so just looking at some of my videos and stuff like that so I guess my goal this
year is to make higher quality videos with better sound since I got a new
camera and microphone that's what I'm gonna do
time for some coffee
so I don't really watch the news anymore I just look at it online because it's
faster than all my garbage you have to go through before you and get to the story
nobody asked you
let's see three-year-old hurt after crashing father's motorcycle into a wall
well I have an idea about what I would do with that
okay so the three year old that
got hurt she hopped on her dad's can am and there's a video if you go look toddler
injured after crashing fathers motorcycle it was at this moment he knew
he fucked up the daughter wouldn't have been able to jump on the two wheeler and
take off but what it looks like is he's he's running after it hops on the back
of it grabs on and she's just gone she's like you know and he's dragging behind
it like it's not funny shouldn't of...
I'm thinking that the dad
put her on it to get some pictures or something like that
and
says the father ran after the bike and attempted to gain control of the vehicle
but he filled in the bike crush into the wall the father was thrown from the bike
and there's pictures of him just rolling on the ground afterwards the
girl little girl was taken to the hospital and released the father will
not be charged so it was obviously an accident
so that was in South Florida
motorcycle driver struck multiple times in fatal i-75 manatee crash
this is in
Florida again troopers say that around 6:30 a.m. a male driver of a 2014 victory vegas
didn't victory got a business wait isn't can am and victory related to each some how
so no motorcycle was traveling in the left lane near mile marker two fifty six
braked abruptly for an unknown reason according to a crash report that
caused the motorcycle to turn on its right side low side and continue to
slide north the driver fell off his motorcycle so it's funny I like the news
we'll say somebody fell from their bike but isn't a better word saying they were
ejected especially like if they're hit by another vehicle or something like
that my accident report it there's a spot for ejected
so yeah which was then struck and run over by 27 year old driver car was
probably following too closely the car came to a stop in the left lane but the
motorcycle drivers body lay on the left lane according to the Florida Highway
Patrol the motorcycle driver was struck by three vehicles his body came to a
final resting position and center lane of I75 so started in the left
lane got hit knocked into the center lane by three vehicles like people just
run shit over in the middle of the highway they had to have seen it happen
but nobody in the other lanes slowed down in just in case that is so just
inconsiderate really
these stories remind me of something that most people
forget about during this time of year because you like in southern states and
warmer states you probably have motorcycles all the time riding around
things like that but in some of the northern states where you get snow and
it's cold this time of year motorists don't think that they're going to see
motorcycles out the perception when you're looking at something like that
and I'll I figure out how to show this perception thing I'm talking about
all right okay so when we're talking about perception let's say you're
driving down the road and it looks like something like this okay if you guys see
that just
it's kind of heavy some hoping it doesn't fall over anyway
you're driving this way right that's you there is this is you on a motorcycle this
is a truck this is a truck and there's traffic coming this way there's
guardrail here you know go that way or that way right so what happens when you
look at perception as you're thinking about this from a top-down perspective
right now but let's look at it from this drivers point of view what they're gonna
see is what they're looking for depending on the time of the year
there's more like this right so they're looking down the road and they're
looking for something that's about this big right
you're this big let's say there's a stop sign or sign or something here there's a
tree here you become invisible to this guy right here so what's going to happen
is when these cars that are over here on this side when they come by
that's a that's a bug he's looking for a gap you know traffic right here
so he's looking this way and he's looking over here this way and he's
looking over here this way so what's gonna happen is he's gonna see this gap the
traffic gets here and they get gets about here he's gonna take off and go
your bikes gonna come here and you're gonna get hit he's got a stop sign
right so he's waiting here that's what happens right perception you're looking
for a big target depending on the time of the year rather than the smaller target
which you can't really see it here. so when he looks he sees this that's you right here so he's gonna
completely miss this that's what I'm talking about what I'm talking about
perception the perception is that you're driving down the road and you're
expecting to see the shape of a car your eye is going to ignore any other shapes
because if you're stopped at a stop sign or a row or something like that you're
looking both ways are you looking for a motorcycle or are
you looking for the car or gap in traffic like what are you focused on
when you come to that stop sign you know during that time of year nobody's
expecting to see a motorcycle out in February in Ohio it's snow right but
that's the perception you're looking for a specific shape and you ignore all the
other shapes not that it matters but you know perception is important to these
companies I knew something sounded familiar about victory and can am and you
know that so can-am is owned by BRP so that's a
Canadian company
victory is owned by Polaris and Polaris also owns is owned by well owned by but
has a partnership with Subaru and Polaris also manufactures Indian
motorcycles so Subaru manufactures some of the mechanical parts things like that
for some of the victory and the Indian motorcycles although everything is
assembled the United States Subaru is a Japanese company so Subaru owns or has a
partnership with Polaris and Polaris owns victory and they also own Indian
and they manufacture parts for both
who owns Harley
even though some of their parts and things like that may get manufactured
overseas all these... anything is assemble United States is considered a
US company and employs US workers but I thought that was interesting that
victory and Indian were you know owned by the same company and Polaris also
owns or makes ATVs and snowmobiles and things like that and make the ATV like
quads and things like that like the Ranger and the RZR are you know mostly
like the little powerful golf cart looking off-road vehicles they look like
they're a lot of fun but I thought that was kind of interesting you know
companies were their parts were manufactured if their parts and their
bikes and everything else are made in the United States price is a factor but
not to me as much as the customer service and not having the hassle like
if something goes wrong with my bike who's gonna go the extra mile to make
sure that I'm a happy customer and that they want me to come back I've had that
experience with Harley and that's why you know I'm riding Harley's so if that
experience ever changes though you can bet that I'm gonna go to
someplace else that has really good customer service
