Tonight we're going to be talking about using Essential Oils and also Natural Remedies on
children, babies, as well as pregnancy and labor support.
I will be referencing the book Gentle Babies by Debra Raybern.
This book has over 2 decades of professional knowledge, tried and true techniques, first-hand
testimonials benefitting both experienced and first-time mothers.
Or those wanting to be mothers.
Pregnancy is a joyous time in someone's life and it also can be very confusing.
Using Essential Oils on yourself while you're pregnant and then later on babies and kids
is definitely a personal choice.
There is a lot of conflicting information out there.
There are studies that have been publishing talking about the safety.
Some of those studies would suggest not using anything on children under the age of 10.
This book has over thousands of testimonials of real people, real mothers, children, babies
using oils and they've had no ill effects.
The oils that we are talking about are specific to Young Living.
I don't endorse any other oil brands that are out there.
So just know, that anything that you hear about tonight is specific to the Young Living
brand of oils because of their purity and their Seed to Seal standard.
That is the only one's I would suggest.

#2 Gentle Babies- Lemon, Peppermint, & Copaiba - Duration: 4:02.
Let's talk Oils! So some of these are going to be for children, babies, and some of them
are for Mama. If you are a Young Living member then you probably have a starter
kit like this and this guy. That's the great thing is that there are 11
oils in here the majority of them can be used on everyone and it really is just
up to your preference and so I will go ahead and start with lemon. So lemon is a
very energizing oil. So if anyone's in a Crabby mood, this is something diffusing
lemon can really uplift your spirits Lemon is also something great to cook with
add to smoothies another thing I would use lemon for is sticky
residues so I tried this one out it does get rid of the sticky residue like
trying to get off a price tag or you know better than like using goo-gone. I
have a friend where kids put stickers all over the car window and there's a
lot of residue there so she needs a big bottle of this. You can put this in your
cleaning products hopefully you're using thieves cleaner
but besides that lemon has tons and tons of uses. The next one peppermint
so peppermint is a little bit controversial when it comes to babies
and young children has a very strong scent and strong smell which has said
could lead to you know respiratory issues this is really going to be up to
preference a lot of the studies that are out there we're done on rats and
obviously they're not going to be testing studies on pregnant women or
babies. You can see the issue there and there haven't been any ill effects
recorded. The the ones that I was watching a video that Dr. Lindsay Elmore
had put out talking about peppermint and kind of debunking some of the studies
that were out there and the issue was it wasn't
unknown source containing menthol which peppermint does contain and it was you
know in large quantities so as you know a mother you are the ultimate authority
for your own body and your kids trust your gut trust your instincts as they
say let go you know go low go slow so when introducing an essential oil to a
child of any age you just want to make sure that you are trusting your own
instincts and and like I said going slow but for peppermint this is great for a
type of stomach issues if you're just you know not feeling so well I know a
lot of pregnant people in the first couple of months have issues and that is
definitely something that can support you. I love peppermint it's just very
energizing uplifting and also is great for concentration and then moving on to
Copaiba. You see that copaiba is a very gentle oil copaiba is something
that it helps it supports inflammation and so you know if your child is
complaining or you know that's like oh I'm hurting then this is something great
that you can use in you know to support that inflammation so that is probably
the primary use of copaiba I like to use the epsom salts in a bath and put a drop
or two of this with some other essential oils and just especially after a tough
workout and love using copaiba

#3 Gentle Babies- Thieves & Digize - Duration: 3:26.
Moving on to Thieves... All hail Thieves! Sorry this backwards camera keeps
getting me! No wine here either. Thieves is the mother of all oils. I love
the scent of Thieves especially during the fall yes have go sweater on NorCal
it is cold here I'm freezing anyways this just smells like the fall you know
with the cinnamon and the clove the lemon love the smell of thieves but
let's get to what Thieves is for so thieves is a huge immune boosting
oil think before an airplane, back to school, going to a daycare. I have so many
friends that you know kids just went back to school or kids are in daycare
and they are just constantly getting sick it's just over and over and over
and over again and antibiotics really wipe out your system and then it just
makes it that much harder to recover so the Thieves oil is going to be immune
boosting. what you're gonna want to do there is dilute and you can put that on
the bottom of your child's feet. I know that my brother has said he just
doesn't like the smell of scents so putting oils on the feet is a great
place. It is probably the safest place for children because it's not a very
sensitive area of the body and if you are someone who doesn't like scents, crazy
to me.. but then you can put your socks on and you won't have a problem with it the
Young Living makes a whole line of Thieves which I love so there's like
hand soap cleaner so there's also a thieves spray which is a great one to
keep in your purse so when you go to the grocery store instead of using the wipes
they give you you can just use your thieves spray and clean that there and so
that is a good one to have on hand stroller and then also one of my friends
she calls it the "naughty mouth spray" because Thieves is safe to ingest
so if their kid is misbehaving you know or it says something naughty then it's a
you know a spray of a naughty mouth spray instead of putting the toxic soap
that maybe some of our parents put in our mouths as children I don't think I
had that one then instead use something that's good for them but you can call it
the naughty mouth spray and moving on to Digize. So Digize is for digestive
support. Digize is one that you'd want to dilute you can rub directly on
the tummy and that one is pretty self-explanatory. As an adult it doesn't
taste very good so I've tried putting it in like a juice no not having it I have
the vegetarian capsules so I just put a drop in the capsule along with a drop of
my v6 which is a blend of fatty oils like olive oil almond oil jojoba oil and
just take that internally if I'm having any digestive issues

#4 Gentle Babies- Purification, R.C. & Frankincense - Duration: 3:16.
Purification to purify all things smelly! Bottom of the diaper pail bottom of the
trashcan bathroom I like to put a drop on a
cotton ball and put it in the bottom of my trash can also you can put a drop on
the inside at the toilet paper roll have your guests wondering what smells so
good when they come to visit but just purifying your home this one smells
great especially if I have guests over I like to put this on so my house smells
really fresh and clean purification also has citronella in it
so instead of using a toxic bug spray you can use this as a natural repellent
I like to put mine in a spray bottle like this make a little cute labels and
just add some water add some witch hazel or vodka to keep it fresh and yeah
purification for all things smelly. Then RC. So RC which stands for
respiratory comfort if you've been watching my videos you know that this is
my oil! This is the oil that got me hooked, this is a oil that got me
feeling great, and all things respiratory. so this is definitely something that
you'd want to use I like to put it with some coconut oil and rub it right here
if I'm feeling like a little congested or you know I've got little issues there
so RC is definitely one that is a must-have in our house. RC does
contain eucalyptus which along with peppermint is one of the oils that you
would be cautionary with for you know using around children and small babies
so once again it's definitely up to you as a parent. I have plenty of friends
that have used all of these oils completely undiluted since their kids
were you babies but it's going to be up to you to make your decisions
and trust your gut. Then we've got frankincense so a lot
of Mama's like to bring this to the hospital and anoint their baby like
Jesus. With frankincense frankincense is a really gentle oil and
I think it smells great and it is all about skin so frankincense is really
skin supporting for for mamas it's great a drop in your lotion put it on your
face it helps with these guys and it's just really really refreshing you can
put a drop in the tub like I was telling you with the other oil copaiba this one
is also great in the tub it is another immune supporting oil and
one thing that I learned recently is that some Mama's that have had
c-sections they like to use this little guy to get rid of lines.

to keep the children of Western Mass
safe and strong.

Welcome to episode 24 of WMASSBIZ.
Nancy, thanks so much for being on the show.
- Thank you for having me.
- So tell us a little bit
about Spirit of the Heart Martial Arts Studio
and how you guys got started.
- I started this studio right here in Northampton
in 1993 and it started out of my passion
for helping children to feel safe and empowered
in their lives and it just took off from there.
- Which martial arts are taught here?
- We teach a rare Indonesian martial art.
With the kids, we focus on not only the martial art,
but also on social skills, exercises,
we role play everyday situations
that helps them feel more confident
and able to handle bullies.
So, it's a combination of empowerment,
building inner strength and the physical skills
they can have by practicing martial arts.
- Is it just for children or do you guys do adults too?
- We have a full adult program as well.
We really get into the Indonesian style of Silat,
which is an animal-based style.
It's very, very vigorous.
It's a great workout.
- And then what about times?
Is this mornings?
Is it afternoons?
Is it weekends?
- Most of the kids classes are held after school
and we have a Saturday class as well.
Adult classes are in the evenings.
I also wanted to tell you about the STRONG program,
which is our new STRONG self-defense
and empowerment program for kids
and women and LGBTQ and any population
that feels like they need self-defense.
We're just launching that program now
and it's different than martial arts
because you don't get all involved in the whole forms
and this doesn't take a long time to learn those skills.
It's everyday practical skills,
so I'm excited about that.
- And tell the listeners a little bit
about what could someone expect in that class?
Are you going to have headgear on?
Are you going to get hit?
Is it throwing?
- In the STRONG program, no.
You can be of any fitness level,
any size, any age.
You're just going to learn very simple techniques
to be safe.
There's sort of a myth about,
"Oh, I'm not strong enough."
But if you're hitting to the right areas on a person,
you can defend yourself.
I find it more of a mental thing for people,
thinking that they can't.
- Sure. - They can.
- What about special events?
Do you guys do any special events throughout the year?
- Yeah. We have birthday parties for kids all the time.
It's a great way to just drop the kids off,
you go have a cup of coffee.
We'll take care of everything.
We'll make them tired.
We'll serve them pizza.
We'll clean up the mess and you get to go home.
- "Make them tired." I've got a 5 and a 6,
so I understand "make them tired."
- Right.
And we're celebrating our 25th anniversary this year,
so we're going to have a big event in May,
which will be lots of demonstrations
and classes and a good time.

Bible Prophecy: 5 Important Questions - Duration: 8:14.
Hi, I'm training to be an end time Survivor.
I'm trying to listen and learn, so I can live through the last days.
Today, I'm going to provide answers for 5 questions
about Bible prophecies that get asked a lot of people.
1. Why are prophecies so hard to understand?
There are 2 answers.
i. God knows the future, but he has also given us free will.
Whatever he tells us about the future must take into account how our actions
are going to change as a result of what he has told us.
If God said, "You are going to die in a car accident",
you will almost certainly refuse to go near a car and you are free to do that,
so he will not tell you, even if it were going to happen.
However, if he wanted your family to know that your death would be part of a bigger plan
he might say something cryptic, like giving someone a dream about something good coming from a tragedy.
Then, after the accident has happened
you will understand that the dream was prophetic.
ii. Prophecy is not a game.
What God is looking for is faith,
our willingness to trust him even when we are not faced with overwhelming, compelling evidence.
He gives us just enough information to know that he's out there
and that he knows what he's doing.
But not so much as to take away our freedom to choose faith for the parts we don't understand.
2. Who is the Anti-Christ?
The Anti-Christ is the coming world ruler who will be extremely popular
but who will eventually turn on Christians, persecuting them all over the world.
As indicated in the first answer to the first question,
God sees there is no need for us to know ahead
who he is, lest we convince ourselves that we can save the world by killing him.
God will use the Anti-Christ to test our faith in him.
And he has given us a clue to make it clear when the actual Anti-Christ appears.
The numeric value of the letters in his name almost certainly, in Hebrew, will add up to six hundred and sixty six.
The Hebrew practice of assigning values for every letter in their alphabet is called gematria.
And should probably be applied to their own language.
For many decades people have played around with various number codes,
various other languages, and variations on the names of famous people
to make almost anyone's name add up to six hundred and sixty six
whereas in Hebrew this is not easy.
There is apparently only one name in the Bible which adds up to six hundred and sixty six
and that is an obscure name in the genealogies (Sethur, I think).
I've been told that the name Prince Arthur also adds up to six hundred and sixty six
as does Caesar Neron, a special spelling for Nero's name.
Nero died many years before the Revelation was written,
but he is seen as the prototype for the coming world leader.
3. What is the Mark of the Beast?
Very little is said about the Mark of the Beast in the Bible.
It appears to be some form of money, because the Bible says it will be used for buying and selling.
It also says that this Mark will be placed in the right hand or forehead of people all over the world
in the final few years before Jesus returns.
We are warned in the 14th chapter of the Revelation that God's wrath
will be poured out on anyone who accepts that Mark,
which in recent years has come to be recognized as the implantable RFID microchip
that is not being used in various experiments
relating to security clearance, stored health information, and buying and selling
Just like how you can buy something nowadays using your phone
what if you could use a microchip inside your hand instead?
They are about to do this to more than 50 of their employees.
It's the next thing that's inevitably gonna happen
Inevitably gonna happen
and we want to be a part of it.
We'll come up, scan the item, pay with credit card
and it's asking to swipe my proximity payment now. I'll hold my hand up
just like the cell phone and it will pay for my product.
Although Jesus never mentioned the Mark of the Beast directly
He had much to say about greed being the source of all evil in the world
and declared that we will either end up serving money, and all that it can buy,
or serving God.
On that basis, it could be argued
that people everywhere have already begun to serve the devil.
It's just that accepting the implantable RFID microchip
marks the point-of-no-return for any who take it.
4. Who are the two witnesses?
The Bible says there will be two powerful prophets in the end
in the last 3 and a half years before Jesus returns
who will perform many great miracles until they are finally killed in Jerusalem.
Based on various arguments, people have guessed that they might be Moses, Elijah, or Enoch
Because all three of those men appear to have gone to heaven without having died here on Earth.
However, Jesus said that John the Baptist was Elijah.
even though John was naturally conceived and even though John himself was unaware of such a connection.
This suggests that what Jesus meant was that John's ministry
was a fulfillment of a prophecy that was really referring to someone
coming with the same kind of power Elijah had.
It is quite likely that the two witnesses will also be people just like you and me
But that God will give them incredible power to testify to their authenticity.
5. Who are the 144 thousand?
The Revelation tells us that God will seal 144 thousand people
who follow the Lamb, Jesus, wherever he goes shortly before the start of the Great Tribulation.
Although these people are described as 12 tribes named after eleven of Jacob's sons
and one of Joseph's sons,
there is little reason to believe they are literal descendants of Jacob.
Their faithfulness to Jesus, the Lamb, and the disappearance of 10 of the 12 tribes of Israel
makes it pretty obvious that this elite group of believers are true believers of Jesus Christ.
Very likely they are the only people with genuine faith in Jesus Christ at the start of the Great Tribulation.
If so, then it gives and indication of just how rare true Christians must be in today's world.
Just 1 in every 50 - 100 thousand inhabitants.
