Youtube daily report Jul 26 2018

ANNOUNCER: THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN MADE POSSIBLE

BY THE FRIENDS AND PARTNERS OF JOYCE MEYER MINISTRIES.

JOYCE: RUNNING FROM YOUR PROBLEMS NEVER SOLVES THEM.

HIDDEN THINGS ARE THE THINGS THAT MAKE US SICK,

THINGS THAT WE HIDE FROM PEOPLE, THINGS THAT WE DON'T WANT

ANYBODY TO KNOW.

[MUSIC]

JOYCE: I'M DOING A LITTLE TWO-PART SERIES TODAY

ON KEYS TO BREAKTHROUGH.

NEEDING A BREAKTHROUGH BASICALLY MEANS

THAT YOU'VE COME UP AGAINST SOMETHING THAT IS PREVENTING YOU

FROM DOING WHAT YOU REALLY WANT TO DO,

OR FROM BEING WHO YOU REALLY WANT TO BE,

OR HAVING WHAT YOU REALLY WANT TO HAVE.

AND OUR FIRST INCLINATION ALWAYS,

AND IT'S A RIGHT THING TO DO, IS TO PRAY

THAT GOD WILL DELIVER US OR GOD WILL HELP US.

WE ALMOST ALWAYS PRAY FOR GOD TO HELP US,

BUT RARELY DO WE REALLY WANT HIM TO HELP US,

WE WANT HIM DO IT FOR US.

I MEAN, THAT'S, IN ESSENCE, MORE OR LESS WHAT WE'RE SAYING

BECAUSE WHEN YOU ASK GOD TO HELP YOU, THEN THAT MEANS

THAT HE GIVES YOU SOMETHING TO DO.

HE'S NOT GONNA DO ALL THE DOING.

HE GIVES YOU SOMETHING TO DO.

AND I THINK I MADE A FAIRLY GOOD STAB

AT LAYING DOWN THAT POINT PRETTY CLEAR THIS MORNING

BUT JUST IN CASE YOU WEREN'T HERE,

I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT WHEN YOU PRAY AND ASK GOD

TO DO ANYTHING IN YOUR LIFE, YOU NEED TO BE PREPARED

TO LISTEN FOR WHAT HE MAY SAY BACK

OR HOW HE MAY LEAD YOU OR GUIDE YOU,

AND YOU NEED TO BE PREPARED TO DO WHATEVER IT IS

THAT GOD WANTS YOU TO DO.

NOW, LOOK AT ME, GOD IS NOT GOING TO DO

EVERYTHING FOR US WHILE WE SIT BACK

AND DO NOTHING.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: WE'RE PARTNERS WITH GOD,

THAT MEANS THAT HE HAS A PART, YOU HAVE A PART.

YOU CAN'T DO HIS PART AND WE WON'T DO YOUR PART.

WE'RE PARTNERS WITH GOD.

SO, I TALKED ABOUT A COUPLE THINGS THIS MORNING,

AND I WANT TO START NOW WITH IF YOU WANT

TO HAVE A BREAKTHROUGH, YOU GOTTA STOP BLAMING

OTHER PEOPLE AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY.

MOST OF US LIKE TO BLAME EVERYBODY ELSE FOR OUR PROBLEMS.

I DID THAT FOR A LONG TIME.

I WAS ABUSED SEXUALLY BY MY DAD SO EVERY PROBLEM I HAD,

EVERY BAD WAY I ACTED, MY TEMPER,

ANYTIME I FELT SORRY FOR MYSELF, WHATEVER IT IS WAS,

IT WAS ALWAYS, "IF THAT WOULDN'T

HAVE HAPPENED TO ME."

WELL, THERE WERE MANY PROBLEMS CAUSED IN MY LIFE

BECAUSE OF WHAT HAPPENED TO ME, BUT WHEN WE'RE IN CHRIST,

NOW LISTEN, CLEARLY THE BIBLE SAYS

WE BECOME NEW CREATURES, THAT OLD THINGS PASS AWAY.

AND HOW MANY THINGS?

ALL THINGS BECOME BRAND NEW AND THAT DOESN'T MEAN

THAT JUST OVERNIGHT EVERYTHING COMPLETELY CHANGES.

THAT DOESN'T MEAN IF YOU'RE OVERWEIGHT

THE NEXT MORNING YOU WAKE UP AND YOU'RE SKINNY.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: THAT DOESN'T MEAN IF YOU'RE BALD,

THE NEXT MORNING YOU WAKE UP AND YOU HAVE

A FULL HEAD OF HAIR.

I BELIEVE THAT WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A NEW CREATURE

IS THAT WE BECOME NEW SPIRITUAL CLAY.

I BELIEVE IT MEANS THAT GOD PUTS US IN A POSITION

WHERE ALTHOUGH WE MAY HAVE THINGS TO OVERCOME

AND THERE ARE GONNA BE MANY THINGS

THAT WE ARE GONNA HAVE TO LEARN AND ONE OF THEM

IS HEARING FROM GOD AND BEING OBEDIENT TO HIM,

BUT AT THAT POINT WHEN YOU'RE BORN AGAIN

AND RECEIVE CHRIST, NOW LISTEN TO ME,

EVERYTHING THAT GOD HAS PROMISED TO HIS CHILDREN

BECOMES SOMETHING THAT IS POSSIBLE FOR YOU.

IF ANYBODY CAN HAVE ANYTHING THAT GOD OFFERS,

THEN THAT ANYBODY CAN AND SHOULD BE YOU, AMEN?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: YOU SAY, "BUT IT'S NOT MY FAULT."

WELL, WHAT'S HAPPENED TO YOU IN YOUR LIFE

MAY NOT BE YOUR FAULT, MAYBE SOMEBODY HURT YOU

REALLY BAD, MAYBE SOMEBODY STOLE FROM YOU,

LIED TO YOU.

MAYBE YOU WERE ABUSED BY SOMEBODY,

BUT YOU MUST NOT LET IT BECOME AN EXCUSE TO STAY THAT WAY.

THAT'S THE THING THAT CONCERNS ME

IS WHEN WE GET HURT AND THEN WE CARRY THAT AROUND

WITH US ALL OF OUR LIFE AND IT BECOMES AN EXCUSE

TO NEVER GET ANY BETTER.

HOW MANY OF YOU KNOW THAT HUMAN NATURE

LOVES TO BLAME?

FOURTEEN OF YOU KNOW THAT.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: YOU EVER SEE A HUSBAND AND A WIFE LEAVING THE HOUSE

LATE TO GO SOMEWHERE?

THE WIFE SAYS IT'S HIS FAULT, HE SAYS IT'S HER FAULT.

WE'RE JUST NOT VERY GOOD AND JUST SAYING,

"YOU KNOW WHAT?

THAT WAS TOTALLY MY FAULT, I'M REALLY SORRY."

WE TALKED ABOUT THAT A LITTLE BIT THIS MORNING

BUT I THINK IT'S WORTH TALKING ABOUT AGAIN.

"YOU KNOW WHAT?

THAT WAS TOTALLY MY FAULT AND I AM REALLY SORRY."

I WONDER WHY THAT IS SO PAINFUL FOR US.

YOU KNOW WHY?

THE DEVIL MAKES IT PAINFUL BECAUSE HE DOESN'T WANT US

DOING IT BECAUSE HE KNOWS THE POWER

THAT'S AVAILABLE FOR US WHEN WE TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY

FOR OUR ACTIONS, AMEN?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I'M GIVING YOU A HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT

WHICH IS TO GO HOME AND HAVE A MEETING WITH YOURSELF,

A COME TO TRUTH MEETING.

AND SO, ONE OF THE THINGS I'D LIKE YOU TO ASK YOURSELF IS,

"WHAT'S GOING ON IN MY LIFE THAT I'M BLAMING SOMEBODY ELSE FOR

THAT MAYBE IT'S TIME I JUST STOP THAT

AND EVEN IF IT WAS THEIR FAULT, I NOW TAKE RESPONSIBILITY

TO WORK WITH GOD TO FIX IT"?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: NOW, ADAM AND EVE, UH-OH, GENESIS 3:11,

"GOD SAID, 'WHO TOLD YOU THAT YOU WERE NAKED?

HAVE YOU EATEN [FRUIT]

FROM THE TREE OF WHICH I COMMANDED YOU

NOT TO EAT?'

AND THEN THE LORD SAID TO THE WOMAN,

'WHAT IS THIS THAT YOU HAVE DONE?'

AND THE WOMAN SAID, 'THE SERPENT BEGUILED

AND DECEIVED ME, AND I ATE [FROM THE BIDDEN TREE--

FORBIDDEN TREE]'"

SO, SHE DIDN'T SAY, "OH, I DISOBEYED YOU

AND I SINNED."

SHE KIND OF TRIED TO SKIRT AROUND THE ISSUE AND SHE SAID,

"WELL, IT WAS THE DEVIL.

HE MADE ME DO IT."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

SO, THE LORD TURNED FROM EVE AND HE TURNED TO THE SERPENT

AND HE SAYS, "BECAUSE YOU HAVE DONE THIS,

YOU ARE CURSED MORE THAN ALL THE CATTLE,

AND MORE THAN ANY ANIMAL OF THE FIELD;

ON YOUR BELLY YOU SHALL GO, AND DUST YOU SHALL EAT

ALL THE DAYS OF YOUR LIFE.

AND I WILL PUT ENMITY OR (OPEN HOSTILITY)

BETWEEN YOU AND THE WOMAN, AND BETWEEN YOUR SEED

(OFFSPRING) AND HER SEED; HE SHALL [FATALLY]

BRUISE YOUR HEAD, BUT YOU SHALL [ONLY]

BRUISE HIS HEEL."

SO, WE KNOW THAT ENEMY WAS SUCCESSFUL

IN CAUSING SOME HURT IN JESUS'S LIFE

BUT WE KNOW WHO WON, AMEN?

SO--

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: SO, WE START OUT, GOD SAID, "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?"

EVE SAID, "IT WAS THE DEVIL."

I WANT YOU TO WATCH, HOWEVER, THAT GOD ASSIGNS RESPONSIBILITY

TO EVERY PERSON IN THIS INCIDENT THAT'S GOING ON HERE.

"THEN ADAM TO THE WOMAN HE SAID,

'I WILL GREATLY MULTIPLY YOUR PAIN IN CHILDBIRTH;

IN PAIN YOU WILL GIVE BIRTH TO CHILDREN;

YET YOUR DESIRE AND LONGING WILL BE FOR YOUR HUSBAND,

AND HE WILL RULE [WITH AUTHORITY] OVER YOU

AND BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU."

NOW GUYS, ANYBODY WHO WANTS TO HAVE AUTHORITY,

DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE RESPONSIBLE PART.

THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU JUST BOSS THE LADY AROUND

ALL THE TIME WHILE YOU DON'T TAKE CARE OF HER, AMEN?

DAVE, I JUST WANTED TO MENTION THAT I'M GONNA NEED

A FOOT RUB TONIGHT.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

"THEN TO ADAM, THE LORD SAID--"

SO SEE NOW, HE'S TALKED TO EVE.

HE'S TALKED TO THE DEVIL.

NOW, HE'S TALKING TO ADAM.

AND HE SAID, "BECAUSE YOU HAVE LISTENED

[ATTENTIVELY] TO THE VOICE OF YOUR WIFE,

YOU HAVE EATEN [FRUIT]

FROM THE TREE ABOUT WHICH I COMMANDED YOU,

TELLING YOU NOT TO EAT OF IT."

NOW BEFORE I GO ANY FURTHER, LET ME TELL YOU

THAT THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT A MAN

SHOULD NEVER LISTEN TO HIS WIFE.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: WE ARE TALKING ABOUT AN INCIDENT HERE.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: THIS IS NOT LAYING DOWN A WHOLE

LIFETIME PROGRAM WHERE MEN ARE NOT TO LISTEN THEIR WIFE.

THE PROBLEM WAS ADAM KNEW WHAT GOD SAID

AND HE TOOK EVE'S ADVICE OVER GOD'S AND THAT'S WHAT A MAN

SHOULD NOT DO.

YOU SHOULD ALWAYS GO WITH GOD AND FOR THAT MATTER,

WOMEN SHOULD TOO, AMEN?

"THE GROUND IS [NOW]

UNDER A CURSE BECAUSE OF YOU; AND IN SORROW AND TOIL

YOU SHALL EAT [THE FRUIT] OF IT ALL THE DAYS OF YOUR LIFE."

BLAME STARTED IN THE GARDEN AND IT GOES RIGHT

ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE BIBLE.

AND IT'S ONE OF THE BIGGEST PROBLEMS IN SOCIETY TODAY.

IT IS AMAZING YOU GO TO GET A SURGERY

AND YOU HAVE TO SIGN ENOUGH PAPERS

THAT IF THEY KILL YOU 20 TIMES, IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: I MEAN, NOTHING IS ANYBODY'S FAULT TODAY.

IT'S JUST, IT'S GOOFY.

WE LIVE IN A WORLD WHERE NOBODY, ABSOLUTELY NOBODY

WANTS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING

BUT WE, AS THE CHURCH, ARE BETTER THAN THAT

AND WE HAVE TO STAND UP AND BE STRONG MEN AND WOMEN

OF GOD.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND ANYBODY HERE WITH ANY SPIRITUAL STRENGTH AT ALL

SHOULD BE EASILY BE ABLE TO SAY WITHOUT MUMBLING,

"YOU KNOW WHAT?

THAT WAS MY FAULT.

I TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY AND I'M REALLY SORRY."

CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW MUCH BETTER RELATIONSHIPS WOULD BE

IF PEOPLE WOULD STOP ALL THE BLAMING AND JUST OWN UP

TO THEIR OWN MISTAKES?

NOW, ABRAHAM, SARAH, AND HAGAR, ONE OF THE MOST FOOLISH STORIES

IN THE BIBLE.

"NOW SARAI, ABRAM'S WIFE, HAD NOT BORNE HIM ANY CHILDREN,

BUT SHE HAD AN EGYPTIAN MAID WHOSE NAME WAS HAGAR.

SO SARAI SAID TO ABRAM, 'SEE HERE,

THE LORD HAS PREVENTED ME FROM BEARING CHILDREN.

SO, I'M ASKING YOU TO GO TO [THE BED OF] MY MAID

[SO THAT YOU MAY BEAR--

SO SHE MAY BEAR YOU A CHILD]; PERHAPS I WILL OBTAIN CHILDREN

BY HER."

AND ONCE AGAIN THE SILLY MAN LISTENED TO HIS WIFE.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: AMEN?

OBVIOUSLY WE KNOW THAT WHAT SHE SUGGESTED

WAS NOT A VERY GOOD IDEA.

WHAT KIND OF A GOOFY WOMAN WOULD YOU BE

TO GIVE YOUR HUSBAND TO ANOTHER WOMAN

TO GO HAVE SEX WITH HER?

"AFTER ABRAM HAD LIVED IN THE LAND OF CANAAN TEN YEARS,

ABRAM'S WIFE SARAI TOOK HAGAR THE EGYPTIAN [MAID],

AND GAVE HER TO HER HUSBAND ABRAM

TO BE HIS [SECONDARY] WIFE.

HE WENT IN TO [THE BED OF] HAGAR,

AND SHE CONCEIVED; AND WHEN SHE REALIZED

THAT SHE HAD CONCEIVED, SHE LOOKED WITH CONTEMPT

ON HER MISTRESS [REGARDING SARAI AS INSIGNIFICANT

BECAUSE OF HER INFERTILITY]"

SO, RIGHT AWAY, WHICH SARAH SHOULD HAVE SEEN THIS,

BUT RIGHT AWAY HAGAR GETS AN ATTITUDE.

"I'M PREGNANT AND YOU'RE NOT, NAH, NAH, NAH, NAH, NAH."

BUT HERE'S WHERE IT GETS CUTE.

"THEN SARAI SAID TO ABRAM, 'MAY [THE RESPONSIBILITY

FOR] THE WRONG DONE TO ME [BY THE ARROGANT BEHAVIOR

OF HAGAR] BE UPON YOU.'"

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: NOW I ASK YOU WHAT MADE THIS ABRAM'S FAULT

WHEN SARAH WAS THE ONE THAT STARTED IT?

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: I MEAN, THIS JUST SHOWS HOW PEOPLE

PLAY THE BLAME GAME.

TURNS RIGHT AROUND IN VERSE 6, "BUT ABRAM SAID TO SARAI,

'LOOK, YOUR MAID IS ENTIRELY IN YOUR HANDS

AND SUBJECT TO YOUR AUTHORITY; YOU DO WHAT YOU WANT WITH HER.'"

SO, SARAH SAID, "IT'S YOUR FAULT."

HE TURNED RIGHT BACK AROUND AND SAID, "NO, IT'S YOUR FAULT,

I'M NOT DEALING WITH THIS."

AND THEN HAGAR, SHE'S IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS

SO SHE DECIDES TO RUN AWAY.

THEN GOD FOUND HER AND SAID, "WHERE ARE YOU GOING?

WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

IN VERSE 8.

AND SHE SAID, "I'M RUNNING AWAY FROM MY MISTRESS."

NOW, WE'RE GONNA TALK HERE IN A MINUTE

ABOUT RUNNING FROM PROBLEMS RATHER THAN FACING THEM.

"THEN THE ANGEL OF THE LORD SAID TO HER,"

IN VERSE 8 THE ANGEL OF THE LORD SAID TO HER,

'GO BACK TO YOUR MISTRESS, AND SUBMIT HUMBLY

TO HER AUTHORITY.'"

WELL, OUCH.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: WHY SHOULD I WANT TO DO THAT?

"BUT THE LORD SAID TO HER, 'I WILL GREATLY MULTIPLY

YOUR DESCENDANTS SO THAT THEY WILL BE TOO MANY

TO COUNT.'"

SO, HERE'S THE POINT THAT I WANT TO MAKE,

RUNNING FROM YOUR PROBLEMS NEVER SOLVES THEM.

HIDDEN THINGS ARE THE THINGS THAT MAKE US SICK,

THINGS THAT WE HIDE FROM PEOPLE, THINGS THAT WE DON'T WANT

ANYBODY TO KNOW.

NOW, I'M NOT SAYING NOTHING SHOULD BE PRIVATE

BUT SOMETIMES ONE OF THE BEST THINGS

YOU CAN DO, IF YOU'VE GOT SOMETHING

INSIDE OF YOU THAT JUST KEEPS BOTHERING YOU

AND BOTHERING YOU AND BOTHERING YOU,

AND IT'S SOMETHING YOU'RE SO AFRAID

THAT SOMEBODY'S GONNA FIND OUT ABOUT YOU,

YOU'D BE MUCH BETTER OFF TO TALK TO YOUR PASTOR

THAT YOU TRUST OR TO FIND ONE GOOD FRIEND.

IF YOU CAN FIND ONE GOOD FRIEND THAT KNOWS

HOW TO KEEP THEIR MOUTH SHUT, YOU'VE GOT A GOLD MINE, AMEN?

I MEAN, I HATE TO SOUND LIKE THIS,

BUT IT'S VERY HARD TO FIND PEOPLE TODAY

THAT WILL KEEP YOUR SECRETS AND THAT IS A SHAME.

WE NEED TO BE CONFIDENTIAL, AND WE NEED TO NOT TELL

OTHER PEOPLE'S SECRETS BUT TO KEEP THEM.

IF YOU CAN FIND SOMEBODY THAT YOU CAN TRUST,

SOMETIMES JUST SHARING WITH THEM.

YOU KNOW WHAT? I FEEL SO BAD ABOUT THIS.

IT'S INTERESTING HOW WHEN YOU GET SOMETHING

OUT OF YOU, IT TAKES THE POWER AWAY FROM IT.

WHEN SATAN THINKS IT'S HIDDEN IN SECRET,

THEN HE CAN KEEP TORMENTING YOU WITH IT.

AND THEN THERE'S SOME THINGS THAT WE RUN FROM

BECAUSE GOD JUST KEEPS TRYING TO GET US TO DEAL WITH IT

AND WE JUST KEEP PUTTING IT OFF UNTIL ANOTHER DAY.

IT MIGHT BE FORGIVING SOMEBODY.

IT MIGHT BE CONFRONTING SOMEBODY.

MAYBE THERE'S SOMEBODY IN YOUR LIFE

THAT TAKES ADVANTAGE OF YOU AND DOESN'T TREAT YOU RIGHT.

MAYBE IT'S A PARENT WHO EXPECTS TOO MUCH OUT OF YOU.

THEY'RE NOT LETTING YOU GROW UP AND HAVE YOUR OWN LIFE,

AND SO YOU'VE KIND OF FORMED A DYSFUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIP

WITH THEM AND YOU KNOW YOU NEED TO CONFRONT IT

BUT YOU DON'T SO YOU JUST KEEP STAYING

IN THE MESS AND HATING THE MESS WORSE AND WORSE AND WORSE.

YOU NEED TO DEAL WITH STUFF, CONFRONT IT, GET IT OVER WITH,

GET YOUR BREAKTHROUGH, AND GET ON WITH THE REAL LIFE

THAT GOD HAS FOR YOU.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AMEN?

SOMETIMES THERE'S THINGS THAT MAYBE YOU'VE DONE IN LIFE

THAT YOU MAYBE NEED TO GO BACK AND FIX.

YOU CAN'T ALWAYS GO BACK AND FIX EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE WRONG

BUT SOME THINGS YOU CAN AND SOME THINGS

GOD MAY WANT YOU TO DO SO I'M GONNA TELL YOU A STORY.

I THINK I'VE ONLY TOLD THIS MAYBE ONE OR TWO OTHER TIMES.

WELL, ACTUALLY, I MARRIED A GUY WHEN I WAS 18

JUST TO GET AWAY FROM MY DAD AND JUST I REALLY NEVER THOUGHT

ANYBODY WOULD EVER WANT ME BECAUSE I'D BEEN

SEXUALLY ABUSED.

AND SO, I KNEW WAY DOWN DEEP IN MY HEART

THAT I WAS MAKING MISTAKE BUT I WANTED SOMEBODY.

I WAS AFRAID I'D NEVER HAVE ANYBODY

SO I MARRIED THIS GUY AND IT WAS REALLY JUST ANOTHER

FIVE YEARS OF TORMENT.

AND HE WAS A CON MAN, COULD TALK YOU IN AND OUT

OF EVERYTHING, AND HE WAS A THIEF, PETTY THIEF.

AND SO, I WORKED FOR A COMPANY AND I DID THE PAYROLL

AND HE TALKED ME INTO WRITING SOME CHECKS

TO DIFFERENT RANDOM PEOPLE AND BACK THEN IT WAS PRETTY EASY

TO GO IN AND GET A CHECK CASHED ALMOST ANYWHERE.

I MEAN, YOU COULD JUST GO IN AND SAY,

"I WANT TO CASH THIS CHECK," AND THEY'D CASH IT FOR YOU.

SO, THE BOTTOM LINE WAS WAS HE TALKED ME INTO STEALING

SOME MONEY FROM THIS COMPANY THAT I WORKED FOR.

SO, HERE YOU HAVE BEFORE YOU A PREACHER WHO AT ONE TIME

WAS A THIEF.

THAT'S HOW MUCH GOD CAN CHANGE US AND--

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: SO, I DON'T KNOW, I THOUGHT MAYBE

IT'D MAKE SOMEBODY FEEL A LITTLE BETTER ABOUT THEIR SELF TO KNOW

WHO YOU'RE REALLY LISTENING TO TODAY.

I'M GLAD WE'RE PASSED THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS,

THAT WAY I CAN'T GO TO JAIL.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: SO, I'M TEACHING MY LITTLE HOME BIBLE STUDY

AND I GOT ALL THESE BIG DREAMS AND PLANS FOR MY LIFE,

AND I STARTED FEELING LIKE I NEEDED TO FIND

THAT COMPANY AND GO TELL THEM WHAT I HAD DONE

AND PAY THE MONEY BACK.

WELL, YOU CAN IMAGINE HOW SCARED I WAS.

I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THEY MIGHT DO.

FOR ALL I KNEW THEY'D HAVE ME THROWN IN JAIL.

BUT I REALLY FELT LIKE IF I WAS GONNA GO ON WITH GOD

AND DO EVERYTHING GOD WANTED ME TO DO

THAT I COULDN'T KEEP HAVING THAT HANGING THERE.

NOW, I'M NOT SAYING THAT YOU NEED TO GO DO WHAT I DID.

I'M TELLING YOU THAT THIS WAS SOMETHING

THAT GOD TOLD ME TO DO, AND I NEEDED TO OBEY GOD,

OTHERWISE I'D STILL BE BACK THERE TEACHING

A LITTLE HOME BIBLE STUDY.

NOW, I WANT YOU TO LISTEN TO ME, GOD HAS BIG PLANS

FOR MANY OF YOUR LIVES BUT JUST BECAUSE GOD'S

PLANNED THEM DOESN'T MEAN THEY'RE GONNA HAPPEN.

THERE WILL BE THINGS THAT GOD WILL REQUIRE OF YOU.

THERE WILL BE HARD THINGS HE WILL ASK YOU TO DO.

THERE MAY BE SOME SACRIFICES THAT HE WILL ASK YOU TO MAKE,

IT MIGHT BE SOME SACRIFICIAL GIVING,

IT MIGHT BE, YOU KNOW, LIKE ONE OF THE THINGS THAT

HAPPENED TO ME IN MY LIFE, A TIME CAME WHERE GOD ASKED ME

AND MY HUSBAND TO TAKE CARE OF MY MOM AND DAD

UNTIL THEY DIED.

WELL, LET ME TELL YA THAT WAS THE LAST PEOPLE

IN THE WORLD I WANTED TO TAKE CARE OF.

THERE WAS NO REASON FOR ME TO DO IT.

THEY HAD MISTREATED ME.

THEY HAD ABUSED ME.

THEY HAD DONE NOTHING FOR ME AND YET I KNEW THAT

IT WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO.

IT WASN'T A FUN THING TO DO BUT I KNEW THAT IT WAS

THE RIGHT THING TO DO.

NOW, LISTEN TO WHAT I'M GONNA TELL YA.

JUST BECAUSE SOMEBODY ELSE HAS TREATED YOU BADLY,

THAT DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE AUTHORITY

TO DO SOMETHING WRONG.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: FOR SOMEBODY HERE TODAY COMING TO HEAR

THAT ONE STATEMENT WAS WHY GOD SENT YOU HERE.

I'M SERIOUS BECAUSE SOMETIMES WE THINK

IF SOMEBODY HAS MISTREATED US, THAT WE ARE THEN JUSTIFIED

IN NOT LOVING THEM, OR NOT TREATING THEM GOOD,

OR NOT HELPING THEM WHEN THEY NEED IT.

"WELL, WHY SHOULD I HELP YOU AFTER WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO ME?"

WELL, BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT GOD DOES AND YOU'RE LIKE GOD.

THAT'S WHY HE SAYS LOVE YOUR ENEMIES,

BLESS YOUR ENEMIES, TO SHOW THAT YOU ARE LIKE

YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN.

IF WE ARE GOING TO BE IN THE WORLD AND REPRESENT GOD,

THEN WE DO NOT GET TO LIVE LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE.

WE HAVE TO DO THINGS THAT DON'T MAKE ANY SENSE

TO THE WORLD OR THE NATURAL MIND,

BUT WE DO IT BECAUSE WE KNOW IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO.

MY PARENTS LIVED A LONG TIME.

I MEAN, IT WAS A LONG TIME.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: LONG TIME.

AND COST A LOT OF MONEY TO KEEP THEM

IN A GOOD NURSING HOME.

I HAD TO FINALLY HIRE SOMEBODY TO HELP ME RUN THEIR ERRANDS

AND DO THESE DIFFERENT THINGS, AND THERE WAS NO SANE REASON

FOR ME TO DO IT BUT I CAN TELL YOU

IT WAS PROBABLY ONE OF THE SINGLE

MOST POWERFUL THINGS THAT I EVER DID THAT AFFECTED ME

IN THE SPIRITUAL REALM.

IT GAVE ME SPIRITUAL POWER AND IT TOOK SATAN'S POWER

AWAY FROM HIM.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: SO, DON'T THINK THAT YOU GET TO BE NASTY

TO SOMEBODY JUST BECAUSE THEY WERE NASTY TO YOU.

SEE, LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, BEING A POWERFUL CHRISTIAN,

I MEAN A RIGHT CHRISTIAN, A BIBLE CHRISTIAN,

IT'S NOT FOR WIMPY PEOPLE.

I MEAN, THERE'S GONNA BE SOME THINGS

GOD'S GONNA ASK YOU TO DO, CERTAINLY NOTHING ANYMORE

THAN WHAT HE DID FOR US, BUT HE'LL ASK YOU

TO DO SOME THINGS AND ALONG THE WAY

YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO CONFRONT THINGS THAT YOU MAY NOT

WANT TO CONFRONT.

YOU KNOW, A LOT OF TIMES WE WANT TO FORGET THINGS

AND JUST GO ON AND THERE ARE THINGS

THAT WE GET TO DO LIKE THAT.

WE DON'T HAVE TO GO BACK AND TRY TO PAY FOR OUR SINS

BUT IN THIS INSTANCE FOR WHATEVER GOD'S REASON WAS,

HE WANTED ME TO GO TAKE CARE OF THIS EVEN THOUGH

IT JUST FRIGHTENED THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF ME.

SO, I HAD TO FIND THIS COMPANY, WHICH, OF COURSE, HAD MOVED

AND THEN I WENT AND TALKED TO THE SON

WHO WAS NOW RUNNING THE COMPANY.

I MEAN, I'M SURE I WAS SHAKING.

I SAID, "DO YOU REMEMBER A TIME WHEN AN EMPLOYEE

STOLE SOME MONEY FROM YOU THROUGH THE PAYROLL,"

AND BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.

AND HE SAID, "YEAH."

I SAID, "WELL, I'M THE ONE WHO STOLE IT."

AND I SAID, "I JUST WANT TO TELL YOU

THAT I'M A CHRISTIAN NOW AND I KNOW THAT WHAT I DID

WAS WRONG, AND I WOULD LIKE TO PAY

THE MONEY BACK."

NOW, HE WASN'T A CHRISTIAN.

HE HAPPENED TO A JEWISH MAN.

IT WAS A JEWISH FAMILY, BUT I THINK THAT PEOPLE

EVERYWHERE ARE ALWAYS IMPRESSED, NOT THAT I WAS TRYING

TO BE IMPRESSIVE.

BUT THEY'RE IMPRESSED WITH THE GENUINENESS

OF OUR FAITH IN GOD WHEN WE DO RIGHT THINGS.

HE HAD TO KNOW THAT WAS HARD FOR ME.

AND SO, I DON'T KNOW HOW THAT MAY HAVE AFFECTED

HIS LIFE LATER ON, BUT I DEFINITELY KNOW

THAT IF I WOULDN'T HAVE DONE IT, I'D STILL BE

BACK THERE SOMEWHERE.

I WOULDN'T BE HERE GETTING TO TELL YOU THIS STORY.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND SO, HERE AGAIN I'M NOT TELLING YOU

THAT HAVE TO GO BACK AND DO THAT.

THAT MIGHT NOT EVEN BE WHAT GOD WOULD HAVE YOU DO,

BUT HERE'S WHAT I AM TELLING YOU,

WHATEVER GOD ASKS YOU TO DO, WHATEVER GOD IS ASKING YOU TO DO

THAT YOU HAVEN'T DONE, WHATEVER GOD MAY ASK YOU TO DO

IN THE FUTURE, NO MATTER HOW HARD IT MAY SEEM,

DON'T RUN FROM WHAT GOD TELLS YOU TO DO,

RUN STRAIGHT TO IT AND GET IT OVER WITH

BECAUSE SOMETIMES THE HARDER IT IS, THE MORE POWER

THERE'S GOING TO BE IN IT FOR YOU

IN SOME WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: WELL, DON'T EVER RUN FROM WHAT GOD

IS ASKING YOU DO IT, RUN TO IT.

TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND WORK WITH GOD THAT FIX IT.

🎨🗝 Gothic Scrying Glass 🗝🎨 - Duration: 10:31.

Hi! It's Heather from Thicketworks, and today I'm going to show you how I

created this Gothic Scrying Glass from this Dollar Store magnifying glass. The

piece is inspired by Victorian mourning accessories that were often carved from

jet. To reinforce that theme the underside of the lens cover reveals a

vintage skull graphic. There are links to the tools and materials used in the

description. Let's get started! The first order of business is to create the lens

cover. I'm using medium weight chipboard - grab the heaviest chipboard that you can

cut without hurting your hands or mangling the board itself. Trace the

outline of the lens and the base where the lens actually attaches to the handle.

That's important - this will become the pivot point for the lens cover. Use a

needle tool to mark the pivot point, making sure that it will catch the rim

beneath. I'll be using a pin vise or a hand drill to enlarge that hole to just

the right diameter for the tiny brass screw that will hold the two pieces

together. Align the chipboard with the rim around the magnifying glass and

transfer that hole using your needle tool. We'll be drilling directly into the

plastic. I really like being able to use a hand drill on a piece as delicate as

this - especially being so close to the edge of the glass. I know it's not going

to crack. Okay, now that we've established our pivot point, we can begin

embellishing the lens cover. I'm beginning with the interior and for that

I've chosen this vintage skull graphic. Using the magnifying glass as a template

makes it easy to center your chosen graphic. After trimming the cardstock to

size apply a thin but adequate layer of tacky glue onto the chipboard and then

adhere the printed cardstock directly on top. Smooth it into place with your

fingers and reinforce the bond with a brayer. Once the glue has cured for 15

minutes or so you'll be able to neaten the edges with an emery board. Next, let's

work on embellishing the handle. I'll be creating castings using Polyform Model

Air - Air Dry Modeling Clay...and these tiny intricate silicone molds. Fill the mold

cavity with the air dry clay, and then, once you have filled that cavity, make

sure to apply quite a bit of pressure to the back of the mold. (I like to scrape

mine with a metal tool) Then, deposit the fresh casting right on your work surface.

We'll be able to wrap this delicate motif right around that curved handle

because we're working with the clay while it's still wet. A thin coat of

tacky glue is all that's required to hold that permanently in place. Repeat

the process for the other side of the handle...and don't be concerned at the

delicacy of paper clay: once this is coated with paint it will tolerate a

surprising amount of abuse! If, like me, you think "more is more", add a series of

tiny castings around the exterior rim of the glass. Once all your castings are in

place, set the piece aside to dry thoroughly. Overnight in a warm dry

environment will do the trick. To prepare for painting, I'm going to

protect the glass by cutting two discs of paper and gluing them temporarily to

either side of the glass lens. This way the piece will be protected

when we put the top coat over all of the castings. I'm using Ultra Cover

semi-gloss black to topcoat all of my components. Drill a hole in the base of

the handle if you'd like to be able to add decorative chains and charms. I've

chosen to add a rim of smoky darkness around the exterior of this vintage

skull motif. I'll be using Distress Ink in "Black Soot" and a blending tool. Once

the ink is dried, I'm sealing it with Krylon "Make it Last" - any good quality

matte spray sealer will do the job. The interior of the lens cover is complete -

and that means that we can turn our attention to the assemblage. For this

I've decided to use a lightweight velvet as the first layer. I apply a thin but

even coat of tacky glue to the back of the chipboard (which, by the way, has also

been spray-painted) - that will help to avoid any warping that the wet glue

might have caused otherwise. Smooth the velvet into place using firm but gentle

pressure with your hands. Set the piece aside for a few minutes to allow the

glue to set up - ten minutes ought to do it. At this point you can trim away the

excess fabric - staying as close to the exterior edge as possible. File away the

remaining fabric with an emery board. Any loose threads can be carefully burned

away with an open flame. Let's get rid of the unsightly raw edges left by the

sanding process. I'm reaching for Distress Stain in "Black Soot". To avoid

stiffening the edge of the velvet, choose a stain or an ink rather than a paint

for this function. Run a needle tool through the existing hole in order to

pierce through the velvet fabric. With the first layer in place we can now

begin designing the assemblage. Rapid Fuse is a good choice when

combining items like laser cut wood and resin castings. I've chosen to layer a

glass gauge over the top of a metal component - if you'd like to make one of

these glass gauges there's a link in the description to a full tutorial. For a

super-strength bond between these two pieces, I'm using both FabriTac and a

couple of drops of Rapid Fuse. The aperture on this metal component is just

slightly too small to accept these one inch glass gems. To join them securely

back-to-back (one on either side), I'm cutting a disc of the same chipboard

I've used in the rest of the project to fit into that aperture and fill the gap.

I adhere one of the glass gems to one side of this chipboard disk using Rapid

Fuse. The adhesive will cure in just a few moments. I can then insert the

cardboard disc into the aperture of the metal finding -

the piece can then be flipped over, adhesive applied to the other side and

the remaining gem adhered. This sturdy charm will make an excellent addition to

our Gothic Scrying Glass. I love the feeling of substance that it gives...

Because this charm is so heavy, I'm not going to trust it to a jump ring. I've

grabbed a brass fishing swivel instead - that'll hold it in place. Now it's time

to finalize the assemblage on the front of the lens cover. I'm using FabriTac

this time, but either "Beacon 3-in-1" or eE6000 will do the job.

The important thing to remember when adhering to velvet is that you have to

press hard enough to actually crush the velvet pile. That way the glue will

actually seep all the way through to the lowest layer and you'll have a firm bond

that will last for decades. It's time to install the lens cover. I'm using a tiny

brass screw with a Phillips head and feeding it through the layers of

chipboard, velvet and paper until just the tip protrudes. I then insert that tip

into the pre-drilled hole in the handle and tighten everything down. Yes! This

functions exactly the way it was intended to. I love that. A cheap brass

cup hook has been bent into a rough closed loop. This gets installed in the

base of the handle. This is definitely sturdy enough to handle the weight of

our heavy charm and the Phantom Raven Skull. A length of decorative chain and a

10 millimeter jump ring are used to combine all of these pieces. This piece

looks and feels like a relic from a bygone era...

you would never in a million years guess that its origin was the Dollar Store!

With just a little bit of very simple engineering, some chipboard, castings,

paint and charms we've created this incredible ceremonial Gothic Scrying

Glass! The combination of the rich femininity of velvet coupled with the

robust and dramatic castings (an our hidden friend!) results in a piece that

has complexity and mystery. I love that! Thank you so much for hanging out with

me today! Until next time...Bye!

Jen & Eric Tackle a Pond Problem - Duration: 5:58.

Hey guys what is going on? It's a beautiful day.

Still a bit overcast.

Just found my mojo.

It was gone for a little bit there.

But it's back.

And guess what I gotta do.

I gotta pond problem.

Can you help me with my pond problem?

[lock opening]

[door opening]

I don't know if this is a good idea or not.

So every now and then, the intake

part of my pond, it slides of these

rocks that are stacked on the bottom

and then

it just starts malfunctioning so I have to get

this ladder

and

hang it over the edge of the pond

and then I have my trusting wife

she stands on it

[laughter]

and I got out the ladder over the water

[music]

[nature sounds]

[ladder rattling]

[birds chirping]

Yeah, this is an accident waiting to happen.

Alright, you got me?

-I guess.

Are you starting to go up?

[hahaha]

-I got it

Are you sure? -Yeah

That thing was teeter tottering so we had to stretch out the ladder a little bit.

Alright here goes nothing.

[airplane flying over]

Sit as far back on it as you can.

Whoa!

-What?

It's moving.

Sorry...

My Apple Watch is underwater too.

oh

hahaha

Alright, sit heavy.

Uhhh

I dont understand what's going on here. I cant find the.

Well, that didn't go as planned so...

What's happening is the base of our pond

filter is not sitting flat

and it's because a while back

this rock ummm

slipped into the pond

slid down against it.

and then when it moved

I guess the rock got like underneath

where it needs to sit flat.

So I can't find the flat spot.

But as you can probably guess

there's a solution to every problem

you just have to wrap your mind around it.

Unfortunately for me this solution involes me

going into the nasty pond water.

So ummm

Here we go I'm going to get in there.

I also have a sore on my leg.

Which kinda freaks me out a little bit.

But I did put a bandaid on it, so hopefully.

I won't get like flesh eating disease or anything like that.

Entropy, I'm coming after you!

Alright, here goes.

Jennifer, are you sure you don't wanna go in?

-Yeah I'm sure

Oh it's cold.

And slippery.

Oh man!

[splashing]

I think that's pretty good.

Alright, I'm coming out.

Wooo

-Bet you didn't think you would be taking a dip in the pond this evening.

Nope!

When we built this, we thought we would swim in it.

So this little invention here.

It's usually what we use.

It has a little

Nail hook on the end there.

This is what we use to

deploy the filter.

[bubbles]

Okay

[water running]

[water pouring]

I always have a real hard time understanding

how something like this

This piece of glass.

How

that stuff gets so close to the pond.

Because I've swept the area of glass.

And it's like a big fear of mine,

because I put so much work into the pond

that one day I'm gonna get a hole in the liner,

and then I'm gonna have to find the hole and fix it.

But it'll be ten years

in August that we've had the pond,

and so far we've been really lucky.

Got my fingers crossed.

That we continue to have good fortune.

With the pond, but

it's just weird that glass can just

appear like that out of nowhere.

Anyways, I thank you for watching

And I'll see you in the next one!

Peace

INDORAPTOR VS INDOMINUS REX - BATTLE ROYALE! - Duration: 5:33.

spider-man goes in with a strong bite. the Batman answers back with a double

bang combo. this will surely be a close one Randy. today we'll see the

Indoraptor vs indominus rex battle royale!

what's up, LabSquad? welcome to another awesome episode of dino battles, where we

get to witness the most amazing prehistoric skirmishes the world has

ever seen! Randy Raptor here and beside me is our

resident paleontologist Pedro panda! Bonjour les amies!

if you like duking dinos, be sure bite claw and slash that subscribe button!

they've got the IndoRaptor versus Indominus Rex battle royale! but

first we'd like to get the Galimimus award to Dragonfire 5276

for being the first lab squad member to comment on our last video. if you want

next week's galimimus award, make sure to subscribe and get on the

notification squad to be notified when we post next week's video! and now for

the main event! this main event was requested so much that we had to do a

battle royale! ladies and gentlemen welcome to our new dino battle arena on

Jurassic world evolution! we've got an awesome match for you guys today. It's gonna be

4 Indoraptors and 4 Indominus Rexes in a battle royale!

Who do you think will win? Comment right now!

It's time to start the match!

each I-Rex and indoraptor have been modified to have special abilities!

I think Ironman or Flash will win since they have maximum attack modification! now we

have Wonder Woman facing off against Superman! and Wonder Woman gets the first

strike! Superman can't be happy about that, so he takes a bite out of wonder

woman! now let's check on Iron Man vs Captain America. they both look pretty

beat up! ooh Superman bikes Wonder Woman's head!

can she recover? she goes for a bite and it misses. Superman takes down Wonder

Woman! Iron Man lunges in for the attack

can he finish off Captain America? and he does two down five to go.

now we have Thor vs. spider-man. spider-man specializes in full defense

while Thor has a maximum modification rating. spider-man seems to be too fast

for thor. and now spider-man's going for the takedown! and Thor goes down hard!

now let's check on Superman versus the flash. Superman goes through the first

attack and it connects!

then flash goes for a bite of his own! flash was modified to have superior attack

over the other I-Rexes. While Superman has the highest modification rating! the

flash goes for the take down of Superman!

and Superman's down! now we have four dinos left. Batman and the flash have

both been hurt from their previous battles. but Batman's defense is far

better than the flashes. and he gets two solid bites in. the flash sure doesn't

look too well. that's right, Pedro, he can hardly even stand up!

here's Batman with the takedown. now we have a three-way standoff between Iron

Man Batman and spider-man. looks like Batman's gonna leave Iron Man and

spider-man to fight amongst themselves. and Iron Man goes for the quick attack. both

Iron Man and spider-man look pretty beat-up!

they've taken a lot of hits throughout the old battle royale.

but it seems like spider-man's gonna win this one! and Iron Man's down. we're down

to the last two competitors. Batman vs. spider-man! who do you think will win? let

us know in the comments. I think spider-man with, Randy! you might

be right, Pedro. spider-man goes in with a strong bite! but Batman answers back with

a double bang combo! this will surely be a close one, Randy.

spider-man takes another bite from Batman! spider-man tries to take down

Batman but he's intercepted! can spider-man recover? it's all over for

spider-man! Batman wins! who do you think should have won? let us know in the

comments below! click on this video on the left if you want to see more awesome

Inside The Canyon//SRAM Team Bus - Duration: 10:08.

- It's time for a bus tour with

the Canyon SRAM women's team, let's go.

(upbeat music)

(knocking)

I don't think there's anyone in,

but I'll just knock in case.

Here we have the main seating area,

which just about has space for six riders.

Now this is where Lars the bus drivers sits.

He's very kindly let us do a bus tour,

at the last moment with no notice.

After driving overnight from the Giro Rosa,

all the way to France for La Course

by Le Tour De France, good man.

Tiny, tiny shoes.

This bus is super well organized,

and there's loads of storage space.

Let's take a look in the funky cupboards, starting here.

Ah a TV screen, I think it folds out as well,

but I'm not gonna fiddle with it

just in case I can't fold it back.

Towels, oh no they're little flannels.

At the end of a race the soigneur comes up,

and they get that nice, cold fresh water

and they rub your face down so you don't look as filthy

if you have to go on the podium,

or even if you don't have to go on the podium.

Nice touch, spare kit, musettes.

I think that's a musette, it is.

Nice, freshly folded, better put it back.

Under here we have a shopping bag.

Some random stuff.

A spare pair of shorts, interestingly,

and a charging cable, which you can't get out,

because it's trapped behind a light.

Over on this side, what have we got?

More towels, laundry bag, clean sheets.

I guess for a massage, nice, all very, very neatly folded.

What's down here?

Le Tour De Vin. (speaks in German)

'By Bike Through The Wine Mountains.'

That sounds like an excellent ride.

I should definitely do that ride.

Canyon SRAM Racing, some cool stickers.

Ah cool, or not so cool.

That would have been stickers for a time trial at a race.

Cool, very cool, I wonder which race?

Moving along, what's in here?

Chamois cream, very important.

Apparently it's luxury chamois cream.

No one would want anything except luxury

in their chamois cream would they, frankly?

Wet wipes, Action Wipes,

for when you can't shower, nice.

I've been told that there's storage

under all of these seats as well

but it's really hard to get at, so let's try one.

I like the fact also that the team bus

has towels protecting the seats,

that are in team purple, very nice that.

Ooh there's a food stash there, that does look good.

So what have we got?

Buchweizen, that's buckwheat.

We've got lentils, coconut chips, nuts,

seed mixture, honey, hazelnut spread.

Muesli, dried mango, rice.

I don't even know what that is?

Bulgar wheat, yum, healthy and delicious.

Chia seeds I can see, mm, yum.

Someone's a good cook on this team I reckon.

It does feel a little bit like a Tetris Cube,

in that if I get it wrong...

Phew, don't wanna break the bus.

What a nice little touch, these are the teddies

you get given on the sign-on,

for the Women's Tour of Britain.

I think there's quite a few, "Hello."

This one appears to be a Yoga teddy,

he's very flexible, from the Warwickshire stage.

Reading light for the driver, very nice.

Some very, very clean toilet despite,

six people using it for the whole Duro, impressive.

Also, this is really cool.

This is podium flowers from the Duro,

still in the sink, just trying to keep them alive.

How awesome is that?

Now to the kitchen area, which is the finest part

of any home I reckon, even a mobile home.

Let's look at what's in the cupboards.

That looks like it is SIS gels, hmm,

and suncream which is also extremely important.

What flavors, raspberry, citrus.

Hmm, double espresso flavor, that's always handy.

Coffee machine, also extremely important.

It looks like it might be an espresso.

What I think is extremely cool,

is that they have real china cups

rather than horrible disposable cups.

A nice big one too, there's a decent

size cappuccino in there.

This looks like it's the admin draw.

Radios, pens, safety pins, tape.

That's for taping the radio.

You could tape your radio earpiece to your ear with that.

That would be physio tape I guess, yeah.

You can also use this tape to write

the important things of the stage on the tape

and then stick it to your stem,

so you know what's coming up in the race.

Pens, very important obviously.

Cutlery, a grater, ah now this makes me happy.

It's always great to see a decent grater in a kitchen.

Stove top, is it?

Yes, gas I think.

Privacy, daylight, nice.

More chamois cream, in the kitchen.

You wouldn't wanna use that on your sandwiches

by mistake, I don't think.

Olive oil, vinegar, condiments.

I think this the condiments draw, nice.

Ooh, I've broken it again, I'm gonna be in so much trouble.

Oven.

Freezer.

Fridge, now Lars told me I can look in the fridge.

Hmm, sandwiches, grapes, a lot of eggs.

I think that's muesli for tomorrow's breakfast,

ready mixed Bircher muesli.

Some wine, that is probably for the staff I would guess.

Everyone loves to find out what pro riders eat, right?

Hazelnut spread, yum.

More cupboards, this bus is full of cupboards.

It's amazing, so much storage space.

Oh this is cool, so, spare helmets,

in case of crashes and breakages of helmets.

This I've been told is the podium bag.

So someone gets on the podium,

Lars runs to the podium with this bag which has

a clean jersey, clean shorts.

Everything you might need to tidy up

and look presentable on the podium, very important.

This is apparently the crash bag, less good.

This has got all the first aid kit

for when the riders crash, or if they crash.

Hopefully it's an if, not a when.

Race radios, that's presumably the charging unit.

Kinesiology, Kinegio tape, very important.

This looks like it's the SIS cupboard.

Branch Chain amino acids, building blocks of proteins.

Beta fuel whatever that is?

More Branch Chain amino acids, in grapefruit flavor even.

More isotonic hydro tabs, lemon and lime gel, yum.

To the back of the bus now,

where the cool kids sit, I assume?

All the rider's helmets lined up,

ready for tomorrow, race day.

All named, which is kinda cool, very cool.

These are the wet weather bags,

that go in the car in case of rain.

There's all separate compartments, that's so cool.

So rain jackets and vests, shoes and covers.

Elena, car one, that's very neat.

Ooh, wrong way round.

Obviously, the former Italian Champion has a shoe bag

in her National Champion colors, very cool.

More cupboards, it's like a cupboard tour of discovery.

Waffles, very important race food.

Morbido means soft in Italian, soft waffles.

And to go on the waffles they have agave syrup.

This is spare kit, so in the case of someone

unfortunately crashing and ripping a jersey,

this is where the spare kits all stored

and of course it's all personalized.

Because it's gotta fit and also

they have lots of national Champions.

(speaks in German) So that means,

breakfast gruel I suppose is the closest word.

It's like a porridge but this one's made of farro.

I don't know what farro is, wheat?

I think it's wheat, wheat porridge.

There you go, storage at the back,

bathroom, kitchen, seating, storage everywhere actually.

This bus has just been full of delightful cupboards.

A lot of punch packed into a very small space I feel.

Thank you very much to Lars for letting us tour his bus

and good luck to the girls,

in their race in La Course tomorrow.

Lucy, Londoner #307, is training to become a Speech and Language Therapist - Duration: 2:29.

Speech language therapists work with

people who have... it sounds obvious but

speech and language difficulties.

Most people when you say, "oh I'm a speech and

language therapist" they say, "oh like The

King's Speech", or "oh if you're stammering and

my usual answer is, "yeah that's

a small aspect of it".

We work with babies that have been born with cleft lips

and cleft palates.

Children with different syndromes, a lot with

autistic children all the way up to

adults who've had head injuries, strokes.

A huge range of people.

What inspired me to get into speech and language

therapy? I did linguistics as my undergraduate degree.

I found out that there was a career in which you could

work with people to help them to get their speech back.

I've always wanted a job where I can work with people all

day every day and it just,

yeah just kind of made sense.

During my training there's been loads and loads of

outstanding moments. One particular that sticks in

mind: I was working a special-needs school and there

was a boy there who had global developmental delay

and severe epilepsy.

He was very, kind of, absorbed in his own world,

played by himself.

When I was assessing him I tried this thing

called intensive interaction where you mimic their

actions and mimic their vocalisations.

So he was clapping.

He quite enjoyed the sensory aspect of just clapping

like this, and so I just went up to him and I clapped

along with him and he kind of made an eye contact and

I got a small smile.

After I kept mimicking his actions

eventually he'd come and show me the toy

he was playing with and I just thought that's such a

it's such a huge step for a child

who's just met me to decide that actually I'm worth

communicating with.

So yeah, that was a really special moment.

My favourite aspect of training as a speech language

therapist is that I get to meet so many

different people.

I've been in a special school, at a nursery,

a primary school. I'm soon to be working in a

care home.

Just getting to know each person individually and taking

a really, like, person-centered approach to my therapy is

something I really enjoy.

In five years time I'd quite like to work with children

with special needs. So I really like special needs schools

because I think the support that you can

give to a child there: It's a privilege to be able to

help a child in the school setting and help their teachers

to understand their types of communication

and ways that they can be supported.

5 Steps to Plan a Driving Holiday to France - Duration: 8:50.

Hello and welcome to Caravannery! This video is part of our Caravannery on Tour

playlist and in this video we're going to focus on one thing: and that is

how you go about booking a trip and planning a holiday in France. Some useful

tips for you and hopefully to help make the the whole process a little more painless

and a lot more enjoyable. So, welcome to Caravannery.

Hello guys - welcome. In this video we're looking at five simple steps to

breakdown planning a holiday to France. Because for some people, in all honesty,

it can be quite daunting. When I speak to friends and other touring caravaners

we say that we're going to France in the summer for holidays

it sounds great, it sounds really exciting. But I think the

feedback we immediately get is "Oh, it's a bit of a long way to go"

"How are you going to get across to France? "Where you're going to stay?"

"Are you going to have stopovers?" and all these questions - driving on the wrong

side of the road etc etc etc - so what we wanted to do with this video is to break

it down into five very simple bite-sized chunks as to how we go about booking a

holiday in France. So without further ado let's step into step one.

Okay so step one is quite simple

and in all honesty what you would do for any "normal" holiday

How long are you going to go for and what's your budget?

If you can, one top tip is to book 12 months

in advance because you'll have a bigger run of availability on

sites, you'll have better deals when it comes to ferry crossings and it'll give

you a little more time to plan and prepare things - including the journey and

all the other things we're going to cover in this video

So, when it comes to booking a holiday you will obviously need to know how long

you're gonna go for, because if you go for a week we wouldn't recommend you

going all the way down to the South of France.

But if you go for three weeks, then why not drive around a bit further? Plan

and break your trip down accordingly so the most important thing - as with any

project (project manager by trade) is to break it down based on timescales and

budget so once you get a good grasp of those it'll help you answer a lot of the

other questions that we focus on within this vlog.

Myself and Jodi have booked two and a half weeks off work so

So we'll have a two-week trip around France.

When we went away for our first two-week jaunt

summer holiday last year we found we went to three different places, three

different stop-offs which meant three different pack ups, pack downs etc etc etc

and then when we sat down in the last of the three venues we went to

we sort of said to each other - well we've spent kind of three days of this

two-week holiday just traveling around packing up and packing down. So what we

decided to do when going to France is two and a half

weeks because we want to go all the way down to the South of France. It's a 1,000

mile journey door-to-door and we wanted to make sure that we break it up with

a few stops, but that ir still doesn't impact on us having a two-week holiday.

We've saved up our annual leave and everything else accordingly

just to make sure that

we get a full two-week holiday and still fit in that road trip and traveling from

A to B as well.

Okay so step two obviously when you get the France you're

gonna need somewhere to stay. So deciding whether you go north, south, east or west

will depend on how far you want to travel how much time you have to spend

in the country and how long you want to spend in the car once you land on the

other side of the channel. Fortunately to help you decide with go you've got a

range of tools apps and websites you can use to make the entire process of

booking and planning a holiday that much easier. Okay step number three making

your bookings. The first thing to do is to book your ferry crossing because that

marks the beginning of your holiday in France and the end of your

holiday in France. So then you know how much time you've got to play, with what

time you're arriving in the country and what time you're departing - so then if you

need to book additional sites to cater for travel you can do that. Okay

so the first booking we made was the site in the South of France. And we did

that based on the dates that we wanted to get there and leave and to do that I

used Google, I looked at 'caravan sites/ caravan park South of France' looked at

the ones we liked the most and made bookings. But please bear in mind

as we found that there may be availability

on the website but that the website might be slightly out

of date. So if you make a booking, there's every chance until they come back and

confirm it that they could say 'sorry guys we've actually booked that

pitch out' which is what happened to us. Originally we tried to book a pitch

actually on the sand on the beach, but unfortunately that was fully booked. And

in hindsight, it's probably a better outcome because we're now in a

shaded area but literally a two minute minute walk from the beach so

that's worked out really well for us. For the other sites we used the Caravan

Club website - we tried to do that for the site in the South of France

but all of them were fully booked. So that's when I went on a bit of a Google

trawl. The Caravan Cub site it's got a really good overseas

facility where you can look at sites and just search by region. So I looked for

somewhere quite central - found Burgundy to be good. It's just off

one of the main roads that's on our route, so it's going to be quite quite a

quick one to get to, and it breaks the journey exactly in half going downwards

to the South of France. And on the way back up then we decided to bite the

bullet and have a one long stretch from the south of France to Paris. It's going

be a long day but ultimately then it's just one day of driving and then we've

got three nights in Paris to look forward to and to book both of those

sites, and Burgundy, on the outskirts of Paris we used Caravan Club

website and found that a really useful and straightforward tool.

Step number four: gearing up for France there are range of specific rules and

regulations that you need to follow when you're driving in France. We've covered

this in a previous video where we went through this little gizmo that we bought

from Aldi - so we've got all the pack that we need in one in one go and we've put

together a list of all the other bits and pieces that we need to get as well,

which will feature a link in the description. But really - bear in mind

the fact that you will need additional extras; you will need breathalyzers you

will need a GB sticker you will need high vis vests but just a

little guide for you there to help you along with that. In addition to the

previous video that we've done on Caravannery On Tour playlist. Okay step

number five: plan the route. Now, that's really, really important in that planning

the route is going to save you a lot of stress, a lot of hassle and also maybe

quite a bit of money as well when you consider the tolling system that's in

place. There's a previous video which we'll put a link to on the Sanef

tolling system, and a bit more detail on that. But also make sure that if you are

using a Sat Nav that you've got it enabled for France and it's

all set up accordingly, and you've downloaded the latest version. But also

linking up to previous videos, use a map - this is never ever going to drop off

charge, lose coverage - and what we do as well, is we like to just highlight the

different routes that we're going to take from A to B, and making sure that's

all done properly so you know exactly what to expect before you get to the

other side of the water, and it's going to be less stress and hassle then when

you're driving from A to B, and also when you plan your new route it could save

you a bit of money on the toll front as well, because the faster more central

routes ten to be the ones that are more expensive

but then maybe you want to drive on more more country

routes, slightly more winding roads and take your time and take in the scenery.

The choice is yours - but there are pros and cons in terms of timescales and

costs as well. Ok thanks for watching guys - the the final step I suppose is

have fun! Do whatever it is that you enjoy do and

if you enjoy climbing a mountain with a bottle of wine in your hand, then book a

site in the Alps near a vineyard. If you enjoy being by the sea and on the beach

reading a book, book somewhere coastal.

Just do a little bit of research before you

go away, understand the kind of holiday that that you really enjoy, and make

it happen when you make all your bookings and do your planning. And

whatever you do guys - if you are enjoying the videos - please hit subscribe, please

leave a thumbs up - or ideally even please leave a comment. We love to get feedback

from people watching the videos. Just like to say a massive thank you for

watching this video - I hope you found it useful in terms of breaking

down the the various steps to booking a holiday in France. And whatever you do

guys, above all things, make the most your time. Thank you.

Step number four-

And, by the way, there's just ten days to go until we go to

France. Just ten days

and I'm not excited at all really.

Okay, maybe I am a little bit excited.

MAGIC MALICE CLONES 👯 Lilliana's Invention Is Stolen! - Kiddyzuzaa Land | WildBrain Kiddyzuzaa - Duration: 19:44.

- [Child] Kiddyzuzaa!

(dramatic music)

(gentle music)

- There.

Oh I can't wait to show the princesses.

Princesses, guess what I just invented?

- Oh, what is it?

(screams)

(giggling)

- I just made myself a--

- Behold my newest invention.

The cloning machine!

- But hey, that's my--

- Wow that's so cool.

- Whoa, awesome.

- I can't believe it.

(gasping)

- Where did you get the idea Malice?

- Well I just thought one of me is great,

so several mes would be really great.

- So Malice, why don't you show us how it works?

- Oh, uh, sure.

So you just do this

and press that

and then.

(gasps)

(machine whirring)

(yelps)

Clone Malice, there's laundry to do.

- Yes Malice, right away.

- Wow Malice, you're a genius.

- Whoa.

- I wonder if we could clone chocolate.

(giggling)

- Hey, down in front!

- Malice, how could you?

You stole my invention.

- I didn't do anything of the sort.

- I've got to find a way

to prove that it was my invention.

A-ha!

Princesses, I built the cloning machine.

Not Malice.

- Sure you did Lilliana.

That's why there's a lot of Malice clones

and no Lilliana clones.

- I thought you might say that.

This will take us back in time

so you can see for yourself

that Malice stole it.

- All right!

- Let's go!

- Yeah!

- But why not just stay here

and have fun?

- A-ha!

See?

She stole my invention.

- Another Malice?

Wow, I didn't even turn it on yet.

- Malice, I think as punishment

you should do my washing up for a week.

- Ugh, fine!

I guess it's not that bad.

Lilliana, please, no just...

Come on!

(groaning nervously)

(yelping)

- Was that meant to happen?

- No, it was meant to turn it

into a delicious apple pie.

- [Lilliana] Apple pie you say?

- [Olivia] Lilliana!

- At your service.

Lilliana, we really need your help.

I tried to use my wand

to turn the apple into a pie.

But it completely malfunctioned.

- You don't need magic

to make apple pie.

- I do.

- Nonsense.

Wait here.

I'm going to build you a machine

that will make the best apple pie

you've ever tasted.

- Right.

Well Esme that means

it's down to us to get

to the bottom of this.

- Well it's a pretty big apple Olivia

but I'll do my best.

- Not the apple Esme.

We've got to get to the bottom

of why my magic isn't working.

- Right, of course.

Whoa!

- Ugh, come on Esme.

To the palace.

There's got to be something in here.

Let's see.

The origin of chocolate fountains?

No.

Cheese string theory?

No.

The Malice palace paradigm?

No.

- Hang on Olivia.

Look at this.

- What to do if your magic wand stops working.

This is perfect.

To get your wand's magical powers back

you must pay a visit to Mr. Zuzaa

- Who's Mr. Zuzaa?

- The source of all the magic

in Kiddyzuzaa Land apparently,

who lives at the top of Mount Zuzaa.

- Mount Zuzaa.

How do we get there?

- First, you must cross the great Zuzan Gorge.

(wind howling)

Oh.

That was easy.

Next, you must climb to the top

of the mighty Zuzan Oak.

Appreciate the view

and then climb back down again.

Wait, what?

Oh, that is actually pretty spectacular.

- Hey look!

There's Lilliana.

- Right, one apple pie machine coming up.

(power tools whirring)

- Next simply follow the signs to Mount Zuzaa.

This way!

- Ugh, do we have to?

I had a really big lunch.

- Come on Esme.

It won't take us long.

(groans)

- (sighs) Okay, this better be worth it.

- Esme, look!

- [Both] Mr. Zuzaa!

- Correct.

It is I, Mr. Zuzaa.

The source of all the magic

in Kiddyzuzaa Land.

- Mr. Zuzaa, thank goodness we found you.

I really need your help.

My magic wand just stopped working.

- Say no more Olivia, say no more.

- Aren't you gonna fix my wand?

- No, I just wanted you to stop talking.

- Oh.

- Goodbye.

- You mean we came all the way up here for nothing?

- Hang on.

- Yes?

Wait, what are you dong?

Get away from there.

- Isabella!

- Wait, this isn't Isabella.

It's a robot!

Hang on.

Lilliana!

Lilliana, how could you?

Wait, hang on.

This is a robot as well.

Right, I think this is the last one.

Timothy.

This one's definitely not a robot.

- I think someone's led us on a wild goose chase.

(laughing maniacally)

- Those princesses are so gullible.

Whilst they're away looking for Mr. Zuzaa,

I've got all the time in the world

to lay some of my new traps

around this stinky old palace.

Let's see.

Prank number one.

In the Malice Palace paradigm.

What on Earth is...

Uh-oh.

Whoa!

- And done.

Just need an apple

to test it with now.

Huh?

(Malice screaming)

(machine whirring and beeping)

- What's going on here?

- Ah, Olivia, just in time.

One delicious apple pie.

- You know what?

I'm actually not hungry.

- Speak for yourself.

(screaming)

(machine whirring)

(laughing maniacally)

(sighs)

- Isabella, it's okay.

You're not gonna get splashed by the fountain you know.

- You can never be too careful Olivia.

Chocolate stains you know.

- Honestly I've sunbathed here a million times

and I've never been splashed by the chocolate fountain.

It just doesn't happen.

- You were saying?

- What did that?

(both yelping)

- It's gone to the forest.

What was that thing?

- I have no idea.

But I know someone who will.

- Oh, do we have to?

- If there's some weird forest creature

coming into the place gardens, Isabella,

I wanna know what it is.

Now come on.

- Oh, fine.

But if I get mucky,

I'm sending you the dry cleaning bill.

- Come on Isabella!

- Ew, so gross.

- Esme!

- Ugh, Esme!

- It wasn't me!

What, huh?

Oh, hey guys.

What brings you here?

- We need your help.

How much do you know

about the animals of the forest?

- Oh, I think I can help.

Did it look like this?

- What is that?

- Zuzan stink bats.

They're pretty cool.

- Ugh.

- I don't think it was one of them.

It wasn't flying.

It was bouncing.

- Hmm.

A fluhdonk?

Hmm.

Then was it Willard the sloth?

- No.

- Guys.

- There's nothing else it could be?

- [Isabella] Guys!

- Not that I know of.

- [Isabella] Guys!

(gasping)

- That's it!

- Quick, grab it!

(princesses grunting)

Ugh, come on.

Let's get after it.

- What are those for?

- You'll see.

(yelling)

(giggling)

Right.

The thing went this way.

It has to be around here somewhere.

- Okay, let's split up and find it.

Wands at the ready princesses.

- [Both] Hmm.

- (giggles) Oops, just my shadow.

- Hmm.

Hmm.

Ah, time for a break I think.

(gasps)

Hello you.

You cute little thing.

(giggles)

You like raspberries.

(yelping)

- Esme.

You find anything?

- No, you?

- Nothing.

Have you seen Isabella?

(Isabella giggling)

- Isabella?

(gasps)

That's it!

- Esme you scared it off.

- Quickly princesses, after it!

- A break, at last.

- Where did it go?

- Hey, is that a door in the rock?

- Quick, let's see if we can get it open.

(grunting)

- [All] All right!

- Where are we?

- (gasps) Who's that?

Malice?

- Where?

- Wait, Lilliana!

- Oh (giggles) hey princesses.

Welcome to my new lab.

- Oh, there you are.

- I see you've met one of my furgabbits.

- Furgabbits?

Those aren't real.

- They are now

thanks to my creature creator 3000.

Simply place one animal on one end,

and another one on the other,

and boom!

You have a completely new animal.

(gasping)

And before you ask Esme,

we can't try it on you.

It's early days you see.

There are still a few glitches.

- Lilliana, what kind of glitches?

- Oh, it just makes a few

more versions of the creature than you want.

- A few more?

- Yeah.

Don't worry about them.

They'll be fine as long as

you closed the door on the way in.

- [All] Uh.

(screaming and giggling)

(game beeping)

- No way!

Eaten by the demon surprise egg again?

Ugh!

Mr. Snuggles?

Who put this here?

This isn't funny anymore

whoever keeps doing this.

- Tell me again why we're going

for a night time walk in the woods.

- Because it's fun.

- It's not, it's scary!

(screaming)

See?

- It's just Mr. Snuggles, Olivia.

- Well I'm sorry, but even teddy bears

falling from the sky is scary.

Where did he come from?

- [Both] Malice.

- Looks like she's just gone to sleep.

Come on.

- What do you mean come on?

- Malice is asleep.

Have you ever been in her tower?

- No, and I've never planned to.

Ugh, well I'm not going.

I'm just gonna stay here.

Alone.

In the woods.

The scary, dark woods.

Esme wait up!

(yelps) Esme what have you done?

This place is a tip.

- It was already like this.

And shh!

- [Olivia] What a mess.

This place is disgusting.

- [Esme] This is weird.

Our school yearbook.

Our class as well.

Hmm.

I remember that girl.

Alice.

Alice something.

- [Olivia] Why would Malice

have circle Alice in our yearbook?

- [Esme] I don't know.

Unless. (gasps)

- [Both] Malice is Alice!

- [Esme] Hey, when did we learn

to communicate telepathically?

- [Isabella] We didn't.

- [Esme] So we're just talking

out loud in silly voices?

- (gulps loudly) Let's hope we didn't wake--

- [Malice] Malice?

- We should run.

- Quickly, before she knows our plan.

- You do realise you guys

are speaking out loud right?

- We did it again!

- [Esme] Run!

- So you're saying Malice used to be

our classmate Alice and then she turned evil?

- [Both] Yes!

- But what turned her evil?

- Maybe it was something we did.

- Can I have a go?

- I dunno Alice.

It's Mr. Snuggle's turn next.

- Two seconds Esme.

I'm coming up.

- Oh I wouldn't.

This branch might not take

the weight of the three of us.

- The three of us?

- Yeah, me and Mr. Snuggles

are already up here.

- You princesses.

So that means we can talk to each other

whenever we want.

Mr. Snuggles, Mr. Snuggles, do you copy?

Repeat, this is Olivia to Snuggles.

Okay, maybe I wasn't that kind either.

- It's all our fault.

We didn't share our things with Alice

and that turned her evil.

She became Malice because of us.

- Oh no, what are we going to do?

(hands clapping)

- Princesses it's simple.

We'll go 'round there and apologise.

(Isabella moaning nervously)

(gulping loudly)

(doorbell rings)

(Isabella yelps)

(giggling)

- Whoa!

(jet pack engine whooshing)

(gasps)

- Lilliana, are you okay?

- I've got it.

- Got what?

- Malice didn't turn evil

because we didn't share out things with her.

She turned evil because we didn't

share Mr. Snuggles with her.

(Malice maniacally laughing)

- You think I turned evil

because of you princesses

and some stupid teddy bear?

- Exactly.

- Ha!

I turned evil because my whole family was evil.

It's in my blood.

- But, you were cuddling Mr. Snuggles.

- An experiment to see what it felt like.

Ugh, and it felt awful.

Anyway, you princesses are trespassing

on evil property.

Do I need to use my teddy cannon again?

(all stuttering)

- Yeah, I think it's time we left.

Lots to do.

- I'm sorry Mr. Snuggles.

Let's keep this between us, yeah?

(upbeat music)

Jen & Eric Tackle a Pond Problem - Duration: 5:58.

Hey guys what is going on? It's a beautiful day.

Still a bit overcast.

Just found my mojo.

It was gone for a little bit there.

But it's back.

And guess what I gotta do.

I gotta pond problem.

Can you help me with my pond problem?

[lock opening]

[door opening]

I don't know if this is a good idea or not.

So every now and then, the intake

part of my pond, it slides of these

rocks that are stacked on the bottom

and then

it just starts malfunctioning so I have to get

this ladder

and

hang it over the edge of the pond

and then I have my trusting wife

she stands on it

[laughter]

and I got out the ladder over the water

[music]

[nature sounds]

[ladder rattling]

[birds chirping]

Yeah, this is an accident waiting to happen.

Alright, you got me?

-I guess.

Are you starting to go up?

[hahaha]

-I got it

Are you sure? -Yeah

That thing was teeter tottering so we had to stretch out the ladder a little bit.

Alright here goes nothing.

[airplane flying over]

Sit as far back on it as you can.

Whoa!

-What?

It's moving.

Sorry...

My Apple Watch is underwater too.

oh

hahaha

Alright, sit heavy.

Uhhh

I dont understand what's going on here. I cant find the.

Well, that didn't go as planned so...

What's happening is the base of our pond

filter is not sitting flat

and it's because a while back

this rock ummm

slipped into the pond

slid down against it.

and then when it moved

I guess the rock got like underneath

where it needs to sit flat.

So I can't find the flat spot.

But as you can probably guess

there's a solution to every problem

you just have to wrap your mind around it.

Unfortunately for me this solution involes me

going into the nasty pond water.

So ummm

Here we go I'm going to get in there.

I also have a sore on my leg.

Which kinda freaks me out a little bit.

But I did put a bandaid on it, so hopefully.

I won't get like flesh eating disease or anything like that.

Entropy, I'm coming after you!

Alright, here goes.

Jennifer, are you sure you don't wanna go in?

-Yeah I'm sure

Oh it's cold.

And slippery.

Oh man!

[splashing]

I think that's pretty good.

Alright, I'm coming out.

Wooo

-Bet you didn't think you would be taking a dip in the pond this evening.

Nope!

When we built this, we thought we would swim in it.

So this little invention here.

It's usually what we use.

It has a little

Nail hook on the end there.

This is what we use to

deploy the filter.

[bubbles]

Okay

[water running]

[water pouring]

I always have a real hard time understanding

how something like this

This piece of glass.

How

that stuff gets so close to the pond.

Because I've swept the area of glass.

And it's like a big fear of mine,

because I put so much work into the pond

that one day I'm gonna get a hole in the liner,

and then I'm gonna have to find the hole and fix it.

But it'll be ten years

in August that we've had the pond,

and so far we've been really lucky.

Got my fingers crossed.

That we continue to have good fortune.

With the pond, but

it's just weird that glass can just

appear like that out of nowhere.

Anyways, I thank you for watching

And I'll see you in the next one!

Peace

[music]
