Arsene Wenger mocks Jose Mourinho's claim that Manchester United are at a financial disadvantage - Duration: 2:12.

Arsene Wenger mocks Jose Mourinho's claim that Manchester United are at a financial disadvantage

Mourinho claimed he needed more money to make his side title challengers after yesterday's 2-2 draw against Burnley at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese boss has spent close to £300million in 18 months at Old Trafford and the club have invested nearly £600million since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.

Wenger operated under huge financial constraints between 2006 and 2013 when Arsenal were paying for a big money move to the Emirates.

Arsenal have since emerged from a period of low spending but Wenger says the Gunners have always been at a financial disadvantage and says Manchester United have far more to spend than they do.

'I have been in that position for 21 years so I will not start to complain now,' said Wenger.

'I have always had one team at least – sometimes four – who were richer than I was, so I learned to cope with that and deal with that.

'What is most important is that you deal with your own situation as well as you can and, yes, Manchester City are richer than us and, yes, Chelsea is richer than us and, yes, Manchester United are richer than us.

But I still believe we have to find a way to be successful.'.

Arsenal continue their Premier League campaign with a trip to Crystal Palace on Thursday but will be without Nacho Monreal and Olivier Giroud.

The French forward sustained a hamstring injury against West Ham in the League Cup and will be sidelined for around a month.

Chelsea join Manchester United in race to sign Real Madrid star Gareth Bale - Duration: 1:43.

Chelsea join Manchester United in race to sign Real Madrid star Gareth Bale

The 28-year-old is likely to leave the Bernabeu in the summer after an injury-ravaged 18 months and Madrid hope to recoup a large slice of the £87.5million they paid for him in 2013.

Bale chose Madrid over Manchester United when he left Tottenham but the Red Devils have consistently been linked with the Wales international.

Jose Mourinho admitted last summer that he was interested in signing Bale and was caught trying to persuade the winger to move to Old Trafford after a pre-season friendly.

However, Spanish publication Sport claims that Chelsea have entered the race to sign Bale and are willing to match United's offer.

Madrid are believed to value Bale at around £80million and Chelsea are said to be willing to pay a 'good fee' for the former Spurs man.

Bale is open to moving back to the Premier League after a trophy-laden five years in Spain.

Antonio Conte was far from pleased with his club's transfer business last summer and is demanding significant funds to invest.

Chelsea's title defence is all but over with the Blues currently 13 points behind leaders Manchester City having played a game more.

Kellyanne Conway and Ivanka Trump both drove Merriam Websters top words of 2018 - Duration: 2:15.

Kellyanne Conway and avantco Trump both Joe of merriam-webster's top words of

multiple West Wing advisors sent voters scurrying to the dictionary during the first calendar year of the Donald Trump era

according to merriam-webster s

Editor-at-large Peter sagal offski sickle offski was interviewed by National Public Radio to explain some of the top words of the year

White House senior advisor Kellyanne

Conway helped make feminism the word of the year

The next big spike we saw was in February when Kelly Anne Conway said in an interview that she didn t consider herself a feminist

Sickle offski explained and that has the kind of thing that triggers dictionary curiosity because the word itself was the story

White House senior advisor and first daughter, Ivanka Trump helped complicit make the list so what we have is for example

Complicit the word that was used in a skit on Saturday Night Live about Ivanka Trump

And then the word was used in an interview with the banker Trump and there in the interview

She said I don t know what complicit means SiC Olaf's keynoted, and you better believe that sends people to the dictionary

Sickle offski says the dictionary has been compiling the list since 2003

But it all started decades ago the real interesting story here

Is that we never had a measure of the public s curiosity until we put the dictionary online and?

suddenly we could see what words people were looking up and when

The first time this happened was just 20 years ago when Princess Diana died and the word that was most looked up was paparazzi

SiC Olaf's Kira counted and

So we were able to see when the public was really thinking about according to what they were looking up in the dictionary

President Trump himself helped carnage and cough F

ousted chief strategist Steve Bannon did the same for Svengali the list may be even more important in the Trump era and

That in an age of alternative facts and fake news having a neutral arbiter of meaning ends up being pretty

Important to a lot of people and turning to the dictionary in these moments is not just for spelling or pronunciation

But also may be the beginning of reflection and philosophy sickle offski hoped

I mean the word love is one of the most looked up words in the dictionary and it was

What The Cast Of Vikings Looks Like In Real Life - Duration: 6:51.

Strip away all the fierce makeup, battle-coiffed hairstyles, and intricate tattoos, and the

Norse warriors on Vikings are just like the rest of us...if we were all muscular and ridiculously

good looking, anyway.

Sure, their characters look like they'd fit right into the Viking Age of history, but

here's what these 21st-century actors look like in real life.

Travis Fimmel

Though he doesn't sport Ragnar's shaved head and ZZ Top beard in real life, Travis Fimmel

still looks pretty Vikingly, with a blonde beard and striking blue eyes.

The actor and model doesn't actually hail from the northlands of Scandinavia, though.

Rather, he comes from down under, and was raised on his family's farm in Australia.

Fimmel is set to write and produce a scripted anthology series for the History Channel detailing

the stories of some of history's biggest anti-heroes, and is set to star as the gunslingin' Wyatt

Earp on the new series' first episode.

Katheryn Winnick

It's easy to argue that Katheryn Winnick is the most iconically Viking-looking actor on

the entire show, even if she doesn't really hail from Scandinavia—she's actually Canadian.

And Winnick doesn't only kick ass on TV.

The actress has been training in martial arts since childhood, and boasts some serious credentials.

Winnick told StarPulse:

"I got into my first [martial arts] school when I was 16.

I have a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a 2nd degree black belt in Karate."

She's also a licensed bodyguard and self-defense instructor.

So don't mess with Earl Ingstad.

Alexander Ludwig

Over the course of the show's run, Vikings fans have watched Ragnar Lothbrok's firstborn

son grow up from a momma's boy to a bear-killing warrior.

As his character has aged, we've seen actor Alexander Ludwig's look transition from short

hair and and a peach fuzz beard to a shaved head with one extra-long, braided ponytail.

In real life, Ludwig keeps a beard going, though he doesn't walk around California with

a waist-long Viking ponytail.

Though Ludwig obviously didn't play the child version of Björn in the show, he has been

acting since he was a child.

Most notably, Ludwig took home an MTV Movie Award for Best Fight thanks to his role as

Cato in The Hunger Games.

Clive Standen

Rollo is one of the most fearsome Vikings on the show, and he always looked the part,

with long, dark hair and a bushy beard.

In real life, however, Clive Standen looks less ferocious, as he tends to stay sharp

with short, tidy hair and a finely-trimmed beard.

But don't let that clean-shaven appearance fool you.

The actor has been riding horses, jousting and sword fighting since childhood, and is

also a Muay Thai expert — meaning you wouldn't want to challenge Standen on any battlefield,

Viking or not.

Gustaf Skarsgård

As his name implies, Gustaf Skarsgård is one of Vikings' only true Scandinavians, though

he looks a lot less fearsome in real life.

While Flóki is famous for sporting a beard and that iconic crying makeup, Skarsgård

stays clean-shaven and professional, just like the rest of his actor-filled family.

It's a big family, too.

His father, Stellan Skarsgård, is easily the most famous of the family, having appeared

in Good Will Hunting, the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo,

and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

You may also know Gustaf's brother, Alexander Skarsgård, for his roles as Eric Northman

in HBO's long-running series True Blood and the title character in The Legend of Tarzan.

And chances are, you know his other brother, Bill, thanks to his performance as Pennywise

in Stephen King's It.

That's one seriously prolific family.

Alyssa Sutherland

In the role of Queen Aslaug, Alyssa Sutherland can bewitch even a Viking king with her stunning

looks — a trait to be expected in a famous, real-life fashion model.

Sutherland got her modeling start when Cadbury revived its iconic "Flake Girl" advertising

campaign.

She's since been featured in campaigns for such brands as Calvin Klein and Chanel , among

others.

Not many models make the successful transition to acting like Sutherland already has, so

we'll have to wait and see if this Vikings star lands more prime roles in the future.

Maude Hirst

With her long blonde hair and kind face, Maude Hirst was a perfect casting choice for Helga,

the wife of Flóki, though she undoubtedly had some help.

Her father is Michael Hirst, the writer and producer of Elizabeth, The Tudors and Vikings.

Hirst doesn't credit her father for getting her into the acting biz, though.

She told View of the Arts:

"I was always creative, I didn't grow up much with my father.

I was raised by my mum who is an artist and that's what probably influenced my creativity."

While there's no doubt Hirst deserves the role of Helga, it certainly never hurts to

have your father as the show's producer.

Linus Roache

Give him a crown, and Linus Roache looks almost identical to King Ecbert in real life.

Aside from Vikings, most television viewers probably know him best as Michael Cutter in

the long-running crime drama Law & Order.

On top of all that, Roache has also made quite a few big screen appearances, with roles in

Priest, Batman Begins, and The Chronicles of Riddick, among others.

Moe Dunford

Though he plays the English Prince Aethelwulf in Vikings, actor Moe Dunford is actually

Irish — a fact slightly masked by the show's producers, who've given the character dark

brown hair rather than Dunford's natural red.

Irish audiences, however, are certainly inclined to recognize Dunford as the actor who played

Patrick Fitzgerald in Patrick's Day — an award-winning Irish drama centered around

a 26-year-old schizophrenic and his St. Patrick's Day disappearance in Dublin.

Jennie Jacques

Take Vikings' Judith out of her medieval princess garb and stick her in some 21st-century clothes,

and you have actress Jennie Jacques.

Besides a wardrobe change and some makeup, very little seems to be done to actually change

Jacques' appearance for the show.

Jacques is no stranger to the historical drama.

Fans may recognize the actress from her other major role as Annie Miller in the BBC series

Desperate Romantics.

She's also an advocate for epilepsy awareness and recently completed an open water swim

and a Spartan Sprint to raise money for the Epilepsy Society.

Alex Andersen

Like his character Ivar the Boneless, Alex Andersen almost never sports a beard.

Unlike his character, however, he looks a lot less scary in real life.

And as you probably guessed, Andersen's legs work just fine.

Aside from Vikings, Andersen also appeared in the Danish drama A War, which received

a nomination for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 88th Academy Awards.

John Kavanagh

You probably won't recognize Vikings' The Seer from anywhere, considering the blind

oracle is covered in an extensive amount of makeup, has no eyes, and is most frequently

portrayed in his dark hut.

John Kavanagh obviously doesn't look grotesque in real life, which may be why you missed

the fact that he also played the Pope in a Season 4 episode.

Now that you know what he looks like, you might recognize Kavanagh from The Tudors,

as well as minor roles in bigger films like The Black Dahlia and Braveheart.

Whether or not Kavanagh enjoys having his palm regularly licked by Vikings' stars, however,

is best left to speculation.

Arsenal make move for £40m midfielder Julian Draxler to replace first team star ● News Now ● #AFC - Duration: 2:26.

Arsenal are interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Julian Draxler in the January transfer

window.

With Alexis Sanchez's contract situation still not resolved, it's important that

Arsenal have potential replacements lined up in January to come in should the Chilean

leave.

Sanchez's current deal runs out at the end of the season meaning the Gunners could be

forced to sell him next month.

The report that one potential replacement is Paris Saint-Germain player Julian Draxler,

who Arsene Wenger sees as the ideal candidate.

The paper say the Gunners have even already made initial enquiries into making the deal

happen.

There's a snag though, with Arsenal only willing to pay up to £30million for the German,

with the French club holding out for a £40million fee, according to the report.

Does he have what it takes to replace Sanchez's contribution at the Emirates?

Sanchez's direct goal contribution to Arsenal over the years has been quite incredible.

The former Barcelona man has scored or assisted 124 goals in 162 appearances for the Gunners,

being one of their most important players for years now.

While Draxler is obviously a capable player, he doesn't have that kind of raw direct

goal contribution in his locker, failing to reach double figures for goals since the 2013/14

season when he still played for Schalke.

He's also spent the majority of this season playing in a more central midfield role for

PSG.

Still just 24, he could grow into the elite, Sanchez-level talent that Wenger is reported

to see him as, but he'd have a lot of work to do to replace what the Chilean currently

offers.

2017 in Review, Part 2: Understanding & Supporting Neurodiversity | EDB 110 - Duration: 11:01.

Hi I'm Dr. Hackie Reitman.

Welcome to the second part of our special two part episode of Exploring Different Brains.

What we are doing is we are taking the highlights of the amazing interviews of 2017 with neurodiversity

leaders from all over the world…and in this second part we are going to bring you parents,

advocates, specialists, and experts from all around the globe to tell us their approach

to different brains.

We are going to start off with Dr. Christopher Stout, who has helped people all over the

world.

"Health is perhaps the most common denominator in a region's potential for success as it

is so intertwined with economic sustainability, eradicating poverty, preventing war, mitigating

violence, and fostering social prosperity."

Can you expound upon that in terms of acceptance of mental health and everything we're talking

about here?

I had worked at the United Nations 1998-1999 and one of the things that I worked on was

the aspect of looking at mental health and substance abuse visa vie sustainable development.

And sort of the argument or the thesis that I had in that which relates back to the quote,

that you very generously used, was that if without mental health there is no health so

to speak.

That issues of you can be the needing this kind of assistance regardless of whatever

kind of circumstance it's going to be hard to be a good parent, it's going to be hard

to be a good worker, it's going to be hard to be a good contributor to your community,

or to your tribe, or whatever.

And it makes it really ironically I think a fundamental aspect of being successful in

every other aspect of one's life, even if you're you know biologically so to speak

or physically fit or healthy.

If you are suffering with debilitating chronic clinical depression, you're not going to

be able to go work, you're not going to be able to support a family things like that.

So that's the kind of aspect of you know what that point was trying to get to.

I think it dates back to a few hundred years where people tried to separate the mind from

the body as if it were two components of a system that never really talked about another

and at least my angle is going to be some higher order type of cognitive thinking and

the body was meant to be basically the mechanics and they were not connected so if you're

going to see someone if you have mental health issue people believe that it must be due to

this nebulas concept of a mind and that its some how your responsibility or at least partially

your responsibility and it has nothing to do with your body.

Well we know now that this is completely incorrect.

The brain is the most complex organ in the universe, it has connections with you heart,

it has connections with basically everything else and to give your friend the heart analogy

we now know that individuals who have heart disease often also have mental manifestations

of that heart disease and brain stress or distress in the brain is also associated with

cardiac arrest and cardiovascular disease.

It's one system.

I think some people like to make it simple, but as my professor used to say it can only

be as simple as it really is.

For most of us we've had options as our lives have changed as we've learned, as

we become employed as we've had you know have been married and had a life.

And so we want more options for people for where they go after they leave their family

home and then to allow them to grow to set the bar much higher than it was set for me

and for our family when we were told 24 years ago to plan to love, accept, and institutionalize

our son because there's no hope for people with autism.

And I committed back then, and I remain committed now that that is not the option, the only

option for people with autism there are so many more.

And we're trying to be an example.

So that when a child is diagnosed today we can not only tell that family that they can

have a job in a home and friends in a supportive community.

We can actually show them and what a different lifestyle that represents for a family who's

just had a diagnosis of autism to set the bar much higher than it was set for us.

And we all know the difference that hope can make in any of our lives to get out of bed

in the morning or get out of the closet or wherever we might be hiding from, to recognize

that it is another day, there's more that we can do and that we can all have greater

hope for a future.

That's what all of us deserve.

It's so awful to a parent, it's so stigmatizing and upsetting that, to some degree not consciously

but unconsciously, parents don't notice the symptom because they can't bear the

idea that "maybe my child really has — whatever it is."

I think that if we as a nation could bring in such the same place as you just pointed

out, that we bring pancreases, hearts, livers and other organs that we don't have a problem

talking about or going to the doctor for, that parents would recognize what is happening

with their child and bring them for the treatment that they need

I think the biggest thing is to realize that ADHD is not their fault.

They're not lazy, it's not their fault.

They're not stupid, they're wonderful, incredible people that need a boost in self-confidence.

And they need encouragement, and they need positivity.

Their whole life they're getting "hurry up, stop doing that, do something else, what's

wrong with you, you can do this," and they're not given enough positive reinforcement.

I guess the biggest challenge is being able to navigate through the land mines of different

people with such strong opinions that they maybe they don't mean to be nasty or insulting

but when their own belief system is challenged, they lash out so Denise's list is a moderated

list so that means that I have to approve everything before it goes on this is the reason

why it is still here 15 years later because otherwise it would people would have been

stalking off in just Kai anger.

That is the challenge.

Keeping everybody civil and not distributing those posts that are not.

I have to read every single one of the posts before it gets distributed.

Who decides what's beneath or above somebody?

Every individual with a disability or not gets to determine where they want to work

or how they want to live, it's not up to us to judge that and I think it's huge mistake

for people to judge being too beneath somebody.

That job could be a final job for someone and that could be absolutely brilliant or

it could be a stepping stone to some other job once they have learned some fundamental

job skills but I can tell you in the car wash, those young adults with autism that are working

there are not only earning a wage for the first time in many cases, they have created

social relationships with people within their workplace that they never had before.

They are going out together on their own, they are hosting events, not with the owners

facilitating or coordinating.

They have created a social niche for themselves that they didn't have before.

They have developed empathy for their fellow workers, people are volunteering to go and

pick someone up who might have to take 2 or 3 buses in order to get there.

They would have never have done that before in some cases.

You know a lot of my film work is set in schools.

And I think teachers work incredibly hard, I have so much respect for them.

I mean we're always asking them to do more and more and more but I think that one of

the ways education is changing that helps the neurodiverse population and kids like

my son and your child is to do something that's called Universal Design for Learning, which

means just like a building can be universally designed so that anybody can get into it,

you know might have accommodations for people who are blind or deaf, have automatic doors

people that use wheelchairs, education can be that way there could be a lot of access

points.

So for instance when my son is in his English class he has great English teachers.

They might assign an assignment to him, or to the whole class.

They might say, "Listen, you can listen to this, you can watch a video about it, you

can do a skit, you can read about it, you can go into the community and learn about

it that way."

So you're giving kids five different ways.

So all different learners can find their passion, their way to do it.

And then when it comes time to show what you know, you can write a poem you know, perform

a little dialogue with somebody, or skit, you can do a short film which Samuel often

does as his homework assignments he makes a short video or a film.

So I think it's important to give kids in a school realm lots of different ways to explore

those passions, because you know a kid might think they hate history until they watch that

documentary that Ken Burns just made on Vietnam, and say "wow history is actually fascinating

now that I can experience it this way."

Trump LIVID After Learning How Sessions Worked To Bury Biggest Scandal In American History. - Duration: 5:06.

Trump LIVID After Learning How Sessions Worked To Bury Biggest Scandal In American History.

It's only a matter of time until Hillary, Obama, and their lackeys are exposed for the

traitors and criminals that they are.

The walls are closing in on them and recently in November, FBI informant William Campbell

came forward saying that he has damning evidence that links Hillary and Obama to the Uranium

Scandal where he'll soon testify in court and reveal what he knows.

Campbell has already given the Justice Department overwhelming evidence that proves how corrupt

Hilary and Obama are.

Much of Campbell's testimonies have revealed information about kickbacks and money laundering

with Russian officials.

But as more information is coming out, Attorney General Jeff Sessions is being implicated

now as well.

New evidence proves that he's been working with Hillary and Obama to sweep the scandal

under the rug.

Ever since Trump was sworn into office, he has been faced with numerous traitors from

within who don't want to see the swamp drained.

They are perfectly content with the status quo and will stop at nothing to keep Trump

from succeeding.

For a while now, people have wondered whose side Jeff Sessions was on.

Now with this new information, we finally know.

A scathing report shows that under Sessions, the Justice Department downplayed critical

evidence that linked Obama and Hillary to the Uranium One Scandal.

The Hill reports:

For instance, both Attorney General Jeff Sessions in testimony last week and Deputy Attorney

General Rod Rosenstein in a letter to the Senate last month tried to suggest there was

no connection between Uranium One and the nuclear bribery case.

Their argument was that the criminal charges weren't filed until 2014, while the Committee

of Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) approval of the Uranium One sale occurred

in October 2010.

"The way I understand that matter is that the case in which Mr. Mikerin was convicted

was not connected to the CFIUS problem that occurred two to three years before," Sessions

testified to the House Judiciary Committee last week, echoing Rosenstein's letter from

a few weeks earlier.

But investigative records show FBI counterintelligence recorded the first illicit payments in the

bribery/kickback scheme in November 2009, a year before the CFIUS approval.

Trump is fed up with Hillary being excused of numerous crimes and is now issuing a dire

warning to Jeff Sessions and the entire Justice Department.

Unless Sessions steps in and prosecutes Hillary, Trump says he will be forced to step in and

take drastic measures.

"A lot of people are disappointed in the Justice Department, including me," Trump

told reporters.

Supreme Journalist reported:

Breitbart.com reports: Trump said that the Justice Department should be investigating

Democrats and the Clintons, sharing several observations on Twitter.

"This is real collusion and dishonesty," Trump wrote on Twitter Thursday night, responding

to Donna Brazile's revelation that Hillary Clinton's campaign was controlling DNC operations

and fundraising well before winning her primary.

"Major violation of Campaign Finance Laws and Money Laundering – where is our Justice

Department?" Trump wondered.

The president appears unhappy with Attorney General Jeff Sessions failure to investigate

the Clintons, despite recent revelations about their "crooked" behavior.

Trump said he thought Clinton's "deleted E-mails, Uranium, Podesta, the Server, plus,

plus…" all deserved closer scrutiny.

"People are angry," Trump continued on Twitter.

"At some point, the Justice Department, and the FBI must do what is right and proper.

The American public deserves it!"

Trump also spoke about his frustration with the Justice Department in an interview with

Fox News host Laura Ingraham.

"The saddest thing is because I'm the President of the United States, I'm not

supposed to be involved in the Justice Department, I am not supposed to be involved in the FBI,"

Trump said.

"I'm not supposed to be doing the kinds of things I would love to be doing and I'm

very frustrated by it."

Trump indicated that he wanted the Justice Department to investigate the Clintons.

"I look at what's going on with the Justice Department, well, why aren't they going

after Hillary Clinton with her emails and dossier?" he asked.

"It's very discouraging to me.

To be honest, I'm very unhappy about it."

Trump signaled frustration with Attorney General Jeff Sessions for failing to target the Clintons.

One of Trump's major selling points on the campaign trail was how he always insisted

Hillary would be investigated and charged for her crimes against America.

It's time we get to the bottom of it and charge Hillary, Obama, and the whole gang

for the treasonous snakes that they all are.

The American people are sick and tired of being promised that Hillary and Obama will

pay for their crimes only to be disappointed time and time again.
