Running Vines Winery — 3 Interesting Things | Indiana Dunes - Duration: 2:59.

- Hey everybody, Dame Grant here.

We are here at Running Vines Winery.

A wonderful winery in downtown Chesterton.

And we're gonna turn around,

right behind me,

and find out what are the three most interesting things

that makes this place stand out.

(exciting music)

Now, our first most interesting thing

is the fitness collection here at the Winery.

Can you tell us more about that?

- Yes, we have two different collections

here at Running Vines.

We have our fit collection.

These are gonna be your low sugar wines.

Those are the people worrying about that sugar residual

and our wines and what we are drinking, right?

- [Dame] Okay.

- The race collection is all more of the sweeter wines,

are a little bit fruitier a little bit more fun.

So the first thing you're going to do

is you're gonna check for

the clarity of your wine.

As you'll see this pinot gris pretty clear.

And then the next thing you want to do,

is you want to give it a good swirl.

Some people like to look for what they call legs,

on the glass.

And it's really just showing you the velocity of the wine.

Smell, nose first.

- Okay, nose first.

- A couple times.

And once with my mouth open

and really draw all the flavors across.

- And now?

- Now sip and enjoy.

- I like this a lot.

I feel its like a very strong apple juice.

- [Nicki] That's actually notable flavor to a pinot gris

is going to be apples.

- Boom.

- [Nicki] And pears and apricots.

- You know, wine tasting in general

becomes more definitely of an experience.

And you know, you kind of start to feel a little cultured.

So, we're here to learn about our second

most interesting thing which is the name Running Vines.

Where did that come from?

- When my cousin and I were starting the winery,

we actually found the location,

we were opening a winery.

We did not have a name yet.

Walt really wanted the name Vines

included in the winery's name,

and I really wanted to incorporate our love of running

into the winery.

It actually came to me while I was grocery shopping one day.

Running Vines.

I was thinking about running and my son's cross country meet

the next day.

I texted it to Walt,

expecting him to not like it

and he loved it.

And within 24 hours we had trademarked the name.

- And our third most interesting thing

Nicki's gonna tell us about

is what you do for the community.

- So, we do a lot of giftbags for local

different events.

- Oh fun.

- Pretty much anybody that asks from CHS Athletics,

we will support here in Chesterton.

So, the one that we're probably the most intertwined with

would be Chesterton High School boys cross country.

- Okay.

- So, we donate to their team every year making sure that

we can help fund their cross country camp and

- Yeah. different things with that.

Helping them get new uniforms.

Whatever it is they need.

- This has been a great experience here at Running Vines.

We learned a lot about everything from the give back

to origins of the winery,

to enjoying the wine tasting experience.

So, I wanna thank Nicki

and everybody else here at Running Vines.

- When I think about my own upbringing,

there was always somebody there for me.

When I felt like I could be that for somebody else,

I wanted to.

iMentor is a opportunity to have a commitment with

one student at a moment in their lives where they probably

need the help and advice the most.

- I met Rema in my 9th grade year of high school,

and I'm still working with Rema in my rising

sophomore year into college.

I started to think about college when my older sister

was accepted into CUNY school, here in New York.

My parents, they both came to America,

so they didn't go to school here.

It was hard as a first-generation college student.

My sister was my only outlet into what

college might look like for me,

so I didn't really know what private schools had to offer,

or what Ivy Leagues had to offer.

- It was a lot of, "well maybe this one's not quite right,

or maybe I won't get in or maybe.." and I'm just like,

but why not try?

- Rema helped me see that I could apply to other

schools, and that's how I found my dream school, Barnard.

- From 14 through graduation and into college,

you end up building this relationship.

The more we did together, the more we talked,

the more time we spent together, the stronger it became.

- When I started college, I didn't expect it to be

so hard and so stressful.

If it wasn't for iMentor and if it wasn't for Rema,

I wouldn't have this emotional support that I couldn't get

from my parents or my sister because of the different

aspects of what my college experience brought me.

- I just can't imagine not having her in my life.

I wanted to, not only see this through,

but I wanna see, like, whatever the future's gonna bring.

- Graduating from college is important to my family because

I had a lot of doubt when I was coming into college,

so hopefully, me graduating will help them see that

I'm doing this to help support them in the long run,

and that the information that I learned,

and the skills that I gained during college,

is what I can use to help the larger world.

DEVILED EGGS | how to make the best deviled eggs recipe (paleo, keto, whole30) - Duration: 4:01.

- Hey guys, and welcome back.

The holidays are fast approaching and during the holidays

we're always in the need of some healthy snack

and appetizer recipes.

Because let's be honest,

most holiday nibbles are anything but healthy.

Now I definitely don't have anything against splurges

but when you have the option to eat a healthy snack

versus a sugary snack, I think that's always a win.

So today I'm gonna show you how to make my easy

and delicious deviled eggs.

Now this is a classic deviled eggs recipe

and I think still the best version of deviled eggs.

But over on my website

I will give you a few different flavor variations.

Depending on the time of year you're making this recipe

or if you're making it for a specific holiday like Easter,

you can have fun with a variety of different flavors.

All right, let me show you how to make 'em.

To get started, fill a pot with hot water

and bring it to a boil.

I'm using a medium size pot today

as I'll be cooking six eggs.

But you could use a larger pot and cook more eggs to easily

double or triple this recipe for a large gathering.

I've shown you how to make both hard boiled eggs

and soft boiled eggs before.

So if you'd like a step by step tutorial for perfectly

boiled eggs of all different consistencies,

make sure to watch that video.

But for today's hard boiled eggs,

once your water is boiling, reduce the heat to low

so that there are no longer bubbles forming.

Then use a skimmer to gently transfer your eggs to the pot

and set a timer for 14 minutes.

While the eggs are cooking,

prepare an ice water bath and set that aside.

The ice water bath immediately stops the eggs from cooking

and helps to prevent that green tinge you can get

around the yolk from overcooked eggs.

After your 14 minutes is up,

use your skimmer to remove the hard boiled eggs

to the ice water bath and let them fully cool.

Peel your hard boiled eggs,

give them a rinse and slice them in half.

Then use a spoon to remove the egg yolk to a bowl

and place the egg white on a serving tray.

(upbeat music)

When it comes to removing the yolk,

I have a little trick that makes it super easy.

And that's to use two of your fingers to pull back

on the top and bottom of the egg.

When you do this the egg yolk almost pops out on its own.

But you can still use a small spoon for some added help.

(upbeat music)

Once all your egg yolks are in a bowl,

use a fork to break them apart until they're crumbly

and resemble coarse sand.

Then add three tablespoons of mayonnaise

and I'm using my homemade mayo recipe.

One teaspoon of Dijon mustard.

And I do recommend Dijon mustard

rather than yellow mustard for more flavor.

One teaspoon of apple cider vinegar

and some salt and pepper.

Then use a large fork or spoon to stir everything together

until it's nice and creamy.

(upbeat music)

To transfer the yolk mixture back into the egg whites,

you can use a small spoon or you can use a piping bag

if you'd like a more ornate looking deviled egg.

I personally like the more rustic look of the yolk mixture

just dolloped back in but it's completely up to you.

Then to make these truly deviled eggs,

we need a little spice.

So grab your paprika and sprinkle a little bit on each egg.

Lucky Roo's Devil Fruit Power - One Piece Chapter 920+ - Duration: 5:53.

Lucky Roo was introduced in chapter one, he is part of Shanks's crew.

He is the first person in One Piece that we saw kill someone.

For someone that is that big in size, he sure moves fast.

What is his secret?

I think he was able to do that due to his devil fruit power.

I think his devil fruit power is Time.

There are a couple of devil fruits in One Piece that are crazy powerful and Lucky Roo

has one of those.

So, he can manipulate time and space.

And this is how he did manage to get right next to that person in an instant and kill

him without any trouble.

When he shot him, Lucky Roo was not even looking at him, so this was not because he is fast

but he just appeared there like it is nothing.

The other thing that did happen that was unusual was how Shanks and his crew came to MarineFord.

The marines there were very surprised when they saw Shanks and his ship in MarineFord.

Because he was fighting Kaido in the New World.

By the way a while ago I did post a video where I did talk about what did happen between

Shanks and Kaido.

The link is in the description.

Anyway, so, the reason why I think Shanks and his crew did manage to go to MarineFord

is due to Lucky Roo's devil fruit power.

The Grand Line is very big, to travel from Dressrosa to Zou it took the Straw Hats one

week, and Whole Cake Island and Wano are even farther.

If Shanks and a couple of strong people of his crew would come to MarineFord, then it

is possible that they did manage to come because they are so strong that they can move very

fast or maybe even fly.

But the entire crew was there together with the ship.

And there were not any signs of travel on them, it is not that they did look tired or

anything like that.

So, due to Lucky Roo's power to manipulate time and space, they got to MarineFord from

the New World.

This is a crazy powerful devil fruit but everything has its limits.

Every writer as soon as they come up with something powerful the second thing that they

do is trying to limit that power or come up with weaknesses.

Otherwise, you will have massive problems with the story going forward.

One of the limitations I think are you can use this ability to jump in time only once

in 24 hours.

Where you go I don't think it is limited.

Since they did move from the New World to MarineFord.

But I do think you can use as much as you want to make small jumps, like a couple of

seconds or minutes and this is very useful during the fights.

But using this ability it takes a huge toll on the body.

But more importantly, I don't think someone who has died can be brought back to life.

You can go back in time and change the events but the death will still happen.

Shanks and his crew did change how the war in MarineFord did end but I don't think

it is possible to save someone from dying once they did die.

Even if they would arrive early I think Ace and Whitebeard they would still die but in

a different way.

But I do think that there is a way to save people who did die by going back in time but

the price is too high.

The user of the devil fruit will die if he will save someone who did die.

So, life for a life.

Now, let's analyze Shanks's crew and what they did in MarineFord.

When Shanks said to Sengoku that this war is over and I will take the corpses of the

dead pirates.

Sengoku did agree, and on the surface, it did look like Sengoku is being respectful

to Shanks.

But people like Sengoku who are at the top they only respect one thing and that is power.

So, Sengoku only did respect the power of Shanks and his crew and nothing more.

Because after all, Shanks was not asking or begging them, before he said that he said

to everyone there who wants to fight, he did challenge everyone there.

So, if Sengoku would have said no, do you think Shanks would have said: Oh, okay".

I will go home now.

Sengoku's answer was very interesting, he said I agree because it is you Akagami!

Why did he say that?

We saw in the recent chapters that even the Gorosei did something similar.

They said we only did agree to meet because it is you.

Is it due to Shanks and his crew being the strongest crew in the world?

No, I don't think so.

Because if that was the case then why he has the same title as Kaido, Big Mom and Blackbeard.

The difference I think is about what they are capable off, I don't think there is

anyone out there that can hurt the World Government and other strong organizations more than Shanks

and his crew.

The other Yonkos, they do seem one dimensional and they rely too much on just physical power,

and they want to be at the top for the sake of it.

But with Shanks is different because he knows the true history of the world and its secrets,

he was with Roger in Raftel.

So, this is one of the differences between Shanks and the other Yonkos or other strong

people in the world.

But let's just analyze the standoff between Shanks and his crew and Marines in MarineFord.

Who did Sengoku have in front of him?

Shanks, one of the strongest people in the One Piece World.

Benn Beckman one of the smartest people in the One Piece World.

Do you think those tactics that Sengoku did use against the Whitebeard Pirates and especial

trying to convince them that Whitebeard has sold them out.

Would work against a crew that Benn Beckman is part of?

Considering that Benn Beckman is one of the smartest people in the world, I am sure he

can come up with tactics and strategies that the marines will not know what hit them until

it is too late.

Now if Lucky Roo can do the things that I did mention in this video.

And I am sure that other crew members are just as great as these three.

Then do you see why Sengoku did not want to go to war against Shanks and his crew?

Because against them have more people or more weapons it is not going to cut it.

The Time Disney Brought the Main Street Electrical Parade to New York City - Duration: 6:25.

The Main Street Electrical Parade is without a doubt a classic staple of the Disney parks.

Many fans from all walks of life have fond memories of seeing those iconic floats roll

by in Disneyland, Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, and…

Manhattan?

That's right.

In the summer of 1997, for one special night, the Main Street Electrical Parade made its

way down 42nd street in New York City.

Just three years earlier, Disney released The Lion King, and it was a box office titan.

Flying past expectations, the film would end up grossing over 300 million dollars

domestically, and with CEO Michael Eisner focused on keeping the company in a state

of growth, the film became the new bar for future animated films to aspire towards.

Unfortunately the following film, Pocahontas, would only gross 140 million

dollars domestically, and the film after that, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, would barely

break the 100 million mark.

It was clear that the momentum that was the Disney Renaissance of the early 1990s was

running out of steam.

So in 1997, with hopes of creating another box office hit, Disney doubled down on the

marketing campaign for their next film, Hercules.

Disney ended up licensing Hercules to 85 companies, resulting in over 7,000 Hercules branded items

to cross promote the film.

However the real spectacle was in it's New York City premier.

Why New York?

Well if Disney loved one thing back then, it was synergy, and it just so happened that

beyond a new animated film, Disney was getting ready to promote their first steps into the

world of Broadway.

As a part of the 42nd Street revitalization effort, Disney had signed a 49 year lease

on the New Amsterdam Theater and restored it, with a price tag of 34 million dollars.

They had run a limited engagement of King David, but the real big premiere of the theater

was going to be a stage adaptation of that earlier box office titan, The Lion King.

So in an effort to both promote Hercules as well as to raise awareness of the theater,

it was chosen as the location for the film's big opening.

The weekend would involve free events hosted at Chelsea Piers for families, and a limited

event at the theater called "The Hercules Summer Spectacular" which included a screening

of the film along with two short bonus shows.

The real crowd magnet though would be The Hercules Electrical Parade.

"Talk about a party.

No question, Disney knows how to throw one and get New York City to march in right step.

Midtown was virtually shut down tonight for this Herculean event."

The original Main Street Electrical Parade had just finished it's 24 year run at Disneyland

that previous fall.

The floats were refurbished, with over 100,000 lights reportedly being replaced, and a new

Hercules themed float was built and added to the front of the lineup.

Disney claimed that the one night only event would mark a "last farewell" for the classic

parade, and it was a farewell that would require months of planning and a whole lot of money.

Disney paid the city of New York a reported $500,000 to run the parade.

Helping out, the city had potholes filled along the proposed route, which ran across

42nd street from 7th avenue to 5th avenue, before turning up 5th avenue and running to

66th street.

That made for a parade route over four times the length of the original Disneyland parade!

The city hired a pair of electricians who would work on a total of 130 street lamps

Turning them off before the parade arrived to an area and then turning them back on as the parade left.

Lastly, they'd end up assigning 2,000 NYPD officers to the parade route for the event,

which was about normal for a parade in the city at that time.

In order to provide the proper soundtrack for the parade, Disney had over 300 speakers

installed along the route.

But that wasn't the end of Disney's planning.

As early as that February, Disney began to reach out to over five thousand local businesses

along the 1.6 mile path to ask them to temporarily turn off their lights for the festivities.

Most of the businesses were on board with the idea and found it to be fun.

There was some resistance by owners of the famous Times Square billboards who felt it

went against their best interests.

One of the presidents of one of the companies who owned said billboards, Tama Starr, was

quoted saying "People will be taking snapshots home with them.

We want the billboards in that landscape."

With all of the planning and build up, Disney expected a turnout of nearly two million people

for the parade, however the city offered up a more realistic estimate of several hundred

thousand and perhaps up to one million.

The MTA would run extra trains to and from midtown to accommodate the crowds, whatever

size they'd end up being.

All in the all the parade was a hit, and Variety would later report that nearly one million

people ended up attending the event.

The whole thing was filmed by Disney and later added to a one hour television special called

"Hercules Strikes Manhattan".

Unfortunately for as much as the parade was a hit, Hercules was not.

While it did OK critically, it not only failed to achieve the heights that The Lion King

reached years before, but it didn't even manage to achieve the box office disappointments

that followed.

Coming in at $99.1 million, Hercules didn't even hit the coveted 100 million dollar mark.

It would take far more than amped up marketing to recapture the success of the Disney Renaissance,

but that's another story for another video.

As for the parade, it ultimately wouldn't be the farewell that Disney hoped it would

be because the Main Street Electrical Parade would make a return to not only Walt Disney

World but to Disneyland as well.

And while the parade will forever be associated with the two parks, as it should be, there

will always be that one night that it was a New York City parade.

Hello everyone. It's Lou's screen shot tutorial. Today I'm going to

present seven successful and free programs

to make your videos. We will start with a capture software

screen, video capture. You know for sure since this is

from the program vlc which is a player originally but

with which you can achieve catches for tutorials or filming

your video games. So it's a free program, I'm you

would of course put all the links of download for all

software presented in the description and you have a tutorial available on vlc

And then hand them off to the universities. And our success rate is higher than anyone.

We can't teach all of them in one particular way

because they all are coming from different backgrounds.

We have to develop a way to reach every single one and keep them on board.

The fact that you had so many programs that were highly ranked

tells me that you had dynamic faculty members -

people who cared just like I did about students.

What are we doing to get out to those students

and hold their hands and bring them in, and get them qualified

and then take them to where they need to be? I was one of those students!

What I want to be is a good listener, understanding the community

and what the community needs is going to be of utmost importance.

A Democrat Senator from New Jersey echoed the latest leftist talking point about Supreme

Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in a press conference on Tuesday.

According to Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), Kavanaugh's innocence or guilt relating to the vicious

allegations of sexual misconduct levied against him is unimportant.

"So my hope is that beyond the vicious partisan rancor that is going on, beyond the accusation,

we don't lose sight of what this moral moment is about in this country, and ultimately ask

ourselves the question – Is this the right person to sit on the highest court in the

land for a lifetime appointment?"

This new spin has been the Democrats plan ever since Christine Blasey Ford's testimony

in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee Thursday.

Her story is simply not credible enough to move the needle far enough for the Senate

to vote Kavanaugh down.

After all, there is no evidence or corroborating witnesses.

So instead, leftists are turning towards Kavanaugh's rhetoric during his fiery rebuttal to Ford's

testimony to claim that his temperament is unbecoming of a Supreme Court Justice.

Democrats purposefully smeared a good man's name and destroyed his reputation forever,

and now they are blaming him for being upset about it.

It is a truly despicable display.

"[Kavanaugh's] temperament has been revealed in an emotional moment where he used language

that frankly shocked a lot of us," Booker said.

"And then ultimately, not whether he's innocent or guilty – this is not a trial

– but ultimately, have enough questions been raised that we should not move on to

another candidate?"

Of course, "moving on to another candidate" is Democrat code for delaying the vote on

a new Supreme Court Justice until after the November midterms in hopes of winning a majority

in the Senate, which would allow them to block any nomination made by President Donald J.

Trump for the foreseeable future.

Especially when you have like a big blob of 30-40 Nuwa Cannons supported by Sentinels, Battle Tortoises with few Blizzard Tanks - plus lots of factories to produce them

When you are lucky to capture a Machine Shop together with a veterancy building it's even better, veteran Nuwa Cannons with faster repair, yes please

During this mission we have to destroy the all Robot Control Centers, together with all Allied buildings - the map is quite big and it can be easy to forget about one building on map

You can head the Technician to one of these Robot Control Centers and capture some Allied War Factories when you are lucky, additional help from Hailstorms is much appreciated

Try to capture as many tech buildings as possible, especially the Oil Derricks - there are plenty of them on the map, great thing to help with your income in this mission

The Allies also have their own EMP in this mission, a Blackout - it disables temporarily all of the buildings in some radius, the building responsible for this is located in northwest corner of map
