Youtube daily report Jan 27 2018

Wayfinding is actually something that everyone

does on a day-to-day basis.

It's the act of navigating your space and getting yourself from Point A to Point B.

Wayfinding as it exists at TransLink is providing people those tools to be able to navigate

through transit stations, bus exchanges and all of our facilities, and just across the

system in general.

Common things are directional signage, facility identifiers like as you're arriving on the

train, you'll get the name of the station pops up so you can tell where your train is arriving.

And of course, maps.

We have a full suite of different maps.

There are maps that will help you plan your trip.

There are maps that will help you as you exit the station, make your bus connections or find

local points of interests in five or ten minute walking area.

Soviet song (1937) - The song about Chapayev (English subtitles) - Duration: 3:20.

Leaden rains hit the Ural, A desperate battle begins to boil,

And Chapay, the partisan divcom, is fighting For the free working people.

And Chapay, the partisan divcom, is fighting For the free working people.

And the enemies occupy every inch, From each tower a gun looks.

But Chapayev was not used to retreat in battle, But Chapayev is always ahead.

But Chapaev was not used to retreat in battle, But Chapayev is always ahead.

A cloud of black is sneaking in the steppe at night, The horseshoe clatter is barely audible...

Oh, do not sleep, fighters! Oh, Chapaev, do not sleep! This is death sent by Kolchak.

Oh, do not sleep, fighters! Oh, Chapaev, do not sleep! This is death sent by Kolchak.

Wounded Chapay swam across the river, A bullet pierced his hand...

Do not make noise, river, do not drown, do not rock! Why you, river, are so wide!

Do not make noise, river, do not drown, do not rock! Why you, river, are so wide!

Waves groan in sadness and run forward... There is nobody... Only the wind is buzzing...

But Chapayev didn't die... Chapaev lives! He, like a banner, is always ahead!

But Chapayev didn't die... Chapaev lives! He, like a banner, is always ahead!

AYL Utah Tourism Top 10 Destinations Craters of the moon Ray Citte RV KZ Escape Bunkhouse - Duration: 28:51.

STEVEN HEUMANN: WHAT ARE SOME OF

t="567"THE TEN BEST OFF THE BEATEN PATH

t="1134"DESTINATIONS

IN UTAH? WELL WE'RE FINDING OUT TODAY AS WE COUNT DOWN WITH THE EXPERTS AND

SHOW SOME OF THE SPOT YOU NEED TO DISCOVER WITH YOUR FAMILY. I'M STEVEN HEUMANN.

JOIN ME AS I GO FROM ONE END OF THE STATE TO THE OTHER AND GIVE YOU THE BEST

UTAH HAS TO OFFER. FROM THERE CHAD AND RIA CONTINUE THEIR 2018 RV SAFARI

ACROSS IDAHO. THEY'RE GOING OUT OF THIS WORLD AT ONE DESTINATION WITH MORE

ADVENTURE THAN YOU'D THINK AT FIRST GLANCE. FINALLY WE'LL FIND OUT HOW

RECREATION AND EDUCATION GO TOGETHER. OWN THE OUTDOORS NOW WITH AYL.

(Theme Music Up)

Steve: Welcome to At Your Leisure everybody I'm your host Steven Heauman

and we have a great show for you today a little bit different than what we

usually do right behind me you will see the Utah State Capitol right now

inside that building is the tourism conference all the tourism officials

from across the state are in one building to talk about all of the great

destinations that exist here in Utah, what we decided to do was go in there

and find out the top ten off the beaten path destinations we all know about

Zion Bryce but what about the places that we do not know about that are

worth exploring how about you come with me and we go inside the Capitol

and lets me the experts and find out where you should be going next.

Woman: so its tourism day on the hill first day of the legislative session

and we are celebrating what a huge contributor what tourism is to the state

economy. So the tax relief per household in Utah 1200 dollars if we did

not have a tourism economy every household in Utah would have to generate

1200 dollars more in taxes one of my favorite places is White Trim Trail

in Canyonlands National Park. The trail is an old uranium jeep road and

so it is pretty accessible the sandstone formations the cliffs the miles

and miles of endless wide open spaces it's just a transcendent experience.

Woman: If you are looking for a national park experience but maybe don't

want the crowds or even the expense or admission of 30 dollars I would

got to Cedar Breaks National Monument. It's very similar to Bryce Canyon

but it is smaller and intimate they have lots of rangers on staff you can

go on hikes with them you can go on geology talks at night they do start

programs.

Man: Goblin Valley one of my favorite places it is a State Park so it is

somewhat popular but it so fun especially if you have kids they play hide

and seek in the goblins.

Man: Through the eyes of a child where you allowed to go off trail where

there really are not any trails in the valley you see your kids and they

can run over here and run over and do this and explore and have that

self-discovery we need more have that where we can see explore on your own.

Man: the trail system in Beaver county and the reason why I say that is

lesser know it's right on the way down a lot of us will be traveling this

summer this early springtime to southern Utah and Beaver County is one

of those hidden gems that a lot of people overlooked on their way down south.

Woman: We have the most spectacular sightseeing but in addition to that

I love our off the beaten path foody tours. We have Bear Lake raspberry

shakes in Logan we have Café Ibis making coffee it's not just green jello

and fry sauce here in Utah. One of our biggest food scenes is our chocolate

we have nine bean to bar chocolate makers in the state it's the highest

concentration anywhere in the US you can do Capotes deli downtown salt

lake and try any chocolate bar you want all around the state we have this

unheard of food destinations as well.

Steve: well there's our first five off the beaten path destinations for

today's show we will catch the other five a little bit later I just want

to say it's been interesting being here at the Capitol talking to all

these people, that have inspired them and have helped them have a greater

appreciation of this state. Of course when we go off to our travel

adventure we are leaving Utah and heading north to Idaho as we are in the

middle of the Ray Citte RV Safari so why don't we catch up with Chad and Ria.

What's black and dirty and bumpy all over?

Lava Field that we are standing in.

Exactly we are continuing our Ray Citte RV Safari series across Idaho

today we are taking you to the Craters of the Moon National Monument.

We are starting our tour inside the Indian tunnel which is the biggest

lava tube I have ever been in and for Ria's sake it's got skylights all

the way through it.

Yes, it's no big deal you can see light at the end of the tunnel, literally.

So this is only the tip of the sub terrain cavern here let's find out a

little bit more about the park.

Craters of the moon is a lava field that was established as national

monument in 1924 to protect and preserve this volcanic landscape we have

lava flows here that range from about 15,000 years old to most recent to

about 2000 years old. The size of the monument preserved today is over

750,000 acres which is probably hard to relate to for most people but that

is about the size of Rhode Island.

A lot of people come here saying that it's just a pile of black rock but

there is actually a lot of interesting vegetation and diversity that you

will be seeing in our park you will see some really well preserved sage brush

as well as really awesome rocky lava formation ranging from real smooth to

real rough lava we have a lot of cool cinder cones and lava tube caves to

explore on trails and things like that.

You know I'm going to be honest I was firmly in the it's just a pile of

black rock camp when we arrived, I couldn't imagine that you could find

anything interesting at Craters of the Moon, but I was proven way wrong

almost immediately. From the moment you arrive you actually feel like you

have been transported to another world.

Well basically how all of this lava got here is about 16,000 million years

ago a volcanic hot spot started moving east below the crust of the earth

erupting from time to time and smoothing what we know today is the snake

river valley. Literally this hot spot melted a flat swath across the Rockies

and is currently what fuels Yellowstone National Park geological activity.

But not all the history here is prehistoric. During the space race of the

60's and the e early 70's Craters of the Moon actually became a real life

astronaut research facility.

Apollo 14 did come to Craters of the Moon to learn more about volcanos and

get an idea of how the landscape at Craters of the Moon could be similar

to that of NASA.

Well we decided to follow in the footsteps of NASA and do some exploring

and it was eye opening to say the least.

We stopped first at the Spatter Cones which are remnants of miniature

volcanos formed where large globs of lava were spit up into the air during

an eruption a mere 2000 years ago. Hiking trails took us to the landscape

and into the cones themselves where you could look down on glacial ice that

is a permanent fixture of these deep holes. Even through the hottest

summer months.

Craters of the Moon really is a hikers dream and that is partially true for

the kids. Once we made our way down to the Indian tunnel it was free reign

for climbing and exploring which they took full advantage of.

Some of the areas are open for cross country excursions while others are

not so you want to be familiar with where you are going so you don't get

off the trail in danger spots. Stay on the paths unless posted otherwise.

And while you are out here there is so much to learn once you have a good

idea of the history of the area your experience becomes even richer.

The thing I like most about being a ranger is being able to teach and see

people learn in national; park these places are like living laborites are

a really good extension of classrooms and offer relevant learning experiences

to people of all ages.

Craters of the Moon is perfect for an RV because they have motorhome specific

parking areas across the monument as well as camping spots if you want to use

it as base camp. Bring plenty of water and you are guaranteed to have

memorable experience with your family.

There are a lot of really cool experiences that you can have that are truly

out of this world landscapes you are not going to find lava that is this

wild I suppose just on regular drive so coming to Craters of the Moon to

really understand this landscape is well worth it.

Well after a hot day you want to end up your story like we did here in the

visitors center it is nice an cool and you can get this nice overview of

the 16 million year history of Craters of the Moon.

It really is fascinating and you truly feel like you are on another planet

when you are out here and so much to learn.

CHAD: Well we are done with our Ray Cite RV Safari today but not with the

series. We will be back next week with another part of the tails of our

adventures and crazy as they may be.

RIA: Adventures around every bend as we say.

CHAD: That's true we will take a commercial break and we will be right back

with At Your Leisure.

(Music Up)

CHAD: HEY HERE'S A QUESTION FOR YOU YOU HAVE A YOUNG FAMILY AND YOU WANT TO

GROW THEM UP IN THE OUTDOORS I'VE GOT YOUR ANSWER. IT'S THE ESCAPE 23 FOOT

BUNK HOUSE BY KZ BUNK HOUSE BECAUSE IT HAS A LOT OF SPACE FOR PEOPLE TO SLEEP

INSIDE. KZ HAS SPENT A LOT OF TIME DEVELOPING A GOOD INSTALLATION SYSTEM IN

THEIR HYBRID WALL MANUFACTURE. IN ADDITION IT HAS AN ALUMINUM ROOF SYSTEM

ON ITS ONE PIECE ALUMINUM WITH GIVES IT GREAT DURABILITY AND IT MAKES IT LEAK

PROOF. THEY ACTUALLY PUT NITROGEN IN THE TIRES WHICH MAKES THEM RUN A LOT

COOLER IN THE SUMMER AND GIVES THEM THE DURABILITY THAT YOU MAY NOT FIND

OTHERWISE. THERE IS A LOT TO SEE ON THE INSIDE FOR A VALUE PRICE TRAILER

SO TIME WE GO THERE COME ON. OKAY IS SAID THIS 23 FOOTER SLEEPS 8 SO YOUR

FIRST INSTINCT WOULD SAY GOSH IT'S GOING TO BE PRETTY CROWDED INSIDE BUT

TAKE A LOOK IT ACTUALLY HAS A LOT OF SPACE. PART OF IT DUE TO THIS ONE

GEAR DRIVEN SLIDE THAT SITS ON THIS SIDE OF THE TRAILER. MOM AND DAD HAVE

THIS FRONT AREA FOR THE MASTER BED YOU HAVE A COUCH THAT IS A DOUBLE FOLD

OUT WHICH SLIDE DOWN YOU DONATE CONVERTS INTO 2 BEDS AND THEN SPIN AROUND

AND TAKE A LOOK AT THE BUNKS BEHIND YOU KZ EMPLOYS A 1 PIECE LAMINATE

COUNTER TOP ON ALL THEIR TABLES AND COUNTER TOPS WHICH MEANS IT IS NOT

SUSCEPTIBLE TO WATER CREEPING IN AND SEPARATING THE LAMINATION IN ADDITION

TO THAT THEY USE ALL PLYWOOD CONSTRUCTION ON THE SIDE IN THE CABINETS AND

UNDERNEATH THE COUNTERS AND THEY USE A TONGUE AND GROOVE SYSTEM WHICH MEANS

THAT THEY LOCK IN SO THEY CANNOT WARP AND POP OUT. ALWAYS HAVE NICE

STRAIGHT SURFACES INSIDE THE KZ TRAILERS. LIKE ALL THE OTHER KZ UNITS WE

LOOK AT IT HAS AN ADVANCE ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM THAT HAS A GLUE TOOTH WAY

TO CONNECT THAT HAS INDOOR AND OUTDOOR SPEAKERS. FOR A TRAILER OF THIS

SIZE THEY PUTA A LOT OF THOUGHT OF WHAT TO DO WITH THE BATHROOM, PARTIALLY

IF YOU ARE TRAVELING AS A FAMILY. THIS UNIT HAS A TUB ACROSS THE BACK OF

THE BATHROOM ALLOWS YOU TO TAKE A SHOWER OR BATH THE LITTLE KIDS.

IT'S A GREAT WAY TO KEEP ALL THAT SPLASHY WATER CONTAINED. IF YOU ARE

TRAVELING WITH A BIG FAMILY AND HAVE A BIG FOOD REQUIREMENT NO SKIMPING ON

A REFRIGERATOR IT'S A FULL SIZE RV FRIG FREEZER YOU DO HAVE AIR CONDITION

SO THOSE VISITS TO THE CAMPGROUND ARE COMFORTABLE. SO LET'S DO THE MATH

ON THIS YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH YOUR FAMILY OF 8 YOU GET A MOTEL ROOM 75

BUCKS A PIECE ITS 150 A NIGHT. RIGHT ABOUT WHERE A MONTHLY PAYMENT IS GOING

TO START ON THIS UNIT THEY HAVE THEM ON SALE RIGHT NOW FOR 22,500 DOLLARS.

SO BASICALLY FOR A ONE NIGHT STAY IN A HOTEL YOUR FAMILY CAN HAVE ONE MONTH

ON THE ROAD. WHICH WOULD YOU RATHER HAVE? I'M CHAD BOOTH FOR THIS WEEK'S

PRODUCT REVIEW FOR RAY CITTE RV WE WILL BE RIGHT BACK WITH MORE AT YOUR

LEISURE IN JUST MINUTE.

(Music Up)

STEVE: WELCOME BACK TO AT YOUR LEISURE EVERYBODY WE ARE HAVING A GREAT

TIME FINDING OUT ABOUT THE TOP TEN LESSER KNOWN DESTINATIONS IN THE STATE

OF UTAH. YOU KNOW ABOUT ZION AND BRYCE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THOSE HIDDEN

GEMS THAT YOU MAY HAVE OR NOT HEARD OF BUT DEFINITELY WORTH YOU AND YOUR

FAMILY EXPLORING. RIGHT NOW I'M ON THE SHORES OF THE GREAT SALT LAKE MOST

ICONIC DESTINATION IN THE STATE OF UTAH. BUT WE HAVE BEEN SPENDING MOST

OF OUR TIME AT THE STATE CAPITOL TALKING TOURISM DIRECTORS WE ARE GOING TO

BE TALKING TO THE GOVERNOR HIMSELF TO FIND OUT THEIR PERSONAL FAVORITES

AND WHERE YOU SHOULD BE PLANNING YOUR NEXT TRIP WITH OUR FAMILY.

WHEN WE STARTED THE SHOW OF OUR TOP 5 NOW WE TALK ABOUT THE TOP TEN.

Governor: I used to love to go what was called South Fork up Provo Canyon

I used to go up there fishing the little streams up there and hike in the

back country there again that was something so close something that we

probably take too much for granted here in Utah you can just be 20 or 30

minutes away from spectacular country you can drive to get out of your car

and start hiking.

Gooseneck state park this is going for dark sky designation. Dark sky is

for folks that do not know is that human beings create a lot of light

pollution by aiming our lights upward right places like our state parks are

becoming the last refuge of seeing beautiful starry nights also a great

primitive camping spot with a great overlook but it is one of our most

gorgeous out of our way places stunning dark sky's stunning vistas in the

day great hiking and biking around there when you drive highway 12 you are

going from high elevation fit forest area beautiful green all over and

within 20 minutes you drop down into red rock and its I gorgeous it's a

drive that I took my family on it was a long way to get to Bryce Canyon

as another 2 hours it was so worth it going through that way my kids loved

every minute of it.

Certainly Starvation State Park is one of my personal favorites right on

Highway 40 one hour from Heber generally always have availability a beautiful

lake wonderful sand for that beach experience great boating and amenities

right in Duchesne City.

The Henry Mountain in and around that particular complex just outside of

the Hanksville area. You got Factory Butte just a great location and also

with that you have that free roaming bison herd that exists down there so

some people are aware of it but it is off the beaten path type trail system.

We have places that are work visiting and enjoying that are not a park of

any kind. They are not National or State park they are just beautiful part

of Utah's public lands. So there is plenty of opportunity to go out there

and pitch a tent and pick a trail an enjoy the mountains and the beauty of

nature on its 36 million acres of public land.

STEVE: THERE YOU GO THE LAST 5 OF THE TOP 10 OFF THE BEATEN PATH

DESTINATIONS HERE IN UTAH EACH ONE IS WORTH THE VISIT TAKE YOUR FAMILY OUT

AND EXPLORE RIGHT NOW I AM AT CITY CREEK CANYON JUST NORTH OF SALT LAKE

THIS DID NOT MAKE OUR LIST BUT IT IS A REALLY GREAT SPOT THEY CLOSED IT TO

TRAFFIC EVERY OTHER DAY SO YOU CAN RIDE YOUR BIKES AND DOGS AND JUST

EXPLORE GREAT URBAN DESTINATION. LET'S GO OFF TO OUR TRAIL HEAD ADVENTURE

BROUGHT TO YOU BY ROCKY MOUNTAIN ATV MC GREAT PLACE TO GO AND GET RIDING

THINGS. EDUCATION NOT JUST FOR CLASSROOM SOMETIMES WE LEARN MORE OUTDOORS

THAN YOU THINK AND WE WILL SHOW YOU ONE PROGRAM THAT PROVES IT.

MALIA STRINGHAM: READING, WRITING, AND ARITHMETIC. THE SUPPOSED 'THREE RS'

OF AMERICAN EDUCATION. NORMALLY THEY BOIL DOWN TO SITTING AT A DESK,

LEAFING THROUGH BOOKS, WHILE LISTENING TO LECTURES. OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS

A MOVEMENT OF SORTS HAS STARTED TO CHANGE THOSE PARAMETERS. OUTDOOR

EXPLORATION HAS ALWAYS BEEN VIEWED AS MERELY A FORM OF RECREATION, NOT

EDUCATION. RECENTLY HOWEVER PROGRAMS ACROSS THE COUNTRY HAVE BEEN

EXPERIMENTING WITH PAIRING A CHILD'S NATURAL CURIOSITY AND DESIRE TO LEARN

WITH OUTDOOR FUN. THE RESULTS HAVE BEEN SURPRISING, AND IN UTAH KELLY ERICKSON

IS HELPING LEAD THE CHARGE.

KELLY ERICKSON: I wanted to find a way to get my kids connected to nature

because I felt like when we go to museums or zoos or you just go out and go

on a hike, it was never really about stopping and looking at things and

really stopping and paying attention to what's going on, it was never about

that, it's just like hurry and get from A to B, and so the idea is to get

us to stop and to connect. It's all about conncection, so that's what we're

doing here is we're connecting kids to nature and ourselves to nature.

I am not an expert. We're learning together.

MALIA STRINGHAM: KELLY STARTED 'OUTDOOR ADVENTURE KIDS UTAH' WITH HER OWN

CHILDREN AND STARTED INVITING OTHER FAMILIES TO JOIN. EVERY TUESDAY THEY

MEET AT A DIFFERENT LOCAL PARK WITH THE BASIC GOAL OF EXPLORING AND LETTING

THE KIDS DISCOVER THE NATURAL WORLD. KELLY ACTS AS MENTOR, BUT THE KIDS

LEARN AND INQUIRE ALL ON THEIR OWN.

KELLY ERICKSON: And that's the whole idea. We're trying to get kids to ask

questions. If they ask the question and you let them own that question, it's

going to become theirs and they'll have ownership over it. If I'm asking the

questions for them and they're not thinking for themselves it's just going

to go in one ear and out the other, and that's not what we want here.

What we do is we get together, we have the kids play a nature game, and then

we give them the chance to have the freedom to go out and see what they see

and it's amazing what the kids come back with.

VANESSA HAHN: My favorite part about that experience when the kids go and

wander on their own is that they're exercising their own brain. they're

finding something and they're asking questions about that something and they're

exploring to find the answers. And when they're having fun with their friends

and exploring it's endless learning opportunities.

MALIA STRINGHAM: THE NATURAL CLASSROOM TEACHES EACH CHILD ABOUT DIFFERENT

ANIMALS, TREES AND WATER FEATURES; WHATEVER CATCHES THEIR EYE. THEY LEARN

PUBLIC SPEAKING TECHNIQUES AS THEY GATHER TO DISCUSS WHAT THEY'VE SEEN AND

HEARD. EVERY ASPECT OF THE ENVIRONMENT LENDS ITSELF TO THE EDUCATION PROCESS

AND CHANGES HOW THE KIDS SEE THEIR WORLD, NOT ONLY DURING THE SESSIONS, BUT

THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THEIR DAY.

KELLY ERICKSON: The benefits have been...I don't even know if I can quantify

what I'm seeing. Their noticing skills while we're driving in the car, they're

looking out the windows, thay'll yell, I see this whatever, or I see this!

Mom! Look at this! And they're much more excited about things and they talk

to each other, they interact with each other. When we go to the park and

we're playing, they start their own games and they know how to do it because

we're practicing it here.

MALIA STRINGHAM: AND THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT ISN'T HARD TO FIND EITHER.

YOU'D THINK THAT IN ORDER FOR THE KIDS TO HAVE A TRUE EXPERIENCE THEY'D NEED

TO GO FAR FROM CIVILIZATION, BUT THAT ISN'T THE CASE AT ALL. THE PARKS ARE

IN THE HEART OF NEIGHBORHOODS AND URBAN LANDSCAPES, BUT EVEN SO, TRACES OF

WILDLIFE LITTER THE GROUND, AND THE BOYS AND GIRLS SEEM TO FIND EVERY TRACK

AND HIDDEN DEN. THEIR CURIOSITY INSPIRES THE ADULTS, AND HELPS REMIND ALL

OF US THAT WHEN IT COMES TO THE OUTDOORS, THERE'S ALWAYS SOMETHING TO LEARN.

LUCKILY IN THIS CASE, EVERYONE IS INVITED TO COME ALONG FOR THE EXPERIENCE.

KELLY ERICKSON: We have a Facebook Page. Our group is called Outdoor Kids Utah.

Everyone is welcome to join us, there's no criteria for membership,

it doesn't cost any money.

VANESSA HAHN: Our connection as a family is so much stronger when you're

with each other and you're uninterrupted and there's no screens involved

and there's no distractions, you're outside and you can really connect on

a deeper level than you can anywhere else.

KELLY ERICKSON: The more we connect with nature we connect with each other

and we have that happiness inside.

MALIA STRINGHAM: EDUCATION CAN BE ABOUT MORE THAN JUST FACTS AND FIGURES,

AND OUR EXCURSIONS INTO THE OUTDOORS CAN BE ABOUT MORE THAN JUST RECREATION.

FROM THE TRAILHEAD I'M MALIA STRINGHAM.

(Music Up)

John 2 12-25: Jesus... Who? What can We Know? - Duration: 11:17.

Hello. Now what can we know about Jesus? In this video, we will explore a little

further into who Jesus is by continuing our reading of John chapter 2 verses 12

through 25 and then touching on six characteristics of Jesus that are

mentioned in this passage. Ready? Here we go.

My name is Charles Yerkes and this is the Simple Not Shallow YouTube Channel.

The whole purpose of this channel is to bring you digestible, compelling, and

conversational insights into the Bible so that you can develop a relationship

with God by learning how to love simply, wisely, and well. For that is where

excitement and meaning in life dwell. So, what can we know about Jesus? Well, let's

begin by reading John chapter two verses 12 through 25 from the world English

Bible. After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, his brothers,

and his disciples; and they stayed there not many days. For the Passover of the

Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now, he found in the temple

those who sold oxen and sheep and doves and the changers of money were sitting

there. And he made a whip out of cords, and threw them all out of the temple,

both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changer's money and

overthrew their tables. Now, to those who sold the doves, he said, "Take these things

out of here! Do not make my father's house a marketplace!" And his disciples

remembered that it was written, "Zeal for your house will eat me up." Now, the Jews

therefore answered him and said, "What sign do you show to us, seeing that you've done

these things?" Jesus answered them and said, "Destroy this temple, and in three

days I will raise it up." Now the Jews said therefore, "46 years

was this temple in the building! And you will raise it up in three days?" But he

spoke of the temple that was his body. When therefore he was raised from

the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the

Scripture, and the word which Jesus had said. Now when he was in Jerusalem at the

Passover, during the feast, many believed in his name, observing the signs which he

had done. But Jesus didn't entrust himself to them, because he knew all

people, and because he didn't need anyone to testify concerning man; for he knew

what was in man. And that was John chapter 2 verses 12 through 25. Now,

the first characteristic that I found is in verse 12.

Jesus was a family man. No, I'm not saying he was married or engaged or any of that

type of stuff. But, what I mean is family was very important to him. Well he

traveled with his mother and his brothers. And while we do not get a very

in-depth look into his family life, we know that here, at age 30, he not only was

honoring of his mother (from our last video on verses 1 through 11, which I will link

to in the video description box below), but here, we also find that he now

travels in their company. And with all the talk that we hear about being

the family of God, isn't it refreshing to see that Jesus traveled in the company

of his family? That he truly cared about his mother and his brothers? Number two,

did you notice in verse 13 that he was also a very religious person? He went

to the Passover and to the temple. He was a religious person who honored his family...

see religion ain't all bad. So, Jesus honored his family

and he honored God the Father. Indeed, it was his honoring the father

that led him to take such stands as those found in the next three verses.

This is where the merchants had set up shop in the temple itself, and not merely

at a location near it, as had once been the practice. These merchants

provided a necessary service for those travelling long distances. in these verses,

the problem is not with the service provided, but that they were being

provided in the temple at all, where worship should have been happening, not

the buying and selling of items. It is also interesting that the only place

where this could have been set up was in the outer court, or what is known as the

Gentile court. That is the one place in the temple where the Gentiles could, well

it was the only place, where they could come and worship God. Not only was it

making a place of worship into a place of business, it was actually preventing

one group of people from worshipping at all. I am reminded here, of Jesus's

admonitions about not hindering the little children from coming unto Him.

Number three, Jesus was the Messiah. Now this comes from verses 17 and 22.

Here, John points out that the disciples remembered what scriptures spoke of

about the Messiah; how the Messiah would behave. That is, that the Messiah would

have great zeal for God's house. Number four, next we learn about Jesus is that

Jesus knew from the get-go who he was and why he was here. This I see in verses

18 to 22. Where he tells those asking on what authority he just cleaned out the

temple. He said, well... "I am the Messiah." He did this by saying that when he died he

he would rise again in three days. See, Jesus knew who he was.

Number five, he was meek and humble but he was not mousy. In Matthew 11

chapter 20... chapter 11 verse 29 and chapter 21 verse 5,

Jesus refers to himself as being meek. Sometimes the words gentle and

unassuming are used in its place depending upon your translation. And in

2nd Corinthians chapter 10 verse 1 it speaks of the meekness and gentleness of

Jesus. Yet, this meek and gentle Jesus drove out the cattle, the sheep, and

turned over the money changers to tables... he simply cleaned out the temple. Now a full

study of what it means to be meek must wait for another day. But for now, it is

enough to see that while being meek he wasn't Mr. Mousey. I mean he didn't come

up to them and say, "Please Mr. Money Changer,

could you please, I mean if it's, if it's not too much trouble, could you please

relocate outside the temple? I mean, after all, this is a place of worship and well...

it would be better if you could just please honor that. Please." No. This was

more of a, "Do not let the door hit you on the way out!" type of deal. Right? Now,

before we go too crazy with that. I did do some research into this passage (in

the four commentaries that I have mentioned in my other videos on John, and

yes I will link to those below), but I did find out, that this need not have been

too harsh or too violent or too aggressive of an episode. For as these

commentators all state, if it had been too violent, the Roman authorities would

have shown up to settle things back down. So, what that means is, he was firm,

assertive, and authoritative; but without being authoritarian. He wasn't too

provoking in taking the stance. That's something we should probably think a

little bit about. And number six, six. Jesus was very

wise in how he lovingly dealt with people. Even though more and more

people were coming to believe in him, he did not entrust himself to them. The

first time I read this in verses 24 and 25, it was kind of a shocking experience

for me. I mean, isn't to love people to trust them and shouldn't that go hand in

hand? But looking at the context, you could see that many believed in him

because of the signs he performed because of the miracles he performed, not

because they knew who he was or truly loved him. Right? They loved what he was

doing. And Jesus knew that heads turned quickly by seeing a miracle would be

quickly turned away when the hard teaching came. Jesus was not flattered

into a false sense of security. He knew the score. And yet, he was never

spiteful, vindictive, suspicious, callous, or treated anyone in any other manner

than that of a loving one. He was one who knew he could not trust people and yet,

he still fully loves them. Now for me, this was the beginning of the lessons on

how to love your neighbor as you love yourself. To love even while knowing that

they're going to turn on you.... Wrapping your head around this one may take a

lifetime. Well, what do you think? Have you gotten to know a little bit more about

this one called Jesus, through this conversation? I would love to hear what

BREAKING!! COMEY Just BUSTED Red Handed!! No Lawyer Can SAVE HIM! - Duration: 4:48.

BREAKING!!

COMEY Just BUSTED Red Handed!!

No Lawyer Can SAVE HIM!

Former FBI Director Comey could be busted red handed, and I'm not sure a lawyer can

help him.

There could be specific text message shared between two FBI employees that were supposed

to lead the investigation into Hillary Clinton and her private server, but a few other things

are going on that could change everything.

Some of this swirls around the statements made by James Comey which were provided during

a testimony.

Peter Strzok was responsible for interviewing Hillary Clinton and some of her associates

while her email server situation was being investigated.

Strzok was also having a romantic fun time with FBI lawyer Lisa Page, which merely throws

a wrench into everything as usual.

The text messages between Strzok and Page have come under fire, and it could throw a

massive amount of legal implications that will be like the second coming of Watergate.

Democrats continue pushing a Russian narrative to throw distractionary shade at the people

looking into Hillary Clinton.

Add James Comey to the mix, and when this all goes down, it's going to be a major

political shakeup that could lead to people being put in prison.

Breitbart provided more on the exchange: "Last weekend, Senate Homeland Security

Committee Chairman Ron Johnson sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray documenting

some of the text messages exchanged between Page and Strzok.

The exchange took place on May 4, 2016, which Johnson wrote was "after then-Director Comey

began drafting his July 5 statement clearing Secretary Clinton."

The date was one day after Cruz dropped out of the presidential race.

Strzok clearly discusses "pressure" to conclude the Clinton email probe, linking

the timing to the ascension of Trump as the Republican candidate most capable of securing

the GOP nomination at the time.

The messages contrast with Comey's May 3, 2017 testimony before the Senate Judiciary

Committee on FBI oversight in which the then-FBI director defended the Clinton email investigation.

Comey was asked by Sen. Chuck Grassley whether there was any artificial deadline to finish

the email probe, especially before the Democratic National Convention.

He was also questioned about the code name for the investigation, "Midyear Exam,"

which seems to imply a timeline.

Grassley wrongly referred to the codename for the probe as "Operation Midyear,"

but Comey used the correct term "Midyear Exam."

Here is a transcript of that section of Comey's testimony:

GRASSLEY: Was the Clinton investigation named Operation Midyear because it needed to be

finished before the Democratic National Convention.

If so, why the artificial deadline?

If not, why was that the name?

COMEY: Certainly not because it had to be finished by a particular date.

There's an art and a science to how we come up with codenames for cases.

They — they assure me it's done randomly.

Sometimes I see ones that make me smile and so I'm not sure.

But I can assure you that — that it was called Midyear Exam, was the name of the case.

I can assure you the name was not selected for any nefarious purpose or because of any

timing on the investigation.

At an infamous news conference on July 5, 2016, Comey seemingly violated FBI tradition

by bypassing the Justice Department and stating that "no charges are appropriate" in Clinton's

case after criticizing her use of a private email server as "extremely careless."

It is not traditionally the role of the FBI as an investigative agency to announce whether

charges are appropriate."

Hillary Clinton.

Barack Obama.

James Comey.

Peter Strzok.

Lisa Page.

Missing text messages.

Romantic affair.

FBI phone glitch.

Memo.

What part of this will point to the correct accusation that leads to someone being arrested,

tried, and charged with a crime?

Will a transparent investigation dig up evidence that will put an end to this political soap

opera so that President Trump can continue his work without distractions?

Is this a smoke show that's conducted by leftists as they giggle upon a Russian fairy

tale instead of allowing Trump to get his job done?

What happens next?

Will President Trump read the beloved memo during the State of the Union Address?

Ever since #ReleaseTheMemo trended on Twitter, there's been an insane amount of interest

in understanding the information contained in the multipage memo.

If the memo is released, then the floodgates will be open, and people will lawyer up faster

than you can imagine.

Break down!

Take down!

You're busted!

Here's your new theme song for when the memo comes out!

DC Lawyer Drops 'Historic' Bombshell: Reveals EVERY SHRED Of Evidence That Obama Meticulously Hid. - Duration: 5:35.

DC Lawyer Drops 'Historic' Bombshell: Reveals EVERY SHRED Of Evidence That Obama

Meticulously Hid.

It seems on a daily basis Barack Hussein Obama is implicated in another historic-level scandal.

Over the past several weeks, evidence emerged how Obama worked directly with ISIS terrorists

to secure massive amounts of weapons to their terror group.

Then several days later, we learned how Obama turned a blind eye to Hezbollah's drug-trafficking

and money-laundering operations in order to appease Iran and ensure his Iranian nuclear

deal would be finalized and how Obama sent US troops to protect the Taliban's poppy

plants, where the terror group now has a multi-billion dollar heroin enterprise to fund their attacks

on the West.

If that wasn't enough treason to last a lifetime, a new report from assistant U.S.

attorney Andy McCarthy is revealing the startling lengths that Obama went to in order to ensure

that Hillary was elected, because he knew that Hillary would help sweep all his crimes

underneath the rug.

In the latest Obama Drama Scandal, McCarthy reveals through his article for the National

Review the unbelievable steps that Obama went through in order to get away with their crimes.

But after the election didn't go as planned, now all of Obama's dirty laundry is being

aired for the entire world to see.

McCarthy reveals that it wasn't the FBI or the Department of Defense's decision

to not prosecute Hillary, but it was Obama's master plan all along, where the former president

even used pseudonymous email account to communicate with Clinton on her non-secure email so the

two could communicate about their treasonous plans without anyone knowing.

Former assistant U.S. attorney Andrew McCarthy contended in a recent opinion editorial that

the "inevitable" decision not to prosecute Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email

server during her tenure as Secretary of State was former "President Barack Obama's call

— not the FBI's, and not the Justice Department's.

Obama of course went on national television to lie his ass off, saying that he just found

out about Hillary's non-secure server, which is complete BS, since he had been communicating

WITH HER through a secret identity through these channels!

What's even more sick is that Obama had all his minions in place to safeguard all

the treachery that was taking place.

John Podesta, Hillary's campaign manager, even demanded that email exchanges between

Obama and Hillary be "held back," citing ridiculous "executive privileges," that

worked for a time.

But unfortunately for the former Traitor-In-Chief, his massive whoppers set off a domino effect

that's now helping expose the massive scandal that was until now kept under wraps.

McCarthy went on to explain that it was at this point Obama took the deception to the

next level by sealing all communications he had with Clinton through email.

"Obama had his email communications with Clinton sealed.

He did this by invoking a dubious presidential-records privilege.

The White House insisted that the matter had nothing to do with the contents of the emails,

of course; rather, it was intended to vindicate the principle of confidentiality in presidential

communications with close advisers.

With the media content to play along, this had a twofold benefit: Obama was able (1)

to sidestep disclosure without acknowledging that the emails contained classified information,

and (2) to avoid using the term "executive privilege" — with all its dark Watergate

connotations — even though that was precisely what he was invoking.

Note that claims of executive privilege must yield to demands for disclosure of relevant

evidence in criminal prosecutions.

But of course, that's not a problem if there will be no prosecution."

After Obama tried desperately to hide his email traffic to Hillary by crafting the plot

to not investigate her for her email scandals, that's when Comey began drafting his exoneration

letters before he even interviewed key witnesses as he knew full well that Hillary would never

be prosecuted for her crimes.

That's when the infamous "tarmac meeting" took place between Attorney General Loretta

Lynch and Bill Clinton where their final plans could be made in secret.

McCarthy also touched on that in his article saying:

"On July 1, amid intense public criticism of her meeting with Bill Clinton, Attorney

General Lynch piously announced that she would accept whatever recommendation the FBI director

and career prosecutors made about charging Clinton.

Then the infamous texts were sent between FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, where

they discussed how Lynch "knows no charges will be brought."

The very next day is when Hillary Clinton was interviewed by Strzok, which is documented

below.

McCarthy went on:

"On the same day, according to a Strzok–Page text, a revised draft of Comey's remarks

was circulated by his chief of staff, Jim Rybicki.

It replaced "the President" with "another senior government official."

This effort to obscure Obama's involvement had an obvious flaw: It would practically

have begged congressional investigators and enterprising journalists to press for the

identification of the "senior government official" with whom Clinton had exchanged

emails.

That was not going to work."

This is absolutely unbelievable.

From day one this entire debacle was not only intricately planned, but Obama and Hillary

tirelessly worked every single detail, laying out the framework for two knowing they'd

get exonerated for their crimes.
