Youtube daily report Jan 15 2019

- It may seem counterintuitive,

but weep hole leaks on water pumps are nothing to cry about.

In fact, it's designed to work that way.

Water pumps contain a rotating seal,

that keeps coolant from pouring out of the engine.

The seal has two surfaces that need

to remain lubricated and cool as they spin.

When an engine is started,

the water pump moves coolant through the system.

Coolant is drawn into the seals surfaces

by capillary action.

Like, when you spill water,

touch the corner of a paper towel to the spill,

and the towel draws it in.

As the coolant passes between the seals,

it has to go somewhere.

The weep hole is there to allow

a small amount of coolant to drip out.

Without the weep hole,

coolant would back into bearing housing,

and wash out the grease, leading to bearing failure.

Newer pumps with weep chambers

contain initial coolant drip.

The drip will vaporize out a little hole in the top.

In the past, technicians have mistakenly

diagnosed the small drip,

as a catastrophic pump failure.

Normal weep leaks should have a few drops

outside the weep hole.

If you end up with a lot of coolant

flowing from the weep hole,

the seal has been compromised,

and the pump must be replaced.

I Didn't Buy Fabric For An Entire Year - What's the 2019 Challenge? | SEWING REPORT - Duration: 14:12.

can you go a whole year without buying fabric welcome to the Sewing Report I'm

Jennifer Moore helping you discover your love of sewing crafts and DIY projects

and one year ago I pledged not to buy any fabric for the entire year did I do

it what did I learn and what is this year's challenge going to be we're gonna

be chatting about all of that and I've got some updates for you if you've been

following me for a while you know that I did not buy any clothing in 2017 and for

the most part I did actually carry on that pledge into 2018 I bought a few

items of clothing but I was much more mindful about what I was doing and

that's kind of the point of all this it's not to deprive ourselves it's to

learn what we what we do need what we don't need and trying to figure out what

a good balance is so I did go the entire year without any fabric was it difficult

I gotta be honest with you not really I thought maybe there would be a specific

project that I would need something for or you know I'd be like see some print

that I had to have and I did avoid looking at a lot of websites for fabric

and you know looking at a lot of blogs so that was that kind of helped the

other thing now I did say that if I got like fabric is part of like a PR box

like I sometimes get or as like a gift I just had to get rid of an equivalent

amount of fabric by selling it by giving it away so I did do that I did a little

little bit of a like sewing report sort of like a like a little sale early last

year and then I did a garage sale at whim so doodle that went pretty well I

definitely held up that end of the deal by not bringing more fabric into my

stash that's something that's been bothering me for awhile

I didn't want to have those crazy hoarders stashes and in fact I would say

that throughout the entire year and going into 2019 now I don't feel like I

made that big of a dent in my fabric stash I will be honest I still feel like

I have a way too much fabric so I think going into 2019 I'm gonna try to

continue to not really buy anything new use what I

have and try to be purposeful because I still have way too much stuff in here

and we're gonna be moving in the next few weeks so I want to have as little

stuff as possible even though that's still an insane amount of stuff in here

so there's been some changes this uh this contraption here this is my husband

James's new 3d printer so that's gonna be going with us when we move and we may

be making videos for his channel more proof I don't really understand 3d

printing I tried to use it one day while he was at work and it didn't go super

well but you know that's why I have a sewing channel and not a 3d printing

channel and for the record I was having a pretty good hair day but the rain like

it just got totally wrecked so here we are so yes no fabric and a funny story I

had bought like a bunch of fabric from fabric wholesale direct right before my

self-imposed fabric ban thinking hey this will give me a good stash of new

stuff to work on throughout the year I don't even think I've used any of that

forever so I spent about a hundred bucks on fabric and it's still just sitting in

the closet I did cut out some of the fabric to make some girls dresses with

but that project is definitely not anywhere near finished so I think it's

the thing I thought I was gonna need more fabric than I did you know I don't

know I guess I just had much more than I realized in my stash is it just me or do

I feel like we have a lot to catch up on why not make this like eight videos all

rolled into one so recently I got the new max email box

and mood fabrics which I have done a review on before they sent me another

sample box so in the spirit of fabric why not open these up during this video

so this is the designer fat it's like they're designing or swatch club this is

very cool thank you very much mood although I'm gonna need a lint roller

there's just a lot of random lint on here and like little fuzzies so okay

this is the new whoa new mood swatch club

samples okay so basically how it works is if you do sign up for this they send

you new swatches every month and then I think you get a discount on any orders

you make and they give you a little booklet of all the swatches okay this is

cool but mood man there there is a lot of debris in here previously I did do a

review on another swatch box I think it's a cool idea although I'm finding

with this one too the swatches are still very taste specific and a lot of the

fabrics are like pretty out there so it's not real neutral stuff think like

stuff that you would see like a fashion designer use on Project Runway okay Wow

I'm gonna close this there's like little hairs everywhere okay yeah there's a

piece of faux fur in here and I think this is where a lot of this is coming

from we're gonna put this back in the box

Thank You mood fabrics I always keep a couple lint rollers in my sewing room

because you never know when you're gonna like I feel like you need one all the

time maxie makes subscription sewing box for

december yes I realize it's mid-january so forgive me here I got the box a few

days ago and I've just been so wrapped up another stuff like looking for a

place to live that I haven't gotten a chance to get it out of the car oh this

is neat okay it's got oh this month's project is a needle book there's so much

more needle book and this is neat because it fits stuff that we've gotten

in previous maxy makes boxes like the little pins and some of the some of the

Wonder clips stuff so this is cool thank you so much maxi wow this one does a lot

of stuff in it I've really been enjoying these projects and I did make these

scarves in last month's box and I gifted them oh love me some fray check some

cute scissors in here embroidery scissors hey this will go great with my

new embroidery machine right you can always use another good pair of scissors

I love scissors there's quilters dream batty and probably for the needle book

oh this is cute look at all rights got more batting and it's got some fabrics

in here it's got some scissor fabric yes now that I'm now that my fabric ban

is over you know I can go hog-wild here it's got some more tea this is cute oh

and the ribbon that'll be used to close the needle book this is very cool that

in a useful project is and it's got some elastic this is a really good idea and I

think I could definitely use something like this so thank you so much Maxie for

thinking of me again these things were sent to me and I very much appreciate

them and I will link everything below if you are interested but again no pressure

here I almost didn't see this it's a super cute hummingbird needle threader

how cool okay so let's get to some other business what is gonna be the challenge

for this year and I'm gonna tell you it's going to be sewing for other people

sewing gifts that's what I want this theme to be and I'll tell you why I've

been doing a lot of sewing for myself in the past couple years but I also really

love gifting things whether it be to a close friend a family member or even

someone I barely know or don't know I just really like giving things to people

and I almost enjoy it more than getting gifts in return so I thought this year I

would focus on doing things for other people

of course you're welcome to do this also along with me because you know why not

do it with some friends here and I've been doing a lot of thinking lately and

also chatting with a friend of mine and I feel like I see a lot out there in the

sewing and making community of just making stuff sometimes it doesn't really

have a purpose it's like a little tchotchke I mean don't get me wrong

those things are cute everything you see on Pinterest but at the same time a lot

of it to me just doesn't seem practical and I really want to make something that

has intent meaning and purpose behind it rather than make something that is

adorable for five minutes and then you forget about it I also again I'm really

trying to purge things out of my life and and really kind of edit some of the

things I have possessions clothes whatever whatever you can think of

and I think that really goes along with everything I'm doing so I'm gonna try to

do as little selfish sewing this year as I possibly can I mean every once in a

while you never know if I'm gonna need something for myself but as I've learned

from 2017 you really don't need that much clothing I mean I wear the same

like three t-shirts just over and over again and pretty much just two pairs of

pants so it can certainly Bennett be done especially if you work from home

like me and a friend of mine who I did a shot of vlog with her for my channel Jen

talks forever and we also shot one for her channel Allison Moore oh she's a

friend of mine she's a TV reporter and she's probably one of the only known TV

reporters who focuses solely on environmental issues now I'm not the

biggest tree hugger on the planet but from talking to Allison it's really

gotten me I guess just maybe more interested or at least more feeling more

relevant to do things to at least cut down on my own carbon footprint I mean

you don't have to be like insane about it but at the same time I don't want to

be I don't want to be that jerk ruining the planet if you get my drift she talks

a lot about sustainability and one of the things that she feels is really

important is not only to like use green products and environmentally friendly

stuff but one big thing we can do as individuals is to simply consume less

buy something and use it as many times as you can get something that lasts

longer so you don't have to keep replacing it and I think that that just

really applies to the sewing community and the the crafting and DIY community

because I see a lot of projects out there and yes we can make we can make

something every day but at the same time I don't want to just make stuff to make

stuff I really want to make things with with it with a meaning behind it with a

purpose something practical so I'm gonna take this year and I am going to be for

the most part just sewing things for other people

and I want these things to mostly be a surprise and I've been doing this over

the past couple months and I just love surprising someone with like hit you

know monogrammed towels or handmade stockings or their own monogrammed

pillows and especially when the person's not expecting it so I'm going to be

documenting projects I make for other people I've been kind of doing that in

the month of December with some Christmas gifts I made but I want to

continue doing that and also telling you more about the recipient without really

giving away their identity but just kind of sharing more why making something for

someone and and just sharing that with you

and let's face it I don't I don't need any more stuff so that is my pledge for

2019 is sewing for others so if that's something you'd like to join in on feel

free to let me know in the comments because I I don't know it's just been

something that's really been weighing on my mind so I thought why not and I'm

probably still gonna continue to not really buy fabric if I do buy fabric I

will I will let you know but I think I could probably go for quite a while

without buying more fabric and if I did it would be like a small amount or

something very specific for a project but I don't I don't want to keep going

on this wheel of just buying fabric because it's cute without a project in

mind I think that can be potentially wasteful and I mean I could have fabrics

sitting here until after I die and then what do people do with it then I don't

know so if you have an opinion on this also

let me know but that's what we're doing this year folks also in in other news I

have found us a place to live so we're not gonna be I'm not gonna be doing this

on your part for my cardboard box yet we have found a condo for rent so I'm very

excited and we should be moving in in the next three to four weeks so I'm

pretty jazzed about the location and I think it'll have a good setup for

filming I'm probably gonna ditch this backdrop I really don't like it I don't

know I don't know why I thought it would be cool but it's got like I couldn't put

it up without there being a semen middle and I think that looks kind of

ugly so we'll see and also I should be able to take some really awesome sewing

pictures with with the setting so I won't give too much away yet but I think

this will be really cool so anyways I just wanted to catch up a little bit let

you know about how I did with the fabric challenge which was I think pretty I

think I did pretty okay and if you did enjoy this video be sure to hit that

like button and consider subscribing to the sewing report for everything sewing

crafts and DIY projects i'm jennifer moore i'll see you again in the next

How to Use Captions on YouTube ft. Jessica Kellgren-Fozard - Duration: 6:41.

Captioning and subtitling your videos

opens it up to a much larger

audience increasing both your

reach and engagement.

When your video is easy to understand,

it's also easy to share.

In this second video I'll be taking you

through exactly how you can

reach that wider audience.

Hi, I'm Jessica Kellgren-Fozard

and I'm a deaf YouTuber. On my channel

I make fun and chatty and

educational videos all about

deaf awareness, disabilities,

gayness, travel, fashion.

It's a whole load of things.

I also have cute dogs

who like to steal the show.

I went deaf in my teens, so I know

just how important captions are.

But, it isn't only deaf and hard

of hearing people who benefit

from captions.

As I explained in the previous

video, a huge amount of the

YouTube audience uses captions from

those in noisy environments,

sound sensitive environments,

people who've got processing disorders,

people who are learning English as

a second language, and of course

it's useful to you as a creator.

YouTube's own automatic

captioning has increased

dramatically since it was first

rolled out.

They're currently also available in English language livestreams

for channels that have over 10,000 subscribers.

The technology has now come so

far, that it's apparently just short of the human

transcription error rate.

If automatic captions are

available in your video, you can

review and edit them at anytime to make

them more accurate.

Just go to your Video Manager

and click on Edit, Subtitles/CC

next to the video that you want to edit.

And then click on the automatic

captions track.

Every time you

submit a correction or

suggestion to the track that YouTube has

created for you,

you're actually helping the

machine to learn.

If you find it faster though

making captions all by yourself, or you

know that you use a lot of technical words

the machines have great trouble

picking up on,

There are other options.

Here are the three ways you can

create your own captions tracks

Start from your Video Manager.

In the drop down menu next

the video you'd like to add a

captions track to, click

Subtitles/CC.

Select your language,

and you will have one of three options.

The first is "Upload a file".

This is for when you've already created a closed

captions file off site.

There are a variety of websites where you can do this

and there are some companies

that you can pay,

and they'll caption a video for you.

This type of file would contain

both the text and the time codes

for exactly when each line of

text should be displayed.

Some files also include position

and style information which is

particularly important for deaf or hard of

hearing viewers. The next is

"Transcribe and auto-sync".

This is a really great option

for videos that already have a script

or a voice over. Simply copy and

paste your script into the box.

Then just click "Set timings" and you're done.

This will take a few minutes as

YouTube's voice recognition

software automatically connects

the written word to the spoken.

Once they're ready your

new closed captions will be

automatically published.

You can then go in and edit them

if the time is a little off.

This option is a great time saver.

And finally "Create new subtitles or CC".

OK, this option is a little more

labor intensive, but it's a

really good option for free

flowing formats like vlogs and so on.

YouTube will give you automated timing blocks

where it recognizes that there is speech,

but you can turn this option off

if you don't like it.

Type your content into each box and if you

need to change when it starts

and ends, you can do so by

dragging the borders.

A great thing about this option

is that if you don't have time to finish

the whole video, you can save it

as a draft, and come back, finish

and publish later.

No matter which option you choose, please do remember to

include not just the spoken word,

but also audio sound cues such as:

Anything to help your deaf

or hard of hearing viewers, or just

those who've got the sound off.

If you only make videos as a

hobby, or you release them daily,

captioning them or can seem like quite a task.

You might also not be able to pay for

a service to do them for you and

that is where YouTube's amazing

feature community captions comes in handy.

Community contributions allow one or more of your viewers

to create not only a captions file,

but also transcriptions into

different languages for your

video. These are then submitted to

you to be checked, or your community

can review them for you.

That's actually the way I caption

most of my videos.

Before your community can submit closed caption files,

of subtitles, or even translated

titles and descriptions,

you need to turn the option on,

either for one video or for all of them.

To turn community contributions on with just one click,

go to your Creator Studio.

Select "Translations and Transcriptions"

in the side bar. Click that settings

wheel and then "Turn on for all videos".

There's also the ability to turn them on

just specific videos.

Go to your Video Manager.

Next to "Edit", click the drop down menu

next to your video and select "Info & Settings".

Under the video

click "Advanced settings" and then scroll down to where

you can select "Allow viewers to contribute translated titles, descriptions, and subtitles/CC".

Click "Save changes" and you're done!

After a viewer has submitted their translation or transcriptions,

YouTube will moderate it for spam or

inappropriate content. You can manage it

by reviewing, editing, publishing, flagging

or just rejecting it.

You can also allow your Community just to

review the content for you

and it will automatically be

published once enough people

have said it's ok.

Currently, people watch videos with automatic captions

more than 15 million times a day

and the number of videos with

them on YouTube is an

astonishing 1 billion.

Don't let your channel get left

behind.

Make sure these videos are

captioned and you're reaching

the widest audience possible.

I hope these two videos have showed you just how

important captions are.

They're an invaluable tool for audience expansion,

viewer engagement, content retention,

improved video discovery and of course improved SEO.

If you'd like to know more about captioning YouTube videos,

I have a dedicated playlist on my channel.

If you'd like to learn about other areas

of making YouTube videos,

then stay on the YouTube Creator's channel

to find out more.

Why Arsenal could lose head of recuitment to Bayern Munich - Duration: 2:01.

The future of Arsenal's head of recruitment Sven Mislintat is in serious doubt.  The Gunners officially insist Mislintat is not leaving amid reports that the ex-Borussia Dortmund scout is on his way out with Bayern Munich rumoured to be keen to take him back to Germany

But there do exist issues at the training ground as it is believed Mislintat's nose could have been put out of joint because Arsenal are looking to bring in a technical director

Sources claim that Mislintat - who was brought in by former chief executive Ivan Gazidis - believed he would get that job if it became available

Mislintat played a key role in bringing in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan last January but Arsenal now have little or no budget and there is disillusionment all round

Mislintat was hailed as a major coup for Arsenal when he arrived but the major changes behind the scenes at the club mean he is now working with a different manager and hierarchy at the club

There have been suggestions that Mislintat feels that his toes are being trodden on

It is believed that Mislintat's targets do not necessarily tally with Emery's transfer wish list and, now with a technical director set to be appointed, that looks to be the cue for another potential departure

Arsenal now appear to be going through a testing time with Barcelona 's Denis Suarez their most likely signing but it would have to be on loan with a view to a permanent summer switch

What is bertsolaritza? :: performance 07 :: Alaia Martin & Maialen Akizu - Duration: 6:44.

Alaia, you are Maialen's mother.

Today, at dinner time, your daughter acknowledged that she is pregnant,

as you got pregnant with her, when you were young.

It's already been two months since I had my last period,

and I notice that my belly is growing little by little.

You can jeer at me now as I might have disappointed you,

but first tell me that everything will be fine.

Although I chocked with the chicken,

as your hand and your look are shaking,

calm down and first take this hug,

how things will be, if they have to be, it is your decision.

In the past, a pregnancy test disturbed me deeply,

but the second one forced me to make a decision.

These surprises always end up in tears,

if they are born, the baby's; if they are not, the mother's.

First of all, have a lime blossom tea and have deep breath.

Here you will receive no jeer, no opinion and no judgement.

The case is similar but I do not want to interfere:

I do not regret having you, but I regret getting pregnant.

Usually I get courage with your words

Although at first I saw everything black and problematic.

I give you my word and you come first place,

I might be the second best mom in the world.

First I had chicken and now I also have words to swallow,

please seek advice because I have none to give.

Apparently in your opinion on average I was the best mother,

loving a baby is enough to be a good mom.

First acceptance, then denial, and my eyes get wet.

My belly is growing little by little and so is my fear.

Give me that hug and let's go to the couch.

It will not be the solution, but it is what I need.

You will get what you need, if that is what you need.

Reflect on it by yourself and let's go to the couch.

I will stand by your side and will help you as need,

to abort or to sonography.

What is bertsolaritza? :: performance 01 :: Aitor Sarriegi & Unai Agirre - Duration: 4:24.

Aitor, you are the son and, Unai, you are the father.

Aitor, although your father hadn't approved, you spent your savings on a very fancy videogame.

However, he plays with it more than you.

Although you did not want me to play with it

Have a close look at yourself

You are sitted in the middle of the living room all focused:

The Play Station is in flames.

A father has protection instinct;

Do not pity me seeing me like this.

Do not believe this is so good for your brain.

I use it just to prevent you from doing it.

Such art and such advantage,

my father's level became evident.

Always the same game and, on top of it, it's not hard,

but he did not even pass the first level.

As you started hard today,

I did not pass it, but it is worse for you:

Leave me alone with the first level,

you will not use it untill I pass this.

Then I will not show you today

'that has two controllers', I tell myself.

The definitive solution is this:

We will play against each other and that is it.

He would like to play with his father

we play no games in poor families

I would not like to play harsh games;

Competition is a bad thing at your age.

What is bertsolaritza? :: performance 02 :: Igor Elortza & Sustrai Colina - Duration: 3:50.

Sustrai and Igor became partners recently.

They went to a restaurant together almost hiding so that anybody could see them.

They are surrounded by acquaintances.

Dang, those are your mom and dad

I am finding it hard to swallow the sea bream

And the one with them, isn't that grandma?

Soon our relationship will be on TV.

Three of my ex-partners are there

Igor, I did not know that you were so flirtatious

Did you think there was no one before you?

Calm down, the exes' gang is coming now.

And perhaps I have more exes than you

You are jealous and I am doubting

Then you'd better drink two sips of wine

And order three more wines.

Wow, the waiter is also my ex

That is why he hurries to serve

We will surely still have a bunch of surprises

It will not be easy to skip them.

Oh, and my gang just came in through the door!

Sure you told them 'cause you want to show off

I know you wanted to show me around

They will be surprised for this, today.

I am getting nervous with so many acquaintances

But you continue delighting the world

That other thingy thing started to get nervous

I don't think we will do anything today.

Probably we should go to the toilet.

Wow, I have been waiting for you to say that for two years!

You too know that someone is waiting for us.

Let's see if we warm up with these emergencies.

And we stay inside with the door locked up,

because there is nothing good at this point.

It will be a good story to tell tomorrow,

next time we will set the date at home!

Powerful Panel Discussion Tip #182 with Patricia Fripp: How to Answer a Poor Question - Duration: 1:19.

What is your strategy to answering or avoiding poor questions?

Okay, well you can say, "Kristin, what I believe you might be saying is" and you

rephrase it with some clarity, or "Kristin, I expected you would have asked me a tougher

question such as this."

And again, this is part of your preparation in your back pocket.

And very often, of course people don't ask questions, they say "well I think bah bah,

bah, bah, what do you think?" and then I would say "I can understand your point of

view Kristin, however, there is a much bigger question that we don't ask because it's

tough" and then you lead it that way.

So you acknowledge it but you really don't respond to it.

What is bertsolaritza? :: performance 05 :: Maialen Lujanbio - Duration: 6:15.

Topic: It is already half an hour that a car is chasing you.

We were told that this was the kingdom of luck

but during night work, here we are wondering how to feel.

During cold winter our shift passes by in light clothes

Night's for work and day's for work

We are able to skip our inflexible present.

A future is needed for us, always blurry.

A man is in the driver's seat He's the one that paid for me

I don't know who is guilty here, him or me.

In the roundabout of Miribilla I go around a thousand times

Like from boulder to boulder

Cars stop by and we look at each other

They say "come here!" And we say "bring the money!"

Customers are usually not as nice as we wish.

And as so many other times I am anxious in the car.

A police car is chasing us and sirens are clamoring,

I bet that they will release him and I will be given a fine.

Bank of the Nerbion River, San Francisco, Merced and Somera,

that is our way to escape and our wheel to escape.

My will now goes up and down

The man on my left does not seem very merciful.

And although police does not get to capture us,

think how pleasant it will be for me

Because this is the role us, prostitutes, play,

that we end up losing even when we win.

How to Use Captions on YouTube ft. Jessica Kellgren-Fozard - Duration: 6:41.

Captioning and subtitling your videos

opens it up to a much larger

audience increasing both your

reach and engagement.

When your video is easy to understand,

it's also easy to share.

In this second video I'll be taking you

through exactly how you can

reach that wider audience.

Hi, I'm Jessica Kellgren-Fozard

and I'm a deaf YouTuber. On my channel

I make fun and chatty and

educational videos all about

deaf awareness, disabilities,

gayness, travel, fashion.

It's a whole load of things.

I also have cute dogs

who like to steal the show.

I went deaf in my teens, so I know

just how important captions are.

But, it isn't only deaf and hard

of hearing people who benefit

from captions.

As I explained in the previous

video, a huge amount of the

YouTube audience uses captions from

those in noisy environments,

sound sensitive environments,

people who've got processing disorders,

people who are learning English as

a second language, and of course

it's useful to you as a creator.

YouTube's own automatic

captioning has increased

dramatically since it was first

rolled out.

They're currently also available in English language livestreams

for channels that have over 10,000 subscribers.

The technology has now come so

far, that it's apparently just short of the human

transcription error rate.

If automatic captions are

available in your video, you can

review and edit them at anytime to make

them more accurate.

Just go to your Video Manager

and click on Edit, Subtitles/CC

next to the video that you want to edit.

And then click on the automatic

captions track.

Every time you

submit a correction or

suggestion to the track that YouTube has

created for you,

you're actually helping the

machine to learn.

If you find it faster though

making captions all by yourself, or you

know that you use a lot of technical words

the machines have great trouble

picking up on,

There are other options.

Here are the three ways you can

create your own captions tracks

Start from your Video Manager.

In the drop down menu next

the video you'd like to add a

captions track to, click

Subtitles/CC.

Select your language,

and you will have one of three options.

The first is "Upload a file".

This is for when you've already created a closed

captions file off site.

There are a variety of websites where you can do this

and there are some companies

that you can pay,

and they'll caption a video for you.

This type of file would contain

both the text and the time codes

for exactly when each line of

text should be displayed.

Some files also include position

and style information which is

particularly important for deaf or hard of

hearing viewers. The next is

"Transcribe and auto-sync".

This is a really great option

for videos that already have a script

or a voice over. Simply copy and

paste your script into the box.

Then just click "Set timings" and you're done.

This will take a few minutes as

YouTube's voice recognition

software automatically connects

the written word to the spoken.

Once they're ready your

new closed captions will be

automatically published.

You can then go in and edit them

if the time is a little off.

This option is a great time saver.

And finally "Create new subtitles or CC".

OK, this option is a little more

labor intensive, but it's a

really good option for free

flowing formats like vlogs and so on.

YouTube will give you automated timing blocks

where it recognizes that there is speech,

but you can turn this option off

if you don't like it.

Type your content into each box and if you

need to change when it starts

and ends, you can do so by

dragging the borders.

A great thing about this option

is that if you don't have time to finish

the whole video, you can save it

as a draft, and come back, finish

and publish later.

No matter which option you choose, please do remember to

include not just the spoken word,

but also audio sound cues such as:

Anything to help your deaf

or hard of hearing viewers, or just

those who've got the sound off.

If you only make videos as a

hobby, or you release them daily,

captioning them or can seem like quite a task.

You might also not be able to pay for

a service to do them for you and

that is where YouTube's amazing

feature community captions comes in handy.

Community contributions allow one or more of your viewers

to create not only a captions file,

but also transcriptions into

different languages for your

video. These are then submitted to

you to be checked, or your community

can review them for you.

That's actually the way I caption

most of my videos.

Before your community can submit closed caption files,

of subtitles, or even translated

titles and descriptions,

you need to turn the option on,

either for one video or for all of them.

To turn community contributions on with just one click,

go to your Creator Studio.

Select "Translations and Transcriptions"

in the side bar. Click that settings

wheel and then "Turn on for all videos".

There's also the ability to turn them on

just specific videos.

Go to your Video Manager.

Next to "Edit", click the drop down menu

next to your video and select "Info & Settings".

Under the video

click "Advanced settings" and then scroll down to where

you can select "Allow viewers to contribute translated titles, descriptions, and subtitles/CC".

Click "Save changes" and you're done!

After a viewer has submitted their translation or transcriptions,

YouTube will moderate it for spam or

inappropriate content. You can manage it

by reviewing, editing, publishing, flagging

or just rejecting it.

You can also allow your Community just to

review the content for you

and it will automatically be

published once enough people

have said it's ok.

Currently, people watch videos with automatic captions

more than 15 million times a day

and the number of videos with

them on YouTube is an

astonishing 1 billion.

Don't let your channel get left

behind.

Make sure these videos are

captioned and you're reaching

the widest audience possible.

I hope these two videos have showed you just how

important captions are.

They're an invaluable tool for audience expansion,

viewer engagement, content retention,

improved video discovery and of course improved SEO.

If you'd like to know more about captioning YouTube videos,

I have a dedicated playlist on my channel.

If you'd like to learn about other areas

of making YouTube videos,

then stay on the YouTube Creator's channel

to find out more.

What is bertsolaritza? :: performance 05 :: Maialen Lujanbio - Duration: 6:15.

Liverpool's Clyne conundrum - and what Klopp can do now in defence - Duration: 5:10.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been too long in the game to need reminding injuries are the only guarantee of any arduous season

And just when it appeared the Reds had come through an intense period relatively unscathed, so emerge more concerns

Gini Wijnaldum is a major doubt for Saturday's Premier League visit of Crystal Palace with a knee problem

But it's the absence of Trent Alexander-Arnold that will be the greater worry, his knee injury leaving Klopp with an issue on the right side of defence with Joe Gomez also injured and Nathaniel Clyne on loan at Bournemouth

So, what could the Reds boss do? Recall Clyne  Basically, this won't be happening

Eyebrows were raised earlier this month when Klopp, having been requested by the player himself, allowed Clyne to join Bournemouth on loan until the the end of the season

Clyne had been massively out of the picture this season until his surprise return when impressing against Manchester United last month

He made subsequent substitute appearances, but Klopp believed he had enough cover to not stand in Clyne's way in pursuit of regular football

Clyne cannot be recalled. Make a signing Video Loading Video Unavailable Click to play Tap to play The video will start in 8Cancel Play now  This also is pretty much a non-starter

After such a busy schedule, Liverpool's FA Cup third round defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers means they have a relatively light schedule over the coming weeks

Even if, in the most likely worst-case scenario, Alexander-Arnold is absent for four weeks, he'd still only miss four games - Palace at home on Saturday, the visit of Leicester City 11 days later, the trip to West Ham United the following Monday and the Anfield clash against Bournemouth on February 9

Gomez is likely to be back in early February, while centre-back Joel Matip has returned and Dejan Lovren will soon follow

Options will be available.  Klopp has previously said it would take something 'crazy' to make a signing this January, and the present circumstances are not that

Switch Fabinho  From initially causing concern with his early missteps to blossoming into an integral first-team member, Fabinho has been on quite the rollercoaster in his short Liverpool career thus far

A right-back converted to a central midfielder, he has even impressed at centre-back in Liverpool's last two games

It would, therefore, seem a bit of a waste to move him to the position he vacated at club level a number of years ago, but still pops up in for Brazil now again

Turn to the youngsters  Klopp is not averse to giving youth a chance. Indeed, he threw Alexander-Arnold in at the deep end at Old Trafford two years ago and the defender hasn't looked back since

Rafa Camacho made his debut at right-back at Wolves last week, with Ki-Jana Hoever impressing when introduced early on for his bow following the injury to Lovren

Hoever is available for selection this weekend despite his controversial red card for the under-23s in their 1-1 draw at home to Brighton and Hove Albion on Monday night

But, up against Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, it would be unfair to turn to such fledgling talent

It's Milner time  When in doubt, James Milner.  The steadiest hand, the most versatile member in Klopp's squad, he of course spent the entire 2016-17 season at left-back despite being a midfielder by trade

Follow all the latest Liverpool news and transfer updates here  When Alexander-Arnold was absent last month, Milner filled in at right-back in the 4-0 win at Bournemouth and the 2-0 triumph at Wolves

Klopp, then, is almost certain to turn to his tried and tested, especially when the most likely alternative - moving Fabinho - would disrupt the team in other areas

Tampa Bay Woman of the Year - Helping Local Families | MELANIE ❤️ TAMPA BAY - Duration: 5:16.

hi everybody I'm Melanie Atkinson realtor with Smith and Associates here

in beautiful Tampa Bay Florida and today I have a very exciting announcement for

you I am humbled and honored to announce today that I have decided to run for the

Westchase Charitable foundations 2019 Tampa Bay woman of the year let me tell

you a little bit about the spectacular foundation the Westchase charitable

foundation was started back in 2004 and is a non-profit public charity that

relies on fundraising to support families who have either children or

parents battling a serious illness or assisting people in the community and

beyond who are faced with a family tragedy since its inception the West

Chase Charitable foundation has provided over $500,000 in direct financial grants

to families around the Tampa Bay area even though the name references West

chase over 90% of the grant recipients reside outside of the West chase area

this is truly a local Tampa Bay foundation their motto is families

helping families in the all-volunteer Board of the West chase Charitable

Foundation make sure that every dollar possible goes to the families in the

Tampa Bay community that need our support it was a very easy decision for

me to decide to put my time and energy into supporting this organization not

only because it provides direct financial support to families that need

it but also because it is a foundation that from the very beginning has honored

and celebrated what it means to be a community at some point in all of our

lives we need the support of our community whether it is a big struggle

where we need financial support like what the West chase charitable

foundation provides or maybe it's a small struggle like you're running late

for school pick up and you need a neighbor to pick your child up for you

my 14 years living in West chase in Highland Park showed me what the word

community really means and that is what I want to celebrate during my campaign

for Tampa Bay woman of the year I am so happy to be giving back to the community

that means so much to me so to all of you Tampa Bay community loving people

out there I humbly ask for your support the 9th

annual Tampa Bay Woman of the Year event will be held Saturday March 2nd starting

at 6 p.m. the event is held at Scheldt air which is in the jet center across

business and you love supporting local charities this is a great one

the sponsorships run between a thousand and fifteen thousand dollars and if you

message me I'm happy to give you more information about the specifics of those

sponsorships secondly if there are any local restaurants or beverage

distributors that want to set up a station and bring us food in drinks we

would love to have you the more the merrier next if you have a great auction

item that you'd like to donate I'd love to talk to you whether it's a small item

that would be great for the silent auction or a large big-ticket item that

would be good for the live auction please contact me the next way to

support me and the foundation is to just go to the event tickets are now

available on the website and early bird pricing is in effect until February 8th

the tickets for early bird are only $60 it's a fun night out for $60 I promise

once that deadline has passed the tickets will go up to $80 per ticket but

that's still a great value for a great night out

make sure when you're registering for tickets on the website that when you get

to the question that says which candidate are you supporting you write

down my name melanie atkinson and finally I'm selling 50/50 raffle tickets

for $100 apiece all the candidates sell these raffle tickets and we draw the

winner at the event we will have a live feed at the event so you can see if you

won this is a great way to support the foundation
