This is the shocking moment a middle-aged white man punches a young black girl in the face in front of a horrified crowd of kids standing outside a shopping mall.

The altercation involving 51-year-old David Steven Bell and the 11-year-old victim was captured on cellphone video around 7pm Saturday outside the Asheville Mall in North Carolina.

Bell is seen in the footage bickering back and forth with the group of young girls, before one of them harmlessly shoves him from behind. It's unclear what transpired between Bell and the children before the video was filmed.

He is heard in the clip ordering the kids to 'break it up' before the girl filming the incident asks, 'who is he?'. Seconds later, Bell is seen forcefully pushing the female victim in the chest before she storms toward him again.

The man in the video violently punches her in the face and she falls to the ground, appearing to hit her head on the pavement. The girl filming then screams out: 'Oh my god! Oh my god,' before the video concludes.

Bell is 6ft 5in and 250lbs, according to online jail records. Bell was arrested after the incident and charged with assault on a female under the age of 12 and two counts of assault.

He was booked to Buncombe County jail but released around 1am Sunday. The victim declined medical treatment, according to police, who have not revealed the nature of her injuries.

Bell's Facebook page, which has since been deleted, said he resides in Black Mountain and is married with two children. He is employed as an at-home piano teacher.

A woman who appears to be his wife is seen in the left-hand corner of the video watching the violent brawl in silence. Police are currently investigating the Saturday incident.

The Asheville Mall also said in a statement: 'We are aware of the videos circulating on social media. 'The @AshevillePolice responded immediately and the situation was diffused. An arrest has been made.

Protect the painting with clear gel.

Red is very popular.

Finish with no-wipe top gel.

I don't see navy roses, but it is very nice to draw it.

I recommend to mix color gel and clear gel if the rose disappears.(Use transparent color gel.)

Purple is also beautiful.

The brown rose is also wonderful to make sepia tone.

It might be more beautiful to paint it a little thinner.

How about someone who doesn't like flashy colors? I thought, I also applied flesh pink.

This is also a nice a little antique feeling.

I wanted to make Rainbow Rose, I tried using Marble Liquid.

there's a quarter inch jack at the back you could have put anything else you

wanted I don't think it's a microphone preamplifier but if you've got an output

of something in a keyboard player or whatever you can go into the back might

take care output from a acoustic guitar with a pickup on it for instance I think

things like that so that'd be very good so it's it's a two-track mixer as well

and then you've got the volume controls for the instruments for the microphone

then you can monitor using the volume control for your monitor button press

monitor and so I turn the monitor up and you can have your headphones you can

actually hear what the hell's going on more than that it's got three different

microphone worlds going on apparently there's two condenser microphones in

here so I've actually been looking for a microphone a one microphone that will if

I ever interview someone I could put the microphone on the table and get both

them and I and a problem is with most of all you don't need two channels or gonna

take my mixing desk with me odds I don't know do more complicated I can do it but

just more asshole this has got a figure of eight pattern

on it so you could sit it on the desk and have - people chatting and it would

come in come in as mono I believe I don't need stereo that way but that's

very cool it's on the cardioid at the moment so it's this way for me and then

we've got an omnidirectional so I think it must do something like put the

condenser microphone elements out of phase or something but it turns it into

an omnidirectional great for picking up you know the hubbub of a

room for instance whatever you just want to pick up the audience you know

clapping your I don't know whatever of course it's a USB which means it is it's

firmly in the League of either Windows or Mac I plugged mine in to the PC it

recognized it straight away and within about five seconds I was good to go with

it I fired up all dasa tea and I just selectively came as a Samson gchat Pro

was just there but it's so nice and easy and I did some test recordings yesterday

so that was fine well I've got the the re 20 from electro-voice here as well

just so well one I wanted to be able to sync the camera up and - I just wanted

either here I could swap around now it does have if I make a noise on the table

you can hear that very easily oh it's got a foam base just be careful not to

start typing you know you'll hear the right racket going on but you can

probably hear this as well but you might get a rumble and off this I don't know

you could put it on a shelf or course what I did

part of my initial test typical me I took it all apart put on a mic stand and

I did this quarter inch jack on the back of the screw the nuts was loose but you

know hey I'd have not loose my Bentley once so whatever and in any case that

Jack's probably soldered directly the sockets probably soldered directly to a

printed circuit board so it's almost as ethics then else I just tidy up by hand

that's good enough to me um other than that I'm very comfortable to quality

it's extremely heavy I mean I quite like this because it's a lot lighter and it's

less money so that's like 49 that's like a hundred and nearly a hundred and

twenty so we're gonna go to mull for instance with the chaps and I just want

a decent half decent microphone with me I probably take something little like

this because you know it folds fairly compact now

get that in the back of my case whereas this is a really nice little studio you

know look how it's just so big it looks fantastic I think I've mentioned all the

features you make your mind up I like it and Samson if you get any horse stuff

you want me to review send it over I'm just watching the red light actually

it's the red light telling me it is going into clip I'm not getting clip on

the output just do them microphone so for turn that down old you know what I

think it's gone into clip well well one two one two buckle my shoe one two

buckle my shoe so the red light on the front is telling

me that this whole thing is a waste of time because I've probably been clipping

internally not clipping on the output right but I might be clipping in there

Most people think that bonds are safe

and stocks are risky,

but that might be the biggest mistake you could make.

Hi, I'm Bradford Ferguson of Halter Ferguson Financial.

And I get it,

everyone says that the stock market is volatile

and bonds are stable so it's easy to believe they're right,

but what you might not understand

is where the real risk lies.

The real risk is running out of money.

You need growth to keep up with inflation

and make your money last 30 plus years after retirement.

And if you continue to believe

that the volatility of the stock market is risk,

you could actually run out of money

because your low-risk bonds don't earn you enough.

So how do you get enough growth

to ensure that you have enough money to last

without having to make painful sacrifices?

The key is to understand that risk and volatility

are not the same thing.

A bond preserves your money,

but it does so with such a small margin of return,

on average about four or 5%.

Inflation and taxes virtually wiped out that return.

This means that your remains the same.

The problem is that the cost of goods does not.

This Hershey's chocolate bar cost $0.25 in 1980.

Today the same chocolate bar

will cost you four times as much.

Your money doesn't go as far today as it did

even 12 months ago.

This is why growth is so important.

Your money needs to keep up with rising cost

and history shows that the best way to do that is stocks.

Since 1926, large stocks have returned

an average of about 10% per year.

If inflation is 3%, that leaves you with 7% more a year.

It's pretty clear that as far as risk go,

stocks might fluctuate more,

but in the end they provide more growth.

And not getting enough growth is the real risk

in investing your hard earned money.

So let me ask you.

Do you still wanna believe that stocks are too risky

and bonds are the safe bet

and run out of money in retirement

Projet SOLSA / SOLSA Project - Duration: 6:05.

Every day, billions of people around the world

use objects that make their lives easier, both at home and at work.

Such objects contain multiple metals.

The metal supply chain is critical to industries such as communication, transport or energy.

To match the growing metal demand and keep it sustainable,

the mining industry has to innovate.

More efficient techniques can optimize the metal production

and reduce the environmental impact.

It is in that perspective that the SOLSA project was developed.

SOLSA means Sonic On Line and Sampling Analysis.

It is a 4-years project which received funding from

the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.

The goal is to design and develop a robust

and reliable « expert system » in order to speed-up

and optimize exploration, mining and processing.

To achieve that

the project relies on collaboration of highly experienced partners

from European countries and combines technologies from 3 sectors:

The SOLSA expert system aims on-line-on-mine-real-time analyses combined with drilling.

We will work on drill cores from mine ores and wastes,

in order to speed up the decision making in processing and exploration.

We aims to produce 60 to 80 meters of drill cores per day

and analyze it at the same time and in real time.

The first part of this process is an innovative drilling system.

The SOLSA rig is a sonic drill rig as it uses the sonic drilling technology

which means that it uses 3 actors while drilling.

There is a vibration, a rotation and a pull-down force.

The big advantage of using vibration while drilling is that, it can liquefy the soil

For example in the clay we are drilling now,

it reduces the friction by inertia effects on drill strings.

It makes easier to drill and also sample

The drill core quality which you can retrieve is higher than all the types of drilling.

The mechanical parameters are registered during drilling,

giving precious information about hardness and other geotechnical parameters of the prospected area.

Once the core is extracted from the ground, it is analyzed by the ID analysis bench.

I mainly use data from the profilometer,

RGB camera, the very near infrared camera and the short wave infrared camera

It perform data fusion that is designed to construct the mapping on real time drill cores.

This first investigation will produce a cartography of the different mineral associations

composing the core and make a selection of the different areas to be analyzed by the second ID module.

On the drill core, selected areas are sampled in order to prepare some powder.

This powder is set inside the machine combined XRD XRF

in order to obtain phase analyses and elemental analyses.

This machine is dedicated specially for SOLSA with appropriate components

in order to give robustness to the techniques which is normally dedicated to laboratory environment.

In the future, for the SOLSA project, this machine will be added to a Raman spectrometer

in order to get much more accuracy in the term of phase determination.

Now that SOLSA has drilled and analyzed the drill cores, the data obtained have to be entered into a powerful database.

In this room we collect all measurement data from drilling rig sensors

and from multiple scientific equipment used on the field.

This database should be useful not only immediately for the project,

but also for product community, for general public, and of course for scientists and geologists.

We want to facilitate conversion of these data into valuable knowledge.

After 2.5 years of designing, discussing, testing, sharing, validating and interpreting results,

the SOLSA expert system is now operational for its first industrial scale test.

It clearly increases exploration efficiency, by broadening the data field while reducing costs and return time.

However, there is still work to be done.

With the expertise of the SOLSA's partners and the contribution of the students of SOLSA school,

we are finalizing a revolutionary tool to make a strong and valuable input for geometallurgy.

all kinds of problems behind the scenes as the script they began shooting with was changed

drastically over the course of production. So, Jamie Dornan shot some scenes that ended

up being removed from the final cut and Lily James' participation was reduced to a mere

cameo appearance. The resulting movie was not well received by critics, but it was well

received by foodies. Say what you will about the story and the character development in

this movie, but there is no one who can deny that the cooking scenes are gorgeous. Also,

by the end of the film, you feel inspired to get out there and learn to cook yourself.

Okay, you'll never be as good as Adam Jones is depicted to be in this movie, but you can

Food snobs might look down on McDonald's, but most foodies are unable to deny the pleasures

of the Big Mac or the Chicken McNuggets or the Tastes of the World line. Even those who

do hate McDonald's will enjoy the story of its founding, since it's just the tale

of a family run burger restaurant that has started from humble beginnings and will eventually

grow into one of the biggest corporations in the world. Michael Keaton stars as Ray

Kroc, the guy who convinces Nick Offerman and John Carroll Lynch's McDonald brothers

to turn their small burger restaurant into a chain. The rest, of course, is history.

The wonderful Linda Cardellini, B. J. Novak, and Laura Dern flesh out the cast. This movie

ended Michael Keaton's brief reign as an Oscar baiting actor. He starred in two Best

Picture winners in a row, although he failed to pick up the Best Actor gong for either

of them, and this was his "third time lucky" type bid to finally win an Oscar. Sadly, the

critics didn't take to it and neither did the audiences, so it was quickly buried and

forgotten about. While it might not be Academy Award caliber stuff, this is still a good

movie about one of the smartest entrepreneurs the fast food industry has ever known.

It might have been a myth that Marie Antoinette ever said the words, "Let them eat cake!"

due to a mistranslation, but that doesn't mean that she never ate cake. This movie certainly

has some beautiful cakes in it. The plot and the characters and the scandals and everything

are all very interesting and cool, sure, but it's mainly the cakes that make this a must

see flick – especially for foodies! Sofia Coppola wrote and directed this biopic, set

during the years leading up to the French Revolution, as a teen comedy. It has the lavish

set design and historically accurate costumes of a serious, dramatic biopic, but it has

the humor and the cast of a teen comedy. Stylistically, it is very interesting, to say the least.

Of course, a movie with this tone could easily have failed, if the balance between the style

and substance was not right. Luckily, Coppola is a pro and a visionary and it did all work

out. Working from influences like Terrence Malick and Stanley Kubrick, she delivered

a biopic that was entertaining, gorgeous, and a lot of fun. The cast has so many stars

in it that you wonder how they got so many terrific actors to appear in the same movie:

Kirsten Dunst, Jason Schwartzman, Steve Coogan, Rip Torn, Rose Byrne, Asia Argento, Molly

Shannon, Jamie Dornan, Tom Hardy, and more. It's kind of hard to make historical movies

fun, but Sofia Coppola nails it.

Eat Pray Love

Okay, only the "eat" part of this is really going to appeal to foodies. But the "pray"

part is good for anyone who is into spirituality and religion, and the "love" part has

something for everyone, since it's something that we can all benefit from. This movie has

some really beautiful food moments. Julia Roberts stars as Elizabeth Gilbert, whose

memoir the movie was based on, as she travels around the world to find herself and maybe

learn the meaning of life. The movie cost $60 million to produce – probably a combination

of paying the salary of one of the biggest A list stars in Hollywood and buying flights

to get her from America to Italy to India to Indonesia – which paid off in the end

as it grossed over $200 million at the global box office. While the critics didn't adore

the movie, it clearly found an audience. And it was shot by Robert Richardson, one of the

greatest cinematographers working today. The supporting cast is filled with strong players:

James Franco, Richard Jenkins, Viola Davis, Billy Crudup, and Javier Bardem. The "eat"

part takes place in Italy. That's where Julia Roberts learns the pleasures of food.

So, if you get carried away and want to live it for yourself, the Italy scenes were shot

in Rome and Naples. Have fun.

Julie and Julia

Amy Adams is often called the new Meryl Streep and this movie stars the two alongside each

other. Streep plays celebrity chef Julia Child and the early days of her career are explored

as a parallel to Adams' character Julie Powell, who sets out to cook all 524 recipes

in a cookbook written by Child in 365 days. She documents her journey on her blog and

the blog makes her a published author and one of her publications becomes the source

of this movie, so the whole thing becomes very cyclical and meta if you let it. The

truth is, this is a lovely movie that honestly examines the lives of two very different women.

It's like two movies rolled into one. This movie also has the distinction of being the

first ever major Hollywood movie to be adapted from a blog. It would sadly end up being the

final film of Nora Ephron, the legendary director and champion of women in filmmaking, and it

serves as a fine swansong for her career. Ephron could always be counted on for complex

female leads, so it's only fitting that her final film would tell the stories of not

one, but two fascinating women.

The Trip

A movie about Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon driving

across the north of England and doing Roger Moore impressions over dinner doesn't sound

incredibly exciting, but Coogan and Brydon are unequivocally two of Britain's funniest

men, and not only that, once you get them together and start the ball rolling, they

have terrific chemistry. They know each other well enough and have known each other for

long enough that they're comfortable making fun of each other, and that's fun for us

to watch. Much like Larry David or Christopher Guest, director Michael Winterbottom is of

the opinion that the most hilarious and organic dialogue is that which is improvised during

shooting. So, Winterbottom wisely just points one camera at Coogan and another camera at

Brydon and just lets them get on with it, as far as dialogue is concerned. But he also

positions some of his camera operators in the kitchens of the various restaurants that

the two comics travel to, in order to capture some footage of the food being prepared. When

the waiters bring the food out and place it down in front of Coogan and Brydon, they explain

how the dish was made and what the best way to consume it is. It's all very expensive

food and the portions are small, but it looks fantastic.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs

If you love food, then you'll surely love the animated movie about giant food falling

out of the sky. Bill Hader is one of the funniest people in the world right now, and yet he

is rarely given the opportunity to take center stage. He is either a strong supporting character,

like he is in countless Apatow productions, or he is the co-lead, as he was in Amy Schumer's

movie debut. In the past few months, he has been acclaimed by critics and showered with

awards for his work as the creator, writer, and star of his own HBO sitcom about an assassin

who joins an improv comedy troupe. Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs is an animated

movie about culinary weather which stars Hader as an inventor named Flint Lockwood and it

is a delightfully whacky parody of disaster movies. The voice cast is full of talent,

both in the form of new names in comedy – Anna Faris, Andy Samberg, Will Forte – and older

screen legends – Mr. T, Bruce Campbell, James Caan – as well as Neil Patrick Harris

playing a monkey. The movie was successful enough to warrant a sequel in which the characters

have to battle food monsters that have arisen as the result of yet another failed scientific

experiment.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Anyone who likes chocolate or musicals will enjoy this movie, and if you like both chocolate

and musicals (because who doesn't?), then even better. This was the first adaptation

of Roald Dahl's book, with this one placing more of an emphasis on the eccentric candy

magnate Willy Wonka than on his new protege, Charlie Bucket. The remake was directed by

Tim Burton and therefore had a darker, more gothic tone than this one. It starred Johnny

Depp as Wonka, and while he did do a good job in the role, no one could replace Gene

Wilder as cinema's Willy Wonka. From the moment he pretends to fall over and then jumps

back up, he solidifies himself as an exciting, unpredictable, crazy screen legend. All the

talk of chocolate in this movie and the fact that they're in a factory filled with rich,

gloopy melted chocolate the whole time makes it a must see for any chocoholic. Also, pretty

much anything with Gene Wilder in it is worth watching. Wilder has passed away, but he has

left behind one heck of a legacy as a legend of both acting and comedy. He's best remembered

for his collaborations with Mel Brooks on parody movies, but his turn as Willy Wonka

is one of the most memorable of his whole career.

Ratatouille

The guys at Pixar often come up with premises that you have to take with a pinch of salt.

For example, when the average moviegoer hears that a movie is coming out about an old man

who makes his house float off into the sky using a few thousand helium balloons, they

scoff at it. And then when the movie comes out, there they are in the crowd, bawling

their eyes out, falling in love with the characters. The same thing happened with this effort from

Brad Bird. It's about a rat who wants to work in a kitchen and be a great chef more

than anything in the world. Already, we've got the ultimate underdog – a rat is a kitchen's

worst nightmare, and he wants to work there! Patton Oswalt, one of the great alternative

standup comics of our time, stars in the role of Remy and makes him a lovable and relatable

and real character. Some people might dispute the idea that you can control the actions

of someone's entire body just by pulling their hair from under their hat, but that's

not the point. It's not a movie about the physics of the human body; it's a movie

about following your dreams against all odds.

Chef

Jon Favreau is known typically for his big blockbuster movies. He directed the first

movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the one that introduced moviegoing audiences to

Robert Downey, Jr.'s wonderful Iron Man, so he is basically responsible for the biggest

film franchise in the world right now, one that has kicked off a new trend in Hollywood.

He also retold Mowgli's story for Disney using brand new photorealistic shooting technology

to make a CGI riddled set piece look like beautifully rendered live action footage.

However, when he became a serious foodie a couple of years ago and grew obsessed with

the art of cooking, he decided to make a movie with a smaller budget that would star himself

as a chef who opens his own food truck. The movie is basically just two hours of lavish,

cinematic, gorgeously realized food shots. And while it was a smaller scale production

than Favreau is used to, he managed to make the most of his Hollywood connections to surround

himself with a star studded cast of supporting actors: Sofia Vergara, John Leguizamo, Dustin

Hoffman, Oliver Platt, and Amy Sedaris, as well as Favreau's MCU buddies Robert Downey,

Jr. and Scarlett Johansson. The movie is funny and it's just quirky enough to be amiable.

2015-2019 F150 5 Star Rev-X Tuner by SCT w/ 3 Custom Tunes 3.5L EcoBoost Review & Dyno - Duration: 10:58.

Hey guys.

Adam here with americantrucks.com and today we're taking a quick look at and installing

the 5 Star Rev-X by SCT tuner with three custom tunes available for the '15 and newer a 3.5

liter EcoBoost F150, excluding the Raptor model.

You're getting three custom tunes, an 87, 91 and 93.

Those tunes have been specifically modified for your particular 3.5 which is a really

big advantage to a custom tune rather than one of those preloaded tuners which might

save you a little bit of money but this is how you really maximize the power of your

3.5.

We're gonna take a baseline run on the dyno with our '16 with 93 in the tank.

Full disclosure, guys, we do have completely stock under the hood but we also have 34-inch

tires which do come into play.

So there are a couple of variables that might differ from your situation.

But nonetheless, I want to show you guys the before and afters.

So from the factory, we're looking at about 321 horsepower, 351 foot-pounds of torque

at the rear wheels.

Pretty good numbers stock with just some octane in the tank.

We then, of course, uploaded our 93 octane tune from 5 Star and we walked away with 367

horsepower and 392 foot-pounds of torque at the rear wheels.

Peak gains, we're looking at about 45 horsepower, 42 foot-pounds of torque at peak.

Now that's really impressive.

That's what we expect with these EcoBoosts.

They make really good numbers.

Under the curve, however, we're looking at really good top end curve gains.

Now typically with the EcoBoost, you would see a huge spike down low at about 4K.

We're actually seeing the biggest gains around 5800 RPMs.

Biggest gains of about 84 horsepower, 75.1 foot-pounds of torque under the curve.

That's insane.

Top end power here is really, really impressive with the 5 Star tune.

Now, with this particular tuner 5 Star has let me know that they focus their attention

on a couple of different key areas.

First and foremost driveability and reliability are their top priority.

There's a couple of other aspects of the factory tune and factory strategies that they do alter

in order to gain more power in every octane level and across the RPM band.

The factory fuel strategies have a long delay timer at wide open throttle before adding

additional fuel.

They also have a really laggy and conservative feel which is definitely something you'll

feel in your 3.5 and 5 Star tackles that in order to dump just a little bit more fuel

at wide open throttle in order to eliminate those delay timers and of course give you

a little bit more fuel at the top end, a little bit more power at the top end.

In addition to that, the drive-by-wire delay is a huge problem for the 3.5.

You have a really noticeable lag at the bottom end which definitely delays some of that low-end

torque.

Reducing and even eliminating that is a goal of 5 Stars.

That is a critical area that they focus their attention on in order to give you that low-end

torque and a better throttle response just to really wake up the 3.5.

Your rev limiter, speed limiter, and output [inaudible 00:02:42] limiters are all slightly

increased to a safe limit while also keeping the factory Ford fail-safes in check like

your knock sensors and knock strategies.

Those are all really important fail-safes to keep in mind in order to have a safe calibration,

something built into those 5 Star tunes.

As far as timing, 5 Star tackles that in order to add timing and spark to a lot of key areas

of the RPM bend in order to net more power while like I said, keeping those fail-safes

in check.

Your torque converter is locked sooner and left locked longer at light cruising speeds

in order to help with fuel economy, so that's kept in mind as well.

But you're also gaining respectable numbers with lower octane fuels as well.

So it's not all about the 93 tune, right?

There's one more thing I want to mention, driving modes.

Driving modes are also altered.

Your daily driving mode is going to be altered from fourth through sixth gear simply because

you're gonna be hitting those higher gears like four through six at lower speeds.

You typically hit six between 30 and 38 miles per hour with the six-speed in your 3.5 which

just can leave long delays for downshifting.

It can really just eat up and feel sluggish and laggy in your 3.5 and those tunes are

modified in order to make daily driving just a little bit more fun.

Sport mode is something guys we'll be able to take advantage of with this tune from like

second through fifth gear.

So instead of it kicking it at wide open throttle, you can take advantage of that mode and the

torque band at the lower RPMs.

Tow-haul mode strategies in the 5 Star tune is also altered because the guys towing and

hauling heavier loads even upwards of 5,000 pounds and above will have a little bit of

trouble with downshifting and engine braking with the V6s because they're not the same

as the V8s.

Having the tow-haul mode changed up in your tune will enhance the RPMs to stay elevated

longer, requiring a little bit less downshifting and being easier on the engine braking in

your V6, having a noticeable increase in impact through second through fifth gear.

About 450 bucks will get you what you see here along with the USB cable to load and

unload tunes on your computer.

You're also gonna get an OBD2 harness to plug it right in under the dashboard to get to

flashing on your 3.5.

One out of the three wrenches on our difficulty meter here.

It'll take you guys 15, maybe 20 minutes at the most but that's about all it takes to

get your vehicle flashed.

All right, guys.

First step of the process here of course plug in your Rev-X device using the OBD2 connector

provided for you in the kit.

Plug it into your OBD2 under the driver side dash of your EcoBoost.

It will take you up to the main menu and the first thing I want to show you guys is how

to just flash your vehicle, simple as that.

Go to Program Vehicle, it's your first option in the menu highlighted in red there and hit

Select.

From there just verify your VIN number, looks good to me.

Confirm.

Now if you're not already connected to Wi-Fi on your device it will prompt you to connect.

I definitely recommend doing that, checking for updates, so on and so forth, making sure

you have a good connection there.

The next step once you do connect it'll prompt you for a cloud sync.

Now if 5 Star has sent you your tunes via the cloud you will need to connect to the

cloud in order to sync those onto your device.

Now we've already manually installed those tunes to our device on the computer using

our USB cord, so we're gonna go ahead and skip that.

We've got ours already loaded up here so I'm gonna hit Skip.

It gives you a prompt just letting you know it's not legal to use or sale in California

or pollution controlled motor vehicles.

Accept that.

Make sure your key is on the on position but the engine is not started.

That's crucial.

Wait for two to three seconds then hit Continue.

Keep in mind guys out of the box you're getting three custom tunes to select.

On our device, we're only gonna have 93 because that's all we're showing you guys in this

video so that's all I moved on to our device, but for you you'll have those three options.

For us, we're just gonna go forward with 93.

From here, it'll give you the option to change some of the parameters of the tune.

Things as simple as gear ratio, tire size, speed limiter, rev limiter, so on and so forth.

I don't want to go in and change any of those.

I just want to show you guys that file sent to us from 5 Star so we're not gonna make

any modifications.

But if you see that fit for your particular situation, that option is there.

I'm gonna move over and hit Skip, confirm that that's what we want.

At this point, it'll save a stock file, your stock tune from Ford onto your device so you

can revert back to stock at any point in the future.

For you guys that are already done that part or once you see this load all the way through

it'll then move into tuning the 93 octane tune.

It'll load from zero to a hundred a couple of times and it might even prompt you to turn

your key off and on at certain points, so just pay attention to the tuner every now

and then.

Might take a little bit longer than you may expect the first time around at least.

Let it load from zero to a hundred as many times as it needs to in order to tune and

then we'll come back and will be complete.

At this point, it'll clear all the DTC codes, prompt you to turn your key off, so wanna

do that.

Turn your key in the on position once it prompts you to do that.

At that point, it will make its final changes to the processor, prompt you that programming

is complete.

You can unplug your device and you're good to go.

Taking you guys through the first function, other than actually tuning your vehicle right

underneath is gauges and datalog.

This is gonna be really useful for the guys out there looking to monitor their engine

vitals on the fly and keep track of their engine performance while also keeping track

of a datalog.

Now gonna make sure your key is in the on position which it is.

Hit Continue and you'll be given a ton of different options on how to track those engine

vitals.

Before we move forward it'll ask you to select your particular years.

So Ford gas '08 or newer, we're working with a '16.

It's gas, it's not a diesel so we're gonna select that.

It'll scan your data log files, throw you into the menu.

The vehicle isn't actually on so we're not going to track any boost, there isn't any

PSI but it gives you the opportunity to track some of these on the fly.

Now if we had our car on running, this is where you can take a look at that.

Can hit to the right, select your gauge layout and you can monitor up to eight different

vitals at once.

Selecting a new gauge layout will show you a ton more options you can select.

Change the item.

So this was boost and PSI, we can change that to air intake temp.

Hit Approve.

Now the top left his air intake temperature.

So really useful stuff for guys who want to know this on the fly.

It's really important stuff for the guys looking to make a lot more power, who might want to

track their boost, who might want to track their temperatures, air-fuel ratios, so on

and so forth.

Something to keep in mind, you can start and stop recording data.

You can upload this to the cloud and I'll show you guys how that works in just a second.

So you could send that to and from your tuner to make improvements on the fly.

So we're gonna go back.

Stop data logging, it'll take us back to the main menu.

Vehicle functions is another really good option to have in the Rev-X device.

Anytime a check engine light pops up you can read the DATC code, dynastic trouble code,

and you can clear them.

That's really good, really useful info.

You don't have to go to an AutoZone to have it read, you don't have to use a different

device, you don't have to purchase another device or go to Ford and pay for diagnostics.

You can just plug that in and read what that code is and have a full description of it

right there with the code number.

Vehicle Info.

Turn your key on, you'll be given that information.

Information including your VIN number, your strategy code, ECU code, so on and so forth.

All that is kept on your device.

When it's plugged in it'll read that right along for you.

Device Info.

Very similar, it's gonna read your device name, your app name, device part number, serial

number.

Good things to have when requesting new tunes as well.

Finally Device Settings.

Check for updates.

That is gonna require Wi-Fi.

Wi-Fi is another option down here.

Another thing that you'll need when using the cloud file sync.

Once you're connect to Wi-Fi you'll be able to access the cloud if your tuner is sending

you new files or if you're sending files back to the tuner, including datalog.

You can upload your datalog to the cloud ,sending that to your tuner, they can make revisions

if necessary.

Here are seven meditations for the fifth week of Lent.

Sunday's meditation unpacks the symbolism of the bronze serpent Moses raised into the

air to cure the Israelites.

It prefigures the Passion in three ways.

On Monday, St. Thomas describes the five evils we incur through sin.

The Passion remedies each of these evils.

Tuesday we hear three reasons it was right that Christ should be buried after His death.

Wednesday's meditation discusses spiritual burial in God,

and how its conditions are shown symbolically in the burial of Christ.

On Thursday St. Thomas considers the question of whether the Eucharist or the Passion is

the greater sign of God's love for mankind.

He concludes that the Passion is the greater sign.

Mary suffered profoundly at the Passion of her Son.

Friday's meditation includes four particular things that made her suffering especially bitter.

St. Thomas discusses foot washing in the final meditation for this week.

In imitation of the Lord, we should wash each other's feet, both in spirit and physically.
