Review: NEW S'well Bottle Tumbler & Traveler + GIVEAWAY! - Duration: 6:31.

Hey, everyone! I'm Kate Schwanke and welcome to my Channel.

I am super excited to be teaming up with S'well to bring you guys this review today!

I will be review their new Tumblers and their Travelers.

These are their newest additions to their brand.

And they are awesome and I cannot wait to talk about them.

And you will want to wait until the very end of the video for a little something extra.

So, let's get started!

I'm actually a huge S'well fan!

I've been using their bottle for about 2 years now, and they are my go-to bottle anytime

I leave the house with a drink.

First bottles I want to talk about are their brand new Tumblers, so let's have a good close

up look at those!

These are S'wells new Tumblers!

These are triple-walled, vacuum insulated tumblers and they feature a no-sweat grip,

and a very thin rim for easy drinking.

And these are very light-weight, which I really love.

And all S'well Bottles are BPA free and reuseable, which is awesome.

These currently come in the 10oz size and the 18 oz size, and I have a 10oz here in

the Yellow-Gold, which is perfect for the Holidays.

It's really pretty, it has a very stainless steel look, but it is a shiny yellow-gold,

so it's really pretty.

And then I have here, this is one of my favorite ones, this is the Calacatta Gold, and it is

more of like a rose-gold color, which is really really pretty with a white background, but

there's a lot of pinks in there, this is a gorgeous gorgeous color!

As I mentioned, this is the 18oz, and this is the 10oz, so hopefully you guys can see

the difference in size.

It's pretty big.

Also, I want to talk about their new packaging.

This is their new packaging.

It is a solid band, that goes all the way around.

It has all of the information about your cup.

And you pretty much just lift the tab here and it pulls right off.

So, that is their new packaging.

You guys may remember that S'well has in the past, provided cardboard tubes for their bottles,

but they are no longer using those in an effort to be more Green.

So S'well is all about minimizing the amount of plastics and waste going into the landfills

each year, so this step that they've taken really helps.

Their bottles and their new products will be packaged using this band here and they

will be shipped in a box with tissue paper.

So, that is a little bit different than they usually package, as you guys know, but I've

received my bottles with no dings, or anything, so they are doing a great job of packaging

with enough tissue paper to protect your bottles, so don't worry.

These new Tumblers will allow you to use them at work or at home without a lid, or you can

take them on the go with a stainless steel lid that is sold separately.

And the lid will have an opening so you can use a straw with it, which I know a lot of

people will love, because, like me, you can use it to drink your iced coffee!

So, that's great!

And you can use these with a variety of different liquids.

You can use coffee, wine, juice, soda, beer: your choice.

And these will keep your drinks hot or cold much longer than your average tumbler.

So something really great about...This is the one that we've been using a lot recently,

my husband actually used this and he put in hot coffee and then we put in a whole ton

of ice, and it actually kept the ice in there for 4 hours without a lid on!

And that was with hot coffee, so I think that's amazing.

I purchased this one myself, so, I can honestly say this works awesome and my husband and

I were both really, really impressed with how well this kept everything cold.

So, next, I want to talk about my new favorite bottles ever!

And that is their Travelers!

These are amazing, guys!

I love them.

These are S'wells new Travelers.

These will keep your drinks cold for up to 24 hours and hot for up to 12 hours!

Just like S'wells other bottles.

And they feature an airtight lid, let me show you guys.

I love these new lids.

You may notice mine

has

a little

bit of dampness in it because I did have some water earlier.

But this really does keep your stuff nice and cold or hot when you're on the go.

I've had ice last in my bottles for a good portion of the day when I've used these.

And my water stays cold all day long.

So these are amazing and I love the new wider mouth, I'll show you guys one more time.

It makes it a lot easier to put ice in.

I know a lot of people with the other S'well bottles, that was one of their complaints,

is that you can't put larger ice cubes in there.

These you can do that, so S'well has solved that issue if that was your issue.

And personally, it just makes it so much easier and faster for me to be able to take this

on the go, so I love that.

And S'well actually has three different sizes for these right now.

They have 12oz, which is this one here.

They also have an in-between size, the 16oz, which I do not have.

And then they have the 20oz.

And I have the 12 oz here in Moonstone, which has a really cool feel to it.

And I just love the white, it goes with everything.

And then they have the 20oz here in Flare, which is a gorgeous Ruby Red.

And if you're wondering what the difference is in width on the bottom of these bottles

vs. a regular S'well bottle, I wanted to bring out my 17oz and compare it to the 12oz for

you.

So, here is my 17oz and I'll move my larger one out of the way.

You will notice that the 12oz has a wider bottom to it, so hopefully you guys can see

that well.

The other S'well bottles are thinner on the bottom making them a little bit easier to

put into your diaper bag bottle pockets and things like that.

I'm at the chalet with Noémie, Guillaume, William and Théo.

The chalet is truly the perfect opportunity to be surrounded by friends and family.

Your loved ones are important, as you'll see in the video today.

Plus, I gave them a challenge, and you'll see that it's really funny. So stay tuned for the video.

I'm happy to be with you today. I like to be with my close friends, especially around the fire.

It's perfect.

I don't know if in your life your loved ones are important for you.

But it is for me. I love to talk with them and tell a bunch of stories.

Today, this is what we'll do.

To talk with them about easy or difficult situations, I find that it lets me let some pressure off.

I don't know if normally you feel better when you talk to your loved ones.

It's true, to feel listened to.

Yes, to have important people in your life.

The more tools you have to face difficulties and manage your stress,

the more you'll avoid alcohol, other drugs or gambling as a mean to escape reality or negative feelings.

So we're at the chalet, all together.

Do you have someone in your entourage who you really trust, who you know you'll always be able to turn to?

Personally, I'm very close with my friends.

I think it's important to have people that you can talk to about situations, not situations that are super difficult,

but situations that can be difficult, where you need to get your feelings out.

For example?

Let's say you have a problem with your family or your partner.

It's fun to be able to talk to them about it, and to get feedback from them.

Like an outside angle.

That's it. Their way of seeing things, perhaps they've also experienced it,

so they can help you process it. As soon as you talk to them, you're like, I'm not the only one who's experienced that.

That's it. It's really fun.

What?

Noémie, do you have a friend you can turn to when you're going through a difficult situation.

I'd say that most of the time it's really to my boyfriend, because he's really the person who I feel the closest too.

I mean it's not everybody that has relationships in life that are stable,

but sometimes these relationships can even turn out to be a source of stress, or of challenges.

I'd say that my number one priority has always been my pet.

Me too!

Right now, I have a dog. He's a ball of energy.

I'd say there's nothing more positive than the mood of an animal because they live to be happy, right?

They exude happiness.

Truly. Truly.

And you, Guillaume, is there somebody who makes a difference in your life?

Definitely. It's my mother's boyfriend, his name is Jean-Yves.

He entered into my life and changed tons of things.

Now, I find myself in the Himalayas, or in the desert, or in a situation where I'm not afraid.

But before, I had tons and tons of fears.

I was afraid of the dark, afraid of frogs.

Jean-Yves changed my life so much because one night he said, "Guillaume, you're afraid of the dark.

We'll remove all your fears, one by one. You'll see that you'll be stronger."

That's so cute!

We went out into the woods, like this.

He said there are no thieves, there are no bandits.

And I learned that they weren't waiting out in the cold for me.

So this fear was eradicated from my life.

And since that time, there's a trust that was established between us.

The funny thing is that there's a big difference in age, but he's the person I can call when I'm happy.

And he'll be happy for my successes. But he'll also listen to me when I'm having difficulties.

So he's always not far from the telephone.

It's really cute, he's like the whole package.

Yes, exactly, he's like that. And I'm very happy to have him in my life.

Anyway, you're lucky.

Sometimes the people we know, our loved ones,

sometimes it may be them who encourage us to drink or do drugs.

If you want to say no, there are a ton of ways to do so.

We don't want to disappoint them because we love them and we're not really sure how they'll react.

But there's tons of ways to say no. It's a very simple word.

So I have a challenge for you guys: do you feel like telling me your best way to say no?

But with humour. Noémie and I will judge who tells the best joke.

Now that the jury is ready, we begin with the jokes for saying no.

Cover Cropping on Vegetable Beds: Novel equipment and ideas - Duration: 7:49.

Cover crops like these are amazing in their ability to improve soil health and

provide lots of other services.

But to do these good things they need to be planted correctly and managed carefully

and having the right equipment is critical

I'm going to be talking about some innovative cover cropping equipment

that we've been developing and dreaming about developing

but let me start off with a story of my first experience planting a winter cover crop

in the organic research farm that I started managing several years ago

The soil here was in bad shape and needed lots of cover cropping to turn it around

So when I planted that first cover crop this is the grain drill that I used

And I remember how good it felt as I pulled that drill back and forth across the

field planting the cover crop and thinking about all the good things that I was doing for the soil

Now after I'd planted about half of the field

I figured I better go and check to see how much seed was left in the hopper

Well, unfortunately one side was completely empty and I had no idea where in the field the seed had run out

Now I didn't want my first planting to look like I didn't know what I was doing

You know, with big gaps where the weeds would grow

so I reloaded the grain drill with seed and I replanted the whole field again

I've learned a lot about cover crops since then and I'm now much more

comfortable with the various features on standard planters

but I've also come to realize that these planters and a lot of the other tools that we use to manage the cover crops

have their limitations and aren't always well-suited for the high value cropping systems that I work in

and I think this is part of the reason that cover crops aren't as widely used as they should be

So the novel system and equipment that I'm going to be focusing on

involves growing cover crops on beds

in the same row spacing that we use for many of our vegetables

Now there's lots of potential advantages of growing cover crops on beds

and I'll explain some of those after I show you

the modified planter that we used to plant that

So this precision belt seeder works really well

with round pelleted seeds

And it's been the standard planter for most of the lettuce industry for more than 50 years

It's a great planter because it accurately spaces individual seeds within a row

But we don't need that level of accuracy with a cover crop

and it wouldn't make economic sense to pellet irregularly-shaped cover crop seeds

The pelleting process is pretty expensive

So we remove the seed metering units

and we added these multi-purpose hoppers

that deliver the seed right down to the bed where it's needed.

Here we are planting the rye cover crop in two lines on four beds

and here's the field nine days after planting

Now the first potential advantage of cover cropping on beds

is that we use about sixty to seventy percent less seed

than with a standard planting arrangement

With a standard cover crop planted say with a grain drill

there would be several more seed lines per unit area

and this is important to shade the soil quickly and suppress weeds

but with a bedded cover crop we manage the weeds differently

So here we are rotary hoeing the cover crop

to uproot weeds that aren't as deeply rooted as the cover crop

We then like to follow this with a standard vegetable cultivator about a week later

and this helps to take out remaining weeds that may be in the furrow bottoms

or on the bed top and might have been missed by the rotary hoe

The cover crop then fills in the bed top and shades the furrows giving us a nearly weed free cover crop

that's still extremely productive

Now if the weather cooperates

we can take out several weed flushes during a single winter

and this really helps to reduce the weed seed bank

When the cover crop needs to be mowed

there are some real benefits to having it on beds

rather than having it in a standard unbedded arrangement

The wheel tracks of the tractor in a standard cover crop

push down the cover crop in front of the mower

and this can leave long unmowed strips through the field that are difficult to incorporate into the soil later

Now in contrast with a bedded cover crop

the wheels run in the bare furrow bottoms

and this allows us to cut the cover crop into smaller

and more uniform pieces

and also mow the cover crop closer to the soil surface

Now another potential benefit to cover cropping on beds

is that it allows us to control the growth of the taller cereal component in a legume cereal mixture

For example, with this rye-vetch mixture

the rye starts to flower before the vetch

and we can actually mow the rye seed heads off

in the upper canopy to prevent them from setting viable seed

and then let the vetch vines get a little bit more light

and grow a little longer to potentially fix more nitrogen

Let me now share some ideas of some innovative cover crop management strategies

and equipment that I've been dreaming about developing

Earlier this year I wrote a paper that addresses this complicated

question about cover crops and sustainability

And in that paper I described several different cover cropping strategies.. some new ones

probably the most novel idea involves extracting nitrogen rich juice from cover crop shoots

to use as a liquid fertilizer in subsequent vegetables

You might want to check out that paper and learn some more about that interesting idea

The juicing strategy involves harvesting cover crop shoots from beds

using a forage harvester like this

it would actually be pulling a trailer to catch all the harvested shoots

and then they would be processed

And as we've been experimenting with his forage harvester

I've been wondering about another way to use it that doesn't involve juicing

and this idea came to me when we were trying out the mower or the harvester after some broccoli

What really impressed me about it is that it cut the broccoli right at the bed top

and then lifted the residue off the bed top leaving it really clear

The bed top was actually so clear that it looked like you could plant your next vegetable right into it with almost no tillage

So we're going to try modifying the hood of this forage harvester so that the finely chopped material

that's pulled off the bed

can be channeled back down and into the furrows between the beds

leaving the bed top free of residue

We could then lightly strip-till the bed top if we needed to

and then plant our next vegetable and leave the residue in the furrow bottoms

as a mulch where it would decompose slowly and then provide a lot of other benefits

Now as you've probably figured out I like Legos

They inspire kids to be creative and also adults too

and as we develop new tools for cover cropping

I often feel like...

a kid with a lego set

it's a lot of fun seeing what you can come up with

So stay tuned as we continue working on innovative cover cropping equipment and strategies

I think these have got a lot of potential to increase cover crop adoption

and make the systems that I work in here far more sustainable

What's up everyone, how you doing?

Glad I could be here to host your hangover.

I wanna say, I'm extremely humbled

to be in front of so many of you.

You guys have spent so much

traveling here today.

So on behalf of Blizzard's

bank balance: thank you for what you guys have done.

Now, I've been at Blizzard for 15 years.

And I would describe it as

usually war-torn,

a place of conflict,

uhh, a place of little hope.

Working at Blizzard can actually be

very oppressive and fatiguing.

You kind of need a visual and a tonal break

from the oppressiveness, every so often.

So, Blizzcon is something that we really enjoy doing

it's one of our favorite things.

Uhm, so,

as you guys know, Blizzard has

uhh, a ton of great fantasy universes that we explore.

Diablo, Hearthstone,

Heroes of the Storm,

World of Starcraft,

et cetera.

Uhm, and I've seen some of the stuff

that we're going to reveal

for those games.

And honestly,

it looked kinda shitty, you know

But don't despair, because Overwatch

has some incredible stuff coming up.

Uhm, but it might be released

later than expected because

I spent a lot of

Blizzard resources

on a brand new, uhh,

second home

in Santorini, Greece.

God, I'm fucking rich

I just realized.

Heh, but uhm..

I often remember in the early years

at working at Blizzard

we had a really talented artist by the name of Ben Zhang

who, this was in uhm,

I think June of 2013

where he created this concept picture.

We, we started talking about

how we wanted Overwatch to play

and how we wanted Overwatch to feel.

And Ben made this image that I think really holds up today

This was almost like a guiding light image for us,

about the game that we wanted to create.

And I need to say this for our subreddit

so it doesn't implode,

no the hero in the center

is not the hero who you think it is.

Thank you for putting up with that.

Uhm,

I, I was preparing for this talk

and I, I took a moment

to study the fans of Overwatch

in particular the most

amazing cosplay that I've ever seen.

We all like different things,

we're all attracted to different things.

So I just wanted to say,

I'm happy to be with you today. I like to be with my close friends, especially around the fire.

It's perfect.

I don't know if in your life your loved ones are important for you.

But it is for me. I love to talk with them and tell a bunch of stories.

Today, this is what we'll do.

To talk with them about easy or difficult situations, I find that it lets me let some pressure off.

I don't know if normally you feel better when you talk to your loved ones.

It's true, to feel listened to.

Yes, to have important people in your life.

The more tools you have to face difficulties and manage your stress,

the more you'll avoid alcohol, other drugs or gambling as a mean to escape reality or negative feelings.

So we're at the chalet, all together.

Do you have someone in your entourage who you really trust, who you know you'll always be able to turn to?

Personally, I'm very close with my friends.

I think it's important to have people that you can talk to about situations, not situations that are super difficult,

but situations that can be difficult, where you need to get your feelings out.

For example?

Let's say you have a problem with your family or your partner.

It's fun to be able to talk to them about it, and to get feedback from them.

Like an outside angle.

That's it. Their way of seeing things, perhaps they've also experienced it,

so they can help you process it. As soon as you talk to them, you're like, I'm not the only one who's experienced that.

That's it. It's really fun.

Noémie, do you have a friend you can turn to when you're going through a difficult situation.

I'd say that most of the time it's really to my boyfriend, because he's really the person who I feel the closest too.

I mean it's not everybody that has relationships in life that are stable,

but sometimes these relationships can even turn out to be a source of stress, or of challenges.

I'd say that my number one priority has always been my pet.

Me too!

Right now, I have a dog. He's a ball of energy.

I'd say there's nothing more positive than the mood of an animal because they live to be happy, right?

They exude happiness.

Truly. Truly.

And you, Guillaume, is there somebody who makes a difference in your life?

Definitely. It's my mother's boyfriend, his name is Jean-Yves.

He entered into my life and changed tons of things.

Now, I find myself in the Himalayas, or in the desert, or in a situation where I'm not afraid.

But before, I had tons and tons of fears.

I was afraid of the dark, afraid of frogs.

Jean-Yves changed my life so much because one night he said, "Guillaume, you're afraid of the dark.

We'll remove all your fears, one by one. You'll see that you'll be stronger."

That's so cute!

We went out into the woods, like this.

He said there are no thieves, there are no bandits.

And I learned that they weren't waiting out in the cold for me.

So this fear was eradicated from my life.

And since that time, there's a trust that was established between us.

The funny thing is that there's a big difference in age, but he's the person I can call when I'm happy.

And he'll be happy for my successes. But he'll also listen to me when I'm having difficulties.

So he's always not far from the telephone.

It's really cute, he's like the whole package.

Yes, exactly, he's like that. And I'm very happy to have him in my life.

Anyway, you're lucky.

Sometimes the people we know, our loved ones,

sometimes it may be them who encourage us to drink or do drugs.

If you want to say no, there are a ton of ways to do so.

We don't want to disappoint them because we love them and we're not really sure how they'll react.

But there's tons of ways to say no. It's a very simple word.

So I have a challenge for you guys: do you feel like telling me your best way to say no?

But with humour. Noémie and I will judge who tells the best joke.

the first way no strings it'd be amazing if lifeless fair if the most qualified

tell you that light doesn't work that way but maybe it's not because of our

circumstances or the way the world is it's just the expectations we have I'm

sure you've heard the saying that if you stop expecting from other people that

you'll never be disappointed a very cynical approach to life at first but

I've come to realize that when you're not disappointed and when they don't

have strings attached to things that you're much happier let's think of

something small like giving a gift to a friend I remember years ago I was in an

extremely generous mood for a wedding I got an expensive gift for the bride

and groom all I was expecting it was just the little thank you I kept waiting

for my thank-you note kept waving and waiting and they didn't

get it I was so unhappy and I even said that's the last time I do something nice

for someone because I won't be appreciated

I had strings attached so that year a few years ago I was down in the dumps I

felt life wasn't fair I wasn't receiving in life what I expected so I let go of

the strings I did this on Facebook I would go on Facebook and I would see

people's birthdays I'd want to say happy birthday but I had this thought in the

back of my mind saying they won't say happy birthday back it's not worth it

don't do it I said no strange I just want to say

happy birthday I don't care if they say it back for one entire year every single

day I would go on Facebook I would send a birthday wish not expecting anything

in return a year went body was now my birthday I had seven times as many

birthday wishes than the year before needless to say I was overwhelmed but

how much people cared about me but I know in my heart that was because I

remove the strings I believe those promotions will come that special

someone will come all that appreciation will come when you remove the strings to

fully be happy you need to give fully and the only way to do that is with no

strangers wait number two stop trying to build the tallest building it may be

time to stop competing and start cooperating I think we all have a need

to be big shots to be somebodies that have people look at us and tell us how

wonderful one to be the tallest building in town maybe this comes from someone

who loses a lot but I felt competing to be very unfulfilling and maybe unhappy

I've come to realize that you'd be much happier if you stopped focusing on being

the tallest building and start focusing on building an empire

what I mean by this is building people up around you leaving us with a kind

work a word of encouragement a compliment to lend a helping hand to

paraphrase President Harry S Truman when you stop seeking credit for what you do

it's amazing what you can accomplish I'm here to say you'll be happier when you

start focusing on building other's life instead of yourself way number three

make time for play play isn't just for kids it's for adults too and we need it

and that may be why you're unhappy you think everything's so serious for

example for me I did this book fantasy football it's supposed to be a game but

I had the win I had to cross the competition I'd spend 30 40 hours a week

researching and I would lose you need time for play especially something

creative maybe you like the beat maybe like to write maybe you want to make

videos like I'm doing don't have any goals don't have any objectives just do

it because you love it just do it to creatively express yourself and watch

how happy it makes you feel as you watch this video you look at my subscriber

count it's pitiful there may be no views on this thing but I love it it's the

greatest thing I'm doing I get up early in the morning and it energizes me

I'm so excited throughout the day because I make time for play

next way be like a spider did you know that if a spider has extra prey in its

web that it'll let it go and what if we had that in our lives if we just

accepted the bare minimum that we needed all the experiences good bad and ugly

just took them as they were just enough to make it through the day that's the

mistake I've been making in my life is I was one life to be better I was wanting

more out of life and I failed to realize that I had everything I needed to equip

me for the day and to face the challenges that lay ahead of me and so

do you but be like a spider don't take more than you need take only what you in

the last way embrace being unfinished as promised

here's the problem I was telling you about

can you believe how big this cube is I'm oh man this might be the greatest lesson

I've ever learned I've always looked at your happiness like a puzzle that was

almost impossible to solve then everything needed to be complete

you needed to be with that special someone you needed to have that job of

your dreams you needed to be happy but life just doesn't make sense sometimes

sometimes you achieve what you want and when you do you're still not happy

you're always looking for what's missing in it you might waste your life waiting

for your circumstances the Chamber's waiting for that person to come into

your life waiting for that opportunity they'll likely pass you by to look back

at your life I think I've wasted my life what if you stop believing that this

puzzle had to be complete to be happy and started looking at this incomplete

puzzle has a reason to get up in a more as a reason to strive does the reason to

improve in all areas of your life my friend I'm starting to believe that this

incomplete puzzle is your greatest potential it's not your job to complete

it today it's your job to make turns in the right direction I believe you'll

have so much more happiness so much more energy when you embrace being incomplete

I have a feeling that our journey is incomplete I have so many fun exciting

2018 Ford F-150 Review: Whats New? - Duration: 7:19.

The 2018 Ford F-150 is here and with a mid-model refresh means that there are a lot of new

changes to touch on.

Without further ado, let's jump right in to some of the new aesthetic features.

The F-150 has gotten a facelift in the form of a new grille and headlight design.

The new grille design is inspired by the Superduty and features extended bars into

the headlight area where the new headlights wrap nicely around them, finishing off an aggressive

yet sleek design.

The taillights also get a slight redesign with upper and lower LED outlines where the

former had just one line.

The F-150's tailgate now either gets a stamped F-150 graphic on the lower trims or on the

higher trims a new horizontal appliqué noting the trims level and finished in a contrasting

chrome or black on the Raptor.

The engine lineup has changed for 2018 with the introduction of the 3.3 Liter Naturally

Aspirated V6.

Also slated for 2018 is the new and exciting Power Stroke Diesel.

The Existing 3.5 Liter EcoBoost in it's second generation is dialed up to 375 horse

power with a best in class 470 lb.ft. of TQ.

The 5.0 Liter V8 gives you 395 horses and the 400 lb.ft. of TQ that allows this engine

to deliver best in class payload.

The 2.7 EcoBoost has been revised and is also a smart fuel sipping option and the mighty

3.5 Liter twin turbo high output EcoBoost in the Raptor tops out the most versatile

and capable light truck lineup over any other manufacturer.

The new 10 Speed Automatic Transmission is now available on every engine sans the 3.3.

Compared with the 6-speed gearbox it replaced, the 10-speed delivers improved overall performance,

with enhanced acceleration at the low and mid ranges of the power band.

Features include optimized wide-span gear spacing coupled with drag-reduction actions

plus three overdrive gears.

What's more, you can choose from new selectable driving modes: Normal, Tow-Haul, Snow-Wet,

EcoSelect, and Sport.

All models also feature Auto Start-Stop technology that shuts off your engine at a stop thus

saving fuel and starts automatically when you release the brake.

This feature can be disabled at the push of a button and will not engage while towing,

using four-wheel drive or while in sport mode.

This generation F-150 has carried the lighter and stronger Aluminum alloy body for years

now but this is not household aluminum you find in your baking tins at home.

No this is heat treated and hardened aluminum alloy used in military and industrial applications.

Giving you a rust free, strong bodied truck that saves 700 pounds that in turn allows

for greater power to weight ratio, better fuel efficiency, and a higher maximum payload

and towing rating.

As a truck owner, you know you may find yourself off road and the F-150 is prepared for that

situation.

Shifting into four-wheel drive is as easy and turning the dial.

In the Lariat and up trim the truck will sense the need for four-wheel drive and switch over

automatically.

With the FX4 package you get an electronic locking differential, hill decent control,

off road tuned shock absorbers, skid plates, plus the available 360-degree camera will

help in those treacherous off road situations.

When the trail goes from a light romp in the woods to a high-speed desert chase there's

hope for you yet.

The 2018 Raptor carries over the same specs from 2017 with FOX Racing Shocks that allows

for up to 14 inches of travel, Twin Turbo power from the 3.5 liter high output EcoBoost,

and the Terrain Management System that includes normal, sport, weather, mud/sand, baja, and

rock crawl modes.

When it comes to the F-150's capability Ford has not been number one in truck sales

for 40 years running for no reason.

The best in class payload and tow ratings and exclusive features make the F-150 stand

head and shoulders above the competition.

The lane keeping system will alert you when you veer out of your lane with audible warnings

and a vibration on the steering wheel.

Adaptive cruise control with stop and go will allow you to set a cruising speed and set

distance to the vehicle ahead.

This system will automatically accelerate and brake to keep you preset speed and distance

and even bring you to a complete stop and resume once traffic flows again.

2010-2017 F150 Wilwood Tactical Xtreme TX6R Front Brake Kit Review - Duration: 6:31.

The Wilwood Tactical Xtreme Front Brake setup in black would be an awesome choice for the

2010 and newer truck owners out there looking to step up into a legitimate big brake kit

for right around the $2,000 mark.

Now, besides offering a sizable upgrade in hardware and stopping power, truck owners

are also going to enjoy the visual improvement behind your favorite set of 20-inch wheels

or larger, thanks to the 2-piece rotor design in addition to these massive 6-piston calipers

in black.

Now, traditionally brake installs would be a walk in the park for most truck owners out

there.

However, this kit will involve some safety wire work, which can be a slight pain in the

you-know-what if you're not familiar.

So, therefore I did knock this one up to a soft three outta three wrenches on the difficulty

meter, with a little bit more detail to come later on.

So, I like to joke that Wilwood makes up one-third of my holy braking trinity around the site

here, your other two members being Brembo, and also Baer.

Now, all three companies are gonna produce some killer components when looking to stop

your truck a little bit quicker, and all three are certainly gonna look a hell of a lot better

behind your factory or aftermarket wheels when compared to the factory braking components

you are replacing.

And let's be honest here, guys, yes brakes are a functional modification first.

However, I'm willing to bet a decent portion of truck owners looking at this kit are interested

in them from an aesthetic factor, mainly to look good behind your favorite set of wheels,

but of course also providing a serious bump in stopping power, and quite frankly there

is nothing wrong with that.

But on the other hand if you're looking at the Wilwood Tactical Xtreme Kit for its sole

purpose of pulling that big old truck down from speed a little bit more effectively,

then hang out with me for a little bit here and lets break these things down a little

further.

So, Wilwood developed the Tactical Xtreme TX6R Kit specifically for the truck, SUV,

and armored vehicle market, and when designing this kit they did so with extreme durability

and sustained high-heat capabilities in mind, as that's typically what you're gonna be concerned

with when getting these big, heavy trucks to stop quickly, but more importantly, more

consistently.

Now, in fact they did specifically engineer this kit to handle duties, stopping duties

rather, on trucks weighing up to 14,000 pounds.

Now, obviously that's a far cry from your run-of-the-mill F-150, but good to know for

the owners who do a lot of towing.

Now the TX6R kit that we have here is gonna feature two big stars, in my opinion.

First up you have the huge 15-inch GT60 curved vane rotor, and then next you have the massive

6-piston radial mount calipers.

Now, interestingly enough, guys, these GT60 rotors do feature a proprietary iron alloy

material that's carried over from the extreme duty military stuff.

So if you're thinking to yourself Wilwood just basically re-branded a Mustang kit for

the truck market, well you'd be completely out of line because that's certainly not the

case here with this particular option.

Now traditionally the two piece rotor is gonna way a lot less than your one piece cast iron

rotors, and will also help with heat dissipation as well, preventing that excess heat from

transferring to your hubs, and more specifically the wheel bearings.

Now this is due largely in part to the center section here, or the brake hat, which is made

out of aluminum, and this will be instrumental in preventing that heat transfer to your hub,

and at the same time also dropping some rotational mass as well.

And then you have these monsters.

Absolutely massive six-piston calipers providing you and your truck with a ton of clamping

force in addition to a very stout build.

Forged aluminum housing loaded with stainless steel pistons, six per caliper of course,

and then finally you got the high temp internal bore seals.

Everything, as you can see, has been finished off in a gloss black powder coat.

You got the Wilwood lettering on there as well.

A very sharp looking caliper.

If you wanted something that stands out a little bit more, you can find this exact same

kit, but with red calipers instead.

And if you really wanna go over the top be sure to check out the matching rears on the

But aside from the big flashy rotors and calipers, Wilwood also tosses in some brand new braided

stainless steel lines, and more importantly, their very capable BP-20 brake pad.

Now this pad is a little bit more aggressive than their basic street pad, which is known

as the BP-10, and has a wider temp range, which is good for the heavier trucks, especially

ones that might be doing some occasional towing.

Now it is very important to point out that in order to get these Wilwoods onto your truck

in the first place, you're gonna need to run a 20-inch wheel or larger, and that's pretty

much par for the course when you're looking to upgrade to a legit big brake kit like this.

Now, if you currently run a smaller wheel on your truck and you wanna upgrade your breaks,

but you don't wanna get rid of those wheels, your best bet is just to simply add a different

stock size rotor, maybe drilled and slotted, along with a more aggressive pad.

Otherwise, you're just simply gonna have to upgrade to a bigger wheel to make room for

the Wilwood kit, or something comparable.

Switching gears, let's get to the install.

And as I pointed out at the very top of this video, I'm going soft three outta three wrenches

on the difficulty meter here, not because brakes are hard but because safety wiring

the bolts, connecting the brake hats to the actual rotor can be a little tedious and time

consuming, especially if you don't do it often.

So, with that in mind, figure a few hours from start to finish to get everything in

place and bled.

But aside from the safety wiring, it's pretty much brakes 1-0-1 here, guys, so just make

sure you have a decent socket set on hand, in addition to some open-ended wrenches, a

lift, jack and jack stands, and some fresh brake fluid, and an extra set of hands to

help you bleed the system when the installation has been completed.

Now, Wilwood does offer some very detailed instructions to help you along the way, and

make sure to follow the pad bedding process after the install has been completed for the

best performance of your new brakes, in addition to the best lifespan.
