Kyle Korver Helps Utah Jazz to Victory during His Debut | Heavy.com
The Cleveland Cavaliers have officially started their fire sale in the NBA.
After losing LeBron James over the summer to the beautiful weather out in Los Angeles, things turned gloomy once again over in Cleveland.
Just like that, without LeBron, the Cavaliers went from championship contenders to the bottom feeders of the Eastern Conference.
Therefore, tanking time was initiated, and the Cavs moved their experienced shooter, Kyle Korver.
It's quite evident that Cleveland was eventually going to start moving some of their older veterans for some future assets.
While Korver has been on the trade block for pretty much the entire 2018 offseason into now, it was shocking to find out that the Cavs were going to send Korver to the Utah Jazz.
Although the Jazz have a young rising star in Donovan Mitchell, who can do it all, it was clear that a veteran presence/sharpshooter could help the team out big time.
Korver is obviously no longer in his prime.
But the 37-year-old shooter has 15 years of NBA experience under his belt and knows what it takes to win a championship in today's game.
The Jazz understands that they weren't getting a starting player out of Korver, but his off-the-bench efforts allowed the Jazz to take over and defeat the Charlotte Hornets 119-111 on Friday night during the veteran's debut with the team.

Korver played a total of 22 minutes on Friday night, and tallied 14 points, along with two rebounds.
He flashed some of that beyond-the-arc shooting action as he buried four of his six attempted three-pointers.
His performance was nothing over the top, but definitely not a bad showing for an early-season debut for the veteran.
The Jazz aren't going to be looking for a whole lot out of Korver, but he played his role perfectly on Friday.
Before being traded, Korver played 16 games with the Cavaliers.
During that time, he averaged 6.8 points-per-game during 15.7 minutes-per-game.
Utah expanded his playing time a bit during his debut, but it ended up paying off big time, as the Jazz took down the Hornets to advance their record to 11-12 on the year.

The Philadelphia 76ers are surely hitting their stride early on in the season this year.
It's not hard to tell who/what the difference maker is this time around.
Veteran experience on the court not only brings a much-better skillset to the game when it matters most, but it also brings solid leadership as well.
That's what the Sixers were hoping for when they traded for Jimmy Butler, and they are definitely getting it right now.
Ever since the trade for Butler, the team morale has been high.
Everybody assumed that the Sixers big man Joel Embiid would get along with anybody just fine, but nobody really knows what to expect with the other Sixers young star, Ben Simmons.
Fortunately, the presence of Butler has not only lifted Simmons' production, but it has played a vital part in making the Sixers entertaining once again in 2018.
On Friday night, the Sixers hosted the Washington Wizards at the Wells Fargo Center, where the team got to rock their all gray city jersey's once again.
Except for this time around, Ben Simmons and Jimmy Butler decided to collaborate and match with their uniforms by throwing on headbands for the first time this season.
It was different, and quite frankly, hilarious in some type of way.
Despite making everybody laugh, Simmons and Butler ended up having one solid outing, as well as the Sixers whole team, who destroyed the Wizards 123-98.

Headbands aren't as fashionable in today's game as they used to be.
Nowadays, NBA players like to rock the sleeves as an accesory, rather than a headband – but Simmons and Butler decided to throw it back along with their jersey's on Friday.
Who's idea was it to wear the headbands? Nobody knows.
According to Jimmy Butler, it was Simmons' idea.
But it sounded like Butler might've had a lot more influence than he wants to say with the idea after he stated that "headbands are in right now.".
Regardless of who came up with the idea, everybody was all about it.
Even the Sixers head coach Brett Brown was acting like a massive fan of the two on Friday during his postgame press conference.
It's public knowledge that Brett Brown is very close to his team, but could anybody expect a head coach to get this giddy over a headband-matching game between the two stars on the team?.

Brett Brown couldn't hold back from smiling on Friday for two reasons.
One being the fact that the Sixers took care of business at home, advancing their season record to 16-8.
And two, his team is just clicking on a whole other level and having fun while doing so.
The headband idea may be a one-time thing, but Brett Brown is clearly on board with how entertaining it was during Friday nights game.
With the way the Sixers have been clicking, it's going to be difficult for anybody to knock them off of their high horse.
We'll see just how strong this team chemistry is over the next four games though.
Sure, the Sixers can take down the Wizards at home, but now they hit a rough stretch with games against the Memphis Grizzlies, Toronto Raptors, and back-to-back matchups against the Detroit Pistons.

I arrived in Japan on Thursday. When i was spacing out the day,
Suddenly one image was drawn in my head
I told this to my friend, too
It was the image that i defeated the captain in grand final and won the tournament
It suddenly struck and told him
But we said it will be still fine to go grand final
and it's just ridiculous. But,
We were in grand final
It was so sad that the prediction couldn't reach to the end

CBM : Your next determination of upcoming tournament, the final in December
LowHigh : Next tournament...? Well, I don't know
I felt like i spent all of my good luck in Japan
Or i feel i still have good luck

Ameba : It was so joyful and helpful
I met lots of people and visited lots of places
and so happy to conclude the tournament well which i looked forward to
CBM : The tournament was... also amusing

Ameba : Uh... Hmm,, I was burrowed at the beginning (spoke in inappropriate way)

Anyway, I'm satisfied because i made quite big impacts while i was burrowed
Also made some awesome moments
CBM : Your plans, it is sad that actually, there is no more arcade industry in Korea
Will you play harder? (Ameba was a passionate arcade version player)
Ameba : Yes i'll just leave the arcade version and
I'll play Steam version harder by trying other characters
I'll try some other ways to play
For example, covering some bad habits
I learned lots of things in Japan
CBM : Do you have any plans on attending the tournament in next February (EVO JAPAN)
Ameba : I still don't know but
If i have a chance, probably i'll go and travel
