those things are so expensive and they're all so complex even the

headlights a computer run, that a lot of times they melt, cuz they're plastic

inside, look closely with a flashlight in the daytime and see if anything looks

melted inside, if it's melted inside you're just gonna have to replace those

super expensive assemblies and if that's the case, go Chinese get an aftermarket

copy a knockoff, cuz it's gonna save you thousands of dollars, if it's not melted

the first thing you want to check are the ground wires, because electric wires

in cars have power and ground, you got to have electricity going to the light

bulbs and you have to have ground wires that come out of the bulbs so that the

electricity can flow, and pray that it's just a bad ground wire, because if

it's weak ground wire they'll be weak and won't work, you want to pray that

that's it and they aren't melting, but I see them melt all the time, cuz you pay a lot

of money for those cars but man that plastic

stuff is made cheaper, turbo says should I buy a 2008 Honda CRV with 70,000 miles

for 5k, or a 2005 Volkswagen with 160,000 miles 3000 dollars for my first car, oh

definitely get the Honda those are great vehicles if it's only got 70,000 miles,

Volkswagens are endless money pits to begin with, and with a hundred and sixty

thousand miles and being 14 years old, I wouldn't waste three thousand, I wouldn't

waste three hundred dollars on that car the CRV's are excellent vehicles, I would

definitely go with the CRV especially with that low mileage on it, 5 grand for

that is a steal, Robert Phillips says Scotty what do you think of bars leak,

good product when I get a customer and say they don't have much money to spend,

you got a leak in the radiator or you got a leak in a head gasket, and the

radiator isn't that bad it might cost 500 bucks drive out, but if it's a head gasket

starting to leak it's gonna cost at least 1500 dollars, I often use the bars

metallic seal and sometimes it can stop the leak for years it doesn't hurt

anything, it doesn't clog anything up, the only thing you have to

realize is, you have a leak in the cooling system, look at the coolant get a

turkey baster when it's cold, suck out some of it, squirt it into a glass and

look at it, if it's all dirty and corroded first thing you got to do is

flush it all out, get it clean then try some sealer, cuz you do not want to use a

sealer in any vehicle that has clogged up dirty coolant, because then it can

clog up everything, you want to always use a sealer with clean coolant or if

it's summertime, pure water or you can put it in for a week and see what

happens, it won't hurt anything running it for one week, but if you are gonna run

it with coolant you want to make sure the coolant is clean, 50% coolant 50%

water then put a little of the sealer in but I've seen that bar sealer seal up

leaks pretty good, it's been out there for since I was a kid, running code

with a little spray cleaner, you buy two cans of the spray cleaner, cost you maybe

14 bucks total, and follow all that cleaning and a lot of times it'll fix all of it

you get carbon built up on a throttle or the MAF sensor gets a little

dirty try that, that's often the case, now if you do that and it still shakes a little

bit at idle, it's not hurt anything, a lot of people will just

put it neutrals and it stops shaking, live with it that way

cuz it can be a sign that the torque converter and the automatic

transmission is straining a little, and it doesn't really hurt anything in my 94

Celica I shift it into neutral all the time and it idles like a clock, but if I

put it in Drive it shakes some and that's cuz the torque

converter and a tranny is a little bit worn with 240,000 miles, but it still

runs fine and I've driven it years that way, so if you never want to miss another

Progressive Rep. Ro Khanna Accuses Top Democrat Of Stonewalling Him - News Today - Duration: 5:57.

 Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) blasted Rep. Frank Pallone (D-N.J.) on Friday for allegedly blocking his bill to study the economic impact of broadband internet because of Pallone's personal dislike for Khanna

 "Frank Pallone is saying he won't move a Khanna bill," the California representative tweeted Friday night

"Why? Nothing to do with the policy. He is upset that I am supporting a Green New Deal and encroaching on his turf

"  Khanna co-sponsored bipartisan legislation in February to have the federal Bureau of Economic Analysis study "the effects of broadband [internet] on the economy" with the goal of expanding high-speed internet access to underserved areas, most of which are rural

 Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), a rumored 2020 presidential contender, co-sponsored the legislation on the Senate side where it passed unanimously last week

   Khanna told HuffPost that he approached Pallone, the chairman-designate of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which has jurisdiction over the legislation, to see whether Pallone would be willing to take up the bill in committee

 Pallone implied that he could not because it had not gone through the right procedural channels, according to Khanna

 Khanna then heard from people familiar with the conversation that Pallone's staff had told Senate staff that he "does not move Khanna bills

"  Khanna suspects that the reason Pallone allegedly has a grudge against him is because he was one of the first members of Congress to endorse New York Rep

-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's call for the creation of a special committee tasked with drafting "Green New Deal" legislation

 Pallone, whose committee would ordinarily deal with climate change legislation, has opposed the committee's creation

   A spokesperson for Pallone did not immediately respond to a HuffPost request for comment

 But Khanna's decision to air his grievance publicly reflects a growing boldness on the part of younger, largely progressive members of Congress to eschew norms of deference to party leaders in favor of transparency

 "This speaks to a bigger concern, which is the power of committee chairs to block legislation from going to the floor and the need for greater transparency in the process," Khanna said

 Ocasio-Cortez is among those new members who have used social media to shine a light on heretofore private aspects of influence peddling in Congress, such as the presence of undisclosed lobbyists at a Harvard-sponsored orientation for new lawmakers

 Khanna, a two-term congressman from Silicon Valley and vice chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, conceded that the freshman class' boldness might be rubbing off on slightly more seasoned members

 "It's given us some courage," he said.  Khanna insisted that he did not take the decision to go public lightly

He never spoke up about previous off-putting interactions with Pallone, including an incident in Khanna's first term when Pallone publicly objected to cooperating with Khanna on the drafting of an internet bill of rights

 Khanna also witnessed Pallone mocking the direct action tactics of the young Sunrise Movement protesters who had inundated Capitol Hill to press for a Green New Deal

 "He was laughing about it in the elevator," Khanna recalled. "It was very condescending

"  Pallone, who has represented a dense stretch of central New Jersey since 1989, is a member of Democrats' Steering and Policy Committee, which is responsible for deciding committee assignments

That gives him some ammunition with which to retaliate against Khanna, who is seeking a spot on the Ways and Means Committee, which oversees tax and spending policies

 But Pallone also represents one of the districts with the highest concentrations of Indian-Americans in the country

Khanna, one of a handful of Indian-Americans in the House, is a something of a celebrity in Indian-American communities ― even on the East Coast

   Khanna, who unseated incumbent Rep. Mike Honda (D) in a 2016 primary, has quickly become one of the most outspoken and prolific progressive House members

In June, he elicited criticism from fellow Democrats for issuing a dual endorsement of Ocasio-Cortez and Rep

Joseph Crowley, the incumbent she ultimately unseated. Ocasio-Cortez has praised him for being the only member of Congress to back her bid

   But Khanna has stuck his neck out on policy too. It's what prompted The Nation's John Nichols to name him the "most valuable House member" in a Thursday rundown of the 2018 "progressive honor roll

"  As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, Khanna has introduced legislation to force an end to the United States' participation in the war in Yemen

He also co-sponsored legislation with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) targeting Amazon's mistreatment of its low-wage workers; Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos responded to the public pressure campaign by raising warehouse workers' pay to $15 an hour

   Khanna has even gotten President Donald Trump to sign two bills he introduced. Trump signed a bill Thursday that Khanna co-sponsored requiring federal agencies to modernize their websites

 "It's been easier to get Donald Trump to move my legislation than Frank Pallone," Khanna said
