Youtube daily report Oct 4 2017

Careful Steven, don't bite down, you'll break the thermometer.

Ah, 98.6, good, nothing to worry about.

Uhh, Peridot. Do we really have to do this everyday? I mean, couldn't we, maybe, do the health check ups - Once a week?

No, this is fine. It's better to gather data as frequently as possible

Y'know Data's not going to stop me from getting sick again.

It's good to be prepared Steven.

Ok but, I just don't want you to waste too much time worrying about me.

*SNORT*

You can't waste time worrying

*WARP PAD ACTIVATES*

We're back

Hey Jasper, hey Lapis!

STEVEN! put that knife down, you'll cut yourself!

Hey guys...

Jasper: Hello Steven Lapis: Hey Steven!

Jasper: Did you sleep well?

Yeah I slept pretty great!

At least until Peridot woke me up again with her health check up

Health checkup? Are you sick?

You don't look sick

No, I'm not sick. Peridot's just been doing health check ups on me everyday since I caught that cold.

You're still doing that?

Yes I'm STILL doing that Jasper. Unlike SOME gems I actually care about Steven's safety.

We all care about Steven Peridot, you're just being overbearing

I AM NOT OVERBEARING!

I'm maternal

Steven, tell her

well you did take my second pillow away, cuz you said it might be...

...dangerous

I was worried about you being smothered in your sleep. Anyway you don't need two.

It was nicer with two though.

For someone so worried about smothering you seem to be doing a lot of it

Lapis: OOOOOoooooohhhhh

*Deep breath*

Jasper.

don't you perhaps have something

HEAVY, you need to be...

MOVING AROUND?

Steven. We're going out now to go on a mission, would you like to come with us?

I can go on the mission?!

Peridot: WHAT!?

*THUMP*

S-Steven can't go on mission! It's too dangerous, he's not ready, he doesn't have any of his powers, he can't-

Jasper: I ASKED! Steven...

Don't worry Steven, we'll be there to protect you.

Yeah Steven come with us, it'll be great!

You'll get to see us fight a giant monster up close!

Perdot: NO HE WON"T! He has to stay at a reasonable distance.

I wanna go on the mission!

Ah, Steven your first mission! You're gonna have so much fun!

Steven & Lapis: *Happy Laughter*

STEVEN WAIT!

You're still wearing your pajamas!

Okey Steven, let's wee here while Jesper and lapis scout ahead that way

We'll always be close to the war pad, and he's anything dangerous happens. Hey Steven come look at this. It's super gross, okay

What is this stuff we don't know it's some kind of slime residue made by the monster we were tracking

It's harmless to us, but it's killing all the plants around here plus. It's totally gross

Lapis don't get that muck away from him there could be

infectious

peridot

Lazuli lapis don't you dare?

Over here

Climb across

Mmm

Stay calm Steven use your arms to balance and walk slowly pearl if you need to

Careful Steven

Stephen when you're in the field

It's important to obtain as much knowledge of the area as possible so though you have the tactical advantage to crush your opponent's

Get on top of that vantage point tell me if you see anything important

What do you see

Well, I can see a lot of things I can see a big lake over that way

There's a bunch of rocks and what looks like more broken pillars up ahead

And then there's what kind of looks like a big clearing where surgeries are falling down

That was close you could have fallen and seriously damaged your cranium at least you were wearing your helmet

Hey, Steven want me to fly you around and look for the monster. Do I great we'll go right now

Peridot what are you? Don't worry peridot? I'll be fine. I'm with lapis whoa

I'm okay

She'll be fine. Oh

Hey, there's another river, and it's filled with gross slime stuff hey that must be where the monster is

Let's go get it whoa

Lapis shouldn't we wait for the others it'll be fine Steven come on it, but it's over here

Lapis I'm not so sure and it even come look lapis

Are you excited Steven if your very first official mission monster isn't it cool?

Yeah, it's pretty cool. Like I guess I just didn't think it would be so

funny

You want to see me beat it up

Okay, sure

Hey, you wanna bubble the gym I can bubble Jones probably try it out

Stephen you did it you bubbled your first gem we should go show Jasper repaired on ok

Hey guys look what Stephen did I bubbled a gym Stephen? You're helpful. Even you

Okay good mission everyone well done Stephen time to go home. Oh

Isn't this better Stephen nice and safe nothing dangerous

Capable of lately preferred in your bio matter you must be so relieved to be home

Well you've had a busy day Stephen time for bed, but it's not even lunchtime yet, Oh Stephen you and your

food

Okay, you can have lunch, but then you have to put on your pajamas and go to bed

Well

Steven

Home Easter Steven. I thought your heart had malfunctioned. Oh, and you spill your milk really Steven

You know better than a meat snacks in the dark

Peridot you don't have to apologize Steven. I'll clean this up, and you can just go back to bed

I'll tuck you in when I'm done

I'm not tired. What was that Steven? I said, I'm not tired are

You upset about your milk Steven, it's okay. We can go down and get you some more tomorrow. I'm not upset about the milk

I'm upset because you wouldn't let me do anything all day even though it was my first mission

and then you maybe go to bed at lunchtime and

It is tomorrow, which is why I'm not tired

Steven I be not so sure I like your tone young man

Stephen you've contaminated your plasma. Oh Stephen Stephen. Where are you going?

Stephen you can't activate the

Even even come back here, you're not even married shoes

Look even what are you doing?

Even please get down from there. It's dangerous keep it on yourself or better yet

Just be still and I'll get you down peridot

Peridot I'm really sorry I scared you. I know that you worry a lot when you think I'm in danger from rocks

Or we're getting sick or being on missions, and I know it's because you care

But you can't always be there to protect me from all that stuff. You need to let me do some things on my own

You okay, buddy

My head hurts

Well you did fall off of rock that

Stephen I

Realizing me a bit a bit

constraining with you lately, so I am going to be making an effort to allow you more freedom to

Learn on your own does this mean you're gonna stop doing health check-ups of course not even you just got concussed

Hmm, but after you get better we can change it to once a week like you wanted oh

Okay, hey can I have my second pillow back?

Cool

My head still hurts

The Chiefs Are The Last Undefeted Team as They Escape the Redskins Late!! - Duration: 5:24.

Monday Night Football's latest great match up was a contest between Indians versus Indians.

So when the dust finally settled we weren't shocked that the Indians won.

LOL!

Nah I'm just playing It was the mother effing Kansas City Chiefs who ended up bagging their

fourth W of the season with their impressive 29 to 20 victory that ended a little closer

than someone would think.

Gunning for the dome right out the gates that dude Kirk Cousins came out swinging like he's

Aaron Judge at a company softball game.

With this being a Contract year for money out of Michigan State Captain Kirk made favorable

business decisions by choosing to link up with his brand spanking new 6'4 receiver

Terrell Pryor Sr. early to put the Chiefs in a bad spot.

Pulling up in the pocket as Kansas City dialed up the blitz the homie Kirk Cousins delivered

on an absolutely beautiful bomb that flew 50 yards in the air before Terrell Pryor got

in position to pull down the pass to blow the doors off 3 minutes into the game.

They must of thought they were Michael Vick and DeSean Jackson.

The Kansas City Chiefs who this year so far tend to start games off strong found themselves

in a unfamiliar spot as the Redskins got a quick 10 to nothing lead heading into the

start of the second quarter.

Quarterback Alex Smith who is often labeled as a Game Manager though seemed to be perfectly

comfortable playing from behind as it was him and his squad that had to drag themselves

out of their early hole.

But I guess it's nice to have a nice running game to depend on, as rookie sensation Kareem

Hunt yet again put up another 100 yard rushing game to take things to the Redskins mother

effing neck.

But what was embarrassing for Washington is the fact that Kirk Cousins some how ended

up leading his team in rushing with 38 yards on only 7 carries.

Robert Kelly where you at my guy.

But don't get it twisted though the homie Alex Smith wasn't gonna get out done as

he himself had seven carries of his own to the tune of 56 yards including a 1 yard touchdown

off of a play action play to fool the Redskins defense to give the Chiefs their first lead

of the game early in the third quarter.

But I find it ironic that in a city that is famous for it's barbecues that it was the

Washington Redskins that ended up loosing two players with Rib injuries like the Chiefs

were tryna get their grub on.

But you tell me, is Travis Kelce invited to your family cookout?

I mean, the Chicken Head dance money hit in the endzone after catching that 17 yard strike

from Alex Smith was cleaner then Steve Harvey's shoes on Easter Sunday!

With long time tightend Vernon Davis Bobbing & Weaving the Chiefs defense on a 25 yard

pass from Captain Kirk in which he then turned into a 69 yard gain after beating Kansas City's

Justin Houston on a mismatch set up the Redskins to quickly reclaim the lead in the game as

Kirk Cousins found Ryan Grant in the back of the endzone to go 17-14 in what was turning

out to be a great game.

But as the game came down to it's final seconds Washington's Josh Doctson was in

prime position to play the role of Team Hero as money was so close to bringing down a 22

yard game winning touchdown which would of gave the Redskins a 24-20 lead with 50 seconds

left to possibly put the Skins at a Division tying 3-1 mark four games into the season.

Having to settle for a game tying field goal instead though The Chiefs then would only

take 46 seconds to march down the field themselves where kicker Harrison Butker nailed the game

winning field goal with four seconds left with a 23-20 lead.

With little to no chance to make anything happen the Redskins attempted to pulled off

a miracle on the last play of the game as Chris Thomson's fumble was picked up by

Justin Houston as he said "See Ya Later Scrubs" and stiffed armed Chris Thompson

back to the ground as he high stepped his way into the end zone on a 13 yard return

to officially turn out the lights on the Redskins night as the Chiefs gave the home crowd an

emphatic win!

But what did you make of this great Back & Forth game?

Should the Redskins rush Josh Norman back onto the field with his rib injury to help

them stay competitive within their conference?

Are the Kansas City Chiefs really the best team in the league since they're the only

ones still undefeated?

Should the NFL change their dumbass catch rule which could of given the Redskins their

must deserved win?

I mean, if a runner is going down with control of the football as the ground can't cause

a fumble then it's purely stupid that a catch is erased if the ground does the same

on a catch.

Word!

But You Already Know, I Don't Have An Opinion, I Just Spit Faxx!

Fibromyalgia - causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, pathology - Duration: 7:29.

The term fibromyalgia can be broken down.

Fibro- refers to fibrous tissue, -my- refers to muscle and -algia refers to pain.

Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition, which occurs more often in women, that causes widespread

muscle pain, extreme tenderness in various parts of the body, and sleep disturbances.

Normally, if a person cuts their finger, a specific type of sensory neuron called a nociceptor

or pain receptor, converts that stimulus into an electrical signal.

These are the first neurons and they're primarily found in the skin, joints, or the

walls of organs.

The electrical signal goes from the dendrite of the nociceptor into its peripheral axon

branch and heads up the hand and arm towards its cell body.

The cell body is located in the dorsal root ganglion which is a cluster of nerve cell

bodies located in a dorsal root of the spinal nerve.

The dorsal root ganglia contains the cell bodies of many sensory neurons that receive

information.

So in this case, the cell body would receive the electrical signal, and if it's strong

enough, it would start to release substance P, which is a small chemical involved in pain

perception.

Substance P would go down the other axon branch of the nociceptor and would get released from

the neuron's terminal button.

Substance P then binds to receptors on a second neuron which has its cell body located in

the dorsal horn of the spinal cord, which makes up the back portion of the spinal cord

that receives sensory information.

There is also a separate group of neurons called inhibitory neurons in the spinal cord

that dampen or reduce the pain response, counteracting the effect of nociceptors.

These inhibitory neurons release neurotransmitters such as serotonin and norepinephrine and they

also act on the second neuron in the spinal cord to inhibit the pain signal.

If the signal from the nociceptors is greater than the signal from the inhibitory neurons,

then it triggers the second neuron in the spinal cord to fire an action potential.

This electrical signal goes all the way up the spinal cord to the brain where the pain

is perceived.

So while, the pain signal races towards the brain, important events are happening in the

damaged finger as well.

Epithelial cells near the damaged area start to release nerve growth factor.

That nerve growth attracts nearby mast cells which start to release even more nerve growth

factor - amplifying the effect.

The high levels of nerve growth factor do a few important things to nociceptors.

It boosts the growth, makes them more sensitive to pain, and makes them produce even more

substance P.

In fibromyalgia, the underlying mechanism isn't well understood, but there seems to

be a problem with how the brain receives pain signals.

Generally speaking, individuals have low levels of serotonin, which is involved in inhibiting

pain signals, and elevated levels of substance P, and nerve growth factor, which are involved

in propagating pain signals.

Together, these are thought to play a role in the hypersensitivity to pain, which hints

that fibromyalgia might be a condition of central sensitization.

In other words, if a person with fibromyalgia were to cut their finger, they would perceive

more pain compared to other people.

In addition, central sensitization means that a person might have a wide range of sensitivities

- affecting everything from how they sleep to how they feel to how they think.

If the person with fibromyalgia has negative emotions like depression, anxiety, and psychological

factors like negative beliefs and attributions it can also amplify this sensitivity to pain.

Fibromyalgia often runs in families so there seems to be a strong genetic link too.

And environmental factors like child abuse are also linked to fibromyalgia.

Diagnosis of fibromyalgia is generally based on a few factors.

First, there's pain in at least seven or more areas of the body, with a symptoms severity

scale score of at least five points out of a possible twelve.

The symptoms severity scale gives points for a wide range of symptoms - everything from

difficulty concentrating and remembering things - sometimes called "fibro fog" to fatigue

to poor sleep and waking up unrefreshed and having a headache.

Alternatively, there might be pain in at least five or more areas of the body, with a symptoms

severity score of at least nine points out of a possible twelve.

Additionally, the symptoms have to be present for at least three months, of course, the

pain cannot be due to another disorder.

Treatment of fibromyalgia requires a holistic approach.

Regular exercise like cardiovascular fitness training which includes fast walking, biking,

swimming, or water aerobics can help by reducing pain and fatigue.

Relaxation techniques and good sleep hygiene can also help.

If these approaches don't work, medications can be used.

For example, amitriptyline, and serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors, or SNRIs, can help by

elevating serotonin and norepinephrine levels.

Finally, anticonvulsants like pregabalin and gabapentin which slow nerve impulses can help

with sleep problems.

All right, as a quick recap, fibromyalgia is a long-lasting condition that causes widespread

muscle pain, excessive tenderness in many areas of the body, and sleep disturbances.

And people with fibromyalgia have a lower threshold to pain.

The diagnosis is often made with a clinical history which shows over three months of widespread

pain that cannot be due to another disorder.

Treatment of fibromyalgia involves in easing symptoms to improve the quality of life.

In some people, regular exercise and sleep may reduce pain and fatigue.

In other people, antidepressants, like SNRIs reduce symptoms.

CHINA : Man stuck mid-air to skip hotel bill ! ( Guizhou ) - Duration: 4:14.

Hi everyone, on the menu today, a tour on the roads of Japan, a hold-up at the United States,

a spectacular escape in China and a game rather funny, welcome to Jo Extrem '.

In Japan, there were suspicions saying that a group of motorcycles drove in a dangerous way through the country,

showing a blazon of recognition in the back : "refreshing".

A video taken from a car allowed autorities to end the recurrences of three men.

Another dangerous behaviour was spotted at an intersection in the district from Shibuya to Tokyo,

a 52-year-old man didn't wait at the red lights, failing knocking down pedestrians.

In his second passage, he is even chased by the local police,

but decides to run away without stopping, flashing so that the crowd scatters.

This man M Toshio Mikichi could lose its driving licence.

Before leaving the realm of the rising sun,

I discovered that we were in the Golden Week which is in fact a period of 7 holidays in China starting from October 1st, national feast day.

The Chinese take advantage of it to travel and to make purchases at the Japanese neighbors,

in particular in the district of Akihabara where they can buy products without taxes, books,

video games and beauty products !

Sir ! Mass your cheeks with these balls, it is revolutionary, you will look ten years less old.

Let's remain in Asia, in Guizhou in China,

you are going to tell me "but what is this man doing master , perched above, tangled in the electric cables as high as the 19th floor of the building nearby. "

And well that's simple, he did not want to pay his invoice of hotel so he runs away through the window to join the opposite building by hanging from cables...

Except that he underestimated the challenge which waited for him.

He will be helped by fire brigades and arrested by the police.

Now we are at "Crawfordsville" ,in Indiana, where the Police was called to "Back Step Brewing Company" for a possible hold-up.

Policeman perceives a masked man and asks him to drop his weapon immediately, what he does not make.

Then, officer opens fire on the suspect, but misses his target, bullet miss the head before fitting in the building.

Bandit removes his mask and shout that it is a movie...

Actually, it was an amateur shooting but nobody had been warned...

To fiinish, we leave on these images of an original game,

a goose which comes to annoy a poor man, by pricking him his tools, his keys.

it is called "Untitled Goose Game" by "House House" and should be released in 2018, goodbye!

10 More Quotes That Prove the Spartans Were History's Best Trash Talkers P2 - Duration: 6:40.

10 More Quotes That Prove the Spartans Were History's Best Trash Talkers P2

The quote: "Not how many, but where?". Context: How Spartan's enquired about enemy forces. To say the Spartans loved fighting is an understatement so massive its gravity would turn a block of frozen titanium into a 3-mile wide puddle.

Undefeated in almost every engagement they ever took part in, the Spartans were understandably rather confident in their skill.

This is no better summed up than by the fact that it was Spartan tradition to never enquire about the size of an enemy force, only where it was located so that they could walk over and stab it to death.

Given that the most famous battle the Spartans ever took part in involved just 300 men* fighting against an army of well over 100,000 and almost winning, it should go without saying that this wasn't just a hyperbolic boast intended to scare an enemy or something.

(*We know there were actually about 7,000 total, but by the end only 300 Spartans remained among the 1,400 or so Greeks who held the Hot Gates so we're sticking with the legend. The quote: "Athens is taken.".

Context: Spartan general Lysander's letter home after ending a 27-year long war.

Spartans intensely disliked flowery language and would literally beat the desire to say any more than was necessary out of children from a young age, physically punishing any child who gave an answer to a question deemed unnecessarily long-winded.

This led to even regular Spartans becoming masters of the understatement. For example, after ending a nearly 3-decade long conflict known as the Peloponnesian War by utterly decimating the Athenian navy, Spartan general Lysander sent a letter home simply saying, "Athens is taken.

" Now if you think that Lysander couldn't have possibly been any more succinct, we're sorry to say that you've made a terrible Spartan because although Spartan statesmen were happy Lysander had achieved victory, they weren't all that impressed with the way he announced it….

The quote: "All you needed to say was 'Taken'.".

Context: The reply from Sparta to Lysander.

Yep, the Spartans genuinely thought a 3-word letter detailing how a war had just been won was two words too long, and were so annoyed about that fact they wrote a pissy letter back to a guy who'd just crushed an enemy that had been a thorn in the collective side of the entire state telling him so.

It's not known if Lysander responded to this letter but we're going to assume that if he did, the font he would have used would have been so small it could only be read with an electron microscope the size of the bag of craps he didn't give.

The quote: "I do not think much of gods poorer than myself.".

Context: A spartan citizen's response to being asked for money as part of a collection for the gods.

Although the Spartans worshipped the same gods as other ancient Greeks, they mainly paid tribute to the strongest and coolest gods and goddesses from the Greek pantheon like Apollo (the god of music and truth), Ares (the god of war), and Athena (the goddess of wisdom).

While this was by no means unique in ancient Greek culture and it's noted that most, if not all cities favored certains gods over others, the Spartans are the only people who seemed willing to be outright hostile to certain deities.

For example, it's known that an unnamed Spartan once dunked on a god when a well-meaning citizen of another city asked him to spare a coin for the temple.

The Spartan's response, which has now been enshrined in history, was to derisively mock the very concept of a god needing help from a mortal, presumably before inventing the moonwalk and gliding away while giving the finger.

The quote: "Because her laws are more powerful than I am.".

Context: King Demaratus upon being asked how he, a king, had somehow been exiled from Sparta. Now you'd think given everything we've said about the Spartans so far that they wouldn't exactly be fond of laws.

However, the Spartans were not only huge fans of the law, but believed so strongly in it that even kings bent to its will.

This sentiment is perhaps best summed up by the aforementioned Pausanias, who once said that, "laws ought to have authority over the men, and not the men over the laws.".

Spartans believed so much in the unflinching nature of laws that king Demaratus willingly went into exile rather than attempt to challenge or change them and openly accepted both criticism and admonishment from those he encountered afterward, using himself as an example that even a king had to obey the laws set by his forefathers.

Then again, Demaratus did go and fight for the Persians and served as Xerxes' advisor during the Battle of Thermopylae so even though he thought the Spartan law was more powerful than himself, he clearly didn't think Spartan shields were stronger than Persian cheekbones.

A mistake you'd think as a Spartan he wouldn't have made.

Wizarding Wednesdays Reveals Newt Scamander's Possible Illegal Entry to France in Fantastic Beasts 2 - Duration: 4:21.

Hello.

Welcome back to Fantastic Secrets Behind Fantastic Beasts.

I'm Susan Şipal.

Wizarding Wednesdays has started back with an exciting peek for the upcoming film, and

I've got all the details coming up.

I covered many theories like this in my book, Fantastic Secrets Behind Fantastic Beasts,

and hope you'll check it out.

On September 20th, Fantastic Beasts social media accounts announced the return of Wizarding

Wednesdays to give us behind the scene peeks at what's to come in Fantastic Beasts 2.

While we were all hoping for an exciting announcement last week, we finally got the first one today.

To get the ball rolling early, yesterday it was released on IMDb that Donna Preston would

play a "circus compare" in Fantastic Beasts 2.

I'm guessing that this is some sort of title for her role in the magical circus, which

we've covered quite extensively on this vlog.

My best guess is that this title is being used to say that Donna's circus act is beyond

compare, but maybe it's drawing on another language, possibly giving a French version

of the word.

If you've got ideas for what a "circus compare" is, please post them in the comments.

Whatever she is, the circus seems to be growing in importance!

Even more exciting, Carmen Ejogo is back as Seraphina Picquery!

Ever since it was announced that Kevin Guthrie would return as Abernathy, with hints that

he would be some sort of "head" at MACUSA, I've been wondering if we'd see Madame

Picquery again.

Will she be back because of a power struggle with Abernathy?

Or could she have a more personal conflict with Credence, who she ordered killed?

See my earlier theory on the possibility of Seraphina being Credence's birth mom at

the link above.

Our first peek today was not the title for the second film, which many were hoping for,

but was instead an intriguing document from the Ministry of Magic.

It seems Newt has been denied permission to travel abroad.

I want to point out three key details in this released image.

1) is that the form says application denial in one place, and in a stamp lower down says

"pending."

So, which is it?

2) is that his reasons for travel are "personal."

And 3) is that the explanation of the denial is:

"subject uncooperative and evasive on reasons for last trip."

Hmm.

Here are my thoughts on why the franchise chose this form for their first peek: 1) The

"uncooperative and evasive" seem to hint very strongly that Newt was spying while in

New York, perhaps on Albus Dumbledore's behalf.

As mentioned in a prior video, it seems very possible that Newt was sent to track the Obscurial,

and this evasiveness seems to confirm that possibility.

2) With the current status "pending," will Newt eventually get permission?

Or, will someone in the Ministry, perhaps an Auror close to him, his brother, or his

good friend from New York, have to step in to help?

Or will Newt be forced once again to break the law in whatever agenda he is pursuing?

And 3) What are his "personal" reasons for leaving the country?

I'm guessing it's because he's heard about a certain troubled young man with amazing

powers hiding out in a magical circus abroad.

My best guess is that today's first released peek sets up the initial conflict of the story.

Like before, Newt will be forced to enter France illegally.

While he may have had permission to enter the US in the first film, he broke the law

by bringing a case full of magical beasts into New York.

Here he seems to be forced to break the law again in pursuit of an endangered Credence…which

will be a great way to get the excitement rolling quickly.

What do you think?

Will Newt break the law again to get to Paris?

Or will someone vouch for him?

Please let me know your thoughts in the comments.

Be sure to check back next Wednesday for all the details and theories for whatever our

next peek may be.

And please subscribe for future theories.

Also, don't forget to check out my Fantastic Secrets Behind Fantastic Beasts at Amazon

or your local bookseller.
