Hi Guys its Cindy Lietz, your Polymer Clay Tutor, and in today's video I'm gonna teach
you how to make Rose Petal Beads.
And although they are called Rose Petal Beads, you can actually make them with any dried
flower petals that you choose, and I've got a few examples here of all the different dried
petals that I've used, and the clays that I mixed from the petals, and the beads that
I made from the clay.
Now this is a wonderful way to commemorate any time that you've got in your life that
you've had flowers from; a wedding, a graduation ceremony, a baby's birth or even a memorial.
Now this particular project today has got special meaning to me, because these flower
petals all came from a memorial service for my uncle.
Now last year, my uncle died of prostate cancer and my aunt collected all these flowers and
dried them from his memorial, and I wanted to make her a whole bunch of beads with the
petals that she could share with her family and friends.
I've got a few examples here of some of the beads that I've been making from the clay,
I've got the typical rosary style bead here in this small round shape.
I've also got some pendants that I've started creating with the clay here, and they're put
into bezels of different types.
I've also got some buttons, now my aunt is a sewer and she also makes art quilts and
so I've decided that making her some buttons would be a wonderful way for her to use some
of these flower petal beads.
Now, over the years I've really perfected a little system for making these beautiful
colors with the rose petals and the clay.

2016 03 26 Kelly Anne + Dexter Wedding - Duration: 11:34.
Today surrounded by friends and family that love us. I ask you, Kelly Anne, my best
friend, to be my wife.
I promise to support you and encourage you to be the personal want to be, to dance with
you when you're happy, and to bring you fried chicken when you're not.
First and foremost, when I'm around you, I feel safe, protected, and cared for.
Just like the first time we played StarCraft together and you built defensive photon canons around my base.
I love you for who you are, including all your burps and strange made-up words. There's no other
person I'd like to play StarCraft with or spend the rest of my life with.
I can't wait to experience all the beautiful things in life and even the ugly things life has in store for us.
Dexter, I can' t wait to build our own adventure book together. I love you.
Actually, about half an hour ago Daniel, Dexter's dad, came over to our table and was
telling us how much of a square Dexter was. Thank you.
And as you all know, Dexter is the quintessential analytical engineer.
Backin college he would walk around with a USB flash drive clipped to his belt, so that
he could fix anybody's computer, anytime.
So if any of you guys have any internet issues - the man to call.
I have Dexter to thank for myself knowing the first ten digits of pie,
because one time, back in our Berkeley apartment
our internet wasn't working so he set up the router, setup the Wi-Fi, and then told
us that the Wi-Fi password was the first ten digits of Pi which is 3.141592653.
So thank you guys.
So Dexter, thank you for being my partner in so many adventures. It has been so
great to see the man that you've become, and I am so happy that you found Kelly Anne.
Now you have a new partner in the next phase of your life and our family
has a new daughter and a new sister. I wish you so many fun new adventures full of love
and laughter. Take care of each other, never ever go to bed angry, and remember
that pillow forts are still really fun.
Loveis a journey and being in this really gorgeous wedding with all your family and friends
it's so easy to forget that this is not the accumulation of your life,
but the beginning. And things can only get better, because there's a long way to
go and you have so many things to experience. So in the future I want you to look back on this moment
as a moment that you love each other the least and see how far you've come. May you grow
wise and old. Be prosperous and fruitful <clicks tongue> may your love be modern enough to survive the times but
old fashioned enough to last forever. To love and family. Ohana.
