Hello Everyone. In Today's video I will show you how you can prepare a NORTH Indian Veg Thali at home

You can follow the same menu if you have some guest coming over, have a festival at home or some pooja

Whenever you are preparing food on a larger scale its very important to do some prepreparations. so here are some that i did.

Here I have boiled Tuar Dal, Chopped pumpkin, lady's finger, onions, tomatoes, green chillies, prepared yogurt for Raita, salad done, cut paneer pieces , cilantro chopped for garnishing

So I will start by preparing the dough first for Pooris. I am making Methi Pooris today. Here I have 1.5 cup of wheat flour . To it I have added 1/2 cup chickpea flour , some fennel seed powder, turmeric, salt, red chilli powder, 1 ttbsp oil + finely chopped fenugreek leaves

Now make a dough by adding just little warm water

Keep it aside for 20 minutes. Lets prepare the curries

So in a wok i have taken some mustard oil, to it add bay leaf, red chillu, curry leaves, fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds, as they crackle add pumpkin.

Then add turmeric , red chilly and salt. let it cook for 10-15 minutes

after 15 minutes add dry mango powder and jaggery

let it cook until its soft for about 15 minutes.

Now lets make ladys finger. In a wok i have taken 2 tsp mustard oil, to it i am adding carrom seeds and asafoetida. let it crackle . add onions and green chillies and fry a little

add lady's finger, some salt and turmeric and always cook on low to medium flame.

Now add all the spices turmeric, red chilli powder, cumin powder, corainder powder and let it cook for 15-20 minutes until soft

Now I will prepare dal fry. So in a pan I will take some clarified butter + some oil. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida, . as soon it crackles add oinion , fry for sometime , then add tomatoes.

Add all the spices now . Turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilly powder, salt and cook it for 5 minutes. after that add boiled dal/ lentil. if you feel the consistency is thick add warm water. garnish with fresh cilantro leaves

So here you can see my ladys finger and pumpkin is also ready

So here I am making Raita. so this is yogurt . to it i am adding black salt, paprika and cumin powder. add boondi. and in the last give tadka. for it take some ghee , add cumin seeds and asafoetida. when it crackles add to raita

I am not showing how to make Matar paneer as I already have a video on it. I have put the link in description box

Here I am preparing dessert. I have taken some seviyan and will roast them in ghee. On the other stove I am boiling some milk.

Transfer them in boiled milk and keep cooking them for 15-20 minutes... add some ilaichi 9

cardamom)powder and almonds. in the end add jaggery

In the end I will be making some fenugreek pooris as shown
