Youtube daily report May 2 2018

Hey it's Jackie Muir of The Baby Cubby and summer is finally here so I get to show you

some summer trends.

Summer meaning sun, let's jump straight into swim!

We have a lot of great choices and actually before we start I wanted to remind you, you

can shop all of these items in our store and everything will be linked at the bottom of

this video so you can shop them there too as well!

A lot of the swimsuits that we carry I really like because I feel like it's very appropriate

for little kids.

This is one brand that we absolutely love.

It's called "Penny Swim" and basically it has the envelope tee sleeve right here so it's

very easy to get on and off and genius they have snaps down here for your diaper changes

and so diaper changes you're not completely squirming out a little kid out of a soaking

wet swimsuit.

I've done it tons of times, it is not easy!

So they have snaps and it's easy to change.

I like the option of the long sleeve but you can also do a short sleeve version here if

you're in pretty warm climate.

A long the same lines are these Tea collection one zip swimmers.

They don't have the snaps but then they do have this really nice zipper which gives you

a lot of access to take on and off the swimsuit really easy which I really like.

The girl bottom is cut like a cute swimsuit and then the boy has these little Euro shorties

on.

It's so cute on!

And then going up to bigger girls so you can match big sister, little sister.

You have a long sleeve rash guard with the two piece right here the little bikini bottoms

that you can put on and off.

We're super excited to introduce Kortni Jean.

My manican over there is wearing Kortni Jean.

Our favorite thing about this is mix and match.

Literally tops and bottoms and you can mix and match a million different styles and you

can get multiple swimsuits out of just three or four pieces.

Also every single one of their bottoms are high rise so they're meant to go up nice and

high and then depending on which top you pick it will either over hang or have just a cute

little tankini.

And honestly any print goes with anything.

So these are the high rise peplum bottoms right here and this is the peplum top.

Over there she's wearing that peplum top with the daisy bottoms and I love it!

We do carry Kortni Jean from 9-12 months all the way through the teens actually into womens.

So this one is super cute on a baby but I actually really like it on your older kids

cause it's a little more sporty, gives a little bit more coverage, and is a little bit more

snug.

So this is their rasor back top and my seven year old wears this and she loves it!

Personally fav.

The ruffle down the front on these high wasted bottoms right here and again anything matches

with everything!

Boys dont get enough attention.

Right here we have this Rylee & Cru.

They are so cute.

I like the shorter length.

It's a really nice light weight fabric so it's not going to fall off and it has the

adjustable draw string and then of course it has the mesh insert for your swimmer.

And with swimsuits comes swim diapers.

You've got to have your swim diapers.

So we've brought in Iplay and we're really excited to have them!

I've personally used them.

I love the protection it offers.

On here it says no other diaper necessary but you might want to check with your local

pool.

I know a lot of pools require an additional 1 or 2 layers of protection, but that being

said this does fit amazing and it does keep the poop in.

Which we really like!

So we have a girl and a boy version.

So we brought in Baby Bum which I'm really excited about.

Baby Bum is owned by Sun Bum so they know sunscreen and they know sun protection really

well but they launched out a baby specific line which I love!

A lot of its based on coconut oils, a lot vegan, paragon free.

Tear free for like the bubble bath and what not.

Some of my favorite items for summer.

Hand sanitizer.

Use it all throughout the summer, use it all the time!

We really like it.

It's vegan and hypoallergenic.

Some of their other items from Baby Bum, obviously you go swimming, pools dry you out.

This lotion has the coconut and cocoa butters and the coconut oils in it.

And it comes in a few different options.

I do really like the option though if you have a very sensitive kid where you have the

fragrance free lotion to keep everything at a minimum and hopefully there are no flare

ups but this smells amazing.

I forgot to mention Iplay the same brand that we did the swim diapers.

We actually brought in some of their swim hats just a good classic hat.

I know sometimes they're not the cutest but babies with sunburns are not cute at all.

So there are two different options.

You have the ear flap.

I like this for newborns and little babies.

It offers a lot more protection.

It goes over their shoulders and that way you don't have to worry as much about getting

sun screen in all their little cracks and crevasses you just make sure you have this

really good hat on them.

Then when they get older you can move up to some fun things.

We've really liked Jack and Winn.

I like this one it's their summer camp version.

Really cute five panal but also summer I like that they put mesh on these so you're getting

some ventilation and less sweaty head.

We also have just a great assortment of sunglasses.

These are at a really good price point.

They're $9.99 so you don't have to worry too much about your kid if they lose or break

them cause that probably is going to happen.

Just some really fun pops of colors and styles for summer.

We are really excited to have towels and this year we have big kid towels to go along with

your little kid as well.

So baby towel right here.

It's your classic.

You've got your hood, you've got the little hand pocket.

It's a good size about 15-18 months is I feel when they out grow it.

You can still use them but about then you can size up to the big kid towel.

This is huge this is like pool appropriate.

I'd say about up to seven years.

You still have the hood, you still have the pockets.

It's just generous size.

So this is the sharks print.

We also have it in.

Let me show you the back side that would probably help more, in palm tropical.

And one more option for Mom for summer is we have this huge oversize carry all tote.

It's great material, it's a great beach bag, pool bag, take it, haul it around.

Obviously its huge but I do love that it offers some organization.

You have a huge exterior pocket here.

If you didn't want something to get wet or you didn't want sand to get in a specific

spot.

Zip that up nice and tight and then you actually have another large pocket zipper in the inside.

So if you have your after pool clothes in here.

They won't get wet while you can throw your towels and wet swimsuits in this pocket.

So I love the large divided areas.

And obviously it's big enough to house all of your stuff for the pool.

One of my favorite things about Tea collection is that they offer the same print in a variety

of sizes and styles so that you can have your older sibling match your younger sibling and

this is very summer appropriate.

You've got your pocket tea.

It's a great bright Pineapple print and then for baby brother comes in a cute little romper.

So you've got snaps down here but you still have the same print with the pocket Tee.

This is a bright, fun, Florida citrus dress.

This is the older sister.

Cute wrap style, summer appropriate.

And then baby sister.

You've got this two tone snap up romper.

We have LuLu & Roo and I really like this brand again for kind of like the mix and match.

You pick 4 or 5 pieces and you almost have like this whole summer wardrobe put together.

So right behind me are just three options.

So shorts you can pick girl or boy.

Honestly I put my boy in this when he was little and I loved his thighs out.

But you just start with a basic short.

This is a good neutral color but it comes in a bunch of different colors that you can

get.

The tank matches super easy but it maybe it gets cold later on in the day so then you

just have a sweatshirt.

Again it matches all of these styles.

If you wanted to add in a sweat pant to make all your collection last a little bit longer.

You can pick out a coordinating sweat pant or starting to warm up (these are not the

same size) but you can just throw on your tank hoodie.

Also if you wanted to take these little shorts.

Pop them under the dress.

So you have little bloomers.

This is a romper.

It's a one piece and then this one you're going to pair back to.

(wrong size but you get the idea) Back to the shorts.

And then you can get a cute little bow to top it off for your little girl.

Salt Waters are probably the shoes your mom wore or you wore as a kid and I've used them

and I love them!

So basically you can go in the water.

They're great, they fit great.

Here's a little tip on Salt Waters.

I don't know if you know this but if you first get your Salt Waters and you feel like they're

a little bit snug especially on little baby chubby feet.

You take the shoe and you submerge it in water for about a minute and you're going to pull

it up and you're going to pull on the top and bottom once and you're just going to give

it a good pull and the leather is going to stretch and ease up so that you will get more

of a custom fit on your little foot.

Obviously it's just got the buckle.

You can run through water, run through sand and these just hold up and look amazing all

summer long.

All right we have native here and we really love Native.

They are really easy to put on.

Little kids can start putting them on.

There are no buckles to deal with.

So it's easy to put on and off.

I do like that it does have toe protection so they aren't going to be running around

scuffing up their toes.

This is totally splash pad, water, pool appropriate.

Just don't leave these in your car or out in the hot sun if these get too hot.

They will soften up and they're lose their proper shape.

So they will be misshapen.

So there is another tip on shoes for you but we love having Native in.

One more thing that we have is teethers!

Just a bunch of fun summer options.

These are silicon teethers.

These are a great price point.

Good for easy gifts, maybe someone having a baby in the summer.

Or if you just want to refresh on teethers you do have.

Pineapple, Cactus, and Ice cream.

All great summer things!

Then over here we do have the Oli & Carol.

We have two great summer options as well.

Farmers market bundle.

A swaddles a swaddle.

Generally you're going to have two choices.

You're going to have your cotton right here.

You're muslin cotton and this is Mr. Shark. Love this.

And this is the Bamboo Muslin right here.

And so you're not going to tell too many differences until you get up nice and close but what you

are is this bamboo is going to be a little softer, a little slinkier.

I feel like it's a little more airy.

The cotton muslin will soften up as you wash it more.

But this just starts out snuggle soft!

Brain freeze, Popsicles, and we actually have a lot, sometimes boy stuff is super hard to

find cute, I feel like we have a lot of great options for summer boy stuff.

I love just a good classic ripple, but if you like prints and patterns, this is pirate

ship, treasure map.

But its a pirate ship on the search for a treasure map.

I don't know if you can see that, Flamingos and Pineapples.

As summer appropriate as possible.

This one is fun.

I wish I could show you it!

It's called tan lines.

It's this huge beach scene.

It's got these stripes and people are bathing in their swimsuits and then you've got the

ocean and people playing in the ocean.

This is really cute!

I really like it!

This is a little lovey it does come in a big swaddle but lemons, summer, cute!

Love the color combination on this!

And then for a fun bright pop of color we've got another Popsicle swaddle.

So this is the swaddle, and this is the quilt.

On the quilt.

This is the back side.

So I love the double contrasting print.

It's so fun!

Breaking: Officer Just Revealed How Obama Will Go Down In History as the 'First President" To Be - Duration: 10:48.

BREAKING: OFFICER JUST REVEALED HOW OBAMA WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE 'FIRST PRESIDENT"

TO BE INDICTED WITH A FELONY

It's known for a fact that the mainstream media is willing to go to extreme lengths

in order to cover up Obama administration's criminal activity.

We saw a proof of that when they were all laughing at President Trump's claim that

the past administration was spying on him and his campaign team last year.

However, few months later he finally got the proof and slapped the truth in their faces.

Americans learned the truth that former President Obama's administration truly wiretapped

President Trump during the presidential election.

Obtained by Urepublican:

Now former intelligence officer Lt. Col Tony Shaffer just revealed that Obama's wiretapping

was not only a federal crime, but says that the results of this investigation will likely

result in Obama being brought up on FELONY CHARGES.

The colonel's dire prediction is throwing a monkey wrench into Obama's plans to stage

his "political comeback" this fall.

In a recent interview Shaffer called 'Obamagate' an "order of magnitude" even bigger than

the Watergate scandal because the incident included "using nation-state resources for

purposes of political gain."

When asked if Obama could be arrested for violating the law, he said that it would be

the "first time a former president could be indicted for a felony."

"…I think it is very possible that he acted outside of the scope of his duties,

responsibilities and authorities to turn the resources of a nation-state on a candidate.

This is, as I've said before, soviet-dictator level wrongdoing," he added.

Shaffer said Obama used government resources to spy on Trump in order to get Hillary into

office.

The former president hoped the wiretapping would produce enough "dirt" on Trump to

sabotage his presidential run.

Obama's unconstitutional move wasn't limited to listening in on Trump's calls.

If these reports are true, it means U.S. intelligence agencies secretly surveilled at least a half

dozen Trump associates.

And those are just the ones we know about, thanks to former Obama adviser Susan Rice

who admitted "unmasking," or asking to know the identities of, the officials.

In May, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former Acting Attorney General

Sally Yates acknowledged they, too, reviewed communications of political figures, secretly

collected under President Obama, reports Freedom Daily.

After getting away with everything he did over the past 8 years, it seems Obama's

cockiness might just be his undoing.

He might have gotten away with his antics in the past, but things are different now

that Obama doesn't have all his minions covering up his crimes.

In addition to rooting out Obama-era appointees, Shaffer said, Trump must dig deeper into the

bureaucracy to find the mid-level employees who are the source of the alleged sabotage.

What do you think about the depth of this mission Obama engaged in, in order to sabotage

President Trump?

Tell us your opinion in

the

comments below.

NEFFEX - With You // Lyrics - Duration: 2:41.

and if our time is ours to waste to leave behind a better place

then I need nothing more than life with you

yo, it's hard days and it's hard months

sometimes I don't know what to say hits me all at once

my pride is getting in the way and I'm on the run

scared that things are gonna change what will i become

no, I can't take it sometimes

that's why I dive into rhymes that's why we dive into lies

we diggin deeper inside we try to keep up with life

we hide our pain from the light do what we can to survive

but no I wont let it take a hold of me

find my passion make it happen I'm gon take control of me

not reacting taking action I can feel it pulling me

a hole so deep my soul will need a passion that comes over me yuh!

no!

I won't hide from mistakes cuz if I tried that's ok

I'm learning life everyday I'm 25 still the same

when I was 9 thought ok I'll figure it out one day

get peace of mind I'll be sane

and if our time is ours to waste to leave behind a better place

then I need nothing more than life with you and if I was the one to stay

would you still spend this time with me when I go I want nothing else but you

yo, they say to be where you feet are

I just listen to the beat try to restart I just listen to the beat like it's your

heart so far I can't seem to let down my own guard

yea I'm defensive for a reason

hiding all my demons affected by the seasons

uh sometimes I just feel like leaving

I'm sick of all these feelings I'm sick of always dealing

yo you say that I've changed but you've changed

all this pain in my veins is from the things you say

your state of mind never stays the same you say your fine but you lie to me

inside your dividing me yea

we've got our highs and our lows and when we're high we're so close

but when we're low I don't know yea

don't wanna be someone different why can't you just be forgiving

am who I am that's a given

and if our time is ours to waste to leave behind a better place

then I need nothing more than life with you and if I was the one to stay

would you still spend this time with me when I go I want nothing else but you

13. Tourist Destinations In Italy - Duration: 25:08.

13. Tourist Destinations In Italy

Home to many of the world's greatest works of art, architecture and gastronomy, Italy

elates, inspires and moves like no other.

Cultural Riches.

Epicentre of the Roman Empire and birthplace of the Renaissance, this European virtuoso

groans under the weight of its cultural cachet: it's here

that you'll stand in the presence of Michelangelo's David

and Sistine Chapel frescoes, Botticelli's Birth of Venus and Primavera and da Vinci's

The Last Supper.

In fact, Italy has more Unesco World Heritage cultural sites than any other country on Earth.

Should you walk in the footsteps of ancient Romans in Pompeii, revel in Ravenna's glittering

Byzantine treasures or get breathless over Giotto's

revolutionary frescoes in Padua?

It's a cultural conundrum as thrilling as it is overwhelming.

Inimitable Style.

In few places do art and life intermingle so effortlessly.

This may be the land of Dante, Titian and Verdi,

but it's also the home of Prada, Massimo Bottura and Renzo Piano.

Beauty, style and flair furnish every aspect of daily life, from those immaculately knotted

ties and seamless espressos to the flirtatious smiles of

striking strangers.

The root of Italian psychology is a dedication to living life well, and effortless as

it may seem, driving that dedication is a reverence for the finer things.

So slow down, style up and indulge in a little, "vita all'italiana", (life, Italian style).

Endless Feasts.

It might look like a boot, but food obsessed Italy feels more like a decadently stuffed

Christmas stocking.

From delicate tagliatelle al ragu' to velvety cannoli, every bite can feel like a revelation.

The secret: superlative ingredients and finely tuned know

how.

And while Italy's culinary soul might prefer simplicity,

it's equally ingenious and sophisticated.

Expect some of the world's top fine dining destinations,

from San Pellegrino World's Best 50 hot spots to Michelin-starred musts.

So whether you're on a degustation odyssey in Modena, truffle hunting in Piedmont

or swilling powerhouse reds in the Valpolicella wine region,

prepare to loosen that belt.

Spectacular Landscapes.

Italy's fortes extend beyond its galleries, wardrobes and dining rooms.

The country is one of nature's masterpieces, with extraordinary natural diversity

matched by few.

From the north's icy Alps and glacial lakes to the south's fiery craters and turquoise

grottoes, this is a place for doing as well as seeing.

One day you're tearing down Courmayeur's powdery slopes, the next you could be galloping across

the marshes of the Maremma, or diving in coral-studded

Campanian waters.

Not bad for a country not much bigger than Arizona.

Here, an overview of 13 Tourist Destinations that you can choose during your vacation in Italy:

Cinque Terre

Set amid some of the most dramatic coastal scenery on the planet, these five ingeniously

constructed fishing villages can bolster the most jaded

of spirits.

A Unesco World Heritage Site since 1997,

Cinque Terre isn't the undiscovered Eden it once was but, frankly, who cares?

Sinuous paths traverse seemingly impregnable cliffsides, while a

19th-century railway line cut through a series of coastal tunnels

ferries the footsore from village to village.

Thankfully cars were banned over a decade ago.

Rooted in antiquity, Cinque Terre's five villages date from the early medieval period and while

much of this fetching vernacular architecture remains,

Cinque Terre's unique historical draw is the steeply terraced

cliffs bisected by a complicated system of fields and gardens that have been hacked,

chiselled, shaped and layered over the course of nearly two millennia.

The extensive muretti (low stone walls) can be compared

to the Great Wall of China in their grandeur and scope.

Amalfi

It is hard to grasp that pretty little Amalfi, with its sun-filled piazzas and small beach,

was once a maritime superpower with a population of more

than 70,000.

For one thing, it's not a big place you can

easily walk from one end to the other in about 20 minutes.

For another, there are very few historical buildings of note.

The explanation is chilling: most of the old city, and its populace, simply slid into the

sea during an earthquake in 1343.

Despite this, the town exudes a sense of history and culture, most notably in its breathtaking

cathedral and fascinating paper museum.

And while the permanent population is a fairly modest 5000 or so these days,

the numbers swell significantly during summer.

Just around the headland, neighbouring Atrani is a picturesque tangle of whitewashed alleys

and arches centred on a lively, lived-in piazza and popular

beach; don't miss it.

Lake Como

Set in the shadow of the snow-covered Rhaetian Alps and hemmed in on both sides by steep,

verdant hillsides, Lake Como (aka Lake Lario) is perhaps the

most spectacular of the three major lakes.

Shaped like an upside-down Y, measuring around 160km in squiggly shoreline, it's littered

with villages, including exquisite Bellagio and Varenna.

Where the southern and western shores converge is the lake's main

town, Como, an elegant, prosperous Italian city.

Among the area's siren calls are some extraordinarily sumptuous villas, often graced with paradisiacal

gardens.

The mountainous terrain means that opportunities for taking bird's-eye views of the lake and

its towns are numerous.

And with a fraction of the visitors drawn here compared to Lake Maggiore or Lake Garda,

Lake Como and its surrounding area offer the traveller the chance

to enjoy a real sense of discovery.

Milan

Milan is Italy's city of the future, a fast-paced metropolis where creativity is big business,

looking good is compulsory and after-work drinks are an

art form.

Cultural Legacy.

Ruled by the Caesars, Napoleon, the Austro-Hungarians and Mussolini, Milan has an ancient and fascinating

cultural history.

Mercantile Milan invented the idea of the city-state and the Edict of Milan (AD 313)

ended

the persecution of Christians.

Art collections old and new mark the genius of Old Masters and provoke new

conversations about where the world is headed.

Prestigious nights at La Scala and an illustrious literary

heritage are balanced by a diverse contemporary music and publishing scene.

In short, Milan is so much more than the puritanically work-obsessed city

it is often portrayed as.

A Modern Miracle.

Since Leonardo da Vinci broke all the rules in his stunning Last Supper, the indefatigably

inventive Milanese seem to have skipped straight from the Renaissance

to the 21st-century.

Not only is Milan a treasure trove

of 20th-century art, but art deco and rationalist architecture abound.

Today the city leads the way with the largest post-war re-development in Italy,

impressive, sustainable architecture and a futuristic skyline

modelled by Zaha Hadid, Daniel Libeskind and César Pelli.

And there's more to come with ambitious plans to

mould the city into a hi-tech hub, home to the likes of Google, Microsoft, Alibaba and

Apple.

Living By Design.

Though Italian design is world renowned, its roots lie in 1930s Milan and seeing it in

a home context offers fresh appreciation.

A visit to the Design Museum is a wonderful way to pay homage to the work of Italy's

best and brightest.

In addition, Milan is home to all the major design showrooms and an endless round of

trade fairs.

And it's not just insiders who have all the fun.

Milanese fashion houses have branched out into

spas, bars, hotels, galleries and restaurants.

So, why not join them for a touch of la vita moda (the stylish life).

Buon Appetito.

Cucina povera (peasant cooking) may be the cry of the south, but Milanese cuisine is

a product of a rich urban culture.

Just note the golden hue of its quintessential dishes: cotoletta (burnished, buttery veal)

and saffron risotto.

It was in powerful commercial cities such as Milan that Italy's great cuisine was born,

marrying Mediterranean fruits, spices and herbs with cooking methods, pastry techniques

and eating styles

from France and central Europe.

Even today Milan continues to push Italy's culinary boundaries, making sushi

and dim sum their own, and holding the second highest number of Michelin stars in the country.

Naples

Italy's third-largest city is one of its oldest, most artistic and most appetising.

Naples' centro storico (historic centre) is a Unesco World Heritage

Site, its archaeological treasures are among the world's most

important, and its swag of vainglorious palaces, castles and churches make Rome look positively

provincial.

Then there's the food.

Blessed with rich volcanic soils, a bountiful sea, and centuries of culinary know-how,

the Naples region is one of Italy's epicurean heavyweights, serving up the country's best

pizza, pasta and coffee, and many of its most celebrated seafood

dishes, street snacks and sweet treats.

Certainly, Naples' urban sprawl can feel anarchic, tattered and unloved.

But look beyond the grime, graffiti and occasional gruffness and you'll uncover

a city of breathtaking frescoes, sculptures and panoramas,

of unexpected elegance, of spontaneous conversations and profound humanity.

Welcome to Italy's most unlikely masterpiece.

Pisa

Once a maritime power to rival Genoa and Venice, Pisa now draws its fame from an architectural

project gone terribly wrong.

But the world-famous Leaning Tower is just one of many noteworthy sights in this compelling

city.

Education has fuelled the local economy since the 1400s, and students from across Italy

compete for places in its elite university.

This endows the centre of town with a vibrant cafe and bar scene, balancing an enviable

portfolio of well maintained Romanesque buildings, Gothic

churches and Renaissance piazzas with a lively street life

dominated by locals rather than tourists a charm you will definitely not discover if

you restrict your visit to Piazza dei Miracoli.

Pompeii

City in western Italy, southeast of Naples.

The city was buried by an eruption of Mount Vesuvius in ad 79;

excavations of the site began in 1748 and revealed well-preserved remains of buildings,

mosaics, furniture, and the personal possessions of the city's

inhabitants.

Modern-day Pompeii, may feel like a nondescript satellite of Naples, but it's here that you'll

find Europe's most compelling archaeological site: the ruins

of Pompeii.

Sprawling and haunting, the site is a stark reminder of the malign forces that lie deep

inside Vesuvius.

Positano

Positano is the Amalfi Coast's most photogenic (and expensive) town, with vertiginous houses

tumbling down to the sea in a cascade of sun-bleached peach,

pink and terracotta.

No less colourful are its steep streets and steps, flanked by wisteria-draped hotels,

smart restaurants and fashionable retailers.

Look beyond the facades and the fashion, however, and you will find reassuring signs of everyday

reality: crumbling stucco, streaked paintwork and even,

on occasion, a faint whiff of drains.

There's still a

southern Italian holiday feel about the place, with sunbathers eating pizza on the beach,

kids pestering parents for gelato and chic signore from Milan browsing the boutiques.

The fashionista history runs deep moda Positano was born here in the 60s and the town was

the first in Italy to import bikinis from France.

Rome

A heady mix of haunting ruins, awe-inspiring art and vibrant street life, Italy's hot-blooded

capital is one of the world's most romantic and inspiring

cities.

Historical Legacies The result of 3000 years of ad hoc urban development,

Rome's cityscape is an exhilarating spectacle.

Ancient icons such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Pantheon recall the city's golden

age as caput mundi

(capital of the world), while its many monumental basilicas testify to its historical role as

seat of the Catholic Church.

Lording it over the skyline, St Peter's Basilica is the Vatican's epic showpiece church,

a towering masterpiece of Renaissance architecture.

Elsewhere, ornate piazzas and showy fountains add a

baroque flourish to the city's captivating streets.

Artistic Riches Few cities can rival Rome's astonishing artistic

heritage.

Throughout history, the city has starred in the

great upheavals of Western art, drawing the top artists of the day and inspiring them

to push the boundaries

of creative achievement.

The result is a city awash with priceless treasures.

Ancient statues adorn world class museums; Byzantine mosaics and

Renaissance frescoes dazzle in the city's art-rich churches;

baroque facades flank medieval piazzas.

Walk around the centre and without even trying you'll come across

masterpieces by the giants of Western art sculptures by Michelangelo, canvases by Caravaggio,

Raphael frescoes and fountains by Bernini.

Living the Life.

A trip to Rome is as much about lapping up the dolce vita lifestyle as gorging on art

and culture.

Idling around picturesque streets, whiling away hours at streetside cafes, people-watching

on pretty

piazzas these are all an integral part of the Roman experience.

The tempo rises as the heat of the day gives way to the evening cool and the fashionably

dressed aperitivo (pre-dinner drinks) crowd descends on the

city's bars and cafes.

Restaurants and trattorias hum with activity and cheerful hordes mill around popular

haunts before heading off to cocktail bars and late-night clubs.

Roman Feasting.

Eating out is one of Rome's great pleasures and the combination of romantic alfresco settings

and superlative food is a guarantee of good times.

For contemporary fine dining and five-star wine there are

any number of refined restaurants, but for a truly Roman meal head to a boisterous pizzeria

or convivial neighbourhood trattoria.

These are where the locals go to dine with friends and indulge their passion for

thin, crispy pizzas, humble pastas, and cool white wines from the nearby Castelli Romani

hills.

Then to finish off, what about a gelato followed by a shot of world-beating coffee?

Venice Imagine the audacity of building a city of

marble palaces on a lagoon and that was only the start.

Epic Grandeur Never was a thoroughfare so aptly named as

the Grand Canal, reflecting the glories of Venetian architecture

lining its banks.

At the end of Venice's signature waterway, the Palazzo Ducale and Basilica di San Marco

add double exclamation points.

But wait until you see what's hiding in the narrow backstreets:

neighbourhood churches lined with Veroneses and priceless marbles, Tiepolo's glimpses

of heaven on

homeless shelter ceilings, and a single Titian painting that mysteriously lights up an entire

basilica.

Venetian Feasts Garden islands and lagoon aquaculture yield

speciality produce and seafood you won't find elsewhere

all highlighted in inventive Venetian cuisine, with tantalising traces of ancient spice routes.

The city knows how to put on a royal spread, as France's King Henry III once found out

when faced with 1200 dishes and 200 bonbons.

Today such feasts are available in miniature at happy hour, when bars mount lavish

spreads of cicheti (Venetian tapas).

Save room and time for a proper sit-down Venetian meal, with lagoon

seafood to match views at canalside bistros and toasts with Veneto's signature bubbly,

prosecco.

An Artful Lifestyle Pity the day trippers dropped off at San Marco

with a mere three hours to take in Venice.

That's about enough time for one long gasp at the show-stopper

that is Piazza San Marco, but not nearly enough time to see

what else Venice is hiding.

Stay longer in this fairy-tale city and you'll discover the pleasures of

la bea vita (the beautiful life) that only locals know: a morning spritz in a sunny campi

(square),

lunch in a crowded bacaro (bar) with friends and fuschia-pink sunsets that have sent centuries

of artists mad.

Defying Convention Eyeglasses, platform shoes and uncorseted

dresses are outlandish Venetian fashions that critics sniffed

would never be worn by respectable Europeans.

Venetians are used to setting trends, whether it be with

controversial artwork in the Punta della Dogana, racy operas at La Fenice or radical new art

at the Biennale.

On a smaller scale, this unconventional creative streak finds vibrant expression in the showrooms

of local artisans where you can find custom-made red-carpet shoes, purses fashioned from silk-screened

velvet and glass jewels brighter than semi-precious stones.

In a world of cookie-cutter culture, Venice's originality still stands out.

San Gimignano

As you crest the nearby hills, the 14 towers of the walled town of San Gimignano rise up

like a medieval Manhattan.

Originally an Etruscan village, the settlement was named after the bishop of Modena, San

Gimignano, who is said to have saved the city from Attila

the Hun.

It became a comune (local government) in 1199,

prospering in part because of its location on the Via Francigena.

Building a tower taller than their neighbours' (there were originally 72) became a popular

way for prominent

families to flaunt their power and wealth.

In 1348 plague wiped out much of the population and weakened the

local economy, leading to the town's submission to Florence in 1353.

Today, not even the plague would deter the swarms of summer day trippers, who are lured

by a palpable sense of history, intact medieval streetscapes and

enchanting rural setting.

Sicily

Eternal crossroads of the Mediterranean, the gorgeous island of Sicily continues to seduce

travellers with its dazzling diversity of landscapes and cultural

treasures.

Classical Crossroads Seductively beautiful and perfectly placed

in the heart of the Mediterranean, Sicily has been luring

passersby since the time of legends.

The land of the Cyclops has been praised by poets from Homer to

Virgil and prized by the many ancient cultures Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Elymians, Romans

and Greeks whose bones lie buried here.

Whether in the classical perfection of Agrigento's Concordia temple,

the monumental rubble of Selinunte's columns or the rare grace of a dancing satyr statue

rescued from Mazara del Vallo's watery depths, reminders of bygone

civilisations are everywhere.

Sparkling Seas, Restless Mountains Sicily's varied landscape makes a dramatic

first impression.

Fly into Catania and the smoking hulk of Etna greets you; arrive in Palermo and it's

the sparkling Golfo di Castellammare.

This juxtaposition of sea,

volcano and mountain scenery makes a stunning backdrop for outdoor activities.

Hikers can wind along precipitous coastlines, climb erupting volcanoes and traipse through

flowery mountain

meadows; birders benefit from the plethora of species on the Africa-Europe migration

route; and divers and swimmers enjoy some of the Mediterranean's

most pristine waters.

Whatever your personal predilections,

Sicily and its dozen-plus offshore islands offer enough activities to build an entire

vacation around.

Tuscany

With its lyrical landscapes, world-class art and a superb cucina contadina (farmer's kitchen),

the Tuscan experience is perfectly in symbiosis with the land.

Sensational Slow Food No land is more caught up with the fruits

of its fertile earth than Tuscany, a gourmet destination whose

residents spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about, discussing and consuming food

and wine.

Local, seasonal and sustainable is the Holy Trinity and Tuscans share enormous pride in

the quality of their produce.

Tuscan travel is grassroots: to wineries to taste blockbuster wines like Brunello di Montalcino

and

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano; to a family-run pastificio tradizionale where artisan pasta

is cut by hand; and road trips in quest of the best bistecca

alla fiorentina (chargrilled T-bone steak).

Buon appetito!

Perfect Landscapes Tuscany has a timeless familiarity with its

iconic Florentine cathedral dome, gently rolling hills dipped in

soft morning mist and sculptural cypress alleys.

But then, this regione in central Italy is postcard material.

Golden wheat fields, silver olive groves and pea-green vineyards marching in sharp terraced

rows on hillsides form a graceful prelude to soul-soaring

medieval hilltop villages, mountain ranges and fecund

forests in the north, and a garland of bijou islands beaded along the coastal south.

Get out, explore, hike and ding your bicycle bell, as this rousing

landscape demands.

Disadvantages and Cons of Calisthenics - Is there a downside? - Duration: 6:49.

Welcome to Danube Calisthenics, my Name is Achim, I am a calisthenics athlete...

...and in this video I wan't to talk about the disadvantages of calisthenics.

Of yourse I wont try to talk you out of this sport that I also enjoy doing...

...but since I already made a video about the advantages of calisthenics (Link in the description)...

...I thought I should be fair and talk about the things that could be a little negative...

...if you choose to train with nothing else than with yor bodyweight.

I think this sport has much more advantages in summary.

So if you think about starting calisthenics then also watch the other video as well.

Calisthenics and bodyweighttraining is a good way to train your body in many different ways...

s you may know from there or from somewhere else

You won't need much or even no equipment and the exercises are pretty useful...

...if you want to train in a healthy and efficient way.

But there still may be some disadvantages we'll take a look on now:

Disadvantage Nr.1: Not only calisthenics is natural

People today keep often asking about the most natural or the most functional way of movement.

You can also overdo it with that question and I think sometimes it's also important to have fun...

...but a lot of people keep asking that question and in general thats also something good.

If you use your body for what it was made for then you will probably have a better health condition...

...and less problems.

If we take a look at the movements that our ancestors did then we'll see that a lot of them...

...have been made with the own bodyweight.

Because of that it's also useful to do such exercises if you want to train in a good and efficient way.

But we still have to admit that the movements that have been done back then ...

...haven't been only bodyweight exercises.

Sometimes it was necessary to pick up something heavy or to carry it in the daily life.

Humans are also made for these tasks.

So there are also useful exercises with additional weights that we could profit from...

...and you won't be able to do them if you insist on doing only bodyweight exercises without an exception.

You won't miss something completely necessary if you don't do exercises with weights of course...

...but it's also not smart to not do something that may be useful or fun to you...

...just because it is not "calisthenics only".

So if you don't want to do such exercises or if you don't have the possibility to do them...

...then no one will bother you.

But if you want to do such exercises then just go for it.

I also enjoy to put exercises like weighted squats or deadlifts into my workouts.

That helps me to train my legs in a heavier way.

Thats also leads us to the next point:

Disadvantage Nr.2: Heavy leg training

If you want to build strength or muscles then you will have to have a certain load that you can increase.

That can be easily done with calisthenics if it comes to the upper body...

...since you will be able to bring a lot of load onto your muscles there by changing the lever...

...or changing the execution of the exercises in order to make them harder and in order to increase the load.

You can also do that for your legs but that often requires explosive exercises or something similar...

...in order to be able to increase the mechanical load.

If it's not your goal to do such exercises then it can make sense to also do exercises with weights...

...like for example weighted squats.

Also the famous pistol squats have their limitations here.

Leg training with nothing else than with bodyweight exercises often is training for coordination, speed,..

...or endurance.

That's nothing bad and that are good ways to train your legs, but it's also okay to have different goals.

You can also use weights in that case.

Disadvantage Nr.3: measurability

It's easy to get an overview of your progress if you do exercises with weights.

You can normally add weight linearly.

Often it's even possible to add weights in small steps like mabe only 1kg.

Your progress will be pretty measureable in that way.

In Calisthenics you can also do that if it comes to the number of reps of certain exercises.

But you are not always able to express your progress in numbers if you learn a new variation or a new exercise.

You'll have to know yourself if that even bothers you.

I personally don't think that that's a big problem...

...since you don't always have to express your progress in numbers..

...and therefore there is more space for creativity and variation.

Disadvantage Nr.4: Isolation exercises

People that want to train like bodybuilders may be bothered by the fact...

...that there are sometimes less possibilities to train a muscle isolated.

Bodyweight exercises often train more muscles at the same time...

...so it's not always possible to not train other musclegroups that stabilize or help during the exercise.

There are a lot of good replacement exercises that can be done instead of isolation exercises with weights...

...but it's not always exactly the same

This can also be an advantage if you think a little further than that.

A lot of isolation exercises are nort that natural and they burn also less calories...

...and they are sometimes not that efficient.

Sometimes they are easier to do or to learn...

...but with little effort comes also often little results.

Exercises that are more complex and that may seem more unpleasant sometimes...

...often may lead to better results therefore.

Especially if you want to train as many muscles as possible in a certain amount of time...

...which will also lead to more burned calories or to more stimuli.

It will make sense to do complex exercises if that's your goal.

Disadvantage Nr.5: Infrastructure

You can train with your body at any time and at any place.

But if you want to do that indoors or with a trainer...

...then you will have less possibilities for that compared to conventional gyms with machines.

Currently there are a lot of gyms that have a lot of machines but that haven't much possibilities...

...when i comes to bodweight training or functional training.

That's a bit sad but that's still the current situation, at least here in vienna.

It slowly changes to the better and in the future it should be our goal that a calisthenics gym is as normal...

...as a gym with machines is today.

Conclusion.

That's it with the disadvantages that I wanted to talk about.

I think that noone that really enjoys this sport or that sees a meaning behind it...

...will not be held back by these.

Too much coziness never lead to something big and if you want to achieve something...

...then you shouldn't let yourself be held back by such things.

But it still can't hurt to know if you are thinking about doing calisthenics.

Luckily you won't have to decide for just one sport...

...and of course it is also a good possibility to combine calisthenics with other different things...

...like with weight training or something else.

Some people act like if there is only one choice but there is nothing like the "only way to train" anyways.

it's much more important that you do something that makes sense and that is fun to you.

If you liked this video and if you are interested in more info about calisthenics and bodyweight training...

...then make sure to also check the other video on this channel. There might be something helpful for you.

You can write them in the comments if you have questions.

I hope that this video helped you, see you!

HOW TO DYE YOUR EYEBROWS AT HOME | RefectoCil Eyebrow Tint - Duration: 5:41.

Hi guys!

Today I'm showing you how to dry your, dry?

Hi guys!

Today I'm showing you how to dye your eyebrows!

If you don't know who I am, my name is Maike, I am a makeup artist I do beauty, makeup,

lifestyle videos whatever you can think of, so if you think you might be interested in

that, just subscribe down below.

I'd really appreciate it.

So I have super light eyebrows, I actually have eyebrows like my eyelashes, so they're

almost white, they're like super super blonde and I hate that look, because I don't think

I'm pretty enough to pull of a look like that off so I dye them.

I have recently started dyeing them um a little lighter then I used to, I used to the very

dark brown, now I got a light brown, so it's little bit of a mixed color still going on

but nevertheless I can show you how I do it, it's very very easy.

So I plucked my eyebrows yesterday, you should either do it after you dye your eyebrows or

a night before you know, so you have time, your skin has time to heal if necessary, sometimes

you can have wounds from plucking your eyebrows so, it's not ideal for the dye to go in there.

I'm gonna be using the RefectoCil 3.1 in light brown, this is an eyebrow and a eyelash tint

um then you're gonna need a developer, this is the Oxidant 3% 10 Volume developer also

from RefectoCil.

Now I'm just gonna put about one to two centimeters of this paste in this shot glass.

Don't ask me why I have a shot glass, I don't drink, so I use it for eyebrow tints and then

I'm just gonna mix this with 10 drops, four five six seven, ten drops of the developer

and now using this little plastic thing I'm just gonna mix it until it's very, very well

mixed and it's just this one kind of consistent paste.

Ok and now your gel should look something like this.

It's kind of reddish but it doesn't translate onto the eyebrow.

Now the next step you can skip if you don't wanna do it, but it does make your life a

lot easier.

I'm just gonna use some Vaseline, plain old Vaseline and a qtip to put this around my

eyebrow where I don't want the color to go.

You don't have to use like a shit ton excuse me, a lot of this um just so the color doesn't

affect the skin around where you actually want to place it, but do make sure that this

doesn't get onto your hairs, otherwise they will not get dyed.

Ok, now using a qtip I'm just gonna apply the color all over my eyebrow.

I also kind of back comb it, so it really gets into those roots.

It doesn't matter if you go a little out, that is not a problem at all that's why we

put the vaseline there.

Ok and now that I've placed that I'm gonna use another cupid, cupid?

Oh my god, q tip and wipe the excess color around my eyebrow off and this is just a lot

easier if you used the vaseline before, but as I said, you don't have to use the Vaseline.

Ok and now I just do the same thing on the other side, I know that it takes me about

a minute or two so I leave it on for that much longer, it says to leave it on between

5 and 10 minutes, I know my hair is very um light so it doesn't take color very well so

I'm gonna leave it on for 10 minutes and I'll check back with you then.

Ok so it's been on for 10 minutes, I look kind of crazy and what I do now, I just fold

toilet paper into something like this, I make it wet and then I just rub it off

and as you can tell it dyed the hairs really well.

This will still get a little lighter um during the next few days, because first of all where

the skin is dyed it will get lighter and the hairs themselves will get a little lighter

as well and now about another minute has passed, so I'm gonna take off this eyebrow as well.

Yay I have eyebrows again!

So as you can tell that was really, really simple, so do try if you want to dry.. why

do I always say dry?

Dye your eyebrows.

So I hope that you like this video, please leave me a sumbs thumbs up if you did.

You can also subscribe right here and hit that notification bell because my videos come

out every Tuesday and Friday, but also days in between, if I have time to make videos,

so I really hope I'll see you next time, bye bye!
