Per usual, I'm practicing

at my practice studio.

Can you guess what I am currently practicing, aren't you curious?

I've been practicing for the new cover dance that I'm gonna upload on this channel,

but this time around, not only I'm gonna cover the dance,

but practice singing too, so I can show both at the same time.

Britney Spears~!!

There are tons of famous numbers by Britney Spears, such as

baby one more time

Oops I Did It Again

These two songs brought one of the fastest album sales

as a solo artist

the gross was immense, apparently.

Isn't that amazing?

I was in my early teens back then

I really liked Britney Spears since I was a little girl,

and even looking at her videos now, there are lots that I could learn from her.

To witness her powerful dance moves on stage,

while singing live

I am awed by such scene.

That inspired me and I'd like to challenge myself to do the same.

Can you guys guess which song?

It's not the previous two songs I mentioned,

but it's the one that came after her "school girl" phase,

but the one when came back with sexier image.

"Toxic"

was one of the songs of that era.

I bet you guys have heard this song, it's very popular.

This one is a world-wide hit.

So this time around,

I'm going to practice "Toxic" and show it to you guys.

This time around, I'm not going to cover the dance that was made by other artists,

but going to cover the dance moves done by Britney Spears herself.

Of course, there will be a bit of difference in my rendition,

such as adding a couple moves I'd like to have in the song,

I'm going to "sori-fy" the dance and show it to you guys.

I wonder if I would be able to

capture the greatness of the original song

by adding stuff of my own, I'm not sure.

But, I'd consider this a practice of my own,

and hope you guys enjoy.

but I am going through a "pain period" in this creative process.

If you see the live footage of

"TOXIC" at the time,

It has a very "jazzy" vibe to it

Lots of songs at the time was heavily influenced by jazz.

Come to think of it, 10 years ago,

I asked my mom to take me to dance lessons for the first time,

the studio as a matter of fact was a jazz dance academy.

I remember going to that jazz dance studio for a year with my friend.

So, it seems that jazz dance was a thing back then.

But the trend has changed nowadays, so I'm gonna put some different elements,

and show it to you guys.

I'll show you how much I have practiced so far.

I have to come up with something here.

What should I do?

So,

I'm gonna show you a bit of rundown

of what I've been doing, and what I should do in future.

This will be a loose structure.
