Every song you make and every record you record is a journey into the unknown. Again and again.

At start, you are confronted with a white sheet of paper. You try to create something that does not exist before.

You have to enter new territory.

On tour it is the same: foreign cities, foreign hotel beds, foreign stages, foreign audience.

When I go to bed, I wake up and think: Will our fans love the new songs, they have never listened before?

Are we well prepared, does the plan work? This is the leap into the cold water every time.

Of course this creates suspense and great expectations, which you have to cope with.

At some point you start to look, what does help you on this tour. Things you can trust.

The cup of tea that you always need as a singer.

We have Cordon Blue with us, who always drives with us in the car and has a front seat at the mixing console.

And as crazy that sounds, that calms us down. The ritual, before we go on stage.

I know, no matter what happens, they are here with us, tonight we are safe.

Also the car is such a constant for me. It accompanies us from city to city.

When the dark red car is arriving, they know: Körner is here.

With the cars we get the band and the complete equipment once in a circle across Germany.

It's easier to keep staying in your comfort zone. You don't risk anything, for sure.

But as long as you do something you believe in and move forward, you will gain so much more.

Le corps d'un homme a été retrouvé ce matin par les secours dans les décombres des immeubles vétustes effondrés la veille dans le centre-ville de Marseille, a annoncé ce mardi 6 novembre à la presse le procureur de la République près des lieux

Peu optimiste face à la situation", le ministre de l'Intérieur, Christophe Castaner, arrivé sur place lundi soir, a précisé que huit personnes étaient "susceptibles" de se trouver dans l'immeuble du 65 rue d'Aubagne quand celui-ci s'est effondré, avec le bâtiment mitoyen du 63, vers 9 heures lundi

Huit victimes potentielles donc. Éclairés par d'imposants spots lumineux, les marins-pompiers ont poursuivi toute la nuit les recherches dans les gravats, un amas d'une profondeur de 15 mètres

Régulièrement, des chiens inspectaient également la zone, à la recherche d'éventuelles victimes

"L'urgence c'est de sauver des vies", a martelé Christophe Castaner, qui a rappelé que les opérations dureraient encore "plusieurs jours"

Le ministre a expliqué que les secours intervenaient "de la façon la plus méticuleuse possible"

"On a découvert dans la première partie des opérations de déblaiement quelques poches de survie qui font qu'il y a encore peut-être de l'espoir d'identifier et de retrouver une personne qui peut être sauvée", a-t-il ajouté

À l'aube, les marins-pompiers avaient achevé de dégager les gravats effondrés sur la rue d'Aubagne elle-même, y retrouvant notamment une voiture totalement aplatie, a constaté un journaliste de l'AFP

A proximité, le jeune serveur d'un bar observait les recherches, en larmes. Lui connaissait bien une jeune Italienne vivant dans un des immeubles écroulé, et dont personne n'a de nouvelles depuis lundi: "C'était une jeune fille géniale, elle révisait chez nous", a-t-il confié à l'AFP

L'un des deux bâtiments qui s'est effondré, au 63 de la rue, était "fermé et muré", selon la mairie, qui l'avait racheté après avoir pris un arrêté de péril en 2008

Au numéro 65, 9 appartements sur 10 étaient en revanche habités. En copropriété, il avait fait l'objet "d'une expertise des services compétents qui avait donné lieu à la réalisation de travaux de confortement permettant la réintégration des occupants", a assuré la mairie

Le troisième immeuble, au numéro 67, était abandonné et muré depuis l'été 2012. "Ce dramatique accident pourrait être dû aux fortes pluies qui se sont abattues sur Marseille ces derniers jours", selon la mairie, qui a évacué et relogé 100 habitants des immeubles à proximité

Mais plusieurs représentants de l'opposition ont fait le lien avec l'ampleur du problème du logement indigne à Marseille, notamment dans le centre

La mairie a engagé depuis 2011 un vaste plan de requalification du centre-ville, mais sans pouvoir véritablement remédier au problème

Selon un rapport remis au gouvernement en 2015, le logement indigne menace la santé ou la sécurité de 100

000 habitants de Marseille. Mardi matin, le ministre de l'Intérieur a évoqué quelque 6000 copropriétés "indignes" à Marseille

Hello and welcome guys into a new chapter, welcome into Gauss's Closed Surface.

Gauss' law considers a hypothetical (imaginary) closed surface or Gaussian surface enclosing

the charge distribution The Gaussian surface mimics the symmetry of

the charge distribution So let's start by explaining what a close

surface mean? For Gauss' law we're going to have to evaluate

the electric flux through a CLOSED SURFACE: like the surface of a balloon, or a soda can,

or a cube... or just some imaginary surface in space like this

So, to calculate the flux, you have to break your surface up into little "patches", and

add up (integrate!) allthe small fluxes through each little patch.

Of course, any surface can be thought of as the sum of a bunch of little patches. Just

imagine taking any surface and drawing a little "grid" on it, completely covering it.

Each tiny patch will have tiny area (dA). So, the flux through a closed surface is the

SUM (really, INTEGRAL) of the flux through all the patches covering the surface.

The convention is always that dA points everywhere out of a closed surface.

We write this flux (net flux) formally as the following formula. Flux equal integration

over a close surface E vector dot dA vector. (The weird circle around the integral is to

remind you that we're talking about an integral, or sum, all the way around some closed surface!) In

a crude sense, flux counts how many "field lines" pierce out a surface!

In this example it is required to calculate the electric flux, so we have to divide this

surface into three areas. Area a, area b and area c as shown in the

figure. To solve this problem we have to integrate

over the closed surface. This surface in divided into three parts as I mentioned before, so

we have to integrate over the three parts. Starting from part a, cosine theta is -1 since

angle is 180 degree. Then the integration is equal to – E times A. where A is the

area of the circle that is equal to pi time radius square.

Moving to part b, cosine theta is zero since its perpendicular. So the answer for integration

is zero Finally, part c, cosine theta is one since

angle is zero degree. Then the integration is equal to E times A.

Finally, finding the total flux by adding the three previous integrations to get zero.

Consider this example, it is required to find the total flux in the cube.

Knowing that the electric field is uniform from left to the right, then only two sides

of the cube will experience a flux. The other sides will be perpendicular to the field with

zero flux. One of the sides that experience a flux will

be equal to –EA and the other will experience a flux equal to EA.

So, the total flux will be zero.

What is Remembrance Day? - Behind the News - Duration: 3:45.

BEN NIELSEN: The community of Bridgewater in the Adelaide Hills

has never had a proper war memorial.

So, these kids and others from a local school

decided to design and build a new one.

After five long years of work,

it's now nearly finished.

Can you tell me what is left to do?

Well, there's going to be a boomerang with the rising sun,

just up the back, and then a sign with 'remember' on it

down at the front.

And some fences and some pavers.

But that's about it, really.

The boomerang with the rising sun, what does that mean?

That symbolises that all Australians were part of the war.

Memorials and monuments like this one

are a common feature of Remembrance Day commemorations

right around the world.

At 11am, on the 11th day, of the 11th month,

people gather at places

like the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne

or the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.

They stand still and silent

and then listen to a bugler playing The Last Post.

People have been marking Remembrance Day like this since 1919.

But back then, it was actually called Armistice Day

because it marked the anniversary of the day the armistice was signed

and the First World War finally ended.

NEWSREEL REPORTER: November 11, Armistice Day.

At the time, hundreds of people gathered in London

to celebrate the end of the conflict and to remember those who died.

People did the same here in Australia.

The tradition of silence on Remembrance Day

was actually suggested by an Aussie journalist called Edward Honey.

He thought it'd be a sacred gesture

to acknowledge those who died fighting for peace.

Britain's king at the time, King George V, liked the idea

and declared two minutes' silence across the British Empire.

Since the first Armistice ceremony,

people have added new traditions to the commemorations,

like wearing red poppies.

That was inspired by a poem called In Flanders Fields,

which describes the poppies

that sprung up on abandoned battlefields in France and Belgium.

Later on, in 1945, when World War II ended,

the Australian and British governments

changed the name of Armistice Day to Remembrance Day instead,

so the people who served in all wars could be remembered together.

The Last Post, poetry, poppies

and a bunch of other traditions are still important parts

of the memorials that happen today...

..along with places like this in the Adelaide Hills,

that will proudly form

the centrepiece of these kids' commemorations for years to come.

Well, I did have a great grandad, my mum did,

and he fought in World War I.

And I've never actually thought of him as a soldier before,

as my relative, and now that there's a place here,

I just find that it's easier.

It makes me feel happy because it's a great place to meet up and...

..it's in a good spot.

It's special to me because it's a place not just to remember,

but it's a place for...

..everyone.

It's not just for one subject.

It's sort of a place where you can do anything, really.

The New Orleans Pelicans hit the ground running to start to the NBA season, winning four-straight out of the gate.

Unfortunately, they cooled off quickly, dropping their next five games and now look to right the ship Monday night on the road against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

One key to the tough stretch was the absence of Anthony Davis, who missed three games.

His return last game against the San Antonio Spurs wasn't enough to help get back in the win column, as the team lost 109-95.

Davis is seemingly good to go for this game against Russell Westbrook and the Thunder, but the Pelicans will again be without Elfrid Payton.

Payton is dealing with an ankle injury, and as Daniel Sallerson of the Pelicans reported, he said he could return within a week or so.

The Pelicans have tried two different lineups (which included Davis) to replace the point guard, but neither worked out incredibly well.

With that said, let's take a look at the projected starting lineup and roster for the Pelicans Monday night.

The Pelicans opted to start Wesley Johnson over Tim Frazier last game against the Spurs, which was more than a bit surprising.

But Frazier wound up playing just seven minutes in that game.

With that said, there's a chance Alvin Gentry could opt to change things up once again with the lineup in an attempt to snap this losing streak.

Johnson only played 21 minutes in his starting role, while Julius Randle saw 26 minutes off the bench, along with 19 for Ian Clark and 14 for Darius Miller.

This could be a situation to monitor ahead of game time, but the Spurs have a bit more size than the Thunder.

In turn, it's expected that Frazier will return to the starting five.

On the other hand there's a much more serious side to our work.

We plan to create real training solutions,

different processes too, to be able to give people an immersive experience of dangerous situations

without really putting them in danger.

I've always loved new technology, ever since I was little.

But the day I tried a virtual reality headset (so a device you wear on your head),

I could tell that it was something really revolutionary.

I'd never felt anything like it before.

And when I saw people's reactions when trying different solutions,

I thought, "This is going places". And that's where we came in.

I think what makes the difference is that we have a real team, based in Luxembourg.

A real production studio, where we can be totally flexible and respond to client needs very quickly.

I think that's what clients like about us too.

Of course, you need funding to get any project off the ground.

To find financing I naturally looked to BIL's innovation department,

where we now no longer have the standard client-bank relationship, but one that has evolved over time.

It's a real trust relationship.

I have plenty of stories. But I can think of three good ones to tell.

The first one is just about the first time I ever rented an office.

I was all by myself, sitting in a chair at a desk, with a pen and paper.

I just thought, "What am I doing here?"

The second story was really emotional, it's the first contract I signed,

so the first person who really had faith in us.

When he found out he was our first client,

he opened a cupboard and brought out a bottle of 18 year old Scotch to toast the occasion.

And the third story, which happened pretty recently,

is when the new BIL shareholders, Legend Holdings, came to BIL.

I got the chance to show them my solutions in virtual reality, in augmented reality.

It was nerve-wracking of course, but a great opportunity.

We've been here a year – almost a year.

But if I could go back in time

I'd find the Matthieu from one year ago, put my hand on his shoulder and say,

"It's going to be fine, don't worry, it's not as bad as you think and everything is going to work out!"

If I could give one piece of advice to a young person trying to launch their own start-up,

rule number one would be to surround yourself with the right people.

When you're getting started, there are three kinds of people you'll meet:

those who don't believe in your idea at all,

those who don't really believe but hope that it might work out someday, and those who believe.

By definition, I like to surround myself with people who believe in us and are going to help us move forward.

Sitting on the Batmobile is already a childhood dream come true.

The thing about Batman is, he doesn't have superpowers.

But he's smart, he's this genius who seizes opportunity, and that lets him take on the best.

I really like that about him. Of course he's also rich, and that helps a lot too.
