Youtube daily report Nov 24 2018

This is going to be fun.

Ive done so many Urban Legends videos now and you know what makes some better than others

- if theres some truth to them.

Suddenly - its not just a made up story, its something that could be true - and that doubt

- that slight bit of uncertainty - well I think that makes it even scarier.

These are 10 of the very best.

My name is Danny Burke and this is the Top 10 Urban Legends That Are Actually True.

Starting off at number 10 we have Cropsey[a].

Some of you guys may have heard me talk about this one before.

Its the story of the boogeyman of Staten Island.

He was rumored to be a homicidal maniac who escaped from a mental asylum.

He would hunt for children and drag them back to the ruins of a hospital where he lived.

Witnesses always said he had a hook for a hand.

The stories were meant to scare kids - perhaps even told to them by parents who wanted them

to be more wary of strangers.

Then, in the 1972, the boogeyman became real.

New broke of a real life Corpsey man called Andre Rand.

He was a former janitor at the local school for mentally disabled children.

Rand was arrested in connection with the disappearance of Jennifer Schweiger, a 12 year old girl

with Down Syndrome.

He lost his job over the case and move into the now abandoned school he used to work in.

He was eventually convicted of murder and police connected him to the disappearances

of 4 other children, no bodies were ever recovered.

Moving on to number 9 now we have The Bunny Man[b].

I talked about this legend in my West Virginia video.

The story goes that in 1904, a mental asylum closed down.

While transferring inmates to a new facility, one of the buses crashed.

Most of them were killed or captured - but one escaped - the Bunny Man.

He would roam the land hunting rabbits and then leaving their carcases for the locals

to find - sometimes they would be hanging from a tree or bridge.

Although there are parts of the story that don't add up - something strange happened

in 1970.

A couple driving their car at night had an axe thrown through their window by a man in

a bunny suit.

2 weeks later, another man found an ax wielding guy in a bunny suit chopping wood nearby who

was gone by the time police arrived.

Are they linked?

Is there more truth to this than meets the eye?

Moving on to number 8 we have The Body Under The Bed[c].

Ever since hotels and motels became a common part of society - people have swapped stories

about guests who discovered mattress they were sleeping on was either above or even

stuffed with the body of a murder victim.

A grizzly tale for sure, but one that was confined to the realms of myths and legends.

Then, in 1999 - a case in Colorado occurred involving a couple who slept on a mattress

containing a body.

The police kept the details of that close to their chest, but 2010, a huge story broke

when guests at a Memphis motel discovered they had been sleeping above the body of Sony

Millbrook - a missing person at the time.

Her boyfriend LaKeith Moody was convicted of the crime.

Many people were horrified, and vowed to give their hotel beds a closer inspection next

time …

Next up at the number 7 spot we have The Maine Robber[d].

For many years, visitors to Maines North Pond area reported that something strange was going

on there.

Time after time, people reported that things were going missing.

Not just one person, one time - many people, many times.

Batteries and food would vanish from cabins while flashlights disappeared from camping

tents.

People thought that either the Earth itself was swallowing it up or there was a thief

at work.

It turns out, they were right - in 2013, a game warden discovered Christopher Knight

living alone in the woods.

For 27 years, he had been watching hikers, canoeists and other visitors to the area.

When taken in for questioning, Knight admitted he was responsible for around 40 robberies

a year.

I mean, stealing batteries is one thing - but I think feel like you were being watched all

those years and then being proven right?

- Thats pretty creepy …

At the number 6 spot now we have The Falling Lawyer[e].

Ive lived in Toronto for a few years now and Ive personally heard this story floating around

- but I never thought it was true - until now.

They say that years ago, there was a lawyer who loved to show off how strong his office

windows were in his building that overlooked the city.

Every time someone came to visit, he would take a long run up - jump - and hurl himself

in the window.

Sure enough, the window would remain intact - although well never know if this impressed

his visitors.

Well, this lawyer was real and his name was Garry Hoy.

He was a senior partner at his firm with an office on the 24th floor.

On July 9th 1993, some Law Students came to visit.

He took his usual leap at the window but this time, after years of being weakened - it smashed.

Garry plummeted to his death - and the improbable story became somewhat of a local myth …

Next up at number 5 we have the Pueblas Secrets[f].

For many years, longer than people can even remember - the people of Puebla in Mexico

have talked about the tunnels - secret tunnels that were built under the city by the Spanish

Conquistadors in the 1500s.

Its been almost half a millennia since then, and the stories became legend.

People looked, but they found nothing - the tunnels became a myth - something to scare

the kids into believing there was a dark maze of caverns beneath them.

In 2014, construction workers were in the middle of an urban remodeling project when

they stumbled upon an old tunnel.

Surely the legends werent true - the Puebla History Center took over the site to investigate

and yes, it was the fabled tunnels people had spoken about.

They determined the tunnels were built in 1531, right after the city was founded.

Members of the Catholic church used the tunnels to transport treasure and other property in

and out of the city without people knowing about it.

Parts of the tunnels are now open to the public, giving you the chance to walk through the

dark halls of an urban legend that came true …

Coming in at number 4 now we have The Alligators[g].

I talked about this one in our New York Urban Legends video.

Many years ago in New York, people would say that there were alligators in the sewers below

the city.

They said a young boy once flushed his pet alligator down the toilet.

Years later, he reached into the sewer grate to retrieve a lost baseball.

At that moment, a fully grown alligator leapt up from below and ripped off his arm - the

same alligator he had flushed away.

Many people dismissed the whole story, alligators in New York?

How crazy.

However, in 1959, Teddy May, the commissioner of New York during the time of the rumours,

wrote about the alligators in his book.

He said that he and his inspectors did find alligators in the New York sewers in 1935,

they were up to 2ft inside.

It took 2 years for them to clear them all out, more than enough time for the facts to

get blurred with fiction …

Moving on to number 3 we have have The Dog Boy[h].

For many people in Arkansas, they know the stories of the dog boy.

Kids swap stories of a werewolf like man who roams around the town of Quitman.

Some even say theyve seen him - many of them might not know that the story is based on

real life.

Gerald Bettis was born in Quitman in 1954.

By the time he was a young boy, the neighbours called him evil - they said he liked to capture

stray animals and torture them in twisted experiments.

As he got older, he turned on his parents - tormenting them until, at the age of 27,

his dead was found dead in his home.

The newspapers said it was illness but others said it was murder.

Berris then kept his mother in the house until she was placed in protective custody.

His mother testified against him and he was given life in prison, where he died a few

years later.

They say that his spirit still haunts that house - and that he's often seen roaming the

area as a ghost on all fours, with shaggy hair like a dog.

At the number 2 spot now we have Charlie No Face[i].

Some of you may have heard me talk about this one in my Pennsylvanian video.

Charlie no face is the story of a boy called Charlie who once got electrocuted while climbing

an electric pole to try and see into a birds nest.

He was horrifically disfigured, his face has practically melted off, eyes, nose, mouth,

one of his ears and one of his arms - all gone.

It also turned his skin a sickly green.

Somehow, he survived and lived out his life in the small town, rarely showing his face

to the other locals.

People would share the story of Charlie No Face but because nobody saw him, the story

began nothing more than an urban myth.

But it wasnt - the story was actually true - except for the name.

Charlies real name was Raymond Robinson.

He was friendly to people whenever they did see him, and wasnt responsible for the many

hauntings associated with the legend …

And finally at number 1 we have Polybius[j].

You may remember this from my Video Game Urban Legends video.

Polybius was the name of an arcade game which kids in Portland got addicted to in 1981.

Whenever they were forced off, they felt nauseous, stressed or even had seizures.

Some people noticed the game was being serviced a lot more than usual - instead of once a

month, Polybius was being checked by men in black suits every week.

They would copy its hard drive, leave the money and be gone until the next week.

People believed that they were from the CIA and that Polybius was all part of a mind control

programme that sent subliminal messages to the players.

While a lot of this is debatable, there really was a kid who got sick during an arcade marathon

contest in Portland in 1981.

A few days later, federal agents really did seize a load of arcade cabinets - they said

it was all part of a major gambling bust.

This is where people differ in opinion, some say that the story of Polybius was inspired

by the events, others say the events are proof of the story …

Urban Legends and truth - together, they make something better than either of them.

Is this the start of a series?

Shall we look at more creepy urban legends that have their stories rooted in true events?

Or shall we just keep doing out world tour of urban legends?

Is this going to split the viewers in half?

Well find out in the comments section, thanks for watching as always guys, my name is Danny

Burke and Ill see you all in the next video!

Delivery of my 800 hp Ferrari in POV ! 812 Superfast ! - Duration: 24:42.

Today is a very special day for me.

I'm receiving my new Ferrari.

I will show you everything as seen through my eyes.

Livio, how are you doing?

Very well, how are you?

Today is going to be a good day, I think.

Super. First of all, welcome to Francorchamps Motors.

I think it's a big day for you, today.

Absolutely.

A very special occasion.

I am shaking from excitement.

I can tell! First we have a small surprise for you.

There are some people here already

waiting to see you

and share the experience with you.

Small surprise!

Have you seen it? It's here?

For most of us, we don't even know what it is.

I think it'll be a Ferrari.

OK, it's definitely a Ferrari.

If you want to find out what model. Follow me.

Right this way.

Ha, it's a Laferrari.

You really think it's a Laferrari?

We'll find out soon enough.

OK, what color?

Red. As you can see.

Make a prediction.

I would say rosso corsa or yellow.

Orange wasn't possible, right?

Yellow.

A wrap.

A little wrap for Nathan, of course!

White.

Black.

You think it's black?

Yes.

We wonder why.

Blue.

Red, a Ferrari has to be red.

Sure.

Alright, are you ready?

Yes.

Always.

I am ready...

...no, I'm not ready.

The best moment is right before.

It should just stay like this.

No need to see it.

Did you see the name? It's called SUPERPOG because it's an 812 Superfast.

Bravo.

Thanks.

The color is called Tour De France blue.

So it's an 812 TDF?

No. It's an 812 Superfast.

Nice try.

Here, speaking of the past.

What's that?

You have no idea?

No.

Ah, now I recognise him.

He's back.

MINIPOG, but the one from the POGLICE.

Perfect match.

He has found a new home.

MINIPOG is no longer an orphan.

I'm happy to finally be able to drive a Ferrari again.

A new one, but without forgetting the previous one.

All the beautiful moments we had with the POGLICE.

I'm moving on.

Moving on to the amazing front side

and what a bonnet it is!

The size of that bonnet is ridiculous.

It has 800 horsepower

So it's the POGMOBILE with the most horses.

100% on the rear wheels.

It's infamous for being a difficult and dangerous to drive.

I agree.

Did you know that I've never driven the 812?

I bought it without testdriving it.

You are crazy! You are SUPERPOG!

The blue is OMG.

OMG.

Ah, finally.

Infinity war can begin.

Who arrives at Ferrari in a... Lamborghini!

That's bad!

Don't look.

How rude!

Mr Soul, you are late!

Yeah, work.

How are you?

Alright, where is it?

This looks a bit like an 812.

She's fabulous.

Congratulations. Really, she's beautiful.

SUPERPOG! Excellent plate!

It's madness!

It's a shame that you can't smell it through the video.

That new car smell. Fresh leather.

It's almost like a Viper.

Hush!

You don't like it?

Honestly.

Frankly, I'm not a Ferrari guy, this here though...

Well this is...

Stop bugging me guys.

Since 2018, we have a small identification plate,

that lists the exact specifications of the car.

all the options that are on the car.

As you can see, quite a few of options

on this car and that allows us to verify

which options are stock, even when it changes from owner.

Ah, OK.

I have a stupid question, sorry...

But is it a V8, A V12 or a V10?

It's a V12!

Alright.

Obviously it's a V12!

How embarrassing. You really don't know a thing about Ferrari?

Nothing at all!

Look at this, even the camera case is in carbon fiber.

Perfect, a front camera.

There isn't much space to fit a licence plate.

It's discreet!

How do you open the bonnet?

Just over here, below.

There is a small lever.

A small red lever.

I'll let you discover it.

I found this here.

Just pull it towards you.

That's it.

OK.

I feel something. Here.

Ohlala

6,5 liter V12, naturally aspirated.

800 horses.

The big dog from Ferrari.

The key represents the engine, it's shaped like it.

Amazing.

This engine is incredible.

It looks like a heart, a red heart with its arteries.

My bad.

No, really, it looks like a heart with arteries.

Wait, I have the key so it must be there.

No.

It's here somewhere.

It's crazy.

The LEDs on the steering wheel!

First time you have a car that has more than 800 horses.

Well, exactly 800.

Motor in front but rear wheel drive.

True.

You'll have fun!

It's different than the other POGMOBILES.

I admit I have a thing for cars with a mid engine V8.

Are you ready?

Wanna hear it?

Yes!

Oh.

Go POG, go POG!

I should stop, before I trigger the smoke detectors!

I'll take it outside.

It's fierce!

It has a Formula 1 vibe.

What a sound!

Go pick up the frames that have fallen off.

I got goosebumps.

Let's get in the trunk.

You open it like this and just film.

Like this, the extension of the roof.

Look it's too beautiful.

It's a Ferrari.

Sitting in the trunk of an 800 hp car.

It's tempting.

Livio, are you okay? No heartache?

It's painful to watch, for me.

I'll be careful.

Another plus, I can close it from here.

Well, let's get out of here.

First test drive!

You okay back there?

All good!

You feel everything here.

Wanna go for a careful drive?

(Joking. I didn't left.)

Let's see. I simply press here and it's off.

How do open this?

There is so much room in there that you can even put on a safety jacket.

You are a magician!

Right in the middle.

OK, very good.

As you can see

everything is on the steering wheel, so you can concentrate on the road.

Almost everything is on here, the indicators are here.

The manettino switch.

If you turn it up

to Race mode for example,

the electronics intervene less.

Traction control, stability control and all those things.

When you switch it to one of the last two options.

The electronics switch off completely and the car is a lot more playful.

You can use the car in the rain and even snow

if you switch it to wet,

it'll have better grip.

Turning indicators, left side, right side.

Here you have the central control with different elements,

the automatic mode, you can switch from manual to automatic at any time.

Here, to put it in reverse.

So, Reverse.

Press the brake pedal and go.

The backup camera right here.

To put it in first...

OK, first.

As you can see on the display.

To put it in neutral, pull the two paddle shifters simultaneously, as usual in a Ferrari.

Exactly, just pull both sides.

We can do it if you want.

There you go, neutral.

The passenger display over here. It's a second screen, for the passenger.

It displays information on this of the car

You can switch from one version to another by pressing here.

Let me show you. Here it is, I think this one is best mode.

This is the rev-counter that is duplicated from your side.

Also on display, the speed and current gear.

whether you are in first, second, or third and the driving speed.

That's awesome, I've never seen this in a car.

It's great for the passenger to have a dashboard like the driver.

It's nice to see what speed you are going.

It also shows multimedia and navigation

and everything about music.

Perfect, the key can be put here.

Perfect, you won't forget the key so easily anymore.

And it looks good.

You have the colored straps here,

to strap down the luggage.

Exactly, otherwise your luggage might slide around.

This way they don't fly all over the car.

The luggage will match exactly,

it will have the same stitching as the rest of the interior.

They are delivering straight from Italy?

Absolutely.

It should be soon.

So, the speakers.

The speakers are here and as you can see it's the JBL system.

Eight speakers are standard.

You get twelve with the optional JBL sound-system.

I really like this cockpit.

It's changed in the right direction, nice evolution.

The mixture of materials, carbon fiber, leather, perforated leather,

the stitching, very original.

You can really notice the high quality of materials,

high grade finishing, a big evolution.

Here as well, it's super beautiful!

It's nice to touch.

The famous Cavallino embroidery. I think it's an option as well.

That's an option too. It's best to match it with the other colors.

Here, on your car, you have the red stitching the red Cavallino.

The brake calipers are also red.

Alright POG, let's take care of the administration.

It is always delivered with two keys.

This is the identification plate that will allow you,

to order another key if you lose one.

Some extra information with the invoice.

The question everyone is dying to ask, "How much does it cost?", let me tell you.

The car costs € 400.000 , including € 100.000 worth of options.

Now you know everything, I'm not keeping anything from you.

I have another small surprise for the occasion.

We decided to give you a little present.

Gifts are the best moment.

we have this carbon fiber keychain for you.

It complements all the carbon fiber that is on the car.

Thanks a lot!

My pleasure POG.

And enjoy your car.

Enjoy!

No doubt, let me get over there and I'm out of here.

Some followers passed by.

They saw the cars and realised something was going on.

They came in and here we are.

You are the best POG!

You are crazy!

You okay?

Yes...

Wanna start it up?

How do I do that?

Go ahead! Get in there.

Do you have a driver's license?

No.

You don't have your license!? Whatever, doesn't matter.

You can put the key away, you don't need it.

Press "Start Engine".

For how long?

Until it starts.

Are you ready?

Eh?

Put it in first gear and drive a bit forward.

How do I do that?

Flip it "UP" while braking.

And you'll see, it'll go in first.

Gently press on the accelerator, very carefully.

We will guide you.

Still fine?

It's okay?

So?

It's a crazy machine!

Have you ever driven a car?

No, never.

You've never driven before, this was the first time?

Congrats dude.

Everything OK?

Yeah, I'm good, thanks!

My pleasure.

I haven't even driven my parent's Golf.

I'm speechless.

I'd like to suggest a small change.

Your car is dark blue.

There is a lot of red accents all over.

So I bought you a little present.

Who wants to open it for POG?

Here you go, open it.

You shouldn't have Soul.

Haaa

Wow, yes yellow wasn't right!

Let me give you a hug.

I prefer red, it's better.

I agree.

It's true, better this way.

I pass the passion on to you, perhaps you will pass it on as well.

Maybe one day you'll buy one too and you'll do the same.

I can't believe it.

He loved it.

Tell him what it's like to drive it because he hasn't driven it yet.

What's it like?

This is the little Ferrari tool.

For the center caps?

Like this.

Press it hard.

Ow , It didn't work

Twist it first.

And now, lets put in the red.

So it begins. As soon as you leave the showroom you start personalizing it.

Damn, that V10!

Bye Soul, see you next time.

And don't come back here in a Lamborghini.

Did you see it from here? The light is super beautiful. Look at the blue.

That thing is going to burn...

Here, this will do.

If it doesn't catch on fire.

The first time driving my car, I'm wearing my cape.

OK GO, SUPERPOG, Start!

I love it.

I didn't do a real acceleration, but I love it.

Wow, she is tail-happy.

The violence!

So violent.

I am traumatised.

In one single acceleration,

she really wiggles her tail and the steering is ultra sensitive.

Incredibly light steering, you don't feel the weight of the car at all.

What a violent machine and that high-pitched sound, it has everything.

I am traumatised.

I am traumatised.

Damn it threw out her ass! She's truly scary this car.

Ah, it makes me happy.

Pure bliss.

It truly is a massive bonnet.

A never ending bonnet.

The cape is on fire I think.

Look at this hole!

It melted!

Oh damn. Well, she can still cover the beast.

Alright super, let's go!

A bit of Veuve Clicquot.

Thank you all for being here, even the impromptu ones.

It was nice to share the moment with all of you.

Welcome to this car.

Frankly I barely drove it, but I fell in love with it since the first acceleration.

She is perfect, she has everything you could wish for.

She is playful, very playful.

Thank you all.

Thank you my friends.

Women first, you want it?

Who wants to lick the car with me?

It's good. It's good. It's good.
