Too Heavy for Your Pocket - About the Show - Duration: 1:11.(emphatic jazz music)
- Too Heavy for Your Pocket is really a conversation of,
how in my own personal life
do I participate in changing the world?
- This play examines the personal cost of progress.
And I think that those are exactly the kind of stories
we need to be telling and experiencing right now.
Too Heavy for Your Pocket takes place in 1961.
It's a history piece, but it's absolutely 100%
about living in America right now.
- My hope for Too Heavy for Your Pocket
is that people have a blast.
I want people to laugh.
I want people to get mad at the characters.
I want people to disagree with their friends
about the decisions that the characters make.
My hope is that, by dissecting this family,
we can really dissect ourselves, and think about,
well, what would I have done in this movement?
How would I have participated?
Would I have participated?
- This play is ultimately optimistic,
and posits that progress is possible,
that progress demands sacrifice,
but there's no going back, there's only moving forward.
Let's be on the right side of history.

3 Habits That Will Change Your Life - Duration: 8:46.Improvement Pill here welcome to lesson 4 of the tamed course in the previous
lessons we covered the strategy for this course how habits work and debunked some
of the biggest misconceptions regarding habits so if you have not watched the
previous lessons pause this video right now and click on the link in the
description below because remember in order for you to get the most out of
this course in order for you to really learn how to change your habits and
change your life you're gonna have to watch each and every single one of the
videos in today's video we're gonna talk about some of the best habits to adopt
so that you can pick one for yourself to focus on for the rest of the course but
before we get into the different habits that you should consider let me tell you
a short story so tom was your average guy he was in his late 20s he had a
decent paying job it wasn't very fit but at the same time he wasn't overweight he
did okay in life but like most people he had somewhat of an addiction his choice
of poison was smoking he would smoke four or five cigarettes a day which
isn't too bad but he knew it was a problem so eventually Tom meets a girl
her name is Janice and they really hit it off but Janice was really really
against smoking and wanted Tommy to quit Tom was in love and he knew that she was
right so he decided to give it his all and quit for good the quitting process
wasn't too bad for Tom it took him a while but after a year he was able to
quit smoking for good but that wasn't the only thing that changed about Tom he
started going to the gym he managed to lose some weight and put on some muscle
he also started reading a bit more his relationship with his co-workers and
boss and proved that he got a promotion for the first time in five years
stories like this are very common researchers have observed that time and
time again that when someone overcomes a bad habit or starts forming a new one a
whole slew of other good habits come with it they named this sort of habit a
keystone habit a single habit that causes you to adopt multiple other good
habits and change your life the reason I'm telling you the story is because
today you're going to pick a habit to focus on for the rest of this course and
the three habits that I'm gonna show you are three of the most powerful keys
don't have it's out there these habits have the highest chance of drastically
changing your life so if I'll further ado here are the
three most effective don't habits the first one is reading
most of you guys probably know by now that I'm a huge fan of reading when I
first started my self development journey this was the first habit that I
started implementing into my life I would read just about every single day
on my commute to work because of this I would finish a book a week now everyone
knows that education is important that's why we spend twelve to eighteen years
and buildings that are designed to teach us things
however the problem lies in the fact that most of the stuff we learned in
school isn't that useful in real life what was the last time you had a user
history knowledge or your knowledge of calculus these things are nice to know
and have their uses but aren't that practical in our day to day lives
instead we need to be learning about things like social skills maintaining a
proper diet how to exercise money management things that we don't really
learn correctly in school books provide you with knowledge on all of these
topics they also give you different perspectives on things that we assumed
to be true for example most people assume they should always buy a car but
if you read books on investing or money management you'll often come across the
idea that hey it's actually better to lease a car and this is actually true
literally all of the car salesmen that I personally know leased their cars they
don't buy them and by reading you'll often find that you'll start adjusting
other areas of your life if you're reading a book on body language you'll
start becoming more conscious of your own body language as well as those
around you if you read a book on money management you start noticing a change
in your spending habits and because of its ability to influence any part of
your life in a positive way reading is without a doubt one of the most powerful
Keystone habits out there the next keystone habit is meditation I have tons
of videos on meditation and you guys probably know by now that I'm a huge
advocate for it the reason meditation is so powerful is because of what it does
to your brain it trains a part of your brain that's responsible for willpower
for self-control and just like going to the gym if you train it it actually gets
stronger and this gives you the ability to do certain things things that I
consider to be superpowers for example you'll find yourself more in control of
your emotion and this is great because oftentimes we
relapse or give into our addictions when our emotions are all over the place
another thing meditation trains you to do is focus longer meditation is simply
the act of trying to focus your mind on one thing and this is extremely hard for
people nowadays when you start meditating and making it into a habit
you'll notice a drastic increase in your ability to focus maybe in the past you
were the type of person who couldn't even read two pages of a book without
getting sidetracked a lot of people report increased focus being able to
read entire chapters at a time after making meditation into a habit and the
last superpower that Meditation provides is a sense of general well-being do you
remember that sort of awe and joy you had as a kid when a little things in
life would excite you meditation brings back that sort of mindset that sort of
perspective where you can sit down on a park bench and simply be mind blown by
just how beautiful everything around you is meditation is an extremely powerful
Keystone habit because it in itself is a very very hard habit to stick to but if
you can make it into a habit that you do automatically every day that means your
levels of willpower have skyrocket dramatically and adopting other habits
will become a piece of cake the third and final keys don't have it that we're
gonna speak about today is fitness and this includes everything ranging from
running to lifting heavy weights to doing calisthenics Fitness is an
extremely powerful keys don't have it because of its intimate relationship
with diet researchers have found that most people who start sticking to a
fitness regimen will often find themselves adjusting their diet as well
even if they're told not to it makes sense because if you're working your ass
off at the gym you're less likely to consume junk food right after because it
quote unquote undos all of your hard work and because these two habits
basically come in a package together it requires a lot of willpower to maintain
so if you can successfully make them into full-fledged habits you'll be able
to take on smaller habits with ease for those of you that are curious as to how
willpower works we're gonna cover all of that later on in the course but for now
just understand that it does work like a muscle the more you test it destroy
it becomes on top of that the habit of fitness and diet has a huge influence on
how you feel every single day many people report feeling tired or foggy and
oftentimes the problem stems from our diet or our lack of exercise once these
people start adopting these two good habits they often report feeling much
better and if you start feeling better on a day to day basis it makes it much
easier to start adopting other good habits this ability to improve your
body's day-to-day function makes fitness and diet an extremely powerful Keystone
habit so again here are the three Keystone habits that we just talked
about reading meditation fitness and diet now I know I know there's dozens of
other good habits out there like cold showers morning rituals making your bed
etc but these three Keystone habits are without a doubt three of the most
powerful habits that you can add to your life so what I like for you to do right
now is to think carefully about which habit you want to work on for the rest
of this course which of these habits are you going to commit to to try to stick
to until it reaches that line of automaticity that we talked about
well you no longer even have to think about doing it that's the goal it's also
very important to note that you should only try to stick to one of these habits
at a time we humans are extremely bad at multitasking although we tend to think
that we're pretty good I can just about guarantee that if you're trying to adopt
multiple habits at once that you're going to get overwhelmed and fail stick
to the single keystone habit you decide on it until it reaches that line of
automaticity do not I repeat do not try to adopt any other good habits until
that keys don't have it you picked is completely embedded in your life so what
I like for you to do right now is to think hard about which of these three
habits you're gonna stick to for the rest of this course make your decision
and let me know what you picked in the comments below
next week we're gonna start talking about how you can start forming this
habit how to strategically pick a cue that will increase your chances of
sticking to this habit how to get closer to the line of automaticity without
working your ass off and much much more this episode is brought to you if the

I don't know, I don't know Am I being chased by the sand wind? Yeah
I don't know, I don't know Is this the sea or the desert? Is this hope or despair? Is this real or fake? shit

Alchimia interviews Augusto Vitale at ExpoGrow 2017 - Duration: 12:01.We're here with Augusto Vitale, who is a psychologist, psychoanalyst
and member of the Institute for Regulation and Control of Cannabis in Uruguay, the IRCCA. How are you, Augusto?
All good. Thank you very much for the invite to participate here in the Forum, to share my experiences and, well, to you, for coming and asking these questions.
It's a pleasure! I was talking with my partner Dani a couple of years ago, in Uruguay they were preparing the dispensation of cannabis in pharmacies.
He was, well he was working there, you and your team were working… more than anything, I'd like to know what happened in these 2 years?
Has it started up? Tell me a little about the experience.
Well, in the two years since the approval of the law and since the Institute began to acquire greater capacity and the institutional backing
to be able to fulfil its tasks, well, the register for domestic cultivation has opened, for members clubs, a whole process
of guidelines on the regulation and habilitation of these activities, accompanied by a public information campaign outlining the conditions to the ways
in which users can more and more opt for the regulated system. This began successfully, with a few thousand users registering, but we also had to examine
the implementation aspect regarding pharmacies, and that's what has been going on recently and what we've been working on these past 2 years.
On July 19, dispensation opened in 16 pharmacies across the country, which I think was a great achievement…not only to incorporate these pharmacies,
which also deal with public health, in a policy that seeks to improve harm reduction and from a health and rights perspective,
but also to provide an alternative outlet, a different answer to the problem of substance use and access,
which in Uruguayan law has not been penalised since 1974. Therefore, there was a contradiction in the application of the Law,
in which something that was not penalised by the Law did not have clear rules of access for personal use in the case of recreational use.
For medicinal use, regulations were also established that advanced… there is a series of 15 to 20 projects that have been presented for research and development
of products at the pharmaceutical level and at the level of plant specialties, like preparations, and it advanced something else that was also unregulated
and that the country didn't yet have the capacity to develop, which was the industrial use of hemp. So, now there are 7 companies with permits working in the country.
Those have been the new developments in these 2 years:
the opening of the dispensation system in pharmacies that was very much an innovation, and these types of licenses, which are already in use.
2 very intense years, I suppose, for Augusto and for the IRCCA, in the end. I wanted to ask you:
with the launch of cannabis in pharmacies, they've released a couple of strains,
dispensed in envelopes in zip bags, they're very specific varieties with levels of THC, CBD, and with more than 13,600 registered users…I wanted ask you
will there be more varieties? Is it possible, apart from the extractions you were saying that you were preparing, will there be more varieties, different levels?
Yes, this was the first foray with 2 exclusive varieties, of rather low or medium/low content in their relationship between the main cannabinoids,
but they're already experimenting with other varieties that they had in reserve, to allow some variation and also to carry out a study
into the type of requirements of a standard user, someone who is not a connoisseur, who also exist in the Club, both in the Club and in personal cultivation,
and that this would be a way to demonstrate that the increase you talked about, that in 20 days we've gone from 5,000 to 13,000 or over 12,000 people registered,
this is because there's a type of user who isn't going to be too fussy and isn't looking for high THC strains, so with a moderately potent variety
they would have access a very good product in terms of terpenes, quality, all the controls that the material must pass…
Do you know, more or less, how many doses have been dispensed in this time? Are we talking about kilos, I don't know. Just to have a figure, for all of Uruguay…
Yes, yes… more than 100 kilos have already been dispensed, if we are going to talk concretely, but the licenses we've granted are up to 2 tons for each company
and that's calculated based on a market size of nearly 20,000 people. Therefore, as that number grows, it's very likely that we'll have to make a new call for production,
but that's where these other varieties would come in, and with a previous study comprising clinical trials, we could release them to the market too.
But it's an option, let's say it's one more option, but it's not the only one because there are two perfectly assimilable scenarios.
In Clubs and auto-cultivation, where there are also licenses, and, of course somewhere you can also access cannabis via these means.
It's important to point out that these forms of access are mutually exclusive,
this is to some extent to avoid exceeding the limit of substance or product for each person. As a result, the user has to choose between being a grower
or going through a pharmacy, or joining a Members Club. And we have accepted that this is a more restrictive beginning
to be able to actually enable us to develop a policy of consensus, also with some support at the political level, that can be viable and feasible.
Recently, well, there've been some problems for the pharmacies, especially with the financial issue.
The banks, or some banks that were working with the pharmacies didn't want to give them the support or to finance them, or to work with them on a day-to-day basis, right?
I know they started with 16 locations, I think now we're down to 11 pharmacies… this has been a problem, correct?
Yes, it's a problem with the international system of financial control that basically is applied by a US law controlling
and regulating its own banking activity, which in some way collides or clashes with the national sovereign law in our territory.
But it's not only a matter of sovereignty, it's also a commercial issue, at an international level. So, as this activity is not there,
the characteristic that it has from our point of view is that it's fully licensed and controlled and traced,
then it could even be said in economic terms that it is encapsulated and its point of departure and its movements are totally demonstrable,
as are the players involved in this process, where the money goes and where it comes from. So, even with these guarantees, we haven't yet been able to raise awareness
to the point that this is an activity where banks accept the risk of opening an account for operators in Uruguay.
In the case of some financial houses, including the Uruguayan public bank, the obligation is because, having subsidiaries abroad
and within the US system itself, it is not possible to develop such a system after the negotiation has already started without being sanctioned.
Yes, I know that the ex-president Mújica began to work in this direction. A national bank or something that could support these pharmacies…
Yes, and this government administration has just returned from a delegation in Washington, not only with the US Treasury Department,
but also with lawmakers who are working on a Safe Banking Act to solve this problem because the US has 29 states
that have some system regulating access to cannabis, and they can carry out this activity but they've had these same problems,
however, there they have a figure that we do not have in Uruguay, which is the Credit Cooperative, the Credit Union, or the cooperative banks,
which although they exist at a formal level, don't have the products which the banks in Uruguay work with.
And with that, we're there, we'll see…it's complicated, but I think this can be resolved via this kind of route.
Yes, we still have a financial problem, but, all the same we're happy
to have fully implemented the Law and that the channels that were enshrined in that legislation are fully open.
I guess it's more normal to work this way, right? Trying to get banks to finally fund or work with pharmacies.
Or… I do not know if you've also considered other types of dispensaries, like some states in the US.
Yes, it's even been raised in a press conference held two days ago by the secretary, that it would be opened up via a modification
in the regulatory decree, which would allow the possibility of other establishments specifically dedicated to the dispensation of cannabis in a regulated system,
opening and working on this activity using cash, and that's a way to alleviate the situation until they can join these 2 policies up again,
and put the economic policy on the same track as the drug regulation.
I love the work you've done at IRCCA. Do you think that in Europe or in Spain we could see something similar soon?
Well, we expect that we will be accompanied and learn together as well, because at different times Spain has contributed much to Drug Policy,
and also has a critical mass and a development of activism and work at the civil society level,
which I think is giving a very good weight to the debate and bringing a lot to the table, but it needs to be on the political agenda as well.
To put the discussion on to the agenda about what type of regulation may be necessary for an activity that already has a developed use,
and also conditions of care at the level of prevention, because here we've had very good experiences in harm reduction and working with users.
So, without neglecting this aspect, they might also be encouraged to make some of the regulations relating to a much-questioned paradigm more flexible,
the paradigm being the prohibition of use of substances, but lacking an alternative of prevention,
proximity policy, information… and ultimately of making responsible decisions within a rights framework.
I think we're also on the right track here. Augusto Vitale, I love it, I really like the work you have done at IRCCA.
Thank you very much for your time, and keep at it… thank you very much.
Great. Many thanks to you for inviting me to talk and well, until next time.
See you soon. Best of luck!

Recycling Song | What if Everybody Did It? | Go Green | Kids Songs - Duration: 2:29.I was feeling oh, so fancy in my brand new pair of shoes
That my Auntie had just bought me Such a lovely shade of blue.
Then suddenly, it happened Like it happened twice before
Something pink and sticky made my shoe stick to the floor
A piece of gum had carelessly been tossed into the street!
The street's not meant for gum It's meant for bicycles and feet
Now, you might be thinking It was just one little piece
But there's a bigger problem here that I fear just may increase
If everybody did it, there'd be gum everywhere
We'd be sticking to each other There'd be gum in our hair!
There are billions of people A stick for each one
would mean billions of chewed up pink sticky gum!
Oh, It sure wouldn't be fun if everybody did it!
What if everybody did it?
If we all threw our trash on the ground?
There'd be no room to run and play The trash would be piled in mounds!
The air would be smelly and filled with flies Every day, the garbage would double in size
Using Earth as a dumpster just wouldn't be wise
What if everybody did it?
What if everybody did it?
What if everybody picked up the litter that they found
and threw it in the garbage instead of throwing it on the ground
What if everyone recycled Their paper, glass, and cans
We each could make a difference The power's in our hands
What if everybody planted a tiny little seed
Think of all the beautiful flowers, plants and trees
What if everybody did it?

with a declared maximum speed of 40 km/h
it's not so cool,
but we know that Inmotion makes compact high-quality electric unicycles
and Ninebot can lose Inmotion in terms of its convenience.
so we are looking forward to the New Year holidays
to make a detailed review-comparison about the two highest quality
electric uni-cycles from Ninebot and Inmotion,
because our company Ecodrift is the distributor of which.
Anothe news: Inmotion planned to upgrade this bike
and to appear a new gyroscope on the American market.
all these news worries us a little,
because we are interested in electric transport for Russian market
we thank our friend and say goodbye to you.

JFK files: Trump teases release as deadline arrives | Final Release of JFK Assassination Files - Duration: 2:49.More than 50 years after President John F. Kennedy was killed
Americans on Thursday may finally get the US government's full accounting of his assassination.
That's if President Donald Trump doesn't do anything.
The White House has yet to signal whether Trump would allow the full release of the government's classified documents on the assassination or instead elect to keep some files secret.
As the deadline nears, the White House did not respond to multiple requests for comment asking whether Trump planned to invoke his waiver privilege to keep some of the documents secret
as some members of the US intelligence community have privately requested. A decision to withhold even a sliver of the documents could give conspiracy theorists more fodder to propel their claims.
Trump, for his part, once again teased the release of the documents on Wednesday
but did not make clear whether he planned on allowing the full release
In a Saturday tweet, Trump said he would allow the release of the documents "subject to the release of further information."
The deadline comes 25 years after the enactment of that law
which mandated the release of all government documents related to the Kennedy assassination in an attempt to quell conspiracy theories that have long swirled around the assassination.
Historians who have closely studied the Kennedy assassination have said
they do not expect the documents to reveal any bombshells or to contradict the conclusion that Lee Harvey Oswald was solely responsible for killing Kennedy.
Still, the files will give Americans a fuller picture of how the 35th US president was killed and the ensuing investigation into his assassination.
"There's going to be no smoking gun in there," Gerald Posner, the author of "Case Closed: Lee Harvey Oswald and the Assassination of JFK," told CNN's Michael Smerconish on Saturday.
"Anybody who thinks this is going to turn the case on its head and suddenly show that there were three or four shooters at Dealey Plaza -- it's not the case."
"Oswald did it alone," Posner continued. "But what the files are doing and why they're important to come out is they fill in the history of the case and show us how the FBI and CIA repeatedly hid the evidence."
The CIA and FBI documents could also shed new light on Oswald's mysterious trip to Mexico City weeks before the assassination.
The files could also reveal new details about US involvement in attempts to assassinate Cuban President Fidel Castro, notably the CIA's alleged ties to the mob as part of that effort.
Trump has been encouraged allow the full release of the files by several Republican figures in the lead-up to the document dump deadline.
