Cosplay Room Tour/ Tips & Tricks für euren Arbeitsplatz | JakCosplay - Duration: 6:09.

Hi everybody welcome to my new video

Its been a long time, I am doing this video in german

Because I am filming this one relatively spontaneously without a script

You may know that I moved into a new apartment last year ...

... and my crafting room is finally done.

So I thought this is the perfect oppotunity to film my room tour for you.

So I can show you my main workspace, where I sew, do all the craftings, film my videos ...

... style my wigs ...

... and everything else that has to do with cosplay.

Since it would be boring to show you only this room...

I thought it would be interesting to give you some organisation tips for your own workspace

So this is what this video is all about.

I will try to link all the products in the description box below

Since I have some of the products for a very long time I do not know if these are still sold

I will try to find some alternatives for you, If I miss something feel free to ask!

So lets get started with the wall behind me!

At the time I bought these beautiful pegboards at IKEA

and that is a system that I personally find very stylish and also practical

you can get a lot of accessories for this system

which is great for all kinds of things.

For example, you can get short and long hooks for hanging sewing supplies, scissors, wire and much more.

I also like these reel holders very much on which I sort my tapes, this is also ideal for cords and reels.

In addition, I have some of these acrylic sliding boxes ...

... and clips which you can use to attach notes but also something like work gloves

You have a lot of possibilities with this system, because it can be changed and even extended.

Right next to my peg boards, I have two boards with spools of thread

These ones are selfmade.

You do not need more than an old wooden board, a few long screws or nails and two hooks to hang.

I wrapped the board with a piece of wallpaper and removed the heads of the screws with an angle grinder

On the other hand, I also have two magnetic walls, which I mainly use for upcoming projects.

I collect fabric samples, reference photos and templates over here.

You can also use pin boards made of cork as well.

One of my personal favorites is my old Kallax shelf, which got a makeover some time ago.

I also covered the doors and drawers with wallpaper.

I store my sewing supplies in this rack. For this I like to take these small acrylic boxes.

These pearl boxes are great for sorting eyelets, press studs, studs or buttons.

On top of my KALLAX shelf are my pens, modeling tools, scissors and cutter.

Of course, a little decoration should not be missing, so I recently bought this beautiful bookstand and the letterboard to match my pencil cups.

Let's move to my personal storage wonder!

This super cheap wooden shelf is right behind my door ...

... because this place should not be wasted.

If you are having a small workspace, you should always use the entire height of your room.

So you are able to stow as much as possible.

My boyfriend has painted the shelf with white paint to match the rest of the decor ...

... and even screwed it to the wall, because it has to withstand a lot of weight

I store everything here in different transparent boxes from the office supply.

Each box is labeled so I can quickly find what I'm looking for.

Here I store my fabric, my wigs, colors, sewing accessories and much more.

Since we already talked about transparent boxes, this is one of my favorites, also from the office supply.

You can use these hanging files for all kinds of paper, in my case I am using this box for my sewing patterns.

So I always keep track of my previous and upcoming projects.

Yes, we are still on the wall you saw in the intro behind me,

This is my magazine holder, of course I do not use this one for my magazines.

This is where I store my cutting mats, cardboard, PVC sheets, foam boards and much more.

Since not all materials can be rolled up, this is a very simple option to store a lot of stuff.

In any case, you should pay attention to buy a model that is open on the sides, so you can store wider plates.

Let's get to my actual workspace! My sewing table.

This is just an old wordrobe with an wood plate on top.

Especially for sewing you need a certain working depth, which makes working very pleasant.

I also use this table for crafting. In this case my sewing machines come into the corner and I put a large cardboard on the work surface to keep everything clean.

A lot of you asked where and how i store my heavily styled wigs.

Here comes the answer!

Since many of these wigs are relatively heavy and not so stable, I stick each of them on a styrofoam head.

I mounted some furniture feet on top of this shelf to give them a stable stand

You can buy these at IKEA in two heights in a pack of four

I protect the wigs with a foil

On the opposite side of my room is my desk, which I share with my boyfriend.

Here I edit my photos and of course cut my YouTube videos.

I also want to give you a little insight into my photo/ film area, which is located on the other side.

I completely dismantle my studio everytime after I used it, because it occupies almost the entire space.

I store all of my backdrops on the wall, so I can change them easily.

Paul Glatzel and Bobby Duncan were once again the goal heroes as Liverpool progressed to the last eight of the FA Youth Cup

The prolific strike duo were both on target inside the opening 12 minutes as Barry Lewtas' side secured a hard-earned 2-0 fifth round victory over Wigan Athletic at Chester City on Wednesday night

Glatzel, who now has 22 for the season, opened the scoring after five minutes before Duncan's 21st of the campaign doubled the lead

The Reds were then made to strive for the victory against a Wigan under-18 side previously unbeaten this season

Liverpool , who will now travel to Bury in the quarter-finals, were not at their fluid best but a solid rearguard action – and some admittedly iffy Wigan finishing – saw them over the finishing line

Glatzel and Duncan set the tone again If there was some surprise at Liverpool moving into a two-goal lead inside the first 12 minutes, the identity of the goalscorers was very much expected

Such has been the prolific nature of strike partnership Glatzel and Duncan this season

Glatzel notched the opener after just five minutes, thrashing home a first-time left-foot angled drive from just inside the area after a Luis Longstaff pass had been partially cut out by Wigan skipper Scott Smith

Duncan struck seven minutes later. Longstaff, Abdi Sharif and Jake Cain exchanged passes before Glatzel was fed inside the area

His ball left, intended for the incoming Longstaff, instead found Duncan, who held off the advances of a Wigan defender and fired a right-foot shot on the turn that went in off the far post

Both goals were an example of a pure striker's instinct from the duo. Duncan had another first-half effort cleared off the line – Glatzel unable to reach the follow-up – but chances were at a premium for the remainder of the match as Wigan responded well to going behind

With Wigan containing a number of players formerly on the Reds' books and coached by Liverpool-born Peter Murphy, there was a definite edge to this game

And the game being switched from St Helens,where Lewtas' side had been playing their ties, to Chester meant there was no real home advantage for the Reds, particularly with the Wigan fans loud and numerous

The exits of holders Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal has now opened the path for Liverpool, seeking their first Youth Cup triumph since 2007

Gemma Winter is known as a loudmouth on Coronation Street, but tonight her antics had hilarious consequences when she accidentally taught Chesneys son Joseph to say a very bad word.

The gobby kebab shop worker let slip with a strong expletive as she burnt her fingers while taking a tray of fish fingers from the oven while cooking tea for the seven year old and his dad, who shes just started dating.

bosses skillfully miaowed out the swear by cutting to a ginger cat sitting outside the kitchen window, who took off in fright at the sound of Gemmas vulgarism. Unfortunately Joseph was standing in the doorway and heard her shout f asterisk asterisk asterisk .

Gemma immediately made clear to Joseph that she was in the wrong and he should never use that word.

Its always a bad word and its the very worst word you could say, she told him.

Nobody can say that word, you wont ever say that word.

Gemma, I had to cover my dogs ears just then so he doesnt repeat what you said, chortled one fan on Twitter.

That was a great way to disguise the rule about not swearing before a certain time with that cat meowing and jumping off, said another viewer.

But the situation backfired when Gemma was later enjoying quality time with Chesney and Joseph interrupted them, refusing to go to bed.

As Ches ordered him upstairs he repeated the word, directing it angrily at his dad who was stunned and demanded to know where he had picked it up from, and Joseph dobbed Gemma in.

Ha! Joseph swearing! Highlight of the episode! laughed another soap watcher.

This has caused the first fallout between the new couple, who recently got together after months of flirtation.

Joseph is Chesneys son with the late Katy Armstrong, who died in a car crash in Portugal in 2017.

Katy gave birth while she was playing Mary in thenativity at Weatherfield Community Hall.

The young mum moved away with Joseph for a new life in Portugal after splitting from Chesney, and the doting dad brought him back to Weatherfield following the news of her death.
