 But it seems moving across the pond hasn't been the only thing Meghan has changed - her accent has altered too

  Experts claim the way the Duchess of Sussex now pronounces certain words is much more British

 They say it was especially profound during a trip to Birkenhead last month when Meghan told well-wishers "I do appreciate that"

    Assistant professor in linguistics at the University of Toronto, Marisa Brook, told the BBC : "I think a lot of it is deliberate on her part

She's developed a style to be used when directly talking with the British public

 "These are situations where people might be judging her in public instantly, where it really benefits her to sound British and aristocratic

 "If it's conscious I don't think it makes her manipulative or a poser."  Others agree that Meghan, who is due to give birth to her first child this spring, has slightly changed the way she speaks since moving to the UK

 Phonetics professor at the University of Reading, Jane Setter, said Meghan will be adapting to her new home country and it's common for people's accents to change when this happens

 She added: "In a social role like the one Meghan is now in, where she has to meet lots of people and basically make a good impression on them in a short space of time, the ability to do this is very useful

 "But it would be weird to take this too far. I don't think British people would accept her if she suddenly started sounding like she was in the cast of EastEnders - or spoke like the Queen

"  Sociolinguist, Dr Ella Jones from the University of Essex, said the change in Meghan's accent could be down to her wanting to fit in

 She explained: "Someone with lots at stake in trying to 'fit in' or sound like they belong to a new in-group - British royalty, in the case of Meghan - might find accommodation happens quite naturally and quite quickly

Finalmente, si bien la mesa estuvo dedicada en buena parte al aporte que el creador fallecido en 1965 hizo al mundo con su invento, el también ingeniero, amigo y colaborador suyo, Valentín del Rello, fue enfático en que los jóvenes de hoy día deben retomar su espíritu

"(Los jóvenes) no tienen ese espíritu combativo, no tienen ese espíritu de crecer

"No tomemos del legado una cámara, tomemos todo un legado que un niño, desde siendo niño, nos enseñó: que cuando se quiere, se puede", sentenció

Va Museo de la Luz a Mérida Aunque hace un par de años se planteó que el Museo de la Luz tendría una nueva sede a construirse al sur del Museo de las Ciencias Universum, el recinto dedicado al fenómeno físico se levantará en Mérida

 The Writers Guild of America is naming its top screenplays of 2018.  In ceremonies held simultaneously in New York and Los Angeles Sunday night, the 3,700-strong industry union is handing out its annual awards for the best screenplays of the year in both film and television

 Among the Original Screenplay nominees, only WGA nominees Roma, Vice, and Green Book crossed over to received Oscar nods, with Eighth Grade and A Quiet Place failing to make the jump despite significant crossover membership between both organizations

On the adapted side, the Academy nominated all four of the WGA's respective nominees, though it swapped Black Panther's script for The Ballad of Buster Scruggs

   Since 2008, eight of the WGA's Original Screenplay winners have gone on to win the corresponding Oscar

That number holds at eight among the Adapted Screenplay set.  As is the case every year, several of the current season's weightier contenders were ineligible to receive WGA recognition due to the guild's stipulations, which require contenders to be made under WGA watch while adhering to the group's Minimum Basic Agreement bargaining accord

Yorgos Lanthimos' The Favourite — written by Deborah Davis, Tony McNamara — was among the ineligible titles this year, though it still received an Oscar nomination in the Original Screenplay category

   Elsewhere on the awards circuit, the precursor industry guilds have all split their top winners (the Directors Guild chose Roma, the Screen Actors Guild went with Black Panther, and the Producers Guild heralded Green Book), making it difficult to predict the Academy's choice for Best Picture as the Feb

Californias AG says 4 other states will join him in imminently suing Trump over border emergency D

California will imminently challenge President Donald Trumps declaration of a national emergency to obtain funds for a U.S. Mexico border wall, state Attorney General Xavier Becerra said on Sunday.

Definitely and imminently, Becerra told ABCs This Week program when asked whether and when California would sue the Trump administration in federal court. Other states controlled by Democrats are expected to join the effort.

We are prepared, we knew something like this might happen. And with our sister state partners, we are ready to go, he said.

Trump invoked the emergency powers on Friday under a 1976 law after Congress rebuffed his request for dollar 5.7 billion to help build the wall that was a signature 2016 campaign promise.

The move is intended to allow him to redirect money to wall construction despite Congress appropriating it for other purposes .

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra said Sunday that his state and four others will imminently sue President Donald Trump to stop him from using afederal emergency declaration to expand a wall along the U.S. Mexico border

President Trump greeted guests on the tarmac at West Palm Beach International Airport on Friday night, hours after declaring a border national emergency and announcing his plan to redirect dollar 6.5 billion in government dollars to the expansion of a U.S. Mexico border wall

The White House says Trump will have access to about dollar 8 billion. Nearly dollar 1.4 billion was allocated for border fencing under a spending measure approved by Congress last week, and Trumps emergency declaration is aimed at giving him another dollar 6.7 billion for the wall.

Becerra cited Trumps own comment on Friday that he didnt need to do this as evidence that the emergency declaration is legally vulnerable.

Its become clear that this is not an emergency, not only because no one believes it is but because Donald Trump himself has said its not, he said.

Becerra and California Governor Gavin Newsom, both Democrats, have been expected to sue to block Trumps move.

Becerra is leading a group of five Democratic attorneys general who plan to sue in the Ninth Circuit, traditionally Americas most liberal group of courts and judges; the case is ultimately expected to be decided in the U.S. Supreme Court

Becerra told ABC that California and other states are waiting to learn which federal programs will lose money to determine what kind of harm the states could face from the declaration.

He said California may be harmed by less federal funding for emergency response services, the military and stopping drug trafficking.

Were confident there are at least 8 billion ways that we can prove harm, Becerra said.

Three Texas landowners and an environmental group filed the first lawsuit against Trumps move on Friday, saying it violates the Constitution and would infringe on their property rights.

The legal challenges could at least slow down Trumps efforts to build the wall but would likely end up at the conservative leaning U.S. Supreme Court.

Congress never defined a national emergency in the National Emergencies Act of 1976, which has been invoked dozens of times without a single successful legal challenge.

Democrats in Congress have vowed to challenge Trumps declaration and several Republican lawmakers have said they are not certain whether they would support the president.

I think many of us are concerned about this, Republican Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, who chairs the Senate Homeland Security Committee, told NBCs Meet the Press.

Trump could, however, veto any resolution of disapproval from Congress.

White House senior adviser Stephen Miller told Fox News on Sunday that Trumps declaration would allow the administration to build hundreds of miles of border wall by September 2020.

We have 120 odd miles that are already under construction or are already obligated plus the additional funds we have and then we´re going to outlay we´re going to look at a few hundred miles.

Trumps proposed wall and wider immigration policies are likely to be a major campaign issue ahead of the next presidential election in November 2020, where he will seek a second four year term.

Before I show you how to make a natural alternative to petroleum jelly

Lets find out more about petroleum jelly and top things you need to be aware of

I'm sure that many of you have used or at least seen petroleum jelly before

The most famous brand is no other than Vaseline

Have you ever wondered though how it was made and whether this jelly is really beneficial for your health?

Petroleum jelly is a multipurpose salve

that is a by-product of the petroleum manufacturing process from crude oil

It is a non-polar hydrophobic (water-repelling) hydrocarbon

and insoluble in water, unlike glycerol.

It was discovered on an oil rig back in 1859 in Titusville, Pennsylvania, US by workers.

The workers disliked the build-up on their machines

But they used it for any cuts and burns for healing.

It was later refined by a chemist named Robert Chesebrough

This cheap jelly that is mostly used as a moisturiser for a variety of skin problems

Need to go through a refinement process at a high grade.

If not, it will still contain toxic chemicals found in oil.

Although petroleum jelly is effective to moisten skin

and acts as a protective barrier,

It has no significant nutritional value

and can actually interfere with the body's moisturising mechanism

because of its water-repelling characteristics

Columbia University also did a study on Petrolatum impurity - Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons

or (PAH) and linked it to the causes of breast cancer

PAH are found in coal, crude oil and tar deposits as by-products of oil burning

Now you have all of that in mind, lets make your own natural alternative to petroleum jelly!

It's super easy, sustainable and healthy

Fill your stock or soup pot with 3/4 full of water and let it simmer

When bubbles starts to form

put in your small stainless steel bowl in the pot

Pour in the extra virgin coconut oil

My one is kind of solid because of the temperature where I currently live is kind of cool

Stir it well and wait for it to melt

Put in the beeswax. You can also use vegan alternatives such as soywax if you prefer

Beeswax tend to melt more easily than vegetable-based wax

Pour in the extra virgin olive oil and stir

For a refreshing aromatic touch, I am putting in a few drops of peppermint essential oil!

Prepare the glass jar. This jar used to be a strawberry jam jar.

I am reusing it. Use any old glass jar you have too.

Turn off the stove and using the ladle/soup spoon, scoop in the oil into the jar.

This golden yellowish color is normal. It's from the olive oil.

Sit to cool before you pop it n the fridge

Wait for approx. 15-30 minutes in the fridge to make the mixture more solid

Here it is! A softer, safer, more beneficial and more natural alternative to petroleum jelly by Zevaulia

Store it in a cool and dry place. This will last a long time.

Since there's no perservatives, if stored properly it could last until 1 year for best condition.

Pop it in the fridge once in a while within a few months to maintain its solidity if you live in more warmer climates.

There are so many things you can do with this.

Make sure to clean your hands before scooping in or use a spatula

I like to put this above my eyebrows because it tends to get dry

I also like to soothe my hands with this

It is also a great make-up remover that I swear by

and it also moisturises the skin really well at the same time.

This is also a great lip balm

Modular D&D Building AND Terrain Channel Preview - Duration: 4:14.

hey guys i'm steve with botched initiative dot-com and welcome to the

inaugural video for this channel today we're going to be covering preview of

the first series of tutorials that we'll post on the channel so without further

ado let's take a look so what you're looking at here is cutting edge medieval

nerd dollhouse technology with these two pieces I can get six different

configurations one of my biggest pet peeves with like building a piece like

this using traditional methods is that once you build it it's always the same

so it gets stale really fast if every tavern in every town always looks the

same so this is what we came up with to kind of fix that issue let's take a look

at one of the other configurations so you can kind of see what I'm talking

about

okay there is the third configuration so I mentioned there's six different

configurations with these two pieces since this is an L shape you can

obviously move it this way that way put it on the bottom floor this way that way

each time moving the entry points to the building two different locations so if

you're playing more of a tactical game it really adds a lot of variation to the

same building so in the first series of tutorials we're going to be covering how

to make these four by four boxes basically which you can make small

houses or little Garrison's or in this case like a castle piece then we'll move

on to the toppers and then different accessories like balconies and you know

steps etc all super simple all dollar-store foam board with a little

bit of insulation foam you can get away with making it all out of dollar-store

foam board I like the extra rigidity that you get from insulation foam but

all in all I mean you can make a stack of these for a few bucks

very inexpensive one last thing that I wanted to show you is the early stages

of my clip system about six eight months ago I built a gaming table with a

recessed playing area and since then I've really been looking for ways to

capitalize on all that vertical space to make a more 3d playing area and this is

one of the things that I've been working on to kind of help accomplish that

you'll notice that the center piece right here has a

a bridge that it looks like built into the cliff face if you take these parts

see this flat area one of the things that I'm looking at doing right now is

creating like waterfall effects that can be inserted in here lava effects that

can be inserted into here and I say all that with just to give you a better

understanding of what this channel is going to be about

so really modularity is going to be the name of our game so if that sounds like
