Youtube daily report Feb 13 2019

So we have a hands-on video of the Galaxy S10 Plus, just seven days before the device

will go official.

It comes from an online retailer MobileFun, I'll link down the original video in the description

box do check them out.

As you can see the phone has a thick tempered glass screen protectors installed with holes

in it for the camera and for the in-display fingerprint scanner.

The video seems to be captured when the phone was being tested with screen protectors.

Honestly, this screen protector makes the phone look bad.

It also hinders with the user experience.

Swiping around that area will be very uncomfortable for the thumb I guess and I don't understand

why would anyone want to install such screen protectors.

Some people are saying the hole is there for the fingerprint scanner to work.

Some are claiming the ultrasonic scanner may not work with thick screen protectors.

I can't confirm right now if that is the case but Max who's also a credible leaker says

that you don't have to worry about installing this because the Galaxy S10 will come pre-installed

with a screen protector and the fingerprint scanner will work absolutely fine with the

normal ones.

So yeah, you don't have to put this ugly thing and spoil the look of your phone.

So someone leaked the entire spec sheet of all the Galaxy S10 devices revealing everything

about the device.

If you're following this channel then these specs shouldn't come off as a surprise.

But there are few features, though which we didn't know yet.

First of all, there are improvements to the slow-mo videos.

Now we can record videos up to 0.8s up from 0.4 seconds of the Note 9 and 0.2 seconds

of the S9+.

Samsung has also improved the scene optimizer.

Now it should be able to recognize up to 30 scenes, up from 20 on the Note 9.

The camera also supports HDR10+ recording.

With HDR+ enabled the colors should be a lot crisper and there should be a noticeable improvement

in clarity too.

Finally, the display has been improved as well.

The displays will apparently reach 800 nits of brightness up from 700 on the Note 9.

By the way, Samsung is not happy with this leak.

They're investigating the person who leaked this stuff and there may be repercussions.

And It's not like we didn't already know all of this but yeah, I agree that the leaks should

be done in a controlled manner.

A lot of times, companies leak their own stuff to generate hype but leaking a spec sheet

where it's giving away all of the information is not cool.

I hope it doesn't affect the unpacked event which will take place in a week.

Anyway, for all the latest updates on this please consider subscribing and as always,

I'll see you'll tomorrow...Peace out!

Viewers Choice Facebook Live Replay 1/30/19 - Duration: 1:04:36.

hello and welcome to this week's Facebook live how y'all doing this week

had to get a drink of a diet coke hey guys how y'all doing

my lovelies hope you're all doing okay and staying warm because it's nice and

cold here in the south it's too cold for me okay so tonight it's gonna be a

little different with our Facebook love

you know we got to change things up sometimes so I want to change it up a

little bit. it's gonna be very interactive and we're gonna build a card

together I'm gonna give you choices and we're gonna vote on everything and

you're going to help me design this card so the first thing we need to do is

decide on our stamp sets okay so we're going to pick from two bundles in

the occasions catalog we're gonna pick from the climbing rose

bundle and the Florentine filigree so from those two bundles which one would

you like to do a card with tonight? hey Deb I take your heat any day girl

so I want you to comment which stamps. Commit below either the climbing

roses or the Florentine filigree. y'all would like to make a card with tonight

okay

okay so it's looking like climbing roses is winning there's a few more with that

yes It's like choosing in a favorite child. that's funny so I'm gonna give you a

couple more minutes to vote if you haven't already

okay so yeah it looks like the climbing roses is winning so we're gonna use that

one tonight. so we'll save the Florentine filigree for another card okay now so

this is the bundle we're gonna use we're gonna use the climbing roses since it

got a little bit more votes they were close but there was a few more for the

climbing roses because we're gonna use that now we need a color combination so

your choices are soft suede blushing bride and rich Razzleberry or flirty

flamingo daffodil delight and old olive

so rich razzleberry combo old olive combo

okay so we got two so far for the rich Razzleberry

so it's looking like rich Razzleberry is winning by a landslide eight for that

Carrie there was six for the roses before I called called it there was only

like there was two more that came in after I called it for the filigree

yes we'll do the filigree probably Saturday for simple stamping or just for

another Facebook live just for fun okay so so far we rich razzleberries winning so

everybody settled on rich Razzleberry blushing bride in soft suede

it looks like that's what it has the most votes so have that card stock to

the side so this is our card stock we're gonna be using tonight and our stamp set

so now do y'all want to use pearls or rhinestones

I love it that you tell me are voting you asked for both of them that's just

hysterical to me

okay so it's looking like pearls are winning we've got like nine I think

for pearls

eight for pearls one for rhinestones so let's go ahead we're gonna call it and

say we'll do pearls okay now since no and this is the stamp set we want to use

do y'all want to see stamp in bling coloring watercolor pencils watercolors

let's say let's let's do it this way let's say markers or watercolors

so your vote now is markers or watercolors

okay well that water colors is winning by landslide so far so again if you're

just joining us we're picking out what we're doing to not this is the stamp set

in the color combination and we're gonna use some pearls and so the question is

do you want to see markers or water colors so far water colors are winning

so there's 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 7 for watercolors one marker hey have some jokes

huh oh I am entertaining enough huh yeah I could use some jokes today okay so

we're gonna use watercolors this is that seems to be the big winner so let's go

ahead and we're gonna I've already pulled over the watercolor paper so you

may pull these colors

they've got my ink colors

since we're going to use the watercolor paper I'm pulling in the

Stamparatus right there now I just got this stamp set so I have not even opened

it this is the first time I've actually even opened it

so that you get my watercolor paper

trim that down

okay I've got my stazon ink since we're gonna be doing watercolors and I'm

going to ink that up I mean ink the large climbing

rose stamp up in Versamark I mean in stazon stamp that right there

and ink up again

okay it helps to ink up your stamp if you take the little cover off just sayin

okay there's that now let me check my size here I totally think I can get two

on this

we're going to stamp that one more time

go and I'm gonna go ahead and clean this

y'all are silly

being dumb for the Stamparatus right this very second

let's do that right there okay I'm gonna heat dry this to make sure it's nice and

dry

hey guys just joining us we are building a card together

okay so got that dry I'm gonna take my colors that we picked

out and we're gonna start with rich Razzleberry and the blushing bride

okay so I'm going to get my make sure I got water in my brush and somebody asked

me yesterday from my youtube live why I had a like a bruise it's cuz I cleaned

off my brush all my hand. So I'm gonna pull over some of the brushing black right first

i'am gonna color this one in and try to stay off the leaves

so what I'm doing is I'm just kind of putting a fun layer of the first color

on putting a lot shade of the blushing bride on

and this one's gonna be a rich Razzleberry which is gonna be a really

intense color so I got to watch it

maybe that is an excellent idea to use a sweatband on your wrist to do this to

clean it off that's brilliant

let's do this one down here

then we're going to do a rich Razzleberry bud

and a blushing bride bud

okay so let's do this one let's do our other flower we're gonna switch the

colors up a little bit

so these two will be blushing bride

okay let's come back to our other flowers and we're gonna go ahead and add

a second layer of color so we're gonna start with the rich Razzleberry one and

I'm gonna put a more intense color where the shadows are and then I'm gonna pull

out a little bit more water and pull some of that color outs out and soften

that line

- I need zoom in any are y'all okay

okay so everybody seems to be fine

so I'm glad y'all have joined in tonight and you are nice and toasty in your

house since we're having this awful arctic blast or whatever they're calling

it

anywhere that petal is overlapping I'm making sure that I get that a little bit

darker because there would be actually be a shadow there

I know my lovely demo friends in Australia are having a heatwave

I'm gonna just add a little bit more dark the raspberry right in there that

looks better okay we're gonna switch to our

blushing bride so I get a little bit more ink in there

and a pool of ink going

got a little too much so I'm gonna take my paper towel and kind of blot that out

you got my little too wet

turn that just a second where I can see

today where I can see it I think that looks pretty good

so now we're gonna paint our leaves in soft suede I'm actually gonna do them a

really nice pretty like shade of that

I discovered a panel is a rose-petal

and one of the little tricks is to this is you got to keep your paint or ink

away from the wet area of another area

okay so let's do this one why that dries a little bit

okay I'm just gonna say I wasn't too sure about this whole soft suede rich

Razzleberry combo but I'm kind of diggin it

has a very antiquey kind of feel

and we come back up here I'm gonna drop in just a little bit of dark under those

petals where the roses are seeding

and I'm trying to glance up everyone smile and catch house comments so it

looks like we were all thinking the same thing

I got a hair on my brush let's get that off

okay so let's try this

okay I'm gonna cut this out using the framelits which are the rose trailers

thinlits all this just came yesterday and I haven't even opened it pretty very

very pretty

I've got the Big Shot off to the side so I'm just gonna write three real fast

cuts that beautifully

okay so there's our roses cut out and I know if it's to use that and I'm facing

to use this or for our sentiment since we're using the framelits to not I've

got to go get some vent cover so that I can attach these to some things

okay so card base which of the three colors do I want to do is our card base

so we want to do the soft suede blushing bride or rich Razzleberry for our card

base

hey Angie how are you

okay we have one soft suede one brushy bride so far if that hip Shou

okay two and two three and two and there's a monkey wrench in the mix we

got a rich Razzleberry now so it looks at one two three

8:4 blushing brides three for soft Suede's

so still Todd I think let me check again

or there's five South's ways to rich Razzleberry x' yes Krista that would be

you the monkey wrench love you girl it's okay

okay so this for looks like soft suede one so we're going to make our card base

out of salt suede so I'm going to score at five and a half and cut it forward a

quarter there is our card base okay

okay now we're gonna do a move that to side embossing folder do you want to see

the the petal embossing folder or the tufted so pet or tufted pick one of

those

if this helps any can y'all see that better now

okay so it looks like the tough to just weaning okay so we're gonna say tufted

okay do y'all want to see the tufted in blushing bride or rich Razzleberry

Tufted in rich Razzleberry or blushing broad hey Robin Ron lots of blushing

brides okay so we'll do the blue blushing bride so I'm gonna cut that at

four by five and a quarter and I'm going to use the tufted embossing folder that

y'all picked out and we're going to run that through the big shot

okay so there's that vote our card base and go ahead and put that on

press that again real good okay I'm going to run this this thinlet

through with the rich Razzleberry

let's pick all of our little pieces out

little pieces everywhere so we're gonna attach the yes and yeah now we're using

my multi-purpose liquid glue

you know that's never up for a debate

confetti yes ma'am shaker card

okay there's that now let's pull back in our stamp set

did I have moved

right here okay let's see here

what's going to fit

okay so it looks like pretty much any of them would fit so do y'all want to do as

sending love I thought of you today or thank you

I'm kind of digging I thought I thought I'm think of you I thought of you did I

tell you hey right cool with that

okay cut that let me get a block

I was looking for my scrap piece of whisper watch it looks like I used it so

that's okay let's take another little piece okay

do you want to do blushing Bride soft suede or rich Razzleberry on the sentiment

rich Razzleberry

I got one rich Razzleberry two blushing bride Razzleberry two soft Suede's three rich

Razzleberry z' four rich Razzleberry z' to soft suede five rich Razzleberry z'

to soft suede six route travel berries seven rich Razzleberry z' okay so it

looks like it's gonna be rich Razzleberry

let's turn that down oops we cut that out

pop out my little hoes that didn't come out

you think here or here

top or bottom

okay so it looks like at the top okay do we want to pop these up or pop one up so

pop them both up or pop one

about two boats three boats

okay so it looks like both so I'm gonna go ahead I'm gonna add dimensionals to

one of them anyway because we know it's gonna be one of the tail you see pop up

all way to go Gina

that's q-final jeopardy music done don't on time time time time time got up

doctor

so it looks like both so we're going to put some dimensional behind here

you tap those pieces of white off that's gonna go on the top

okay let's put on our pearls

I think that should have been

little card surgery

checking my triangles

okay guys so let's make our inside

for the inside let's do this little bit eros no I'm gonna do the trellis trellis

looks kind of cute

another block and we're gonna repeat our rich Razzleberry

like that that reminds me of a

cobblestone road

okay so that's a card are y'all happy with it

okay we love seeing hearts

okay so that's our car it's not I'm gonna jump off here and so you can if

you just join us you can watch the replay and I would like to thank every

one of you that helps me make this car tonight your decisions were wonderful as

Bayern Munich chief names player who can stop Mo Salah - Duration: 2:10.

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has praised Liverpool's Mohamed Salah ahead of next week's Champions League showdown but is confident one player can keep him quiet

The Bundesliga giants head to Anfield next week to go toe-to-toe with the Premier League title hopefuls, which will see Jurgen Klopp go up against the arch-rivals from his time with Borussia Dortmund

Liverpool face a stern test to overcome the Bavarian outfit and will look towards Salah , who has scored 20 goals in all competitions this season, to provide inspiration in a game that stands as their biggest test so far this season

However, Rummenigge believes the Egypt international could face difficulties when he takes to the field next week as the two-time Ballon D'Or winner named David Alaba as a capable rival for Salah over the course of the two-legged affair

"He is a brilliant player on the right side but we have David Alaba as a left-back, who is also extremely fast," he told SportBild

"We have complete confidence in David who is one of the best defenders in the world

"   Rummenigge is aware that Bayern will face a difficult challenge against a Liverpool side who have lost just once at Anfield in all competitions this season and believes that Klopp 's side could crumble on the road in the return fixture

"A draw would be great, the important thing is to score and not just think about defending

"This could be the cornerstone for the quarter-finals. Liverpool have shown weakness away from home

Kaden's [assumed spelling] ultrasounds and he went to really fussy to completely calm.

The doctor was able to do the entire ultrasound with no problem simply because she was sit

It just is, that was the first eye opener for us.

>> Kaden.

We're part of the therapy team and we're figuring out what goals does this patient have or what

needs are we trying to meet.

Sometimes we're there for pain management and anxiety control.

Spend time with mom and dad.

How can music help to reengage functional skills?

How can music help to give that control?

>> Oh, where oh where is Kaden?

We love Marissa and she is amazing.

I see Kaden.

>> It's like overwhelming sometimes when he crying and there's nothing we can do.

He's hooked to monitors we can't walk around with him.

We can't go and get him what he needs.

And just her music and that guitar I didn't know someone could do that much with just

a guitar.

>> Kaden is here with his family.

Making music today.

Being able to see the eyes light up in the child and the eyes light up with the family.

David Foster's Daughters Joke About Losing Inheritance to His Wedding with Katharine McPhee - News T - Duration: 4:12.

David Foster's daughters have a good sense of humor about his upcoming wedding to Katharine McPhee

After seeing an article that claimed Foster, 69, and McPhee, 34, were planning a $50 million wedding, Foster's daughter, Erin, 36, posted a screenshot of the page to Instagram, captioning the image "There's [sic] goes my inheritance

" Get push notifications with news, features and more. Follow Following You'll get the latest updates on this topic in your browser notifications

In an exchange captioned by Comments by Celebs, Erin's sister Sara Foster, 38, commented on the post writing, "Our inheritance was gone a long time ago FYI

"  McPhee showed her solidarity in the comments, writing "There goes mine too tbh

"  McPhee and Foster got engaged in July. After dodging relationship rumors for months, they confirmed that Foster had proposed with a sparkling emerald-cut diamond ring while they vacationed in Anacapri, Italy

The pair has not yet revealed their wedding date.  The couple has been friends for years — first meeting on the set of American Idol when McPhee was a contestant in 2006

Since her father and McPhee went public with their relationship, Foster's daughters haven't been afraid to tease their dad about his engagement with their soon-to-be stepmom

Erin left a comment on her dad's Instagram post from his vacation with McPhee to Italy in July, calling her soon-to-be stepmom, "Mommmyyy" (alongside a sea of heart emojis)

Sara also got in on the laughs, writing, "Out of the country. What did I miss?"  In December, Erin commented on a sun-soaked photo of McPhee wearing a yellow bikini, writing, "Grandma!!!! Wtf I don't want to be next to you at the pool," Erin said in a message first spotted by Comments by Celebs

McPhee then hilariously poked fun at herself by replying, "@erinfoster Grandma carries it in the back

Don't worry- you'll see my cellulite when I stand up." Foster has five daughters — Sara, Erin, Amy, 45, Jordan, 32, and Allison, 48

Sara posted another bikini photo of McPhee in December, captioning the post, "When your mom refuses to dress age appropriately

"  In response, the singer quipped, "I can't even think of a good response." This prompted Sara to reply, "As long as you keep looking this good in a bikini, I will be writing captions like these

"  McPhee and Foster opened up to PEOPLE about their journey to love in September

"We genuinely love and respect each other and have for a very long time," McPhee said

"She didn't catch my eye on the first day because I was so busy trying to do my job," added David

"But the reality is that in the last 12 years I've always had a connection with her

Acorde guitarra - Re sostenido con séptima mayor - D#maj7 o EbMaj7 - RE#maj7 o MIbMaj7 - Duration: 3:29.

Hello, How are you?

Today's chord is D#maj 7 or EbMaj7

In case of sharp or flat chords, it is possible

if we look forward to seek the classic naming and the orthodox way

I am probably kicking out the rules

this is because it depends on the keynote that I have to name a chord by its flat or sharp name

If I say A# instead Bb I can be falling into error

Our real objective is to know how to put it on the fretboard

If I say A# instread of Bb by mistake (they just sound the same) forgive me

you know a chord is formed by three or more notes that create harmony

And a major chord is formed by keynote, 3rd major and perfect 5th

If we add 7maj

we have keynote, 3rd major, perfect 5th and 7th major

If a D# or Eb chord is formed by

D# or Eb, G and A#

D#maj7 or EbMaj7

is formed by D# or Eb

G A# and D

Now I'm going to show you three ways to do it, there are more but these are the mos used by me

first is with keynote on 4th string

finger 1 fret 1 string 4

finger 2 fret 3 string 3

finger 3 fret 3 string 2

finger 4 fret 3 string 1

5th and 6th strings are not played, you can hear this chord is really beautiful

next, keynote on 5th string

we put a capo on 6th fret

string 4 fret 8 finger 3

string 3 fret 7 finger 2

string 2 fret 8 finger 4

6th string is not played

there is other way to do it with keynote on 5th string

and it sounds really cool

fret 6 finger 4 string 5

finger 3 fret 5 string 4

and a capo on 3rd fret

again 6th string is not played

D#maj7 or EbMaj7, it is the same

Ok, be good!

Human history has to be rewritten - Duration: 4:57.

Eight teeth and fragments of a lower jaw.

This find in the so-called Misliya Cave in the Carmel Mountains, astonished scientists

world wide.

The oldest known remains of Homo sapiens so far from Africa reveal surprising insights

to the life and the walking routes of modern humans.

In plain language: The well-known "out of Africa theory", which suggests mankind originated

in Africa, must be rewritten!

We've gathered all the interesting facts about these surprising finds in Clixoom Science

& Fiction; welcome!

Don't forget to subscribe for three new videos every week!

You might've heard about it in your history lessons: According to recent findings, Homo

Sapiens originated in Africa around 300,000 years ago.

But the oldest fossil finds to date, which are clearly attributable to Homo Sapiens,

are only around 160,000 years old.

However, genetic projections have led research teams worldwide to assume that our ancestors

originated about 300,000 years ago.

About 60,000 to 120,000 years ago, according to the so-called "out of Africa theory", modern

man should have left Africa - that's what findings from that period show.

The current finds from the Misliya Cave, which is only a few kilometers from the port city

of Haifa, now suggest that human ancestors have turned their back on Africa much earlier.

Namely, 50,000 years earlier than previously thought - at least 177,000 years ago.

The Tel Aviv University research team has used various dating methods to determine the

age of the eight teeth and upper jaw fragment.

Different methods used in different studies and laboratories gave consistent and truly

impressive results: According to these, the fossils are between 177 and 194,000 years

old!

Using the so-called uranium-thorium dating method, also called u-series dating, another

result revealed itself.

Here, the natural radioactivity of the uranium isotopes in the fossils is analyzed.

According to this, one of the pieces of tooth found is 70,000 years old - but the Israeli

research team sees this result as the lowest age limit.

One explanation for this result could be that the teeth have changed as a result of the

petrification process and the dating thus seemingly results to be too young.

But at this time the Neanderthals also lived in this region - could the finds belong to

them instead?

The research team could rule this out based on dental examinations.

Incidentally, the current find is based on a study from the past year by scientists from

the Max Planck Institute for the History of Mankind in Jena.

Based on a genetic analysis, the scientists had hypothesized that modern man had left

Africa earlier than previously thought - about 200,000 years ago.

The new study also supports other recent findings of evolutionary geneticists.

DNA studies by a research team from Leipzig last year, suggest that the paths of Homo

Sapiens and Neanderthals had crossed 130 to 145,000 years ago.

For Your Information: About four percent of the human genome comes from Neanderthals.

So even this study from Leipzig suggested that homo sapiens already moved out of Africa

around 130,000 years ago and that there was sexual contact.

But the current find not only readjusts the "Out of Africa theory," but also provides

clues as to how modern humans have come from East Africa to Asia.

Because two routes are discussed: One way leads over Egypt and the Sinai Peninsula;

the other route leads from today's Ethiopia over the Arabian peninsula.

The now discovered site suggests that the Homo Sapiens probably first came across the

Nile valley.

It was the beginning of the colonization of the whole earth by Homo sapien man.

It happened even earlier now and there will soon be more and more accurate insights.

Quick HIIT Indoor Cycling Workout | 22 Minute Strength Intervals - Duration: 22:11.

(upbeat music)

- Right, welcome to a GCN

realtime training session.

Today we'll be climbing the Passo Campolongo

going in the Alta Badia region of the Dolomites.

I'm joined with Chris Opie.

- Hello.

And we're aboard the Wahoo Kickr,

and we've also got the Wahoo Kickr Climb and a Headwind.

We've got a 3.9 kilometer climb at 7%

which is perfect for some torque

and high cadence intervals.

- Yeah.

- It's gonna hurt. - We've got five sets

of those two minute efforts,

with two minutes recovery in-between,

you'll be pleased to know.

We've got a very short warmup,

so start raising your heart rate.

Getting that blood pumping around the body.

Coming up to one minute to go before the first session.

- And the reason for doing these efforts

is they're great for muscle recruitment,

and then you've got the high speed efforts

to teach you how to pedal really quick,

and really help you pay attention to how you're pedaling.

Really good effort.

- Yeah it's good for your leg speed

isn't it Chris? - It is yeah.

But it's a nice short session

that you can cram in at almost any time in the day.

(energetic techno music)

- It's worth noting

we have linked our Wahoo elements to our Kickrs

so that we're climbing those at 7%.

And it feels like it as well, I have to say.

- Bit of a struggle.

Right, just 35 seconds to go now

before we

crank up the intensity to nine out of 10

on the perceived exertion scale,

and that will give us a cadence of,

well we want to target a cadence of 55 to 65,

so around 60, really.

- Yeah, around 60 would be perfect,

so think about your gear choices.

We wanna really get all those muscle groups working.

Alright, think about it now.

You've got 10 seconds to go.

- Maybe tying your shoes.

Change gear, maybe.

- Alright. Five seconds.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

- Go! - And go.

So really focus on 60 rpm,

and it's gonna be at a

perceived effort around 9.

So this should be quite hard.

Straight away,

you're gonna feel it on the first effort.

But as your legs get warmer, you will loosen off,

and it ought to feel better.

(breathes heavily)

- Try and relax your hands.

Keep a nice neutral position on the bars.

Really focus on driving through your legs.

Through your hips, glutes,

pedaling nice round circles.

That's kind of the beauty of this session

is that you can pay attention to the form.

- That is exactly right.

Alright, 10 seconds coming up.

10.

Nine.

Eight.

Seven.

Six.

Five.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

- Now straight into 110 reps per minute

so you wanna shift down a few gears.

Really spin quickly.

Little bit over the top there.

So similar power numbers.

Again, right up over your threshold.

If you use the power meter,

nine or 10,

if you do know the feel.

- Yeah, really work hard

on keeping that high cadence.

If you can hit 110,

well done to you.

It's not as easy as it looks,

but get as close to 100 as you can.

- Just 20 seconds to go now,

then we got a nice two-minute recovery.

So really squeeze.

Really push on.

Keep that cadence up in that zone where it's meant to be.

(breathes heavily)

10 seconds.

- Five.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

And back off. - Nice.

You wanna bring your cadence down to around 80, 85 now.

Don't back off completely.

You'll want to keep at

kind of an endurance level

so the sort of pace that you might maintain

for a good couple of hours out on the road.

Where sentences are short.

- Yeah, enjoy this recovery though.

It's only short.

So you've got two minutes,

but make it worth it.

Make sure you've got a lot of liquid on board

to keep you nice and hydrated,

and take a look at that view.

Isn't that view lovely, Chris?

- Nice and sunny.

- Oh it's beautiful!

I have to say,

I did enjoy doing this climb

for all of you out there.

It's a great perk of the job, isn't it?

- So by now you'll be feeling pretty warm, I would imagine.

You'll probably be feeling your quads a bit.

But just enjoy that recovery.

80 to 85 cadence,

trying to hold it there.

Around level three on the perceived exertion scale,

so you've not eased up completely.

You're still pedaling a bit,

maintaining a bit of effort.

Don't forget it's only a short session,

so you don't need to ease off that much, do you?

- No, that's correct.

Now under a minute to go now,

so start thinking about selecting the right gear for you

to keep that 60 rpm cadence,

which is really important.

And before you know it,

recovery session will be gone

and we're straight into the next effort.

- That will be number two of five,

so we're ticking them off pretty quick.

- Yeah we are.

- Thirty seconds. - That's the beauty of a

nice short session, isn't it mate?

- Yeah.

Feel free to stand up and have a little stretch

that sort of thing

in-between these efforts.

You wanna be comfortable

so you can get the most out of them, of course.

And these efforts are great

for when you get back out on the road,

and you're on undulating terrain,

the group's going faster,

it's going slower,

or if you don't ride out on the road,

then it's just really great for

making sure all of your muscles are working together.

Four seconds.

Three.

- Change gears now. - Two.

One.

There we go.

Cadence is 60 again.

(moves into higher tempo music)

Really kind of wanna feel like

you're doing weights at the gym with this, don't you?

- You do indeed, yeah.

I'm hitting 60 rpm now.

So this is what it should look like.

(breathes heavily)

This does get you working hard,

but it's short enough to get your head round it,

and make it worthwhile.

I've got my Kickr Climb here,

working its magic,

keeping me at the percentage of the climb.

- Just another 24 seconds on this one, there.

20 seconds,

and we'll be into that high-cadence burst again.

That's where you'll really see your heart rate climb.

That's where you really kind of have to cling on

for this effort.

That's where the magic's done.

That's where your muscles get back up to real speed,

where they need to be working.

Five seconds now.

Two.

One.

And drop down.

You might find it easier to slide around on the saddle,

I always wanna go further forwards

for the fast cadence stuff.

- Yeah if that does help, feel free

to move around on the bike.

Raising that cadence.

Getting that leg speed up.

- Remember, try to keep your upper body nice and relaxed.

We're not fighting the bike.

you wanna be nice and comfortable.

Loose hands on the bars.

Make sure it's your legs that are doing the work.

- 30 seconds now.

If you do feel you're bouncing on the saddle,

drop it down a gear.

- 15 seconds.

- 10.

Come on now.

Drive it in.

Five seconds.

- Three.

Two.

One.

- And back into your recovery. - Back into recovery.

80 to 85 cadence.

Don't back off completely

it's alright to freewheel for that first couple of seconds,

but keep a little bit of load onto your legs.

This will actually help you recover.

If you ease off completely,

your legs will go to sleep almost.

It's better to keep the blood pumping,

keep them moving.

This is a great session for muscle activation as well.

Really focusing on that high-torque, low-cadence effort

will really help you be more aware of how you're pedaling.

- I can definitely feel the percentage

on the Kickr Climb.

Can you mate?

- It starts to bite a bit, doesn't it?

- It does. - Just like in real life.

- Right, you should be feeling good now

nice and warmed up after two efforts.

Remember, you've only got three more to go,

so really make these count.

- It's only a short warmup,

but by the time you've done two reps

you'll really be able to squeeze the best

out of yourself now for the last three.

- Another 50 seconds

and then we're back into the high-torque effort.

Low cadence, really churning that gear over,

paying attention to keep the pedals

going all the way around the circle.

Over the top you're pushing down and driving forward,

but your heel underneath,

you're flicking that back up,

and pulling it back up on the pedal stroke.

It's the beauty of the

high-torque, low-speed effort,

is you can really pay attention

and really nail that pedal stroke.

And put it to good use with that high speed afterwards.

- Alright coming up 20 seconds left of your recovery.

- 15 to go.

(breathes heavily)

10 seconds.

Get that gearing ready.

Get ready to press the lap button.

Get comfortable on the bike.

Three.

Two.

One.

Come on, push!

- And watch that cadence if you've got cadence sensor.

- If not, you can count it out pretty easily

every time your right leg hits the bottom,

should be once every second.

(breathes heavily)

- Drive it in now.

- Come on, we're nearly halfway through now.

It's easy after this.

- Ah yes. It is.

- 30 seconds to go.

- I'm really feeling it.

Are you mate?

- Yeah, starts to burn now down back.

- In just a short session you can really

get some hard work in.

- I have to start focusing on relaxing my hands on the bars.

- 10 seconds left of this high-torque

effort.

Then we're straight up to 110 reps.

If you can't quite get 110,

105 is also a great starting point.

There we go. - Right, jump it down now.

Rev it up.

Work on that leg speed.

- Keep it in a big gear.

You wanna keep the maximum effort up there.

So it's quite hard to push this gear around

at that speed.

It's not easing off yet,

that's for sure.

(breathes heavily)

- Alright.

30 seconds left.

- Come on.

Only two more to go after this.

We can push on through the pain right now.

- Just sitting on that 110 rpm.

- What these efforts are great for

is if you're racing

and you go over the top of a steep climb,

and then have to accelerate.

Really helps your body adapt to that.

Five seconds!

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

And recover.

Back down to 80, 85 cadence.

That muscle, like a three out of 10,

sort of feeling in your legs.

- That's exactly right.

- Breathe deep, get a drink.

- Right, only two minutes to go left in recovery now.

Enjoy it.

Take a drink,

and reset for the next effort.

- Just got two more left now.

Really gonna make these count, aren't we?

- Yeah we are indeed.

- You should be 100% warm by now.

- Look at those views, Chris.

Stunning.

That Alta Badia region in the Dolomites

is just incredible to ride your bike.

I think you actually did the Dolomite,

like the Maratona route, didn't you mate?

- Yeah that was painful, there.

(laughs weakly)

A few of these sessions would have helped.

- (chuckles) yeah

- You should be feeling completely

thoroughly warm by now,

after 12 minutes of quite intense exercise.

The beauty of this session

is you can fit it in at anytime in the week,

anytime in the day pretty much.

It's only 21 minutes.

- Exactly.

Everyone can fit in 21 minutes of work

as a session.

If you wanna use it as a warmup, you can

for another session.

- Yeah you could turn down the intensity a tiny bit,

couldn't you?

- That's correct.

- 40 seconds to go now.

(exhales)

I'm hot.

Need to stand up.

So another 30 seconds,

you're gonna start thinking about that gearing.

What gear you're gonna use,

how you're gonna sit on the bike.

Try to relax your upper body.

Try to really drive down and around through your legs.

Creating a really good solid pedal stroke

without any wasted energy.

- Alright 10 seconds now.

Think about that gear selection.

- Three seconds.

Two.

One.

And we're off.

60 reps.

Nine out of 10 effort.

Really driving.

I'll be honest, I'm starting to feel it, mate.

- Yeah I definitely feel the lactic starting to bite,

but not long to go now.

Really make it count.

- Try and relax your hands on the bars.

Don't start wrenching.

That's not the way to do it.

You wanna drive through your legs.

- Minute half left this effort.

You can do it.

Come on!

(breathes heavily)

- In 20 seconds time we'll be back to that high-cadence.

It's the penultimate one though,

and then you've got one more after this.

Can definitely get through that.

10 seconds.

So get ready to be gearing,

as soon as you see the minute complete hit 110 reps.

There we go.

Again, I find it easier to slide forward

and get the cadence that way.

- Go on, drive it home now!

Really try to get up that cadence.

- Oh I swear it burns.

- It's not easy,

but you'll reap the rewards

at the end of this session, trust me.

- Okay, heart rate 180 now.

- Really get that leg speed up.

20 seconds now.

Go on! Dig in.

- By now you'll be feeling it everywhere.

There's only one more to go.

10 seconds.

Five.

Three.

Two.

One.

Right that's that final recovery now.

80 to 85.

Keep a bit of pressure on the pedals.

We're not easing up completely yet.

We're not at the top.

- If you do wanna get off the saddle,

feel free to.

Stretch off the legs.

Can be quite uncomfortable doing high-cadence effort.

- Breathe deep.

Have a drink.

(water bottle gurgles)

and mine's almost all gone.

(breathes heavily)

That was the highest heart rate, then.

- Yeah.

- I can feel it in my quads right now.

- It's a feel good session, this though,

isn't it mate?

- Yeah it does.

- When you get off this,

you'll feel the endorphins,

and you really will feel

more awake

and better for it.

- Yeah, if you're traveling or you're pushed for time,

or you just wanna include it

later on in the day,

it's ideal for that.

It's a sort of thing

I find myself doing on travel days quite regularly.

- Yeah

- One more minute of recovery,

and we can really nail this last effort.

Try and squeeze out

a little bit more than we have done

if we can.

- Alright, 50 seconds left

of this bit of recovery.

If you do feel like you could get more out of the

effort on the drops, then feel free to.

I find it comfortable on the tops,

but do whatever feels right for you.

That's really important. - 30 seconds

Alright, last one.

We can really squeeze out a bit extra I reckon.

- Yeah I reckon we can, mate.

- Tie my shoes a bit more.

Shake my legs off a little bit.

Always helps.

- Alright we made it to 10 seconds

I'll let Chris--

- You gonna count us in?

- You're gonna count us in, mate.

- Alright.

I like the power.

Five.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

Come on guys!

- And on the pedals.

- That's it, now.

The final one.

You squeeze out a bit more effort from this.

Really push.

- Make this one count.

- Imagine you're doing

kind of max squats in the gym,

that sort of feeling in your legs.

Engage all those muscle groups,

and make sure you pull back up as well.

Don't neglect the upstroke.

(breathes heavily)

- Really feeling the burn now!

- Yeah, I feel it in my calves.

30 seconds to go.

Try and relax those hands.

It's really tempting to wrench on the bars,

but that's not gonna help you.

It's a bad habit to get into.

15 seconds on this one.

Leading it at high cadence then.

Right, five more seconds.

Five.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

And straight into that high-cadence burst.

- Alright last minute.

- Same effort as before - Make this one count.

It's gonna hurt,

but you've only got 50 seconds left.

So come on.

Really dig in.

We're all with you.

We're all hurting.

No pain, no gain, as they say.

Alright 40 seconds.

- Come on!

Final 30 seconds!

We can really squeeze this out now.

This is where all the good work's done.

That final interval.

- Squeeze it out.

(breathes heavily)

- 15 seconds to go.

- And 10. - 10!

- Go on, Chris.

See us out.

- Come on guys.

Five.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

That's it!

That is it. - And well done.

That's a shorter session,

but it's a hard one.

(moves back to lower tempo music)

- There we go.

Heart rate's falling back down into place now.

- Stretch out the back of your knees if you need to.

- Legs are starting to feel a bit more like they're

still attached to my body as well.

- Yeah.

Right, there you have it!

We've finished our 21 minute session.

If you do wanna keep on

having a more of a warm down

then make sure you stay on the bike.

- Yeah, a good two to five minutes was the idea, wasn't it?

- Yeah, exactly.

And if you want to

get some more training programs,

then we've got loads here at GCN.

- Have a click down there.

- Click down there,

and scroll through the library,

and pick one that suits you.

Don't forget,

if you did enjoy this session specifically,

then make sure you give it a thumbs up,

and let us know how you get on

in the comment section below.

- That was hard.

- That was hard.

I need a coffee, do you? - Yeah.

THE EXPLOITED-PUNKS NOT DEAD-MEXICANOS REACCIONAN - Duration: 9:11.

How about friends as they are? this is mexican curious watching, how about adan, how do you

goes? Very good people, greetings. very well Gentlemen, we hope you meet

the best, do not forget to subscribe, give Like, comment, leave us your likes,

share our video and also your recommendations, leave them there

annotated and we will see a recommendation of a comrade who has written to us from

Chile, which has also asked us to some videos that we send greetings,

how do you call yourself on YouTube adan? He calls himself "janicidio

the pious "And he also told us that greetings also to his

Panchita, so he wrote us, we sent them Hugs, greetings, kisses, good vibes, everything

gentlemen to chile brothers, the we really appreciate, what's the name

song and the band? The band called "the exploited" and the song

"punks not dead" "the exploited" is a hardcore punk band, trained in

Edinburgh, Scotland in 1980, that is, already They are 39 years old. And we were checking that

are still active, then it is wonderful, if they are

of hard bone to crack as it is told, I really like punk, in my

adolescence I listened a lot to the punk, then let's listen to "the

exploited "with the song" punks not dead " with the method of

synchronization, in which you need a pc or on the laptop or have two

devices, in one ending the counting regressive they give him play and in another they follow

seeing our reaction gentlemen, so let's see "the exploited" and

we comment a little bit to see how it is this song, let's do the counting

regressive gentlemen 5 4 3 2 1 let's go gentlemen

there is

start with screaming

very well

but it is old school punk gentlemen, classic

that's great to enter the to slam

the punk is not dead, I know

there if they changed it a minimum change but it's done

that guitar sounds good, the guitar in the background

a guitar solo, apart when they change compass, like the drums makes a cut

what makes sounds good, that's right

very well

is rude

and usually the punk songs they were made as somewhat short, very

short if, for the message to arrive direct as it should be, that's right, well

here the message that punk has not dead gentlemen, but good that then in

the 80s, unfortunately right now

other things have happened, sorry there he got a video already removed, as it

reproduces automatically, reproduced automatically sorry,

then it says a bit the lyrics, all we are punks and we do not care, we are

guys in boots that dye their hair, leather jackets, jeans and boots, running

every night, that's right, he mentioned in the 80s the punk movement itself was very

strong, unfortunately in late

the 80s and early 90s, some punk bands started coming out,

that deformed the movement, They became very soft. The known ones

as happy punk and good originated in the usa in southern california,

that's right, they brought a sound yes with a punk base, but like that more syrupy,

more for the masses, more commercial, as such the commercial word, to get to

sell more, which was what I was looking for, but still bands like

"the exploited" continue, perhaps in minor amount, but they are still there and yes, the punk

He is not dead, maybe if he has diminished punk as such, the one

describes there, that of the standing hairs, hairs painted,

leather boots, Denim pants, very tight, very

tight, here in Mexico also like being

relegated a little, that's right, here in Mexico there is a tianguis that is called the cultural tianguis

of the chopo, in which there was often punks, that's right, but suddenly like that

They were, as it is told? exterminating. It was coming

that fashion to chopo too, in which the punk like this guy ceased to exist,

not 100% but it was arriving the punk of the one who

we talk, now like the chopo is retaking that ideology of what is

punk and many bands more than they make music with message, because I tell them

unfortunately the punk here in Mexico, the best known, the most commercial,

has some gentlemen letters that are truly junk, has nothing to

see with punk, they talk that "I fell in love with my girlfriend, she left me, I'm already drunk "

for me that's it, it's a very personal opinion, then well

it was many punk bands in Mexico, another not so much adan, another is still on the way

of rebellion, anarchy, as can be said and they continue to do

strong letters, letters that have a message to open the mind, here I am going to

read one of the last chorus, says us We refuse to hear your lie, do not have

fear, until the day that die, swearing to those who are out there, not

I like it, it would throw you to the ground, it's part of what the letter says, I say

true punk was always like that, not Adam? with letters that

minimum they gave you a message so that you were cheated by the system,

so to say it. What is everything contrary to these bands that arrived

with the punk tag, they do not have nothing of punk and they came to mess up what

that was the original punk movement, That's right, unfortunately. And yes, punk,

the classic, the original, the old school, was plus a letter against the system,

the anger against the system, the questioning the person how they

developed in that system and yes, the now nothing to see, nothing to see. Yes and the

that follow, are bands with a lot influence of these bands, worth the

redundancy or pubk bands that really yes they are attached to what is

the movement, but good gentlemen, already it is in everyone's opinion, you

Say what you think of the real punk let's say it, of true punk, with

rebel letters, anarchists, very regardless of whether or not it succeeded

all that message, but there it is, tell us what you think, tell us

you what is your favorite band of true punk, because as we say,

there are many who say they are punk, but, no, Nothing else because they stop

little hair with gel, of that mucus of gorilla, they already say punks. But I do not know

you need to have an ideology as a so radical to get to that point

punk and good gentlemen, something more than Do you want to add adan? Well as they say

"the exploited" the punk is not dead gentlemen. He is not dead yet, it's like

once we talked, punk is not dead, the one who is dead is you for punk,

with your ideas already very soft, then let's go gentlemen, be careful, of

again we send you greetings to our comrade "janicidio the pious"

and his panchita, very good, we send you hugs together with

your panchita, take care, greetings until Chile, we want them, we want them to

everyone from all over the world, thank you very much for seeing us, listening to us,

leave your comments, opinions, not forget to subscribe,

like, share gentlemen, thank you very much and there we see it in a next video gentlemen

there we see her, goodbye, goodbye.

The Halifax Explosion: What Is Courage? - Duration: 5:35.

On December 6, 1917 a massive explosion occurred in the harbour of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

At precisely 9:04 a.m. the French cargo ship SS Mont-Blanc, loaded with 2,400 tons of highly

explosive wartime cargo, collided with the Norwegian ship SS Imo.

What followed was the largest man-made explosion prior to the development of the nuclear bomb,

as well as a story of selfless courage.

Within twenty minutes of the collision, the resulting fire ignited the explosives on the

Mont-Blanc, resulting in a disaster causing horrific damage, injury and loss of life.

Approximately 2,000 people were killed instantly due to collapsed structures, falling debris

and fires.

Another 9,000 or so were injured and within a half-mile radius, nearly every structure

in the path of the explosion was destroyed.

A tsunami wave resulting from the blast came ashore and wiped out a settlement of the Mi'kmaq,

an indigenous tribe.

Many people at the time mistakenly thought the explosion was the result of a German U-boat

attack.

As is often the case in disaster scenarios, individuals stand out who display heroic acts

of courage and selflessness, and who don't

shrink back from the challenges set before them.

Such was the case that December morning in Halifax, when Vince Coleman, a railway dispatcher

working less than a mile from the explosion, learned what the Mont-Blanc was carrying.

Observing the burning ship just prior to the explosion, both he and his co-worker decided

to run from what they knew would be a life-threatening situation.

However, remembering that an incoming passenger train carrying upwards of 300 people was only

minutes from the rail yard, Coleman turned back and sent an urgent Morse code message,

causing the train to stop saving the lives of the passengers.

The Maritime Atlantic Museum reported this chilling version of his message:

"Hold up the train.

Ammunition ship afire in harbour making for Pier 6 and will explode.

Guess this will be my last message.

Good-bye boys."

Minutes later Coleman perished in the catastrophic blast.

WHAT IS COURAGE?

It has been said, "Courage is not the absence of fear (as Coleman no doubt had) but rather

the judgment that something else is more important than fear."

Now the average individual will not likely end up in dramatic circumstances requiring

such a courageous response as Mr. Coleman's, but this does not mean that courage is not

a requirement at times in daily life.

Charles Swindoll once stated - "Courage is not limited to the battlefield or the Indianapolis

500 or bravely catching a thief in your house.

The real tests of courage are much quieter.

They are the inner tests, like remaining faithful when nobody's looking, like enduring pain

when the room is empty, like standing alone when you're misunderstood."

It also involves making character building decisions ---where to do the right thing does

indeed take courage.

Circumstances in life do often arise which require difficult and courageous choices and

decisions to be made on which character is built.

As Winston Churchill said - "Courage is rightly esteemed the first of human qualities . . . because

it is the quality which guarantees all others."

Oftentimes we cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand.

So, how do you play the bad cards that maybe have been dealt to you?

How do you find ways to be courageous in the face of great adversity and calamity?

With some, life challenges lift them up instead of knocking them down.

They become unshaken, courageous and determined to do what is right and not always what is

convenient.

Sometimes in fact having courage requires hard labour!

In the year 1648, poet Robert Herrick wrote, "If little labour, little our gains".

In other words "no pain, no gain."

The people who have learned to look at challenges as valuable teaching moments tend to be the

wisest and strongest.

They don't shrink from challenge but rise to the occasion with courage.

Coleman was killed in the massive explosion that fateful day, but the heroism, courage

and selflessness he displayed in the face of imminent danger may well have been responsible

for the safety of many lives as all incoming trains to Halifax came to a screeching halt.

Coleman didn't live on to experience life and to view the positive results stemming

from his sacrifice, but his example of courage is something that will live on and from which

we can all learn.

The next time you are faced with a particularly difficult and trying challenge which requires

great courage, ask yourself what can I do and what can I learn from the hand dealt to me.

Liverpool legend: Why I would rather have Raheem Sterling than Mohamed Salah - Duration: 2:36.

Sterling has been in fine form for Manchester City in recent weeks. The England international has scored 12 goals in the Premier League this season to go alongside his nine assist

Liverpool forward Salah, though, is the joint leading scorer in the top flight with 17

Nicol's ESPN FC colleague and former Chelsea midfielder Craig Burley says Sterling's recent improvement puts him ahead of Salah at the moment

"I would say at the moment Sterling," Burley said. "Sterling has taken his game to another level

Everything. Touch, strength, vision. He really has." Nicol agreed with Burley and says Raheem Sterling's performance against Chelsea on Sunday, where he gave Cesar Azpilicueta a tough time, proves why he is ahead of Salah at the moment

"I'd have to agree," Nicol said. "Azpilicueta is arguably the most consistent and best right-back in the country

"Sterling absolutely tore him apart, he didn't know what to do. "He didn't know whether to close him, come off him, he couldn't handle him for pace

"You name it, he had Azpilicueta on toast." French football expert Julien Laurens also chose Manchester City star Sterling over Salah

"I would go for Sterling right now, I agree with the boys," Laurens said. "I think he gives so much to this City team, whether it's with goals or assists or even creating things

"And I still think there is so much room for improvement left in Raheem Sterling

"It is actually quite scary for the years to come." City went back to the top of the Premier League following Sunday's win over Chelsea, ahead of Liverpool on goal difference

Plattalloy XL Alloy - Kevin Guay - Duration: 0:41.

One of our most exciting innovations is the Plattalloy XL Alloy.

It's been a big asset to many of our customers in the marketplace, we have one customer in

particular in Illinois, who reports a five to seven times extended life on their wear

components on their flap valve.

Which, in terms of downtime, has saved them a significant amount of money.

So by moving to Plattco valves, and then moving to our XL coating, we've more or less eliminated

90-95% of the maintenance time required on their transport systems.

Joel Embiid Says Refs 'F**king Sucked' After Sixers' Loss to Celtics | Heavy.com - Duration: 5:03.

Joel Embiid Says Refs 'F**king Sucked' After Sixers' Loss to Celtics | Heavy.com

The frustration from Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid was apparent after the team's tough home loss to the Boston Celtics on Tuesday.

While the Sixers were unable to overcome a late deficit, a few questionable calls, and non-calls late in the game left the big man unable to bite his tongue.

In turn, he sounded off on the referees and will likely have a fine coming his way.

As ESPN's Tim Bontemps detailed, Embiid openly stated the "referees f**king sucked" during his postgame press conference.

Joel Embiid, when his presser ended: "These referees f—-ng sucked." Then, he got up and walked out.

— Tim Bontemps (@TimBontemps) February 13, 2019    .

Embiid also took the blame for the loss as well, stating that he was "sleep walking for three quarters," as Sixers analyst Jon Johnson revealed.

"I was sleep walking for three quarters, & that's on me" – @JoelEmbiid   — Jon Johnson (@jonjohnsonwip) February 13, 2019  .

Joel Embiid's Frustration From Questionable Missed Call?.

While it was a tough loss for the Sixers who trailed throughout the fourth quarter, Embiid may specifically be citing one moment late when the officials opted not to call Al Horford for a foul.

Embiid attempted to go up for a shot and made contact with both of Horford's arms, but the referees let play go on.

Here's a look at the play which may played a big role in the frustration of the Sixers star after the game.

Turnovers with the game on the line… Just hate to see that from Embiid.

pic.twitter.com/3k4nhEaW6q — Holiday Mickstape (@MickstapeShow) February 13, 2019    .

Regardless of whether or not it was a foul, there's no question that Embiid will hear from the league after these comments.

He does have a strong argument, but there's nothing that can be done at this point and the loss was a tough one against a Boston team that's had Philly's number over the past few seasons.

Joel Embiid's Tough Night Against Celtics.

While Embiid even admitted to getting off to a slow start on this night, he managed to finish with 23 points, 14 rebounds and three assists.

Unfortunately, he was unable to get much going until the fourth quarter.

Embiid shot 9-of-22 from the field and 2-of-8 from beyond the arc, making this a rare night where he was unable to find the bottom of the basket at a consistent clip.

On the bright side, the Sixers won back-to-back games prior to this, including a victory over one of the Western Conference's best teams in the Denver Nuggets.

Although it was an off night for Embiid, he's now posted a double-double in his last nine games and 11 of 12.

He's playing at an incredible level this season, and with the impressive group general manager Elton Brand and the Sixers front office put together, they'll be a tough out in the postseason.

"Wildlife" photography fail with the Bronica - Duration: 7:53.

Good morning guys, I wasn't expecting fog this morning

But when I woke up, I saw it and I had to get out. I came across this scene right here

there is a nest of storks, they were here and I was going to try to

To make an image of them in the fog, but they flew away and they are up there now

So I'm just waiting to see if they come back once they get used to me. Hopefully! The camera is ready,

the composition is ready. I just need the storks to be

On the nest so hopefully that happens soon

I'm trying to give them some space and see if that way they come back to the nest, but they are not buying it

They are still up there

I left my cameras there all setup, but I don't think this is going to work

I've been here for a half an hour or so

They are still there. One of them maybe taking a nap actually, so I don't know

This image is not gonna happen today. They believe I'm here to eat them

I'm just gonna take the two compositions that I found for this nest without the storks in it

I think it's still gonna be a good couple of images. So we'll see

I really wanted that shot of the birds. It's a real bummer that it didn't happen

I guess that's why I can't be a wildlife photographer

but anyway

I moved on because the day is still pretty foggy and I love these kind of days as you guys know. As you all know

I like power lines, too, in the fog, and I found this one... this post or thingy. It's actually

acting as a frame for the next one. That's what I was trying to do here

I'm just using my normal lens, orange filter

HP5 1600 ASA, I mean, it's always the same, there is nothing else to say about it. It's pretty easy

I switched to my long lens now, the 150mm. This is making the pole that is farther away look a little bit bigger

It's compressing that background

as you can see

I'm using the tripod even though the shutter speed is 1/500sec

I could be shooting this handheld

But the reason for using a tripod here in this case is because I'm trying to capture that symmetry of this

Pole that is here in the foreground

And when I do that, when my image has some kind of symmetry and some really strong lines

It drives me crazy when there is some element that is a little bit out of place. That's why I use a tripod

So I can be very methodical about the composition and have everything in the perfect place

This is gonna be the last image of this morning

as I said, I wasn't expecting to be here today making images, but when I saw the fog outside

I just ran out of the house and I forgot to grab some film

so this is the only roll I have and this is the last shot of the roll, and I'm gonna be using

this last frame to capture

once again, more power lines in the fog. I know I'm getting repetitive here

I believe that you can't have too many images of

the same subject or similar subjects like power lines

The reason for that is because when you go back to your past work from months or years ago

say that you're putting together a book, an exhibition, or any other kind of project with your images

The more images that you have of that subject the better

In a few months time or a few years whenever I decide to do something with the images that I'm making today

I'm gonna be very very thankful that I have, say, 8 to 10 great

compositions of power lines in the fog because I'm gonna be able to select the best ones from from there

I kind of got it

It was with my digital camera and a little bit rushed composition because I knew they were about to fly away

But I think I got something, hopefully it looks good

Yeah, pretty happy now
