Youtube daily report Oct 3 2017

I've always loved making movies;

being creative in general.

What really draws me

to film is that,

it's an art that

can contain all other arts

inside of it.

You can use music.

You can use drawings, paintings,

poetry, whatever

and...

it's really just a deep way

of communicating.

You travel with a character

through the story, and you would

sympathize with them.

And in the end you would feel

like them.

So their victories became

your victories in a way.

You felt what they felt

And you're just sitting in

a chair.

I always feel disconnected.

When I was...

probably 6 months, my dad

left my family, went

and got a family of his own.

You know, I always just looked

at myself as just not

as good as everyone else.

School bored me.

So I wanted to

do what I wanted to do.

And I started making movies

around ten.

I was in 5th grade.

And I just - I would do

projects for extra credit.

And this got me through school.

It kind of took off

in the school where...

other kids wanted to do that.

And just...

For this book report,

can I do this...

instead of a diorama?

And I'm not just doing

my project,

I'm jumping in and doing

everyone else's project

for them,

just because I wanted to.

And, like, they didn't mind.

They wanted just to be in

front of the camera.

That's when I got Adobe Premiere

and...

As soon as I got on that

it was just like

when Harry Potter went

to Hogwarts.

It was magic!

It's so complicated, but

there's so much you can do.

And I...

I knew it was going to take me

years, decades even.

And I was like, "Okay."

Let's figure this out.

Let's start!

I had been teaching myself,

like...

shooting my movies,

watching other movies...

"Why don't they look right?"

"Why aren't they the same?"

Like I said:

Film is a combination

of all art.

By the time I got to college,

I started studying other arts.

Film and music are the only

two arts that have

the 4th dimension.

And you have to have

rhythm and tempo

and you have to be conscious

of that.

I took painting classes

to understand color and

the relations colors need

to have, and the effects

they can give you

just subconsciously.

...a lot of philosophy courses

'cause...

The stories and concepts

I want to tell are...

mostly existential.

I want to be thought provoking.

I want, not to make people

think what I want them to think.

I just want them to think.

I don't want to control

people's minds.

I want to stimulate

people's minds.

I want to stimulate

people's emotions...

and their souls...

and their whole being.

And...

in that way connect with them.

Like:

This made me feel alive.

I want you to feel alive

the same way, and...

some way we're connected.

And...

that's my way of like,

connecting with the World.

Density - Duration: 2:51.

In this video we'll be talking about Density.

Density can generally be thought of how heavy an object is for its size and the equation

for density is D=m/v. Since it's m/v, we need to have a mass unit over a volume unit for

our density, which means that the most common units are g/mL and g/cm^3, though g/L is often

used for gases.

In this first problem, it says that "An object has a mass of 1.8 g and a volume of 2.1 cm^3"

and asks for the density.

Since it's asking for density, we can go ahead and list that as a D because that's what we're

solving for, is equal to the mass divided by the volume.

Whenever we actually divide the mass by the volume, we get that the density is equal

to 0.86 g/cm^3.

In our second problem, it says, "If a metal has a known density of 5.71 g/cm^3, what mass

should be measured to get a total volume of 15.1 cm^3?"

So the density is equal to 5.71 g/cm^3 and the volume is equal to 15.1 cm^3.

And we're looking for the mass.

This means that D=m/v and we're going to put in the density which is 5.71 g/cm^3 is equal

to our mass divided by 15.1 cm^3.

Since our mass isn't by itself we're going to have to solve to get it alone.

This means that the easiest way to do this is to multiply by the bottom of our fraction,

and so we're going to multiply both sides by 15.1 cm^3.

Whenever we multiply these two numbers (5.71 and 15.1), that gives us a mass of 86.2 g.

NMS PLANET TYPE PREDICTION CALCULATOR VIA STAR COLOR #NoMansSky - Duration: 2:52.

Howdy folks, today we have just a little video going over a little calculator I've made.

It allows you to narrow down your searches for specific planet types by a huge degree.

All you have to do is type in the galaxy type you are currently in, this being 1 for Balanced

which also happens to be the Default, the 4 Subtypes of Balanced being Imperfect, Parallel,

Improved and Rebuilt if it's any of those just type in 1

If it's a Lush Galaxy also known as Tranquil, Inspiring, Serene or Halcyon then type in

2.

If it's a Vicious galaxy you are in also known as Raging, Ruthless, Relentless or Burning

then type in 3.

And if it's an Abandoned Galaxy also known as Ancestral, Silent, Exhausted or Frozen

type in 4.

That 1 number that relates to the galaxy you are in and therefore want the info about is

all you need to input.

Once you have done so you will see the data below, the second section shows the Predictions,

these are the Star types that are most likely to host that planetary biome type.

As well as this it will show you the chance of life, this chance of life prediction is

based on the basic data from the game, now we don't know how it is specifically calculated,

but with each system type having a different number, the maths on this I've setup takes

into account the Dead and Weird planetary biome type spawn rate and makes a calculation

for the chance of getting a planet capable of supporting life within that system then

take that percentage from the basic life chance number.

After that, it's a simple which number is higher type deal and that gives us our answer.

The other star systems to go to based on the biome criteria is a simple case of getting

the percentage value of 1 from summing up the available biome spawn frequency values

and then once again, seeing which system type has the highest percentage chance.

The Extreme environment one is there but it only concerns the Vicious Galaxy type which

has a higher frequency of extreme environments, all others are just normal.

For those who want it, there is some raw data for the chosen galaxy type in the 2nd section.

Also, Yes, I do understand that a drop-down menu for picking the galaxy type would have

been cleaner and much preferred and it was as that's how I originally built it, but it

appears data validation does not work in browsers on excel spreadsheets so I had to rewrite

half the damn thing.

Oh and a full epicly detailed guide to Spectral Classes is coming your way hopefully tomorrow

I hope you find this simple yet very useful little tool to your liking, if you do, please

hit that like button and share with your fellow travelers, subscribe if you haven't already

and consider checking out my Patreon, a dollar a month is a great way to support the channel.

But above all, have an awesome day folks!

How silly of me, nearly forgot to say, the link to the calculator is in the description

and on screen now, though if you prefer manual you can head to xainesworld.com/nmsplanetcalc/

Las Vegas Shooting Near Mandalay Bay Casino Kills 50|K CHANNEL - Duration: 9:57.

Las Vegas Shooting Near Mandalay Bay Casino Kills 50

LAS VEGAS — A gunman on a high floor of a Las Vegas hotel rained a rapid-fire barrage on a huge outdoor concert festival on Sunday night, killing more than 50 people, injuring hundreds of others, and sending thousands of terrified survivors fleeing for cover, in one of the deadliest mass shootings in American history.

Online video of the attack near the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino showed the singer Jason Aldean performing outside at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, a three-day country music event, interrupted by the sound of automatic gunfire.

The music stopped, and as victims fell, bleeding, concertgoers screamed, ducked for cover, or ran.

"Get down," one shouted.

"Stay down," screamed another.

"Currently the Clark County Fire Department is estimating the injuries to be well over 400" Sheriff Joseph Lombardo of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said on Monday morning.

One of those killed was an off-duty Las Vegas police officer, the department said.

He said there were about 22,000 people at the concert.

SWAT units swarmed the upper floors of the Mandalay Bay, closing in on the source of the shooting, a 32nd-floor room where they found the gunman, with "in excess of 10 rifles," the sheriff said.

"We believe the individual killed himself prior to our entry." The first reports of the shooting came at 10:08 p.m.

local time, and officers overheard on police radio reported being pinned down by gunfire.

Shortly before midnight the Las Vegas police reported that "one suspect is down," and soon after the police said they did not believe there were any more active gunmen.

The sheriff identified the gunman as Stephen Paddock, 64, of Mesquite, Nev., who had no significant prior criminal history.

Before dawn on Monday, Mr Lombardo said the police were executing a search warrant on Mr Paddock's home, adding, "We're going to clear the residence first for any possible explosives, so that will be slow and methodical." Eric Paddock, a brother of Stephen Paddock who lives in Orlando, Fla., told the Orlando Sentinel that he had made a statement to the police.

"We are completely dumbfounded," he said.

"We can't understand what happened." Laith Alkhouri, a senior analyst at Flashpoint Global Partners, a security consulting firm in New York that tracks militant websites, said that he had seen no information yet on whether the suspect acted out of political motivation or grievance, or something else.

President Trump issued a statement on Twitter on Monday extending sympathies to the victims and their families, and was scheduled to address the nation at 10:30 a.m.

Eastern time.

Video of the shooting captured nine seconds of rapid-fire, continuous bursts, followed by 37 seconds of silence from the weapon amid panicked screaming.

The barrage of gunfire then erupted again in at least two more rounds, both shorter than the first.

In the confusion after the shooting, the police also descended on the Ali Baba Restaurant, about a 10-minute drive from the Mandalay Bay, and they also investigated reports of a shooting at the New York-New York Hotel and Casino, not far from the concert ground.

The police reported clearing out the Mandalay Bay's 29th floor and working their way up to the 32nd floor.

A police Twitter post described reports of an "active shooter" near or around the Mandalay Bay casino.

Video from the shooting showed Mr Aldean, the final performer of the night, running off the stage as the gunfire erupted.

Jake Owen, a country singer who was on stage with Mr Aldean when the shooting began, told CNN on Monday that it was like "shooting fish in a barrel from where he was."   "This is not an exaggeration: This shooting was going on for at least 10 minutes," he added.

"It was nonstop." Concertgoers described hearing round after round of gunfire.

"Everyone was running, you could see people getting shot," Gail Davis, one of the witnesses, said.

"I've never been that scared in my life," she added.

"To have this happen, I can't wrap my mind around it." "It just kept coming," one of the witnesses, Robyn Webb, told The Las Vegas Review-Journal.

"It was relentless."   They said they saw about 20 people bleeding in the street.

"That's when we knew for sure it was real," said her companion, Matt Webb.

A photo posted by a Review-Journal photographer showed emergency responders transporting one injured person in a wheelbarrow.

As survivors poured into surrounding streets and buildings, and the police and paramedics streamed into the scene, unsure how many gunmen there were, the massacre shut down roads and highways; the police reported closing off about a mile of Las Vegas Boulevard and asked the public to steer clear of the area.

Hours later, much of the city remained at shut down.

McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas said that some flights destined for the airport were diverted because of police activity.

The airport is just east of the Mandalay hotel, and after the shooting there were reports of people fleeing the concert by running onto an airport runway.

The hotel itself was placed on virtual lockdown after the shooting, guests said.

"We went into the hotel and they started shutting down casinos," Todd Price, a guest of Mandalay Bay, told CNN.

"We tried to get into our rooms, and they shut down the elevators and started to get everybody out." The Route 91 Harvest Festival bills itself as "three days of country music on the Vegas Strip," and Sunday night's performance was the last of the festival.

The site of the concert, the Las Vegas Village and Festival Grounds, run by MGM Resorts, sprawls over 15 acres and has a capacity of 40,000 people.

The festival's website said this year's three-day concert was sold out.

In the first hours after the shooting, the police searched for a woman described as "a companion" of the gunman, Marilou Danley.

Later, the sheriff said she had been located out of the country, and apparently was not with Mr Paddock when he checked into the hotel, but that "he was utilizing some of her identification."    .

GRAPHIC VID: Horror moment man 'gets hit' in Las Vegas shooting

A gunman killed at least 50 people and wounded more than 400 at a country music festival on the Las Vegas Strip on Sunday, raining down rapid fire from the 32nd floor of a hotel for several minutes before he was shot dead by police.

The man – named by police as Stephen Paddock – was killed on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

He is understood to have shot himself before police arrived and was in possession of more than 10 guns at the time.

The death toll now makes the Las Vegas shooting the worst in US history, with more fatalities than the terror attack at Pulse nightclub in Miami, Florida, in 2016, that killed 49 people and wounded 58 others.

Cops were hunting a woman in connection with the shooting.

Paddocks roommate Marilou Danley was believed to have been travelling with the slain gunman but police have since said she was not involved in the shooting.

Horrific footage filmed by a witness at the Route 91 Harvest Festival captured the moment the shooting began as thousands stood watching the gig.

Further video has emerged online showing revellers throwing their bodies to the ground.

The harrowing sound of gunshots ringing out is heard as the panicked crowd scream.

One man says: "Everybody get down" before telling a woman he is with: "Babe, we can't go yet." Seconds later she responds: "Someone got hit.

Who got hit?" The clip cuts out as she screams the name "Austin".

The death toll now makes the Las Vegas shooting the worst in US history, with more fatalities than the terror shooting at Pulse nightclub in Miami, Florida, in 2016, that killed 49 people and wounded 58 others.

Writing on Twitter, a US based reporter said: "FBI source described Vegas to me now as 'a f****** battlefield'." One of those caught up in the nightmare scene was notorious party boy Dan Bilzerian.

The professional poker player splits his time between California and Las Vegas in Nevada, US.

In a panicked video posted to Twitter, he says: "Holy f*** this girl just got shot in the f****** head, so f****** crazy.".

Michael Che Calls Trump Cracker on SNL.

Racist? Michael Che called Donald Trump lots of things on SNL Saturday night, including a bitch, which is all fair game.

but did he cross the line when he called Trump a cracker. Che went off on the Prez during Weekend Update over Trumps handling of the Puerto Rican crisis.  He took aim at Trump and Melania, but then dropped the term that is widely regarded as a derogatory term referring to white people.

Some people think calling someone a cracker is akin to using the n word, but others disagree.

So we gotta ask . .

Who is gunman Stephen Paddock? First pic of Las Vegas shooter behind attack|K CHANNEL - Duration: 6:13.

Who is gunman Stephen Paddock? First pic of Las Vegas shooter behind attack

At least 50 people were killed and over 200 injured last night at the Route 91 country music festival on the Las Vegas Strip.

A gunman rained down rapid fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino for several minutes.

Police confirmed the dead suspect is 64-year-old Paddock – a white man who had no criminal past.

They said he had numerous weapons in his room including machine guns and shotguns.

Police blew the door off his hotel room and found Paddock dead inside – suggesting he killed himself.

He lived in a retirement community in the nearby Nevada city of Mesquite – just an hour's drive to Las Vegas.

He was described as a local man and a lone wolf by Sheriff Joseph Lombardo.

Police launched a hunt for his "roommate", Marilou Danley, who he was staying with at the hotel and have since found her.

There is no sign yet as to why he carried out the mass shooting and at the moment police don't think he had a political motive.

But jihadi death cult ISIS claimed responsibility for the atrocity this afternoon, boasting that Paddock converted to Islam months ago.

And the rampage was reminiscent of a mass shooting at a Paris rock concert in November 2015 that killed 89 people, as part of a coordinated attack by Islamist militants that left 130 dead.

Thousands of panicked people fled the scene last night, in some cases trampling one another as law enforcement officers scrambled to locate and kill the gunman.

Eric Paddock, the shooter's brother, told ABC News that the family was completely "dumbstruck" by the news, likening the revelation to being "crushed by an asteroid." President Donald Trump described the mass shooting as an act of pure evil, adding that he will visit Las Vegas on Wednesday to meet emergency services and the families of victims. .

Shocked concertgoers, some with blood on their clothes, wandered the streets after the attack.

It was the deadliest mass shooting ever in the United States.

The previous one was an ISIS attack which killed 49 people at an Orlando nightclub in June 2016.

We have no idea what his belief system was, Sheriff Lombardo said.

Right now, we believe he was the sole aggressor and the scene is static..

Lombardo said rumours of other shootings or explosives such as car bombs in the area were proven to be false.

Video taken of the attack showed panicked crowds fleeing as sustained rapid gunfire ripped through the area.

Las Vegas casinos, nightclubs and shopping draw some 3.5 million visitors from around the world each year.

Last night the area was packed with visitors when the shooting broke out shortly after 10pm local time.

Mike McGarry, a 53-year-old financial adviser from Philadelphia, said he was at the concert when he heard hundreds of shots ring out.

It was crazy – I laid on top of the kids.

Theyre 20. Im 53.

I lived a good life, McGarry said.

The back of his shirt bore footmarks, after people ran over him in the panicked crowd.

At least one police officer was hospitalised with critical injuries, Lombardo said.

The shooting broke out on the last night of the three-day Route 91 Harvest festival, a sold-out event attended by thousands and featuring top country singers.

The United States has been blighted by a series of deadly mass shootings in recent years.

Prior to Orlando, the deadliest shooting occurred in April 2007 when a gunman killed 32 people at Virginia Tech university.

In December 2012 a man killed 26 young children and teachers at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.

Aussie bloke 'staying in hotel room next to Las Vegas gunman' reveals terrifying moments

The gunman – named by police as Stephen Paddock – killed 58 people and injured 400 more when he unleashed thousands of bullets last night at the Route 91 country music festival on the Las Vegas strip.

Cops confirmed the 64-year-old was dead inside his hotel room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel – suggesting he killed himself.

Paddock, a white male with no criminal history, was described as a "local man" and a "lone wolf" by Sheriff Joseph Lombardo, of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Brian Hodge claims he was staying in room 32134 in the hotel – next door to Paddock.

He told The Age: "There were people screaming and running.

We ran into a nearby hallway and ended up in the casino's kitchen.

"We could just hear bullets being fired and then we could see the bright lights of helicopters flying over the top of us.".

Brian said he saw SWAT teams descent on the hotel, saying: "They were in the full police gear and we could see torches and guns and they were yelling at everybody to 'stay down' or 'put their hands up'.

" He added that he was glad he hadn't made it back to his room.

Meanwhile, ISIS claims it was behind massacre despite cops confirming there are currently no links to terror.

US President Donald Trump described the shooting as "terrible" and said his sympathies are with those affected. .
