Youtube daily report Nov 4 2018

I mean, was there ever any doubt that we wouldn't be back with a part 3 of this iconic list?

There are more and more dumb characters surfacing on the web every single day, so I don't

think we'll ever run out even if we wanted to, so this right here is the Top 10 Dumbest

Soul Calibur Characters Part 3.

Hey guys welcome back to Top 10 Gaming, I'm your host Lucy McPhee.

If you're a fan of dumb character customizations be sure to give this video a big thumbs up

and subscribe so you never miss another gaming vid.

Alright, let's jump in.

10 Waluigi Poor Waluigi, he always draws the short straw

in life, and this time is no different.

He's donning his classic white and purple attire, but this time, he has a nose even

Nicole Kidman in the hours would envy -- yep, I understand that's a reference only a select

few of you will get -- His nose looks like it fell off the snout

of a bird and someone super glued onto his face.

Those assholes!

9 Meat Man Now this is just a goddamn treat.

I don't even know where to begin quite honestly.

Let's start with the unfashionable flip-flops -- I get this meaty man is going for the beach

bod vibe, sporting some protective goggles to keep his peepers safe from those rays.

But what I really want to talk about is his inflamed dick.

Really.

I'm concerned about this guy, and the amount of viagra is presumably popping on a daily

basis.

His junk is made up of carrot and two tomatoes, you gotta get thos 5-a-day somehow.

Kill em with those veggies, kids.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7LmSjV1nCI (15:35)

8 Pink Guy We're getting straight to the point with

this one.

This is a guy, and he's pink.

Pretty simple.

He's donning some metal latex it appears, and just living his best pinky life.

Honestly, there's nothing more to say.

He's pink.

It's dumb.

7 Cuphead Everyone's new favourite video game character

makes an appearance here.

And oh boy, did he wrong someone, because he is all kinds of fucked up.

Seriously.

His face will haunt your dreams for a lifetime.

Sporting his classic red tapered shorts and smart black button up, this version of Cuphead

looks as though he made a deal with the devil, and his mission is to destroy all of humaity.

6 Kirby Oh Kirby, this loveable Nintendo character

has been wrong in SO many ways.

This pink little fella has been swallowed whole by this evil monstrosity and now he's

trying to break free.

You can see it in his eyes, the pain, the struggle, and his little mouth is screaming

for help.

Also, look at his little booties, so cute.

5 Carly Rae Jepsen It's times like these that I wish Kelly

Paoli were here.

Aka, the biggest Carly Rae J fan there is.

I would so love for her to witness this monstrosity of a creation.

Yes, a love to inflict visual pain on Kelly whenever I get the chance.

Also known as "Queen of the Gays", which I think is wrong on SO many levels, that title

clearly belongs to Madonna.

Carly Rae is sporting an iconic pride sweater, could just be a classic rainbow, but lets

go with pride.

She's also weilding a sword to slay all the haters, aka, me.

Come for me Carly, I dare you.

4 Ass Face Now this right here is a person with an ass

for a face.

Take a look.

Done?

Right, moving on.

3 Kylo Ren Kylo Ren, everyone's least favourite Star

Wars character...or is that just me?

Either way, I don't care.

He's dumb, right down to his oddly shaped torso, which will never EVER make sense to

me.

This user nailed every aspect of this goon.

From his shaggy hair, to his concerningly tight pants, to those infamous pecks.

This will haunt me in my dreams.

Han Solo is quaking from the grave.

2 California Raisin For those of you who don't know, The California

Raisins were a fictional rhythm and blues animated group from the 1980's.

I'm telling you this because I initially thought this was a bog standard raisin, boy

was I wrong.

This user nailed this customization.

From the glasses on the little raison head to his while gloves and little black and white

booties.

It's dumb yes, but cute as hell.

1 Pepisman I put this at number 1 for all you Pepis haters

out there.

I know there are A LOT of you.

Personally Pepis is my preference, so feel free to come for me in those comments.

The Pepsiman has always been dumb in my opinion, and also just plain terrifying.

He's a humanoid character sporting the classic Pepsi colours, and posing like he's ready

to fight off all those pepsi non-believers.

Were these dumb enough for you guys.

I mean, nothing can ever really top Bob Ross killing foes with a paintbrush, but I think

ass face and MeatMan really brought their A-games here.

Let us know in the comments below if there were any that we missed, and while you're

down there be sure to give this video a big thumbs up.

If you want to continue on with your gaming binge make sure to hit that playlist floating

above, and until next time, see ya later.

What just happened?

But, excuse me?

I was over there. Came over...

I was over there.

- In you hop. - Hello?

- No.

Everyone settle down.

Stay. Dougal, don't make me come in there.

Don't make me come down there.

Absolutely not.

Mr. Bingley!

Kowalski.

- Look.

Oh, no.

No, no, no. Don't... Don't shoot.

Don't shoot!

Right. For the last time, you pilfering pest,

Someone's robbing the bank!

Awfully sorry about that.

What the hell was that?

Nothing that need concern you.

Now, unfortunately, you have seen far too much.

If you wouldn't mind, if you just stand there,

this'll be over in a jiffy.

Mmm-hmm. Sure. Yeah.

- Sorry.

Bugger.

Why in the name of Deliverance Dane did you let that thing loose?

I didn't mean to. He's incorrigible, you see.

- Anything shiny, he's all over... - You didn't mean to?

- No. - You could not have chosen

a worse time to let that creature loose.

We're in the middle of a situation here.

I'm taking you in.

Taking me in where?

Magical Congress of the United States of America.

So you work for MACUSA.

What are you, some kind of investigator?

At least tell me you took care of the No-Maj.

- The what? - The No-Maj.

No-Magic. The non-wizard!

Oh. Sorry, we call them Muggles.

You wiped his memory, right?

The No-Maj with the case?

- Um... - Oh...

That's a Section 3-A, Mr. Scamander.

I'm taking you in.

CHARIVARI - Court métrage (FR) - Duration: 17:44.

I'm James, James Finnegan. Classy, right?

It sounds cool and popular.

Exactly what I need. It's part of the job, it sells well.

It's been seven years. Seven years since I've been dropped in this pack of wolves

and that I'm one of the alphas.

I stage your sad everyday life.

I tell you how to get dressed, eat, live, fuck, and exist.

This guy's Adi and if I had had a brother, it would have been him.

Twelve years ago, his father bet that cellphones would be tomorrow's computers.

He went to China and he nailed it.

So, with his offspring and his cash,

I thought we could make some business and get to a wicked deal !

Family ?

Not much here.

Nothing to brag about.

As for my sister, Nina, she spends her time trying to get attention.

Like many others, she'd do anything to prove she exists.

She has no limits and gets herself wasted anywhere,

anytime with whatever she can get, whatever what's next.

And myself in all that ?

Well, I glorify the useless.

I produce needs.

I provoke desire where there's none.

I am a dream peddler.

Only patron saint of this world? That good old Internet.

Virtuality is our motherland.

Big Brother watching upon us.

You bastards !

By trying to follow that pattern we've been taught…

We were born, us,

the Charivari generation, in this organized mess.

Looking quite low, what's up ?

What about the photos?

Which photos?

What do you mean which photos?

These ! Pics like that… Pics of my sister like that.

Are you alright?

That's just underwear, chill out bro!

I know it's underwear, what do you think, of course I…

Come on, keep it cool buddy.

On the internet, seriously?

That thing here,

that's what's missing when we're born,

The missing part of our new generation high-tech performant cerebrum.

The one that made us connect with our fellows…

Young wolves seeking new territories to conquer,

we're not raised to become altar boys but rather soldiers in the making.

Sleeping at work? Come on, we're serious here, we're here to work!

Let's get to it, hurry!

This reality knocks us out, annoys us,

worries us, we're afraid to grow up.

We'd rather decline,

become kids again. When everything was more simple.

When everything looked more beautiful.

Exasperated to be constantly sent back to this collective isolation,

we prefer running away,

towards a more and more artificial paradise.

It encourages you to surpass yourself, to dominate, and to end up crushed.

Welcome to the real world.

"I'm sorry ! Call me back, Nina have..."

In the end,

you're just trying to reach fulfillment through the brothel of the modern internet.

You're not taught to free yourself from your shyness

and your complexes.

Necessity to exist through others

when you're actually just an exchangeable product among million others.

I can't offer any solution, I got lost along the way.

Yet, I'm boiling in the inside.

I would've preferred to be the defective whatshisname of this wonderful generation.

To be voluntarily incompetent in that given task.

To have taken the oath not to be what I am expected to.

I would've liked to be the next-gen Tyler,

ready for anything to make that lost generation burst into a more loving one.

One day, a guy said…

… "Men and women don't find what they desire."

"They have to settle for desiring what they find."

What he forgot to predict

is that we wouldn't be taught how to settle for what we have.

The world is hungry. You're hungry!

Never satisfied, never full, always craving new idols, new images.

The problem is that we're not told about existing, but succeeding.

As the minstrel says: "I would've loved to be the accomplice to the crime of living and fleeing."

But in that pack, when you're not part of it, living well is only an option…

… surviving though, a necessity.

You are there, here and now, and you exist with me, not against me.

Yet, we persist in thinking the opposite.

[FFXIV] The Ayerie - Hidden 1.0 dungeon | SoaR - Duration: 14:59.

The year is 1572 of the sixth astral era.

Despite the rest of the realm's growing panic due to Dalamud's ever increasing presence

in the sky, Coerthas – more specifically Ishgard remains calm.

Dragon activity has plummeted to an all-time low.

That's good news to Ishgardians, who are still struggling with their dragonsong war.

For adventurers still locked out of Ishgard's safe walls, Coerthas was the only flavor of

Ishgard they'd get.

For the most part, it was a barren, hostile and cold mountainous wasteland.

As 1.0's development neared its end, it would become the home to two of the game's

most iconic dungeons.

Aurum Vale and Dzemael Darkhold.

What adventurer's didn't know was that Coerthas held more secrets than most regions

of Eorzea.

In addition to Aurum Vale and Dzemael, she'd also hold the Fesse and Hengr's Crucible.

And a third hidden dungeon.

The focus of this episode of SoaR.

Located in the Western Highlands, just north of The Lance was a cave opening guarded by

an Elezen named Hersande, who would tell any passing adventurers the following:

Dragon activity has lessened recently, leading us to believe that the creatures may be contriving

something ill, hoping that we grow complacent in the meanwhile.

Until we discover their motives, the Ayerie will remain off-limits to all but those authorized

by the Holy See.

The Ayerie…

That's how it's spelled in-game, and I don't know what it means.

None of my dictionaries has been of any particular help.

I'm tempted to say it's a misspelling of Aery, but the game says Ayerie, so that's

what we're going with.

Going off what the guard is telling us, there are "creatures" inside, most likely dragons,

that are planning something horrible, and the cave has been closed off until they've

figured out what's going on.

Now that's intriguing.

To make it even more interesting, the entrance had a double failsafe – a lvl 75+ bomb – a

Phuroboros – to discourage adventurers from attempting to enter the cave.

And let me remind you that lvl 50 was the level cap in 1.0.

Let's take a look inside!

The dungeon seems to be located right below the Slate Mountains, as indicated by the overworld

map before it switches to the blank map.

The tunnel goes down deep, which again tells us that we're in for some pretty big and

open rooms – hopefully.

After crossing the invisible barrier, the color palette changes to the usual grayish

color used in all dungeons in Coerthas.

And the descent just keeps going.

Down and down we go.

I think we can safely say that this is the deepest dungeon we've ever entered at this

point.

Boy this is far down.

What are they hiding down here?

Eventually I come to an abrupt stop as I notice a faint light at what I assume is the end

of the descent.

Okay, we're about to encounter something man-made.

Here we go.

This is one of the doors used in Dzemael Darkhold, The Fesse and Hengr's Crucible as boss room

doors, but not only is this placed at the very beginning of the dungeon proper, it's

OPEN!

The fire was never placed in the braziers, but the light still flickers as if they're

there.

Fascinating already.

The room opens up to the usual boss room seen so many times before in Coerthan dungeons

– but I notice another flickering light – leading to yet another OPEN circular door.

If you've been following this series for a while I hope you understand why this is

so exciting.

So far in coerthan dungeons there's been very little man-made stuff until you reach

the end or at least mid-way into the dungeon.

Maybe you see a few wooden beams, perhaps a closed wooden door here and there, but never

anything like this.

The already open doors implies that someone has already been in here.

Or perhaps, someone is trying to lure us in…

Past the door I find myself at a junction.

One path going west, and the path I'm at going south.

Going south lead to an empty room, so I have no choice but to head west.

This path leads me further down into the darkness.

After another long descent, I notice an opening with a slight glow of light flickering in

the distance.

This looks like a giant open room ahead.

I pass through – wow.

A large room, similar to that of 1.0 Dzemael Darkhold greets me.

The braziers are not actually lit, but they all have a the light glow coming off them.

Waterfalls, a river, a bridge.

After the short walk in the dull gray tunnels, this is a very welcome change.

I can see why we were headed so far down.

This room is HUGE.

Also worth noting that the flame-less-yet-bright-braziers also had the sound effects on them.

I don't know what that tells you about the state of completion of this dungeon, but it's

the first unfinished dungeon from Coerthas I've been in were the braziers were actually

giving off light like this.

I cross the bridge, and enter the gray tunnels.

Another lit door greets me.

So far I've had very little time to get bored.

This dungeon is playing with my curiosity…

The next room isn't helping.

This is what looks like a large NM or Boss room.

We've seen variations of this room before.

It's pretty in its own right, with tiny waterfalls, small puddles of water and whatever

these bushes are, but my eyes are drawn to this door – which is closed.

The room has two exits, and this closed door might have required something for it to be

opened.

Maybe something that could be found in the other open exit?

I decide to check it and find out.

As I proceed down the tunnel, I notice something odd.

As I pass by this wall, it seems to be loading in the lighting.

That's another first for an unused dungeon.

As I pass it, the light disappears again…

Was this supposed to trigger something that's not been placed yet?

I don't know…

Let me know what you think in the comments!

After a short descent, I pass through a large opening and – what the heck oh my gods what

am I looking at!

Another large room, with waterfalls and large stone stalagmites.

But most importantly – this thing.

At first I thought it was a bridge, but it has a very clear and defined endpoint, with

this round emblem on the floor.

The path ends abruptly here so I have no choice but to turn around.

I make haste to the closed door from before and pass through it.

I expected it to lead me to the bridge, but I kept descending further and further down…

I think we're about to… go below it?

As I progress deeper and deeper into the darkness, I make it to another large room.

The large room has several exits.

I'm noticing that my client begins to lag slightly, as if it's trying to load something

– or perhaps its already loading something in the background.

I decide to keep moving forward, picking the exit directly facing me.

I enter another large room.

There seems to be a giant rock formation in front of me, and waterfalls on both sides,

but the path ends abruptly.

Whatever was here (and whatever it's trying to load in) is long gone.

I am still getting some lag in this area, so I move out quickly.

Next time the client crashes I might not be as lucky.

I return to the big room, and I enter the south-facing exit.

I'm surprised to see this path leads upwards.

Very rare, seeing as every other path I've chosen so far has lead down…

After what felt like an eternity, I reach another large room – this time with what

looks like an overpass with a missing bridge.

The room has waterfalls and these weird stalagmites with peculiar shapes…

Using my god powers I try to walk over to the other side, but it is not solid.

We're not meant to pass here.

I notice that this large room has several openings in them.

I spot the path we came from down below.

I decide to turn back and return to the large room with the many exits.

I head through the second-to-last unexplored exit in the room, the northeastern path.

I can't really put into words how large this dungeon is.

I'm planning on going through this dungeon in a patreon exclusive Return to SoaR stream

to show just how big this thing is, but for now you're just gonna have to take my word

on how long this dungeon is.

After an eternity of walking I see light in the distance.

I'm starting to suspect that I've somehow picked the linear path now, and before I could

think any further I see this.

This is the same stuff we found in Hengr's Crucible!

And as I pass through the door – oh my god.

It's almost he same room!

I'd also like to address the video I did on Hengr's Crucible.

In the comments you guys mentioned that it was very likely dragon eggs.

I think this might confirm it.

The guard mentioned the dragons being down here, and this could be some sort of hatching

ground.

Another well lit closed door beckons on the other side of the room.

I pass it, and follow the path.

It leads upwards for a while, and I eventually end up in another large room, but unlike the

other times, I have a path to follow to my right.

Although the room itself has very little going on, it's still an impressive design.

It gives you that feeling of being so small, the surroundings being so massive.

It's almost a bit frightening, even without the dragons and monsters…

I make it back to the large room.

The last, northern exit remains.

I start walking…

It leads me upwards.

I see light in the distance.

Could this be it?

Finally!

We make it back into the room with the strange symbol on the ground.

I can't really recognize it from anywhere… but my gods is this a cool find!

Could it have been meant to serve as a teleport pad?

Or a summoning altar?

I see more braziers, lit, leading down to another bridge.

This one is in one piece, and leads to another tunnel.

And this is where things get really confusing.

I thought I was on a linear path again, but this tunnel eventually leads to the big room

again.

The room with the weird symbol has a lot of paths, which all seems to lead to areas I've

been to before.

After about half an hour of running through tunnels leading to random points in the large

rooms I had been to many times before, I decided to leave the room behind.

The lower area leads nowhere.

It's possible the pad was meant to teleport the player out of the dungeon, or to a different

area.

I walk all the way back out of the large room with the exits.

On my way back I pick a random path.

I keep walking, expecting to see nothing but a room I've seen a million times before.

But then, there in the distance, I see a towering structure in a giant room.

A green, mossy rock formation with bushes growing out of it.

I can't believe I missed this!

As I stand there in awe at a simple mossy rock piece, I notice its inhabitants.

Hawks or Eagles, flying around the structure – their home.

What a fitting end to a dungeon so infested with dead things – just some happy living

birds doing bird things.

Maybe this is what gave name to the whole dungeon, the Aery.

Either misspelled or simply made unique by the Ishgardians.

Mayhap they call it that in Eorzea.

Who knows.

The story of the dungeon is difficult to pinpoint.

It's all over the place.

But the doors and braziers do shed some light on what might have happened.

Something has made it inside the dungeon.

Whoever or whatever it is has also lit the braziers.

We can't really tell who it is, but perhaps they are tied to the symbol on the ground?

I can't seem to find any sources that can explain what it means, but they do look eerily

similar to the patterns found in dravanian designs.

We can't ignore the similarity in name to the aery.

This could have been intended to introduce the adventurers to Ishgard's dragon storyline.

Perhaps as a lead-in to what would become the 1.0 version of Heavensward.

We can only speculate.

Leave your speculations in the comment section below!

We've reached the end of the episode my friends, thank you so much for watching.

I'll be back next month with another episode of Secrets of a Realm.

Until then.

May you ever walk in the light of the Crystal!

Mane's honest response to being wrongly denied a goal against Arsenal - Duration: 2:40.

Sadio Mane provided a refreshingly honest answer when he was informed that his disallowed goal against Arsenal should have stood

The Liverpool forward thought he'd opened the scoring in Saturday's clash at the Emirates Stadium when he followed up a Roberto Firmino shot that had hit the post and tapped it in

Mane was initially in an offside position when Trent Alexander-Arnold's ball had played in Firmino, but he was level with the Brazilian when he hit his shot, therefore onside

Former referee Peter Walton confirmed that the goal should have stood on BT Sport's coverage of the game

But while Liverpool could have blamed the decision for costing them two points after the match finished 1-1 , Mane dismissed those claims and cited a goal that he scored in the 4-0 win over West Ham in Liverpool's opening game of the season as an example of why the Reds shouldn't dwell on the decision

"I haven't watched it back and to be honest I'm someone who is not really interested in this kind of thing," Mane told the Liverpool Echo

"If you remember, when I scored a goal against West Ham earlier in the season I was offside and that goal counted

"So if this time I was onside and it didn't count then you just to deal with it and accept it

Officials are human beings and sometimes we all make mistakes.  "I think it was a good game, a difficult game

We were disappointed not to win because we had more clear chances than them.  "We struggled a little bit in the first half

Our pressing was lacking at times and it was too easy for them to pass it around

We needed to be more together.   "The manager changed some things at half-time and we improved in the second half

I know we can do better but a draw at Arsenal is not a bad result and now we have to move forward

"

Michelin Junior Design Challenge 2018 - Duration: 2:12.

[Reporter] Cruising to a top award. This Hilton Head Island High School student was presented

a scholarship check for $500 for winning the Michelin Junior Design Challenge at

the Hilton Head Island Concor d'Elegance and Motoring Festival. This year's

competition students designed a classic car of the future one capable of winning

the car show in the year 2025. [Lily Tothero] I created a future model of a Mercedes car it's called a Mercedes APV

It stand for Air Power Vehicles so it's completely environmental friendly and it's operated by a large battery

in the front and there's large batteries in the back that power it

The whole car is hooked up with your phone on and app and the car is also completely self driven.

[Reporter] Students from every high school in the district submitted designs and each

school's winning sketches were displayed at the Michelin tent during the event.

[Ben Ebel] What I loved was people didn't just leave technology behind you know we

still saw some really interesting you know technology and the winner actually

one thing that the judges really liked about her entry was that she not only

did the outside she also did the inside so she started looking at the user

experience in the car and that's something that for designers is so

important is thinking about actually how does someone use this vehicle.

[Reporter] Michelin recognized the winners from each school by presenting them with 250 dollar

checks each. The students say they had a lot of fun adding futuristic technology

into their designs. [Jared Thomas] One of the things that we incorporated into our car was a

nanobot damage detection system so like if your car like got

damaged and you like internally like you wouldn't be able to see that like there

would be like small like blinking like nanobots I'd like if a link is severed

it would tell you so you can go get the car fixed before you like drive on in

and make the damage even worse. [Lukas Bukoffsky] I took most of my ideas from an r8 the sporty

part of it so we got like a McLaren p1 aerodynamic spoiler which gives it more

aerodynamicy we've got an Audi r8 gearbox which allows you to shift manually but also shifts itself if it needs to.

[Reporter] This is a second year Michelin has held the Junior Design Challenge. On Hilton Head

Island Ron Lopes Beaufort County School District.

✅ BluMaan Fifth Sample Pomade Review - For Mens Long Hair - Duration: 15:05.

(fanfare)

- Hello guys, and welcome back to my channel.

My name is Thomas if you're brand new here,

and I make style and hair related videos every single week,

so if that's your kind of thing, make sure you hit the

subscribe button, and come back and visit me every Monday.

(chuckles)

This video today is to celebrate the new launch

or the relaunch of BluMaan Fifth Sample pomade.

Joe did bring this out about three years ago.

I don't know if you guys have already tried it or not.

However, I think they had a few issues with the actual

product in the beginning, and it's take them about

three years to actually get this all together

and come up with something that they're happy with.

So, Sam from BluMaan, he reached out probably a couple weeks

ago now, and asked me if I'd be interested in contributing

to the launch, and of course, with all the other BluMaan

products that I've tested out, I was definitely down for it.

If you guys watch me on a regular basis as well, you'll know

pomades aren't usually a kind of hair product that I have

in my hair drawer, you know what I mean?

Like, I don't really use them.

And particularly because what I found with pomades

in the past were they get very oily and very greasy,

and they also add a lot of shine,

they're a shine product.

If you know me, I don't really like a wet shiny shiny look.

So I've always steered clear of them.

But the cool thing about this one is they say

that it's a low shine edition, so I'm not going to be

expecting a heap of shine and that wet look.

It's also a water-based one.

There's two types of pomades.

You've got water, and you got oil-based.

The oil-based ones are what give you a really awful,

they're just not cool.

The just don't wash out.

And water ones, they're usually really hard to make,

so BluMaan has really been brave by going and creating

something like this, but I'm really really interested

to try it out.

And the type of hairstyle we're gonna be doing today is a

low conservative ponytail.

I don't know if you guys saw my hairstyles for different

occasions video that I released a couple of weeks ago.

I did like business attire, I also did formal attire.

And a lot of the hairstyles that I talked about in those

categories were very slick, very tidy hairdos.

And I thought, cool, this is great time for me

to do something like this, and the low conservative ponytail

was one that I thought, it looked really cool, and it's not

like a hairstyle that we see a lot.

So I'm going to be doing one of those today for you.

And we're gonna be looking at how this product

actually works.

So I've got a bit of information here, it took three years

to develop, they've redefined the formula.

Problems with other pomades, there's not enough hold

throughout the day, poor hair health leading to thinning,

frizziness, dryness, and scalp issues, too heavy and greasy,

and difficult emulsification.

For those that don't know what emulsification is, it's just

like when you rub the product together and apply it,

that's what it is.

What does Fifth Sample provide?

High hold for a hairstyle that lasts all day

without weighing it down.

Got five hair health ingredients to help combat

brittle hair, dry hair, dry scalp, dull hair, and frizz.

They did say, looks that it's good for is for slick-back.

Now, obviously, with my hair being this length,

a slick-back's not really gonna, I mean it could work,

we could try it, but I'm going to be doing the low ponytail.

Maybe would do a bit of both.

We can just see how it looks with both.

I'll bring you closer up as well

once I've got my hairstyle done, because we're going to be

straightening and doing all the things today.

Yeah, that's pretty much all about it.

If we have a look at the packaging, again, they have just

done it, like, look at this whole family.

They're just the best looking family

I've ever seen in my life.

Whoever creates their art is a fricking genius,

and I really like the coloration and stuff they put in it.

They've used a gorilla this time.

The only thing that I thought was weird was that the gorilla

instead of having a slick-back, which is what this product

is supposed to be good for, he has a pompadour.

So, it didn't really make sense to me, but who really cares?

Because he looks cool.

You'll also notice that this tub is a lot bigger

than the other ones.

I don't know if they'll be selling a small version,

but the other BluMaan products that I've got,

they all come in this size.

This is a 2.5 ounce, and this is a 3.7 ounce,

so it's a fairly big tub.

And they haven't really confirmed whether it's going to be

smaller or not, but yeah.

I do know the price of this one is a little bit more.

This one's $21.50 US, and when we open it up,

ooh,

it looks quite different as well to a regular pomade.

This actually looks like like bubblegum in a tub.

It's so different, and it's like this blue galactic colour.

It's really cool, I love the colour.

The texture of it, it's quite gummy, so it is kind of

like chewing gum, but the one thing that I have to admit

is I usually love all the BluMaan smells.

The Monarch Paste is the one that I like the most so far.

However, for smells with this one,

it actually does smell, like, I dunno, plasticky or gooey,

or something like that.

It just doesn't have a nice hair product smell,

which I thought was quite odd.

If it were me, doing this, I'd make it smell like bubblegum,

because that's exactly what it looks like.

But I guess bubblegum's kind of not traditionally

a manly smell, but, that's just what I would do.

Anyway, so that's the product, and now it's time

to get into doing our hairstyle.

So we're going to be doing the low conservative ponytail.

And the way we're going to be doing that is

by straightening it.

I'm going to be using my Vanity Planet

Flow styling brush today, because my hair has keratins.

It is starting to wear off a little bit, so my fuzzies are

starting to come back, and holy hell, in Australia right now

it is hotter than this guy.

But no, so straightening my hair is going to be a little bit

of a bitch, but that's why I'm using the Flow styling brush,

because I can get decent straight hair

within 20 minutes with this guy.

I did do a full review about him as well, but we're going

to be using him to straighten all of my hair out.

And then once my hair is straightened,

then we're gonna chuck this guy on.

Aright, let's get into it.

Cool, so while that's heating up.

(distant humming)

That guy with the leaf blower

knows I'm trying to film a video.

I'm sure of it.

(playful music)

Just a little bit more there, and that will do me.

(chuckles)

Okay, so, 20 minutes later I have my hair

all straightened out.

A hair straightener will give you a significantly

straighter result than this.

However, for this tutorial that I'm doing today,

it's not really a big deal.

And, yeah, I'm really happy with it.

Having my hair keratined as well makes it that much more

easy to just straighten out and have like this

within a short time period.

Now,

(coughs)

during the straightening process, I did notice my ends

are starting to look quite ratty.

That's natural when you don't get a trim for a while.

And I haven't had a trim.

I'm probably due to go to the hairdresser.

So what I'm gonna do is just

add a little bit of ends repair on there.

Pretty much like, I dunno, a sealant.

And what I'm gonna do, I will be adding some more of this

a bit later, but I'm just gonna add a little bit to my hair

now, rub it together, and put that on the ends.

Because if I'm doing a ponytail, I do want the ends

to look as slick as possible.

And I'm hoping that the pomade can help

smooth them out a little bit as well.

It's just like one of the downfalls

of having long hair, you know?

Your ends are always doing their own thing.

Now it's time to actually get into using the product.

I think before I just go and put it onto the ponytail,

I have to actually apply the pomade.

♪ The moment of truth ♪

So like I just said, we're not gonna be using much else.

We're just gonna be using a bit of this with a bit of this.

Again, little tip for any of you guys with long hair

that want to try and use products like this or like this.

Adding oil to the product makes emulsification even easier.

If you have hair that's rather tangly

or rather rough like mine, I always find having an oil in my

hands makes it that much better.

I might move the camera up.

(claps) There we go, come in nice and close.

So, this is what my hair is looking like now

after the straightening brush.

Not very much texture going on in it, as you can see.

It's pretty much just a straightened job.

It's still essentially a little bit fluffy.

But now it's time to start applying our product.

We're just going to grab a big lump of it on the hand,

put it in there like that.

I still am not a fan of that smell, sorry BluMaan.

Put a little bit of oil, two pumps.

You can use Argan oil or whatever,

I just use Riot Control oil by Bhave,

because it works really well with my keratin treatment.

Emulsification time, let's do this.

So have a good look at my hair as it is now, and we'll see

what happens after we apply this, hey?

Okay, application's being quite good far.

I'm just gonna run it through my whole hair like that,

because I wanna get this right down to the ends,

because we want all the hair looking slick.

You can already see it doing its thing in the front there.

See how it's sticking it all back?

Oop, looks like we got another grouper.

It's already starting to bind my hairs together.

Wait and see.

Aright, so I've put it into the front there.

As we can see it's already shape my hair for me.

And we are seeing that minimal shine.

It is a lot shinier than other products that I would use.

So I've probably put enough in the front here.

The part I'm struggling with is more so at the back.

I could probably use more underneath

and through the middle bits here.

So I'm gonna grab a little bit more product.

It's so fun to play with, and I love the colour of it.

It's so cool.

And now we're gonna go underneath.

Little bit of tug there.

Hello.

Wonder if we can comb through it or not.

Ah yeah.

So I'm using the wide-tooth comb now

to just scoop it all through.

Ooh.

Look at that slickness!

The only thing I'm worried about is,

I don't know if a slick-back would really work for me

with my hair at this length, because there is so much room

for flop and stuff.

And I'm not hating the shine.

Usually shine is like, well, too much shine is kind of like,

nnhn.

Okay, so if we just go back a few steps and have a look at

what my hair looked like before I applied the product.

Check out the fricking slickness of it.

And you'll notice my hair before it had,

even though I had straightened it,

it still had a lot of boof in it.

And this, I'm even looking at it now, I could actually

wear this hairdo without even tying it up.

Yeah, it's just a simple out-style.

Could look cool.

Mega control.

I'm giving myself like Android 17 vibes right now,

or Super Android 17 vibes.

I am going to change my shirt soon as well, but I just

wanted to see how the product goes in my hair.

So far with the shine, cool, loving.

And I actually think

I've got a new formal hairstyle for my self.

Just even using this to slick it down.

I think the placing of it needs to be right,

the, or like all back.

Cool.

Yeah, that's dope.

I'm a fan!

Okay, so let's go ahead and put it into our ponytail.

So I'm gonna go and grab one of my elastics.

Seeing as we're using the Fifth Sample, why not use

a purple one, hey?

So, for doing this, again I'm gonna grab my

wide-toothed comb.

Wide-toothed combs are great for controlling hair,

because it's not so refined as a fine-tooth comb, right?

And it can actually help group all your hair,

especially while there's product in it.

So what I'm gonna do is brush it all back, I might,

I wanna be able to face you guys.

Brush it all back, get it all looking how I want to.

Really nice and clean.

This product's done a really good job

of taming my fly-aways as well.

Ooh, I actually really love the shine on that, so cool.

So I'm happy with the way my pony's sitting right now.

But as you can see, the purple elastic there,

I don't really want that showing, so what I'm gonna do

is pull out a bit of hair from below,

and we're gonna wrap it around the rest.

And what this does is it makes it look like,

I've tied my hair up with my own hair,

if you know what I mean.

Looks kind of cool, I like it.

And what I'll do to finish it up,

pin it in, make it as inconspicuous as possible.

Check it out.

Ha ha, it looks so groovy!

I love it.

I'd love to know your thoughts in the comment section below.

But what we're gonna do now

is put on the appropriate attire.

So, in my video about different hairstyles

for different occasions I used this example

for a formal event.

So I'm just gonna chuck on a white coloured shirt

with a bow tie and show you what the whole look

looks like together, and yeah.

I'll be right back.

(snaps) Da!

Okay, so here's actually the final look.

I've just chucked on my white coloured shirt

with my bow tie, and this is what it looks like.

So it's like more of a formal-y sort of hairstyle.

I also think it's time to zoom back out,

so we can finish up this video, how about that?

(claps) Okay, and we're back!

This is the final look from afar.

Not that much different, but yeah, it's pretty cool.

I'd really like to know your thoughts about this

in the comment section below, and also,

what kind of experiences have you guys had with pomades?

Are they something that you use?

'Cause they're just something that I've never picked up.

However, using this and looking at the natural shine,

I've actually had my mind changed about pomades, so,

(chuckles)

thank you BluMaan.

Yeah, I'd have to say my most favourite thing about this

was the natural shine that it gave.

I was a little bit worried that I was gonna be getting

that greasy shine, which I fucking hate.

But yeah, crisis avoided.

Probably my least favourite thing about this

is the smell of the product.

I love to have nice smelling things in my hair, I just love

the smell buzzing around my head all day.

So if I could mention anything, I would say

to make the smell a little bit more interesting.

The packaging's cool, the pricing, I guess, like $21.50

is jumping up a little bit.

I think they usually are $19.50 or something like that.

Considering the time and effort that maybe went

into this one, that's why it's more expensive.

And in terms of hold and doing what I wanted it to,

the fly-aways are really under control.

I'm really happy with the overall control

that it's given my hair.

You guys saw how boofy it was, and this has helped me

really constrict that down.

And I'm impressed with how the actual ends came out.

You know how I was saying earlier they're still a little bit

frazzle-y, like, the fact that this smoothed them over,

that's a really good thing.

Yeah, another bonus.

I'm actually really excited about how it looked

when I had it out and down.

I think that's gonna be really cool, because I wasn't

expecting the slickness to look as great as it did.

So that's another thing I'm really excited about, so.

Mind changed about pomade, and I'm happy to introduce

these guys to their other family members.

They're all like a big happy family now.

I can't believe there's five BluMaan products out there.

They just smashing them out. (claps)

Good job, guys.

Thank you so much, Sam, for reaching out

and letting me be a part of this launch.

Thank you to the whole BluMaan team.

Thank you to you guys for watching, and I really hope

you found this video enjoyable.

Please make sure you go over and join my Facebook group.

I have a Facebook group called Hairstyles in Action.

I originally created it for all the guys out there

that are wanting to grow their hair, kind of like a

support network for guys that are

going through the awkward phase.

However, it's turned into more of a, I dunno, just a group

where everyone can come and share updates about their hair

and what they're doing with it, and stuff like that.

It's a lot of fun.

So, the link's gonna be in description box for you.

There'll also be a link to Fifth Sample down there as well.

So if you wanna grab some yourself, I would recommend it.

I'm very happy with this,

and I'm glad it's in my arsenal now.

And that's all I really have for you, okay?

(chuckles)

Until next week, I'll see you for another video,

and ciao for now!

Bye!

#058: Landscape Photography Making the Most of Local Landscapes - Duration: 11:22.

Hello and thanks for joining me on another landscape photography outing.

Today I'd like to think about landscape photography without an epic location and

look at how we can capture interesting artwork just about anywhere and in just

about any conditions.

Today I've come down to my local water feature which you may have seen on my

channel from time to time I live just over the far side my house faces

approximately south-west so I tend to shoot from the other side whenever

there's a decent sunset and I'm concentrating on the stand the

reflections in the water.

But I guess when you tune in to my channel you're expecting to find me in

more interesting locations and that's because I happen to live close by them.

So why wouldn't I share them with you and encourage you to visit if you can.

Now many of you might say 'yeah but look you've got this fabulous lake right on

your doorstep', well, yes, of course that's true. But I'd say that just about

everyone has an interesting landscape not too far from where they live whether

its water or woodland or even urban parkland there are landscapes

everywhere you turn so looking at this location you can see it's a perfectly

Pleasant spot for a quiet scenic stroll but it isn't necessarily the first place

that a photographer would think of coming the surrounds are a bit flat and

boring and there's no mountainous backdrop like Dew and water for example

or Snowden horse-shoe behind Clint lador or interesting old jetties there isn't a

single lone tree in sight or an interesting little island to draw your

attention you see most still water shots really needs something to focus on to

draw your attention in if you just shoot the water itself it's probably not

really going to be that interesting as I said earlier I only use it as a device

when I'm actually shoot in the sunset now let's think about the conditions

here it's a pretty dull gray day and there's really not much going on but of

course when you're able to get out with a camera that could well also be the

case we can't always get out when the light is just perfect and that's why I

came out on a so-so sort of day to a ho-hum sort of location so you can enjoy

watching me struggle to find some images I'm gonna ever hunt about for about two

or three images which I hope will show you that you can get out and enjoy your

landscape photography wherever you happen to be and whatever the light is

doing Oh what caught my attention with this

little cascade is at first glance you'd think there's not much to it

but what I really like is the way the trees in the background are reflected in

the still water of the pool above the Cascade so putting those three elements

together with the Cascade at the bottom I think it makes for quite an

interesting composition I'm not a big fan of water that's been completely

smoothed out so it looks like milk I still want to be able to see some detail

in it obviously I don't want to freeze it solid so that quarter of a second

should hopefully give me what I'm looking for but as I said what I

particularly like about this are the reflections behind the Cascade

perhaps I was being a bit economical with the truth when I said we don't have

a derelict jetty because actually we do but it's hardly in the same league as

Derwent water that said it's still an interesting subject I can't get a

standard wide open composition because the banks are all completely overgrown

so I'm forced to shoot with these leaves overhanging

and I've got a whole Bank of reeds between myself and the end of the jetty

now that's not necessarily a problem at all I'm taking a long exposure of this

and I'm allowing the reeds and the leaves to move in the image and create

that interesting motion but the clouds and the water are getting smoothed out

with this quite nice soft diffused light the only question I'm gonna have when I

get it back in post is whether I can do anything with colours or whether I'm

going to need to make it monotone I'll take a look at that later and make a

decision in the meantime what I'm doing is making sure I've got enough data to

work with I can't stress this enough for landscape photography you have the

opportunity where your subject is not moving very fast you don't need to grab

a shot really quickly you can take your time and think about it and what this is

allowing me to do is to try all sorts of different focal lengths and different

slightly different compositions to see which I prefer when I get it back onto

my computer so make sure you've got enough data on your card get the

multiple exposures bracket if you need to meter for the foreground meter for

the sky do all of those things so that you can throw away 50 shots to get that

one shot that really works for you

I think the lesson I'm learning today is all about observation I'm having to work

much harder to find something that's going to create the interest that makes

a good image now usually when I'm out and about in my epic locations it's much

easier to simply point your camera or whatever's giving you the wow factor if

I'm happy with any of the images that I get today I think they'll probably mean

more to me than an easy win where I simply point my camera at a golden

sunset in Snowdonia

on the subject of being observant not that long ago I was walking with a

fellow vlogger chap by the name of Paul Compton you may have heard of him he's

an extremely good photographer by the way don't be fooled by his exuberant

vlogging style we were on our way to see an evening with Tom Heaton and I was

looking at our surroundings as we were chatting and thinking oh this might make

a good composition that would be an interesting subject and that exact

moment Paul said do you know what whenever I'm out and about walking

I'm always looking at stuff of it as if it's a potential image and I knew

exactly what he meant you kind of get into that mindset and coming to a place

like this on a day like this and having to really work at it kind of sharpens

your skills so that the next time you're out and you've got a great subject and

great light you're equipped to really make the most of it for this final image

I'm shooting across this little Inlet and it's quite shallow so by using a

polarizer I can see all the crap on the bottom and it looks fabulous it's all

dead stuff on a sort of sandy bottom and then behind it I've got a really nice

bed of bullrushes what I've done with this one is I've put my Tokina wide

angle lens on so I'm shooting ultra wide about 11 millimeters and it's a perfect

composition for that sort of wide angle one of the problems that I see with a

lot of wide-angle shots are that you get really interesting foreground but if

you've got a subject in the background it gets completely lost some images that

come to mind are things like bamburgh castle for example there's some fabulous

rocks and photographers are really keen to feature those rocks

but then the castle ends up as a teeny tiny little aspect right in the far

distance for me I tend to try and avoid using an ultra wide-angle lens

unless the entire image is what I'm trying to get into it so with this one I

think the sort of composition that I've come up with hopefully will work quite

well as far as my settings are concerned well again as I said earlier I'm doing

all sorts of different exposures to see what I come up with

so you'll find to help what settings I settled on when I show you the image

shortly well I hope you've enjoyed this one not my usual sort of thing I'm

usually about the epoch locations more about where to shoot than how to shoot I

don't normally get quite this philosophical but I thought I should

come clean but I don't always get up into the mountains or down onto the

coast and I hope it's given you some food for thought but you can get out and

you can find some interesting images wherever you happen to live and when you

do get the opportunity to travel to the more interesting locations that you'll

then be better equipped to make the most of them so get out there and take some

pictures so with that I'll say thank you ever so much for watching I really

appreciate your comments and your encouragement and support oh by the way

if you haven't done it yet why not subscribe now and join me next time
