and now let´s go to Indonesia, because our video is there
so the video is, THE BEST WAVES IN INDONESIA
and I´ll start with Uluwatu
in the BUKIT area, in Bali Island
This is the most constant wave in Bali
is always pumping
is a perfect left hand wave
it´s entrance is trough a cave
you go down some stairs and start paddling from the cave
this wave is a very long left, with many sessions like
there are many sessions, and depends on the swell breaks one or other, or all of them
it´s a wave that you can do many maneuvers
is not a wave with a big barrel
there is some times a regular barrel
but is more for maneuvers
is a nice wave for showing all your surfing style and maneuvers
and this wave, as almost all waves in Indonesia
breaks in a shallow reef
SHARP !
and because of that also can hold BIG waves
sometime it goes off 15ft and people surf using tow-in
now we will leave Uluwatu in the south-west of Bali
and go to Keramas, still in Bali Island but a bit to the north and east
is also a reef break
it´s a right hand wave
depends on the swell it can be long, but not as long as Uluwatu
but this wave is more tubular
is a nice barrel
last year of 2018, this wave had a WCT championship
where Italo Ferreira was the champ !
this is a HIGH PERFORMACE wave
it has a hard drop
the barrel sessions is right in the drop, so you got get some speed
that´s why they put the best surfers in world on this wave
and is also a very constant wave
now we will leave Keramas and go back to the south-west, close to Uluwatu
the wave is PADANG PADANG
is very close to Uluwatu
is also a left hand wave
but it needs a bigger swell, because it´s protected by some cliffs
this is one of the waves I most want to surf in Indonesia
because it is a nice left barrel
and also have many sessions
so there is a barrels session, a maneuver sessions
when this wave is pumping the crowd is big
because everybody loves to surf this wave
and some professional surfers says that they got the wave of their lifes there
because is a long barrel and you can also show your style and maneuvers
so people love surfing there
just making a pause in the video

Now we will leave the Island of Bali
and we go to the Island of LOMBOK
the place is DESERT POINT
this wave when is pumping is one of the best left barrels on earth
because is very long
you need to catch a lot of speed
but this wave is not constant
it needs a nice solid swell to happen
and also the tide is very influent on this wave
but when is pumping looks like a wave pool
there are barrels 20 seconds long
and the wave exit is in a very shallow reef
so is hard to exit the barrel
and you need to be a experient surfer to ride this wave
so this wave is for dedicated surfer only
because it is inconstant and very high performace
now we go from LOMBOK to JAVA

this wave is in a wild place of Indonesia
in a unexplored island
G-Land is a big nice barrel to the left
that can get 15ft
a very strong wave
a barrel that it´s lip trow in the inside
breaks also in a very shallow reef
and this wave also have some sessions
the hardest one is called by SPEEDIES
that´s a very fast sessions
and is also the gold session of the wave
because you can be very deep in the barrel
I also would love to surf this wave, mainly because I´m Goofy footer
now we leave G-Land and go to the NORTH SUMATRA
the place is NIAS
the year of 2018 Nias had a epic swell
it was very big
and perfect
also had a boat accident in the wave
the pilot should win THE BEST WIPEOUT OF THE CENTURY
but for sure he got hurt on this one
this wave in normal days is a nice right hand wall
a bit long, you can get a barrel on it, trow some maneuvers
but in this epic swell specifically
it was very tubular and very very big
a very hard drop, in the dry and very fast
and for sure the surfers that were there
got a wave to remenber forever
is a very nice wave for the right
a f*cking nice barrel
but for surfing backside there when is big, must be really hard
and now we leave the SUMATRA ISLAND, we leave NIAS
and go a bit south, to the MENTAWAIIS
of course it would be here
I couldn´t choose one wave from the Mentawaiis
because would be very unfair
there´s waves everywhere you look
right hand waves, left hand waves
all of them perfect
for all kind and level of surfers
there is barrels to the right, barrels to the left
all looking like wave pools
is the dream surf trip of almost all surfers
including my dream surf trip
so I had to include the entire region
in the video you can see some waves like
KANDUI
RIFLES
HOLLOWTREES
GREENBUSH
so there is many many waves there, and all perfect waves
in all of them you can catch the wave of your life
and also the crowd there is almost nonexistent
because the locals don´t surf there, because is hard to access
so you can surf a perfect place just you and your friends in the water
nobody else
so imagine you surfing only with your friends, perfect waves and perfect barrels
so MENTAWAII is really the dream surf trip
That´s it guys, those were the BEST WAVES IN INDONESIA
