Youtube daily report Jan 4 2018

Today I wanted to come here and talk to us a little bit about

Niacinamide I have been on the hunt to find

Different ingredients that would be good for my clients when treating hyperpigmentation

So that led me down the road of Obagi, which I'm currently doing the Obagi nu-derm system

I'm having great success for them on hydroquinone now for probably about two months

I've started to really research all of the things that I might want to do when I need to cycle off of my hydroquinone

that got me really really looking at niacinamide and you guys I don't even know how

Everybody and their dog isn't talking about niacinamide. I'm just gonna go quickly down the things that niacinamide does for us

It's an exciting ingredient, and it's affordable, so let's get started

What does niacinamide do?

Number one it helps with a large pores it can actually help visibly improve the size of your pores

That's pretty awesome in itself the other thing that it does and I feel like this is the biggest thing is

It helps with your barrier function it help or encourage ceramide production if you suffer from

Dryness because of trans epidermal water loss a healthy barrier is going to help to eliminate or control

Toll transit a dermal what a lot nice and ammonia is not super photosensitive. You can wear it in the morning

You can wear it at night

It's also not very expensive so you can find products with niacinamide

for a really reasonable amount of money the other thing that nice in my does is it helps to improve your

Skin tone it has been shown that

niacinamide

Actually, also works as a tyrosine ace inhibitor, which is like the hydroquinone

So it also helps with the transfer of melanin to our epidermis

So that is such a positive thing for those of us with melasma it niacinamide

Has been shown to boost collagen production. I don't think there's much you need to say about that it helps boost collagen production

That's incredible you guys nice in mind also

helps fight free radicals and glycation

But not only that you guys it can also help reverse some of the damage of past free radicals, okay guys

I'm gonna read a little bit to you from the dermatology time

I want to read this to you because I don't want to get some of these steps make it suck you guys

topical niacinamide reduces fine lines and wrinkles after prolonged use a

12-week clinical study of topical 5% niacinamide emulsion

demonstrated a 21 percent improvement in fine lines along with a 14% skin tone clarity and

15% radiance improvement I

Think that that is so stinking amazing you guys overall it is a product. You absolutely should have in your arsenal

I want to show you four products that I currently use in a rotation, and they're all super affordable

This is my elta MD. UV Claire and

It has high purity niacinamide. I'm going to show you the ingredients here

I'm gonna split the screen and show you the ingredients. This is such a fantastic sunscreen

I've talked about this so many times

But the really cool thing is that it has high purity niacinamide it acts for me like a primer

I love it the way it fills you guys so this one is fantastic

for

Hyperpigmentation if you have acne if you have rosacea this one is an excellent choice. It's non-irritating it goes on

It's not greasy. It is so so so good now a couple others that are a little less expensive. We're gonna start

We're going to go down a level of expense here, but we have the LA roche-posay

This is the tellurian double Repair moisturizer UV broad-spectrum SPF 30

Okay, guys this one has ceramides, and it has nice and amide in it this one feels amazing, too

I absolutely love this one India therapy, and I talked about this in one of my last videos

I think my collab with Cathy from Cathy speedy care shots anyway

This is the therapy am a facial moisturizing lotion SPF 30 this one. Also has three ceramides

And ionic acid this is so good. This is like under $10 and I

Tell you what I really really enjoy it

I find it more moisturizing than the other two that I've talked about

So on days when I'm a little bit more dry from my retin-a and whatnot

This is the one I will reach for because I really really enjoy. It's kind of extra emollient

See it's very very good and lastly one that I've been incorporating lately is my Cera be p.m.

Now this is the same thing this one is actually

Normal to dry skin. It does have ceramides nice and my entire logic acid, but I find that it's quite light and

But moisturizing, it's very very nice

And it's so good with your retinol retinyl system

I mean I find it to just blend right on in to my retina

Regime the nice and of mine is something you should add into your

routine and don't be worried about

Negating something else or doing anything it will only enhance

Everything else and if you are threatening

I highly suggest that you get on

Nice and light to help with that barrier function to help with trans epidermal water loss and to really just help with the overall

Dryness of your skin and your sensitivity because it's an anti-inflammatory

It's gonna really really help you tolerate your retina better things

And I definitely wanted to point out is that you can get it in

5% if you if the package actually says a percentage

5% is kind of what has been tested it is what?

is recommended for

You know optimal results that kind of thing if the package doesn't say a percentage and a lot of them

Don't say the percentage look for nine-cent of mine in the top five ingredients

That's my rule of thumb the higher up and in the ingredient deck the more

There is in the product. I like to see it in the top 5 in general now

10% niacinamide it's typically in a booster form so it's something that you're going to mix into

Your lotions or your night creams that kind of thing you can find

10% boosters I think Paula's Choice makes one

I think the ordinary mix one there are others that make a 10% nice Center mine, but again

That's more like something you're going to mix into something else not something that you're generally going to put all over your face

10% can cause a little bit of irritation

So you should be aware of that mix it into a different product bottom-line niacinamide is kind of a workhorse

Thank you guys for watching, and I hope you enjoyed this video, please

Have a wonderful wonderful week

S. Korea patiently awaits response from N. Korea - Duration: 2:12.

Anticipation peaked as the inter-Korean communication line was reconnected.

The North did make contact but nothing much was said.

Seoul now waits for Pyongyang to name a preferred date for high-level talks.

Our Ji Myung-kil gets us up to speed with the developments.

The North Korean liaison official called the South at 9:30 a.m. via the newly restored

cross-border hotline at the truce village of Panmunjeom.

According to Seoul's unification ministry,... the South Korean official asked whether the

North had anything to notify... to which the North Korean official reportedly said "No,"

and that if there is anything... the North will make contact.

At 4:30 p.m., the North called again and said let's bring it to an end for the day.

Officials on the South Korean side had called North Korea half an hour earlier at 9:00 a.m.,

but the call went unanswered since working hours in the North are 30 minutes behind those

in the South.

That's because two years ago North Korea brought its time zone forward by half an hour.

The hotline had been cut off in February of 2016 by North Korea... after Seoul closed

the joint factory park in Kaesong in response to Pyongyang's fourth nuclear test and provocative

rocket launches.

But after Kim Jong-un expressed a willingness in his new year's speech this week to reestablish

dialogue, the North announced on state TV that it was reopening the direct telephone

line.

And it did so soon after a proposal from Seoul Tuesday that the two sides discuss cooperating

on the Olympics and look for ways to improve ties.

Seoul's unification ministry said it will wait patiently until Pyongyang responds about

the details of any upcoming talks and then look at the next steps to take.

If North Korea ends up sending a delegation led by the chair of its committee for inter-Korean

affairs, Ri Son-gwon, then South Korea would likely send its unification minister, Cho

Myoung-gyon.

Ji Myung-kil, Arirang News.

The first teaser for the drama was shown at the 2017 KBS Drama Awards and captured the two stars sharing a romantic moment. Stills from the lovey-dovey moment were released on January 3.

Radio Romance centers around top star-turned-DJ Ji Su Ho (played by Yoon Doojoon), who cant do anything without a script, and radio scriptwriter Song Geu Rim (played by Kim So Hyun), who casts him as the DJ.

Please take whatever you want.

Just don't do anything to me and my baby plea...

Kill Hitler!

You would kill Hitler?

Yeah, you know, before he gains power

That would be murder.

Kill one to save millions.

Believe me, many people would if the oppontunity were presented to them

Yeah I know, but

world war 2 is insignificant in the history of time.

Oh!

Besides, have you not heard about the butterfly effects?

Well yeah, I mean

if it turns out worse

and i really doubt what anything could be worse than a fucking world war

I just go back again and prevent myself from killing him.

Hm OK.

Well

assume you do get a happy ending

then what?

I don't know

kill Bin Laden maybe.

You are a fucking psycopath!

Stop the car, I want to get out.

I love you.

I love you too.

Don't do it!

Oh my god.

Trust me on this Jonah

Do not press that button.

Terrisa?

It was a mistake.

It was not meant to be built

But it worked!

Do you not hear me? Step the fuck away!

No I won't, I won't

I won't

But if you are here, that means I've already done it.

You have no idea what we've done.

No idea!

It doesn't matter

This happened and will happen

J, just remember to tell me

to save the lizard, leave the cat and kill the bunny

I... J, keep it together, we talked about this

this is one of the scenarios that's expected to happen

Now, what did I say?

Save the lizard

leave the cat and kill the bunny.

So what happened?

Variables can be changed.

The constants stay the same and become new variables at each convergence point.

And then new constants are declared.

I can fix it, i just...

You can't fix anything unless you can travel between convergence points.

I'll find a way.

How old are you?

32

I'm you two years later

I've done everything you are thinking

I've done everything you're planning to do

This occurance is a constant

Do you have any idea how many loops have been created by delaying this.

One loop every zepto second.

J, we have to do it now!

Do it, J!

You can not be killed!

You are the constant!

Killing you means merging the loops, she knows that!

Do not fucking move!

Do not move, J!

Why are you not listening to me?

I, I am telling you!

Because you and me...

we are the variables.

I guess we are...

Oh my god, what have you done!

Wait...

I don't understand

why are we still here if Jonah is...

Mommy...

what happened to Jonah?

For Mormons, Succession Drama Is Against Their Religion (and beyond) - Duration: 7:02.

For Mormons, Succession Drama Is Against Their Religion (and beyond)

There will be no white smoke from a chapel chimney. There will be no church convention, no lobbying and no election. Mormons don't do succession drama. When the head of their church dies, as Thomas S.

Monson did on Tuesday, the next leader is chosen from the top ranks based strictly on seniority. The system is intended to avoid any hint of instability or intrigue, but it practically guarantees that the president will be elderly — even very elderly.

President Monson was 90, and had served as prophet and head of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for nearly 10 years.

Following a tradition that dates from the church's early years, he is to be succeeded by the longest-serving member of a church governing body known as the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

Right now, that man is President Russell M. Nelson, a former heart surgeon, who is 93. Next in line after him is Dallin H. Oaks, a former president of Brigham Young University and state Supreme Court justice.

You have to pass four more people in the line of succession before you get to someone born after World War II.

"It seems very predictable and regular, and there's a certain comfort that comes from that level of stability," said Brian Q.

Cannon, past president of the Mormon History Association and director of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University, the Mormon church's flagship college.

President Nelson is unlikely to deviate much from President Monson's conservative course, Professor Cannon said. The two men are of the same generation, molded in the same culture.

But President Nelson's priorities in office may be somewhat different, given his background in medicine, his experience training heart surgeons in China and his fluency in Mandarin.

"I don't foresee any radical changes, any revolutionary changes, but there could be differences in emphasis," Professor Cannon said.

President Nelson has already used his position as the church's senior apostle to endorse the teachings of President Monson as divinely inspired. Mormons believe that the president of their church is a living prophet who receives revelations from God.

In an address to Mormon millennials in 2016, President Nelson defended a controversial church policy set down by President Monson that declared gay Mormon couples to be apostates, and barred their children from most religious rites until they turn 18.

"Prophets see ahead — they see the harrowing dangers the adversary has placed, or will yet place, in our path," President Nelson said. "Prophets also foresee the grand possibilities and privileges awaiting those who listen with the intent to obey.".

President Monson's funeral has been scheduled for Friday, Jan. 12 in Salt Lake City. On Thursday, President Trump and the first lady, Melania Trump, offered condolences.

Over the church's 187-year history, the president has always been succeeded by the longest-serving member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles (who is not necessarily the oldest apostle), church historians said in interviews.

The first time was rocky. When Brigham Young succeeded the church's founder, Joseph L.

Smith, in 1847, he assumed the presidency only after a three-year power struggle. But over time the succession process became codified to avoid anything like that happening today, church historians said.

According to the church's website: "The appointment of a new president of the Church happens in an orderly way that — remarkably in today's world — avoids any trace of internal lobbying for position or rank.

Viewed by members as a divinely revealed process, it is devoid of electioneering whether behind the scenes or in public.". The gerontocracy at the top of the church has the advantage of experience, but there are also obvious disadvantages.

Some Mormon bloggers have commented in recent years that President Monson appeared to be disoriented, or gave rambling speeches in public appearances.

The church announced in October that he was no longer coming into the office, and he did not appear that month at the church's semiannual international gathering, its general conference.

President Nelson is older than President Monson was, but observers say he is physically and mentally strong for a man of his years. "President Nelson is remarkably healthy," Eric Hawkins, a spokesman for the church, said.

"As recently as last season, he was still snow skiing.".

How to Make Plantain Pancakes (Breakfast Recipe) | Plantain Pancakes-2018 - Duration: 3:08.

How to Make Plantain Pancakes (Breakfast Recipe) | Plantain Pancakes-2018

Hello friends welcome back if you're a returning viewer welcome

If this is your first time stopping by if you're not subscribed yet, please feel free to hit that red button and join the family

Today, I'm making plantain pancakes I had never heard of these or eaten them

But a friend of mine asked me if I could make them for her because she saw them somewhere

So I figured I'd give it a shot and you guys are coming along with me for this experiment

I'm using two very ripe plantains I decided to cut out the center part because I didn't want black specks in my pancakes

But I was like it doesn't really matter anyway

I'm cutting them out

Then I'm going to cut up my plantains and get them ready to go in the blender with the rest of my ingredients

one and a half cups of all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder one and a half tablespoons of melted butter

one teaspoon of vanilla and one a couple of evaporated milk

like I said, I'm going to pour all that in my blender and

Get to blending oh

Maybe I should have told you I'm using two eggs

I'm using two eggs my dad makes these pancakes with my niece and nephew, and they're not american-style pancakes

So I imagine that's what my Geryon pancakes are like so I'm going to try to make it that way

I've blended my ingredients and look at that beautiful smooth batter. That's what you want, and now we can get to fry

As you know I love my cast iron

so I am melting the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of butter and my pan on medium heat I

Will be frying the rest of my pancakes with oil

I'm using my 1/4 cup as a measuring tool, and I'm just going to pour that into the center of my pan I

Will

Swirl it around a little bit so that my pancakes are not too thick

And then I'm just gonna watch for the bubbles and then once I see the bubbles that means it's time to flip mm-hmm

There we go if necessary give you a pancake a gentle tap

All right, and then just cook the other side and get get it onto your plate

So that's all the oil I'm going to be using to fry all of that batter in order to control how much oil I use

I use this brush to brush my pan, and then I just continue frying, so just watch again as I do this

Pour your batter on give it a swirl watch for the bubbles and then flip

It's full and there are pancakes I didn't show you the plantain I use so there it is well

That's not the one I use, but that's how ripe it was yeah, but our pancakes look beautiful

They taste okay to me

but I'll let my friend comment down below and tell us how they were I

Did add some sugar to the last four so if you want a really sweet you can do that? I'll see you next time

THE SHELTER by Fernand Melgar - Duration: 1:41:33.

THE SHELTER

We're waiting for it to open at 00.30.

No, at 22.30... I can't remember.

It's called the bunker. What kind of home is that?

- This is no life. - We're up the creek.

Coming here, we thought we'd find a better life.

- We didn't think we'd end up like this! - In the street!

Sleeping in the street.

- We don't know where to go. - Where are you from?

I'm Spanish.

What was your job in Spain?

I was a storekeeper.

- What about you? - Just checking it out.

- Trying our luck in Switzerland. - Sure.

- Evening. - Evening, sir.

Sorry.

- That's good like that. - It's perfect.

The women, the elderly. The others on the other side.

Elderly people, women and children. Women!

You a woman?

Please come over to this side.

It's easier for young people to sleep outdoors.

Evening.

There are many of you. You can't all come in.

There's still a lady back there. Let her through.

Let the women and the children through. No pushing.

Evening.

Take that baby and pass it to me.

- Why are you doing this? - It's useless.

- You're doing that to get in. - That's not normal.

No, stop it.

- Hey, inside! - Are we set now?

Don't start again, or we'll get the truncheons.

- It's okay, it's over. - It's okay.

Don't push, otherwise you won't get in.

You're going to the back.

No! No!

You have 3 dorms for 200 people.

You're only taking 40.

Why are you doing that? Disgusting.

39, 40, 41, not you. 41, 42.

47, 48, 49.

- 49! - Because you're using the baby.

- 49... 50. - 50. That's it, no more.

Give me the baby if you want.

- Give the baby to its mother! - You're using it.

- You're being racist. - No, we're not.

I was the first one here.

50. Not him.

We're not stupid.

Not him, he's exaggerating.

Count OK?

- Is it full? - Yes.

- We'll be around for a while still. - Fine.

- Have a nice evening. - You too.

It's only a matter of security.

It's for security.

Do you realize that you may sleep here?

There's no bunker to sleep in in your home country!

You're privileged to be taken care of like that.

He keeps coming here with the baby.

The child may come in, but not him. No choice.

They won't let him in.

I want to leave.

If you say so...

But you know that you have priority?

- Sir. - There's nothing I can do.

Evening.

- Your name, madam? - Rosa.

It's 5 francs. You're paying?

- You're paying for both? - Yes.

- First time you're here? - Yes.

- You'll handle it. - Yes.

Thanks. Welcome.

Don't worry.

If she leaves it here, it'll be stolen.

Leaving it in your room

is more dangerous than entrusting it to us.

This too...

She can give it to us in the kitchen.

It's OK.

You want this?

Take it, before there's nothing left.

It is like a prison here.

Where are you going, David?

He won't stay without his dad.

Oh dear, miss!

Another terrible blow

It's the global crisis

We're hungry! It's the crisis!

What will we eat?

Can we stay in Switzerland?

It's really sad.

There's going to be a vote.

The people will decide. What will we do?

- They'll send us back home. - Deport us.

- You've been here for...? - 2 days.

Good, you've already been at the embassy.

What did they suggest?

They said to go where there's snow.

- Yes, the winter is coming. - We can work as a couple.

- It lasts 4 months. - From December to March.

It's temporary work in the ski resorts.

That's right.

French will be a problem.

Also, there are too many people like you.

Far too many.

Have you planned for contingencies?

- For... - Yes, we've got around 800€.

800€?

- 800€ is a monthly salary in Spain. - For sure.

But here, 800€ is a quarter of a salary.

- There is lots of money here. - In Switzerland? Quite.

- You have a mortgage? - Yes.

We haven't paid it for 2 years.

- They haven't taken the house away? - Not yet.

Have you seen what's happening in Spain?

People are evicted and then they kill themselves.

In today's newspaper, a person was selling his...

- His organs. - Really?

She has worked all her life. Look at her now.

I was a waitress for 10 years. They closed because of the crisis.

Nobody knows how to pull through anymore.

It's the whole family now.

The whole family? No, impossible.

- I want to sleep here tonight. - Your baby may come in.

- The woman came in. - She went out again.

- She was already in. - They left to make a call.

- You want to come in? - No, he stays here.

You want to come in with the kids?

- No. - Okay, that's fine then.

We're taking 3. That's all.

They're replacing them.

Hey, Bîrta! What are you doing?

We'll sleep in the car.

- Hello. - Hi.

Good morning!

Slept well?

Good morning!

Time to get up.

You okay, Diamond?

Hello, girls.

What would you like? A cup?

Good morning.

Good morning!

Good morning.

- Got something to say to you. - Again!

- It's going to be fun. - Again?

You're trying to be clever...

You didn't order the yoghurts.

It wasn't me who did the order.

Did you order any milk? For the weekend?

It wasn't her who did the order.

It wasn't me who did he order, pet.

When there is a new order, you have to check.

Because if on Friday evenings

there is no milk, no coffee... you go and buy some...

That's him, he's called little Dani!

- Say hello before starting to bawl. - It's not me, it's you.

I'm not bawling.

Cut out the crap! I'm not gay.

- There was enough coffee left. - No, because she bought some.

Cut the crap and open your eyes.

- Where's my coffee? - We were overfull last night.

You mustn't do that, for Christ's sake!

- 64, that's okay. - No, listen...

- Yesterday, there were 10 more. - What?

- We're starting to turn them down. - So you should.

- When it's cold, should we increase? - No!

If it's cold and the town council decides to open

they'll open something especially for cold weather.

So, now, I'm sorry.

You should have known better.

- What? - You're the oldest...

And you're the ones who disobey the most.

- Yes, yes... - Stop poking fun at me...

I can't leave people outside.

- You mess with me sometimes. - It comes from the heart.

When the train's gone, it's gone. When you arrive at the station...

You try to jump on.

You fall, get crushed by the train.

You're not being very clear.

No, listen... Remember when we admitted 45

but there were 48, we let them in.

- We're doing the same. - No.

You're not speaking French.

- I'm not speaking Portuguese. - I'm not Portuguese.

- What are you? - Swiss.

- And before that? - Always Swiss.

- My mother was Swiss before dying. - But your first nationality?

- Swiss, now. - Swiss, yes, now.

- What was your mother before? - She was Swiss.

- And your dad? - Spanish.

- Spanish. Well... - The same shit.

I didn't say that. I said the same mess.

So cut the crap.

Come here. I want to show you something.

This, this and this...

It's the Roma, not you.

Why don't you tell them?

We have already told you to pick it up.

So pick it up and put it in the bin. Now!

Look, it's fine in the blacks' room.

They're neat. Only the Roma do that.

- And the women... - That's for sure.

Don't go in there. You'll flip your lid.

We yell at them every night.

That's what's called respect. Holy shit!

What are we going to do now?

To get some food, you need to use your elbows.

Once you're in, I'll tell you how to get food.

- Do they know you inside? - Yes.

You have to force your way through and be quick.

Evening.

What we're going through...

The situation's got to change.

Afterwards, we'll go and find somewhere to sleep.

- We got 10 minutes. - It's okay.

Everyone turns up here.

Civil protection. Is it here?

Here for the first time? You too? Come over here.

What do you want me to do?

No, you're not coming in!

I don't know! Really!

Anton, I know, sorry.

And Nicolae, no?

I like Nicolae a lot.

I'm doing what I can.

- Already eaten? - Yes.

Here, some bed sheets...

Pillowcase.

OK. Thanks.

- Want to shower now or tomorrow? - Tomorrow.

We'll give you shampoo. Mind your head.

Let's find you a bed.

- Got a moment to talk later? - Yes.

- Here. - Yes.

- Take this one, okay? - OK.

- Touch and go, whenever we open... - Awful.

Pasta totally overcooked! Never mind.

Can you get the desserts out?

- Muslim? No? - The food isn't the problem.

Getting in here is. We're not sure of getting in.

You think I'm not letting you in because I don't like you?

There are 80 people but we can only let in 45.

Put yourself in my place.

I don't like doing this, we're all humans.

"You can come in, you can't."

I don't like doing this, but I only have 45 beds

and I have to choose who can come in.

It's heartbreaking.

I dislike saying: "Not you!" I have to be quick, though.

If I stay outside for an hour, the tension rises

and there'll be a fight.

I do it quickly and as best as I can.

Can you give me some sheets?

You've come because people told you it would be open.

- That's right. - Looking for work?

Yes, but it's not easy.

It's difficult, I know. Have you tried the "legal" way?

- Yes. - What did they say?

I've a residence card for Spain. I've no nationality.

You're not a Spanish citizen.

So a work permit is difficult.

I know that.

We'll let you in whenever we can,

knowing that you're looking for work.

- It's temporary. You know? - Yes.

- How long for? - We close down at the end of March.

We're in Switzerland.

"Rolex country", as we say in Senegal.

- You can't have people sleep outside. - No.

I'm here and I'll fight.

Right, you do that.

But if there are laws against you, you can't fight.

If you don't find work,

your coat will be dirty, you'll be like this.

You need to do what you can.

I've seen people arrive here, handsome just like you.

After 5 months, when they didn't find any work...

Human decline... People's morals deteriorate...

At some point, before getting there,

go back home. If you have a family, a home.

In the meantime, I'll let you come in and eat.

- It just costs 5 francs. - Right.

- Give me 2. - Another one?

- Is there no towel? - What?

- Towel? How...? - For this.

- For this. - Yes.

- A big bandage? - No, small.

- Open your palm. - That's good.

Someone want this?

That's for the men.

Who wants this?

Hey, girls!

No?

You want dark colors, but I don't have any.

They're demanding too!

A sweater.

There aren't many clothes for men.

There are lots for women.

It's branded clothes you want?

They won't keep you any warmer than non-branded ones.

Hats!

This one'll keep you warm!

You're wild!

- How does it look? Nice? - Perfect.

People don't donate underwear or socks.

That's nice. Come on.

Perfect!

Hey, girls! That's for a wedding!

Demba, look! How pretty.

What's the problem?

He's been coming here for 5 years.

People can't sleep here.

He must take his shoes off. It stinks in here.

That's true.

Lights out!

I don't want to get angry tonight.

Switch off that music.

Don't switch the light on.

I ordered this. I used it for ski rentals.

It disinfects footwear.

You know you can have a shower? It's free!

Towels, soap... you'll die like this.

You'll die like this.

Some people died for less than this.

You shower every day.

You know why it stinks in here?

It's your feet. I can smell them from here.

- I had a shower. - You did? Not this evening.

20, plus 20, 40.

Plus 10...

That's 210 francs.

- You want those not admitted? - Yes. How many were they?

25 men.

44 entries, 6 women plus 3 children, 20 persons refused.

PUBLIC LIBRARY

Work is pronounced "work".

So you say: "I want to work."

Work...

What shall we do?

What are we going to decide? Shall we stay?

I can do it.

- But how are you feeling? - Well.

You no longer cry?

Not any more.

I cried too much the first night here.

I don't cry any more.

- It's like a prison. - Where?

The bunker. People are nice, but...

There are lots of people like us here.

- I don't see... - Him over there.

He sleeps at the shelter, is looking for work.

He's like us. He lives from day to day.

- What's your name? - Amadou.

Where did you sleep last night?

In the street.

No, not in this cold.

They say it's not cold yet.

But I think it's cold...

Ice in the streets.

Lots of snow.

There's no more room at the bunker.

- I don't like it. - You don't like the bunker?

- Nobody does. - I don't want to go there any more.

If you can't get in one day, I'll sleep with you in the street.

You can't, it's too cold.

- I'd rather stay with him outside. - They won't let you.

When a cop sees you sleeping in the street,

he'll give you a fine.

- A fine? - Yes.

On top of not letting you sleep in a shelter,

they fine you?

I've had lots of them.

How long did you live in Spain?

In Spain? 12 years.

- And you? - 7 years.

Before that

I was in Africa, in Mauritania.

I owned a shop.

- How did that go? - Very well.

What happened?

I saw people coming back from Europe.

They had cars...

Nice houses.

I also wanted to go to Europe, to Spain.

I lost everything to come here.

You're wandering about, one day here, one day there.

I lost everything.

- I can't go home like that. - Empty-handed.

It really hurts me.

What if your mother knew you were in the street?

She doesn't know.

Whenever we call home, we say everything's fine.

But we're in deep shit!

I left home 12 years ago.

No wife, no child, nothing.

She's falling in love with you.

You're always joking! Just stop it!

Look at our situation! All you do is joke.

We're laughing, but...

We joke around to help us get through.

- We've got to! - And move ahead.

- I'm smoking. - Smoke over there then.

- I'm smoking here. - With me?

- I'm smoking here. - Uncle, just drop it...

- I'm smoking here! - Stop talking, Uncle.

I can deal with him immediately.

- In the name of the Prophet. - Yes.

- He can go screw himself. - It's okay.

Uncle, this life is no life at all.

Move to the other side of the barrier!

There are women!

You want them to sleep inside? So move to the other side.

Step back, otherwise we'll be back in an hour.

This isn't your place. Step back!

Step back! Back!

Wherever you put yourself, it's the same.

Evening.

Now the women.

Don't do the same old thing every night.

You can come in with him, but not tomorrow.

- My son's over there. - We'll see.

- Ladies first. - Don't push.

- How many? - 15.

- Evening. - Evening Diamond.

Not you. Wait.

We were the first ones here.

If you yell, you won't get in. Shut up.

You're in. You two, wait here.

No, not you either.

I'm not looking at you. Let me do my job!

I'm here! I'm here!

Take 4 to 6...

No, you're not coming in.

Don't push!

I'll throw you all out! Don't start!

Sorry! Please. You're an animal.

You have no respect.

Don't push. What's that?

Why are you pushing?

That guy isn't a good person.

- It's not good. - He takes whoever he pleases.

- He chooses and then leaves. - Yes, all this is his fault.

It's always the same problem. You go behind or they won't open.

So get behind the barrier.

Don't push. Easy.

It's not good to push.

Call him now.

When he comes out, don't move.

Please.

Sorry, it's closed tonight. Thank you.

- What did he say? - That it's closed.

Oh, life... Life isn't easy.

It's finished, Switzerland! Too many problems.

Honestly...

You know why I want to weigh anchor?

- You want to...? - I want to weigh anchor!

- Weigh anchor. - Yes.

Weigh anchor means... Someone...

- I want to quit. OK? - Yes.

Why? Because...

What I have seen here isn't humane.

Such as?

- You sleep outside. - Yes.

- Before, you have to pay 5 francs. - Yes.

- You have to stay 2 hours in the cold. - Yes.

- You don't eat lunch. - That's right.

Your means don't allow you to eat.

You don't get work, because they demand a lot of papers.

You need to get an authorization to work. B permit.

I don't know. C Permit, permit...

What's that?

Bureaucracy, it's too much.

Now I'm here.

Without 5 francs, I can't get in for the night.

Even if you have 5 francs, there is no room.

That's the thing.

I'm serious, honest.

I don't want to steal, I don't want to beg.

"Give me 5 francs, 10 francs!" No.

Then there's the discrimination. I don't want to.

- This is the 21st century. - True.

We are supposed to live together.

They make things so difficult to make you leave.

The swiss system.

They don't want you here, you're a nuisance.

They put a spoke in your wheel.

- My experience here... - Yes.

No, that's the limit.

- They do it on purpose. - That's right.

They discourage me so I leave the country.

That's what I'm going to do.

CONFERENCE ROOM SOCIAL SERVICES OF LAUSANNE

Morning!

The City of Lausanne has decided to ask the City of Geneva

how their card system works.

Mr. Boutillier will explain. Thanks for being here.

This tool allows you to organize evenings, people's presence.

It's visual and intuitive.

It allows you to distribute the cards to users

who will feel better knowing that they'll have a bed

for 2 weeks or 5 days. It's to their advantage.

We can't find solutions for 6 months.

But their situation is improved.

In Geneva, some were happy to receive a card.

It gave them a kind of identity.

- What's the red one for? - It's a sanction.

For someone whose behavior is inappropriate

or even violent...

- Like the guy on Monday. - Really unacceptable.

For the smooth running of the shelter,

you can sanction a person.

You click and for example a sanction of 3 days.

Day 5, 6 and 7.

Watch! He loses his booking.

But only in case of really bad behavior.

BOOKING CENTRAL

- Somebody speak French here? - A little. German very well.

You know why you need this card?

You know why you're getting a card today?

- To avoid all the jostling tonight. - I see!

You come along at 21.45, no jostling with this card.

We'll take a picture of the lady.

With a pretty smile.

Very good.

Date of birth... 1972.

- Do you have children here? - 2 weeks.

- Do you have children here? - Here in Lausanne, yes.

Since the 12th? 12 November?

Will your children come here?

Your children. Are your children here?

- A 10-year-old daughter. - In Spain.

You prefer "La Marmotte" or the "CP Shelter"?

- La Marmotte. - Fine.

Here's your beautiful card.

- Isn't it pretty? - Thanks.

A reservation for 15 days, is that okay?

No, 15.

15 days, right?

I don't know.

We need 2 pinfolds. One for...

- Don't say "pinfold". - But they are.

- Stop it! - You stop it. They're pinfolds.

- Right, they are. - I'll put you in a pinfold!

They're not cattle, but...

- Sections! - Yes, much better!

You, an army man! Disgraceful!

- Yes! - No!

There should be 2. One here and one further away.

It's raining! Let's move it in a bit.

No card? Over here, in this case.

You may not get in, understand?

If you didn't get your cards that's your problem.

I'm italian. I don't understand.

- English. - We'll say it in english later.

The card for the shelter.

Not your identity papers. The card... we'll see later.

You have the card for the shelter?

"CP Shelter", fine. Come in.

- Perfect. Thanks. - Excuse me, sir...

You'll have to wait here for the time being.

Manage to grab the bag?

Much better to put 33 in here.

- Got the card? - Here!

Perfect like that! Lovely!

- I'm wet all over. - So am I.

- Hey, where's my card? - I'm holding it in my hand.

- Where is my card? - Here.

- No! - I've special instructions.

- He has no card. - What's going on?

You all want to sleep outside? You're a pain in the neck!

We give you cards and you're busting our balls. Go over there.

- You handle it. - Don't say a word.

- I won't. - Otherwise you go inside.

I won't, just get on with it.

- Evening, sir. - Evening.

145.

- Dimitri Danciu. - He's not here.

- Hi, Danciu! - 144.

- Thanks. - Who's next?

- The door is cold... - 127.

- Where's the card? - He's old.

- He needs a card. - You'll need a card.

A card tomorrow!

- Next time, less small change. - No more small change!

- 4, 4.50... - I'll count it afterwards.

I'll go to Romania for X-mas. You'll give me your address!

- No problem. - You invite me to Romania?

I'll invite you to my house, I'll give you food and drink.

I'll give you my address, but don't touch my wife!

- Is your wife pretty? - Don't touch!

- You already had 3 pieces. - No, I didn't.

- Look at your belly. - No, watch TV.

- No. Pull your stomach in. - A little piece.

You already had 3.

Afterwards, I'll say: "Mrs. Julie is pretty and kind."

I don't care. You can say I'm mean and ugly.

- Your last name... - Sow.

Amadou...

We'll mention the type of work you're looking for.

- Your work experience. - Yes.

And your education.

You want to earn some money to get back home.

- That's right. - If you can.

If I earn a bit, I'll go home.

I hope you'll find something.

With a bit of luck...

Got a question, you two.

It's been decided: 60 people. Can you do it?

- I think so, no problem. - Without another watchman.

- That's what we do already. - What with this cold weather,

we increased to over 50.

I'm not quite sure. Will it work or not?

For me, it's OK. If it's OK for you...

60 is the limit, not one more.

- No worries. - Well, you know...

big worries are sometimes necessary.

What are you having for Christmas dinner?

Yesterday, foie gras and oysters.

I opened 60 oysters.

Foie gras and then we had Japanese Hotpot.

- That's great. - With mini Yule logs.

Tonight: foie gras and beef tenderloin with morels.

I don't know what my daughter will cook tomorrow.

Sunday: foie gras, oysters, pork roast and potato gratin.

And Wednesday, hospital, emergency triple bypass.

No! Why?

The angels in our countryside

Are singing the hymn of heaven

And the echo of our mountains

Made this song melodious

Gloria in excelsis Deo

The women went in without us.

Open the door!

Give us a bottle of wine.

Pass it below. I can't bend over.

- Oh no, not that! - It's okay.

It's the champagne for midnight.

Give us a bottle of red!

We'll switch off the gas and get them inside.

Evening, how are you?

Hey, girls, tasting good!

Happy New Year!

God will help us all.

Happy New Year, Bîrta.

José, raise your glass!

Happy New Year and good luck to all!

Once a year, we can break poverty!

- Patrick Vuillemin speaking. - Hello.

- Hello Mr. Sow. - Hello, how are you?

- How are you? - Fine.

After our last discussion,

I received confirmation on your situation.

I'll send you a letter

that says you can work with us.

That we're offering you a job.

After that, you'll have to ask the authorities

for a work permit and then we'll wait for their reply.

- Very good. - Perfect, have a nice day.

- Thanks. - Bye. See you soon!

Thanks.

Listen!

Those who have today's cards come in first.

The others stay at the back.

This isn't valid. The problem is that it's not you.

- Juan, how many? - 26, 27, 28, 29...

Everybody says: "Please!" Are we 50?

Close the door. We'll be back.

Help me. I don't know whom to choose.

Her husband is here. She's crying. What shall I do?

That's not fair!

It's not only for you that this is unfair.

- Go over there. - Sorin, please!

Go over there. It's over.

"It isn't fair..." He's always in.

- Let's increase the entries. - How many are left?

- He'll take 6 more. - OK.

And how to choose them?

- His decision. - Step back, please.

I can't do anything. We'll put the barrier back.

Your wife is inside. Come in.

You too.

When will you collect the money?

The man with the moustache? Zoltan?

Trajan, please.

- Let him in, please. - I don't know yet.

- Everyone's in. He's a minor. - No problem.

They let in those whom they know, the others stay out.

- You're a minor. How old? - 16 years.

- Got papers to prove it? - Yes.

- Is that him? - Yes.

And... two more...

- Let's take... - He was first.

A few Africans. We only took Roma.

- I've never slept here before. - You two!

This time we're closing for sure.

It's over. Sorry.

We're leaving.

They ate quietly. They're pleased.

- How did it go? - Just fine.

- They had 3 servings. - Tough letting them in.

- Seeing people arrive and telling... - "You, you..." You know what?

You did it the worst possible way.

When there are 60, just choose 45 and leave

instead of going back out and choose 3.

- Who are you to choose? - Yes, who are you?

- What's the... - Yep...

I don't have that many!

- I can't get 25 out. - They're 15.

If I get 15 blankets out, there won't be any left.

- Should they be returned? - No, they can keep them.

- They're a bit angry. - I understand.

Take them... Wait... Share them between you.

I have no more blankets. You two! Share them!

- Are you together? - No, we're not.

Well, off you go.

I'm sorry.

- Good night. - But where?

I don't know, but...

- Station? - The station...

- It's closed. - Maybe in a parking lot

or in a bar, have a drink...

How many coffees will I have to drink tonight?

- Hello. - Hello.

- Hello, smart ass! - What's going on?

- Not happy? - No.

It was tough again last night.

Even if we're full, they protest anyway.

Those without valid cards didn't understand

that they couldn't come in.

But they were told...

- The system's in place. - We're observing it.

We have to.

Those who don't want to understand,

who know they can't come in, well, tough luck.

It's like getting to the station

and the train's full or has left.

- You just wait on the platform. - That's not the problem.

We've been lacking space for years and you invest money

in a useless program. We need more beds.

- It's not useless. - Just to sort the crap a bit better.

- That's what it's for. - No.

Remember the "cold emergency" plan?

At how many degrees below 0° does one die?

No, that's not it. It's how many days...

- 3 days below 0°. - Right.

3 days below 0°?

- 3 nights. - Today it's minus 11°.

Tomorrow, 5 or 6 degrees below. Friday plus 8°!

- So, it doesn't work. - No, that's not it.

How many people do you need to open for 3 days?

Not worth it. If we know that it's going to be cold, like last year,

we'll do things in two different ways.

Either we open for 70 people...

We're not going to open for 20 people.

I get your drift, but it makes me shiver.

But it's the way to handle it.

It's all very well...

We used to open for 25 people.

- Now it's 50. - That's all hot air.

Now there are 20 more.

Then there'll be 70... People will think:

"There's room in Lausanne! Let's go there!"

And once we're at 100?

We won't get there. It's 70 at the most.

When would you like a place?

- The same as the person before you? - Yes.

Alright.

- 1 day? - 25 and 26, 2 days.

2 days.

- He's got to be joking! - Just drop it.

2 nights.

If you don't want to, you don't want to.

We're not going to stay for just 2 days.

You want those 2 nights or not?

2 nights? Okay for the 25th and 26th.

25 and 26, at the shelter.

How about tonight?

There's nothing I can do. It's full.

I can't give you anything.

All booked... Completely full.

I have no solution for tonight.

What will we do for those 2 days?

I don't know. I've no solution.

You've no heart. Can't you look at people?

It's not that I don't have a heart.

I'm just trying to fill in the vacancies.

There are none until Tuesday 11.

- 4 days out? I'll die. - It's fully booked.

You'll have to find another solution...

Stay with friends...

- I've no friends. - What do you usually do?

- I sleep in the street. - I see.

I'm really sorry, we're full up.

- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday... - Yes, from Wednesday

you can return to the CP shelter.

I hope you'll find a solution.

- See you soon. Cheer up. - Bye.

- Hello Mom? - Hello Amadou?

- How are you? - Fine.

- You're in bed? - No, not yet.

- I thought you were asleep. - And how are you?

As usual.

- Still security officer? - That's right.

Very good.

If you can't get the papers sorted, you'd better come home.

That's what I really want you to do.

I've told you so many times.

But you must understand me.

I will never be able to understand you.

All I want is for you to come back.

You must come back this year.

Come back so I can see you again.

Before I die.

We pray for you day and night.

- Thanks. Speak to you tomorrow. - Good luck.

It's a bit less cold.

I'll switch the engine on to warm you up.

Wait, I'll get the bag.

Wake up.

I went and got breakfast.

- Your shoes. - Stretch your legs.

I'm looking for Resa's shoes.

Hello!

Already awake?

Our children are waking up.

We arrived at the bunker late. They didn't take us.

Quick, we got to go. Zuca!

We're late already.

Oh my daughter...

Come out or I'll eat your bum!

- Get hold of the sleeve. - Yes.

Prepare some bread and butter.

- Look what I've made. - The bread is dry.

It's from the bunker.

Eat, my girl.

Zuca, come and eat.

Lausanne Station, Lausanne-Flon.

And then?

Riponne.

Riponne-Béjart.

I mispronounce it because I've lost a tooth.

I used to pronounce everything well.

Now I mispronounce things.

I lisp.

There's more snow here than in Romania!

Girls, wait until the traffic light changes.

Now.

May Jesus and Mary give you good health.

Go and ask your dad to give you something.

You don't drive very well.

Stop it!

God will help me win this race.

I'll make you so pretty that God will punish you!

You're pretty! Close your mouth.

- What are you doing? - We made up our faces.

I've taken everything off.

- Come and get warm. - This is what I earned in one hour.

In one hour. That's how much I got.

In one hour.

70, 80 cents... 2 francs 90.

I'm tired, Mom.

There's nothing I can do as long as we're out.

They'll open soon, then we can sleep.

Don't push me. I'm holding a little girl.

Leave him. Come!

Leave him! May he catch cancer!

Getting in is always difficult.

The Blacks are very aggressive.

Forget it. They have no brains.

Evening. We're full.

- No room, we're full. - What? I'll sleep here.

But how to warm up?

- There's an air vent over there... - A what?

An air vent giving out warm air. So you're nice and warm.

It's over for me. Tomorrow I'll take the train.

Go to Italy, then Tunis, it's over.

Understand, sir? We're full. No more room.

But where will I sleep?

All Africans...

All Europeans are in, but not the Africans.

Why?

- We're full! - That's Switzerland!

You'll get your arm broken...

Remove your arm or it'll stay in the door.

- He's crazy. - Faggot.

Sleep where?

Morning, Helena.

Morning, Henri.

Time to wake up!

Good morning. Who's this?

Come and have breakfast. Coffee and all the rest.

Morning, Helena.

You alright? Coming to have breakfast?

It's getting late.

Okay Henri, slept well?

Time to wake up! Take the sheets out.

- Helena! - Yes, I'm here.

Time to get up!

Please make an effort.

Helena, it's 8 o'clock.

You'll see, it'll backfire.

- Morning. - Hello.

- Hi, Dani. - What's that mess?

- What mess? - In the kitchen.

- They want their cell. - They'll do that outside.

- Already told you a thousand times. - They're just here.

- Don't start... - Sorry.

I'm not angry, it's just that I tell you every day.

- But what is it? - I keep telling you.

- No one in the kitchen. - It's all wrong.

I did everything but 2 people were here.

You yell even before saying hello. It's a pleasure to see you!

I said: "No one in here."

I was working. They were just there, not partying.

We did everything great.

I checked, swept... And you pester me for a trifle!

- Stop busting my balls. - Come with me.

You can be so heavy-handed!

We got up in time, did everything the way you want.

- Let us finish our job. - I've just arrived...

When you arrive, the people live here. We won't hide away.

I did the rounds this morning.

- What are you doing? - Picking up 20 cts.

For Christ's sake!

- Evening, sir. - A tuna sandwich.

Got one left. Here!

- Thanks. - Enjoy your meal.

SOUP KITCHEN

- Enjoy your meal. - Thanks.

- That's good. - Yep.

I've found a boss here.

He has put in a request that says:

"I'm the director of such company...

and I want to hire Amadou."

He is doing all the paperwork.

- You can work once you have the permit? - Yes.

- That's good, isn't it? - 2 months...

I've been waiting for 2 months.

I can't work here without it.

I don't have a card.

So if this guy isn't going to call me,

all I can do is...

- The street. - Right.

Where is your wife?

To be honest, I don't know.

She went away with a girl who lives here.

She just left you like that?

She dropped me after 2-3 pitfalls.

If at least she'd left me for a job.

"I've a job, I've an interview".

But to go to a disco with some friends?

Let's hope she won't get lost.

It's sad. We had other projects.

But in this difficult situation, isn't that the problem?

Being out in the street? Yes.

It's part of the problem.

It's not the only one.

Being out in the street,

having no savings, no money coming in.

no possibility to relax, no roof to sleep under.

Stress and fatigue accumulate.

There's a proverb:

"When hunger strikes at the door, love leaves by the window."

That's what's happening.

Don't you have a house to sleep in?

My first time sleeping outside in Europe.

My first time.

Gentlemen, you must leave. Or I'll call the cops.

- Why? - You can't come in, you must leave.

People work here. You've got to leave.

Gentlemen! I'll call the cops.

I give you 5 minutes.

She'll call the cops.

Let's grab our stuff and leave.

I'll sort the bags out.

- Morning. - I'm okay, and you?

Slept well?

- You okay? - Yes.

- What about you? - Sure and you? Slept well?

- Morning. - Morning.

Before leaving, one of you should clean this.

The cigarettes... The garbage is here.

Oh, isn't this just great! So great!

I won't see your face any more, I'm so happy.

- I'll offer you the apero, you asshole. - If you knew how happy I am.

- Not yet... - Got time for a drink?

- You'd better. - Yes.

Yep... it's over.

- So... - Let's do it!

- Let's get it done. - Right!

This... out!

Out!

LIFE ELSEWHERE

Sign here. "José returned the keys".

- You want them this year? - Yes.

- I'm asking you. - Sure, if you give them to me.

- Under 2-3 conditions. - Conditions!

- As to conditions, there's one thing... - There are no conditions.

You think we'll be open all year round?

- No. - Perfect.

You know why?

I was at home and it felt strange to come here

in such nice spring weather.

Yesterday, I went to Sauvabelin to fire a shot.

- What day yesterday? - Sunday.

- Yes. And the date? - 14th.

What's on April 14?

Enlighten me...

The Canton of Vaud joined the Swiss Confederation! In 1803.

- We sang the Vaudois anthem. - The Vaudois anthem?

People of Vaud, a new day is dawning

The Vaudois anthem...!

- You also dance to it? - No.

- Patrick Vuillemin speaking. - Hello...

- Hello. - How are you?

- Is this Mr. Sow? - Yes, it is.

Here's the situation... I called the employment office...

- Yes. - Right.

Mr. Sow, have you received the decision from the authorities?

- I did. - Alright.

It was not possible for us to discuss the matter...

To have you work here.

We're not going to file an appeal, it isn't worth it...

It would mean administrative procedures

and it would take time. You'll be in limbo...

- Yes. - I really regret this decision.

Unfortunately, you will have to leave Switzerland.

Yes.

I wish you good luck for the future

and that you'll find a job either in Spain or in your country.

Yes, thanks.

- Let's remain like that? - Yes. Thanks.

- Goodbye Mr. Sow, all the best. - Goodbye.

THE SHELTER by Fernand Melgar - Duration: 1:38.

You can't all come in.

Don't push, please!

What do you want me to do?

No, you're not coming in!

From the director of The Fortress and Special Flight

I like Nicolae a lot.

I'm doing what I can.

THE SHELTER

You did it the worst possible way.

When there are 60, just choose 45 and leave

instead of going back out and choose three.

Who are you to choose?

I slept in the street.

No, not in this cold.

When you sleep in the street,

they'll give you a fine.

A fine?

I'm tired, Mommy.

There's nothing I can do as long as we're out.

They're a bit angry.

Share them between you. I have no more blankets.

- If it's cold, should we increase... - No! It's 70 people at the most.

We're done with that.

- What? - You're the oldest...

And you're the ones who disobey most.

Our wives went in without us.

Polarity Of Life & Pale Origins // Tour 2017 - Duration: 19:50.

We'll probably encounter on things like this when on the road...

...and like this...

Fuckyeah!

Our Batmobile is ready to go, now we just have to wait for Adrian to dry his laundry (oh yeah, this dude is actually home right now and drying his laundry, priorities right?).

This guy is Denis, our driver!

Hi Denis!

Dario, we are in need of your GOAT tetris skills, we fucked up with the gear positioning...

Dario: I'll kill this shit.

(Sven with some first world drummers problems, how many snares do I need and stuff like that.)

We're finally done with loading in.

This is ideal.

IDEAL!

Pile, give me some of that drama hand and change the camera view.

And Pile drives in with the poster dunk!!

Update no.1: So, we're packed in and ready to go...

...But the van isn't! Electric systems went off, HAHA!

Andrej: Adrian, what do you think about this situation?

Adrian: I think that this is awful. (you don't want to hear the whole translation, dude still thinkin' about his laundries and talking nonsence, man concentrate...)

Wise man said: Every good tour needs to start with something like this.

...and we're still here...

Pile: And I think we're gonna stay here for a while more...

Miro: I'm trying to make time jokes (not the real translation, but doesn't matter, If you listen closely, you'll be able to hear Tukić trying to speak German, this is the moment when we started trippin')

(here we started trippin')

And we're in Romania wooohoo!

Romania - for those who do not know or do not want to know, is placed just around the Trešnjevka block in Zagreb.

Believe it or not!

Say something in German.

Tukić: "Was?"

Well WAS the fuck?! Some crazy Romanian miners are coming out of the pit, we don't know them but they look cool AF so we called them to hang around with us 'till the end of the tour.

SWEET

So, it's 12 P.M. and we are 3 hours late in schedule, but still thinking positive.

(here's the example)

Sven: It's OK guys, we weren't even in a hurry...

Dario: Hey guys, where is my bag? (this is a classic one) Please let me check the van once more.

(this is an actual footage of 2 guys baby talking to a new GoPro model)

Dario: You are some kind of a new model?

Andrej: You are a newie newiee model aaa?

abubububbuublblblbllblblb

Where are we now? Pile: Got no idea man. (still stylish af)

CALIFORNIA LOOOVE

Sven: Man I got no money here, you got some bro? Adrian: WOOOUAAHH WHAT'S UP!? (probably thinkin' what's up with his laundry, are the socks dry or becoming greasy) No maaan, but Dario owes me 50.

Go Miro!

Here's our driver. (doesn't sound like one for sure)

We're alive!

(a sight to behold)

Dario accidentally invented a new Superman pose, we call it "The Zagorski Superman" pose.

(this is just some Croatian rubbish, like random questions that don't make sense in any other language, no need for translation)

(now it's starting to make sense)

Ivan: Come here.

Hey, come look at this bro. Look at this tittie! OOOOOOO

This is our pharmacy shop.

Das ist das.

This one is better then the other one.

Cause the other ones cost 8 kunas. (laughing and cursing in Croatian, everyday shit)

This is Pile.

This is where the new grooves are coming from.

Rythm section is doing wonders on this stuff.

We already made two songs on that shit yeah.

Yeah, actually, we joined forces and will release an album on Christmas day.

We'll be covering some Christmas songs (this is the proper time to turn of the camera).

Tour update no. 3!

Those Romanian motherfuckers can really drink, fuck man, they can drink a lot (He wanted to prove that he can drink more of what ever the fuck we drank that night than the Romanian dudes... At least he tried!).

But wait no, we can drink more! (still believes)

Look at Miro!

What do we have here?

We have a fucking Romanian drunk!

FUCK!

And we have a fucking Croatian drunk here, but he's on the table!

(just listen to that background YEAH FUCK, isn't it the most happiest yeah fuck you ever heard in your life?)

Tour update no.4 (iaaaa) - Andrej is drunk as hell.

Andrej, can you say something for the camera? Andrej: Naaa.

(what you'll be seeing next is a bunch of drunk dudes trying to speak english and amuse the taxi driver - amuse the driver, get the lowest fare hehehe)

(titles are worthless here, literally there is nothing you can do but to listen and try to stay calm, just listen to these drunk fuckers)

Hey man say goodbye for the end!

C'mon man, give me some dance!

Who wants some coffee guys?

(I want some, I want some, I want some!!)

You want some coffee? COFFEE

We need to return the glasses and wash everything that's left in the kitchen sink, get it? (while I'm comfortably lying in my bed and THINKIN' 'BOUT MY LAUNDRY)

I don't want coffee anymore.

And yeah, we're not getting that free coffee (BUT THEY PROMISED) in the hostel. Guy at the reception said that the coffee machine is fucked up.

Well, we'll fuck up all of your glasses and cups you pussy! (this is so metal \m/)

(still in the mood for fucking up his cups)

Man it's hard you know, this tour life...

You're always tired...

Nervous...

But it's fucking good.

Vuco on Romanian!

This is for our Spiritual Leader, one and only, Vuco!

1,2,3!

She threw it all down the river (just a Croatian song, nothing to worry about)...

Here we are in Hungary!

Hi Hungary!

Are you Hungary??? Adrian: What do you think about the people here?

I do not know a, I am a Japanese!

Are you Hungary?

I have a cuttlefish.

In my pocket!

It's a japaneseru one.

Get inside the careru so we can go!

Pile: What a drunk monkey.

Drunkuru ape?

And they are finally together once again, brother Monkeys, behold to the Crappy on the left and the Drunken to the right!

We are the Monkey brothers yeah.

I'm really not Japanese hehe, I just like the rice.

I'm travelling with pigs...

I'm done man, this is it, I'm fucked up... Done.

Miro! What were you doing?

(when playing drums, he transforms himself into a Sub-Miro)

MIRO JE SVIRO. (LEARN THIS SHIT)

Variables can be changed.

The constants stay the same and become new variables at each convergence point.

And then new constants are declared.

I can fix it, i just...

You can't fix anything unless you can travel between convergence points.

Yes I am afraid, and yes I'm fearful || How to deal with fear of failure with Lakshay Behl - Duration: 8:05.

Let's talk about fear of failure today.

It's a very real fear.

Almost everything you want to achieve in life, that you want to accomplish in life has been

done by someone else.

Somebody else has already achieved what you want to achieve.

Somebody else has already done what you want to do.

And since they've already done it, there is most definitely a clear path that you can

follow to achieve whatever it is that you want to achieve.

However when you haven't done something… when you're embarking on a new journey…

when you have something new to say to the world or do in the world… something that

you've never done… something that anybody close to you has never done… you're going

to get nervous.

And that's basically normal.

I feel that fear too.

This year I'm going to embark on a big journey to change very many things in my life.

And to tell you the truth I am nervous.

Okay?

I'm pretending not to be.

I'm not showing it.

I'm not telling my family (especially my family) and certainly not the prospective clients

or prospective business partners that I'm nervous.

But I am worried.

I'm worried about losing money.

I am worried about wasting time.

I'm also worried about wasting so much effort.

And one of the most dangerous aspects of this journey is that I stand to lose my ability

to travel the world when I want to.

So basically it's my freedom on the line.

And that scares the shit out of me to tell you the truth.

It is what it is.

You can't do anything about it.

It's a new thing.

I've never done this before.

And part of me wants to quit.

Part of me wants to just run away.

Part of me just wants to cancel the plans I've already put into motion.

And to go back to the life that I'm already leading.

It's a scary change.

In fact, last night I considered and contemplated something along the lines of, "Maybe I can

wait another six months or eight months or 12 months or 24 months before I embark on

this dangerous new mission… on this dangerous new journey."

And that would be nice.

I mean, if I had the ability to delay everything indefinitely… which I certainly do have,

but there are consequences.

We'll talk about the consequences of postponing it indefinitely, but the consequences would

be enormous and detrimental.

So I have decided to go on with this journey.

But last night I was really tempted to abandon this whole project and move on to, or go back

to, whatever it is that I was doing.

The only reason I can think of for actually going ahead with this is because I have to.

Sooner or later I know that I have to.

Sooner or later change the way I live now.

I've changed my life many times over the last few years but nothing as scary as this one

project.

And yet I'm going to do this because I have to, at some point of time even if I don't

do it right now.

I can choose to do it later, but I have to.

It it's something that cannot be delayed indefinitely.

I want to do this but I just really want to succeed when I do this.

I don't want to end up failing.

I do have a plan B and a Plan C and a plan D - none of which I really like.

I mean they're all practical but they are not what I want from life.

What I want from life is to take this risk and then to succeed this year.

If I don't I will really have to go back to living the kind of life I have been living

which is what I'm not looking forward to.

So the reason why I'm scared of taking the first step or starting this journey is the

fear of failure.

And more importantly, the fear of loss of hope.

If I lose then I will know for sure that that plan was not solid enough.

That strategy was not good enough.

I don't know that now and that's a little bit of a ray of hope that I'm clinging on

to.

And deep down that's what I want to keep clinging on to when I want to delay this project or

think about delaying this project.

I'm clinging on to the hope that this will work whenever I put this into action.

I'm worried about finding out that it actually doesn't work.

That actually my strategy isn't as brilliant as I think it's going to be.

Or as I'm hoping it's going to be.

That actually my big plan for life is really a fluke.

I've been banking on something that is a nothing-burger.

That actually I'm going to be found out for not knowing what I was talking about… by

family, friends, clients, prospective clients and everybody… people that matter.

So yes, it's scary.

This time I can really be going to lose it in real terms.

Real consequences are on the horizon if I fail… and if I succeed.

But then I think about it and I think about how two years or three years or four years

down the line things are only going to be slightly better but not much better.

I'm going to have the same chance or a similar chance but not a significantly greater chance

at succeeding.

I may not even have a revised strategy.

And I can always revise my strategy while I'm in the thick of it.

I can make changes on the fly and I can do that now.

So yes, I'm going to go ahead.

Yes I'm going to risk all that failure.

And yes I'm going to risk consequences not just for myself but also for my business and

my family.

And I'm going to do that despite the fact that I'm scared I'm really scared of losing

this time.

Because the consequences are real.

It's not like I'm going to sit in my basement start a business and I'm going lose a little

bit of time and money if I fail.

This time I stand to lose a lot more than that.

I stand to lose all my savings.

I stand to lose a lot of my equity.

I stand to lose most of my net worth.

I stand to lose my freedom to travel.

I stand to lose a whole lot of stuff if I do this.

But I'm going to do it anyway.

So yeah that's it that's what I wanted to talk to you about today.

That last night was a difficult night.

I actually could not go to sleep until 5:00 a.m. this morning.

And I woke up at 1:00 p.m. and then I got dressed.

did a little bit of work, talked to a client and then now I'm talking to you.

And throughout my contemplation during the night and during the day I have arrived at

the same conclusion…

That logically it doesn't make sense to back away from it now.

Emotionally it does because I'm scared shitless.

But logically it doesn't.

Thank God I'm an okay actor - a decent actor.

So nobody's gonna find out how nervous I really am.

And to tell you the truth once I jump into it once I get some of that momentum going…

that nervousness is going to start melting away.

And after the first couple of weeks I'm not going to feel very nervous at all.

Right now I'm nervous because I've not started anything.

I've not got any momentum on my side.

I've got detractors who got some very valid points.

I've got real stuff on the line.

And yeah this is just scary.

This is just scary.

I'm trying not to talk myself out of it, but yeah, I will do it.

There's no way to stop me from doing this now.

Because I'm just going to put one step in front of another.

I'm just going to start with one step.

And then see where things go.

If I fail, I fail.

I lose a lot but I will still survive.

And that's all there is to it.
