Got My New Equipment | Parkour Journey - Episode 1 - Duration: 4:50.

Let's try that again

Ok so apparently the camera didn't record everything. So I'm doing it again...

So, let's start off with a speed vault

mmm, this side is too tall, im gonna go from the other side.

I hope the other guy left...

(nailed it ;P)

Gotta put my bag down, can't do much with it on me.

Ok so now, im gonna do a Kong Vault. And on second thought Ill do it over there.

(Nailed it once more, heh.)

But in all honesty, with practicing and Sh#t, ill be able to do much more.

So before I did a safety roll, but right now I'm not feeling it...too cold..

Although what we can do, are some precision jumps!

OK THATS EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO (nearly fell backwards)

Let's try again...

heh, piece of cake..

But that's not a viable option.

At least not yet..

Okay, that's enough for now. thanks for watching!

Comparing Block Assurance Times for various cryptocurrencies - Duration: 9:37.

welcome everyone so today I wanted to talk about the recent paper that IOHK

released Sebastien put it on his twitter and the title of the paper is comparison

of block expectation time for various consensus algorithms and i wanted to

talk about this paper in terms of proof of work versus proof of stake so the

proof of work community proof of work is something like Bitcoin or Ethereum

Ethereum is going to move to proof of stake eventually but it right now it's a

proof of work coin and proof of stake is something like Cardano the proof of work

community often argues that proof of work is more secure than proof of stake

and this has been proven to be untrue Ouroboros is just as provably

secure as a proof of work system and this paper actually leads me to

believe that it may be actually more secure than a proof of work system

because the time it takes to confirm transactions is a lot quicker than in

the Bitcoin network or in the Ethereum Network so this paper compared Bitcoin,

Ethereum, and Cardano so they could they compared Ouroboros

which is cardano's protocol they compared GHOST which is Ethereums

protocol and they compared bitcoins protocol one of the

things that I thought was very interesting with this paper was this

idea of block confirmation times for users to get assurance that their

transactions will not be reverted so there's this whole issue in

cryptocurrency called the double spend problem so basically it means that you

are sending coins through the same address or you're spending the same money

twice so for example if you go to a car dealership and you purchase a car and

you're sitting with the dealer and they're like send me your Bitcoin to

this address and then the car is yours but you have to wait for the

confirmation to be 99.9% clear as a car salesman in order for that transaction

to go through without you feeling like you've got shorted so the person

if they double spent the transactions within the network

basically what that means is both transactions would appear in that

block but eventually when it's time to solve that block it would be kicked out

both transactions would be kicked out they would be discarded because you

cannot double spend you cannot spend the same money within the network so how do

cryptocurrencies combat this problem they wait for confirmation times so this

paper analyzed the amount of time that you would have to wait to be 99.9% sure

that the transaction would not be reverted so here's where we have an

issue so for example in the Bitcoin network it's advised that you

wait six blocks before you're 99.9% sure that the transaction will not be

reverted and six blocks is 60 minutes because each block in Bitcoin is around

ten minutes and there's around twelve point five seconds I believe of latency

times so that's the block regeneration time after that ten minute period

is completed so just about an hour the the best estimates even under a hyper

improved Bitcoin they think that they can probably bring it down to around thirty

minutes for a confirmation time and that's some that's a serious issue

because for example you can double spend in Bitcoin if you control if you do a

51% attack you can double spend in Bitcoin and that would entail

controlling 51% of the hash power that Bitcoin has to offer and we're going to go

over that later but for Ethereum their GHOST protocol they say that you

have to wait around 30 minutes to be 99.9% sure that this transaction is

not going to be reverted and under Ouroboros the most the maximum amount of

time that you would have to wait is around five minutes and there's another

paper that says in this paper it says it's actually down to 3.6 minutes so you

have to wait less than 4 minutes for the transaction to be confirmed I mean the

transactions confirmed immediately as you can see when you send when you send

ADA to someone else or when you send it to your Daedalus wallet you see

low, medium, high transaction assurance and basically it starts off low then it

goes to medium then it goes to high by the time it hits four minutes by the

time it hits three and a half minutes what we have is we have a very provably

secure transaction so think about going to that same car dealer or

making a large ticket purchase where a double spent attack could highly benefit

the user in that situation and saying oh you know you're purchasing a car that's

I don't know worth $50,000 I only have to wait three four minutes for the money

to go through if it's Bitcoin we're going to have to wait an hour what if

the network is clogged as well you're gonna have to wait even

longer than that you made your transactions may not even fit into that

block because there may be so many unconfirmed transactions that it takes a

long time so in the effort of speeding up transactions for goods

products and services you're going to want to stick with the provably secure

protocol that allows you to verify with 99.9% accuracy that the

transactions that you place on this protocol or that you

place on this blockchain are correct so moving forward I also printed out the

proof of work 51% attack cost so this is how much you would need to basically

attack the proof of work network and create this double spend problem and

right now according to the market caps right now Bitcoin market cap is around

64.44 billion but it has to deal less with market cap as

it has to deal with hash rates so that's the amount of mining machines that are

being used to attack the network so to attack the network for one hour Bitcoin

network you would need two hundred eighty one thousand five hundred and

twenty four dollars so people often ask the question is it even worth it to

double spend no it may not be worth it to double spend on Bitcoin because the

attack cost is so high but there are things in life that are worth more than

two hundred eighty one thousand five hundred and twenty four dollars and

certain transactions could benefit the user or benefit the attacker if they

actually attack the network and did this double spend issue and then

walked away with I don't know half a million dollars or a million dollars or

ten million dollars or a billion dollars you never know but it can be attacked

Ethereum the attack cost is eighty five thousand five hundred and eighty six

dollars you have to remember that as the Bitcoin price goes down more and more

people are turning off their ASIC mining machines and that's going to decrease

the amount of money that it takes to attack and this happens cyclically I'm

not saying that bitcoin is going anywhere bitcoin is here to stay

but at the end of the day this is a bear market so it's likely what if the price

cuts by half again what if the Bitcoin hits like two thousand or goes under two

thousand dollars more and more people are going to turn off their ASIC mining

machines and that's going to decrease the amount that you need to

attack the network and when Bitcoin skyrockets again of course it's going to be

very robust and strong but then it's going to fall back again it's very cyclical

so when it falls again there's gonna be a higher entry point to attack the

network Bitcoin Cash takes around nine thousand dollars to attack Litecoin

eighteen thousand five hundred sixty five dollars Monero five thousand

one hundred and forty nine dollars Dash seven thousand six hundred ninety eight

so if you have if you're going in and you're purchasing with Monero and you

go in to a car dealer and you buy a hundred thousand dollar car and we don't

know the confirmation time of Monero but the attack costs you could double spend

it's only five thousand dollars so what if you walked out with two hundred fifty

thousand dollar car or you walked out with something else there are issues there

Z Cash around 12 thousand dollars Bitcoin Gold $890 Bytecoin $188 Siacoin

$0 Electroneum $2000 Monacoin five hundred forty dollars when you go

down to like Bitcoin Private 28 dollars Quantum Resistance Ledger eight dollars

eight dollars to one hour attack cost the cost it would take to attack

the network for one hour eight dollars litecoin cash $49 Z

classic 333 dollars very small amounts so these other coins

basically if people are accepting them at retailers and they're selling large

ticket items you have an issue because you can attack the network pretty easily

Bitcoin is secure I wouldn't say that you can attack Bitcoin easily although

it can be done and it could be profitable in certain situations but you

don't want to be a what-if or could be you want to guarantee you want a 99.9

percent accuracy and with Cardano with Ouroboros

it's going to give you that 99.9% accuracy in under four minutes with

Bitcoin it's gonna give that to you in at least 60 minutes and with Ethereum

it's going to give you that in at least 30 minutes we're talking about financial

institutions governments that are waiting here

we need 99.9 percent accuracy as quick as possible so let me know your thoughts

let me know your concerns please like comment and subscribe and until the next

video thank you

ILLUSTRATION USING 'ALMOST' ONLY ONE MARKER?! *cough, cough - Duration: 15:03.

So this is my Copic marker collection and I love it very dearly - I think it has

a very good mix of colors (if you want to look at it, there it is)

whenever I sit down to draw

something I feel like I have all the colors that I need and I haven't felt

myself wanting any other ones and today I might feel a little different about

that because I'm going to be only using one of them at random - here goes!

hey guys! welcome back!

before sitting down to draw I picked out my marker closing my

eyes and I got Jasper or BG 57

I started drawing with a good old pencil

I haven't

drawn in a couple days and I like to keep things simple and not scare myself

into an art block because if you have been drawing as long as I have, you kind of

notice when things happen and what things cause those things that happen so

for me when I have very high expectations for myself and I can't meet

those expectations it's not a good time and that's kind of when I start feeling

insecure about my art so I decided to go in this very simple and one of my

favorite things to do when it comes to being simple is to try and use only one

marker and I'm still feeling that holiday spirit even though New Year's

has already passed so I wanted to draw something fun like

holiday dress I thought maybe I don't know I mean she's looks a little old to

be wearing this sort of dress but hey in my little 2d illustrative world/universe

place no one makes fun of anyone for dumb things so I think she'll get on

just fine - I do have to make a little confession though while I was drawing

this drawing thing of an illustration-y/drawing thing I wasn't really thinking

about what color that I was gonna have to use when it came down to it even

though it was sitting right there -

I kind of just you know drew which

happens when you haven't drawn in a while I mean at least it does for me

because I've noticed if I don't draw in a while I lose that kind of urge to like

sit down and draw I kind of just sort of float through life without art but-but

once I like force myself to actually sit down or like I accidentally sit down

next to a pencil or something the art just sort of starts coming you know and

I I'm not saying it's good art it's just it just starts flowing like you know

someone made a weird semi-realistic cartoon girls with poor

fashion-sense shaped-hole in the size of the Hoover Dam and, you know, ''WOOSH! the

drawings just pour out - (i dunno)- I really hope that that means that like art and me are kind

of in it for the long haul because I mean it'd be really depressing if like

me from the future just like dropped out of a wormhole one day and like landed on

her feet majestically like a cat and just told me : "Rin, on the 23rd of

January that was the last day that you ever drew a draw" and then I'm like "What?"

just like having a heart attack (I mean mostly because I'm just meeting myself

from the future) but like oh my gosh what a life if I can't draw like whats

the point? - did anyone else picture when I fall out of the wormhole in the

future that I'm wearing an eye patch? some reason I picture myself with an eye

patch I mean but then I'd have no depth perception, would I? but at least I'd

look kinda cool - i dunno - heh... -

anyway the point is don't be super depressed if you

just don't sort of feel like drawing I mean that doesn't make you a terrible

artist we go through those high points and low points and there's gonna

be moments where you don't really feel like doing it that's that's okay I get

them too I don't think that automatically means

that like art isn't meant for you because I've never experienced anything

in life that I could just enjoy endlessly cuz like by the 11th cookie

you're kind of like "ehhh, that was maybe like one too many cookies" yeah oh here so once

I was finished sketching I erased everything just so slightly with my

kneaded eraser that way you know it's mostly erased but I can still see it so

I know where to put the ink for the line art and then I began adding these lineart

um I decided to play around with the line art this go-around because I was

going into this thinking oh I'm only gonna be using one marker so I need to

really take advantage of the fact that I'm going to be using line art and add

to the illustration in some way so I decided to use both the brush tip and a

point three fine liner and brush pen I guess and I'm going to add the line art

with the 03 and then use the brush pen to fill in the larger areas so

I'm actually filling in a lot of sections

sort of using it as a second marker if you've ever done the one marker

challenge before you'll realize that it's a very good exercise in separating

your colors and adding contrast between colors that are right next to each other

like the skin and the shirt or the shirt and the skirt so (hey, that's kind of funny) um

so what I'm doing with the line art is I'm actually again adding just another

tone to everything because the line art is darker than Jasper and Jasper is

darker than the white paper so now I kind of have three tones to work with

and I can separate those out and put them together as I need to - when I was

originally drawing this I kind of pictured the skirt being the black

section but when I took a step back and looked at the drawing I realized that

the way the character was laid out and everything that using the lineart to fill

in the shirt section would give me a lot more to work with because then I can add

that blue color for the hair and for the skirt and they won't overlap each other

do you see what that would mean? I mean once I'm finished drawing you'll see the

way I laid out the colors but because of the line art in this shirt I can do what

I just said hehehe

but if I had colored the shirt section blue then I would be I'd

have to color like the hair black or leave the skirt white and I'm limited a

little bit more in that way and I wanted to add the hair blue and this skirt blue

because this is the one marker challenge and I wanted to use as much blue as

possible and by coloring in the shirt I was able to do that - I messed up with the

face because I mean I've kind of got this ruining a face every time I draw

traditionally streak going and I didn't really feel like breaking it today so

yay

okay so Once I did line art um I basically you know just did

line art the way you do lineart you just kind of trace what you drew so there's

not much to say about so yeah there's the line art I'm practicing cleaning up

line art that I've drawn traditionally digitally so I'll have the line art of

this available if you'd like to color it yourself - last time I did a one marker

challenge I did this and it was so cool seeing you guys try it out yourself with

your own colors and your own markers and like so there's all these different

colors and it was like a rainbow of awesome so

if you want to color that I will have a link in the description - but now that the

lineart is done I can go in with my Jasper and start to color it

this is probably a

big no-no and like the first thing you learn on your first day of marker school

but I literally just dabbed the colorless blender onto the marker to

grab the color um - oh my gosh was that lightning? are the marker gods coming for

me?! no? okay --- I guess I'll live, anyway I don't

do this a lot because I own pastel markers so there's never a need for me

to do this so I actually basically never use my

colorless blender ever and this is like one of the first times but I realize it

works really well if I just blob it on to the Jasper color and then I take that

straight to the paper and I just blob on like the nose and the cheeks and adds it

like a little bit of blush and this worked really really well I had a lot

more later because I really didn't know what the heck I was doing she says in

every single video but I figure it out a little bit later on so it'll look better

then so stay tuned but after that I just started using the straight brush tip and

color didn't like the lips and added a little bit of eyeshadow and I colored in

the ribbon and like any of the darkest areas of the illustration like

underneath the skirt and then for the actual skirt I wanted to give it a

little bit more texture and almost a gradient so I started at the bottom and

like did light brushstrokes upwards lifting up the pen as I went so that it

would get lighter and softer as it went up because I wanted the top of the skirt

to be lighter than the bottom of the skirt and then once I've done that I

used like a colorless blender to try and help blend that out even more and make

it smoother and gradient up to a lighter color and I did that throughout the

whole skirt for the first part of it I did it in that very front section that

you see, and I did it really really dark and then when it came to doing the rest of

the skirt I realized that I had done that part too dark so I had to kind of

go over the rest of the skirt and tried to make it matchy-matchy and then I

wanted to add even more texture so I just added dark polka dots all

over it not entirely sure what I was thinking it just sort of happened

then I also colored in like the bracelets and then I moved on to the hair again I started

with the section that I wanted to be the darker so that I could do multiple

layers and this is like the hair that's behind her neck so it's going to get a

lot less light back there so I'm coloring in that first

and then I'm trying to add shine to the random hair that she's holding (can I just

mentioned that that looks really weird) I completely-I know... it just looks kind of

like she's holding goop...I had in my mind she's like playing with their hair "mmm

so cute" but I mean that looks just weird anyway but I'm trying to add shine to

the weird stuff and I think it worked really well what I did was at first I

tried to use that same strokes with lifting it like I did with the skirt to

kind of get that soft look but I realized I liked it a lot better when it

has like a hard edge to the shine I think it just looks a lot cooler and

it's more of what I'm going for so I started actually drawing with the marker

from the shine and moving up and then going underneath the shine and putting

the marker straight down and then pulling away from the shine if that

makes any sense and that's how I get that hard edge and I like it a lot

better but then for one of the shine's (the one like right behind her ear there)

I did use that sort of soft feathering technique and some reason I like it

there but it didn't like it in other places I think it's because that part of

the hair isn't jetting out in any way it's much-like just falling

there softly and gently so a nice soft and gentle shine makes more sense

whereas the other parts where I added the shine the hair is you know curved in

some way a little bit more exaggerated and I like it better to be harsh shine

there - at least that's my thoughts - I went over the hair a lot this was kind of I

thought an important part of the drawing so I kind of wanted to make it look good

and then um I mean (you could be the judge of that) haha

but then I moved on to these little shinies that I was trying to help with

the composition of the drawing cuz like I said when I was drawing Rapunzel for

the year of 2019 I kind of want to practice composition and really making

my drawings sort of look like some effort was put into the layout of the

character and like the elements of the drawing so I decided to add those shiny

things that kind of help create like a swish sort of to the drawing it's even

more swishy at the end if you stay tuned but I colored the outside of the little

shines and then tried to blend out because I wanted to shine to be white

and then the outside of them to be giving off like

blue, like the Jasper color - um I don't know if it worked but I I'm trying

something new and then I felt like there was just a lot of white space at the top

and I really liked how at the bottom I had done with the line art that black

border so I thought it'd be kind of interesting and contrasty to add a

Jasper colored border at the top and leave the sides opened and once I had

done that I really liked that I think it just added like an extra sort of

something I'm not saying it's cooler not saying it's worse it's just sort of

like you know 'there' but I like it and I think it adds some weight up at the top

of the drawing because the bottom was very heavy and I-I kind of like it that

way then I went in and added some more depth to the hair because I have to wait

for those layers to dry and then I can add another layer and they get darker so

that's what I did behind her head again then I went in with a white gel pen and

added some like shimmers here and there like to the skirt and the tights and the

ribbon around her waist just trying to add a little bit more...

interest to the piece and this is when I realized I wanted the blush tones on

like her nose and her cheek and her ears to be a lot darker and more noticeable

so I'm going in with another layer of that again I kind of just blob it down

darkly and then try to blend the 'bejeebies' out of it that's how I'm going

about it - I for some places I like put down a little bit too much marker and

then it takes a little bit longer to blend out or sometimes there's sections

that don't really blend as well as others I don't really understand how

that works quite yet I think it just comes to - letting it dry a little bit

too much before you go in with the colorless blender but I was able to get

fixed like the knuckles which was a goal of mine because I thought I'd put a

little too much down on that one knuckle right there oh and then I also added

some nail polish because the fingers were just boring me and I like I've been

adding nail polish to all my drawings lately and sometimes it can make my

fingers look really really weird but these hands already looked weird so I

was like "hmm, it's worth a shot!" oh and then I used the white gel pen to

add some white to those little sparkles that I had added because I had taken the

marker a little bit too close to them and the white wasn't really showing

through so I used the white gel pen and then I started I don't

what I was thinking I just kept oh I didn't know what I was thinking I

grabbed the Jasper marker and I started adding like glitter dots but with the

dark color around her because I was trying to again really follow through on

my composition goal for the year and I decided to add like a swoosh of these

glitters so I had in my mind this s-shaped curve that went like around her

head and then down behind her and so I kind of just tried to follow that and

condense most of the dots along where the line would be that imaginary S line

and that is how I did that at least it's kind of interesting that

looks like snow doesn't really look like sparkles like I had in my mind but yeah

there is my one marker challenge or I guess I used two markers and two liners

and a white gel pen and I mean if you're going to be really picky

I used a pencil and an eraser and then I mean if you're gonna go that far I also

used you know paper so I guess I failed but I had a lot of fun and it's really

good to be back into drawing I hadn't drawn in a bit and yeah I think

it's important to give yourself breaks and it feels more exciting to get back

into it when you have so I'm very excited to get into this again so here

we go here's to a great 2019 you know I hope you all have a delicious evening

full of WAFFLES! ♪

Liverpool news: Dorsett reveals Clyne recall truth, gives positive Alexander-Arnold update - Duration: 2:49.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp allowed Clyne to join Bournemouth for the remainder of the season earlier this month

However, it emerged on Tuesday first-choice right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold is set for a spell on the sidelines with a knee injury

That led to speculation Liverpool would try to recall Clyne from his loan. But Dorsett says that is not the case and claims Alexander-Arnold's injury is not as bad as first feared

"Now, news for Liverpool fans and for Bournemouth fans," he said on Sky Sports News

"It concerns Nathaniel Clyne, the man who's just made the move from one to the other of course

"We understand there is no right of recall for Liverpool in that loan deal that was signed earlier in this window

"Clyne will stay at Bournemouth for the remainder of this season. "There have been some reports suggesting that Liverpool might have been temped to try [to recall Clyne] because of the injury to Trent Alexander-Arnold that we've learned about this afternoon

"But it seems his knee injury isn't as serious as first thought. "That's what we're being told this afternoon, and it won't keep him out for much more than a fortnight

" Clyne made his Premier League debut for Bournemouth in the 2-0 loss at Everton on Saturday

And Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher admitted he was surprised Klopp allowed him to leave, especially with how well he played in the Reds' 3-1 win over Manchester United in December

"I was surprised Liverpool let him go, I must say that," Carragher said of Clyne

"I know he hasn't been involved for a long time, but Liverpool have got young players there

"Trent Alexander-Arnold, [Joe] Gomez. He's a bit more experienced. "He played that one game against Manchester United and he was outstanding, considering how long he'd been out

"So I was quite surprised he'd gone."
