Lucasfilm released a new last Jedi behind-the-scenes video that offered

plenty of new footage with this photo of Luke Skywalker

Mark Hamill may also get fans talking since it shows a number of ancient tomes

that could be Luke's journal of the Wills while director Rian Johnson

wouldn't confirm any details about the books he did have this to say about how

fans will fully realize why Luke went into exile as this story unfolds it

would be funny if you zoom in on that bookshelf and it's all Robert Ludlum

thrillers so when you see it in totality you're like oh okay this is why the

It�s a new day in Washington, D.C. after Donald J. Trump defied the odds and beat the

political establishment of both parties, but unfortunately, the federal bureaucracy lives

on and until he has more time to cut it down to size, it will continue to make lives more

difficult � and dangerous � for Americans.

One group of regulators that is particularly loathsome are those who deal with food safety,

notes Natural News founder/editor Mike Adams, the Health Ranger. In a recent podcast, he

asks if you�ve ever wondered why toxic food additives and ingredients that are banned

in many other countries around the world are still legal in foods sold across the USA,

or why GMOs aren�t allowed to be labeled in America, keeping consumers in the dark

about what they�re eating?

�The answer is that U.S. government regulators have been deeply corrupted by industry influence.

They now operate solely to protect the interests of food and agriculture industries by keeping

consumers ignorant of all the toxic poisons and GMOs they�re eating,� Adams says.

The Health Ranger noted that many substances like GMOs and pesticides are being banned

by other countries but not the United States, because our government �is so incredibly

corrupt� (as we�ve seen once more in recent days with new revelations about how Russian

officials bribed Hillary Clinton and her husband to get 20 percent of U.S.-held uranium � and

the FBI knew about it but did nothing).

Adams says Americans are currently living under a system of �food fascism� because

the government is so beholden to many big corporations and together they have formed

a totalitarian partnership that beats down competition while enforcing corporate- and

big government-friendly rules, even to the detriment of We the People.

�When you have big corporations write the regulatory rules, you have fascism,� he

said. �When government exists to protect the interests of the corporations while betraying

the interests of the people, you have fascism.�

And the problem is particularly inherent in the American food industry, where corporate

control over the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture

(USDA) is pervasive.

�Think about it,� he said. �Why in any sane society would we not label GMOs? Why

would we not want the consumer to have more information that they can use to make an informed

decision about what they wish to eat?

And yet, every legitimate effort � by states, by advocacy groups, by organic growers � to

force the government to mandate GMO labeling has gone down in defeat or is being litigated

While the issue hasn�t yet come up during the Trump administration, President Obama

� who claimed in 2008 during his first presidential campaign to support GMO labeling � signed

federal legislation in August 2016 preempting states from requiring food labeling to contain

That law, Adams said, signifies to Americans that they don�t really have a right to know

what�s in their food.

�Of course, America is the headquarters of Monsanto and the biotech industry, which

of course have their financial tentacles into academia, the media� and government.

Adams noted that Trump is pro-organic and doesn�t need GMO corporate America�s money,

making him the most likely president to push for new legislation that would require food

makers to fully inform Americans about what�s in their food.

�It�s no coincidence that the people who used to argue that smoking cigarettes was

safe are now arguing that GMOs are safe,� Adams said, alluding to the similarities between

how the tobacco and GMO industries are using similar public relations tactics to keep people

in the dark about the dangers of

'This Is Us' Star Mandy Moore Promises Jack's Fate Is Worth the Wait

This Is Us spoilers have given viewers plenty of information about the show, but just about everyone has been wondering one thing and one thing only since the show began: How does Jack Pearson die?.

On Tuesday night, the fifth episode of Season 2 is set to air on NBC.

So far this season, fans of the show have received quite a few hints about Jack's death, but there have not been any definitive answers about what exactly happened to him.

Actress Mandy Moore, who plays the role of Jack's wife, Rebecca, gave away a couple of small tidbits in a recent Facebook Live session.

Moore talked to fans on the social media platform last Wednesday, answering some questions and giving a backstage tour of the lot and the set of the popular show.

Several people asked Moore about Jack's death, trying to find any kind of information that they possibly could — and hoping that Moore would spill the beans.

While Moore did her best to keep the show's biggest secret under wraps, she did talk about the upcoming episodes and shared that fan's will learn Jack's fate soon.

"You guys! Didn't we give you enough of a morsel to sort of hang on to in that first episode? Just be patient, because, I'm telling you, the next, my goodness, five or six episodes … unbelievable.

And I'm telling you, your patience will pay off.

There is (sic) just so many twists and turns — and not in a manipulative way — in a completely organic, grounded, just fascinating fashion.

I think everyone is going to be really satisfied with what we learn about certain characters," Moore said, adding that the cast just finished filming the first half of Season 2.

This Is Us will continue on for five more episodes after Tuesday night, before taking its winter hiatus.

The show is slated to return in January 2018, when the remaining eight episodes of Season 2 will air.

And, for those wondering if Jack's death will play out in Season 2, wonder no more.

There won't be a Season 2 finale cliffhanger, according to the show's creator.

"I think that it's fair to say you're not going to learn everything about Jack's death next week, but you're not going to wait until the season finale, either.

It'll be somewhere in between," Dan Fogelman told Entertainment Weekly last month.

Turning our focus to China.

The nation's biggest political event wrapped up by elevating Xi Jinping to the level of

its first communist leader.

According to our Kim Mok-yeon, the president's political thought... on Beijing's supposed

new era... will now be taught as official party doctrine.

As its national Congress closed on Tuesday, the Communist Party of China amended its constitution

to enshrine President Xi's political ideas.

Putting President Xi Jinping's name into the constitution means that anyone who challenges

him could now be seen as a threat to Communist Party rule.

It also cements Xi's power ahead of a second five-year term and could give him added impetus

to dictate the country's direction for the years that follow.

(Chinese) "We have just held the first plenary session

of the 19th CPC Central Committee and elected a new central leadership.

I was re-elected general secretary of the CPC Central Committee.

I see this as not just approval of my work, but also encouragement that will spur me on."

The constitutional change has put President Xi on par with Mao Zedong, who founded modern

China in 1949, and Deng Xiaoping, who oversaw China's opening up to the world.

The slogan "Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era"

is the party's way of saying that this is the third chapter of Communist China which

highlights the leadership's role in party discipline, putting people at the center of

policies, and deepening reforms to the rule of law.

On Wednesday, President Xi also announced the committee's incoming members who will

work alongside him and Premier Li Keqiang for the next five years.

In order of seniority, they are Li Zhanshu , the director of the Communist Party's Central

General Office,...

Vice-Premier Wang Yang ,... President Xi's policy adviser Wang Huning ,... head of the

Communist Party's Organization Department Zhao Leji ,... and Shanghai Party Secretary

Han Zheng . Regarding China's future policies toward South

Korea, pundits say with the new top decision making body, there could be possibilities

for a brighter future in Seoul-Beijing relations.

(KOREAN) "During the party's national congress period,

China has been stressing the importance of cooperation in pursuing improved international

relations.

So I think Seoul should deal with the current problems with China by holding thorough discussions

on how to make both sides benefit without hurting either sides' national interest."

The new-look committee is expected to hold its first general meeting on Thursday and

discuss the new leadership's major tasks.

They will also begin personnel changes across various departments before the National People's

Congress, set for March next year.
