Naby Keita is not pushing to leave RB Leipzig to join Liverpool during the January transfer
window and remains committed to the Bundesliga side until the end of the season.
Liverpool agreed a deal for the Guinea international during last summer's transfer window with
the midfielder remaining at Leipzig for the 2017-18 campaign.
The Reds saw off interest from Barcelona for the 22-year-old after agreeing a fee said
to be worth £48m.
Keita played an instrumental role in helping Lepzig qualify for the Champions League for
the first time last season,
but their elimination from the competition before the knock-out stages helped fuel speculation
that the player could push for a move earlier than scheduled.
But Leipzig chief executive Oliver Mintzlaff insists there have been no efforts from the
player or his representatives to bring the deal forward.
"Neither Naby nor his agent made the request to leave the club in the winter," Mintzlaff
told Bild.
"There are contracts which say that he will be a Liverpool employee from 1 July onwards.
"Our pros have character and are ambitious.
I am not worried.
In 2018, I expect everyone to step up with maximum mentality, force and character.
That is what makes us strong."
While Keita will not arrive until the summer, Liverpool have made a significant addition
to their squad for January in Virgil van Dijk,
with the defender sealing his move from Southampton for a world record fee for a defender.
But much of the focus for the rest of the month could now be on who leaves Merseyside.
Philippe Coutinho's proposed move to Barcelona continues to dominate the agenda with the
La Liga leaders growing confident of striking a deal in the coming weeks.
Daniel Sturridge meanwhile is reportedly favouring a move to Southampton if the club can match
Liverpool's £25m asking price,
while Danny Ings remains linked with loan moves to a host of Premier League sides.

Barcelona tipped to make €150 million bid for Philippe Coutinho - Duration: 4:32.
Barcelona tipped to make €150 million bid for Philippe Coutinho
Barcelona's interest in Philippe Coutinho is mounting this January, with the Spanish giants said to be preparing a bid worth €150 million.
Coutinho missed Monday's 2-1 win away to Burnley with a thigh injury, but it has since transpired that the Brazilian is again pushing for a move away from Merseyside.
This proved unsuccessful in the summer, with Liverpool ignoring his request for a transfer and rejecting three big-money bids from Barcelona.
But the wider suggestion is that the Reds would be more willing to part ways with their No.
10 at this stage, though their preference would be to agree a deal for next summer.
The 25-year-old has been in excellent form so far this season, scoring 12 and assisting nine in 20 appearances, but Jurgen Klopp has also witnessed top performances without him.
It remains to be seen whether they would accept a new offer from Barcelona, but according to Sky Sports' Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, there is one in the offing.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday night, Balague claimed that the Catalan outfit "will soon make an offer of €110 million [plus] €40 million.
Furthermore, Barcelona chairman Josep Maria Bartomeu is said to "feel in debt to [Coutinho] for how hard he's trying" to force through the switch, and "their top players want him.
Balague states that "Liverpool have changed their tone but have not put [a] price [on] him," adding: "They will act when [the] offer arrives.
Which it will.".
On Wednesday morning, he elaborated further, claiming that "ideally they would want a replacement," with AS Monaco youngster Thomas Lemar likely their leading candidate.
While this is far from the premier source for transfer information, it has been widely reported that Liverpool would require an offer of around €150 million (£130 million) to consider selling.
Coutinho is now not expected to take part in Friday's FA Cup third-round clash with Everton, though he was pictured reporting to Melwood on Tuesday.
These swift developments come after a bizarre Nike advertisement inferring a deal was already in place, though this has proved to be in error.
It would be a disappointing juncture if Liverpool did allow Coutinho to leave midway through the season after having fought so doggedly to keep him just five months ago.
With Klopp's side fighting for a top-four finish in the Premier League, and facing a Champions League last-16 meeting with Porto later this year, Coutinho is a much-needed talent.
And given he is already cup-tied in Europe and Barcelona are nine points clear at the top of La Liga, it is questionable whether they need him before July anyway.

12 Days of Christmas: 10 Lords a Leaping (cc) - Duration: 2:42.
10 Lords a Leaping.....is there a party in the house of Commons?????
Bells tolling.......
Hi Guys I'm Shelly, and welcome to day 10, of the 12 Days of Christmas.
And we're on 10 Lords a-leaping. Why they're leaping? I don't know.
Maybe they just got their expenses rebate back. Cause you know. You'd leap for that you little scrongy buggers.
If you don't know what a Lord is, traditionally here in the United Kingdom,
the UK, England. You know, this place that is an island. That it's slowly, you know, sinking into the water.
Traditionally it's how a man of land or title is addressed. Such as the Lord of the Manor in Downton.
Who I cannot remember his name...... Lord thingamajig.
He is a lord, because he owns a title he owns a peerage. He has a piece of land,
and it is passed down to his son, and his grandson and so on and so forth.
Why it has to be passed down to sons, well you can hit history over the head for that one.
It also refers to a member of the British peerage, so you can become a Lord.
Lots of people buy their way into Lordegde, but I won't speculate on that,
because I'll probably get sued! But if you are a Lord it means you can vote,
in the House of Lords and have your say on government issues.
There's a whole big debate on whether they should be allowed to do that.
Because you know, they haven't been elected. Currently the House of Lords can sign a bill,
and say, Yay go for it. Or they can veto a bill, in which case it will not happen.
Sometimes, having the House of Lords is a good thing.
They backup the every man's vote and,say "you know what government, you're off you nut, don't do that"
But sometimes they sign things that are bloody dreadful.
In Christianity, the 10 Lords a-leaping, stand for the 10 commandments,
though why they're leaping, I don't know? Can commandments leap?
Did Moses leap? Was it Moses? Was it Moses who read the 10 Commandments? Did he do it well leaping?
I don't know! But apparently this is what it refers to......
So there are these 10 Lords a Leaping in the Commons, probably at one of the many, many bars that are free,
And are very, very annoying. Don't even get me started on British politics.
We pay for Lords to get drunk on champagne...... Yep we pretty much live in the dark ages.
Okay I will see you guys tomorrow for the 11......
Something something's, yeah who knows... Bye
Did any of you guys play leapfrog as kids? Could you do leapfrog? I could never.
I'd be the person that somebody leaped over. But I could never quite get the ummph!

The Lead-up to the Boston Massacre - Duration: 1:08.
Events in Boston were getting out of hand.
Rumors circulated of plans to garrison soldiers in Boston, and for once, rumors had understated
the case.
Almost the entire British garrison stationed in Halifax, Nova Scotia–around 700 soldiers—arrived
in Boston in September 1768, and an additional 1000 soldiers were on their way from Ireland.
As British warships sailed into Boston Harbor, they lined up in a menacing battle formation,
their broadsides facing the town.
Bostonians were hostile but restrained.
Local officials refused to provide quarters for the troops, so the British rented various
buildings scattered throughout Boston.
This was asking for trouble.
Scuffles between soldiers and civilians become more frequent, and tragedy struck on the evening
of March 5, 1770.
A scuffle escalated and ended in the death of five Bostonians.

The List of Grievances in the Declaration of Independence - Duration: 0:55.
Later in the Declaration we find the list of grievances, those "Facts . . . submitted
to a candid world" that explain why Americans were justified in dissolving "the political
bands" that connected them to Britain.
Few Americans today are familiar with the Declaration's grievances, but to most readers
in 1776 they were far more important than the political principles summarized in the
second paragraph.
Did the actions of the British government, however unwise or unjust they may have been,
signify a deliberate design to extinguish American freedom?
If this question could not be answered in the affirmative, then a revolution could not
be justified–and this is why the list of grievances was viewed as the most crucial
feature of the Declaration.

What are Tubular Chain Conveyors? - An Interview with Mr. Rick Leroux - Duration: 1:31.
[music]
Our main product lines are Tubular Chain
Conveyors and Automatics Bag Slitters.
Tubular Chain Conveyors are used in many
instances, to automate the front-end of
the line, that is to bring in material from either a
railcar, or truck unloading station, and
have that material directed to storage
silos, and also, these conveyors are used
in order to move products from one stage
in the process to the next. These
mechanical conveyors are known for their
quality of being able to handle material in a
very gentle, dust-free manner, in order to
preserve product integrity and control
the environment in which the material is
being conveyed. What's most important is
the ability for us to support a variety
of layouts, and that this technology
extremely flexible in its application
whereby we can run horizontal lengths
up to 120 to 170 feet, as well as
vertical heights that will run anywhere
between 50 and 100 feet depending
on the weight of the product involved.
