The Ronin-S is DJI's new single-grip stabiliser for DSLR and compact system cameras.
It's designed to help videographers, YouTubers and filmmakers of all levels capture smooth
video pans, tracking shots and dollies on the move.
You can also use it for moving time-lapse and panning videos, or multi-frame panoramic
photos when stood on its own integrated tripod.
The standard tripod mount means the Ronin-S's 3-axis gimbal can accommodate almost all system
cameras up to a weight of 3.6kg.
It features built-in controls, allowing the user to pull focus and stop/start recording
on a handful of compatible cameras.
Its accessory mounts support optional add-ons such as microphones, LED lights and external
monitors too.
A companion mobile app also lets you adjust performance and motion speed, creating up

Holding down the button, meanwhile, engages a fast-reacting Sport Mode.
With its strong motors and DJI's always-impressive stabilisation algorithm, the Ronin-S does

The exact speed with which the gimbal shifts the camera depends on your personal settings
(input via the app), but suffice to say you can wave it around to an almost comical degree
and still end up with stable, smooth footage.
In general use, the Ronin-S will move the camera to follow the movements of the gimbal:
point it up, left, right or down and the camera will follow smoothly, allowing you to follow
and track subjects.
You can increase its sensitivity and speed instantly by holding the M button and engaging
Sport Mode.
Alternatively, holding down the trigger at the front keeps the camera pointed in its
current direction, no matter where the gimbal moves.
Tapping it twice re-centres the camera, and tapping three times flips it round towards
the user (aka "selfie mode").
A thumb joystick on the back of the handle can be used to make manual camera moves, if
more precision is required.
You can hold the gimbal in three main ways: normal, flashlight and underslung.
This provides for superb flexibility; it's easy to hold it high, at waist level or very
low to the ground.
The relatively small size increases that further by allowing you to get it into positions two-handed
gimbals couldn't manage.
We mounted a Panasonic GH5S for the purposes of this review – and, right now, this camera
and the original GH5 are the most closely compatible with the Ronin-S.

This video came from an idea I had enhance a game that Tyrant120 played with these two PWADs.
I decided to make this modification in Ketchup to match Hokuto Shinken, Kenshiro's martial art
style. RiboZurai helped me with this.
This map's soundtrack is a MIDI version of "Semari Kuru Kiba", composed by Nozomi Aoki, who has
a long list of jobs on his resume. This version was made by Stephan "Selfdestructboy" Hauschildt
and is part of Hokuto no Doom's excellent BGM.
To play Hokuto on Doom with the Ketchup Gore Mod, or any other mods, you will have to
load its IWAD as a PWAD and using Doom, The Ultimate Doom or Freedoom's phase 1 IWAD.
Since this game was developed over the Doom shareware, most advanced ports prevent
it from being used with other mods.
I should have collected the tech analogous to the chainsaw earlier. I had to look for the rest of the
monsters to show it in action, and it took a while. I had already forgotten where I'd been. Therefore, I
had to cut the video a bit to avoid it getting boring to watch.
I don't like melee too much in Doom, but mixing it with some forms of attacks or adjusting the gameplay
to create something DemonSteele-style, Hokuto no Doom would be perfect.
For those who like Kokuto no Ken, the manga, but especially the anime, would dig Kokuto no Doom a lot.

you can have a VW GTi
which might be the most fun
of the 3 VW GTi's
because the recipe
goes back to the roots
very simple setup
no driving modes
no variable dampers
just a good chassis
a good engine
1.0L
with a turbo
115 HP
200Nm
it's fuel efficient
it weighs less than 1000 kg
970 kg
it sounds fun
because it's a 3 cilinder
you get that irregular sound
which is amplified
with sort of a pitch fork
going into the interior
very smart little things
which ensure that driving experience
is what this car is about
it is an entry level GTi
so there are things you can't do
which you can in the big brothers
Golf GTi and Polo GTi
like switch off ESP
which is a pity
because when you drive at upwards of 70%
the ESP system gets flustered
and starts intervening
but the suspension does so as well
this is still a very comfortable car
like every GTi
and above 70% attack mode
the chassis is just not at ease
it still means that this car
is a lot of fun
for people who are looking for
something exciting
with a whiff of fun
which the VW range can really use
you can compare this to
an entry level Polo price wise
I would know what I'd get
that GTi drivetrain with 6 speed manual
instead of 5 speed
and the added torque
mean that it's more grownup
and a better Up! too
So it's more fun
and it's a better car
than a regular Up!
so worth the extra investment
it's only a couple grand
you get so much in return
like the exterior look
it looks like a real GTi
with those dark accents
it's lowered, has 17" wheels as standard
equipment wise it's at a high level
in here too
with the GTi tartan
heated seats
Beats audio system
smartphone integration
with cool dials using the VW Up! app
and it's just a fun, practical little car
it's excitable
even at higher speeds
150 kmh on highways is still comfortable
you'd be surprised
what this little 1.0L engine can do
it's a really flexible engine
and I can imagine
this Up! GTi being a revelation
after market parts wise
imagine chiptuning it
get a nice exhaust on here
to emphasise that 3 cilinder sound
there are a lot of possiblities
so much fun stuff
and it's just a bargain
such a low price
looking at the running costs
considering this is a VW GTi
depreciation will be low
and residual value high
so you can drive a GTi cheap!

Samsung is said to announce Fortnite Android with the launch of Galaxy Note 9.
Samsung Unpacked 2018 event is scheduled for August 9 where the company is set to unveil
the Galaxy Note 9.
Traditionally, the rumours and speculations grow thick just ahead of the launch of the
smartphone and Samsung's next flagship is no exception.
Rumours are rife that the Galaxy Note 9 will pack a 4000mAh – the biggest one found in
the S series so far.
A new report further claims that Samsung is partnering Epic Games to introduce Fortnite
for Android on Galaxy Note 9.
A report by XDA Developers, citing a trusted source, says that Samsung will be looking
to entice the customers to buy the Galaxy Note 9 by announcing the debut of Fortnite
on the Android platform.
Fortnite has been available for iOS and it's high time that its Android counterpart launched.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be the first Android phone to support Fortnite, however, it is
not clear whether Fortnite for Android will stay exclusive on the Galaxy Note 9, at least
for the initial days.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9, as the report points out, will come bundled with free V-Bucks,
free skins for Fortnite.
V-Bucks can be used to unlock skins, dances, or gliders in Fortnite, in addition to buying
battle passes in the game.
If we keep the Fortnite freebies aside, the Galaxy Note 9 has been previously reported
to come bundled with a free wireless charger, Gear IconX earbuds, and Gear S3 smartwatch
that will be launched at the same event.
However, this may largely depend on what colour variant you would be buying.
Samsung is also reportedly looking to advertise the Galaxy Note 9 as a gaming phone, which
makes the vapour chamber heat pipe for cooling a USP of the smartphone.
The vapour chamber will ensure the phone doesn't heat while playing intensive games.
The smartphone is already said to pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC in the US and China and
Exynos 9810 SoC in the countries outside these countries, so the gaming experience is likely
to be at par.
