I'm gonna be giving a video about three tips from a million dollar Amazon
Seller and if you did not who that seller was it is me now
You're probably looking at myself right now. Like wow, what is this kid talking about? He's so young
Why am I gonna listen to him and it's actually really funny
I have a lot of successful students who have learned from how to created great Amazon businesses and
One of the first things I actually hear from people that are typically older on the means headbow
you know to be very honest with you when I first saw your videos, I
Was like what is this kid? they keep saying the word kid talking about now
this is gonna bring up the point before I give you this video is
In today's economy. We have a lot of online businesses and was selling on Amazon
I wouldn't say it's a like computer
You don't have to be computer savvy but many kids like myself who've grown up with the internet and doing things online
Understand this a lot better than I guess people that didn't grow with technology with me. I grew up with technology and I literally
Spent the last 10 years of selling products online. So I really grew up with this. So would you rather learn from somebody who is
Whatever I guess old
50-plus years old and knows business or someone that has been selling online for the past 10 years and knows what they're doing
So now let me get right into the three tips from a million dollar seller
And yes, the sellers myself now. The reason I'm actually making this video is I just had dinner with
These people and they're called the million dollar seller group and it's actually kind of funny
You're actually not supposed to like being the group
I guess if you have a youtube channel and stuff on those lines
like they don't like people who kind of teach people I guess but the only reason why I was able to be in there is
Because I actually had a student who joined the million dollar seller group and he wasn't in the group before my course
He took my course and he grew his business and he joined the million dollar seller group
Which people have to pay to get into it's just kind of a thing
But you do have to do over a million dollars in sales. So every single person at that dinner table
did over a million dollars in sales and I'll actually
Talking about it's kind of a little bit about that dinner
I had with those guys and
Really kind of give you some insight on with those people because a lot of them are actually private label sellers
Which if you don't know what that is yet?
You'll kind of find out later, but let me get right into these three tips. And the first thing is
Set expectations higher than you think but be patient at the same time. I think the biggest problem I would say most people have with
Starting a business who've never started business before especially online
Businesses like selling on Amazon is they don't understand the roof the ceiling they are capping themself at a point where?
They are not putting their self higher expectations. They're actually limiting themselves
But at the same time would also notice that people
Think they can get a lot more done in a short amount of period of time
But they actually under it underestimate their self in a long term. I th ink the main reason for this is
If someone's starting a business rights, I call it selling on Amazon. They start to watch youtube videos. They start to learn so much and
They get to the point
They're like, oh wow. I'm gonna start something on Amazon now because if they have the fear of like missing out,
So then they start to learn a bunch of they feel like since they've learned so much that they're already up to here
They're already far off into their business and already doing well, but they haven't started yet. So they think that okay
I've just gained four years of information in just a couple months. I should be doing very very well and be making
$10,000 per month very soon and it doesn't work like that. There's not a get-rich-quick scheme because this is a real business
so
Underestimate what you can do the long term, but you're most likely going to overestimate what you can do in a short term
so be patient and understand that selling on Amazon is a real business a lot of people kind of forget that
There's no such thing as overnight successes. You can take example for myself, right? Yeah
I'm doing very well on Amazon and some people could say that
Oh, they've only seen me the last whatever months on YouTube and call myself an overnight success, but they don't realize that okay
Yeah
I didn't have much of a social life and some grades in high school and was doing like
Very productive stuff in middle school and really started early. So yeah, my overnight success took ten years
So I understand that as well. Second tip is buy low sell high
Selling on Amazon through this specific business all I do
what I call online retail is actually quite simple and most people really
overcomplicated and this is gonna lead to the talk that I had with the
million dollar seller group people where every single person at the dinner table done over Mohmand dollars on Amazon and
Me and the student my student that is taking my course
we do the Business model called online retail and the other people the table they were actually a private label sellers which
Yes, obviously you can tell I was at a dinner with private label sellers that are making a lot of money you can make money
With private label, but honestly after sitting down with him at dinner, I was like, yeah
I'm glad I've never gotten a private label because the things that they do
the black hat tricks, they go into the things that they would do to stop smaller sellers is absolutely crazy and
They pretty much like told me like yeah, I mean you can have success with private label
But there's a lot of categories where you have to be hard and mean and do all these crazy stuff to even have success
So when I was listening to them, I was like, yeah
I don't think anyone should really start from scratch with private label
unless you are just an expert at branding and marketing have a lot of
Budgets and really have done this whole Amazon thing for the last several years
So that's why I guess between the second tip about buying low and selling high
so specifically how I make money on Amazon is I buy products from
Suppliers, so people who are wholesalers distributors I buy low in bulk
So I'm having to buy it in the toilet front and then I sell higher individually
the main reason we really want to do this is because this is actually
Sales happen on Amazon and the least amount of sellers and that's really about it
So the third tip is going to be learning first
The worst thing you could do in your Amazon business is lose money
And since this is a real business, it's not a get-rich-quick scheme
You're not just pressing a couple buttons and make money. You can make real mistakes when I first started selling on Amazon
I've made a good amount mistakes and I lost money with it today
I don't I only make money off that I mean obviously yeah
I could still make a mistake today by making way way less than I ever would
Because I know that information I know today and the biggest thing with this you want to learn first is because you want to build
Confidence at the end of the day. This is a simple business
You're buying low and selling higher
How many YouTube videos do I need to make to explain to you that you just need to buy some stuff and sell it?
It's not a complicated business
however
you need to build confidence with it because let me be honest with you if you knew how to take a ten dollar bill and
Turn it into 15 dollars. Would you need any motivational or inspirational speaks at all?
No, you wouldn't need any motivation or any inspiration
You would just go do it you try to find as many 10 dollar bills as possible so you can turn into 15
So that's all I have to say with this video. First tip is set your expectations higher
But be patient at the same time
Second thing is buy low sell high and the third thing is learn first
