hi everybody I'm Paula and I am going to be drawing your OCs today but before

I start I want to make sure that you join my heart amino it is paula blox

art and it's up on amino and also please put in your OC and you'll get a chance

to get drawn you can see in the description how to do that so just

hashtag Paula blocks and that way when I search I'll see you but the first one

that I'm gonna do today this is actually one of the seven deadly sins it is made

by nugget on amino and this one is called story or story I'm not sure how

to pronounce it but this person this girl has a lot of anger apparently this

is what Nugget says about his Oh see a summary of her backstory is that she was

bullied as a kid and she did nothing about it consuming

all her anger until one day she snapped and beat all the bullies three were

injured five four at the hospital and two were killed oh my goodness yeah I

guess she was pretty angry eventually she started acting like that to almost

everyone until when she was about to beat someone

else her head started turning into bread her hair was red and when she looked

fine her hair stayed red and has special wrathful abilities oh that's weird

wow that is me so that's quite a backstory and I wasn't exactly sure how

to draw her they did so good with their OC oh my gosh because they have like

fire coming out of the eyes and as you guys know I have just recently started

drawing again so I'm learning as I go I've been drawing traditionally and then

I call her it digitally in paint tool Sai and I'm trying to learn that my

daughter has been helping me learn some you know little techniques and things

like that and she uses paint tool size so you

that really helps but she's flying pings so make sure you go to her channel

because she is an amazing artist oh my goodness

she has been drawing for so long wait I I've thought of a way to turn this into

talking about my kids again what what am I even doing so anyway I was thinking I

was looking at the oh C's up there and I am going to link in the description so

make sure you go visit and look at all of Nuggets OCS because these are so cool

I could not decide which one to do because they were all really amazing

they really were but I thought this was really cool and I got me thinking what

makes you angry do you ever get angry had anything I mean I'm sure you do I

think everybody gets angry right I mean I do I have gotten angry before I mean

who hasn't right but what is your pet peeve everybody has one right I mean the

thing that really gets you that people do I know I have pet peeves I really do

because sometimes something will just trigger me a negative attitude that

really bothers me you know when you're talking about something and everybody's

really negative about it I like that that's why sometimes I don't like to

watch TV shows that are too negative you know like news shows and stuff like that

I don't know I'm just everybody's different but I just I can't go with too

much negativity it just drives me absolutely crazy because I like to be

positive about things because you know aren't you a lot happier when you're

positive I am learning how the high light eyes and sometimes I just have

trouble with it I'm not sure why but anyway you have to let me know how do

you highlight eyes like with the pudding like yellow or white things like that

but sometimes I have trouble knowing which color goes with what do you ever

do that I guess I was just playing around trying different things and I

tried to make it look like fire was coming off the ice that wasn't exactly

working out too good okay the person who drew the OC nugget did so good with the

fire it looked like real fire okay so I was a little in

I'm like okay I'm gonna draw this Oh see and they did so good at it and it's

gonna look so much worse when I do it but you know hey that's part of the

learning process right you just got to do what you can so there is the Oh see I

mean she looks a little angry you know which or sad okay maybe it's not too

much angry but anyway let's go to the next one the next one is actually from

deviantART and I thought this OC was really really pretty make sure that you

check the description because I am going to link to it but this was from Rosie

Miku and deviantART and this is what she says about her OC she says her name is

euphoria but she has a dark past that she doesn't like to talk about so okay

well hey she's got a dark past and she doesn't want to talk about it so I don't

know what'll happen to her but I think she is really really pretty and actually

you know here I go that got me thinking of something - okay dark paths do you

like any scary movies I know on my community on YouTube I put up a pole do

you like scary moves I don't know why I was also thinking about that the other

night I kind of like scary movies but I don't like to get too scared cuz I

actually get scared of the dark sometimes and that's not very cool but

anyway if you like scary movies you got a comment below and let me know what

your favorite scary movie is because I have seen so many scary movies and

sometimes I wish I had it but it got me thinking there is this movie cut

darkness falls I don't know if you've ever seen it I think it was like 2002

2003 as when it came out so it's one of the older movies but it scared me I mean

it was really scary and I know some of my kids watched it too but it's about

the tooth fairy and she was not very nice okay I mean seriously that tooth

fairy was just so scared some of these movies it's like who came

up with these okay it's just it's terrifying but anyway you have to let me

know if you like scary movies but while I was doing this OC I thought it was so

neat because she had so many callers and pretty things going on and it was a lot

for me to try to learn how to do hair with the hombres and everything with the

different colors but I had my best okay so you know give me a break don't expect

too much but I had a lot of fun trying to do this one she had something going

on with the shirt like galaxy and I thought that was just so so pretty I

mean I really like galaxy designs and things like that but I really don't know

how to do them how do you do galaxy I mean I just kind of did well I kind of

looked at what the person who drew the OC did you know where they did different

colors and then they had sparkles or something on it and I tried to do that

but I'm not sure it actually came off right so you'll have to let me know

after but seriously though let me know how you do galaxy how do you figure out

what it should look like or is it always different I know some of you even do

like shines and the eyes that almost look like galaxies and I think that is

so cool I'd really like that design I'm not sure

when galaxy became like a thing for clothes and everything but I think it's

really really pretty it just is so I had a lot of fun shadiness and the

characters with the ears and the tails and everything I just think they're so

adorable don't you I'm not sure what what are they really called I mean

they're not really furries right I mean aren't furries like furry everywhere I

don't even know what a furry oh gosh here I go talking about stuff I don't

know about again but what do you call these I mean if they just have ears and

a tail or are they just wearing an ear and tail see I don't even know looks

like a fantasy animal slash person maybe I don't know but I think they're

so adorable I really do but make sure that you go to my amino and enter the

contest that's up there too because we have a contest going on right now that's

a winner imagination contest I'd really like to see what you guys do and I'm

going to judge it based on imagination instead of like your art ability so I

felt that way anybody can join you know just come up with something and go ahead

and post it but that would be fun and again it is Paula blocks art but you can

see with the shading and this I know I'm like all over the place what I had some

trouble like trying to figure out the hair but I don't know I you'll have to

look at the thing at the very end and you know tell me does it look okay I

mean look at that it's hey she got shaded okay yeah make sure that you post

hey I'm Matthew welcome to car count hackers we're all about growing your car

count income and profits so that you can change the lifestyle of everyone you

care about so I asked you about 17 cent marketing plan you're ready to get

started well you're probably sitting there looking at me saying maybe I lost

it well I'm gonna tell you something I haven't lost it

before I tell you that let me ask you a couple of questions what if I showed you

a way that you become your customers "guy" you know when there's any sort of

problem just call my "guy" want to be that secondly if this program gets you more

return customers like more car count it costs you like 17 cents he's still

interested thirdly this programs gonna make you stand out in the crowd you're

going to stand out from the new car dealer the big box repair store national

chains mobile repair guys and even your competitor down the street I promise

number four this is targeted like no waste I'm telling you to invest

seventeen cents and a postage stamp and there's no waste involved isn't that

incredible and on top of that you're gonna build and confirm your list let's

jump right into it what am I talking about I'm talking about a simple

thank-you card a simple thank-you card I know what you're thinking you're

probably saying something like I got one of those it looks like a little

billboard it's got a little thank-you in the corner it's got your shop name of

that and every other thing that you sell whether it's a timing belt or alignment

or any other service that's not what I'm talking about I'm talking about a plain

simple thank-you card and the best part about this is you can start this today

like you don't need anything you don't have to be techy you don't have to be

good at anything you can start this today what as long as you got seventeen

cents in a postage stamp there's only a few rules and I go to give them to you

right now rule number one is no advertising this is a simple thank-you

card every one of your customers has some more special in their home where

they put you know anniversary cards birthday cards any of those events and

thank-you cards you want your card to hit that shelf

rule number two it must be hand-addressed and it must be

handwritten but you're only doing a few of these a day so it's not like I'm

telling you to write out a list of a thousand names you're only doing a few a

day but it must be handwritten if you can't handwrite it if you don't like

your handwriting or you're a little messy like I am get someone in your

office to do these for you and you sign them rule number three there's got to be

a live stamp what's a live staff it means none of

these post office insignias or anything like that it's got to be a real live

stamp because you're trying to make a personal connection if you want this

thank-you card to be a real success it's all in what you say in the thank-you

card I'll tell you what to say so grab a pen and then I'll tell you why it's

important right after that start it with the person's first name and write

something simple like this thank you for the trust you placed in us to repair

your car I really appreciate it why that wording was pretty simple we know that

according to the latest triple-a report tota through customers don't trust you

I know it sucks but they don't trust you so you want to inject that in that card

thank you for trusting us and don't just say thanks let's tell them I really

appreciate it be a little emphatic on that it's only a couple of lines doesn't

take long to do and even if someone else writes it out for you

you be sure that you sign it yourself and the best part is at the end of the

week you haven't spent much money at all in fact look every morning I spend more

than that on coffee before you get out of bed so don't squawk about the amount

of money this costs and if you want to really win in this understand this

simple little trick nobody else is gonna tell you this that simple thank you card

that small envelope thank you card is going to dominate your customers mailbox

why first of all understand that they receive between zero and three of those

small invitation thank-you card sized pieces of mail a year so how do you

stand out and when the customer stack their mail that little piece of mail

goes right on top guarantee you you're gonna have a 100

percent open rate on that mail and better than that every repair shop that

I've got to get started with this by the way below in the description there's

some links to some great cards that I've used with clients but customers come

back to them and say thank you for that thank you card I got it I really

appreciate it and above that they say hey you know what

I got you thank you card and I forgot about this other car that I've got it's

got this squeak it's got this rattle we need to book that in that's what forges

the relationship and makes you the guy the real frustrating part of this is

this is so simple to do all you need is a pen a postage stamp

and a pulse that's it you can get this started immediately you're verifying

your customers mailing address you're starting to forge that relationship

you're giving them a reason why they want to pick up the phone and call you

back and you become their guy in the marketplace that's how you develop

relationships in order to secure your part in the marketplace and virtually

eliminate all the big-box stores new car dealers competitors down the street and

even the mobile repair guys aren't i right doesn't it make sense go ahead and

testing autopilot in the fog for the first time in fact it actually looks

surprisingly clearer on camera than it doesn't roll by the naked eye you'll be

able to tell as we pass these cars and in fact I just drove down this road

before the fog rolled in in the dark and auto pilot actually had some problems

and had a lot of disappearing lane lane markers however with in the fog for some

reason it seems to be doing a better job in fact i have not had to steer or touch

the steering wheel at all in about i'd say 15 minutes and you can see how foggy

it is just by seeing the other cars headlights i mean it's it's pretty foggy

now and looks like I finally have to take over there is a roundabout and

while I did train the car to do roundabouts at low speeds extremely low

speeds I'm talking about the minimum of 18 it's not reliable I'm not going to

risk it

take over once again bring her back up to 55

and it's scanning for lines it's having trouble requiring the lines

is it a little more faded over here there we go autopilot engaged

I got one hand with the wheel just to be on the safe side but

fog is clearing up a bit those rather impressive how the autopilot handled the

that since the fog is kind of drowning out all surrounding objects pretty much

kind of like think of it like masking other object object surround now since

it's a road paint is stands out considerably more i'm estimating that

it's able to differentiate between the other objects then and the lines better

because of that and the card is deciding to follow the right lane which is

actually a turning lane let's see if it home and what you know it moves right

back over not bad not bad at all 35 mile an hour

speed little slow down again

in fact the car is actually picking up the speed limit signs before I even see

him now and look what the paint on those speed limit signs is very reflective and

we had some wandering there so I took over this kind of weather is and that's

something that you mess around in 25 mile an hour speed limit and there is an

officer up ahead so okay see if we can lock onto the car in front of us a car

sees it auto pilot sees the vehicle in front of us it's not giving me the

option to lock on and it knows there's lines there but it's having trouble now

locking onto those off the brake manually no because there's a stoplight

net cars turning either way very impressive with the the fog how it

managed to take over and maintain those lines actually extremely impressive

and it was pretty thick fog and surprisingly also my camera was able to

cut through the fog better than then I could see with the naked eye well I have

glasses on but better than I could see with my regular eyes okay that squad

cars really reflecting cars have a little trouble now and that's it i'm

going to put the phone down no smile cheese

The Best Controllers for Smash Ultimate Nintendo Switch - Duration: 13:30.

What's going on boys and girls what's up where all the Austin John plays here and

today we're going to be reviewing a whole bunch of controllers for the

Nintendo switch and Super Smash Brothers ultimate I figured hey why should I

split this up in a whole bunch of different videos when I could just in

one video go over every single controller and that'd be great I'm gonna

be splitting this up into three different categories one is going to be

controllers that are similar to the pro controller for the switch one that's

similar to the GameCube controllers for the switch and one that's not similar to

either of the previous two first let's talk about the Nintendo switch pro

controller the actual official default Nintendo one this one I've actually got

to play with this for several hours for smash ultimate when I participate at the

e3 competitive event as well as some casual time with it the pro controller

has this very strange feel if you're used to using the Wii U pro controller

for smash Wii U then it's going to be great however if you're used to the very

traditional GameCube controller feel switching to the pro controller or

especially the joi cons may be a little difficult

although the button layout is somewhat similar in location having the very

large a button and then all of the other buttons that you would need to hit being

the Y button or the B button or flicking down to the smash stick maybe a little

bit more of a travel than you're used to because of the equal button layout it's

a strange switch going from no pun intended going from the GameCube

controller to a pro controller so I'm gonna review the pro controllers very

briefly also all the prices are gonna be in US dollars and there's links to

everything down below the pro controller from Nintendo is $70 it's a fantastic

controller I can't say anything bad about it it just may not be your

preference for smash ultimate jumping down just slightly in price but highly

customizable is the power a wireless controllers now there is a series of

wireless controllers and wired controllers there's only a few slight

differences the wireless controllers use double-a batteries not rigged

chargeable lithium-ion batteries as you can see back here however there's also

two programmable buttons on the back so if you wanted you could program this to

jump or you can program this to smash down or whatever you want for that so

there are some advantages to this the wired controller actually has a little

bit less travel than the wireless controller does let's get a zoom in of

that as you can see right there the joystick is significantly larger on the

wired controller than it is on the wireless controller meaning that you're

not gonna be able to do as precise movements that easily bundle that with

the fact that the wireless controller already has somewhat of a skewed running

scheme from the pro controller you're not gonna be able to do precise

movements however in smash that's not too much of a problem you're pretty much

just gonna be doing things like this so actually the wired controller may be a

great advantage for you because it's just that short little travel right

there in order to get all the way over to assign the direction that you want to

smash or use a special to I just realized that this is the exact same

controller just completely different color that's the weird thing about the

power a controllers whether you buy it at Target Walmart or Amazon or a Game

Stop they're in completely different colors games so these are the exact same

thing I have two controllers that don't fit the traditional GameCube style or

the traditional Nintendo switch pro controller style for very slight reasons

the first is the Hori wired controller now this controller actually has a

removable d-pad that you could put on top of the four directional buttons over

here so it acts a little bit more like a joy con it also has a turbo mode which I

don't think you'd be using that in Smash has a nice little place on the back that

you can store that d-pad if you don't want to use it and then you have access

to the four individual buttons like that as opposed to the power eight

controllers the travel on this is very similar to the actual pro controller so

if you're gonna be playing games like Mario Odyssey they may require you to go

only a short distance then you may prefer this controller over those it's

also worth mentioning that the Hori controller has a little bit more of a

of an old xbox controller feel meaning that your hands are gonna be angled out

more than they would be on a traditional pro controller so if you're someone who

has a wide stature and you want a little bit more of a wide grip and you're

really comfortable with the joi cons but you want something that fits larger

hands the Hori pro controller is probably a good bet for that a company

who reached out to me is called hickories and they sent over this

controller as well as a gamecube controller and this one is very unique

it's a wireless controller however it switches the location of the d-pad and

the joystick so it functions a little bit more in theory like a playstation

controller with your joysticks right there and then you have the same

shoulder buttons actually these shoulder buttons have a lot of travel like a

playstation controller it looks like you can be used for your Nintendo switch or

for your PC that's pretty cool or Android devices alright so they're just

trying to cover everything there the hickories controller also features a

turbo mode and all of the buttons are LEDs that's pretty cool that's pretty

cool you may not want to use this for smash just because you're gonna be

having an off angle control because you're gonna be using this instead of

over here my tiny little girl hands actually have trouble controlling that

joystick a little bit so if you have giant hands maybe it's for you that

brings us on to the Gamecube style controllers and I'm going to be talking

about the one that I've had on display for a while right here which is my

personal Nintendo switch GameCube controller that I got when I was a child

on release day it's filthy something to note about original

GameCube controllers that have gone through years and years of use is that

the joystick is extremely loose so you can see this is just a real real loose

ball right there and the original GameCube controllers that's a very

common thing here is another GameCube controller very loose stick but not

nearly as loose as the previous one so the original GameCube controllers

even though they feel amazing they have that original feel there may be sticky

buttons especially for the shoulder buttons and

the joystick needs a little bit more a little bit more up to get it in a

direction which brings us to the newly released smash GameCube controller now

this guy made by Nintendo is fantastic the buttons feel just as you remember

them your joystick is brand-new of course however the plastic is slightly

different I from holding in and messing around with it on the Wii U and when

your hands get really sweaty and a little oily it starts to get very

slippery I've noticed that which I haven't

noticed with the original plastic I don't know the exact plastic difference

that they used however if you don't have access to an original GameCube

controller with an intact joystick this may be your best bet the people who

provided the led pro controller the company called hickories they also have

a GameCube controller something to note it's very light it's

significantly lighter I don't even need to look up the specs this has no rumble

feature this has no rumble feature inside here it does have a turbo mode

which I don't know how useful that is gonna be for smash the plastic feels

similar to the new plastic on the smash controller as opposed to the original

plastic on the original GameCube controller and the Z button is extremely

clicky I don't know how I feel about that like you hear that that's supposed

to I don't even know if you heard that the actuation point on the buttons is it

as tactile oh no hang on like these have a little bit more of a travel distance

these have less travel distance it's also super noisy now onto the creme de

la creme of controllers this is an original Nintendo GameCube wavebird

controller this is the only wireless controller when I was a child for the

Nintendo switch it does not have any rumble functionality it uses two

double-a batteries on the back however you get an option on which channel you'd

like to program on so you can have essentially six

teen wave birds all operating at the same time it has an on/off button and if

you're lucky enough to find one secondhand you're going to try to find

one that has your joystick not yellowed the yellow where it is the more

indication it is that it's been used really really viciously or just not

taken care of I've managed to find one that's in great condition and my entire

time playing smash I'm gonna be using this wave bird I also reviewed a new

wave bird style controller from a cheap Chinese company can't recommend it don't

buy it if you're gonna go wireless you need to get an original wave bird

and the brand new power a wireless Nintendo switch controller in the

GameCube style this is the power a GameCube controller for the Nintendo

switch this one is very different from the GameCube controllers and the fact

that all of the buttons have a very similar actuation point to the wired

controllers it does not have a rumble feature it is wireless and works on

double-a batteries they've also added a second Z button so

instead of having Z Allen are you still have LR ZL and Zr these are big fat lies

there is no actually there is this does absolutely nothing until you reach at

the very bottom and then once you hit that final that's how you know that

you're activating your shield so it's a very fast travel as opposed to the

analog sticks that have that spring in there until you hit all the way down and

then also unique is that it has buttons on it very similar to the pro controller

so you could take your screenshots activate your home menu things like that

and the best part about this controller is that unlike every single other

GameCube controller that we've talked about that require a GameCube adapter to

plug in this one's bluetooth and just connects to your switch wirelessly

there's even a sync button on top that's how you know that this one is it's its

own Beast really so this one kind of falls between

a GameCube controller and a pro controller which is weird and amazing

I'm not mad at it it's also worth mentioning that for the Powerade

controllers you need to be on firmware 6.0 which doesn't sound like could be a

problem to anyone you don't need to be on 6.2 and yeah you're good to go

so there you have it guys reviewing a whole bunch of Nintendo switch

controllers before smash ultimate so you can use whatever you want I hope this

guy was helpful give you some good ideas as far as what direction you want to go

if you want to go the cheap route if you got some money to blow if you're gifting

this to someone my overall recommendations if you're

buying a switch exclusively for smash and then you're also going to be playing

some other games mainly for smash you need to get your hands on a GameCube

adapter for your Nintendo switch if you can't find the official Nintendo one may

flash makes one and it also has a pc mode which is dope for controllers

plug-in there takes of two USB ports 10 out of 10 recommends the power a switch

GameCube controller is a little pricey it is a wireless controller you don't

need the adapter which is nice but if you have the adapter lying around or if

you plan to have multiple people playing then try to aim for the GameCube

controller if you find an intact original one go for it if not go with

the brand new released smash 1 it functions exactly the same it just feels

different you get some sweaty palms so it's not the worst thing in the world if

you can't find any of those which I'm not too sure why you can go for a

third-party one like the one from hickories if you're able to find the

holy grail of old-school gaming and you're a thirtysomething like I am I'm

30 not a 30-something if you're a

millennial like I am then get yourself a wave bird and all the memories are gonna

come back to you if you want to stick exclusively with pro controllers if you

don't have the money to blow on a Nintendo switch pro controller which I

recommend then you can save a few bucks by going for the power a wireless one

which has your quickfire buttons on the back which is pretty cool or if you

don't have that money at all and you want to go wired

you can go for the power a wired ones or for the holy d-pad one but yeah there we

have a guy's a whole bunch of controllers for the switch by whichever

one you think is right there's gonna be links down below to pretty much all

Before I came to the Acting Center,

I remember wanting to take a class that would

take my acting to a higher level.

Once I dove into it, I realized there was all

these things that I could add to my characters

that I always observed other people doing

but I never quite knew how to arrive at it.

What's really cool about the Acting Center is that

I can create very deep and intricate characters.

I like how much you work in class.

I always leave feeling like I did a lot.

We do drill sometimes where you practice re-directs

or you have to change your emotion on a dime.

I booked a film while in the Acting Center.

So I get to set, I sit down, I say my first lines

and the director goes, "Okay, so, she's not mean."

So it was really cool, because I really had to

just change it on the spot the day of the shoot.

I was able to do it and I was confident,

because I knew that I'd trained for it.

Never Do This When Changing Your Engine Oil - Duration: 2:33.

before I started my youtube channel eleven years ago I used to do a TV gig

yes it was called cranking up here's one of my old shirts don't make fun of the

name, I did that on CBS TV for a couple of decades and people are saying, Scotty

never happened to those old videos you did, well I dug around on my messy garage

and found a bunch of these old video, so here's some old school Scotty,

there are times when two of the same thing really should give you the creeps

like when you're changing your car's oil filter, you don't want to end up with two

gaskets on top of it, you got that right Jack, it's not Jack it's Scotty, you want

to change your car's oil and filter once every 3,000 miles, but due to the

insidious nature of many engineers, they hide the filters in very strange places

as you can barely see, the oil filter on this car is hidden, you can grab it with

your hands so you can take it off, but you can't see where the oil filter

contacts the engine block, so the old gasket might be stuck on now, it's a very

simple thing to check when you take your old oil filter off, make sure the gasket

is still on it, because if it's not, instead of looking like this, it'll look

like this, there won't be a gasket inside and you'll know it's stuck on the other

side of the engine, then when you get your new filter when you screw it on

your engine there's already a gasket on the engine, so you've double gasket it

and it might seal it for a while but eventually the pressure will go and all

the oil will leak out and your engine will blow, now this double gasketing is

a pretty common problem today more than it used to be, because of cheaper

manufacturing processes, as you can see this thing isn't held in very good it

comes out real easy, now they work perfectly fine once they're squeezed in

you only have to worry about them coming off when you remove the filter, so

it's a simple test, when you take the old filter off, make sure the old gasket is

still in there cuz if it isn't pull it off with your hands before you put the

new filter on, now two gaskets on your oil filter can do some scary things to your

engine, may be the only thing scarier than two gaskets on your oil filter is

having two mechanics work on your car this is the Scotty's helping you crank

it up, so if you never want to miss another one

OVERCOME WINTER DEPRESSION AND BEAT THE WINTER BLUES | Video by Psych-Minded - Duration: 5:09.

Welcome back to Psyche-Minded. I'm your host Kalley Marie and today -- just in time

for winter, we're going to be talking about how you can overcome depression in

the winter time. So whether or not you struggle with depression throughout the

whole year or you have episodes of depression that you struggle with -- for

most of us during the winter time, depression is pretty typical. We may

experience disturbances in our sleep patterns or eating patterns. Or we may

feel more lethargic. This is all pretty normal considering the weather and the

time of year. So for this video this is going to apply if you have depression

already or if you just experience bouts in the winter time where you just feel

like you're just not yourself. The formal name of the having winter depression

would be a form of seasonal affective disorders. There's a ton of information

out there right now on the type of seasonal affective disorder that occurs

during the winter time. So today we're gonna address exactly what you can do to

help alleviate some of those symptoms. So try to get as much Sun as possible.

Really take advantage of the days when the Sun is outside even if you're not

like outside exercising, try to just even sit out on your porch for 10 minutes

when the Sun is out. That can be really nice to have a break in the

winter time if you are used to having a lot of snow or a lot of rain or gloomy

weather. When you have those days or those breaks in the day when the Sun

shines through, try to take advantage of those and even on your work breaks or

anything like that try to get outside and even just get some fresh air.

Certainly take advantages of the days when there is a lot of Sun because that

is so helpful for your mood and also to get some extra vitamin D. That brings

me to my next point -- you're going to want to take some extra vitamin D. This is

pretty much the recommendation across the board for anybody in the wintertime.

You'll want to double check with your doctor just to make sure that you don't

have any sort of conflict with taking vitamin D but for the most part we're

all deficient in the wintertime. So taking some sort of supplement, as well

as making sure you're getting plenty of healthy foods with vitamin D can really

help. So this next one goes hand in hand a little bit would try to get more Sun

but even if you're not able to make it outside you should really try to

exercise the great thing about technology is we have YouTube videos we

have videos you can do at home and workouts that are tailored to be able to

be done in a really small space such as a hotel room or a bedroom. So if you're

feeling stuck inside, try to get some endorphins pumping. Try a new workout

video. Even just try some stretching or some light yoga that can really help to

get the blood flowing and help you feel a little more energized. When it's so

gloomy and dark outside, one really popular technique that a lot of people

are trying during the winter to combat winter depression is using light therapy.

I don't know a whole lot about light therapy but the idea is you're using

artificial light to essentially help boost your mood. So a lot of people for

different reasons will get certain kind of light bulbs or specific kind of lamps

that they are able to set in front of them during the day that sort of emulate

the sunlight and are able to give them some of the healthy rays essentially

that will help boost mood. So look into light therapy. If you're interested in

that. I've only done a little bit of research on it and maybe I'll do a video

covering that on the future. So if you want to know more about light therapy

leave me a comment below. I'll do some research on it. If you don't want to

go with light therapy something that I found really helpful is just to have

light in general. So I try to leave a lot of soft lamps on during the winter time

I like to light candles I even put Christmas lights inside. So it kind

of adds to the whole mood and ambiance of the winter time. So it can be

helpful to kind of decorate your house and sort of set the mood and sort of

feel like it's a cozy time of year rather than a dark or a sad time of year.

If you really struggle with winter depression

try to think of some positive distractions or positive activities you

can do during this time to help sort of improve your memory around winter time.

We can sort of feel an anxiety as we go into November and December looms around

and feel as though we're not going to be making good memories or by default we're

just gonna have a bad time like we did last year. So this year I really want

you to think about what's gonna get you out of the house and maybe try something

new such as like ice skating or snowboarding or something seasonal

that maybe you were really looking forward to but haven't tried yet. So look

at some positive memories you can make some positive distractions to sort of

help you move past some of the darker days and have some things to look

forward to. See this time as a reflective period. The beautiful thing

about it is our perspective can change a lot so instead of

seeing it as a dark time or a time where you're inevitably going to be sad or

just have days on end where you're feeling totally unmotivated, try to see

it as a period of hibernation as a period of reflection and a time where

it's okay to experience a sense of calm and a sense of pause. That's

something that I'm going to be focusing on this winter to help alleviate my

depression -- is to not try to be so busy and take a moment to step back and enjoy

the end of the year enjoy the new year to come. So I really encourage you to try

Think it was because I for one woke up at 5.. for two, the weather is just awful outside

Its raining, it just got really dark out. It's gonna like the sun's gonna go down at like 5:30

It'll be completely dark outside by like 5:15 and I hate that that's the worst part about this season

but I cannot stand it when the weather when the sun goes down in the afternoon like

For me five o'clock is still the afternoon. It's like early evening

I just ate a little bit of lunch

Which I showed you watching some Long's while I ate

So I uploaded my footage to my computer and now I need to sort everything because I not only uploaded the footage

That I took today, but I also uploaded a bunch of footage from like a while ago

That's just like a lot of footage and I'm like really I'm a little bit confused as to like where things

Belong so I need to take some time to sort through that. I might not get to editing today

I might just edit a vlog that I wanted to post

I haven't posted yet or finish editing it because I because I'm basically done

I just need to put some finishing touches on to it. Don't know what I'm doing tonight. I don't know if I'm staying here

5:30 in the evening and as predicted is pitch-black outside

I finished editing my vlog uploaded it to be scheduled it for Sunday morning

Yeah, and I'm done working for today. I know it's only 5:30. My brain is just jello right now

So for the rest of the evening, I'm gonna hang out

I will probably have to go out to pick up my boyfriend. So yeah, I'm probably gonna end the vlog here
