In an RV in the USA 2017 // Episode 9 - Snake - Duration: 9:15.

- That was scary. Almost stepped on a snake.

- We came to eat some ice cream here, a really lovely place.

The Road 66 takes a turns away from the main road now, it's probably in a driveable condition

- There could be something along the way as there's been a lot of ads along the way

- Decided to take a break and found a campsite

We'll be staying here overnight

We can get our water tank filled

And grey water tank and toilet tank emptied

So we don't have to worry about that tomorrow at the free places

We'll be heading to Williams tomorrow

Supposedly there's a good place for staying the night

And it's free as well

The flu is starting to get better now which is great

It was 42 dollars per night or something like that

It's quite a lot for such a short stop

- But breakfast was included

- Yeah, that's a plus. We get breakfast at the motel.

- The path to the motel starts there

There's also a sign that says "look out for snakes"

- It says you shouldn't use sandals here or any peep-toe shoes

And no flip flops and no high heels

- I guess we'll take the car

Anni was reading about rattlesnakes yesterday so we are now terrified of them

so we can't go anywhere

Feels like they're everywhere

- If a rattlesnake bites you only thing that'll help is going to hospital

And you can't call an ambulance if you don't have phone reception

Like now

Can't call or anything

- Okay. So there's some kind of a cave there

or some underground stuff

some kind of a mine

I guess that's everything for today

Time for dinner

Then we catch some sleep and tomorrow we head back on Route 66

Good morning! Today we go back on Route 66 and head towards Williams

Our plan is to tour the city and visit a safari park

so we might be visiting there too

Williams also has a free campsite, the kind that has no services

Now we're going to get some breakfast at the motel

It should be part of the price of the camping fee

Before that we'll empty the toilet and grey water containers

This was a really quiet place

There weren't many other cars around

Nobody was disturbing us and there was plenty of privacy

And hopefully we didn't disturbn anyone else

The breakfast should be around here

There's some old petrol station

Some old motel as well

It's still active as well

Having some breakfast now

It's not quite fresh, and no sausages and cheese

Still better than nothing

You don't get breakfast included often at a campsite

We'll go take some photos of the RV

Trick the viewers

All sorts of things here

Can't tell what snakes these are so it's always a bit tense

But definitely not a rattlesnake

It'll wrap itself around it

- So we got our RV and we'll head on our three week American trip

It's not brand new, but I'm sure we'll manage in it for three weeks

Explains why it was so cheap

Short stop at Family Dollar

It doesn't say whether it's a food store or just tat

But let's go and have a look

If it's a food store we'll buy some bread and juice

Or juice and water, we already bought some bread

I don't think we need anything from this aisle

I'm not sure if the tap water is drinkable so we always buy some bottled water

Our car has a sticker that says "use bottled water" as well

But you never know, there's warnings signs for every single thing here in America

Even theoretical worries have a warning sign

You never know which you should take seriously and which you shouldn't

Now we've done some shopping

Small amount of groceries

We saw a post office at side of the road

so we had a quick stop so Anni can buy some stamps so we can send some postcards

The area near Grand Canyon is far above sea level

I'd guess we're somewhere 2km above sea level

Could be

I think Grand Canyon is around 2km deep

So the area around is quite high-altitude

In Finland it might break above 25 Celcius for three days in a row

Then comes the cold snap

We haven't had to guess what the weather is like here so far

Constant blue skies and warm weather

We're starting to see more green scenery at this altitude

Windshield Repair Kit, Does It Work? - Duration: 3:16.

Today I'm going to help you answer the question, do windshield repair kits really work, now

realize that windshields are actually made of tempered glass on the outside,

plastic in the middle, and then another layer of tempered glass on the inside, as

you can see, the outer layer is tempered glass, then there is polyvinyl butyral

on the inside, which is a type of plastic, then there's tempered glass on the

inside, now on this crack you can feel the crack on the outside, but you can't feel

the crack on the inside, so only the outer layer is cracked,

now if the glass is cracked on both sides, forget it don't even try fixing it,

because it's gone then, but even so, this crack is so long, there's nothing you can do to

fix this other than replace the windshield, but when you have small

cracks like this one here, you can seal them before the cracks get big and

create a giant mess, the point is, you want to stop a small crack from growing

and then shattering the whole windshield, first you get the pin with the kit, and you

clean out any loose fragments that are in there, then you get the alcohol prep

that comes with and make it nice and clean, then you get the backing plate, put

it over the center of the hole and push it on, then you pull the cover off there, and

put this little cap on, then you get the resin, and squirt some of it into the

hole, then you get the syringe it comes with, plunge it into the hole,

then you pull up the plunger and lock it in place on this low notch, and let it

sit for a while, they say wait about 10 minutes, then you take off the syringe,

that let some air in then you push it back in again, goes into the hole, you twist it and

put it on the second notch, then you wait about 20 minutes for it to seal

itself in, then you take the whole thing off, peel it off, then you put a little dot of the

resin on the hole, and put this curing strip on top, and you want to do this

while the sun is shining, because the ultraviolet rays are what ultimately

cure the resin, but I'm not a patient man, so I use my UV light to cure it much

faster, and now when I run my hand over it, it's smooth it doesn't have the crack

anymore, the trick is to catch it when they're small, if they're big like this

one, forget it, because if they start big like this one, there's no hope at all, the

crack will just grow, especially when you put the defroster on when it's cold in

the winter and the heat gets to it, it will shatter like mad, so now you know about

windshield repair kits, in a pinch with a small crack, they can help you out, just

don't expect miracles, more quick fixes on the Scotty Kilmer Channel,

Blizzard freezes U.S. Northeast, canceled flights to be resumed on Friday - Duration: 1:50.

A powerful blizzard that hit Northeastern U.S. left huge damage in various shapes and

sizes on Thursday local time.

Suspended flights are set to operate on Friday as the snowfall gradually eased...but piercing

cold is expected to follow suit.

Cho Sung-min has the latest.

New York's JFK Airport said it is resuming some of the flights starting at 7 a.m. local

time.

On Thursday, thousands of flights into and out of New York were canceled due to whiteout

conditions.

Some of the large airports in the Northeast, including Boston Logan and Newark have also

canceled flights... while some airports in Georgia and South Carolina saw delays.

Meanwhile, some parts of Boston saw as much as 43 centimeters of snow... and some coastal

regions of the city experienced historic flooding.

Some people were stranded in the streets and had to be rescued by firefighters.

Boston mayor Marty Walsh said some of the areas had not been flooded in the last three

decades.

Railways were also affected by the snow storm.

US rail line operator Amtrak halted its service in Virginia and Washington DC.

More casualties were reported in some states.

Authorities North Carolina have attributed four deaths to the winter weather, all traffic-related.

Another person died in South Carolina.

In Philadelphia a car slid down a hill and slammed into a commuter train, killing one

of the car's passengers.

The snowfall has subsided as the so-called "bomb cyclone" moved away from the northeasternmost

states,... but the National Weather Service said most of the east coast will see intense

cold waves and wind chill over the weekend.

Temperatures could go down to as low as minus 15 degress Celsius from Philadephia to Boston.

The coldest places on the east coast Sunday morning will be Maine and Washington D.C.

Go Jun Hee Finally Explodes At Kim Sung Kyun In "Untouchable"

JTBCs Friday-Saturday drama Untouchable released new stills on January 5, ahead of the broadcast of its 11th episode.

Last week, Joon Ki Seo (Kim Sung Kyun) and Goo Ja Kyung (Go Jun Hee) faced a turning point in their relationship. Goo Ja Kyung, who was pregnant with Joon Ki Seos baby, decided to leave.

However, while he was chasing her trying to get her to stay, she got into a car accident and ended up losing the baby. While living as his wife, she had suppressed her emotions, but she finally exploded after this incident.

In the stills, Go Jun Hee is choking Kim Sung Kyun with her bare hands. Her character is using all of her strength to choke him and Kim Sung Kyun is red in the face and looks as if he is about to pass out.

He also has a shocked expression on his face, seeing his wifes emotional rage for the first time.

For viewers who have not seen his side of her before, it is a shocking preview of whats to come in this drama and raises questions as to how their relationship will change.

This scene was filmed in the beginning of November at a hospital in Yangsan. The two actors talked a lot about the scene before filming, since this was an important scene that highlighted their characters heightened emotions.

Kim Sung Kyun and Go Jun Hee reportedly had a hard time calming down after filming, and the staff was amazed at their enthusiastic performance. Untouchable airs on Fridays and Saturdays at 11 p.m. KST.
