Yarn 1.0, Design performance and the theory of Super Chicken: FrontEnd news (4 Oct'17) - Duration: 4:48.
Good news everyone!
Yarn version 1.0 has been released.

Hi!
Let's talk today about Yarn version 1, Design performance and the theory of Super Chicken.
I'm Anatol and you are watching the Good Parts of the Frontend development.
[Music playing]
News number one: Yarn version 1 point 0 has been released.
Yarn has got the workplaces for mono-repositories (if you need them).
What else, lockfile auto-merging is a really great feature, because previously the only
option was to delete this lockfile.
In addition, you can play with selective version resolutions for sub-dependencies.
Also a new release introduces semantic versioning and a better code performance.
Probably Yarn will not be able to replace npm.
Nonetheless, the competitor delivered a good punch to the giant.
GraphQL is new API standard that was invented and open-sourced by Facebook.
If you're interested in this technology then let me share with you "The Fullstack
Tutorial for GraphQL" - the free and open-source tutorial to learn all around GraphQL to go
from zero to production.
Another interesting article is "A beginner's guide to making Progressive Web Apps".
This short tutorial covers such topics as: adding an icon to Homescreen, making your
website able to work offline, hosting and testing Progressive Web Application.
You can read this article on Medium.

Should the designers consider the loading performance?
How to design a performance?
Addy Osmani invented 3 stages of loading: "Is it happening?
Is it useful?
Is it usable?"
Take a look at this short interview.
One more interesting interview is coming next.
Matt and Addy chat with Eric Bidelman about what the Lighthouse team has been working
on lately.
Lighthouse is a tool that audits your site in terms of PWA support, Accessibility and
performance.
Custom elements become a part of our Front-end reality.
"Custom Elements Everywhere" is the project, giving you an ability to check custom element
support against main popular JavaScript frameworks.

Nick Babich, in his turn, posted the article "The Most Important Color In UI Design" on
Babich dot biz.
This article is fully devoted to blue color.
The author derives why blue is the chosen color.
There are a lot of examples of using blue as a color of innovation spirit.
If you're learning a new library or framework and you'd like to create an app to understand
it deeply, you might be interested in this site.
You'll find here a list of interesting ideas for your next project.
One more exciting non-tech speech is "Super Chicken" by Margaret Heffernan.
It tells about a team, collaboration, synergy and explains why a team of regular but passionate
software engineers can be more productive, than a group of super stars.
I recommend you to take a look.

Does Milk Contain Protein? - Duration: 3:28.
hello welcome to health and fitness please leave your comment after watching
this video and also subscribe our channel does milk contain protein milk
and milk products are good sources of protein and also contain many other
valuable nutrients including calcium potassium and magnesium because milk is
often fortified with vitamins A and D it can be a good source of these nutrients
as well drink low-fat and fat-free milk if you're on a calorie limited diet
protein types milk contains two major types of protein casein and whey casein
proteins form curds when acid is added to milk an important step in the cheese
making process casein makes up 82 percent of the
proteins found in cow's milk whey proteins are those found in the liquid
portion of milk that remains after it has been curdled and strained both types
of proteins are high-quality and provide essential amino acids for protein
synthesis whey protein in particular is highly usable by the body it is a rich
source of leucine an essential amino acid involved in muscle protein
synthesis protein amounts one cup of nonfat milk contains eight point seven
five grams of protein as fat content of milk increases protein content decreases
slightly one cup of low-fat milk one percent or two percent milk fat contains
eight point five three grams of protein one cup of whole milk three point two
five percent milk fat contains seven point six nine grams of protein the
recommended daily allowance for protein for adults is 46 grams per day for women
and 56 grams per day for men dietary guidelines recommend choosing low-fat or
nonfat milk and milk products for all those ages two and older low-fat and
nonfat milk will provide similar amounts of protein and other nutrients and less
in the way of saturated fats and calories declining consumption since the
1930s Americans have been drinking progressively less milk in 1970 per
capita fluid milk consumption was zero point nine six cups per day in 2013 it
was about zero point six 1 cups per day consumption of milk substitutes such as
soy milk almond milk and rice milk on the other hand has been steadily
rising retail sales of plant-based milks are over 1 billion dollars annually soy
milk comes the closest to cow's milk nutritionally and contains 6.95 grams of
protein per cup almond milk and rice milk contain far less protein than
either cow's milk or soy milk almond milk contains about one gram of protein
per cup and rice milk contains less than one gram per cup milk proteins versus
soy milk proteins consuming protein containing foods or beverages and
engaging and resistance exercise are both key ingredients in building lean
body mass or muscle mass researchers in Canada compared the effects of soy milk
proteins and cow's milk proteins on muscle mass accretion they found that
while consumption of either soy milk or cow's milk along with resistance
exercise resulted in muscle mass gains cow's milk proteins promoted increased
gains it is important to note however that this was a single study and only
included eight study participants in addition the study was supported by the
US Dairy Council thank you for watching for more subscribe to our Channel and

Client Testimonial - Kim and Adam from Semaphore Park - Duration: 1:19.
We had been living in our home for 12 years and decided it was time to
renovate and extend. Our existing kitchen, laundry, toilet and bathroom were located
in an old lean-to section at the back of our house. The areas were very old and
small and very tired. The whole back end of the house
just didn't work for us. After a lot of research and figuring out what we needed
we decided to take the next step and research for builders.
We chose Dowling Homes
because the fixed price was not only competitive but we also found Kym
Dowling to be very easy to communicate with and very easy to deal with. This was
all really new to us, but Kym and the team at Dowling homes looked after the
whole project. From start to finish the whole process was very professional. Our
extension came in on time and on budget and we are truly happy with our
beautiful home. We highly recommend Dowling Homes.
Their work is top quality and high end and we just love it.
Thanks again to Kym, Jan and
all of the team at Dowling Homes.
