20 MINUTES WORTH OF, YOU KNOW, A SERMON

AND YOU SING A COUPLE OF SONGS OUT A BOOK AND MAYBE YOU,

YOU KNOW, DO SOME DIFFERENT RELIGIOUS THINGS THAT YOU DO ON

SUNDAY MORNING.

AND THEN YOU GO HOME AND YOU DON'T THINK ABOUT GOD THE WHOLE

REST OF THE WEEK.

THAT'S NOT WHAT THE BIBLE'S TALKING ABOUT WHEN IT SAYS THAT

WE CAN KNOW HIM.

WE NEED TO KNOW HIM.

I'M ALWAYS DOING CONFERENCES AND SEMINARS AND SO I HAVE TO STAY

PRETTY AHEAD ON WHAT I'M TEACHING, ESPECIALLY IN

MY THINKING.

AND SO EVEN WHILE I WAS PREPARING FOR THIS ONE, I WAS

LAYING OUT SOME THINGS THAT I WANTED TO USE FOR MY NEXT ONE,

WHICH WILL BE IN COLORADO SPRINGS

IN A COUPLE WEEKS.

AND SO I FELT PRETTY SURE ABOUT THREE OF THE MESSAGES AND I HAD

SOME MATERIAL LAID OUT FOR THREE OF THOSE, BUT I WASN'T REAL SURE

WHAT I WANTED TO DO ON THE FOURTH ONE AND SO I PRAYED ABOUT

IT FOR A MOMENT AND I FELT THAT GOD JUST PUT ON MY HEART WORRY,

JUST TO PREACH ON WORRY AND ANXIETY.

AND THEN I WAS GETTING READY TO LEAVE MY OFFICE AND I DIDN'T

HAVE A LOT OF TIME.

AND I THOUGHT, "WELL, GOD, I KNOW I'VE GOT MATERIAL ON THAT,

BUT I DON'T REALLY HAVE TIME TO GET IN THERE AND LOOK FOR IT.

AND I WALKED IN THIS LITTLE FILE ROOM WHERE I KEEP A LOT OF MY

MESSAGES AND MATERIAL FROM THE PAST AND THERE WERE

TWO SYLLABUSES LIKE THESE.

WE PUT THESE TOGETHER FROM MY TEACHINGS.

THERE WERE TWO OF THEM LAYING ON TOP OF MY FILE CABINET AND FOR

SOME REASON, I WAS DRAWN TO GO THERE.

I MOVED THE FIRST ONE, THE SECOND ONE SAID, "WORRY,

ANXIETY, DISTRESS, AND CARE."

AS LONG AS I'VE BEEN WALKING WITH GOD, LITTLE THINGS LIKE

THAT ACTUALLY THRILL ME SOMETIMES MORE THAN A GREAT,

BIG THING.

AND I'M TELLING YOU, THIS KIND OF DOING LIFE WITH GOD IS

AVAILABLE TO EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU IF YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO

RECOGNIZE GOD WHEN HE'S WORKING IN YOUR LIFE AND STOP SAYING

THAT THINGS ARE COINCIDENCE OR LUCK.

AND UNDERSTANDING THE WONDERS OF HIS PERSON MORE STRONGLY

AND MORE CLEARLY]."

AND I'M GONNA STOP THERE BECAUSE THEN HE GOES INTO TALKING ABOUT

THE POWER THAT FLOWS OUT FROM HIS RESURRECTION.

BUT I JUST WANT YOU TO SEE THAT THE APOSTLE PAUL, WHO HAD

ALREADY WRITTEN A LARGE PART OF THE NEW TESTAMENT, IS STILL

A MAN OF GOD THAT'S PRAYING TO KNOW GOD.

SO WE NEED TO DO THAT ON A REGULAR BASIS.

"GOD, I WANT TO KNOW YOU AND I WANT TO KNOW YOU MORE DEEPLY."

I BELIEVE THE GREAT MEN AND WOMEN OF GOD THAT WE READ ABOUT

IN THE BIBLE, I THINK THEY ALL DID THAT.

I THINK MOSES WANTED TO KNOW GOD.

I THINK ABRAHAM WANTED TO KNOW GOD.

I BELIEVE ESTHER AND RUTH, AND ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE WE READ

ABOUT, WANTED TO KNOW GOD.

DON'T BE SATISFIED WITH A LITTLE BIT OF HEAD KNOWLEDGE, CRY OUT

TO KNOW GOD.

WHEN YOU KNOW HIM INTIMATELY, AND PERSONALLY, AND YOU BEGIN TO

RECOGNIZE WHEN GOD IS WORKING IN YOUR LIFE AND YOU CAN SENSE HIS

PRESENCE AND YOU KNOW THAT YOU KNOW THAT YOU KNOW THAT YOU KNOW

THAT HE'S ALIVE AND THAT HE'S WORKING IN YOUR LIFE WHETHER YOU

FEEL HIM OR WHETHER YOU DON'T, YOU'RE NOT GONNA NEED ALL KINDS

OF HELP FROM OUTSIDE BECAUSE YOU'RE GONNA HAVE THE HELP THAT

YOU NEED LIVING ON THE INSIDE OF YOU AND YOU'RE GONNA KNOW IT.

HE DIDN'T SAY, "I'M PRAYING THAT YOUR PROBLEM WILL GO AWAY."

HE DIDN'T SAY, "I'M PRAYING THAT YOU'LL GET EVERYTHING YOU WANT."

HE SAID, "I'M PRAYING THAT YOU WILL HAVE INTIMATE KNOWLEDGE

OF HIM."

EVERYTHING THAT WE WILL EVER NEED IS ALL WRAPPED UP IN HIM

AND WHEN WE HAVE HIM, WE HAVE ALL THAT WE NEED.

JOYCE: NOW, ONE OF THE FIRST NAMES THAT WE HEAR ABOUT IN

THE BIBLE IS YAHWEH AND THESE NAMES, AS I SAID, ARE ALL USED

IN THE OLD TESTAMENT.

THEY'RE NOT USED IN THE NEW, BUT I THINK THAT'S JUST EXCITING

BECAUSE ONCE WE GET TO THE NEW TESTAMENT

AFTER JESUS DIED AND ROSE FROM THE DEAD AND GAVE US

HIS NAME, THEN EVERYTHING ELSE THAT WE LEARNED THIS WEEKEND

WORKING UP TO SATURDAY WHEN WE FINALLY GET TO THE NAME OF

JESUS, EVERYTHING ELSE IS IN THAT NAME.

SO WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENS, HOW HARD DOES HELL SHAKE WHEN

SOMEBODY WHO REALLY, REALLY KNOWS WHAT IT MEANS TO SPEAK

THE NAME OF JESUS?

HOW HARD DOES HELL SHAKE WHEN YOU GET UP IN THE MORNING

AND YOU LIFT UP YOUR HANDS AND YOU SAY, "JESUS"?

JOYCE: AND I HOPE THIS IS A REFRESHER COURSE IN MAKING GOOD

USE OF THE NAME OF JESUS, SPEAKING HIS NAME, REALIZING

WHAT YOU'RE DOING WHEN YOU'RE PRAYING IN HIS NAME, CALLING ON

HIS NAME BECAUSE HIS NAME REPRESENTS HIM.

NOW YAHWEH AT ONE POINT COULD NOT EVEN BE PRONOUNCED BECAUSE

IT HAD NO VOWELS IN IT.

IT WAS JUST Y-H-W-H AND ACTUALLY THE ISRAELITES DID THAT ON

PURPOSE BECAUSE THEY SO REVERED GOD THAT THEY WERE AFRAID TO

SPEAK HIS NAME.

NOW, I DON'T WANT TO ENCOURAGE ANYBODY TO BE AFRAID OF GOD, BUT

THE BIBLE SAYS THAT WE SHOULD HAVE REVERENTIAL FEAR AND AWE,

AND I PERSONALLY THINK WE NEED MORE OF THAT IN THE CHURCH

TODAY.

JOYCE: AND SOME OF YOU REALLY DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT

I MEAN BY THAT BECAUSE YOU'VE GROWN UP IN THIS WHOLE CASUAL

WELL, YEAH, HE IS.

GOD IS OUR FRIEND AND WE CAN BE COMFORTABLE WITH HIM BUT HE'S

ALSO TO BE REVERENCED, TO BE FEARED, TO BE WORSHIPED,

TO BE OBEYED.

HAVE A MEANING, THEY ALL DESCRIBE SOMETHING OF

THE CHARACTER OF GOD THAT BELONGS TO YOU AS A BELIEVER IN

JESUS CHRIST.

THIS IS A VERY PRACTICAL MESSAGE BECAUSE EVERY--YOU'RE GONNA SEE

THROUGH THIS WHO GOD IS AND WHO HE IS TO YOU, NOT JUST WHO HE IS

TO SOMEBODY ELSE, BUT THIS IS A FAITH-BUILDING SEMINAR

THIS WEEKEND.

YOUR FAITH IN GOD IS GONNA SKYROCKET AND THAT MEANS YOU'RE

GONNA GET RID OF A LOT OF YOUR FEARS, AND A LOT OF YOUR

WORRIES, AND A LOT OF YOUR CONCERNS, AND A LOT OF

THE THINGS THAT TORMENT YOU DAY IN AND DAY OUT.

WHO IN THE WORLD ARE YOU WHEN THE ONLY WAY THAT YOU CAN

DESCRIBE YOURSELF IS I AM?

AND WHEN MOSES WAS ASKED TO GO BEFORE PHARAOH AND HE WAS A

LITTLE BIT AFRAID AND HE SAID IN EXODUS 3:14, "WHEN I GO BEFORE

PHARAOH AND HE ASKS ME WHO SENT YOU, WHO SHALL I SAY THAT YOU

ARE?" AND LET'S LOOK AT WHAT

EXODUS 3:14 SAYS.

WE'RE GONNA TAKE TIME THIS WEEKEND TO LOOK AT SCRIPTURE SO

IF YOU DON'T WANT TO STUDY, YOU'RE IN THE WRONG PLACE.

"AND GOD SAID TO MOSES, I AM WHO I AM AND WHAT I AM, AND I WILL

BE WHAT I WILL BE; AND HE SAID, YOU SHALL SAY THIS TO THE

ISRAELITES: I AM HAS SENT ME."

SO I GUESS THAT'S ALL I'VE GOT TO SAY TONIGHT.

I AM SENT ME HERE, AND HE IS WHAT HE IS, AND HE WILL BE WHAT

HE WILL BE, AND HE WILL DO WHAT HE WILL DO, AND IT'S NONE OF

ANYBODY'S BUSINESS AND NOBODY CAN STOP HIM.

AND WHEN HE IS, IF WE KNOW WHO HE IS, THEN FEARS DISSIPATE

AND PROBLEMS CRUMBLE LIKE GRAINS OF SAND ON THE SEA.

SOME PEOPLE SPEND THEIR WHOLE LIFE REJECTING GOD AND SAYING

THINGS ABOUT HIM THAT DON'T EVEN MAKE ANY SENSE.

I REMEMBER MY OWN FATHER, AND THANK GOD THAT HE WAS MERCIFUL

TO HIM, BUT MY OWN FATHER WOULD--HE WAS ALWAYS MAKING FUN

OF ANYBODY THAT HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH GOD.

AND HE JUST THOUGHT HE KNEW SO MUCH AND REALLY HE DIDN'T KNOW

ANYTHING.

AND, OF COURSE, HE WAS JUST LIVING LIKE THE DEVIL, AND

MISTREATING PEOPLE, AND ABUSING ME, AND MISTREATING MY MOTHER,

AND WAS ANYTHING OTHER THAN A REAL MAN.

AND HE WOULD SAY, "WELL, I'LL GET SAVED SOME DAY WHEN I'M

BLANKETY BLANK GOOD AND READY," YOU KNOW AS IF HE COULD JUST

CALL THE SHOTS AND HAVE GOD SHOW UP TO SAVE HIM WHENEVER

HE WANTED TO.

AND, YOU KNOW, THE BIBLE SAYS--NOW I WANT YOU TO LISTEN

TO ME.

THE BIBLE SAYS THE SPIRIT OF GOD DOES NOT ALWAYS STRIVE WITH MEN.

AND SO AND I'M NOT SAYING THAT, YOU KNOW, YOU CAN'T BE SAVED AT

ANY TIME, BUT I AM SAYING THAT WHEN GOD IS DEALING WITH YOU,

YOU DON'T WANT TO PUT THAT OFF UNTIL ANOTHER TIME JUST IN CASE

MAYBE YOUR TIME COMES TO BE OUT OF HERE BEFORE YOU DECIDE THAT

IT'S YOUR TIME TO GIVE YOUR LIFE TO GOD.

I BELIEVE WHEN GOD DEALS WITH US, WE NEED TO REALIZE THAT HE

MEANS BUSINESS AND GOD'S ALREADY DEALING WITH PEOPLE IN HERE

TONIGHT.

THERE'S ALREADY PEOPLE THAT YOU KNOW SITTING IN YOUR SEAT THAT

YOU ARE NOT AS SERIOUS IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AS YOU

SHOULD BE.

MAYBE SOMEBODY BROUGHT YOU HERE TONIGHT AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN

REALLY KNOW WHY YOU WERE COMING, AND GOD WANTS TO TURN YOUR LIFE

Good morning everyone, my name is Marsha Johnson

and i am currently attending Scott Medical and Healthcare College, doing health and social care at level 3

I would love to be a part of the health care team in the future and I believe

that Scott College has provided me with the opportunities to make my dream

become reality. Scott College is the first of its kind

in this area. We have different health care professionals coming into the

school to share with us their careers experiences and how they impact on

society. I love listening to them because each story is so different and is

inspiring to hear about how they have impacted on other people's lives

moving on I have had multiple work experiences, that have taught me how to best care

the people, whilst adding to my character. but why healthcare for me?

well my parents have probably been the biggest influence in my life because

they both work in hospitals, we grew up in the care environments that were

exposed to. We would go and pick up my mum from work and be in contact with

consultants, surgeons and other healthcare workers who had

tell us about their days and how the hospital just couldn't run without my parents so

in my little head I thought 'Wow if only I could be like my parents

someday'. And i got thinking 'yeah I want to be a theatre nurse' and i thought

'Marsha do you really want to be a theatre nurse' so i got thinking again

and realised that I would love to know why humans work the way they do,

why do we automatically understand language, why do we feel empathy and why do some of us

not feel empathy. That's what I wanted to find out. So at 13 I decided I wanted

to be a neurosurgeon and that I would be the first to do a full brain

transplant whilst preserving a person's personality. I know that is relatively

impossible in this day and age. Now I'm older and I've had my own surgery and

felt how it has improved my lifestyle, how comfortable I am now. I would like to

provide that same feeling to others so that they are happier than themselves

and could possibly live a longer and fulfilled life. Why would I like to be

hear you ask? Well I would like to be a surgeon, but still I'm still not sure

what type of surgery yet, because there are so many different

I decided surgery because all of the surgical interventions that I've seen

have changed the person's life tremendously.

Yo what's up guys I'm Alvin from Crown Watch Blog and I'm Melissa

Today we're gonna do the $500 watch challenge at Watch Wonderland

Let's see what we can find!

So what's the $500 watch challenge?

Well basically Alvin and I will each pick out a mechanical watch that costs less than $500

That's right and to do so we are at Watch Wonderland, an independent

multi-label watch boutique at Suntec City and it's here where we'll pick out our

favourite top value-for-money watches

If you like mechanical watches and you're on a budget you will not want to miss this

Right, now that we've made our choices, why don't you go first, Mel?

Okay so here's my pick

This is the Queen watch from Mr. Jones Watches

It's actually half of a pair of royal watches

so there's the King version for men as well

But first a little bit about the brand

Mr. Jones Watches was founded by British watch designer Crispin Jones

who felt that people don't really look at their watches for the time anymore

So instead of the watch being just a functional object

he decided to have a little bit more fun with it

All the watches he produces are quirky, fun and

original just like the Queen watch here

Now how do you tell the time on this watch

when there actually are no hands on the dial?

The hours are read by the number in the heart while the minutes are seen through the playing cards

So Ace represents zero, 10 is 10 past, two is 20 past and so on

The watch runs on a Seagull movement, the ST1721

which Jones also uses in a couple of his other watches

I love how unconventional this watch is and how

it's a great couple watch as well

So a really great statement watch at a fantastic price of $398

What's not to love right?

The watch that I picked out today is the Ventus Mori Diver 300M

Ventus is a Singapore-born brand that started about three years ago with Kickstarter funding

The brand is famous for making pilot's watches that are

affordable, well-made and they come with a very strong military vibe

Sometimes they even feature cases that are made in

special materials like brass as well as carbon fibre

But today the watch that I picked out isn't a pilot's watch, it's a divers watch

And it's called the Mori Diver 300M

Features-wise the watch comes in a 41mm case in gunmetal steel

It's water-resistant to 300m and on the inside you'll find the NH95 Seiko automatic movement

It's an entry-level Seiko automatic movement that a lot of other watch brands use

What I really like about this watch is its strong 1950s military vibe and its

no-nonsense functionality and I also like the way that the gunmetal finish and colour

contrast with the beige hands and indexes

I'm a fan of clean and simple designs and this one does it very well

with a bit of a retro vibe thrown in as well

And at $499, this one just about makes the $500 watch challenge

Ok, so I tried advancing videos

so I wouldn't miss a week.

If I wasn't able to make one

or I didn't have time for it. But I needed to use all the ones I prepared.

Anyway, it was obvious that I would've run out of stock little by little

So, it was pretty obvious that, in the end

I'd need to stop

and consider more options.

So, I wanted to say something about this, because, hmm...

Don't worry if I miss one week

And, because I DO want to upload a video per week

But it's not going to be all dances

Because the dances... not all of them, but

I need some time for them

And there are things that I can do

that are less time consuming.

Ok, so that's it. I got a job. I won't be able to prepare as much videos as before

I made a script so I wouldn't beat around the bush

and I wouldn't forget anything

But it's happening anyway...

There won't be as much dance covers

but there will still be.

The dance cover content won't be less than 50% (or so I'll try)

Why? Because I want to.

I'll build gunpla... I have a lot of them to build yet

I am so so super excited and I cannot thank you guys enough for subscribing to my channel

It means so much to me as a stay-at-home. Mom of four little boys, and I have stayed home for gosh

I don't even know how many years now like nine years

This is super super great for me to have something for myself

that I get to just be creative with and to call my own so I

So appreciate everybody's support. I'm so happy and I just cannot wait to see what else the future has in store

That being said this video today. I'm just gonna be doing it clean with me in my bedroom and

After my clean with me, I'm just going to be doing a mini makeover

so I'm just gonna be adding a few things to my bedroom just to spruce it up a little bit because sometimes

if you haven't done something to your room in a while I can get kind of boring and

Just having a few little pieces can just cheer it right up. So that's what I'm gonna do today

I'm gonna get started with the cleaning. And then right after that I will do the mini makeover. Let's get started

I am going to get started by tackling this laundry now

This laundry is actually all clean laundry that I had piled in my room just because I had not had a chance to get all

the piles put away

So I actually did not sort these yet

Into individual piles like per person. So that's what I'm gonna do right now. I'm just gonna sort it

like I'll do my hubby stuff and my oldest boy stuff and

So on and then I'll just bring those piles into their bedrooms for them to put away

Everything's gonna be gone

Yes, I know my laundry looks like I haven't done it in years, but it is actually because we were away for two weeks

so the laundry found piled up on us and

Now, I've got it all caught up on but I just have to get it put away

It'll feel really good to get this all put away and out of my room

It was really hot outside and I actually had the windows open to get that fresh air flowing through

Because it wasn't hot in the morning

so I changed out of my jogging pants and put on a pair of shorts if it looks like I have a little bit of

So when I wear it down if it's warm outside, it gets really uncomfortable

I just like to tie it back and get it out of the way, especially if I'm doing something active

Really love my glass lamps

The only thing about them is they do get dusty quickly because they are

Clear so you can kind of see where the dust lands but they actually clean up really really easily

I just take a damp cloth and wipe them down and they look great again

Here is my homemade fabric refresher

Concoction. This is just actually water with some liquid downy that I've mixed up into an old

Method bottle. I actually really loved it. It was cheap and it smells super fresh

So if you want to give your sheets a nice little refresher in between washings

Just give it a light misting and it will smell like it just came out of the dryer

Here is one of the new home decor items I bought for my bedroom to spruce it up a little bit

It's a wicker laundry basket. I think it just looks a lot prettier than the plastic Rubbermaid one that I had there before

It looks like a nice piece of home decor. I

Also just added a pretty little floral arrangement onto the night table just to freshen up the room a little bit

It always is nice to have some fresh looking flowers in the room

These flowers are not fresh, but they sure do look like it

The next thing I did was recruit my hubby to hang this mirror that I have had since we moved into this house

But I did have it. Just leaning on the wall in the master bathroom before

But now that I have my vanity there's already two mirrors in the master bathroom

I thought it would be nice to take this full-length mirror and

Put it in the bedroom that way when we are heading out the door

We can just kind of stop and take a look at ourselves in the mirror before walking out the door

Next up I'm just going to hang this custom map that I designed myself of Lake Superior. I just adore Lake Superior

And I just absolutely love the way this looks in this spot

So, I think my room is looking good so far

I've only added a few pieces and it already looks so much better and it's a nice fresh little update

I am in the market for a new TV cover and then there what it down to two

The TV personality showed off her new bob hairstyle after making an appearance at the inaugural "If Only" Texas hold'em charity poker tournament benefiting City of Hope with younger sister Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and the family matriarch, Kris Jenner

Sporting a tight fitting vest top and high-slung PVC trousers, Kim, 37, also took the opportunity to show off her notably slimmer figure as she made an entrance at Inglewood venue The Forum

With a plunging front Kim's black top fully exposed her cleavage, while her skinny-fit trousers drew further attention to her weight loss

The socialite added to her look with a pair of clear plastic stiletto heels, and their blue tint gave the overall look an added splash of colour

The mother-of-three previously revealed on social media that she now weighs a mere '119 pounds

' Joining her sister, Khloé was no less engaging in a skintight bodysuit that accentuated her post-pregnancy physique

The 34-year old, who gave birth to first child True little more than four-months ago, added to her look with a pair of distinctive thigh-high boots

Meanwhile Kendall, 22, opted for a comparatively demure polka-dot dress as she joined her family members at the event

The supermodel was previously heard telling Kim she was starving herself because she's "so skinny

" Taking to her Instagram Story earlier that night, Kim was heard asking her sister: 'Wait, what was that Kendall?' To which Kendall replied: 'I'm really concerned, I don't think you're eating
