If you're a beginner instead of applying foundation directly on your face

take it first on your hands

so that neither too much nor too little foundation got applied

this concealer is my favourite

It gives a good coverage

and its tone get suits me well

don't apply it in one go apply it in little quantities

now to merge this concealer and foundation

intensity will be low if you apply it with a big brush

so first we make eyebrows

use a dark brown coloured eyebrow pencil

means its gonna to fill your eyebrows

but at the same its wouldn't give that dramatic effect to your eyebrows

for eyeshadow either you use your compact powder

or take any other similar kind of powder

and apply it first on your brow bone area

then we gonna apply brown shade

this makes blending so easy

here I am using this brush

or If you want you can apply it with your fingers

you can see the blended look we get

as already we've applied powder there

here I am gonna to highlight my brow bone

If you want you can skip this step

but this step will give your eye makeup a glowy effect

now can take any shimmery eyeshadow like golden one

so that if you don't have eyeshadow pallet

then you will be able to make eyeshadow using highlighter

I am applying it to water line

and using the same to apply the thick kajal below

along with this I am gonna to create a line to my upper lash line

just apply it in one or two strokes

Why Some Cars Have a Timing Chain Instead of a Timing Belt - Duration: 5:58.

rev up your engines, today I'm gonna talk about timing belts versus timing chains

inside your car's engine, now for most internal combustion engines the

crankshaft which the Pistons are connected to spins around and that's

connected to the camshaft which opens and closes the valves, and there's

various ways you can connect it, now a long time ago in my grandfather's day

the early engines they didn't even use timing belts or timing chains, they had

timing gears, the bottom crank had a gear and then gears went to the camshaft

which spun the camshaft and then push rods open and closed the valves, now that

was a solid reliable system, you had gears connecting them, but that two main

disadvantages, one it costs a lot of money to make good gears to put that

together and the gears themselves had a tendency of making whiny noises that

people didn't like, so then instead of having gear on gear to spin it

they decided to use a timing chain and these engine designs the crankshaft

sprocket teeth on it, then a timing chain, then another sprocket with teeth that

ran the camshaft all the old American v8 engines were made that way and some of

them are still that way, you can see these are thick hardy change this one

came off a 350 Chevrolet they're really strong they lasted off a long time but

of course it costs money to make hard steel sprockets and expensive chains

so they gave the idea of the timing belt instead of a timing chain, the pulley on

the bottom of the crank and the pulley on a camshaft was connected using a

rubber base timing belt and contrary to what people might try to tell you, the

only reason they went to tiny belts it's cuz it's cheaper to make them when you

have a sprocket that uses a timing chain it has to be really strong steel, but the

sprockets that run these rubber base timing belts they can be a lot softer

because they're just pulling rubber they're not steel, so most of the

manufacturers switched over the timing belt, now with a car like this Toyota

that's well designed a 94 Celica, those rubber timing belt sometimes could last

hundreds of thousands of miles they'd tell you to change them every one

thousand or 90 or so, they were pretty reliable in the Toyota engine and

there's one big advantage of this design almost every Toyota engine ever made is

a non-interference engine, so off the timing belt breaks the Pistons don't hit

the valve and do any damage, but when you take cars like many of the Nissans, they

were a faster engine racing design, so the Pistons went higher and the valves

came lower, so if those rubber belts ever broke when you're driving on the highway

the Pistons hit the valves they break the engine and destroy the

engine, I've seen many people in the past few decades with these timing belt Nissan's

have the belt brake ruined the engine and they said, you're telling me that this

$30.00 belt broke made out of rubber and it destroyed my engine, I'll never buy

another Nissan, well then respond to this Nissan was one of the early companies to

go from timing chains on their cars, to timing belts and then back to timing

chains, so that they wouldn't have this problem and unfortunately for Nissan and

the people who bought them, a lot of those early switchover that went from

timing belts to timing chains had problems with the timing chains cuz

Nissan made them kind of poorly, but the idea was correct and now many

manufacturers have switched back to timing chains and the main reason for that is the

higher design capacity of smaller engines, they're making smaller engines put

out more horsepower, putting variable valve timing and other things inside and

that strains the timing belt so much that the rubber timing belts would have a

tendency of breaking too often and to get added horsepower to these smaller

engines, a lot of the manufacturers had used to make non-interference engines

are now making an interference engine but since they have a sturdy steel chain

that's driving it, they don't have the problems of a rubber belt snapping, take

this matrix it's twelve years old, it's got a timing chain inside the engine

never had a problem, as quiet as can be, and runs just as good as it did when it

was brand new, because really steel chains, they beat

the heck out of a rubber base timing belt

any day of the week if the chains are made correctly, and I know some guys maybe

motorcycle guys are gonna say, but Scotty chains need lubrication well guess what

timing chain is inside the engine, it's coated with the engine motor oil it is

inside the engine, so as long as you change your engine oil regularly this

chain is lubricated with nice clean engine oil and

it can last a really long time, rubber hey it falls apart it's over time, it's going

to stretch over time and yeah a chain stretches a little over time but it

takes a lot more time and mileage to stretch solid steel than it does rubber

and sure costs a lot more money to manufacture a chain and build an engine

that way but hey, they're not giving away modern car so you're paying enough money

you really want one that's got a solid timing chain in it, because I doubt

they'll ever go back to making gear driven cams, that just costs way too much

money and as I said earlier it does make a reasonable amount of whining

noise and people want quieter cars, they don't want louder ones, now of course the

rubber base timing belts were really quiet, but in a modern engine they just

wouldn't hold up, with all those extra cams and variable valve timing and GDI

direct injection, there's a lot more pressure, a rubber belt can't take it but

a chain can, so if you're shopping around for a new car hey, I'd make

sure it had an engine with a timing chain and not one of these flimsy rubber

base timing belts, so if you never want to miss another one of my new car repair

Hey there, Neil Balthaser here and welcome to Ultramobility Reviews the channel where

you vote for the RVs that you want me to review each week.

A huge number of you have wanted me to review the SS Agile by Roadtrek for some time now

and your recent voting has finally pushed it to the top of the list.

Let's jump into this review starting with exterior where we're also going to talk about

chassis specs and hookups.

This is the short 144 inch wheelbase with a 3.0L V6 turbo diesel engine which delivers

188HP and 325 ft.-lbs of torque in a 5 speed automatic transmission which means the Agile

isn't going to have any problems getting up to speed or going up mountains.

From just an aesthetic point of view this is one of the most automotive looking vans

on the market today.

Roadtrek has gone the extra mile to clean up any RV give-aways like vents, access panels

and swoopy graphics.

I appreciate the brushed aluminum trim.

It's just very very clean looking all around.

Here I am sitting in the driver's seat and this is one of the benefits of the Sprinter

chassis: driver comfort.

I have the seat pushed all the way back and I'm 5'10" and have my arms fully extended

to reach the steering wheel.

Speaking of which the steering wheel can both tilt and telescope.

If you're a taller driver you're going to be able to find a comfortable seating position

on this coach.

Moving along the driver's side: look how clean this side is.

There are absolutely no vents whatsoever and that's because this particular coach is upgraded

to the Alde diesel heating system which eliminates both the hot water heater access panel AND

any heating exhaust.

The only access panel you have here is the outdoor shower located above the rear wheel.

Hookups however are all located down low and that includes shore power and water.

That's the tradeoff you're going to have to make in order to keep this side of the van

clear and free of access panels.

Okay let's head inside and see how this van is laid out and also go over dimensions and

other specs.

Here we see what it looks like as you walk into the van.

Directly in front of us is the galley, in the back is the rear lounge/sofa bed and directly

to our left is the bathroom.

The benefit of having the galley on the driver's side is that you get a wide open view from

the front to the back along the driver's side and just a wall of windows letting the outside

in when you first step in.

It really does create a spectacularly open feel.

Two things I want to point out: Roadtrek's incredible 6 year warranty which is the best

in the industry and the price of this van as I'm reviewing it: $125k.

That's an incredible price considering that this van has about $18k worth of upgrades

on it.

The MSRP for this van as configured for this review is $148k so we're seeing a $23k discount

right off the bat from this dealer.

Let's talk about this galley.

The first thing is: look at all that counter prep space.

I've been in much larger vans including some class B+ vans whose galleys don't have this

much working space.

And there's a rather large pull out extension that I'll show in a minute as well.

This coach has been upgraded to the induction cooktop.

Standard is a 2 burner propane stove.

Below we have a convection microwave.

I like convection microwaves because you basically get an electric oven for free.

And to the left of the microwave you have a 3.1 cu.ft. compressor refrigerator and on

this coach as we'll see in a minute we have plenty of lithium and solar power to keep

that compressor refrigerator powered up.

Storage is a little bit tight.

You do get a pull out pantry there between the microwave and refrigerator and Roadtrek

does its best to maximize all available space so you've got three drawers across the counter

- that center drawer is normally not there when there's a propane stove so that's a bonus

and above you've got two cabinets as well.

Very happy to report that the cabinets are positive locking.

That's something that you won't necessary find on coaches that are twice this price.

Let's take a closer look at this pull out counter extension.

It functions well as a counter extension but I found it a bit flimsy as an actual table

for the cab seats.

As you can see here that wooden arm that swings out to support the top isn't very secure.

Let's have a quick look at the dimensions and then talk about the electrical system.

That length of 19'5" means you're not going to have any problems parking this van in any

standard parking space and the interior height of 6'3" is measured to the bottom of the rear

air conditioning unit so plenty of head room here especially considering there's no step-ups

to reduce interior standing height.

Okay let's talk about this very capable and upgraded electrical system.

Standard you get 2 6v lead acid batteries with 2400 watts of capacity and a generous

2.5kw inverter.

You get no generator and no solar so the standard setup is a bit lacking.

You can upgrade to a 2.5KW LP generator for $4k.

But the big news here is that you can also opt for the 400ah lithium upgrade (that's

4800 watt-hrs) for $5100, a underhood generator for $3200, VoltStart for $1900 and up to 300W

of solar for $3600 ALL of which has been optioned on this coach that we're reviewing.

So this coach for $125k has a very capable electrical system.

Okay let's head on into the rear lounge/bedroom where we're also going to talk about the bathroom

and some standout features.

As a lounge, this one works great.

The sofa electrically reclines.

You've got ottomans for kicking up your feel.

It's bright and airy with windows all the way around.

Both side windows feature awning style windows that open for cross ventilation.

And there's an optional 24" LCD tv back here.

A couple things to note: The TV's armature is not positive locking unfortunately.

That means the screw lock can have a tendency to vibrate loose while driving down the road

and then the TV will start to fly about.

And, the ottoman cushions are not attached in any way so they also have a tendency to

fly about while on the road.

On the positive side I appreciate that Roadtrek includes armrests for the couch, cup holders

on either side and a set of 2 proper 3-pt seatbelts back here.

You've got plenty of overhead storage and a wardrobe closet over the passenger side

ottoman.

There's really not much to complain about this lounge.

Let's have a look at how this area performs as a bedroom.

After you electrically recline the sofa you can fill in the middle section and have one

large 69"x76" bed OR you can keep the middle section open and have a set of two twin beds.

Keeping in mind that I'm 5'10".

The twin on the driver's side is slightly longer at 76" and you should note that there

is a bit of an overhang from the kitchen counter over your feet which you may kick at night.

On the passenger's side the bed is 2 inches shorter at 74" and again you have that wardrobe

closet above your feet which you may find yourself kicking at night as well.

Because the sofa uses memory foam and the ottomans do not, the firmness on this bed

is a bit uneven and you're likely going to have to use a mattress topper to even things

out.

let's have a quick peek at some standout features and options before taking a look at the bathroom.

There are three big items here of interest.

The first and second are the induction cooktop that when paired with the Alde diesel heat

system means that this coach is propane-less.

Third, for $9000 you can opt to upgrade the chassis to the 4x4 option.

And keep in mind that this is the actual 4x4 chassis coming directly from Mercedes Benz.

Our final stop's the bathroom where we'll also see the tank sizes before I give you

my final recommendation.

The bathroom on the SS Agile is small but keep in mind that we're in a coach that's

only 19 feet in length.

Here I am sitting on the toilet and I've got nothing scrunching my shoulders and except

for that metal rack behind my head I'm able to sit here just fine.

Here I am standing and you can see that there's pretty good head room.

I'm 5'10" and there's a good 4" to 5" inches above the top of my head.

While we're looking up there take a look at the shower curtain track.

Notice how it comes out to a kind of point?

That's because the accordion style doors can be positioned in such a way as to give you

extra elbow room when closed.

It works really well but the tradeoff is that these types of doors do have a tendency to

rattle when you're going down the road.

As we swing the camera around let's take a look at the tank sizes.

Look at the size of the fresh water tank!

36 gallons!

That's as large as some B+ motorhomes.

When you're boondocking fresh water is generally your limiting factor so it's great to see

such a large tank on a van this size.

So what's my final recommendation?

Should you avoid the SS Agile?

Consider it?

Short list it?

Or buy it?

Well, this is a first on Ultramobility.

I think you should... buy it.

If you're in the market for a short camper van and you want energy independence and no

propane then this exact model that I reviewed is for you.

Not only do you get a modern electrical system, but you get it as we see here for $125k.

That's just an incredible price for a rig built on the Mercedes chassis that also comes

with an industry leading 6 year warranty.

It seems like a no-brainer to me.
