more STP's

And these points are spent on the Training Hall

Pick Summoner's Training ground

As you will soon have trials made for 3rd arc's gameplay, each trial will reward you with new weapons

You have 4 menus after that

(I have currently 2220 STP, obtained through quests)

And of course you can pick whatever you want, as it really helps

The 1st banner gives you loads of EXP summoner, the 2nd one EXP element, the 3rd one gives weapon EXP and the last one gives SP

These dungeons costs 0 energy, however, it costs a lot of STP

And of course the ratio STP spent per run is far more superior than what we gain though quests

You can't avoid this place especially when you have to farm EXP

To put it simply, you do your quests, then you farm EXP/SP, then back to your quests

The dungeons are quite easy, logic, but be careful, you can still lose if you're not paying attention, and you'll lose STP

When you start, you'll leveling up very quickly, and only the lvl 1 of the 4 dungeons will be unlocked

When you beat the boss of Bectas, you'll gain access to the lvl 2 of all the dungeons, more rewarding but harder

It's the same system everywhere, but the elemental & weapon leveling dungeon cost more STP than the others

(500 STP vs 300 STP for some levels)

Using these dungeons is mandatory in a sort of way, you can't progress easily without it

Now, time for the tips and how to optimize your time and ressources!

The first thing to do, is to farm for your first LS sphere, it's VERY important

As we saw it, it's not complicated

Do some quests here and there, check the wikis if needed, in order to find the locations of your drops

You craft your LS sphere, then you equip it on the menu "LS Sphere"

Then, continue your quests, when you begin, your character will be alongside Tilith 6*

She has the Sky Orb, LOL!

Then, you'll meet Reda, a new character you'll often see during the 3rd arc scenario (Note : Reda's playable on the JP server.)

After that, you'll be able to pick your own allies, Reda will do some come backs on your squad now and then, but not that often

Your allies will be the characters of other players

Allied units are forbidden on 3rd arc's mode

Keep going until you're struggling to clear the quests available due to a lack of damage

...Or even because you don't have enough regen.

Then you'll have to upgrade your weapons, elemental level getting SP and leveling your character

So here's a question : What should we up first?

Here's an advice, coming from me plus several players I know who played this mode on the other servers (And thanks you for that, guys!)

As for the EXP Summoner : You only gain stats, and nothing more, it's still important, but less significant than the other things

I think you should focus on leveling one element you need, first, to begin the 3rd arc

Some players will disagree, but IMO, the earth element is the more useful on Bectas

Since the last boss is a thunder element foe

And as such, you'll be able to tank his attacks easily

BUT, at the moment where you cleared the quests, focus on the dark/light elements

Since Dark and Light got a lot of useful units, or even EU exclusive units made for the 3rd arc.

Of course don't put everything you have on these 3 elements, the others will be useful, don't neglect them!

Just focus on one element first, to gain some confort, as you will be able to use stronger units of your "main" element

As we saw it earlier, the higher your LVL is, the stronger your summoned unit will be

On your unit screen, I didn't showed it, you're allowed to use 1 unit, then 2, then 3, and finally 4, but it'll come later

Plus, of course the summoner, It will be your lead and is a fixed unit, you can't make a team like your times in Ishgria for example

And of course, as we said it before, you also have to unlock some things with your elemental levels to gain access to 6* units or more, or even boosting their stats

Here, look my Cosette 5*, she can be stronger

If i want to use a 6*,7*, Omni, and having almost all of their parameters, i'll have to up my elemental lvl

I maxed out Earth element at the beginning to do the last boss easily, without stress or fails

Then i changed for the Dark element

So, in any case, i think elemental LVL is the most important thing to lvl up

You'll gain EXP for everything after every quest anyway

But you gain a small amount of EXP

When i said you got to focus on something, by the way, it was on the training grounds, not the quests

And we'll see later that some quests gives more EXP weapon/character etc...

So here's a recap : Level up your element first, then up 2 weapons at level 5 minimum

Why you're asking? Because of the extra skills!

Having 2 weapons lvl 5 is really easy to do, and really fast

If i recall correctly, with 1 lvl of summoner lab, you can get your weapon lvl 5 or 6 so yeah, it's really easy to do

And it really doesn't take that much time

Having 2 extra skills right from the beginning is really strong, especially the extra skill of the spear

Regen effet self + 10%HP, it's always appreciated, it's really strong against the bonus boss by the way, he does poison ailments

Once you get your 2 extra skills, keep the spear and max it, then the other weapons, as the spear is more useful when you start the 3rd arc.

Over time, we will have other weapons, so it allows you to wait until then

And finally, up your summoner level, as it'll boost your base stats, and you'll be getting SP's and the other elements (fire, water, thunder)

So, wich stats should we up first?

When we go on the "Parameters"' menu, we see our boosts unlockable with SP, i took the HP, DEF and HC/BC drop rate

In the order : BC/HC drop rate is a top priority, as you will drop few to no HC or BC, since we're struggling to refill our BB jauges, like the first versions of BF

It's like the very beginning of the game, where we couldn't use our BB's every turn

Even if it costs a lot, BC/HC drop rate boost should be a priority

Then, i pick more HP and DEF, as you will need strong defenses to survive the first maps

It's a personal advice, but still good to hear it

However, feel free to pick other boosts, as we have different playstyles

So now, let's see our spots for farming items/EXP

As for the elemental LVL, outside of the training grounds, it'll be on the Information Tower, Data Overload

This is where you'll have the best ratio EXP/energy

As for the summoner EXP, outside of the training grounds, it'll be on the Elevated Station, Ancient Wings

You'll have the best ratio energy/EXP

And, as for the SP, it'll be on Tech City Mersas, Soulless

These spots were found by other players, on other versions, I'm just giving you these tips, if you want to farm for something in particular, during your quests

And i guess we covered everything we need to know, if you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comment section below

I'll reply to it with pleasure, and I'll see you next time, for another video! Cya!

...mon meilleur ami Nakatomi no Kamatari, l'ancêtre du clan Fujiwara.

Prince Naka no Ōe, Palais d'Asakura, Juillet 661.

Michelle Vesterby's Cannondale SuperSlice Pro Bike And Kit - Duration: 4:31.

- We're in Hawaii with Michelle Vesterby's Huffy

Panama Jack town bike, complete with its own

bottle opener and basket for all your nutritional needs.

But, actually, we're here to see Michelle's race bike.

(snaps fingers)

And this is her Cannondale SuperSlice time trial bike.

(edgy guitar music)

Well lets start with the frame

and this absolutely awesome paint work.

So, Michelle's had this designed and painted

for her by a friend back in Denmark.

I have to say, I've never seen anything like this

and I'm incredibly jealous.

Well, let's move to the groupset,

which is pretty pimped out.

She's got the sram red ETAP front

and rear derailleurs.

She's got the ceramic speed oversize jockey wheels

and the UFO chain.

She's using the 55/42 chain rings

and on that she's got the Vision metron carbon

monocoque aero cranks at 165mm.

On the end of those, she's got

the Garmin Vector three power metre pedals.

She's got an 11/25 cassette

and she also has Ceramicspeed bottom bracket bearings.

Onto the wheels, and Michelle's using the Vision Metron 55

on the front and the Vision Metron 81 on the rear.

And on those, she's using Vittoria Corsa clincher tyres.

She's got Vision carbon base bars

and on top of that she's got a customised Vision component

here which allows her to change the angle

at which she has her poles.

She's using the Carbon drag-to-zero arm cups

and on the end of the poles and on her base bars

she's got the sram red etap blips for changing gear.

She's got the Vision brake levers which then goes down

to the TRP cable disc breaks.

Michelle is using the Fizik Mistica time trial saddle

with its blunt nose and then she's using XLAB bottle cage

including the gorilla cage on the back for extra grip,

just to keep that bottle intact.

Then on the downtube she's got the XLAB aero TT bottle

and finally, she's using the XLAB stealth pocket for

nutrition on her toptube.

It weighs in at 9 kilos and now finally,

let's hear the freehub sound.

(bicycle tyre whirring)

And now moving on to Michelle's race kit.

And she's using TYR Yamamoto SCS swim skin and on under that

she's going to be wearing the Sugoi Trisuit.

She's also using a brand new customised Kask Kona aero

Time trial helmet and it's got her own motto,

'keep smiling' and it even has little diamontes as dots

on top the the i's, which is pretty cool.

She's using the Fizik triathlon shoe and then finally,

for the run, she'll be wearing the On Cloudflow Trainers.

I'm delighted to say that Michelle has agreed to join us.

Thanks for coming, Michelle and thanks for letting us

have a look at your bike, really interesting.

Couple of questions, is there anything

you're going to change for race day or is this

exactly as you're gonna ride it?

- This is pretty much how it's going to be like, if it's

less windy then I will put a higher profile wheel in front.

Or else I don't change much, I'll put a bottle here

in the front as well, so I have a nearer bottle.

- And what do you carry, do you have water or nutrition

in your bottles, what's in the three?

- I will have nutrition in this one and water

in the rest, so I will calculate this precisely per hour

so I know what energy I'm going to take

so I'm not taking anything out, only water.

- Okay, so you don't carry any nutrition in here?

- No, maybe a little snack, I don't know yet.

I might put in some gummy bears or something nice, yeah.

- Okay, and what about repairs, do you take

any puncture repair kit anywhere?

- I take Pit Stop, put it here but that's it.

And then I cross my fingers for no puncture or at least

I'll be out in front so I have a bike mechanic close to me

that can help me.

- That's good incentive for the race.

- Exactly, yeah, yeah it is.

- And is it, I mean, you've been here several years now.

Has anything changed in your preparation or

your set up, compared to when you first came to Kona?

Have you changed anything dramatic?

- No, not really actually, the biking is my strong side

so that's where I want to make an improvement

so I'm always trying to be pretty aggressive on the bike,

and my bike position, being pretty aero coming home

for Harvey because you know it's a hard crosswind

that will come in so it's really important that you can

stick to your position and that you can keep pushing

on the last 40K as well.

- Michelle, thanks so much for your time.

- You're welcome.

- For showing us your bike, really interesting stuff.

And if you've enjoyed this video, give us a thumbs up,

Terry Bouhraoua France's Rugby Sevens Captain Gets Naked For A Good Cause | Fashion Behind the Games - Duration: 2:40.

(STYLE GAME)

Meet Terry Bouhraoua.

He is a rugby player,

part of the French national Olympic team of sevens.

Born in Algeria, but raised in Paris,

this 29-year-old made an enormous impression

at the last Rio 2016 Olympic Games...

..with charisma and personal game.

But Terry is much more than an athlete,

and that's why we are here.

I am a simple, simple man.

I like the fashion, but I try to find my personal style.

I like to be different, you know?

Terry is also a huge fan of tattoos.

I have two here. Two, three, four, five, six, seven...

Eight. I have this.

"They call me Street".

All my tattoos have something special, you know?

It's just so crazy to be naked, you know.

And in front of...the people.

"Gods of the Stadium" is a calendar

that reunites more than 30 naked athletes.

Yes...

But there's a good cause.

The calendar is made to support the French foundation

Let's Talk In, which fights against breast cancer

in a wide range of activities.

And this time, Terry has the cover.

It was important, yes.

And after, it was a good...a good experience.

It's...sensual.

I think the women like this.

And I think some men like this, too.

Well, actually, they do.

Even the guy who brings Terry his coffee every morning

loves the calendar.

I think it's good to enjoy the life.

And when you have this opportunity,

it's good to play.

Now, we're going to put Terry in disguise.

Now this is yours.

- Like one of us. - You're the sound man now.

To see the people's reaction in front of the calendar.

No, I think... No. No, no.

Bye-bye, my man.

Yes, quite a man. I wouldn't mind meeting him.

With such an anatomy, you know...

OK, time to reveal our little secret.

Terry the sound man is Terry the sex symbol.

- How are you? - Good morning.

Terry has seen in person the reaction of the people

of his audacious pictures.

Now it's time to take some pictures

to remember this moment.

But this time with clothes on.

Funny to see the reaction of the people.

It is so good to see that where there is a good cause,

athletes are willing to go beyond their limits.

Thanks, Terry.
