Youtube daily report Oct 30 2017

Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News - I'm Oli Davis.

Fat Jokes...FROM OUTTA NOWHERE This is Randy Orton.

He's been calling his fellow wrestlers names for several weeks.

Zack Ryder, Cody Rhodes, Tye Dillinger - nobody has been safe from the Viper's online RKOs.

His next target was Kevin Owens.

Randy posted a photo of his McDonalds breakfast with the caption: Don't judge me.

I needed the calories.

Also I'm training for a potential confrontation with @fightowensfight.

Rusev got in on the bullying too, noting Randy might want to 'Double it then'.

Randy and Rusev thought they were safe.

But they weren't, because Owens had a reply of his own, commenting:

"I've been preparing for a potential battle between us too, buddy.

I watched paint dry today.

I've got you all figured out."

"I'll be darned" Vince McMahon Shoots Down Bullet Club Reunion

In WWE WWE found themselves in a very difficult situation

two weeks ago when two of their featured performers were struck down with illness just days before

the Raw-exclusive pay-per-view TLC. Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt were out with the mumps.

As the entire show had been built around the Shield reunion, WWE wanted an equally momentous

attraction to replace Roman.

After reportedly reaching out to Chris Jericho, who couldn't make the show because of dates

with his band Fozzy, Vince McMahon made the call to let Kurt Angle wrestle in a WWE ring

for the first time in 11 years.

WWE also delivered on Bray Wyatt's replacement - booking a special attraction dream match

between Wyatt's original opponent Finn Balor, and Smackdown wrestler AJ Styles (a battle

of the former Bullet Club leaders) which WWE are already pushing as a match of the year

candidate.

But according to Pro Wrestling Sheet, the match almost had even more of a Bullet Club

presence.

On the site's Wrestling Sheet Radio, Ryan Satin said one idea was "a 4 on 4 match

where [Balor] would team with Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows and AJ Styles to basically have

a Bullet Club reunion of sorts" but this was "shot down" by Vince McMahon.

This could be because there was already a 3 vs 5 match as the show's main event, but

it could also be because of the company's interpromotional feud with THE non-WWE members

of The Bullet Club ever since Cody Rhodes, Marty Scurll, the Young Bucks and Hangman

Page invaded Monday Night Raw.

Which brings us onto...

Wrestling Memes Competition ...the winner of last week's Wrestling Memes

competition, which was AJ and Balor's post-match 'Too Sweet' from TLC.

Well done Carlos Toppin, who saved us a Cease and Desist by covering the hand gesture with

everyone's favourite early-00s faction Right To Censor.

Head over to Wrestling Memes on Facebook to find the image for this week's competition.

Remember, the prize...is only bragging rights.

Which isn't really a prize.

Emma, Summer Rae and Darren Young have all been released from WWE!

And what is The Undertaker's lost Wrestlemania 21 match!

he swalloed the entire lure

I am fishing with Fat Ttail with a 12grams sinker

I have in the bottom one spoon

to attract the fish with the brightness

and as I said I ended up putting the trailler hook because I lost some fish

I lost one with guaranteed more than one kilo but those do not count

as I said it was a weak day but is better a weak fishing day than a good day at work

Baby Jogger City Tour Vs. City Tour Lux | NEW 2018 STROLLER - Duration: 4:25.

Hi everyone its Kensi with the Baby Cubby and today we're doing a comparison

between two strollers from Baby Jogger the city tour which retails for $199

and the new City Tour lux which retails for $299 and will launch

in February of 2018

Both of these strollers are considered lightweight compact travel strollers but

there are a few key differences that we're going to show you now so let's

start off with the seat you have a smaller canopy on the City Tour the City

Tour Lux offers a little bit more of a generous canopy it also has an

adjustable footrest on the lux you're not able to adjust the footrest on the

City Tour the City Tour Lux is also a modular stroller so you can turn the

seat from forward-facing to rear-facing and the City Tour is not considered a

modular stroller. The City Tour Lux offers more padding it's going to be a

little bit of a larger seat and can accommodate a child from three months

whereas the city tour can accommodate a child from six months and the recline is

also a little bit different on the Lux you just have a button behind the seat

whereas on the Tour, you're pinching and pulling down the straps

the brake is going to be a little bit different on

each of these strollers as well on the

City Tour you have just your regular foot brake on the back and the City Tour

Lux features a handbrake

The fold is also going to be a little bit different for the City Tour you just

squeeze the handle bar and then pull

really compact as you can see that's great for

travel and the City Tour Lux it's more of a three step fold and you have the

hand strap here and then a strap for your shoulder as well as you can see it

both strollers are going to be pretty compact the City Tour is a little more

compact than the City Tour Lux and the Lux

also stands when folded when the wheels are sideways which is really nice if you

have any questions at this point feel free to comment below or send us an

email at hello@babycubby.com

There is a weight difference between the two

as well the Tour is 14.2 pounds whereas the City Tour Lux is 19 pounds

The way you unfold these strollers is going to be a little bit different as well we

found that the City Tour is a little bit easier to open it's just a matter of

undoing the lock walking out the footrest and the handle and you're good

to go. The City Tour Lux, I recommend pushing the feet out first and then

replacing the handle bar and your seat

Both strollers will come with a travel

bag both strollers fit pretty compactly into their travel bags without removing

the seat or the wheels or anything like that you do have the backpack straps to

carry around the airport with you and remember the City Tour is 14.2 pounds

and the City Tour Lux is 19 pounds I have to say this one is a little bit

heavy on my back

You can also purchase additional

accessories for the City Tour Lux such as a cup holder a belly bar and the

bassinet which you can use from birth you can also purchase car seat adapters

for Baby Jogger Britax Cybex Maxi Cosi and Graco.

Both canopies feature a

peekaboo window on the City Tour Lux it is a magnetic window and on the City

Tour it is a velcro peekaboo window so that's something to consider when your

child is sleeping the City Tour Lux also offers a little bit more of a generous

storage basket on the bottom

Thanks so much for watching our comparison between

the Baby Jogger City tour and City Tour Lux, we love doing these comparisons to

help you determine which stroller is going to best fit your lifestyle if you

Access to Internet - Duration: 2:05.

One of the questions that we get is you know how is the internet paid for. So you

have somebody that struggles well current with the finances and so we're

going to add remote services and they're going to require Wi-Fi to do it. Well

again it doesn't necessarily have to be Wi-Fi it can be cellular if that's an

option. You know currently the Internet is considered a utility under

Medicaid and so you know that is not typically paid for but there are ways

around that and I need an expert to explain how those ways around that are.

So Kyle you mentioned that cellular technology can transmit information much

like it does over Wi-Fi an issue has also been that the Wi-Fi available in an

area for residences so internet providers sell Internet to businesses

and homes and sometimes the connection that they sell to a home is not good

enough quality so that a continuous camera monitoring system can be in place.

Part of part of the proposal that we are considering

in addition like the assistive tech service we're always looking at the

remote monitoring role is that we recognize there's a problem with access

to Internet that's high enough quality for remote monitoring. So not assistive

tech just remote monitoring camera systems in Ohio and we're exploring if

it would be permissible in those cases when the family does not have access to

Internet and other ways to get a dedicated line incorporated as part of

that remote monitoring equipment. So we are hopeful about this we don't have

approval yet but we recognize that there are some challenges. Ohio is a

really diverse and in all ways but geographically Ohio's diversity can make

it very difficult to access Internet in certain parts of the state and we don't

want that to be a barrier to people who are interested in using remote

monitoring.

SIGHNS THAT YOU SHOULD BREAK UP | REASONS TO END A RELATIONSHIP - Duration: 6:59.

Look at this hair.

I spent so much time trying to make them look ok

but obviously I failed.

But you know what? It doesn't matter.

I'm not like one of the makeup or hair gurus

so no one cares!

Apparently I'm feeling like talking about the break ups.

It's all because of u Shawn Mendes and your cool song that I love!

"There's nothing holding me back"

I need to stop doing things like that.

And today I want to talk to you about the things

about the actions of your boyfriend

that are actually leading to a red sign

which says: Break up with him!

Reason number one.

In your relationships you're not talking about you.

You're not talking about how you feel.

You're not talking about your day, about your life your interests and problems

Basically what you do is just disusing him.

His problems, his life, his interest, his friends

Everything that's him related.

Feels like a monologue of one hero in the theater or in the movies.

I don't get this stuff some people like that

These guys are simply not interested in something

aside of themselves.

Their ego is the size or our mother earth.

2. He decides everything for you.

You never do the stuff that you like.

You never go to see movies that you like.

You never go to the places that you like.

You're doing everything that he wants

You are seen exclusively his friends.

You're going only in the places that he loves.

And when it gets to the point when ask him

to go on a compromise and maybe do smth that u want

He's saying things like:

"I don't want to go there you can go by your own"

or : "You can do this with your girlfriends

I don't want to do that".

Of course you need to say bye-bye to your life

and start to live his.

Cuz apparently who wants to do stuff that they like.

Mmm. No one.

Reason number 3.

He doesn't have any goal in this life.

He doesn't want to achieve something.

He's working on a low paid job or he

doesn't have job at all.

And he has no problem with that.

They're just chilling

Apparently that's what adult boys are doing nowadays.

You know what boy?

U can't be loved for just being cute and fluffy

that what dogs are for.

This place is taken.

4th reason.

He doesn't pay your a compliment.

He doesn't say how smart and cool you are

and how lucky he is to have you he's life.

No. He's just criticizing you.

He's calling you ugly, he is calling you fat,

he says that you're disgusting and then

and then how lucky you are that he looked at you

and that he let you to get into his life.

F!!k you!

You know what you should do with your opinion

Right it down on the list then swallow it

and the thing that will come out of you in a while

is what you're.

These guys have such a low self-esteem that it's below zero.

And to make themselves feel better

they want to get a nice girl

who looks great and you who's smart

and actually awesome!

apparently not to feel themselves lonely they're trying hard

to push yourself esteem at the same level.

He's dumb. He is ugly. He is disgusting.

And not you!

It's him who has problems!

You don't!

Please stop listen to such things.

And please go away from such guys.

I just.. I feel disgust even talking about them.

Reason number 5.

He's lying to you.

Lying about the small things. Lying about big things.

Lying about what he did, where he was.

He's just making up stories from nowhere.

And this is a great quality for movie writer or a book writer

but in real life no.

When you are in relationships you want to have someone

who will have your back. Who if he promises to do something

you definitely know that he will do that.

And if you want to hear a made-up story

you can get yourself a book or go and watch a movie!

Reason number six.

He doesn't talk to you about the future

and your relationships are not moving anywhere.

If you're a teenager then this is not about you.

you can go and enjoy your life kid.

But if you are an adult person you need growth

not only in a professional life but also in a personal life.

and if it's not moving, if you stuck in one place

then maybe it's a sign that u need to change something or someone.

Reason number seven.

He is manipulating you.

He is playing on your feelings.

U know the situations when you are trying to talk with the guy

about the things that are bothering you,

about your feelings, about the problems and something.

And he is saying stuff like:

"Am I not doing enough for you?

I'm working so hard for you to have this!

And you are such an ungrateful person.

You don't appreciate that!

None of the guys will be patient to all this stuff that you're saying."

This is awful! Don't listen to this stuff!

Please don't listen!

Try to stop him right there and say that

this conversation is not about how much he does for you.

This is the conversation about the stuff that's bothering you

And you know this is normal.

All people have their own issues and the relationships.

None of the relationships are perfect!

And saying things like am I not doing enough for you

am I'm not trying hard to make you happy.

Yeah you're. but it doesn't mean that we are not having any problems.

Cuz you know it's not it's not related to the stuff that you are doing.

It's related to the stuff that are going on between us.

And you should feel free to speak about this thing.

And the last reason. Reason number 8.

He hits you.

No it's not okay.

No it's not your fault.

No it's not like that in every relationships.

Yes it means that you have problems and you need to go

and see a psychologist if you think that this is fine.

How would you feel if someone will suddenly punch you in the face on the street

just because you were standing too close to them?

Will you think that they're right?

Probably not. You will think that they are crazy.

You know what? Your boyfriend is crazy.

He's not okay and the problem is not in you.

And if you are not listening to me right now

then please listen to this thing.

You need to get help a professional help.

You need to talk to some who will be able to explain to you

that you shouldn't be in such type of relationships.

You shouldn't stoically and patiently wait for this to be over.

Because it shouldn't even started.

And on this note I want to finish this video.

Thank you guys for sharing with me another awesome awesome day!

I hope you like this video I hope that you are in a good healthy relationships.

I hope that you're not going through all this nightmare

and if you are stuck in such type of relationships and

you feel that you are drowning and it's just like a nightmare for you.

I hope that you can find forces and get away from it.

And if you do and if this video could help you even just a little bit

or if you feel yourself kind of generous today

then please show it to me

by giving it a big thumbs up.

Leave your comments and tell me what other things

you think are not okay in the relationships

and tell me about other red signals that you think

are pointing to the fact that you need to

run away from this guy as fast as you can!

Paul Manafort, Who Once Ran Trump Campaign, Told to Surrender - Duration: 6:15.

President Trump's campaign chairman, Paul Manafort,

was indicted Monday on charges that he funneled millions of dollars through

overseas shell companies and used the money to buy luxury cars, real estate,

antiques and expensive suits.

The charges against Mr. Manafort and his longtime associate Rick Gates represent

a significant escalation in a special counsel investigation that has cast a

shadow over Mr. Trump's first year in office.

The two men appeared in the Federal District Court in Washington on Monday

afternoon and pleaded "not guilty" to all charges.

Separately, one of the early foreign policy advisers to Mr. Trump's presidential

campaign, George Papadopoulos, pleaded guilty to lying to the F.B.I. about a

contact with a professor with ties to Kremlin officials,

prosecutors said on Monday.

The special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III,

was assigned in May to investigate whether anyone close to Mr. Trump

participated in a Russian government effort to influence last year's

presidential election.

Monday's indictments indicate that Mr. Mueller has taken an expansive view of

his mandate.

The indictment of Mr. Manafort and Mr. Gates makes no mention of Mr. Trump or

election meddling.

Instead, it describes in granular detail Mr. Manafort's lobbying work in Ukraine

and what prosecutors said was a scheme to hide that money from tax collectors

and the public.

The authorities said Mr. Manafort laundered more than $18 million.

"Manafort used his hidden overseas wealth to enjoy a lavish lifestyle in the

United States without paying taxes on that income," the indictment reads.

Mr. Gates is accused of transferring more than $3 million from offshore accounts.

The two are also charged with making false statements.

"As part of the scheme, Manafort and Gates repeatedly provided false information

to financial bookkeepers, tax accountants and legal counsel,

among others," the indictment read.

Mr. Papadopoulos admitted that in a January interview with the F.B.I.,

he lied about his contacts with a Russian professor,

whom he knew to have "substantial connections to Russian government officials,"

according to court documents.

Mr. Papadopoulos told the authorities that the conversation occurred before he

became an adviser to Mr. Trump's campaign.

In fact, he met the professor days after joining the campaign.

The professor took interest in Mr. Papadopoulos "because of his status with the

campaign," the court documents said.

Mr. Manafort and Mr. Gates surrendered to the F.B.I. early on Monday and,

through their lawyers, pleaded not guilty to all charges on Monday.

The two men, wearing dark blue suits, entered the courtroom with their hands

held behind their backs.

Money laundering, the most serious of the charges,

carries a potential prison sentence of up to 20 years.

Mr. Manafort has expected charges since this summer,

when F.B.I. agents raided his home and prosecutors warned him that they planned

to indict him.

That warning raised speculation that Mr. Manafort might try to cut a deal to

avoid prosecution.

A senior White House lawyer, Ty Cobb, said last week that the president was

confident that Mr. Manafort had no damaging information about him.

People close to Mr. Manafort, including his former business partner Roger J.

Stone Jr., have said he had nothing to offer that would help prosecutors build a

case against Mr. Trump.

"He's not going to lie," Mr. Stone said in September.

Mr. Gates is a longtime protégé and junior partner of Mr. Manafort.

His name appears on documents linked to companies that Mr. Manafort's firm set

up in Cyprus to receive payments from politicians and businesspeople in Eastern

Europe, records reviewed by The New York Times show.

Attempts to reach Mr. Gates on Monday were not successful.

A spokesman for Mr. Manafort did not immediately respond to a request for

comment.

Mr. Manafort, a veteran Republican strategist,

joined the Trump campaign in March 2016 to help keep delegates from breaking

with Mr. Trump in favor of establishment Republican candidates.

Mr. Trump soon promoted him to chairman and chief strategist,

a job that gave him control over day-to-day operations of the campaign.

But Mr. Trump fired Mr. Manafort just months later,

after reports that he received more than $12 million in undisclosed payments

from Viktor F. Yanukovych, the former Ukrainian president and a pro-Russia

politician.

Mr. Manafort spent years as a political consultant for Mr. Yanukovych.

American intelligence agencies have concluded that President Vladimir V. Putin

of Russia launched a stealth campaign of hacking and propaganda to try to damage

Hillary Clinton and help Mr. Trump win the election.

The Justice Department appointed Mr. Mueller III as special counsel in May to

lead the investigation into the Russian operations and to determine whether

anyone around Mr. Trump was involved.

Mr. Trump has denied any such collusion,

and no evidence has surfaced publicly to contradict him.

At the same time, Mr. Trump and his advisers this year repeatedly denied any

contacts with Russians during the campaign,

only to have journalists uncover one undisclosed meeting after another.

The New York Times revealed in July that Mr. Manafort and others close to Mr.

Trump met with Russians last year, on the promise of receiving damaging

political information about Mrs. Clinton.

Call Of Duty WW2 | Behind The Lines of D-Day - Duration: 3:13.

The fate of the world depended on its success,

On June 6, 1944, 156,00 soldiers

traveled through the English Channel to arrive on a

50 mile stretch of beach in Normandy.

It was known as Operation Overlord

and it's arguably the single greatest example

of teamwork ever carried out.

It took three years to orchestrate

and relied on the cooperation of 12 nations, over two

million military personnel and double agents

from across the globe, all operating in complete secrecy

With so many moving pieces, they needed a code word,

which many believe is the British invasion

of German occupied territory.

Not even King George VI knew the details.

The logistics of such a massive operation

included a staggering amount of coordinated efforts.

By June 11, we had 326,000 troops in Normandy.

The big question: how do they move all these supplies

without the enemy catching on?

Enter the Double Cross System,

AKA the 20 Committee,

a massive counter-espionage operation designed

to spread misinformation.

One of the greatest efforts was a top secret plan

intended to make the Germans think an attack

would take place here, Pas-de-Calais,

the closest point between Britain and France,

miles away from Omaha Beach.

So they set up divisions right across the channel

at the coast of Dover.

Unfortunately, for the Nazis, it was, as they say,

all smoke and mirrors.

A fake out.

A shell fleet made up of fake divisions, inflatable trucks,

rubber paratroopers and decoy landing craft.

This fake division

was further reinforced by cunning double-agents,

like Spanish born Garbo,

who convinced Hitler that a million man army

would appear at Calais,

which kept several of Germany's best Panzer Divisions

back even while Normandy was being attacked.

So convincing was Garbo that during the war,

the Nazis never found out he was working against them

even awarding him the distinguished Iron Cross.

He's one of the few in history who's won

military distinctions from both sides of the war.

Hitler was convinced to hold off sending reinforcements

to Normandy, making one of the most successful

military operations ever designed

and it took the teamwork of nations to make it happen.

D-Day was the tipping point of the war.

It literally changed the course of the world as we know it

It brought together men and women from all

walks of life, from different countries, with different

backgrounds, beliefs, all unified under the singular

vision of freedom.

The extensive, precise planning took

trust, bravery and coordination on grandest of scales

and will go down in history

as one of the greatest team efforts ever devised.

Elizabeth Banks Announces The Women In Comedy Program - Duration: 1:38.

Alright!

Let's do this.

How about right here?

Seems good, yeah?

Oh, you're only taking up like a quarter of the frame.

Yeah, that's perfect.

Hi, I'm Elizabeth Banks and I'm doing what we're supposed to be doing, right?

Because according to the center for the study of women in TV and film, women accounted for

only 27% of behind the scenes television roles last year.

And only 29% of protagonists in last year's top movies were women.

And a mere 17% of all TV, streaming and film titles were directed by a woman.

So... let's think about these numbers.

We're talking, like 1 piece of a Kit Kat bar or 1 slice of a personal pizza.

I mean, why would you want to live 50 or 100 years, when you can just die at 29?

Am I right?

No, these numbers are too low.

So that's why we at WhoHaha are teaming up with YouTube Space for the Women In Comedy

initiative.

We're gonna spotlight the funniest up and coming women around the world.

100 creators will be accepted to produce female driven videos with the help of YouTube Space

production crew, custom sets, workshops, events and also mentorship from my team at WhoHaha

and also yours truly.

So if you have a female driven project that you want to get off the ground or if you just,

you know, want to have a whole pizza all for yourself, this is your chance.

Let's get better representation, shall we?

You gotta come help me fill up all this space.

Give Me This Day: The Triumph of Faith and Will - Duration: 28:31.

- When I lost control of my body,

the hardest thing I had to learn

was letting go of control.

- From the moment he was born,

Drew Clayborn was strong and sturdy.

Now at 22, he's still strong and sturdy,

even though he's paralyzed from the neck down.

Give Me This Day: The Triumph of Faith and Will.

This week on Mi Healthy Mind.

Let's talk about it.

(upbeat instrumental music)

Welcome to Mi Healthy Mind.

I'm Michael Hunter.

Today's story will have you all over the emotional map.

It is a story of faith and will,

of triumph over extreme adversity,

of family love,

of friendship,

of unshakable inner strength.

It begins with a child who was

naturally optimistic and outgoing,

intelligent and active.

Drew Clayborn was into everything good,

sports, theater, music and life.

Until one day, at age 15,

he broke his neck doing a random backflip.

Settle in, while my colleague Elizabeth Atkins

talks with Drew Clayborn.

- Drew and LeDon welcome to Mi Healthy Mind.

- Thanks for having us.

- Yeah.

- Pleasure to be here.

- So Drew, you lived a very full,

very good life before your accident.

Can you tell us about it?

- Yeah, so, before my accident,

I was pretty active in school and stuff.

And I played a lot of different activities,

and I was in marching band,

and I played football and basketball.

And then whenever I'd find time,

I was always trying to just find something to do.

And so I was pretty active in school and at church,

everywhere, yeah.

- His name is Drew.

Picked it out of a name book because of what it meant.

It stood for strong and sturdy.

He truly is very strong and sturdy.

- And then you broke your neck.

Can you tell us what happened?

- Yeah, so sophomore year in high school.

I was 15, and in between a couple sports and stuff

there was a musical at school

and they were just bringing people in,

asking if anybody had any special abilities.

And I was like, "Well, if you want me to,

"I can do a backflip."

And so I started learning

how to do a backflip.

And I was going to a dance studio

and taking tumbling lessons.

And one day in the hallway at school,

me and some friends were just joking around

and we started doing backflips.

And when I went to go do a backflip,

I landed on my neck

and just landed wrong.

Woke up in the hospital.

- So when you regained conscientiousness,

were you aware of what happened?

- Uh, no.

When I regained conscientiousness it was kind of in and out.

It was probably like a week after

the accident had actually happened

where I really regained conscientiousness.

'Cause initially family members and friends and stuff

were coming to see me,

and I kept waking up

and asking what happened.

They would tell me,

and then I would fall back asleep.

And then wake up and do it again.

So once I came to, it was kind of the same thing.

Just asked what happened,

and they told me.

And my initial thought was just,

I got an extension on my homework.

(laughing)

That was my-- - Oh my goodness.

- That was my initial thought.

- Wow, that's a true student.

(laughing)

Thinking about their homework...

- That's a true procrastinator at that.

(laughing)

- So when did you realize the gravity of your situation?

- His first week there,

like he said, he don't remember much,

but that was induced.

- Oh, okay.

- They gave him medication so he'd have amnesia,

so to speak.

- Oh.

- 'Cause they didn't want him to, you know,

wake up, freak out.

'Cause his neck was still broken,

hadn't been set yet,

and things like that.

So that was intentional.

And then by the time he came through,

one of the things we kind of intentionally did

is we had already been planning.

And a lot of his friends, and teachers,

and everybody from our community wanted to come

and show their support.

So, I decided to let 'em.

And so, by the time he started remembering things,

each day he was probably havin' 50 or 100 people

come to his room to visit him

in the ICU. - Wow.

- And so they used to have a rule

where they'd only let 'em in two at a time,

but there was so many they was like,

"Okay, we'll make an exception."

And so they'd pile in there.

Some of his music friends would bring their guitars,

and they'd jump in the bed, take selfies with him,

and talk about the same stuff they would've talked about

before he got hurt.

So, he was always optimistic,

and we were always optimistic,

and still are.

So, we immediately went into

what it's gonna take to get him fixed

versus accepting this as your new way of life.

You know, that wasn't even a thought.

I've always raised them to be optimistic.

You know, we weren't the richest family in the world,

and we always had challenges,

and they had to be raised with divorced parents,

and the last thing I wanted to see happen to them

is that they lose faith,

or belief in the things they could do with their life,

and lose the reality of how wonderful life is.

- So at some point the doctors must have said,

"You're paralyzed.

"You can't walk."

- [LeDon] Yes.

- Okay.

- After they did the surgery to set his neck,

they gave him a super dose of steroids.

I guess, that's like a normal thing they do,

and sometimes it breaks down and it works.

It kind of shocks the nerve system or something.

But usually they know within about 72 hours.

So it was a waiting game.

Everyday we was waitin',

they would come in and do a little test

to see if he was responding.

And then finally when it reached the point

where they came and sat me down in the ICU,

and your mom was with me,

and they kind of told us that at this point

that he was gonna be a quadriplegic.

(dramatic music)

- [Narrator] Stress, depression

and severe mental illness can happen to anyone.

Team Mental Health Services

has been helping those struggling

with these conditions in Southeastern Michigan.

Within 24 hours of reaching out to our team,

members receive psychiatric evaluations,

and begin the necessary treatment for recovery.

Team Mental Health Services,

because we care, and you can.

(upbeat instrumental music)

(piano music)

- When a person experiences a traumatic event,

a number of things can happen.

First and foremost there's a sense of,

of feeling overwhelmed.

A sense of feeling a loss of control.

And those two things are experiences

that a person has to find a way to process

within your own mind.

Put into the context of their own life,

they may develop either a grief response,

a depressive response,

or a post-traumatic stress response.

Depending on their own personal makeup

and their particular experience of the event.

- Welcome back to Mi Healthy Mind.

Almost all people who suffer the kinds of catastrophic,

life-changing injury that Drew has experienced

encounter some type of mental health issue.

Severe depression, anxiety,

even thoughts of suicide.

Many do not have the internal fortitude

or the external support system that Drew has.

Often professional help is required.

- Physically, tell us what you were feeling.

- Physically, nothing.

It's one of those things

that when the accident first happens,

that's really where your sensation is lowered a lot.

And then since that point,

I've able to regain a lot of sensation.

It was all about rehabbing to try to regain some movement.

And seeing where I was at,

and what was possible

and what was gonna come after that.

'Cause I still have the idea

that I'm gonna walk again one day.

- Absolutely.

- In between, I know, I forget who said it,

but they said, "God or science, I'm gonna walk again."

So, I don't care which.

- Drew, what plans were mapped out

for your treatment and your future?

- Initially when I was in the hospital,

the huge game plan was geared towards

first getting me home and getting me stable.

But then there was a huge push

to get me back into the marching band.

And all my friends and everything,

everybody kept coming with ideas

of how to get me back into the marching band.

Because before my accident I played tuba.

And yeah, so after my accident

they were trying their ideas of playing the harmonica.

There was ideas of a bunch of different stuff,

and we ended up coming up,

someone came up with idea of playing a MIDI controller.

- That was Dave Rogers.

- Yeah.

- What's a MIDI controller?

- So it's kind of like a synthesizer.

A keyboard that plays different sound effects,

and so that was the big mission after my accident.

But, which also helped was a lot of my rehab.

'Cause it was a lot of neck movement.

Marching band helped with that.

And then it was also a big push of,

of being able to stay healthy after being in the hospital.

- A lot of people who experience a traumatic situation

like you have,

go through a natural grieving process.

Can you relate to that?

- I didn't really have any time to grieve.

There was no, I never really got down.

- So you had said something pretty clever,

and basically you had said

that with all the support

and all these people caring about you,

It was really shocking for you,

and you felt like you couldn't let anybody down.

So I had thought from that point,

that that was a strong motivation for him.

Is that he didn't wanna let anyone down

who was showing him support.

And I think that fueled you quite a bit for awhile.

- Yeah, 'cause it's one of those things,

you have all these people showing you all this support.

And everybody being there for you, it's like,

how can you be down?

Like, how can you be sad

with all these great things you're able to do?

- And one thing that contributes

to you being strong and sturdy is your faith.

Can you describe your faith to us please?

- Yeah, my faith has taken, especially,

well since my accident,

there's been so many examples.

But, whenever there's any type of situation

where I have any type of doubt,

I just, it always works out.

So I'm at the point now where my faith is more so.

It's not, if something is gonna work out.

I know it's gonna work out.

That's just where I'm at with it.

- So, where does that faith and that knowing,

where does it come from?

- We've done a lot of incredible things

from my accident to now.

And each time we don't think things are gonna work out,

they do.

And it's one of those things,

something our Pastor mentions.

He likes to talk about the Lord's Prayer.

And the one line is, "Give me this day."

And honestly that's all we've gotten.

And that's all we really keep getting.

That we always just keep getting this day.

Like as soon as we lose something,

we get it right back in another way.

There was a lot of things to worry about.

But it just seems like,

I don't know how or why things are gonna work out,

but I always know they will.

(piano music)

- [Michael Voiceover] Welcome to Mi Healthy Mind.

- The show that dares to talk about mental health matters

that touch nearly every family.

Each week you'll meet guests who share their stories,

hear from local experts

and learn about resources that may help.

- And so I was in a committee meeting

at the House of Representatives,

when I realized that my daughter had autism.

- We need to take the stigma away

from mental health issues.

- No topics about health and wellness are off-limits

on our show.

- Let's talk about it

on Mi Healthy Mind.

(instrumental music)

- There's a lot of good, sound advice

for those who have gone through an incapacitating event.

As well as some truly groundbreaking procedures

and programs available.

As for inspiration?

Elizabeth Atkins continues with Drew Clayborn.

- So Drew, everybody took on a role to help you.

Tell us about each person's role.

- Early on it was really my brother and my mom,

and came back from Chicago.

And my brother was able to take,

and do a lot of care for me,

and being with me in that way.

The same with my sister.

She was doing a lot of care for me,

especially my first year after my accident.

We were both still in high school.

So there would be days I would be in school,

and she would have to come with me.

And either I would go to her classes

or she would go to mine.

And we would just,

figure out a way to take care of each other.

And then my dad has been a huge role of the fundraising

and helping with our non-profit,

and building our non-profit,

and doing all the fundraising.

And really gearing that forward.

And my mom still takes care of me.

And she helps with filling in shifts

when the nurses aren't available.

And, yeah, we all just take a role.

And my dad's always filling in if nurses call off.

He's always the, what is it?

- The on-call?

- The on-call.

- [Elizabeth] Call him "on-call?"

- [LeDon] Yeah, I'm on-call.

- Right, he's the last one.

The last anchor if there's nobody else.

He has to drop whatever and come be with me.

- Once you were released from the hospital,

tell us what it was like getting back into normal life.

What you had to do to prepare.

- So, being able to keep my body healthy.

We had to figure out a way to live a normal life.

While still doing rehab and things like that.

So in the hospital, I was on the rehab floor,

and we were doing physical therapy three days a week.

And sometimes more,

so when I got home,

I started going to a rehab facility

three days a week

either before school

or after school.

And that was takin' a big toll on me,

and we saw that we just weren't

getting the results we needed.

So in order for me to go to school for full-time,

and keep my body healthy while still doing therapy,

we had to figure out something else.

- Yeah, well then I got invited to

something like a seminar nursing for case workers.

And they have a gathering

and they share best practices and so forth,

and I got invited.

And one of the guest speakers

was a man by the name of Phil Muccio,

and he owns a company called Axiobionics,

and he did a presentation of his wearable therapy.

And he explained that he had used the same therapy

for Christopher Reeves,

and all these different things.

And as soon I saw it, I go, "That's what he needs."

- Yeah, my body responded really well to the therapy.

It's a wearable suit with electric stem pads

that stimulate my muscles.

And I can wear it,

and it allows me to do therapy at night

while I'm asleep

and still stay healthy.

It helps with blood flow,

I don't have any muscle atrophy.

- [LeDon] No bone density lost.

- [Drew] Yeah.

No pressure sores.

- [LeDon] No heart issues, pressure sores, none of that.

- It helps with cardio and keepin' my heart healthy.

So yeah, it's been a huge,

and that was the big kicker that allowed me to live a life

while still being healthy,

and not having to worry about my health.

- But we did it,

and it worked.

It worked better than we ever could have imagined.

Not only did his body stay healthy,

but he got bigger,

and bigger and stronger.

To the point now where we do send the therapy

so he doesn't get any bigger.

(laughing)

Yeah.

- Tryin' to lose weight so the nurses aren't

breakin' their backs trying to pick me up.

(laughing)

- And the inventor, the guy who invented the stuff,

he's marveled.

Like he uses Drew as his pitch guy now

to sell this product.

'Cause he'd come out to the door with his measuring tape

and measure his thighs and his arms,

and they were like all over 100% increase, 115, 125%.

I mean arms went from this to this,

and you know legs went from this to that.

You know, I mean you can see how thick his thighs are.

He's stronger than me

even though he can't move it on his own.

He's definitely ready to be lifted up out of that chair.

Absolutely.

- So once all these resources and this infrastructure

was established for you,

what was it like to step back into the world

and go to school, and socialize?

- That part's easy.

Ever since forever, school's been easy.

Socializing, that's just fun.

That's me living.

That's me doing what I would be doing anyway.

And that's why everybody should have the opportunity

to be themselves, to do what they would be doing otherwise.

This isn't the end.

This is not a limitation.

There's nothing you can't do.

(upbeat instrumental music)

- [Narrator] Stress, depression

and severe mental illness can happen to anyone.

Team Mental Health Services

has been helping those struggling

with these conditions in Southeastern Michigan.

Within 24 hours of reaching out to our team,

members receive psychiatric evaluations,

and begin the necessary treatment for recovery.

Team Mental Health Services,

because we care, and you can.

(upbeat instrumental music)

- Most people come through traumas fairly well

with the support of their family and friends

and their own inner resources.

People who haven't been traumatized in the past,

people with high levels of functioning,

people with good support systems

who were able to experience themselves

as capable of coping

at the moment of the loss,

do much better.

In the case of recovery from a major bodily loss,

requires a sense of hopefulness,

a sense of ability to cope,

ability to get through things

and that may come from any number of different things.

It may come from religious faith.

It may come from all sorts of things.

So family support is very helpful.

Religious support is very helpful.

All of those things help people to get through these things

much better than somebody else might.

- Today we are talking with Drew Clayborn.

A 22 year old quadriplegic about faith and will,

and his triumph over catastrophe.

Elizabeth Atkins continues.

- Special equipment,

24 hour care,

how do you manage that financially?

- God, He provides. (laughing)

Well we started a non-profit

that we raised money to help others

with brain and spinal cord injury.

But it also still serves Drew.

We have two specific events for him every year,

there's a golf outing and a run.

Our golf outing does great.

Our 5k, 10k is still building.

And so, we also have some angel supporters

who don't wanna be mentioned,

don't wanna be talked about.

But they actually send money to his trusts

on a monthly basis to help pay for his nurses

or pay for expenses,

or his transportation or whatever.

And, again, it was all miracles.

I mean, I meet someone, tell 'em the story.

They like the story,

they fall in love with Drew,

they wanna help.

The fact that he was in college

after everything that happened to him,

they all know somebody who would've just gave up,

has inspired a lot of people

to want to be part of his story.

- Drew, how has this effected you?

- With all this support

that I've gotten since my accident,

and seeing how other people are living

in similar situations as mine,

I always wanna give back.

And for me, for the non-profit,

it's a huge goal to have it be largely for other people

and not me.

I'd much rather do anything,

any type of fundraisers for other people.

And to give them, to pay it forward,

and show along this support that we've gotten,

and to help others as well.

- Can you share with us some of the technological tools

that you use?

For example, college students write papers.

How do you write a paper?

- My phone is a big part of it

'cause a lot of the time when everybody else,

when they pass out papers to read,

when they hand out pamphlets that you need to look at,

I always have to make sure they have electronic copy,

and I'll pull it up on my phone,

and read it on there.

And then, my chair is pretty heavy duty. (laughing)

'Cause it has to endure a lot.

I will say this, once I'm in my chair,

I'm much more stable,

and much more independent,

because between--

- Oh, extremely independent.

- Yeah, between my chair and my phone,

I can do almost anything.

Especially in my room,

'cause I'll have it set up

to where I can use my phone

to control the TV, the lights, the thermostat

and that's everything at home.

On campus, I can just control my computer from my phone.

- His music.

- And so, right? Music.

And it's a big part of my mentality

because it gives me a lot of freedom,

a lot of independence,

and so when I'm up in my chair,

really my mannerisms are still the same

as before my accident.

And really gives me a lot of control and independence.

And allows me to do the things I do comfortably

and not have to think about it.

- So Drew, what are your plans for the future?

- I wanna cure a major illness,

or at least work in somewhere,

in a field that's working on

Cancer, muscular dystrophy or stem cells or anything.

The cure for paralysis is already in the works somewhere,

and if they need my help, I'd be willing.

I'd be happy to go help with that.

That's where I'm excited,

and just for personal reasons.

It's definitely somethin' close to me,

and something I'm interested in,

and that's what I'd like to work on.

- So what message would you like to leave the viewers

of Mi Healthy Mind today?

- Every single person has a story.

And each of us can learn something

from each other's stories.

So, I would encourage everybody to just go out

and learn other people's stories.

Go sit with people, talk with people,

and just see what you can learn

from someone else's story.

- Drew and LeDon, you are two remarkable people.

We're so grateful for you

to share your story here today.

I'm certain you'll inspire many people.

- Well thanks for having us.

It was a pleasure to be here.

- Thank you.

- You're welcome.

Why Are We Afraid of the Dark? - Duration: 5:12.

[♩ INTRO]

Were you scared of the dark growing up?

Or maybe you still are!

It's not too uncommon for adults either.

When you're young, being afraid of the dark

goes hand in hand with some other fears, like of ghosts, monsters, or other spooky things.

And as you get older, you might not use that sort of explanation anymore.

But these irrational fears still stick around, because there are a lot of ways we learn to

be afraid.

The good news is: research has found out that there are ways to fight those fears, too.

The way we usually develop fears is a well-understood part of psychology.

Most of the time, it's through classical conditioning.

This is when you pair a neutral stimulus — something that doesn't make you feel anything — with

something that you have an automatic reaction to.

Like, imagine a person who's generally cool with dogs.

But then, a dog bites her and she has to go to the hospital.

That'd make anybody freak out a bit.

Then, the neutral stimulus can become a conditioned stimulus, which gives you the same automatic

reaction.

In other words, after that experience, this person is more likely to be afraid when she

sees a dog.

Some phobias, which are extreme or irrational fears, can be caused by classical conditioning,

including a fear of the dark.

Research in animals and humans has found that conditioned responses are probably linked

with the amygdala.

That's a brain region that becomes active when people are afraid, or have a lot of high-arousal

emotions, like excitement and anger.

So conditioned fears kind of make sense: they're based on something that happened to you.

And some surveys have found that most children have had a bad experience with the thing they're

scared of, like spiders or the dark.

But other phobias are of things that you've never actually experienced.

Like, arachnophobia is one of the top fears in the world, but most people haven't actually

been attacked by spiders.

Some survey results, including one sample of over 1,000 children and teenagers, suggest

that we might learn these fears because of modeling.

Like, when your older brother sees a spider and freaks out, so you do too.

Or, where shark attacks are a huge threat, or a horror movie where the killer lurks in

the darkness.

Even more common in that survey was learning through instructional fear acquisition — when

someone tells you to be afraid of something.

This can happen if your mom warns you to watch out for snakes, or when news broadcasters

talk about terrorist attacks, even though the actual statistics say you're much more

likely to die of something like a heart attack.

This is because people tend to use an availability heuristic in their reasoning, meaning they

use what's readily available to their mind.

It's hard to remember the exact statistics about terrorism and heart disease, but boy,

that last story you saw on the news sticks with you.

And it probably wasn't about a heart attack.

In fact, when researchers run studies and try to condition people to fear something

neutral — like associating a certain tone with a mild shock — they're more successful

if they tell people what to be afraid of beforehand.

Now, across all these studies, some psychologists noticed a weird pattern: some phobias are

easier to create than others in certain species.

For example, scientists have observed that it's easier for primates to develop a fear

of snakes or spiders — but not of something like rabbits.

They call this phenomenon biological preparedness.

We can't say for sure why it happens, but one idea is that these fears are somehow ingrained

from our ancestors' behaviors.

Like, all mammals might be more wary around snakes and lizards, because the first mammals

could've been eaten by ancient reptiles.

Some ecologists looked into an evolutionary reason for fearing the dark, based on a risk

from predators, by studying some regions of Tanzania where lion attacks are a threat to

humans.

Using data from over two decades and over a thousand lion attacks, they found that most

attacks occurred right after sunset, when it's dark but people are still wandering

around.

But they also found that attacks were up to four times more common in the ten days after

a full moon than the period before, which is when the darkest part of the night is also

right after sunset.

So if that pattern of lions attacking humans in the dark was also true millennia ago, it's

possible that some early humans became conditioned to fear the dark or the full moon.

Scientists have guessed that people might be predisposed to be afraid of the dark because

we adapted to a risk of predator attacks.

But this is one of the first studies suggesting that darkness actually increased that risk.

But it's worth taking these evolutionary hypotheses with a grain of salt.

It's not like anyone's run a study where they assigned some people to a lion-risk condition

and others to a no-lion condition, and then waited for generations to see what fears develop.

So we've got a couple good ideas about where phobias come from.

And if you have a phobia, psychologists have found ways to treat them.

Many randomized trials show that one of the most effective treatments is called exposure

therapy, which is essentially just conditioning in reverse.

You slowly expose yourself to what you're afraid in small doses — like turning off

the light for five seconds, being in the same room as a spider, or meeting groups of strangers

— until you don't have a bad reaction anymore.

Then you move the spider a little closer, leave the lights out longer, or meet more

people — until the phobia has less power over you.

Now, fear is a really complicated thing.

So if you love being scared by things like horror movies, check out our video about why

psychologists think that happens.

The Weirdest Things People Have Gotten Arrested For! - Duration: 10:12.

Here are some of the most ridiculous things people have been arrested for!

9 - Wait, how much?!

A 21 year old North Texas man named Charles Ray Fuller was arrested back in 2008 trying

to cash a check.

That's not really that crazy right?

People try these scams all the time.

It wasn't just the act of cashing the check, but it was the amount that really did him

in!

He tried cashing a three hundred and sixty BILLION dollar check, because he quote, "needed

to begin a record business".

Obviously, tellers at the Fort Worth bank were instantly suspicious.

Maybe the 10 zeros on the check tipped them off.

Fuller said his girlfriend's mom gave him the check.

However, she told the tellers that she didn't give him consent to take or cash the check!

To put icing on the cake, Fuller walked in with 2 ounces of that funky stuff in addition

to a grunt.

This guy just wanted some extra charges on his record I guess!

8 - Wedding Hoax What would you guys do to NOT admit committing

a big mistake on your wedding day?!

Neil McArdle, 36, basically completely dropped the ball in booking the venue where he was

supposed to have his wedding.

But he couldn't find it in himself to tell his fiancee, Amy Williams, that he forgot

to book the venue.

So what'd he do?

He thought it was a great idea to just call in a mom threat to the building instead!

The call was made just 11 days after the well publicized Boston marathon calming that happened

in the US.

When the two families arrived at the building in Liverpool, the area was swarmed with police.

After the building was checked and staff attempted to help with the supposed postponed wedding,

the staff found that no reservations were actually made for the event.

McArdle's future in-laws were suspicious at that point and the bride's sister was overheard

by police telling a bothered McArdle that HE likely was the one who had called it in!

Police obviously did their investigation, and once they put two and two together, they

placed McArdle under arrest.

Unfortunately for McArdle, he was sentenced to a year in prison for the stunt he pulled.

7 - Cop Impersonation A Florida man thought he had come up with

the perfect plan to get some discounted donuts: Claim to be a cop.

However, one clerk finally caught on to his act and decided to call his bluff.

Charles Barry, 48, was arrested after the local police department set up a mini sting

with an undercover deputy to catch Barry in the act.

Apparently Barry had previously made multiple visits to the Dunkin' Donuts, flashed his

deceased father's New Jersey police badge and claimed to be a U.S. Marshal in order

to receive discounts on doughnuts.

Police said they found a .38-caliber revolver in his pocket during the arrest, as well as

ammunition in the vehicle.

Barry was charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer and improper exhibition

of a firearm or dangerous weapon.

He was released $5,150 bail.

Really, how much money did he save doing this and how could it have possibly been worth

it?!

6 - Maybe he just wanted a free session?

If you guys ever wanna rob anyone, here's a bit of advice: Try not to rob anyone that's

really good at defending themselves.

Specifically, don't burglarize anyone that's trained in any sort of Mixed Martial Arts!

This basically is the biggest lesson 30-year-old Matthew Lloyd learned in the most difficult

way possible when he strolled into Defiant MMA and Fitness in Burbank, California.

Lloyd entered the studio carrying a black bag and approached one of the instructors

in an aggressive way.

As he reached inside his bag, a scuffle began between him and the instructor — 34-year-old

Jacobe Powell.

Powell was able to stop Lloyd from using the bun that he was reaching for, and he and his

students were able to call the police.

Although there wasn't an exact description of what Powell and his students employed,

let's just say Lloyd left the gym with the police a bit dazed and disoriented!

I mean, really though, how much money do MMA gyms really have?!

5 - Just wait a few hours!

If you guys have a sibling in jail, don't try to break them out of jail by going in

yourself!

Monique Armstrong obviously didn't get this memo when she tried to climb over razor wire

and smash cell windows at the Mesa County Jail in Colorado in an attempt to set her

brother free from jail.

Apparently, before deciding to do this crime, she actually had called 911 beforehand telling

them that she was going to the correctional facility to help her 18-year-old brother get

out!

Talk about the element of surprise!

Armstrong was actually discovered stuck in the chain-link fence and razor wire.

Cops were alerted when an edge fence alert went off.

After she was taken into custody, Armstrong then attempted to break the shatterproof windows

where she was held.

She actually made a request to be arrested, and wanted to be held closer to her brother!

She was put in jail for driving under the influence, driving the wrong way, and possession

of rug paraphernalia.

Her brother Michael actually was released on bond only a few hours after he was arrested,

and if she had just waited a few hours, she probably could have just waited for him at

home!

4 - What, another selfie?

Two teenage girls might have gotten away with a robbery last March, if it weren't for

an incriminating "selfie" they took moments before the crime.

The two unnamed underaged girls, who are actually cousins, snapped a picture of themselves in

black ski masks and holding a large kitchen knife just before the robbery.

The older of the two girls had actually robbed a burger place in southern Sweden several

months earlier, and made off with nearly $400.

Apparently, it only took police just 47 minutes to track the girls down using a sniffer dog.

The dog was able to lead police to the home of the older girl's grandmother.

Officers found a bag filled with the stolen money and the phone with the incriminating

picture.

To be honest, the fact that these girls were caught by a dog with a great nose might have

been a little unlucky, but to help the police make it a open and shut case with the incriminating

selfie right before the crime goes down has got to be one of the dumber things to do!

3 - Wait just a few more minutes Talk about being at the right place at the

right time, and fulfilling some cliches.

Stephen M. White decided that he wanted to rob a Dunkin Donuts one early in June 2017.

However, what he failed to notice was that there was a cop that was standing around in

FULL uniform waiting for his order when he went in.

When he went inside, he decided to go ahead with his plan anyways, although he did have

a little bit of sense to wait.

White first entered the Dunkin Donuts made a request to use the restroom.

Apparently that's around the time the officer left through the front door.

White decided not to wait any longer, and he demanded cash from the cashier.

But somehow, one of the employees was able to run outside and get the officer's attention

to stop the burglary in progress.

All the officer simply had to do was just wait for White to step outside to arrest him.

White was found with a paper bag filled with several hundred dollars of stolen money.

I mean, why didn't he just wait until the cop drove off with his bag of donuts and coffee?!

2 - A mini call for help?

Is it really that much fun to take a selfie while getting tackled and arrested?

Three girls from Nebraska apparently think so, as they filmed themselves running out

onto the field at a College World Series game.

Kayleigh, Emily, and Torrie Hill all earned themselves a fifteen hundred dollar fine for

their antics.

The girls, thought to be sisters, were actually trying to raise funds on twitter to cover

the fine, and once they somehow got the pledges going, they ran onto the field.

They got everything on camera in their brush with the law, including some pretty hilarious

photos of them getting wrestled off the field by security guards.

They were able to upload the video to vine as well.

These young ladies were handled and removed from the field by security.

One of the girls tweeted 'Ask me if it was worth it, It was,'.

Another girl even attempted to get a date with one of the security guards who tackled

her by tweeting quote, "I hope the guy who tackled me follows me, Shawty you was fiiiiiine".

Sigh.

1 - Another selfie gone wrong Seriously, what is it with people doing crime

and selfies?

A Brooklyn man posted a photo of himself on his Facebook page showing off a fun he allegedly

used in a Michigan bank robbery — and of course, he was caught by the FBI.

Jules Bahler decided to take a picture of himself holding his fun (pronounced gun) and

post it on his facebook page, because you know, he just needed that attention more than

he needed his freedom!

Bahler, who refers to himself as "King Romeo" on his Facebook page, posted the photo the

caption, "Bought my first house and chopper today…..lifes great."

Yep, choppers and houses go hand in hand!

Apparently, that same day that he took the selfies, Bahler had robbed a bank of roughly

7 thousand dollars in Bay City, Michigan using the same funds he took selfies with.

He also committed two similar crimes earlier in Pontiac, Michigan, robbing a credit union

of $4,300 and a Bank of America branch of $4,000.

A day after the Bay City robbery, cops found out about his Facebook page, and basically

it was a wrap!

They were able to match Bahler's face with pictures of the robber's face captured by

bank surveillance cameras.

His facebook page also showed picture of a house in Pontiac, which the FBI and local

sheriff's deputies began staking out.

After Bahler emerged from the house and drove off in his car, cops stopped him, and found

everything in a duffle bag in the car.

The best part is, before his arrest, a friend tried to warn him about the selfie under his

picture!

I guess his friends knew what he was up

to anyways!

Here's what's next!

Legally Speaking: Part 1 - Duration: 7:00.

hello and welcome to tips for the transition I'm María Tomás-Keegan life

transition coach for professional women and your host let's get right into our

discussion the title is legally speaking legal resources and human elements we're

talking about this today because I personally felt very uncomfortable and a

little scared about what I didn't know when it came to the legal matters around

some of the transitions I've been through and I hear this from my clients

as well what do we need to know when we're going through a divorce or we have

lost a loved one and there's an estate to manage or we're preparing for

retirement just to name a few my guest Elizabeth Westby is going to help us

answer a few questions about this human journey into the legal realm Elizabeth

is an attorney who specializes in family law estate planning and probate what

strikes me as unique is that Elizabeth believes that as an attorney her primary

role is to be a resource for her clients to guide them to make the best decisions

for their particular situation she is one of those caring attorneys who

restores our faith in the legal system so let's get her on now

hello Elizabeth hello María thank you very much for the kind introduction for

having me on today you you are so welcome I'm glad you're here because

this is an area that a lot of people are concerned about and have questions about

so I'd love to just jump right into it with you are you okay with that please

yes so in your experience what are some of the reasons that women in transition

might want to hire an attorney a woman in a transition really wants

to talk with an attorney because she's finding herself in an unusual situation

she's uncertain and you know she wants to gain some perspective and she's

trying to make decisions but because she doesn't really know what she's

navigating through that's kind of the basis of a transition or any type of

crisis honestly she needs sort of guidance so you know this may be an

actual legal issue that she has to come talk about maybe it's property division

you know maybe it is her mother's estate plan it could be it could be really

anything on the legal side but sometimes it's really just planning and bouncing

ideas off your attorney and what I do want to say is that

even if you know she thinks that a question is stupid or basic or that she

should know this and she should be expected to know especially as as

professional women you know we're excellent at presenting ourselves as

very knowledgeable in our workplace but then of course there are those things in

our personal lives that we're not so sure about and that's the time when

you're sitting down and you're alone with your attorney to ask those

questions that maybe you might be embarrassed of and the reason is not

because you're trying to overcome some sort of barrier of embarrassment but

because your attorney needs to know your attorney needs to know what you

understand where you're coming from and you need to understand the advice coming

from counsel so it's very important to have that open dialogue and guarantee the

attorneys heard it before I like going to the doctor you know a knee is a knee so

the idea is really to at least in my opinion to leave the client in a better

position than when they came to me originally and so understanding each

other is important and then really consulting with a legal professional in

a time of transition can be a means of simply navigating through that

transition gaining that peace of mind that that you

know that you're not going to make a decision without knowing your options

and risks and it's really ultimately getting the women in transition really

helps place her in a better position for that next phase in her life well

unfortunately our time has come to the add to the end here we try to keep these

videos pretty short and consumable for our listeners but I know there's just a

lot more we could share with you and I could probably chapter ours and we have

but I want to leave our listeners with the offer of your free gift to help them

for their human journey into the legal realm so to request your free gift from

Elizabeth please take note of the link at the bottom of the screen or click on

it in the description below the video and if you have questions about it I'm

I'm again a resource that's great thank you so much for being with us today

Elizabeth and thank you all our listeners for watching today I hope

there is at least one little aha moment or one tidbit of advice that you found

that will help you better inform you on your journey so I'd like to leave you

with one more thought sometimes the bad things that happen in our lives put us

on a direct path toward the best things that will happen for us in our lives

till the next time I'm María Tomás-Keegan

FUNNY A$$ CHATTY GRWM // MY GO-TO LOOK! - Duration: 12:05.

Hey guys, it's Annika. Welcome to my channika.

Your girl is a little bit moist.

I'll just start with that.

It's raining out, and I washed my hair last night.

And usually it takes my hair a while to get greasy,

but for some reason, the moistness in the air

has gone to my hair. That rhymed!

And now my hair is moist.

Um, but my makeup . . . I don't know.

I'm just feeling kind of crusty,

and it's been a while since I've done

a little "Get Ready With Me."

I feel like I only do tutorials

and talk-through videos nowadays.

So I'm gonna take off this makeup.

I'm gonna carefully

remove around my eyebrows, though.

That is so hot.

Um . . .

So . . .

Uh . . .

There's really nothing to talk about at all whatsoever.

I hate myself.

What do people normally talk about

during talk-through Get Ready With Me's?

I'm just gonna be doing like basic . . .

I'm not even gonna be doing foundation,

because a b-- doesn't have time for that.

And also, foundation . . .

Recently, I haven't really been wearing foundation.

I'm wearing it right now,

just because I wanted to.

Like, by the time I get home from school,

it just looks super crusty.

Like, I already look super crusty.

I don't want to look crustier.

Ha! I look like I'm s-ing a d---.

Hahahaha. Get it? Because, like, p--?

I'm in a cute mood. Like, I feel cute internally,

and then I look in the mirror,

and I'm just like, "Oh!"

This is a really drastic change

from the sad video I posted a few days ago.

But, you know what?

Life has its ups - Oh, cute! - life has its ups and downs,

you know? Like, it will get better.

The other day I was feeling kind of down.

Even today, honestly. Today was a sh--y day,

but I'm choosing to block that out and bottle it all up,

because that's healthy. Right?

I also hate these frickin' makeup wipes.

They're the Yes to Cucumbers.

I'm just using them up because they are the only

cruelty free makeup wipes I have atm.

That means "at the moment," for all of you not-cool kids.

Moist. Okay can we just talk about

why a lot of people don't like the word "moist"?

I have no f-ing idea.

Honestly, I think has something to do with

the oi . . . oist . . . oyster . . .oister . . .

Oisterlund.

For me, the words that I hate end in "ies."

I hate "jammies," "panties," "undies."

"Parties," I'm fine with.

I just don't like "jammies," "panties," and "undies."

"Panties" and "undies" make me cringe so much.

Maybe it's just the fact that it's underwear.

Underwear!

But I feel like it's just mostly the "ies."

Potty? Potty kills me.

Oh my god, I remember . . .

Storytime:

So I went to this camp.

And I was in the youngest cabin for like eight years.

All my other friends had moved up,

but I was literally there for like three frickin years.

So I was like 11, and in a cabin filled with 8-year olds.

I don't know why. I don't know how.

I was just blessed, I guess.

It was a Christian camp, so it was God's doing.

I was in a cabin with a bunch of 8-year-olds.

And while I still don't think it's okay

to talk to 8-year-olds like this,

I think it's even worse to talk to 11-year olds like this.

My counselor turns to me and goes,

"Do you need to go potty?"

I hate it when people ask me if I'm like 7 or 9.

I'm 11, so shut the f-- up!

My mood at that point.

Ooh, I'm moist.

So I've successfully taken off all my eye makeup.

I hate . . . do you see how raw my skin is right here?

I hate these makeup wipes

so f-ing much. I'm about to throw some hands, b--.

If you guys watched my

"It Gets Better" - whatever - video.

you would know that this is good

if you have issues right here,

if your eyes are hot because you've been crying a lot.

I haven't been crying, but like

these kind of make my face feel like I've been crying.

I hate them so much.

If you guys have any good

cruelty free makeup removers,

I don't care if they're wipes or . . .

I would prefer them to be wipes,

because I don't really like to waste cotton pads.

But you know what? If the best ones are in a bottle

or in a

different form, I'll deal with it.

Who is excited for Christmas or Hanukkah or Kwanzaa?

I'm gonna take the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer

in the shade "Light Ivory."

They need to work on their shade range, honey.

This is the wrong shade for me,

and it's the lightest shade.

Like, do you see? So, yeah.

And this is gonna be my natural no-makeup look.

I might do some fake freckles. Who knows?

But usually, when I'm doing a natural makeup look,

I don't put concealer directly onto my eyelid . . .

[voice cracking]

because I feel like it looks so caked.

I just look so caked the f-- up.

So usually I'll just get a little bit of concealer

on my BeautyBlender, and then

bring that onto my eyelid.

Honestly, I don't know what the f-- I'm talking about.

That's just me, and that's just my face.

Maybe if you feel like

you've been looking really extra pale,

maybe try not priming your eyelids.

I'm not making any sense. I'm just gonna show it now.

I'm using my Real Techniques Beauty Sponge.

Did you guys see that on Ulta they're selling

their Real Techniques Beauty Sponge in a holiday set?

And you get like 12 of them, and it's $50.

Like, I feel like . . . they're like $7 each.

I feel like . . . 7 x 12 . . .

What's 7 x 12?

7 x 10 is 7. . . Oh.

I guess maybe $50 is a reasonable price.

But at the same time,

why would you want 12 beauty sponges at once?

Like, you're definitely just gonna lose them all.

If you just use one at a time, you're gonna lose them all.

If you use all of them at a time,

you're gonna lose them all.

See what I mean? When I prime my eyelids,

I just started to look really . . .

I just look very monotone.

And when I'm not wearing foundation,

and a lot of different products

that are gonna differentiate my skin . . .

I'm just gonna shut up.

I'm gonna take the Coty Airspun Powder,

which I f-ing wish were cruelty free.

The day that Coty goes cruelty free is literally the day

that I film myself shoving a fork up my a--.

So literally, email Coty and be like,

"Yo. Annika Osterlund, world renowned beauty YouTuber

said that she will shove a fork up her a-- on camera

if you guys go cruelty free, so please go cruelty free."

And they'll be like, "Oh girl, I got you!"

Can I get a Hoo-ya?

I'm gonna put my hair up

so I look even more like sexy --- beast.

Oh hell, yeah.

Okay, I'm gonna take . . .

Oh yes.

I'm gonna take the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer

on this IBY Beauty angled brush.

Oops.

Can somebody tell me why there are so many

all-shimmer eyeshadow palettes coming out?

Like, why? Why would you want that?

I don't understand why anybody would buy that.

I mean, I definitely wouldn't.

I look like I have sideburns. Honestly?

Recently, I haven't even been doing eyeshadow looks

with shimmer in them.

I'll just do all-matte eyeshadow looks.

Either I'll put a matte color on my lid,

or I'll just skip out on a lid shade altogether.

I don't know. I just think it's kind of weird.

Why would you want an all-shimmer palette?

This looks so bad.

Why is my life just going so downhill, so fast?

That turned into something way deeper than makeup.

I'm gonna just try doing this beauty guru technique.

Nah. It still looks like trash, fam.

I'm gonna contour my nose a little bit,

because I hate the shape of my nose.

Actually, my nose is really small.

I don't know why I'm contouring it.

I actually want to get a nose job

so I can make it bigger.

Like, I just hate my profile.

Fun fact about me.

While we're at it, I'll just be extra and contour

all the little crevices of my face

that I secretly hate, as well.

Hell, yeah. Alrighty b--s.

I don't know what I'm doing.

[burp]

Do I take "Smoke N Whistles" by Colourpop?

Or do I take "Flexitarian?"

I think . . . Oooh, I think "Smoke N Whistles"

is calling my name.

I'm not the biggest fan of Colourpop highlighters,

just because I feel like they turn really glittery

by the end of the day.

My favorite highlighter

will forever remain the OFRA one.

I mean, I know these are the Super Shock ones.

I haven't tried their best ones.

I actually have their highlighter palette.

Like the first highlighter palette they came out with.

But I haven't tried it. I've literally had it for like a year,

and I haven't tried it.

Just because I can't resist,

I'm gonna put the OFRA Highlighter in Rodeo Drive

on top of it.

Octoly is sending me their highlighter

in the shade "Blissful," and I'm so excited.

If you don't know Octoly, it's like,

if you make YouTube videos

and you have a certain amount of subscribers,

then you can sign up to get free products.

And all you have to do is just give an honest review.

They don't care if it's positive or negative.

They're not gonna contact you

if it's negative, or whatever.

They just want an honest review.

Link in the bio.

Yep. Yeah, boy.

Now that we're frickin' poppin' as sh--,

we're gonna cake on some mascara.

I've been currently obsessed with the

Essence Volume Stylist Lash Extension Mascara.

It's the purple one.

I also love the Essence purple Lash Princess.

This one is mad dry, and this one is wicked wet. Moist.

I wish they would make a healthy medium.

Because this one is such a dry formula,

like, drier than the Better Than Sex,

drier than a grandma p--.

But that one is wetter than, like,

wetter than Kim Kardashian, basically.

When I put on mascara, it is a really spiritual experience.

It's a religious experience, honestly.

Very strategic, and it's very personal,

very sentimental to me.

I need to make sure that I'm doing it perfectly.

I do it slowly. I do a lot of coats,

because I want my eyelashes to break the f-- off.

I literally do three coats of mascara

every single f-ing day. But . . .

I have been trying out this lash serum. I'll go grab it.

This is GrandeLASH-MD Lash Enhancing Serum.

They sell it at Sephora, but Octoly sent me mine.

Honestly, when I ordered it, my mom's like,

"That's just gonna make your eyelashes fall out.

Why would you just order something

from Octoly without . . . "

And I was like, "Maybe we can get a good lawsuit

out of it." So like,

either my eyelashes get longer,

or I get a sh-- ton of money.

I've been using this on my brows

and on my eyelashes,

and a lot of you guys have been saying

my brows look way better.

And I'm filling them in the same way that I usually do.

They're just so much thicker

and they're easier to fill in, basically.

Which, honestly? Lifesaver!

My eyelashes have gotten a little bit longer,

but honestly, I think they're just maintaining

at a constant length.

Because I literally cake on four layers of mascara,

and then when I take it off,

I'm just basically taking off my entire eyelash.

So like, that's cool.

You know what? I do it for the Tube . . . the YouTube,

not for the RedTube.

If you don't know what RedTube is,

please don't Google it.

Or if you do, go on incognito.

I feel really bad for the kids at my school,

because they had to meet me at this time in my life,

where I'm going through such a hard time.

And so they think that this is what I'm actually like,

when, in fact, I am nothing like this.

I'm actually a relatively emotionally stable person.

That was kind of bulls--.

I'm actually a relatively like . . .

not quiet, but I can keep my emotions within myself.

But for some reason, recently, I've just like,

when there's a problem, I go and I talk about it.

And I don't know why.

They just like . . . everybody's met me

at just a wrong point in my life.

I wish that they could have met me

midway through last year, when I was doing well.

So that kind of sucks.

Because now they all think that I'm this

really emotional annoying piece of sh--.

And the annoying part, they got right.

Like, that doesn't change.

But I'm definitely not as emotional normally.

And it kind of sucks.

But hopefully, once I'm in the right mindset,

I can revisit those people

that are having some issues with me

and we can try and work things out.

But that's why I am a strong advocate

for education on mental health.

Because I think that when people don't know

about mental health, then they just

think that you're f-ing apesh--, which . . .

It's actually taken me like 10 minutes

to put on mascara. What am I telling you?

This is such a big deal to me.

Like, I need to make sure that

the outer lashes are really all coated,

and they're all super long.

And then, the inner lashes . . .

It has a nice gradual . . .

I don't know. I look like a f-ing spider

Hell, yeah. Oh hell, yeah.

Doesn't mascara . . . just like, don't I look so much

less crusty now? I am honestly ecstatic.

Erratic. Erotic. Haha. Get it? Because, like, p--?

I'm gonna go back into the OFRA Highlighter.

I'm gonna take a little brush.

This is the MUA 315 brush.

It definitely has brown eyeshadow on it,

but we'll just cry about it, honestly.

And I'm gonna put that on my inner corner.

Oh hell, yeah.

Get those golden eye boogers poppin!

And it actually looks like I have golden eye boogers.

I don't know. Should I do freckles or no?

I don't think I'm gonna do freckles.

Oh hell, yeah.

I feel a lot more cute now. I'll just be honest.

When I'm not wearing foundation,

I feel a thousand times cuter than

when I am wearing foundation.

I just feel like I can see everything

when I'm wearing foundation.

Whereas, right now, I still look like a f-ing toe.

Well, okay. Thank you guys so much for watching.

I'm sorry this was like a random a-- 20 minute video.

It's literally 21 minutes, so I'll probably edit it down

to like 5 minutes, but . . .

I just think it's sometimes nice to sit back

and chillax with you guys,

and have a real-life conversation about sh--.

It's basically me talking to an inanimate object

for like 20 minutes. Like, that's kind of weird.

But it's okay.

Love you guys!

Thank you guys so much for watching.

Please comment, rate, subscribe, and

keep on

getting ready with me!

Also, I feel like I don't say this enough, but

I love you guys so much.

I love each and every single one of you.

If you're having a bad day, you will get through it.

Things that make you unhappy are not worth your time.

So yeah. Bye.
