The problem, I don't only have this microphone
in this helmet (the same type)
it's also in my Schubert C3 helmet
and because of the opening and closing
or because it's ageing the foam rubber becomes tired (porous)
and the small bumps the actually hold the foam rubber
in place,
can then no longer hold the foam rubber together
and then it falls off automatically,
which happened a few days ago with my Schubert.
Annoying!
Therefore - replacement!
I looked long for this helmet,
unfortunately there is nothing to buy.
And so I'm just testing,
how it works with the self-made protection.
Does it work with this foam?
Yes, of course you get the tip
how you can do that.
Yes, but in principle you get foam everywhere,
mostly in craft shops or somewhere else,
or you just take a foam rubber
which is seat base
and then you can cut a piece off.
Outside you have to cut the corners,
so that it is not angular anymore
and make a small hole in it
and put it on the microphone.
This is exactly what I've done,
you have to look then of course
whether if the holes or the structure
works as a windshield.
This is the point.

whether I have a suitable windshield or not.
