Hey guys, and welcome to my last haul video ever! Okay, maybe not ever [laughs], but this
will be my last haul for quite a while. As you may know, I have been unemployed for a
year now, and it's officially come time for me to stop spending. Not just cut back,
but stop altogether. I decided to make this haul my last hurrah, as I've been looking
forward to this particular shopping trip all year.
So I attended a show here in the Toronto area called CreativFestival; they have a spring
show and a fall show, and for the last two years, I think, they have partnered with another
show called ScrapFest for their fall show. So basically what that means is that the fall
show is the one that has all the paper crafting-related shopping in it! There's also classes, and
the ScrapFest people have a separate room for crops and things like that.
I went for the first time last year, and I went a little crazy with the shopping [laughs].
I don't think I ever posted the haul from last year, but I bought a ton of stuff. This
year was no exception, but I think I was a little smarter with my craziness? I went into
the show this year knowing what particular collections and whatnot that I was looking
for, so that kept me a little more focused on finding particular items, rather than just
buying all the cute stuff I could get my hands on.
So since this is officially my last haul for who knows how long, I made sure to make it
count. So we'll just get started - and I will link all of the vendors that I bought
from below, so be sure to check them out!
The first place I went was the Scrapbook and Cards Today booth; Scrapbook and Cards Today
being, of course, the geniuses behind the SCT Sampler Kit. They were the last booth
I hit last year, and I regretted it, because they had a ton of stuff for ridiculously good
prices, and by the time I got there both their inventory and my wallet were picked over [laughs].
So I made a point of going there first thing this year! And, um… I made out well [laughs].
So from their $1.00 bin, I picked up this little package of Valentine's Bingo cards.
I grabbed quite a few things from their $3.00 bins: I picked up these gold "Joyous" alpha
Thickers…
I got these gorgeous "Happy Life" alpha Thickers - this side is gold, and the other
side is this gorgeous rose gold!
I got these Valentine's Thickers …
These chipboard accents from the Echo Park "A Perfect Autumn" collection…
This pack of Amy Tangerine rubber shapes…
And the absolute best items I found in those bins by far: full-sized distress ink pads!
They only had these two colours, the Vintage Photo and the Peacock Feathers, so I grabbed
one of each because, uh… full-size distress inks for $3.00 a pop? Yes please!
They also had a bin of paper pads that I thought were two for $5.00, but he rang me up for
$3.00 for the two and I wasn't going to argue with that! So I picked up the Simple
Stories "I Am" double-sided 6x8 paper pad; this is a collection that I received a sampling
from in the SCT Sampler Kit, and then bought a few more pieces of it online, so I got this
to add to it.
[music]
And then I also grabbed the Pink Paislee "Spellcast" single-sided 6x6 paper pad.
[music]
Moving on to the items I got from their $4.00 bin, I grabbed these sets of enamel dots from
Doodlebug, Pinkfresh Studio and Carta Bella…
These Pink Paislee "Turn The Page" swatch books, which are like books of little 2x2
cut aparts…
And this set of Crate Paper "Wonder" Ephemera.
And finally, from their $5.00 bin, I got this Doodlebug Odds & Ends ephemera from the "Christmas
Town" collection…
… and these journaling cards from the Simple Stories "I Am" collection.
So that was it for vendor number one! [laughs] The next booth I visited was the Younique
Scrapbook Store, which is another vendor that I bought from last year.
The first thing I grabbed was this roll of ⅛ inch Scor-Tape for $5.95. I fell in love
with ⅛ inch Scor-Tape, or double-sided tape, after I got that giant roll in the SCT Sampler
Kit, and I'm rapidly using up that roll!
Next I found this single-sided 6x6 paper pad from the Crate Paper "Snow and Cocoa" collection
for $4.75; I picked up the ephemera pack from this collection last year, so I got this to
go with it.
[music]
Next I bought the Simple Stories "Forever Fall" collection kit for $17.50; this was
one of the collections I was keeping an eye out for, particularly because…
... [of] this insanely adorable fox! [laughs]
And then I also found this Photo Play "Love Notes" collection kit for $8.99, and one of
the things that sold me on this one was…
… the flying pig. [laughs]
The third vendor I bought from was Ninabrook Paper Crafting, which was another repeat vendor
from last year.
The Doodlebug "Pumpkin Party" collection was another one I was looking for, and at
this vendor I picked up the Odds & Ends ephemera for $10.49...
… and the double-sided 6x6 paper pad, also for $10.49.
[music]
I also grabbed two sets of these glittery orange alpha Thickers for $4.49 each, primarily to
use in my October Daily.
And then I found this, which was not officially on my list, but I just couldn't pass it
up. It's what they referred to as a "mega bundle" of the My Mind's Eye "Trick or
Treat" collection. This is a collection that I've seen used in a lot of older October
Daily videos that I've been watching lately, and I fell in love with it, but because the videos
I was watching that featured it were from 2015/2016, it didn't occur to me that I
might still be able to find it.
So this "mega bundle" contains six sheets of double-sided 12x12 paper; a 12x12 chipboard
sticker sheet; a smaller sticker sheet; double-sided journaling cards; brads; and ephemera, for
$25.99. That seemed like a pretty sweet deal to me, so I had to get it!
Next I visited the Sassy Scrapping booth; I think I might have visited this booth last
year as well, but I don't remember for sure. It did seem familiar to me though!
So the first thing I picked up there was the Echo Park "Hocus Pocus" collection kit
for $24.00; this was another collection I was looking for, and while I probably paid
a bit more for this kit than I should have, I was just happy to find it
Next I got this set of American Crafts puffy stickers and this set of American Crafts wooden
shapes for $6.00 each.
And I picked up this adorable Doodle-Pops mummy sticker on clearance for $1.95.
Moving to the Two Scrapbook Friends booth, this was another vendor that I didn't think
I'd shopped at before, but they also seemed very familiar to me! I definitely I need to
keep them in mind as one of my first stops next year - they had a lot of the collection
kits that I had already picked up, but they also had all of the elements available separately,
so you could pick and choose what pieces you wanted. I will definitely have to remember
that next time!
So their individual 12x12 papers ranged in price from $1.10 to $1.35, and they weren't
labelled, so I can't give you exact prices for these; when I was picking them out I just
assumed they'd all be $1.35. So I picked up an extra of this cut apart sheet from the
Simple Stories "Forever Fall" collection, again mostly because of the fox…
And that's the other side of that one.
I got two of this cut apart sheet from the Doodlebug "Pumpkin Party" collection…
And two of this cut apart sheet from the "Pumpkin Party" collection...
I picked up an extra of this sheet from the "Hocus Pocus" collection, just because
I adore these cute little ghosts…
And I grabbed an extra of the "Hocus Pocus" sticker sheet for $3.99.
Then I also got the "Pumpkin Party" Chit Chat ephemera for $8.99…
And one of the "Pumpkin Party" Doodle-Pops for $1.99.
I also grabbed the Doodlebug "Christmas Town" 6x6 double-sided paper pad for $8.99.
[music]
And I got the "Forever Fall" 4x6 sticker sheets for $6.99.
And then I finally picked up a jewel picker for $6.25; this is one of those tools that
I've been mulling over for a while now, because I have lost countless gem stickers
and whatnot to my stubby fingers, dropping them on the floor and then never finding them
again. So hopefully this will help me to, you know… not do that! [laughs]
By this point my money was starting to dwindle [laughs], so I had to get a little more discerning
with my purchases… I went to the Karen's Creations Scrapbooking booth, where they had
a ton of mini ink pads. So I picked up a pad of Memento Black ink for $3.29; I've heard
this is one of the better inks for stamping images that you want to colour, so I thought
I'd one in a little "sample size" to start…
And they also had Tim Holtz mini distress inks in literally every colour for $3.99 each,
and with much pain, I forced myself to only pick two [laughs]. I got the "Carved Pumpkin"
for Halloween projects, obviously, and the "Tea Dye", because I wanted to get a brown
that's lighter than the "Vintage Photo".
The next booth I hit up was Worldwide Scrapbooking Supplies, which was the only place trhat I found
anything from the Doodlebug "Sweet Summer" collection. This was another collection that I
got pieces of in the SCT Sampler Kit and wanted more of, so I picked up two of the Doodle-Pops
for $2.45 each, and the double-sided 6x6 paper pad for $5.00.
[music]
And finally - finally! [laughs] - the last vendor I visited was The Workshop, which had
quite a few clearance bins to go through. I ended up finding this Bo Bunny ephemera
pack for $8.27; it doesn't say what's in it, but you can see that there's cardstock,
there's playing cards, ribbon, buttons, paper clips, and all sorts of fun stuff in
here. So that's going to be fun to go through!
And then I picked up two of these We R Memory Keepers 3x3 chipboard albums for $4.97 each.
I just thought they were really cool, and they even come with 3x3 page protectors, so
I thought they would be fun to play with.
And that's it for this gigantic, final haul of… well, probably of 2018, if I'm being
honest! I am done shopping until after I both get a job AND I rebuild my savings. No more Michaels,
no more dollar stores unless I need non-crafty things, and then I have to be very strict
about not going into the craft aisle, even though I'm gonna want to! And I won't be
looking at the Michaels emails, and I probably am gonna even cut back on watching hauls
since they're my number one enabler, so please don't be offended if I'm not watching
your videos. But like, even if I get job tomorrow, the only shopping I'm gonna be doing, for anything
other than like, adhesive and things like that if I run out, will be just shopping my
stash until probably 2019, because I need to just stop shopping and stop hoarding, and
start using, and I'm going to be doing that exclusively, starting now! [laughs] So I hope
you'll stick around and join in on that journey, 'cause that should be… interesting!
So thank you for watching, and if you enjoyed this video, please give it a big thumbs up;
please give it a share; subscribe to my channel if you haven't already; and click that little
bell in the corner to be notified when I next upload a video. And I will see you guys in
the next one.

The Truth About Scotty Kilmer's Drinking Problem - Duration: 5:36.
rev up your engines, j-jordan says Scotty do you like beer, I like a beer
every now and then I go more for the German Pilsner styles myself, I was in
England recently and they had some pretty good beers there I guess and they
always laugh about, oh the English spent warm beer, what a load of hooey their
beer was just about as cold as it is here, they usually just start in the
cellars, but I noticed a lot of the pubs that I was in, they had refrigeration
units in them too, so that's nonsense on that you know, I like having a beer now
and then not too many of them, but I'm actually more of a rum man I'm a rum
aficionado, the best rum I ever had in my life was when at the British Virgin Islands
these Rasta guys with those big dreadlocks on, they had a place
they've been there for 200 something years, oh my god it was $7.00 for bottle
of rum, even my wife drink it straight, it was so great it was unbelievable rum
when they used to make them in small batches, rum was really something I mean
it really has distinctive taste, the modern corporate ones are garbage as far
as I'm concerned, it's probably the same way with beer, I imagine you went to
Germany to places that made their own it's probably fantastic, deplorable says
Scotty can you run regular unleaded in a Lexus, well I have for a really long
time, most Toyota's are normal compression
engines they're made for regular gas, some of the fancier ones they always run
on a high test gas, half of that is snob appeal, because oh it's a luxury car
it needs luxury gas, well here's the thing if you have a really high-tech modern
car, you can generally run it on any gas you want, as an example I had a Ford
Mustang with that EcoBoost four-cylinder engine and if you ran it on a high test
gas it had like 315 horsepower for four cylinder engines, which is a lot but it
even said in the manual, you can run it on regular gasoline, but then you only get
like 260 horsepower, so you lose horsepower, but in the modern cars the
computers can compensate for the octane rating in your car and it doesn't hurt
anything, on most Lexus you can run them all day long on a regular you might lose
a little power but it isn't going to hurt anything
Benjamin's sanguine says Scotty, my sister in the market for used hybrid how does a
Ford Fusion compare to Toyota Prius in terms of reliability, the Ford Fusion
Hybrid, the general running of that thing is the same as a
Toyota Prius, they used the same electric motor and the same battery pack that's
made by Panasonic, so they're relatively similar vehicles, it's a toss-up for what
you want, I'm not a fan of buying used hybrids because they can get really
expensive as they age, but if you buy one that has well under 100,000 miles you
probably won't have any problems, but don't go buy one it's got 150,000 miles
on it cuz you're gonna put a lot of money into it as it ages from my
experience, whether you buy the Ford or the Toyota Prius, Cruise says Scotty I
got an 05 2500 HD Silverado truck, my truck doesn't hold itself up on a small
hill what could it be, if you're talking about you just sitting there and it
keeps going backwards, even if you got your foot on the gas, odds are your
transmission is starting to slip, that's the most common thing, now if you're
talking about you step on the emergency brake and it won't hold itself on a hill
those things had one of the crappiest emergency brake systems ever made, they
went to this cheap Mickey Mouse setup and you're gonna need to repair it or
replace the whole thing, they do sell every year duty units to replace them with
that was a kind of design flaw of those things, I don't know why they put
such a crappy emergency brake system on a big truck like, that but if you're
talking about that, have that worked on or don't Park on hills, funky
says do you think I need new window seals to keep moisture out of my car and
my turn signals don't work when a car lights are on, my wiper motor went out, so
did the washer fluid reservoir, well one you got a wiring problem and if you're
getting water in, your window seals aren't gonna be damaging that stuff
because the window seals are on the side and all the controls for the turn
signals and the wipers they're all in a dash, so the water coming from windows
seals that isn't gonna do that, now if you do have water coming in from your
windshield in the front, unfortunately the only way you can fix that is, you got
to pull the windshield out and reseal it you can't put extra sealer on the
outside cuz that's not how they worked, when they build cars the frame is naked
where the windshield goes in, then they put glue the whole way around and then
they fit the glass over it, and if it does go bad and leak, you got to pull
the whole thing out to fix it or it'll still continue to leak, whatever is
leaking if it's affected your wiring you got to go under
there and sometimes the modules get shorted out, sometimes the wiring
connectors when you unconnect them you'll see they're green, that means they're
corroded you can clean them all off, it would be lucky if it was just something like that
little corrosion, John O'Donnell says pick me Scotty picked me, I have a 2001 lexus
ls 430 with cracked bushings on the control arms, can I replace the bushings
or do I need to replace the whole control arms thanks, they're basically made that you got to
replace the whole control arms, you could attempt to take them apart go to a
machine shop and see if they could press things in and out, but from my experience
do what I do, go aftermarket there are plenty good companies out there that
make the aftermarket control arms with the bushing and brand-new they cost like
1/4 of what Lexus gets for the factory ones, just do that then it's just the
bolt off bolt on job that you can easily do yourself without any specialty
tools, that's how I always do them nowadays
I don't even attempt to rebuild the things, so if you never want to miss

Whiplash Treatment - Parker Chiropractor Awaken Chiropractic - Duration: 1:30.
Hi everyone, Dr. Alex Willard with Awaken Chiropractic again. I want to talk this
week about whiplash. Whiplash injuries in your neck following
an accident whether it's in your car or something else that might sustain a
whiplash injury. So did you know that it only takes about a five mile an hour
accident in order to sustain that in your neck. Most people don't think
of a whiplash injury as being 5-10 to 20-40 miles an hour or 80
miles an hour getting rear-ended getting t-boned in your car and being in
excruciating pain. That's not necessarily true it is most of the time that's
usually where people feel the most pain but you can sustain a whiplash injury at
much lower speeds and actually that might actually be worse for you because
you don't think about. you don't get it corrected and sit there for 10 or 20
years which starts early degeneration in your neck and therefore it's not
correctable. There's nothing you can do except for surgery which, who wants
surgery to just fuse everything together, right? Not me. So in order to correct
that, get your spine checked out make sure that everything is in proper
alignment whether it's the bones or the muscles making sure that the nerves are
functioning correctly and so we can make sure that we awaken your health and we
can help you live a better life. Check us out online at www.awakenchiroco.com

But where you are is home
Wherever you stay
I'll find the way
I'll run like the river
I'll follow the sun
I'll fly like an eagle
To where I belong
I can't stand the distance
I can't dream alone
I can't wait to see you
Yes, I'm on my way home
Now I know it's true
My every road leads to you
And in the hour of darkness
Your light gets me through
You run like the river
You shine like the sun
You fly like an eagle
Yeah, you are the one
I've seen every sunset
And with all that I've learned
It's to you, I will always, always return

Grandfather builds school-bus Halloween costume for 5-year-old who uses wheelchair - Duration: 5:34.
Blake Mompher, 5, loves Halloween and the color yellow. Born with spina bifida -- a birth defect in which the spinal column fails to completely close during pregnancy -- and an infectious smile, Blake, a preschooler from Prospect, Ohio, gets around in a wheelchair
But this Halloween, his favorite holiday, Blake is making moves and celebrating in a handmade, school-bus costume designed by his grandfather Gary Mompher, the family's "handyman
" "I tinker around a lot so I thought it would be fun to make it," Gary Mompher told ABC News
"I love to see Blake smile." The plan was simple: , Blake's mother, would supply the idea and Aric Mompher, his father, would provide the cardboard boxes
Blake, the inspiration, witnessed the magic unfold every step of the way. "We always had a bus in mind because he really likes school buses," said , who said she'd showed an image on Pinterest to her father-in-law
"I said, 'Do you think this is something that you could do?'" So Gary Mompher went to work, toiling for three days in the garage and spilling bright-yellow paint on the garage floor
The edges had to be clean and the details had to be perfect, he said. Gary Mompher even included custom lettering on the side of the bus
"Blake lives in a county and it's a school bus so we threw in the words together and named it 'Blake County Schools,'" Gary Mompher said
"It was that easy." Video and photos posted online that have now gone viral show Blake maneuvering his custom-made school bus, the costume molded around his wheelchair
Four circular, hand-painted red lights adorn the front and the words "BLAKE COUNTY SCHOOLS" are plastered in bold, black letters on the side of the vehicle
"Blake sees other kids running around and they're able to wear full-on costumes and he just can't do that," Aric Mompher said
"Our goal as parents is to make Halloween special for him and it so happens that my dad is very talented
" Gary Mompher's talents also shined in 2016, when the grandfather constructed a bulldozer costume for Blake from scratch
A yellow worker's helmet sat on top of the yellow frame but the crawler was heavy and prevented Blake from moving freely on his own
Last year, health problems prevented Blake from celebrating with an elaborate costume so Gary Mompher made sure to pull out all the stops this year
"It was like a miracle to see him get in the school bus," said Gary Mompher, describing the moment Blake tried on his costume for the first time earlier this month
"He immediately started rolling the chair and trying to run me down and everybody down
" On Friday, Blake attended a school Halloween function in his school-bus costume, showing off to friends and teachers who greeted him with high-fives and M&Ms, his favorite candy
"Just to see him happy, it means the world to us as parents," said. "The joy in his face and the smile that Blake brings
It outweighs the hard that he goes through." The Mompher family hopes to continue the tradition next year with Blake's Halloween costume for 2019 already set: a yellow fire truck
