Someone tells you, "I am seeking Allah (ﷻ)" and then what does he do? He keeps reading in books.

You will not find our Lord (ﷻ) between the lines. You won't find Allah (ﷻ) between the lines.

"Ok. I will go to the scholars", he tells you. You won't find Allah (ﷻ) in the speech of the scholars

You will not find Allah (ﷻ) within anything since Allah, Exalted and Glorified is He, is within you;

inside of you.

And if you don't find Him (ﷻ) within you, you won't be able to witness Him (ﷻ) anywhere else

You should seek Allah (ﷻ) within the 'realm of command' that is inside of you

There is a great world inside of you called the realm of what ? Command.

There you can sit with our Lord (ﷻ), and talk to Him (ﷻ) in the realm of (command).

You talk back and forth with Him (ﷻ). (After all), He (ﷻ) is your Beloved.

There are no rules ...

(Rules like) a servant and a Lord apply while you are here in this 'realm of creation'

But when you enter the 'realm of command' these rules no longer apply. You won't find ...

You will witness that our Lord is your hearing, your sight, your hand, and your speech …. He (ﷻ) is all of your faculties

And you will find that all of your created attributes will be replaced by the Real's attributes

And between you and our Lord (ﷻ), there is no …. No.

(Such separation) is in the realm of creation where there is a worshipper and the One worshipped;

where there is a God and a thrall. But once you enter the realm of command,

you will find yourself ...

The difference between the two realms is one gaze; a gaze of love

One gaze of love and you will find Allah's lights dawning inside your heart

A gaze of what ? (Love). Just one gaze.

And then you will find our Lord (ﷻ) that you keep looking for in the realm of creation,

you will find Him (ﷻ) in the realm of command

This is why each one of us when …

But you are neglecting our Lord (ﷻ)

He (ﷻ) often speaks to you, He wants you to sit with Him, and He (ﷻ) loves you

while you keep ignoring Him (ﷻ) and remain ignorant of Him (ﷻ).(And you call yourself a believer?!)

And you declare al-Shahadah, what kind of a believer are you?!

when you do not realize that our Lord (ﷻ) is within you?

The first level of faith is to realize that our Lord (ﷻ) is within you; that rūḥ inside of you

you should know it; sit with it

And when you remain neglecting our Lord (ﷻ), He (ﷻ) tells you, "I will sit with you despite of you"

So He (ﷻ) brings you an illness that keeps you in bed

What?! You no longer come and go? And yet the world didn't come to an end?

You think that you must (come and go), otherwise the world would collapse. No. The world did not turn upside down.

Everything went on as usual while you are in bed

Who is the One sitting with you? Our Lord (ﷻ)

And you are talking with Whom? (Allah) And our Lord (ﷻ) is talking with you …

"You would have found Me with him"

(Hadith Qudsi), "My servant so-and-so had fallen ill and you visited him not? Did you not know that had you visited him you would have found Me with him?", [Muslim]

Yes. With him, sitting with him.

He (ﷻ) sits with you for a short while, then tells you, "Ok. Get up" and you are healed.

(Typically), your focus is on finding doctors and medications to get rid of what tied you down.

You don't realize that such sitting (could) be worth all of your life

That sitting, O People, is worth all of your life

So try to have this sitting while you are well and healthy

You are healthy, why don't you sit with our Lord (ﷻ) now?

Must our Lord (ﷻ) make you ill in order that you sit with Him (ﷻ)?!

Every day, you should sit with our Lord (ﷻ). Every day sit with your self (nafs) and

talk to our Lord (ﷻ) Who is inside of you; call Him (ﷻ); tell Him "I love you"

"I have no one else besides You, so please Lord! …"
