5 Homemade Foot Odor Remedies

Certain natural ingredients can help fight food odors and the sweat and bacteria that cause them.

Having foot odor is an embarrassing problem that most people will unfortunately experience at some point in their lives. It's caused by certain types of bacteria coming into contact with the skin, along with sweat and dirt, which can happen without warning.

While there are plenty of products that help keep your feet dry and smelling clean, some additional "help" is sometimes required to make that odor go away once and for all. That's why this article provides you some effective homemade treatments you can use along with talcum and other commercial products.

Try them all! 1-Aloe vera and tea tree oil Aloe vera gel contains antimicrobial and moisturizing compounds that help eliminate the bacteria caused by foot odor.

This remedy will prevent foot fungus from appearing due to being combined with the antibacterial and refreshing powers of tea tree oil.

Ingredients 3 tablespoons of aloe vera gel (45 g) 6 drops of tea tree oil Preparation Mix the aloe vera gel and tea tree oil in a small bowl.

How to apply it Apply this treatment to your feet and leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes.

Rinse with warm water.

Repeat every day until the smell goes away completely.

2-Sage and oats You can eliminate the sweat and bacteria residues that cause unpleasant foot odors by combining the deodorizing power of sage along with the absorption properties of oats.

Ingredients 3 sage leaves 3 tablespoons of oatmeal (30 g) Preparation Crush the sage leaves and mix with the oats.

How to apply it Spread this product inside your smelly shoes and leave it there for at least 12 hours.

Repeat until the odor is gone.

3-Horsetail grass The deodorizing and antibacterial powers of horsetail grass are perfect for keeping the feet clean and free from strong odors.

Using this in the bathroom is relaxing and also improves circulation and reduces fatigue.

Ingredients 3 tablespoons of horsetail grass (45 g) 2 cups of water (500 ml) Preparation Add the water and horsetail grass to a pot.

Heat it to a simmer for five minutes and wait for it to cool.

When it reaches a suitable temperature, pour this mixture into a large bowl.

How to apply it Soak your feet in the liquid for 20 minutes.

Repeat this application two to three times a week.

4-Rosemary Rosemary is a plant that has astringent properties to alter the environment that microorganisms use to proliferate. Its use will reduce the number of fungi and bacteria, while also softening any areas that could become calluses.

Ingredients 3 tablespoons of dried rosemary (45 g) 2 cups of water (500 ml) Preparation Bring the water and rosemary to a boil over low heat for three to five minutes.

Cover and allow this mixture to steep for 10 minutes.

Filter the liquid into a large bowl.

How to apply it Soak your feet in the liquid or apply it to certain areas using a spray bottle.

Repeat every day.

5-Baking soda and lemon oil This natural deodorant helps regulate the skin's pH to prevent the growth of bacteria that can cause infections and stenches. Its absorbent properties eliminate sweat while it exfoliates to remove dead skin cells and other impurities.

Ingredients 3 tablespoons of baking soda (30 g) 6 drops of lemon oil Water (as needed) Preparation Pour the baking soda into a bowl and add the lemon essential oil.

Use enough water to make a paste.

How to apply it Apply this paste to your feet, including the areas between your toes, and leave it on for 20 minutes.

Rinse with warm water and repeat at least three times a week.

If you prefer, you can apply the dry mixture without adding water to the insides of your shoes.

SP 661 LF harvester head on Rottne H21D in heavy spruce logging - Duration: 5:39.

Here are trees in the size of 2-3 cubic meters each.

Average is for sure over 1 cubic meter/trunk

The head is mounted at a Rottne H21 so there are power enough

to fell, feed and handle the trees

So, come on and let's se how it works!

This is SPs new 661LF head which is slightly smaller than the big SP 761LF head

But larger than the 561LF which is a common head in Sweden.

There are some few 761-heads working in Sweden, some of them mounted at H21s like this

But this size of head will be better matched for final felling in Sweden.

Big enough for rough spruce logging but not as heavy as the 761

which is more often in use in North America and on other carriers

This head is produced in four different frame versions

This is the version with largest saw box, for a 90 cm bar

Which is needed in tough spruce logging with wide buttress

There is also a frame with smaller saw box as well as a version for eucalyptus logging

which is designed for debarking and logging of eucalyps

The fourth version has an extra top saw and it's for the North American market

How Europe Will Save Space Travel - Duration: 4:14.

Narrator: Europe is leading

one of the most important space

travel efforts of this century.

It's a mission called RemoveDEBRIS,

and if all goes according to plan,

it could save the future of space travel

as we know it.

The objective of RemoveDEBRIS is just that.

Demonstrate how we could remove

space debris that's cluttering up

Earth's orbit,

including pieces of used up rockets

and retired satellites.

Even though you can't see it from the ground,

there are more than half a million

chunks of space trash flying around

our planet,

and most of it is concentrated

in low earth orbit,

where it whips around at 28,000 kilometers

an hour.

Fast enough to fly from LA to London,

in just 19 minutes,

but here's the trouble with that.

Low earth orbit is our

front door to the universe.

To get anywhere in space,

whether it's the International Space Station,

Mars, or beyond,

we have to cross that threshold first,

but if you have a bunch of garbage

blocking your path,

it's gonna be difficult.

Even worse,

experts, like astrophysicist Donald Kessler,

fear that just one collision

between two large objects,

could seal up that opening forever,

because it would set off

a chain reaction.

One collision after another,

after another,

which could produce thousands of additional

pieces of debris.

This domino effect is called the

"Kessler Syndrome,"

after Donald Kessler himself,

and it predicts that low earth orbit

could become littered with space trash,

making it too dangerous for spacecraft

to fly through,

or also reduce their life spans

because of collisions.

That's where Europe's

RemoveDEBRIS mission comes in.

In 2018,

it successfully tested the first

of four stages of its trash

clean up technology,

and it looked like this.

This is not an illustration.

This is actually happening in space.

That's a net about the size of

a large dining room tablecloth,

ensnaring a small spacecraft

that the mission team planted

for the experiment.

Now, this was just the first

of what will, hopefully,

be many more tests,

because in the future,

we're gonna need a bigger net.

Guglielmo S. Aglietti: At the end of the day,

the final goal is to be able to

capture very large targets,

so, possibly what one of the targets

that has been mentioned, as a potential one,

is an old satellite,

Envisat,

and it is maybe the size of a bus.

Narrator: Scientists have been proposing ways

to clean up space junk

since the early 90s.

They've thought of everything,

from lasers,

to robotic claws.

But this is the first time any concept

has actually been tested in space.

The team hopes to test its other

three technologies, as well,

which involve a harpoon,

for spearing the trash,

a navigation system for analyzing the trash's

size, distance,

and rotation,

and a sail for slowing the trash down,

so it can reenter,

and burn up in Earth's atmosphere.

But all this technology isn't the reason

this mission has come closer than any

before it.

Aglietti: Everybody agrees, that to remove some of

this debris,

is the right thing to do,

but, clearly, the issue is going to be,

you know, the cost.

Narrator: The RemoveDEBRIS project has

cost 15 million euro,

or, about 17 million US dollars.

Aglietti: The current mission was sponsored

by the European community,

and, again, we had, you know,

ten partners, working on this project,

and, overall, the cost of this project

was about, you know,

€15 [million].

When you are going to do

this kind of mission,

for real,

the cost will be higher,

and, so, I think the various stakeholders

around the world,

have to get together,

and decide how such mission could

be funded.

We are talking about not just,

you know, the UK,

or, maybe, NASA, but also,

China, you know, Russia, and so on.

The problem is, again,

who is going to pay for it?

Narrator: So, Europe has taken the lead.

Today we're gonna be making a beautiful mixed

green and berry salad.

I'm Chef Cash White, and God has

delivered me from my circumstances and placed me here, so I can share my love of

food with you.

Today we're gonna be making a beautiful mixed green and berry salad.

The list of ingredients is below in the description.

Alright, so the first thing we're gonna do, I went to the grocery store and I

bought this beautiful mixture of arugula and baby spinach,

two of my favorite leafy greens.

Arugula is delicious. It's got a nice peppery flavor, and the baby

spinach in here is just nice watery green and fresh.

So we're gonna put a couple of handfuls in here, maybe about...

...about 2 cups to start.

And that's gonna be our base. We're just gonna build on top of it.

The next thing we're gonna do, we're gonna add some thinly sliced red onion.

Make sure you get all the onion paper off,

it's not a very pleasant taste.

With my red onions and salads,

what I like to do is, I like to get longer strips that are very very thin.

So I'm going to take my onion

and I'm gonna make three slices

just like that equal distance apart,

so that way each of the slices is about the same length.

I'm gonna take it and I'm gonna try to get these as thin as possible.

Beautiful. About a quarter of an onion is gonna be just enough.

Just move them around in your hand a little bit to get them separated.

Next we're gonna halve some cherry tomatoes.

You can leave them whole if you like to give you a little extra

texture they'll kind of pop in your mouth.

I like to cut them in half.

So we're gonna take about a quarter a cup of these

Just about that much.

Not a whole bunch but you know,

equal amounts, about the same amount as onion.

We're gonna take some fresh blueberries. I've already washed these.

And I'm just gonna take a handful and toss them in.

We have some fresh raspberries here.

I've also washed these.

Im gonna toss those in too.

I'm going to take about a cup of walnuts.

Just chop them up, kind of a rough chop.

Last thing, I'm gonna use a little bit of green apple.

Whenever I cut my green apple,

I always cut one side right here, lay it flat, and then cut around the core.

Makes it a lot easier to deal with.

Then I'm gonna just do a quick dice on these.

Quarter inch dice.

Now that we have all of our ingredients in the bowl,

we're gonna start on the dressing.

A cool little trick I picked up along the way

was using these things.

The things you use to make protein drinks,

with a littleshaker ball in it.

You can use them to throw together quick dressings.

It's a great little tip I learned.

I'm gonna build an apple cider vinaigrette.

I love apple cider vinegar.

It's very healthy it's good for your stomach, your digestive system,

and it's got a great flavor.

So we're gonna start with avocado oil.

I like avocado oil it has a lot of healthy fats and it's a lighter oil

with a higher smoking temperature.

So we're gonna do about three tablespoons of that.

We're gonna do two tablespoons

of the apple cider vinegar.

A three to two ratio is a good ratio on a vinaigrette.

That's oil to vinegar.

We're gonna put just a ouch of Dijon mustard.

That acts as an emulsifier.

It helps to mix up the oil in the vinegar.

We're gonna add a pinch of kosher salt.

A pinch of granulated garlic.

A pinch of Italian seasoning.

And some fresh cracked black pepper.

Screw the lid on.

Make sure this thing's closed.

You don't want this all over yourself and your kitchen.

Give it a shake.

All right. It'll come together just like that.

Looks beautiful.

We're gonna add it to our salad, tossed.

We have two more ingredients to add.

I have a couple of hard-boiled eggs here.

I always keep about six hard-boiled eggs in my refrigerator

because I like to throw them in different ingredients.

It's some added protein.

You can take the place of a meat in a recipe a lot of the times.

So we're gonna take this guy and cut it up.

I had a little bit of goat cheese left over from another recipe,

whenever we did our bruschetta recipe.

So I'm just gonna take a little bit

and I'm gonna crumble it with my hand and sprinkle it in my salad.

There you go.
