Welcome back for day three of my 31 days of Halloween series.
For today's look, I bring you the magnificent,
all-seeing and all-knowing fortune teller...
Belladonna.
Product details and all that fun stuff will be in the video description below.
Let's get started.
Hey guys!
I'm kind of making this one up as I go, so bear with me.
I decided to first prime my face before mixing two
before mixing two foundations together
to get an even paler skin tone.
I buff that all out well, before taking my concealer
and applying that under my eyes.
Coffee break! Nectar of the Gods.
And, of course, I set my foundation with a translucent powder.
I decided I wanted a very contoured look
so I mixed a light and dark contour colour.
Whatta failure...
You can do it! You can do it!
Perfect.
I applied the contour to all the places I normally would,
like my cheekbones, under my chin, jawline, temples -
but with a very heavy hand.
To deepen that contour even more I'm taking one of the medium gray shadows
from the Kat Von D Shade & Light palette and applying that to my
cheekbones as well as using it as a nose contour
I don't know why I like to do this so much but I'm also taking a contour
below my lip.
Next, taking a brow palette by BH Cosmetics, I'm coming through my brows
and defining them with a darker brown shade.
Now for the lips
I'm just taking a dark plum lip liner
but I'm only applying that to the centre of my lip,
down the middle and along the top and bottom of my lips. then I decided to take
Then I decided to take a plum lipstick
and lightly dab that onto my lips
before taking a black lipstick, adding that to the outer corners
and the centre.
I've decided to mix both a red and a purple eyeshadow together
and create a sort of halo eye effect.
I'm a sucker for those, what can I say...
To do this, you're gonna want to take a dense eyeshadow brush
you're gonna want to apply that to the outer and inner corners of your eyes,
leaving the centre of your lid free of any dark shadow.
Then you can also bring that red/purple shadow underneath your
eye as well - blend that out.
my voice sounds like a frog...
Taking a black shadow by Kat Von D,
I'm adding that to the outer and inner corners
of my eyes and diffusing that.
For this next step, you can use any shimmery pigment
you want - I'm doing with one by Annabelle.
I'm applying that to the center of my
lid, as well as my cupid's bow.
Then I'm taking a black shadow from the eyebrow palette
we used earlier,
I'm then smoking that into my inner corners.
Lookin' good...
Taking that same black shadow on a really thin paintbrush,
I'm creating sort of smoky ribbon effects...
Yeah...that's what we're gonna call it -
Smoky ribbons.
So you can create your smoky ribbons however you may like.
I decided to have them coming out the outer corner of my eye.
So what I'm basically doing is drawing a really thin delicate squiggle...
All these technical terms - smoky ribbons, squiggles...
and I'm adding shadow to some of them to create a more 3D effect. then I'm making
Then I'm making some more squiggles on my lid in my inner corner.
The next step would be to add a highlight to your squiggles,
so I'm just
using a white body paint to do so, and only applying it in certain areas.
I feel like less is more with this highlight.
Took a break from the eyes and decided
to highlight the high points of my face
before taking a liquid shimmer...?
Sure...that's what we're gonna call it...
and applying that to my inner tear duct area.
I also decided to add a quick highlight to my lips,
before going back to the eyes
and adding beautiful crystals everywhere, both silver and black.
These rhinestones from the dollarstore have an adhesive back to them; however,
sometimes they don't stick very well.
You can always use some eyelash glue to take care of that.
I'm then taking a gold body paint and creating another highlight for
the smoky ribbons.
Make sure you line your eyes with black liner,
before slapping on some mascara.
I also decided to put some liquid lipstick in my waterline, but you guys can totally
pack on red eyeshadow in there instead.
Then I threw on some dramatic lashes,
and put of the rest of my outfit,
and there you have it -
you've become Belladonna...
See you guys tomorrow...
