Google Calendar adds "Out of Office", TickTick's new theme, Evernote's new Premium monthly & more - Duration: 5:20.

So as I mentioned before this will be the last feature before I go on vacation so many apologies

Um, but it's a good point to ask you guys

So without further ado, let's dive into this week here on the software pulse

so first off is evernote evernote have adapted their pricing a little I definitely on the UK side and they're showing a

per month pricing for Evernote premium

So this new pricing adaption is for premium, of course a couple of months ago

We lost evident Plus which was the middle bracket between basic and premium and now premium is for pound

99m months I'll include the u.s

Pricing below but this is a sort of a slightly different adoption

Than many people going for the yearly accounts on the premium for Evernote

so it's a big change monthly is definitely a different story for Evernote and they've also updated their

Yearly pricing for business. So now per user it's 109 pound

So that's actually good to see a nice adaption there. So next up in news is Google Tasks

Google Tasks had now

The lineup in G suite so that means any Google Apps

users will now get access to Google Tasks as a core experience of

Their setup and that's sweet. So that's a really nice addition. Of course, Google Tasks

I can definitely see rolling out on web very soon

And I believe they're going to be adding more and more functionality to it as time goes on as well as how Microsoft to do

sort of rally on I believe they're very similar in style and

Definitely company smells. So let's see how that pans out. So next up is Google Calendar

So Google's obviously and a good week Google Calendar have released a new

out-of-office feature allowing you to set out of office times and they could be for weekends or

even holidays but during this period of time it will stay tuned your calendar that you are clearly out of office and you cannot be

Booked and this is helpful for many of the new applications coming out allowing you to book through Google Calendar

Making it a bit more aware that this is your own personal time now

It's great as well because you can now set working hours which makes it a bit more definitive

Especially if you work with different time zones and different clients as well

So next up is Zen kit Zen kit. The pablor project management resource has released eight new languages

So that becomes more available and widely available

In those eight languages, so it's definitely worth checking them out. If it's one of the languages that meets your criteria

So ticktick have a brand new theme and that's the world cup theme at the moment. It's to russia

2018 well camp and ticktick have jumped on board with that. You can definitely access that in the pro experience

I'll definitely check out and add that in the description

If it's something that you can get on the free account, too

And finally, we had a big outage this week with slack slack was out for about three and a half hours

which doesn't seem a long time but pretty much all workspaces in slack were out which made a

Huge issue for a lot of us and worldwide customers that use slack. Of course, we hear that

I believe it's only eight million users or daily users of slack which seems a little low still but still a map

Imagine how many issues that caused for the workplace?

the outage went out for three and a half hours and they stated everything on social media and

Even two days after there was in small outage as well

So there was a couple of bugs creeping in the system, which I definitely think they'll be getting fixed

So guys that was this week here on the software pulse some nice adaptations, but not really any large future releases

Good Morning everyone! Today I thought I would film a vlog in German

So I just woke up

and made my green juice

At the moment I like to always make juice in the mornings

and this one is with apple, celery, cucumber and Ginger

it's really very good

if you ever have the chance to buy a juicer, I can really recommend it

because I think its a lot of fun and the juices always taste amazing

and now I am going to do my make-up

and the we have to go the office

and yeah, I hope you guys enjoy this vlog

I am now almost ready to go. I just have to pack my sport clothes with me

and I am also packing a little something for lunch for the office

today I cooked some buckwheat

and at the office we always have a little salad or so

so that we always have something healthy but also filling for lunch

and I also still need to pack a little breakfast

and today I think I will just have a couple of bananas and a couple of oranges

alright, I am done

Today it is raining, and its around 16 degrees celsius

so a little colder than the nice warm summer weather we have had lately

but as of next weekend, or actually as of this weekend it should be really nice again

But I also like it when its a bit cooler

it's also very nice, I don't like it when it's too hot either

and of course it's nicer to work when its raining a bit

so if you don't know

or if you haven't watched any of my other videos

except for these "how I learned German" or "how I like Germany" videos,

then, I am an entrepreneur

me and my boyfriend we have a company called Kia-Charlotta

and yeah, thats where I pretty much have to go now everyday, sometimes weekends too

and to work and I like it a lot, I love what I do

we are doing quite well, we are still a start-up

and I share our start-up journey in my other videos, of course in English

I do prefer speaking English

and later I am going to talk a little bit about

what fluent means to me

and in general about this video where I talk about how I learned German in two months

because I think there are some differing opinions

I totally understand why some would find that too unbelievable

and maybe I didn't express myself correctly

yeah, I am ging to talk about that a little

but yeah, now I have to go and I, see you soon!

I am having a little..well not break..I never actually take a coffee break or anything

I always drink it while working

I am currently working on a presentation which we send to some potential customers

and I am always so to say in charge of the creative side

I always put the presentations together so that they look somewhat nice

of course we also have a design partner

they do our logos and other marketing material

I only do some pre work and then I forward it to them

I think its a lot of fun

I case you don't know

I case it your first time on my channel

I wanted just let you guys also know what we do

so Kia-Charlotta, I already told you, is the name of the company

and we create vegan cosmetics

so 100% vegan cosmetics which also natural

currently we are only creating nail polish

and nail polish can unfortunately never be 100% natural

it is however "14 free"

which means that it does not include 14 most toxic ingredients still used in nail polish today

okay that was a mouthful for me

so I am on my way to the supermarket

because I am so hungry or we are so hungry, me and Alex

I did take something with me, Buckwheat, which I already told you

But we also need something for tonight

because we are going to the gym and afterwards the stores will be already closed

thats why I have to buy something now

and I also feel like bread or something that would be very filling

Guys its raining! It's so difficult to vlog when its raining

We are about to have lunch and I wanted t show you guys what we are having

if you didn't know, I am vegan, have been for four years already

and thats why everything is without meat, eggs or milk

heres the Buckwheat which I made

some bread

then we have avocado with a little salad

and I also bought some vegan cheese

and this one is really the best vegan "cheese" out there

I don't really like any other vegan "cheese's", but this one tastes really good

and then a little hummus which we can put on our bread

Ok everyone. It is now almost half past 5

and I already look a little tired

I think in around two hours we will head to the gym

so I still have some work to do

and I wanted to shortly explain why I wanted to make this vlog in German

Firstly I think it's a good challenge

because I quite a shy person

It does scare me a little bit to make a video in German

I always think that in a video my German should also be 100% perfect

second, I made a video already six month ago

where I share how I learned fluent German in 6 months

and I completely understand that there a few people who cannot believe that

there are also a couple of people who find it terrible of me to even say that

and I guess I can understand that too

I know I don't have to explain my self to anybody

and only I can know what happened (to me) 5 years ago

and of course I am much better now compared to 5 years ago

and back then, I would say, that I spoke German quite fluently

even though my vocabulary was still relatively small

and never studied it in school nor did I ever take a course

except for this one A1 course

I really learned it just by speaking

which is why my grammar is not perfect

which I actually already told everyone in that video

In my opinion my German is fluent

maybe fluent means something different to everybody

but it is 100% not perfect

for me fluent doesn't mean that it needs to be perfect

and, there were also a couple of people who just couldn't believe that I can speak perfect German

and I actually never said that I could

I can't speak perfect German

I I think it's a shame that someone would say this to someone who wants to learn fluent German

I think thats the number one thing that most people are scared of when it comes to speaking German

because they are scared if they are perfect enough or not

they are scared to order something from the bakery or ask something from a stranger

they get too worried if they can say it perfectly enough

and, in my opinion, you can only learn with practise

and I am so happy that other than maybe videos, I was never really scared to speak my German (even if it was a bit shitty)

so yeah, thats what I think

of course, I am sure many of you were right - maybe my German is not fluent if it means it has to be perfect

but I did learn pretty good German within two months

so that I also got a job

I did actually lose it swell because I was probably to shy with my German

and my vocabulary for the area I was working in was also not good enough

and I can admit that

but I could otherwise talk with people, have good conversations

talk with my boyfriends parents (who have a strong dialect btw)

I just came by with my German rather well

it didn't really stop me from doing anything

so yeah, I just wanted to explain that shortly

I think everyone should rather just talk and try to have a good life in Germany

and not think too much about having your German be absolutely perfect

and not think if it is actually fluent or not

I think it is fine and if you don't, well thats not so bad is it? ;)

now I have to continue with work

I just edited a "normal English" video for my channel

I should also try to get that uploaded today

and then I shall continue with that presentation

and then my work day will be done with and we will go to the Gym

which I am looking forward to

and yeah, I will see you guys later then

we now got out of the office and are heading to the Gym

we try to go to the Gym three times a week

we always go with Alex and his brother

and they always lift some weights

and I just do some body weight exercises

and then some cardio as well

see, thats how I speak German (LOL)

so we are now back home

we just ate something small, I only ate an apple actually

because it actually quite late already, almost 10 pm

we are slowly going to go to bed

and I wanted to end the vlog here for you guys

I hope you guys enjoyed it

If you are watching this and learning German, I hope that

you try and work hard. So try to speak as good and much as you can

I know a lot of people are scared to speak a new language in the beginning

and thats how I pretty much learned it

I of course also hope that no one watches this only for learning German because my German is not perfect

I encourage you to take courses and learn the grammar properly

I know for sure that my German was not 100% perfect in this vlog

I still get around pretty well here in Germany

and hopefully someday I will take more time to learn the grammar a little bit better

because of course it would help me a lot if I would improve my German

I would just hope people would be so scared to "just speak"

In the beginning it was of course difficult and scary to speak with strangers

because I wasn't sure at all if it was correct what I was saying

I was scared if it would sound right or if someone would even understand me

but a lot of people did actually understand me and when not it wasn't too bad

you are allowed to repeat and try again

Hoy! Welcome to the Analysis of FE Three Houses from the latest E3!

We were ALL waiting for more informations about this game

which is the first on home console since 2008!

And this trailer has a lot of little details!

I've already watched a few analsises, more focused about the gameplay, the troops and the new classes (links in the description)

so I won't talk about this subject ^^

Thoses analysises are availble only in english!

At the very beginning we can see 3 emblems, standing for the Three Houses

The game's name.

Then I wondered why the crests were at different place on the map

And if we read the map, we can see:

"Blaidad", for Dimitri Alexander Blaidad (DAB)

"Regan", for Claude von Regan!

and "Hræsvelgr", for Edelgard von Hræsvelgr

We still have no further informations for the main figure, Byleth.

I looked for mythology and etymology references, trying to imagine what kind of story awaits us.

First, "Byleth" or Beleth. He's described as a King of Hell, leading demons, omen of the end of everything

I dunno if this give us something solid to imagine, but...

Maybe it means that Byleth, just like Daraen, may be an ennemi at first, but an ally in the end.

For Edelgard von Hræsvelgr, well Edelgard doesn't mean anything

At least anything related to the game

But her family name comes from Norse Mythology

She is a giant eagle, blowing a very cold wind

That wind was called "Helgardh"

Why am I talking about those kind of details?

Well, it's all because of the Japanese name of the game: Fire Emblem 風花雪月 (fuukasetsugetsu)

It represents the praise of the nature and means "Wind, flower, snow, moon" [Thanks Google Translate >w<]

The four elements were standing for the four seasons at the Edo period

The summer wind, when the fūrin (風鈴) [japanese chimes] clattered

Often represented with vibrant green shades

Spring and the flower seasons, most likely the cherry blossoms

It's color is pink

Winter, covered by snow

A cold season represented by a cold color: blue

And automn, when all the leaves turn yellow-ish

when it rains a lot and we can see the reflection of the moon on the water

That four colors are used by the four characters

The lyrics of the song actually remind me of those four elements

When she says "i'll soar away", it's like the wind was blowing

At dawn she kinda dissapear, even if she's still here somehow, like the moon

In other FE, wind tomes had the same moon design

I dunno if it's related of not, but the upper crest

right in the middle of this symetric crests circle

remind me the fire tome!

This crest seems a lot more important than the others, it appears several times in the trailer!

Plus, Fire is a persitent theme in the video

But, well, it's not like the game's name is FIRE Emblem...

I'm wondering what is the matter with those crests that Edelgard is talking about...

and why 5 of the crests looks broken

I only recognize the 3 emblems of the map, but no other...

But this crest reminds me of the Exalt from Awakening X3

I guess it is not related at all, but oh well XD

Let's come bak to the Emblem of this game, I think that it actually looks like Heroes Emblem

At the end of the trailer, we can see a girl that looks like a Manakete

With her green hair, her childish look

and her sentence "Do not forget me", as if she was waiting here for a long moment

I saw that a loooot of people thinks it's Tiki or one of her reincarnations...

But I actually think it's Nowi!

Just look at their colors:

Tiki wears red and pink clothes, while Nowi wears purple and pink ones.

Those at the same as the girl sleeping!

There's also a few more details on her clothes that are like Nowi's:

her tiara is frilled with little pink hearts, and her main clothing too

Nowi has the same kind of hearts on her own clothes

Well, I don't give any proof it's Nowi, just saying they look alike. That may be Nah, because of her hair, or just a new character!

But this video is full of supposition and theories

We'll only know the truth when the game will release ;w;

Report: The Magic make huge free agency decision on Aaron Gordon - Duration: 5:25.

Football News24/7  Aaron Gordon recently made it clear that he wanted to stay with the Orlando Magic and re-sign with them as a restricted free agent this summer

 So it came as no surprise when news broke on Sunday night that two parties had come to an agreement

 According to ESPN's Marc J. Spears, the power forward has agreed a four-year, $84 million deal

 This is less than the max contract that Gordon wanted but it's still a significant reward for coming off a career year

Raising his game  Last season, he averaged career highs of 17.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2

3 assists per game.  He has established himself as the face of the rebuilding Magic franchise and although the team declined to offer him an extension last year which allowed him to hit free agency, they had no plans of letting him go

 "We have a great deal of respect for Aaron as a person and a player," Magic general manager John Hammond told The Undefeated recently

 "He has tremendous value to our organisation and our hope is that he is with the Magic long term

"  The team has now made that happen and the athletic big man can now continue to develop in Florida

 Orlando selected him with the fourth overall pick in the 2014 draft and he's now proved that he's more than just a dunker

 He added to his game last year as he became a decent three-point shooter, hitting 33

6 percent from downtown. Biding his time  Despite the team's failings in recent seasons, the 22-year-old is prepared to be patient and is hoping to change the team's fortunes in the near future

 "It's been a heartbreaker. It really shows what you are made of," Gordon said. "But all I am going to do is keep taking the right actions

Continue to work and play the right way until we get to the time where we're ready to make steps and waves in the playoffs and win championships

"  There was strong interest in his services as the likes of the Indiana Pacers, Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns were all keeping an eye on his situation

 But the former University of Arizona product believes the Magic are heading in the right direction and has now underlined his commitment with a new long-term deal

Watching for Nuclear Attack at the Top of the World - Duration: 3:00.

The shortest route between Russia and the United States is over the north pole.

So if the Cold War had ever become Hot, the bombs would have been going straight over here.

This is Tuktoyaktuk, on the Arctic Ocean, in the Canadian Northwest Territories.

And that behind me with the domes

was once the military's DEW Line: the Distant Early Warning Line.

Or at least, part of it.

The DEW Line was built in the 1950s:

57 radar bases ranging all the way from the Aleutian Islands to Greenland.

They looked to the sky around the clock,

and if any aircraft showed up on radar that weren't supposed to be there:

well, there was a chance that those were Soviet bombers carrying nuclear weapons

to North American targets,

and the governments would have somewhere between an hour and four hours

to scramble some sort of response.

Construction of the DEW Line was an enormous operation.

Thousands and thousands of people had to be transported to the Arctic,

provided with food and housing and the hundreds of thousands of tons of

equipment and supplies that they'd need to build the Line.

But the military is good at logistics,

or at least, the vast number of civilian contractors they hired were.

All the bases were completed in just two and a half years,

and North America was prepared for Soviet attack,

at the cost of around half a billion dollars from the two governments.

There were other costs too, less financial:

for a lot of the folks that lived near the DEW Line sites,

the sudden influx of people and equipment destroyed their way of life;

although that's a story that I am not qualified to tell.

The construction also contaminated a lot of the local environment:

standards then weren't what they are now,

and the cleanup is still going on.

And for all that, the DEW Line lasted about five years until it was obsolete.

Because shortly after it was completed, both the Soviet Union and the United States

started to put their nuclear warheads not on aircraft, but on intercontinental ballistic missiles.

They didn't eight or nine hours of flight over the pole, instead

the first wave of attack would come from rockets that would take half an hour

and go literally over the top of the DEW Line.

Half of these stations were shut down a few years later.

The rest of the Line, including this station here,

well, they played a role in air defense.

If they weren't here, then the Soviet Union could have theoretically still sent bombers over the pole.

But they weren't the shield that North America hoped that they would be.

US President Eisenhower, in his memoirs,

said that military technology... well, "if it works, it's obsolete".

The DEW Line kept running, though, at least until the 90s,

when a more modern system was constructed.

Now, this site is part of the North Warning System,

part of a modern radar defence around the whole continent

that can detect basically anything inbound at any altitude.

Which is why I'm not allowed near it.

Governments on this side of the pole want to be sure: the Cold War might be over,

but just in case, they'd better keep watching.

hey guys it's K-Ninja here and if you're at all into self publishing make

get into it let's talk about the ultimate strategy now recently I figured

out a strategy in Kindle publishing which I believe is a real game-changer

now I know a lot of you who think you're advanced publishers you're thinking what

is he talking about ultimate strategy I already know everything I'm an advanced

publisher I've got hundreds of books I'm an advanced publisher I know every

strategy out there I've been doing this for years and what I say to that is

that's just ignorance like to think that you know everything to think that there

is no strategy better than what you're doing it's kind of ignorant and if you

maintain that mentality you're basically just going to be missing out now I don't

feel sorry for you I don't even think about you the only thing I think about

is this strategy I've known about this strategy for a little while now and I

never told anyone about it because I was testing it and I was using it and I

thought wow if everyone knew how to do this if everyone knew what I'm doing and

how to do this exactly if all publishers did this it would destroy the very face

of the publishing industry as we know it like an atomic bomb this strategy is

equivalent to back in the war where everyone's kind of fighting it out

trying to succeed with their little guns and their little tanks and then one

little huge bomb drops out of the sky and boom it'll glitter rates everything

now I'm not for war or weapons of mass destruction or anything like that I'm

against that right I like peace so don't get the wrong idea I'm just making a

compare is as to how powerful this strategy

actually is because it is that powerful in any normal money-hungry publisher who

figured out this strategy on their own perhaps is basically going to never tell

anyone about it and they're hoping they're hoping no one else figures it

out before they go to sleep every night they

pray please don't let anyone else figure this thing out another day I need to

just have this strategy all to myself one more day I don't want anyone to know

about it and I think that's where the normal money-hungry publisher would

think like because the strategy is that good it's like they have the bomb when

everyone else is fighting with little hand pistols

it's a devastatingly unfair strategy and like I said every normal publisher will

never reveal this they will take it to their deathbed because it's that

powerful because any publisher that learns it has a severely unfair

advantage over the competition you see the competition they're kind of all

doing the same thing you know most have been brainwashed more or less to believe

that there's only one way you can do things but you don't want to do with

everyone else is doing because you have no advantage by doing what everyone else

is doing if you want real results in publishing you have to do what other

people are not doing and yeah this ultimate strategy nobody else is doing

it at least not yet but yeah a normal publisher would never tell anyone else

about this and if you wanted to know a little something more about being a

kindle publisher then just click the little card right there but I'm a little

crazy but yeah this one this is a game changer and any doubters any people who

think you know it's not possible it's impossible because actually what this

strategy can do it may seem impossible and in a way yes it very much renders

the impossible possible but yeah to any doubters out there I'd say well it's

kind of food foolish to doubt something that you

don't even know what it is because I never actually told you what it is oh
