Youtube daily report Nov 23 2018

Surely one of the most amazing cities in Southeast Asia. the excitement of even the largest Asian communities. overpriced, flashy

disproportionate, magical and known to be one of the cleanest cities in the world

this episode opens a series of unthinkable vlogs in southeast asia. welcome to the capital of the future: Singapore

Hi guys what's up? I'm really happy to meet you for a new video and especially for a new trip

i'm here in bangkok to talk about singapore, i really wanted to come back to this city

with you. and in this video I'll go back to what struck me the most

Singapore. so previously i visited my brother on kuala lumpur, to find him in no time on bangkok

but, well, let's move on. Singapore airport reveals genius: free internet connection

a free cinema, relaxation lounges, a free ride in the city, finally Chengi airport is simply futuristic

The adventure begin

the first thing to know about singapore is that life is as expensive as europe. a sim card runs around 20 dollars

the 3-day metro pass is 20 euros and your days will then turn around 75 euros

There are actually four major cultures here in Singapore: Chinese Indian Malay and European. And so it's synonymous with culinary diversity

Singapore has literally become the gastronomic capital of South East Asia. we start the day at killiney

A typical place to have breakfast, finally a Singaporean fashion

This is a place Alix had spotted

We really wanted to come here to try this thing

so the whole thing

It's putting a little bit of soy in the egg, and white pepper

Apparently, all locals do that, and it's delicious

It's surprising

again a superb address spotted by alix. We are in Little India at Lagnaaa foot dining restaurant

and we had a butter chicken

so well known, and that I do not know at all. I have never tasted

but this one I had never eaten

One of my favorite beds is the china town area. This little bit of china, it is ultra animated from morning to evening

and we find all there is good and less good "made in china"

is here it's cheap, surely the cheapest part of singapore

This is at least the third time we come here to Singapore. the food is

great. it's super good whatever you take here, be it dumbling

fried rice. it's really all Chinese culture that is gathered here in singapore. That's all we took

5 euros per person

we have chicken skewers, we have dumblings

sautéed chicken, Chinese soup

in my travels, I had a little trouble with the Chinese culture but here in singapore, this district is definitely my favorite

the second day on singapore

We have just left our hostel. Hostel a little stile elsewhere, I'll talk about it and I'll put it in description

It is part of these new, slightly chic hostels. And we can sleep in a double bed

we left to look for bikes. as in Beijing, there is at OFO here

about OFO, this application which I am ultra fan, we still served well. and it's very nice

to discover the city by bike. I like OFO, not really, I love

but the

Bathing in Singapore is possible and especially on the island of Sentosa

Ok guys, here we arrived at the first beach of Santosa 5 km from the center of Singapore. you have beaches

sand like that. and when the weather is nice it must be super nice

I will tell you about my favorite topic during city trips: rooftop. there is a lot in the city but some people want more than

others. And besides here for you my top 3 of the most beautiful rooftop in Singapore. the first is the fullerton hotel's sky bar

like all rooftops, this one, it is overpriced and it is in particular due to taxes imposed on alcohol. it's the night spot

ultimate for taking pictures of the marina and marina bay hotel

number two the red bar of the swiss hotel. so that's another decor here at

73rd floor, more intimate or less stuffy. The restaurant looks good too

The guy who had the idea of this toilet

First place: the hotel marina sky park

the entrance is 20 euros but not only the view is insane, but the ticket gives 20 euros credit for drinks. Is there any battle with Bangkok, a hundred times yes!

Hello everyone!

day 3 here in singapore. you are perfect. No, I find you really pretty like that

"It's for little india" we are going to little india today, and we are also going on Orchaid road. I take this opportunity to show you

the hostel because we got up a bit later than expected

and so, it is in these species of big crates that we sleep. Those are double beds

So, we are about thirty to sleep there. but it's extremely calm, what is it cold

Here we are on orchaid road, so the equivalent of elysed fields here in Singapore

it's crazy because

all department stores are there

we are very far from the fields, but hey in the mind it's about the same thing

it's a huge street. Which extends from

All there down

The bottom. We'll go take a last subway just there to go to little india

One of the nice streets to do here. with the oldest houses in singapore

This is where there are perfumed frangipani merchants

What to imagine is that one is

in the middle of the center of singapore. there is this kind of colonial house

dating from the 19th century. I'm really talking about the 19th century here because it's the year that came

the English and we find this kind of building in the middle of the center just a stone's throw from the towers

and where there are shops

I love that kind of stuff

We are at the foot of the marina hotel marina bay hotel to get there right in front

and make garden by the bay. finally we just took the tickets for the cloud forest and not the other because it's the most

interesting of the two eventually. we paid $ 16

what comes back to us a little around ten euros just to do it and it's

super nice to take pictures inside. I can not wait to be there

What a conclusion I could give from this amazing city of Singapore

I already really enjoyed spending time there and I think it was a bit too short. four or five days it is

really and I think a week is maybe enough to visit the city a little

there is so much to do here between gastronomy, culture

or even the architectured. short

Singapore was like a big playground for me. I only went around the city and I think I'm not

enough detail in each opportunity and in every activity that could propose

Singapore. I think this can be a good step when you plan to travel to South East Asia to visit Thailand.

malaysia or indonesia

when we turn around these countries I think it's really interesting to linger over

Singapore. I thank enormously Occia and Lamia who were the two people to give me the most information about Singapore

I'll give you an appointment for an upcoming video and it will be here in Thailand. I am in Bangkok

currently and I had the opportunity to meet lots of content creators here. and of which there are plenty of projects that are in the process of

mature. as in each of my videos I call on you and I invite you to share it

comment and react on this video. it's super important for me. and I give you an appointment for a next video

The flight plan I just filed with the agency...

...lists me, my men, Dr. Pavel here...

...but only one of you!

First one to talk, gets to stay on my aircraft!

Who paid you to grab Dr. Pavel?

He didn't fly so good!

Who wants to try next?

Tell me about Bane!

Why does he wear the mask?

A lot of loyalty for a hired gun!

Well, perhaps he's wondering why someone would shoot a man...

...before throwing him out of a plane.

At least you can talk.

Who are you?

It doesn't matter who we are.

What matters is our plan.

No one cared who I was till I put on the mask.

If I pull that off, will you die?

It would be extremely painful.

You're a big guy.

For you.

Was getting caught part of your plan?

Of course.

Dr. Pavel refused our offer in favor of yours.

We had to find out what he told you... - Nothing. I said nothing.

Well, congratulations, you got yourself caught!

Sir?

Now what's the next step of your master plan?

Crashing this plane...

...with no survivors.

Mayday, Mayday!

Aah! What you doing to me? Let me out!

No!

No, no, no! No!

No! They expect one of us in the wreckage, brother.

Have we started the fire?

Yes, the fire rises.

Calm down, doctor. Now is not the time for fear.

That comes later.

MEDJUGORJE, IS IT WELL OR EVIL? WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY? PHENOMENON OF THE SKY? - Duration: 3:11.

There are still people who do not understand Medjugorje, they are

ask if it comes from good or bad ... In the Bible, it is clear that this is

to the fruits that we can make ourselves a idea ... and some do not understand ... because

... yes ... there are thousands of people who come to medjugorje ... But there is also

thousands of people who follow trump and there are also thousands of people

who are Hindu ... Yes, but in Medjugorje it's a first name

who comes from Heaven and who is inexplicable ...

In the case of a religion, it comes from a someone who does miraculous things,

it does not come from an inexplicable phenomenon like an apparition or a statue that

bleeds ... it's an idea or a book or a person who is followed by

thousands of people ... it's not about an intervention of the miraculous Heaven ...

and then there are 2 things, on the one hand in India despite religion there are always people

who have been dying on the streets for thousands years

and on the other hand in Medjugorje, there is also people who change their religion,

people who decide to be a priest, children who become "children of god",

people who were creating big projects to help the poor, the children, the

drug addicts, alcoholics ... people who change their lives, returning to Mass and

by doing works for God ... If that's not proof ...

I have not understood anything about religion ...

Jesus in blood ...

In Tucuman, Argentina, the carved painting of Jesus distributing the bread to the apostles

blew.

Indeed, we can see on the images the blood on the head of Christ. This phenomenon ...

it took place in June 2010 ...

7 Ways to Stay Healthy This Holiday Season 🎅🏼 - Duration: 6:16.

Need some go-to tips to stay healthy this holiday season? Keep watching.

Hello I'm Ann, and I'm Chloe, and we are Veggie Magnifique, the Parisian

holistic wellness and vegan lifestyle blog. So the festive season is upon us.

We love the festive season, we love the partying and the merrying and the

mingling and the seeing friends and family - and it's my birthday - and it's

your birthday - it's such a special season

but we know that it can be really difficult to stay on track with your

health goals during this season, so we wanted to provide you with some answers.

Because it's not impossible to deck the halls with verve and vim instead of torpor

and indigestion when you have these tips in place. So we're gonna share those with you today.

Top tip number 1 - hydrate hydrate hydrate! This is an oldie but a goodie

and it's a goodie for a goody reason - it's because it works. It's your best friend

when you might have overdone it with the food and possibly the alcoholic drinks,

to hydrate in the morning - have a good litre of water on rising and that will

help flush out all of that stuff from the partying and get you out of that

food coma. Number two tip is to have a snack beforehand, so before you go to a

party, before you go to a dinner, because chances are the fare is not going to be

you know healthy and/or vegan friendly, so if you have a snack beforehand you're

going to be more mindful and not ravenous, which gives you you know the

the mindfulness and the wherewithal to chat up Mister Handsome-pants you know

in the Christmas jumper - and that's what parties are

for. Top tip number three is something that we swear by - is bringing a healthy

dish to a party. It's a really nice way to show your appreciation for the host

and to contribute, by bringing something that everybody can share and enjoy in

and that you know is going to be really healthy for you,

and it's not going to put you into a food coma. So we're gonna share down below some

links to some of our favourite recipes that we love to bring to parties. Some of

them are by us and some of them are tried and tested from other blogs, so we

really hope that you try out some of those recipes and enjoy them. Our tip

number four is called 'The Pause' and we'll explain

so the pause is taking a moment as it is evident - before you eat. Now this could

be a a moment to thank the universe or God or you know your lucky stars that you

have food before you because there are so many people who don't, but it also is

a moment of mindfulness for you to really breathe and get into a

parasympathetic nervous system so that you eat with care and attention and

gratitude as opposed to just like scarfing it all down. Because holiday

food can be very scarf-able and the pause is going to help you so much to proceed

with mindfulness and with gratitude and when you eat with gratitude you're so

much more inclined to do it slowly carefully and until you're full, as

opposed to until you're like you know 200% full. Top tip number five is to

give during this festive season and it's going to help you feel like you're

sharing your abundance with other people who might not have such an abundant

and joyous time at this time of year. So when you give you can give of your time

you can give your money you can help someone out, you can give food or of

course you know you can give lovely thoughtful gifts to other people but

think outside the box in terms of giving it's not just about a thing. Number six

should come as no surprise - one of the keys to stay healthy this holiday season

is having a morning ritual and we absolutely swear by having a morning

ritual, which is why we created a product around this practice which is you know

meditations and an ebook and a workbook and the whole works, which you can check

out in the comments below, but we just want to say that when you start out your

day well you're going to be living the rest of your day better and how you

spend your day is how you spend your life and it's so

important but especially during the holidays because during the holidays

there's so much going on, there's you know all this fatty greasy

sugary food, there's all this intense family interactions and all these

things that are happening and if you are grounding in the morning it's gonna help

you to deal with those situations with more mindfulness and more peace of mind.

And on that note our last tip is prioritise self-care, so that can be with

your morning ritual, it can also be a stepping out and having a brisk bracing

winter walk it can also be taking time to meditate

and just some time to just zone out and kind of come back into your body,

because I for one certainly - and I think that a lot of people suffer from this -

with all of this socialising and mingling and things like that is that

you can kind of like lose yourself in that and get a little bit like lost,

like 'who am I again?' so just having a little bit of time out every day it can

be really powerful. So there you have it those are our top tips for having a

healthy holiday season. We'd be delighted if you'd share some of your tips for

sailing through the holidays with health and aplomb. And if you are in Lille or in

the surrounding areas then know that we are giving a presentation on this very

topic at Veggie World Lille on the 16th of December and we'll be going more in

depth on all the different things that we do to stay healthy during the holiday

season, so it's like 45 minutes of tips and tricks and insights. So thank you so

much for watching, we're so delighted to have you on our

channel definitely click that subscribe button and then you will be notified,

especially if you click the bell. And give this video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it

and we will catch you next week on Veggie Magnifique TV - happy

holidays! If you enjoy our content and you're ready to step up your health game

and maximise productivity, check out our 10 days to a powerful morning ritual

toolkit.

Amen.

Go, go, go, go. I'll get it.

Guys, we're shooting a show. Quiet on the set.

Anybody want extra sauce?

So good.

Oh, I'll have a little extra sauce, please.

Okay. Thank you.

Next to my mother's cooking, Paula,

Vinny's mom, is just fantastic.

I love her cutlets, I love her pasta.

Everything she cooks is just magnificent.

There's not a restaurant on the planet

that could taste better than this.

Hell no.

Well, I'm appreciative of you guys,

'cause the first time, I was like, freaking out.

I had never really been away from home for that long,

and partying that much and everything.

Mm-hmm, as a youngun.

I was. And I was freaking out,

and this guy, Sev, who works on the show,

was like, "Yo, what do I gotta do?

What can I do to make you feel better?

You wanna go to the mall or something?"

I'm like, "(bleep) it, let's go to the mall."

So we went to the mall,

and I just walked around the mall, and I'm like-

Just to feel normal? Yeah, just to feel normal.

Like, I'm a real person.

We held hands ...

I bought a candle, and then I-

Candle? I bought a candle.

Candle? What a chooch.

I'm like, "Hopefully, this cures me."

Aww. Remember when-

Did Sev pay for the candle at least?

Nah, he didn't pay. Aww, damn.

Do you remember season one, because of all our fights,

we got shut down early and we went to the movies?

Oh my God, I was just about to say that, you beat me to it.

Oh that was a ... that was awesome.

Wait. That was my fault.

Why did we get shut down?

Yeah, that was awesome. That was my-

Ronny's fight. It was your fault.

Ronny's fight, Ronny's fight.

I knocked the guy out. We got kicked out.

Thank you. You're welcome.

That was awesome.

'Cause obviously you can't air us watching TV,

but we went to the movies off camera. It was amazing.

Oh, it was amazing.

Ooh, I got an embarrassing one, but it's actually-

Why Japanese Is Both the Hardest and Easiest Language to Learn - Duration: 10:00.

When you take one look at Japanese grammar, pitch accent, and kanji,

It's very easy to come to the conclusion that Japanese is one of the world's hardest languages to learn

from the perspective of an English native speaker.

There is something that Japanese has, however, that not many other languages possess,

and because of this one thing it could potentially make the language much easier than we're led to believe.

With this, I don't mean to diminish anyone's hard work towards learning Japanese

but rather share different perspective that hopefully gives some

inspiration and motivation to those currently learning or to those who want to learn but haven't started yet.

And to those watching but not interested in learning,

Wait, why are you wat-

So, how can Japanese be both the hardest and easiest language to learn?

Despite the time-consuming process of learning Japanese grammar, pitch accent, and kanji,

that unique thing Japanese has is

tons and tons of content

Japanese has anime, manga, video games, visual novels, dramas, movies,

music, and a culture that attracts the attention of millions of people across the world.

Unfortunately, the issue is that people are getting caught

in learning just kanji, pitch accent, and grammar rules,

and they never really try to learn from the good juicy native content that Japanese offers.

And when they do try, they don't stick with it long enough and they just quit after one, two, or three days

But of course, learning from this kind of native material can be very overwhelming

But that's why I'm such a big fan of learning Japanese from anime starting from day one.

And to be clear, I'm not saying that everyone should just

watch anime for sixteen hours a day and never pick up a course book or kanji book.

What I'm saying is that forcing yourself to study for two, three, four hours every single day is

going to completely burn you out after six months,

I've been down that road with Korean many many years ago.

And you know what? I get it.

It's embarrassing to tell people that you learn Japanese from anime

because we all know that guy. You know, that guy.

Thanks, Darren,

for screwing it up for everybody else, hmm?

But if you prayed it to your grammar book in hopes that

you won't turn into a weeb before you started learning Japanese from anime,

and by that, I mean just study for 30 to 60 minutes and then watch a few episodes,

you might find it's incredibly easy to pick up thousands of vocabulary

words and grammar structures that are found in everyday Japanese

just by turning off the subtitles and listening in.

Now, I know what you're probably thinking.

You can't actually learn how to speak Japanese by watching anime, right?

Well...

Yeah, I'm not so sure about that.

In reality, it's so easy to learn and keep learning for multiple hours per day,

and as a result, you eventually encounter

and learn all the "serious" Japanese that you need to know.

You can even use the Japanese subtitles to help you learn even more

including kanji as well.

But don't you need to learn all 2,000+ of the "regular-use" kanji

before you can read Japanese?

Absolutely not!

While it's true that I used "Remembering the Kanji"

in an "attempt" to study 800 of those characters,

I couldn't actually complete the full course.

And if it makes you feel any better,

I forgot A LOT of those 800 characters.

I was making great progress learning 20-30 kanji a day,

but honestly, I just got bored after a while.

And I needed something else to do.

I definitely didn't feel ready to read anything,

but the most important thing was that I started.

And I started with the Japanese subtitles from

kitsunekko.net for the anime that I was watching at the time.

And that's how I was able to learn the rest.

Well, at least the "regular-use" kanji that is.

People get caught in this idea that we must complete the full kanji course

or the entire grammar book before doing anything else.

We have this idea that we need to study super hard for years,

and then one day, just magically we're able to understand native Japanese

100% no subtitles or translations required.

But in reality,

reading and listening to native Japanese every single day is how you eventually get to that point.

And because japanese has so much good content you can binge on,

it can potentially become the easiest language to immerse yourself in and learn from day in and day out

In other words,

while it's going to take native English speakers more time in general

to reach the advanced levels of Japanese than say Spanish,

the mental effort and burden required to reach this point can be

significantly much less in Japanese when the language is learned primarily through native materials.

You see, without that good content to practice reading and listening in a foreign language

all this learning becomes meaningless.

The truth is out of millions of people who start learning foreign languages,

most just stop learning at some point and quit altogether.

For example, I studied Korean for four years

religiously while living and working as an English teacher in South Korea.

But I eventually lost all motivation to continue learning even though I was inside the country and

studying that language was my entire life for that whole period.

The thing is that Korean has plenty of good content as well

like K dramas movies and comedy shows.

And I found it all very interesting, but after four years of immersing myself in that country

I had accumulated very little content in particular that I wanted to read or listened to for fun

and just for the sake of the content itself.

I realized I was reading and listening to all this Korean but mostly only to learn Korean.

What was the point of pushing myself to reach the advanced levels if it had lost all meaning?

Just to get some job at some Korean company?

Mmmmmmm...Meh.

It's true that many people study foreign languages for work-related reasons.

They want to build that resume and work in a foreign country and get ahead in their careers.

And even then, having some kind of cultural affinity with the language you're studying makes it so much easier.

So if you were super into Korean culture or any other foreign culture,

You could make the argument that that language is the easiest language to learn (for you.)

But it just so happens that a lot of people that learn Japanese like myself we do it because we're weebs!

It's because we're absolutely fascinated by so much of what Japan offers and as a result,

we're naturally interested in learning the language as well.

That's because good content in a foreign language gives birth to the reason

to start learning it and the ultimate motivation to persist in mastering it.

Even if you're someone who's not interested in anime,

Try not being moved by one of the major films from Studio Ghibli or reading a manga like Death Note.

I understand that anime doesn't appeal to a large number of people out there,

yet if a guy like Bill burr can like One Punch Man,

there's at least a small chance you might like it as well.

So to put everything all together, whether you're interested in learning Japanese or are currently studying,

there's going to be some initial effort required in learning the basics to grammar, pitch accent, and kanji.

But whenever you find yourself getting continually bored with whatever material you're working through,

It doesn't mean that you're lazy nor stupid.

In fact, it's a sign from your highly intelligent brain,

which is the product of millions of years of evolution, and it's trying to tell you to try something new

Go to the source material that got you interested learning Japanese in the first place,

and learn directly from that.

If you know the basics of hiragana, katakana, and grammar,

you have more than enough to begin your own journey.

You can always learn the hard parts along the way.

And if learning Japanese from things like anime and video games

still seems unrealistic to you personally,

to that I say,

World of Warcraft.

Seriously.

You'd be surprised at all the different ways millions of people

across the world have used to reach a high level of English including World of Warcraft.

There's one story in particular though, which I would like to share with you.

This story comes from the world's top Super Smash Brothers player

who goes by the name ZeRo and who also learned English primarily through video games.

In his home town in Chile, all the video games sold came in English rather than Spanish

So he had to learn English to even be able to play video games while growing up.

At just 10 years old, he printed out a 30 page guide in English on how to play

the character Falco in the game Super Smash Brothers Melee.

And with the help of a dictionary and his sister,

he was able to read the entire guide and eventually understand all of it.

Now not only as he considered the best player of the current game,

he lives the majority of his life through English.

With that story in mind,

I'd like to conclude this video with a quote from Friedrich Nietzsche

He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how.

And as always, thanks for watching.

Yuki: I just wanted to be friends with him. I'm not...I'm not really happy here.

I'm sorry mama, but I really miss Gumo and I wanna see him...

I did it!

Mama is really good with tracking.

Maybe I'm good at it too?

Wait, no.

That doesn't smell like Gumo. He said he ate bugs and fruit.

Bugs and fruit...

Fruit! I kinda smell it!

Gumo! Gumo, where are you?

Wh-who are you?

Leave me alone! Stop!

Help! Somebody!

Ori: Hold on! I'm coming!

Keep your head up! I got you!

Yuki: Th-th-thank...y-you...

Ori: It's okay, just take it easy...I couldn't let anybody drown.

Yuki: I-I'm...I'm...Yuki...

Ori: My name's Ori. You're going to be just fine, Yuki. Gumo told me about you

Yuki: G-Gumo? You know h-him?

Ori: Yeah, he's a friend.

Oh Nibel, you feel like ice...but all the ice had melted moons ago...

Yuki: Th-They're gone...r-right?

Ori: Huh? I don't know what you're talking about.

Just save your strength, okay

*wolves howling*

Ori: Why are they howling like that?

Thia: Yuki!

Yuki: M-ma...

Ori: That's your mother...

Kiba: Thank you for saving her. She's indeed my sister's child,

taken in when her leaf went astray from the Spirit Tree.

Ori: Oh! It's uh, it's not a problem!

Kiba: Thia...I think it would be best to let Yuki set her own path. Every time you keep her...

isolated, she goes out and gets into trouble. She could have...

Thia: Wh-what are you saying?

Kiba: Let her decide if she wants to be friends with...uh...

Ori: Gumo.

You're talking about him, aren't you?

I know him, and he misses Yuki.

I'm pretty sure he wants to be friends with her.

Thia: Then...are you Ori?

Are those legends...?

Ori: Yes, I'm Ori.

But they aren't legends

They're real

Kiba: See? I told you you was real and everything that happened is real.

Thia: I...need some time to think...

Ori: I'll be at the Swallows Nest if you-

...come to a decision, okay?

Thia: I will. Thank you, Ori...

Healthy Soups For Fall Compilation + FREE EBOOK - Duration: 10:11.

(upbeat music)

- Hey munchies, welcome to the channel.

If you're new, it is fall which means

for many of us, it is the season of soups.

Or at least it's cool enough to actually want to eat soup.

To get in the comforting food mood,

I have compiled a variety of soups for you today,

all colorful and nutritious.

And I've included a free eBook for you to get

all of the recipes using the link in the description box.

First up, a roasted purple soup.

I start by adding quartered purple potatoes,

purple cauliflower florets, and chopped purple carrots

to a baking sheet and tossing with oil and salt.

Roast until tender.

This roasting is what's gonna give the soup so much flavor.

In a pot, I add oil and onion and cook until tender.

Then I can add in those roasted veggies,

vegetable broth and bring to a boil.

Reduce to a simmer and cook for about 15 minutes.

Then we add it to a blender with a little

almond milk and salt and pep.

You can also use an immersion blender if preferred.

Holy moly, it is so creamy, thick, and satisfying.

Especially with a little bacon and cheddar on top

and talk about colorful.

In case you didn't know, purple potatoes

and cauliflower taste about the same as white

but have some additional nutrients

and flavonoid compounds called anthocyanins

which can help regulate blood lipid and sugar levels,

body weight, and reduce cancer risk, pretty cool.

Next up, a slow cooker lamb and lentil curry.

This one is also from my Sheet Pan and Slow Cooker eBook

which is awesome for meal prep.

If you do wanna prep in advance,

simply add everything to a large freezer bag.

Ground lamb, lentils, crushed tomatoes,

cauliflower florets, frozen peas, onion,

coconut milk, and garlic.

Then I've got a ton of delicious spices.

Garlic powder, onion powder, garam masala,

curry powder, paprika, chili powder, turmeric,

ginger powder, and last but not least, salt and pep.

I remove as much air from the bag as possible,

seal it up, and then refrigerate until I'm ready to cook

or you could also freeze to use later on.

On the day I wanna eat my soup,

I just pour in my prepped ingredients

straight into slow cooker in the morning,

mash up all the meat a bit so that there's no large chunks,

and add some vegetable broth.

Then I give everything a good mix,

cover the slow cooker, and set it to cook slow and low.

Of course, you could skip the initial step

of adding everything to the freezer bag,

if you prefer, and just toss everything

right into your slow cooker.

Some people like to brown their meat in a pan

before adding it to the slow cooker

and this can totally add extra flavor to the dish

but it's not necessary.

After cooking at low heat for eight whole hours,

the lamb is perfectly cooked through

and so unbelievably tender.

About 30 minutes before I wanna eat my soup,

I like to add an entire bag of spinach to the slow cooker.

Trust me, it will look like a lot of leaves at first

but you won't even notice them

once they've wilted down and soaked up

all of the scrumptious savory flavors in this dish.

This soup smells so incredible and it tastes even better.

It's hearty, filling and loaded with nutritious veggies,

protein, and of complex carbs.

And there's even some healthy fats

from the creamy coconut milk.

Next, a sweet fennel soup.

I add oil and shallots to a large pot and cook until tender

about five to eight minutes.

Then I add apples, fennel, and cauliflower

and cook for about five minutes to soften.

Add vegetable broth, bring to a boil,

and then turn down to a simmer for 30 minutes.

I like this creamy so I'm blending it up

with almond milk, thyme and salt and pep.

There's not a wrong way to do soup

so if you like it chunky, don't blend

for quite as long or you can use an immersion blender.

Make this your own.

The sweet apple compliments

the almost perfumy fennel so well.

It's light, creamy and totally comforting

without being too heavy.

I am not usually a fennel person

but this was actually one

of my favorite recipes of the batch.

We are getting greener with this broccoli soup.

And you'll only need two main ingredients.

First I simply add broccoli and salt

to a pot with water and boil until fork tender.

Then I remove the broccoli with a slotted spoon,

transfer to a blender and add my white beans.

You could use a different kind of bean if you like

but I chose white beans because they're nice and creamy

and keep my soup light in color.

I also take a bit of the green water that's left

after boiling my broccoli

and add that to the blender as well.

Enough to cover the broccoli about halfway.

This will keep my soup smooth and it adds some extra flavor.

I season to taste with salt and pep,

you could also use any additional seasonings that you like

and blend until it's perfectly creamy.

And that is it!

Can it get any easier?

Enjoy this nutritious green soup immediately,

store in the fridge for later, or portion and freeze.

Such a simple recipe for a meal prep or a week night dinner

and a great way to get in more veggies.

This recipe is also from my new 100+ Vegan Recipes eBook

and so is this next recipe.

We're heading back to sweeter flavors

with this vegan sweet potato, coconut, curry, lentil soup.

For this soup, I'm starting out by roasting

some sweet potato cubes with coconut oil,

salt, pepper and paprika.

This will get them nice and tender

but it also packs loads of comforting

roasty flavor into my soup.

While that's in the oven, I cook my lentils on the stove

according to package directions.

I chose green lentils but you can use whichever you like.

Let them cook all the way through

and set them aside when they're done.

Finally, to a sauce pan over medium heat,

I add ghee or clarified butter, onion, celery, and carrot,

and cook until the onions begin to sweat.

Then add in some garlic, fresh ginger,

curry powder, cayenne if you want

the kick of heat in your soup, and salt.

Cook for another minute before adding

your roast sweet potato along with some coconut milk.

Bring the entire mixture to a boil,

turn the heat down and let it simmer

for around 20 to 25 minutes.

You could totally enjoy this as a chunky soup

and leave it as is but I am all about the creamy soups.

So I grab my immersion blender and blend it on up.

A regular blender is totally fine too of course.

Then all that's left to do is stir in my cooked lentils.

And I like to top it off with cilantro

and a bit of plain yogurt.

Coconut and sweet potato are a classic pairing

and I love a thick creamy soup.

This recipe is hearty enough to enjoy

as a meal all on its own.

We're getting the slow cooker out again

with this Tuscan chicken soup, another meal prep fav.

To prep this slow cooker soup in advance,

I grab my freezer safe bag and add chicken thighs,

drained and quartet canned artichokes,

fire roasted tomatoes, white beans, sliced mushrooms,

onion, lemon juice, white wine, broth,

garlic, ghee, grass-fed butter or light olive oil,

capers, thyme, salt and pepper.

Again, seal up your bag removing as much air as possible

and store in the fridge or freezer.

When you're ready to cook, pour your prepped bag

of ingredients into the slow cooker, cover and let it go.

You can of course dump everything in there

instead of prepping too.

30 minutes before cooking is done,

I like to add a hearty helping of spinach

to this soup as well.

Stir it in, cover and let it wilt down.

Slow cooking over low heat

brings out all of the savory comforting flavors

in this dish and using chicken thighs packs even more flavor

into your soup because of their rich fat content.

It's creamy, satisfying, and sure to fill you up.

With the combination of white wine,

lemon juice and fresh herbs keeps this dinner

deliciously light and refreshing.

All of the yumminess of a classic Tuscan chicken dish

but the slow cooker does all of the work for you.

Here's another one of my vegan favorites,

jackfruit tortilla soup.

I start with canned jackfruit.

The actual fruit is massive and pretty tricky to handle

so I prefer to get jackfruit canned in brine

which I found at Trader Joe's.

I recommend draining and rinsing canned jackfruit

to get rid of the briny taste and then I simply

shred the pieces with two forks

to get that pulled meat texture.

To make my soup, I add a bit of oil to a sauce pan

with onion and garlic and saute until tender.

Then I add chopped jalapeno

and cook for another one to two minutes.

Once that is nice and fragrant,

I add tomato puree, fresh lime juice, chili powder,

paprika, cumin, and oregano and cook until bubbly.

Finally, I add some broth and my pulled jackfruit

seasoning to taste.

Bring your soup to a boil and then turn down the heat

to low and simmer for about 20 minutes.

The last component of this tortilla soup

is of course the tortilla strips.

These are so easy to whip up at home.

Just cut corn tortillas into thin strips

about a quarter of a inch wide, add to a wire baking rack,

spray with cooking spray and season

with a bit of salt and pepper.

Let those bake in the over until crispy

and beginning to brown and you've got

a craveably crunchy topping for your soap.

When I'm ready to serve, I put a handful

of baked tortilla strips in the bottom of the bowl,

pour in my jackfruit soup and top

with some fresh avocado and extra tortilla strips.

This soup is so tasty and satisfying.

The perfect way to warm up on a cold day.

The jackfruit adds some bulk and has loads

of satiating fiber and I love how every bite

is bursting with flavor after simmering

with all of those seasonings.

Okay, one more to go and it's comfort soup at its finest,

chicken noodle soup.

I add oil, onion , garlic, carrots,

and celery to a large pot and cook until tender.

Then I add basil, oregano, a bay leaf,

salt and pep, and broth.

Bring to a boil and then cover

and simmer for six to eight minutes.

Get rid of that bay leaf and then add egg noodles

and cover and simmer for another eight minutes.

You could use any noodles, I just love the taste

and shape of the egg noodles in this soup.

Once the noodles are cooked al dente,

I stir in some chopped chicken which I used

from leftover rotisserie chicken meat.

Holy moly, this is hearty but light

with so many great flavors and textures.

It's got that nostalgic chicken noodle feel and taste

without all of the sodium the store

bought varieties tend to have.

I know you're gonna love it.

And that is my compilation of soups for fall inspiration.

Let me know which is your favorite in the comments

and remember, all of the recipes are in the free eBook

available to download in the description of the video.

Thanks so much for watching,

I've got more fall and holiday content coming.

I will see you next week and remember,

it's all a matter of mind over munch.
