I think we're about due for a nickel hunt what do you think
Hey everyone it's Rob with Rob finds treasure and I've got a box of nickels
to hunt today I'm gonna excited about this one because I have not been to this
Chase Bank for a box of nickels in months the very first time I ever hunted
nickels at this thing I found the Buffalo stampede that I got for buffalo
nickels I'll put a link to that video above here but I've gone back several
times after that and I had success after success and then it dried up and I
stopped going I did go there about two or three months ago and picked up a
nickel box I don't know the name of the video but it did pretty good long story
short it's been a couple of months again thought I'd go back ran in there get my
hundred our bill got a box of nickels there circulated I see a lot of the
newer looking Jeffersons just at first glance in there so and I'm talking about
the 2005 and newer nickels I'm hoping that's not a bad sign that it's a bunch
of newer nickels but you never know until you get into I haven't really
checked the Enders just the peek in here so I'll be checking the ends along the
way as always we'll be looking for Ernie Jefferson's Buffaloes V Nichols of
course we pulling out the 2009 s I'll also be checking the 2005 buffalo nickel
the modern one for the speargun flow still have yet to find that one and of
course we'll be inspecting the coins back in front for any heirs or varieties
that we come across that being said let's stop talking and let's start
hunting we're on a roll five of the Box guys and we've got a 58 d already but
look at this I started to pick it up thought it was a 58 notice it was a 38
set it right back down obviously you know we'd love to have it be a Denver or
San Francisco mint so let's take a look together 38 s unbelievable let me look
at this under the microscope and I'll get right back to you all right guys
it's actually not that bad a shape obviously it's
can have a lot of scratches it is circulated but for a 38 s third lowest
minted nickel of the Jefferson series 4.1 million minted it's right behind the
50 D and the 39 d that is a great find we've got a key date Jefferson nickel in
the fifth role well someone's gonna give us our first 40s nickel pretty toasty 46
Philadelphia so we got a 38 a 46 and a 58 roll number 8 another 40s nickel
another 46 much better shape this one's out of Denver that's to 46 is rule 19
got another 40s nickel here Warren pretty smooth but it's a 1940 1940s
we'll take it rolled it for 26 and this is kind of a cool find we've got a 1983
Denver Mint silver plated nickel its silver plated that is crazy
that's a cool find and when I noticed that I looked up and look what speaking
out I see a 42 and it has a silver look to it maybe not
it is 42 P silver war nickels in the box rule number 32 is gonna have a couple of
oldies I see a 1941 Denver San Francisco Terrace disco as well so that's three
coins 41 40 and 38 all with San Francisco and this one looks pretty old
it's a 49 49 Denver rule 33 we're gonna have our first Canadian of the box a 95
cool toning but it's just a foreign Canadian coin rule 34 another 40s coin
1940 one Philadelphia this time roll 36 found
herself in 1947 Denver rule 46 got another 1942 nickel this one's gonna be
regular nickel rule 47 second coin no the roll is a 41 Denver alright everyone
know the box and nickels hunted let's cover the finds we've got a 1938's can't
get mad at that nineteen forty three forty one's a forty two non-silver 246
is a forty seven a 49 and pretty toasty shape it'll go back a 52 of 53 54 a 56
one 57 to 58 and to 59 s and then as far as the yellow finds we had to 2009 DS
and a 2009 P pretty bad shape we got one Canadian nickel we got this pretty cool
silver-plated 83 nickel and the fine of the box was this 1942 silver
Philadelphia Mint or nickel a little bit above average box because the number of
fines but still nothing fantastic to write home about anytime you can get
some silver though legitimate not plated legitimate silver in a box
you scored hopefully you enjoyed this new home with me if you did I'd
appreciate a thumbs up and as always everyone happy hunting and thanks for
watching
