Alright guys as some of you might have already guessed from our previous videos, Raam and

I love exploring markets, especially local fresh markets and now we are actually standing

outside the biggest Fish Market in Split.

It is absolutely vibrant, bustling and it opens around 6.30 AM in the morning and closes

around 2 PM.

The very cool thing is that around noon-ish the prices significantly drop.

This market is actually 120 years old, you find around 50 different varieties of fish,

and you know whats really cool?

Unlike any other fish market in the world where you will find a ton of flies and what

not, here you actually do not have that problem.

It's the only fish market in the world.

The reason is because there are sulphur springs beneath the ground.

So it keeps the flies away.

As well as that one really interesting fact is that there is a guy dedicated to cleaning

the fish and filleting it for only around 2 US dollars, around 1.5 Euros.

Super amazing.

Ulysses S. Grant: Civil War Hero (1869 - 1877) - Duration: 6:32.

Professor Dave here, let's learn about Ulysses Grant.

Ulysses S. Grant was the fifth American general elected as President.

As the Commanding General of the Union Army, Grant led the United States to victory in

its costly Civil War.

After the war, he was in charge of implementing Congressional Reconstruction, often pitting

him against President Andrew Johnson.

He was the first president since Andrew Jackson to serve two full terms.

Grant led the Republicans in their effort to remove any traces of Confederate nationalism,

protect African-American citizenship, and support industrial expansionism.

However, his second term was riddled with corruption and wracked by the Panic of 1873.

For many years he was regarded as a weak president, whose Administration was infested with dishonest

Army cronies, but recently Grant's historical stock has risen in light of his vigorous enforcement

of Reconstruction and his commitment to African-American enfranchisement.

Born Hiram Ulysses Grant, he received his new initial accidentally when his Congressional

patron carelessly wrote down his name as Ulysses Simpson Grant on the application for the Military

Academy at West Point.

He adopted the new name, and his fellow cadets gave him the nickname "Sam" Grant, in

reference to his initials "US" and the American symbol of Uncle Sam.

Grant graduated from West Point in 1843 and served in the Mexican–American War, retiring

in 1854.

He struggled financially in civilian life, and when the Civil War began in 1861, he rejoined

the U.S. Army.

In 1862, Grant launched a vigorous assault on Fort Donelson in Tennessee on his own initiative,

earning him the nickname "Unconditional Surrender" Grant.

His aggressiveness was just the kind that President Lincoln had been looking for, and

he promoted Grant to the rank of major general.

He soon gained control of Kentucky and most of Tennessee, and won a bloody victory at

the Battle of Shiloh, where he earned a reputation as a commander willing to withstand many casualties.

In July 1863, after a long siege, Grant took the fortress citadel of Vicksburg, giving

the Union control of the Mississippi River and dividing the Confederacy in two.

Along with the Union victory at Gettysburg on the same day, Vicksburg was seen as the

turning point of the war.

Lincoln promoted Grant to Commanding General of the United States Army in March 1864 when

he confronted Robert E. Lee in a series of bloody battles, trapping Lee's army in their

defense of Richmond.

In April 1865, Lee surrendered to Grant at Appomattox, effectively ending the war.

Though Grant's military strategies are featured in military history texts, a minority contends

that he won by brute force rather than superior tactics.

After the Civil War, Grant led the army's supervision of Reconstruction in the former

Confederate states.

Elected president in 1868 and re-elected in 1872, Grant stabilized the nation during the

turbulent Reconstruction period, prosecuted the Ku Klux Klan, and enforced civil and voting

rights using the army and the newly formed Department of Justice.

He also built a coalition of black voters, Northern newcomers dubbed "carpetbaggers",

and native Southern white supporters, or "scalawags" to extend the Republican party's foothold

in the South.

In this time, African-Americans were elected to various offices.

In Grant's second term, the Republican coalitions in the South continued to splinter and were

defeated one by one as redeemers, or conservative whites, regained control using coercion and

violence.

Grant's Indian peace policy initially reduced frontier violence, though the Great Sioux

War of 1876 erupted in the final year of his presidency, which is famously remembered for

Custer's last stand at the Battle of the Little Bighorn.

Grant was a poor administrator and often chose men from his Army past instead of experienced

administrators to run governmental departments.

Corruption charges escalated during his second term, while his response to the Panic of 1873

proved ineffective in halting a five-year depression.

Grant had to respond to charges of corruption more than any other 19th Century president.

But he also appointed the first Civil Service Commission and signed legislation ending the

corrupt patronage system.

Grant left office in 1877 and embarked on a two-year world tour, which greatly helped

to establish the American presence abroad.

In 1880, Grant was unsuccessful in obtaining a Republican presidential nomination for a

third term.

Facing severe investment reversals and dying of throat cancer, he composed his memoirs,

which proved to be a major literary work and financial success, completing them only five

days before his death in 1885, which prompted an outpouring in support of national unity.

Early historical assessments were negative about Grant's presidency, often focusing

on the corruption charges and ranking his presidency below average, but modern research,

in part focusing on civil rights, evaluates his presidency more favorably.

His greatest achievement remains his invaluable contributions to the Union cause during the Civil War.

Rugby league will break new ground at the 2021 World Cup when it becomes the first sport other than football to stage a game at Arsenal 's Emirates Stadium

The North London venue will host a semi-final along with Leeds' Elland Road, with the final at Old Trafford and the opening ceremony at Newcastle 's St James' Park

As part of the most inclusive rugby league event ever, RLWC2021 will see the men's, women's and wheelchair tournaments played concurrently for the first time

Another UK first will see the women's and men's finals take place as a double-header at Old Trafford, while Liverpool 's M&S Bank Arena Liverpool will host the wheelchair final, with the Copper Box Arena in London having staged England's group matches

Among other stadiums staging matches are Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium, Sheffield United's Bramall Lane and Coventry's Ricoh Arena, alongside a host of traditional rugby league venues that help meet a government target of 80 percent of the tournament being in the Northern Powerhouse

Jon Dutton, chief executive of the Rugby League World Cup 2021, said: "I would like to congratulate all of our chosen hosts who have worked so hard in submitting such compelling bids

"Each and every host now has the opportunity to galvanise and inspire their respective communities ahead of the competing nations arriving in England

"With all three tournaments running concurrently, RLWC2021 will give the chance for people across the country to engage in a variety of ways and really look forward to October and November 2021

Rev up your engines, today I'm going to talk about 5 suvs that

you should never buy used, because many of them were bad enough when they were brand

new, now suvs are getting more and more popular because you can hold stuff in them and their

very handy and they ride pretty good these days, the early ones were kind of bumpy but

they make them a lot better now, well some of them are made a lot better, here

are 5 suvs that you should never buy used, now the first suv never to buy used is the

bmw x5, you mind as well say bmw money pit, that's all those things turn into, they've

have problems with engine oil leaks, water leaking into the vehicle, big transmission

problems, and problems with their stability control system that keep them from flipping

over because their so boxy, yeah their high tech there's no arguing that, but I've had

customers with them that they got this gyro sensor that goes bad and it's a small thing

but it costs like $1,500-1,800 for the thing, their just high priced and it's not like their

high quality, there's so much plastic used in those things their always getting leaks,

I had one customer with an x5, I told her, you shouldn't have bought this thing used

their money pits, well after a year of driving the thing and finally I put on my bmw computer

for her latest problem at it was the transmission was going out, I did a little research and

found out that it was going to cost her 4-5 thousand to fix it so she finally got rid

of the thing, she traded it in on a used lexus suv and boy she is happy with that lexus,

that was years ago and she's still driving the lexus and I hardly ever she her because

the things don't break, just normal oil changes and brake job stuff on those,

and of course bmw is so snobby they didn't even call the x5 a suv they called it a sports

activity vehicle, well yeah because your going to spend a lot of activity going to the bmw

dealer getting the thing fixed, now the next suv not to buy is the cadillac

escalade, now if you want to impress your friends and neighbors that your driving a

cadillac suv and you don't care that you get 11 mpg in actual driving, the cadillac escalade

might be for you, it's a show boat and a lot of that show boating stuff is made out of

plastic, and guess what it cracks early and breaks down, their known for heating and ac

problems, you might think oh that's not that big of a deal, it's all computerized and believe

me I've seen people spend $1,500-2,500 taking the dashs apart fixing those plastic things,

they have problems with the dash and display system on them, just cheaply made and they'll

just come on and off at will, their poorly made theirs no doubting that, the have early

transmission failures and awd versions they have differential problems that cost a fortune

to fix, it's a big heavy vehicle but the internals are not heavy duty enough, they just break

down too much from carrying all that weight around, cadillac has been using that cadillac

top of the line image for decades, well it's been a long time since that was even close

to the truth, now the next suv not to buy the jeep renegade,

the renegade was created after chrysler and fiat merged, fiat bought chrysler, the renegade

is small, it's under powered and if you tried to take that jeep renegade off road like one

of those big jeeps good luck, these jeep renegade, their made in Italy,

their made is Brasil, and their made in China, they have nothing to do with the legendary

jeep, especially stay away from the 2015 renegade that was the worst one they ever built, they

have engine failures, they have transmission failures, they have electronic failures, the

list goes on and on and on, it's like the combination of Italian manufacturing problems,

not surprisingly the renegades have a lot of electronic problems, many Italian cars

have electronic weak systems that's just the way they go, it also has a problem with blowing

head gaskets in the engine, a typical problem that Italian cars have, you know if you want

to get a jeep I'm not that big of a fan of the newer ones, the old ones were great, but

if you are get a regular one, don't get this small one,

now the fourth suv not to buy used is the Chevy traverse, I've seen engines stop on

ones that had 40,000 miles on them, the awd system has problems and costs thousands of

dollars to fix, I mean if a vehicle has engine and transmission problems, that says stay

away, stay far away from this vehicle, I mean I had a customer with a traverse, it kept

flashing up service awd, then it said super cruise system, well this car didn't have a

super cruise system yet is was saying there was a problem in a system that it didn't even

have on the vehicle, and the gm dealer couldn't figure out what was wrong he just lived with

that until he got rid of it, he said it was the biggest pile of junk he ever had and he's

never going to buy another one, the last suv never to buy used is the pontiac aztek, it

was made famous in Breaking Bad where Brian drove one around and eventually he took it

to a garage, they fixed it all up he came to pick it up and he looked at it and took

his hat out of the back seat, put it on his head and walked away and gave the car to the

mechanic, I had a customer that did a similar thing with an aztek, the thing had like 55,000

miles on it and the head gasket blew and the engine stopped, so he had to put another engine

in, so he said to heck with that, he had a used engine put in and then he just sold the

thing and got rid of it and said, that's it for gm I'm never buying another one of their

products, basically the azteks were gm's version of trying to copy a toyota matrix and man

did they fail big, the azteks actually had a lot of different problems, but the biggest

ones were, the head gaskets of the engines going, the transmission going out, and having

intake manifolds that would go bad and leak oil and water into the engine, and if you

didn't watch that closely that would lead to a blown engine too, and even if you caught

it right in the beginning you had to take the whole engine apart and spend like $1,500

to fix something that should have never happened in the first place, cuz I'm not talking about

cars that are 20 or 30 years old, some of these cars were less than a year old and some

of them were 3,4,5 years old, but regardless, they were poorly made vehicles, they don't

make them anymore obviously, now if you want to get a pontiac suv, get a pontiac vibe,

it's the same thing as this matrix, the were made in the same plant, the have the same

engine, transmission, wheels and everything, the only thing different is this sheet metal

on the vehicles, so that one you can get because it's actually a toyota product really,

showing that the expression, what's in a name can mean a lot you want to research what's

behind that name, now sure there's plenty of good used suvs out there but stay away

from these 5 suvs if you don't want to catch a sports utility virus, so if you never want

Ovince Saint Preux hopes to see fight moved from UFC 235 to Nashville card - Duration: 5:56.

For many fighters, booking a fight in Las Vegas would mark a major milestone in their careers

Ovince Saint Preux has been there and done that, even once sharing the main event spotlight opposite Jon Jones in a five-round interim title fight at MGM Grand Garden Arena back in April 2016

Now he just wants to come home again. The light heavyweight veteran is currently scheduled to fight Misha Cirkunov at UFC 235 in Las Vegas on March 2, but that matchup was announced before news broke that the Octagon would soon be heading to Saint Preux's home state of Tennessee for UFC Nashville on March 23

As much as "OSP" enjoys the bright lights of Vegas, if he has to choose, he'll always lean towards fighting closer to Knoxville, where he's lived and trained since the start of his fighting career

"It's my home and why not?" Saint Preux told MMA Fighting when asked why he's trying to get his UFC 235 fight changed

"I love fighting in Vegas, but I guarantee you I'll fight in Vegas again before I fight in Nashville

So every time that opportunity comes up to fight in Nashville, why not take it?" Saint Preux's fight with Cirkunov became official in early January and though he'd heard rumors that a Nashville card was in the works, he didn't think much of it

It wasn't until a couple of weeks later when a return to "Music City" was confirmed that Saint Preux felt like he was missing out

He also worries that fans will miss out on getting to see a local star compete with Saint Preux's fellow Tennesseans having recently competed or already been scheduled to compete elsewhere

"To be honest right now we've got four fighters from the state of Tennessee that fight for the UFC," Saint Preux said

"It's myself, Scott Holtzman, we're both Knoxville, Tennessee. Then you have Dustin Ortiz and Luke Sanders and they're both Nashville, Tennesee, but Dustin Ortiz just got through fighting last weekend against Joseph Benavidez, and Scott Holtzman got a fight against Nik Lentz in Phoenix, which is the 17th

I think Luke Sanders is on that card too and I was thinking to myself, 'Shoot, I wouldn't mind pushing my fight a couple of weeks back just to fight on that [Nashville] card

' "The state of Tennessee is where I started off my MMA career. I was involved in the first pro show that ever took place in the state of Tennessee, so fighting in Vegas is cool, but every time I get a chance to fight in Tennessee, that's what I want to shoot for is to fight in Tennessee

" With 18 UFC appearances on his resume, Saint Preux has always painted the picture of a model employee

He's fought on four different continents and is no stranger to being called upon on short-notice or to having fights rescheduled for reasons beyond his control

Even now he's not exactly rocking the boat, simply working through his manager to see if the UFC and Cirkunov will be open to moving their upcoming bout to Nashville, a city he's competed in four previous times and as recently as April 2017

Does Saint Preux feel like officials owe him any favors? "I could say that," Saint Preux said

"But they're my bosses and at the end of the day do they really owe me a favor? Not necessarily

But like I said, there have been situations where — shoot, fighting (Mauricio) Shogun (Rua), I took a fight last minute

I was actually on the plane and didn't even know who I was going to fight. I remember when I was supposed to fight Ilir Latifi in January and they moved the fight to February because he got hurt, and I was looking for a fight

Now a week before the fight, 'Hey, we gotta move this fight.' "When I fought Shogun the first time, same thing

I was supposed to be the co-main event, a week before the fight, next thing you know opponent changed

When I fought Volkan Oezdemir, I was supposed to fight Jan Blachowicz and that ended up changing two weeks before the fight

I've had a lot of things happen to me and I just roll with the punches." Missing out on a major card like UFC 235 doesn't matter much to Saint Preux, who said his pay will be the same regardless of where he fights and he doesn't mind missing out on the media frenzy that accompanies most pay-per-views, especially one that features a Jones title fight in the main event

UFC Nashville is currently set to be headlined by a welterweight bout between Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson and Anthony Pettis

Should Saint Preux's request for a rescheduling be granted, he's not campaigning for a co-main event slot necessarily, but he's certain that Tennessee will at least be represented on the ESPN+ main card

"Literally, when the card got announced my Instagram blew up like, 'I can't believe you're not on this card,'" Saint Preux said

"And guys were like how do not have any Tennessee guys on the card? If (UFC president) Dana (White) gives the okay, if (UFC matchmaker) Mick (Maynard) gives the okay, I'll take it
