I started working for Actual 12 years ago.
When I first started,
I was involved in management control systems
and financial control systems.
As my career progressed,
I noticed more and more opportunities in IT, which was a hobby of mine.
So, I began working in departments more involved with IT,
such as working on data centres and work station management.
Then, five or six years ago,
I started working in the Business Line department,
which manages the company's IT solutions, mostly SAP solutions.
Today, with the integration of Itelis into Actual,
there are now about 35 employees, mostly SAP consultants.
My duties in this new role include
managing the team as best as I can.
I think the integration of Actual into DBA
has created a lot more stability, particularly for the shareholders,
but also in terms of financial capability,
meaning it is able to invest in new solutions,
and able to search for new markets to conquer.
I come from an economics and finance background
but IT has always been a hobby of mine.
So, the fact that my job combines both of these fields,
gives me a lot of satisfaction.
