Today I decided to present the Eachine QX90.
A drone different of other drones that I already present.
For the unboxing the drone comes in a simple plastic box
that will certainly serve you for transport and storage
there are no user manual.
He just a note here for the binding. Be careful not to break
the camera when Outgoing the drone because it is not fixed. There are two versions :
ARF meaning : Almost Ready to Fly delivered without receiver
and BNF meaning Bind And FLY
comes with a receiver. The model of the receiver and to choose
according to the radio control you have or that you will choose.
Here is the Eachine QX90.
Here you have two 1s batteries, 3.7V 600mAh in
with micro connector LOSI
we also find two additional 8520 engines :
1 CW, 1 CCW, useful in case of breakage
as the engines did not "thread pitch"
You can replace a CW by CCW, by inverting the wires.
Scratch sticker to fix the battery to the frame,
and a rubber band for the camera,

the QX90 is a nano FPV with carbon chassis X
as the name suggests it has a diagonal of 90 mm, it measures 118 by 118
by 70mm. 118mm with propellers and
70 mm high with the camera and antenna
It weighs 37.3 g without the battery.
and 52.2 g with battery
The battery 3.7 V 600 mAh Lipo allows
autonomy of 5 to 6 minutes approximately it weighs 15g.
the motors are of 8520 they measure 20 mm without the axis
27 mm with the axis, to a diameter of 8.4 mm
and weighs 5.3 g.
It has a camera 520 lines with transmitter
integrated 5.8, 25 milliwatts and 32 channels.
You can select the desired frequency by manipulating dips
Small switches at the rear.
It has a flight controller based on a SP F3 Racing EVO
which has a micro USB socket
the setting is done on cleanflight
Concerning the receiver there are three variants: FrSky, Flysky (FS-i6), DSM2.
I chose the FlySky receiver for compatibility with the FS-I6.
To recharge using a B3AC
or other chargers balance. Use the parallel charging socket provided.
For commissioning the first thing to do is to detach the second
battery located under the drone,
just to leave one. And fix the camera with the provided elastic.
So we will use the elastic that you find on a velcro.
I advise you to use the support of camera and protection sold as
accessories.

Then you will have to make a "Bind" with the radio control, if you want to know
what a "Bind" you can go watch my video on the "Bind".
If you have multiple drones or you want to have multiple configurations
create a new model.
for the radio FlySky FS-I6
and Eachine I6
Long press on "OK"
and again "OK" to enter in the System Menu and then
go to RX SETUP with "down" clicking "OK" AFHDS
"OK" "down" to disable one makes a long press cancel.
the remote control is ready to be "Bind".
When you connect the battery the drone for the first time,
LED flashing in this way.
This indicates that the receiver is not "Bind".
We will disconnect the battery. This procedure is not easy to do alone.
I advise you to pre-insert the battery connection to the drone.
without the current passes. For the "Bind" the simplest is to use
a small clamp like this one or a paperclip for example.
We connect the GND (-) and the "Bind" connector located here :

Then the battery is connected
the LED blinks rapidly, it is waiting for "binding" not to move the clamp
or paperclip. Turn on the remote control on by pressing
the "Bind" button at the same time.
The receiver LED turns solid
the procedure for "Bind" is successful.
We will disconnect the battery.
FYI the radio does not indicate
Turn off the radio, then on again.
Reconnect the battery
The LED flashes the drone is "Bind" ok.
Last configuration check or to do on the radio we will
do a long press on "OK" and on "down" to access the SETUP Menu
Clicking on "OK" to enter the System menu and then back to "down"
To access AUX. Channels
so we will press "up" or "down"
for the channel 5 is assigned to the source SwC
Long press on "cancel"
The hardware configuration is finished.
and to verify the configuration software on your PC
Open the Google Chrome browser to go to the top left applications
and Web Store
usually the first icon
in the input window you type "Cleanflight"
On the top right-click add to Chrome
it is indicated : verification
The application is installed you click on the icon Cleanflight.
You will perhaps have to download Pilot links are on your screen.
Always remove propellers before a connection.
We connect the USB drone. Top right indicated the connection port: one-click on connect.
The drone is connected, if you shake your drone, the virtual drone will react.
Cleanflight will allow you to change the entire configuration
and control your drone. But I will not to explain Cleanflight
in this video. We'll just check the arming button.
So we will left click on "mode".
Check for "ARM" the minimum value is 1450
and the maximum value of 2100
adjust as needed with sliders
and mode "Angle"
the minimum value is 1175
and the maximum value of 2100
adjust as needed with sliders.
Click at the bottom right on "save".
To check that this works we'll turn on the radio.
Then move the button 3 positions.
We just set.
we see on the card:
an LED indicates if the drone is armed or not
It's really great product for FPV races indoors
and even outdoors.
But you will add a radio control
and a screen or FPV glasses.
