Youtube daily report Jan 23 2019

Honestly, I never listened to JID's music a day in my life until we worked with him.

He played me maybe like, three or four songs before I played him any beats.

I'm like "Oh okay."

"Got some good music."

Playing it for JID was an accident.

I didn't even mean to play him that beat.

I been seeing somebody grandma work out to this, somebody auntie workin' out to this.

I watched a whole fucking Zumba class work out to this shit.

If I can get somebody to move to it, somebody auntie that don't even know this song from

a can of paint, that means I'm doing something right.

Everything comes to me naturally.

I don't think about how I'm going to make this beat, I don't think about how I'm

gonna make this beat.

I don't think about what I'm going to make.

It just happens.

When I made "Off Deez," I was in LA.

I was at Dro Fe's house.

He was over there sampling like some crazy old Mexican song.

Some salsa music or something, I don't know what the hell he was sampling.

I had just came in the room.

I was like, "Yo that shit hard."

The sample for "Off Deez" is Los Pasteles Verdes.

Don't crucify me if I say this wrong.

So basically what I did was I added a half-speed on Gross Beat.

I layered the sample with two different Gross Beats.

One was half-speed and one was slow triplet.

Now that's some sauce for you niggas.

Y'all gotta pay homage when you do that 'cause I know most of you niggas don't

do that.

When the tone changed on the sample, so when it went from sounding like…

To sounding like…

I caught the 808 in my head.

That's the backbone of it.

The bass is always the backbone to me.

If your bass not hitting, that shit wack.

Just to me.

I wanted this shit to ride, so I kept everything fast-paced.

I wanted the tempo to be fast, I wanted the beat to be fast.

I want the hi-hats to be fast.

I like the shit fast.

It's just like a brand new fucking Ferrari.

The beat was already done when the bass was done so the hi-hats, all they had to do was

follow.

I kept them at a two step.

I added some hi-hat rolls, it was fire.

Just some quick, quick rolls.

What I did next was, I had a clap after.

Sound like some California shit, some Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre shit, you heard me?

Go!

Go!

The kicks had to match.

After that I did a hi-hat.

Open hi-hat.

If you haven't noticed by now, I like simple shit.

I like simplicity.

I don't try too much, don't use too much.

I only used, how many sounds is this?

Six sounds, seven including my tag.

For those who don't know.

That tag is Valee.

He said that tag in a song, it's "VTL."

And he said, "ChaseTheMoney ChaseTheMoney."

So now let me play you the beat in full.

The feature situation, I didn't really...I mean that was up to them initially.

I made a couple suggestions.

I said maybe Ski Mask, Kendrick I think was supposed to be on it, and then Cole just ended

up hopping on the beat.

I think the pockets that JID found was perfect for him.

And I feel like Cole, it was perfect for him.

What they did was amazing.

The day I made this beat was special.

And the day I played this beat for JID was special.

It was a special moment in time and history.

I originally said we should put Future on it.

I said we should put Future on the hook, on the remix.

Best believe there's a remix coming, we just don't know with who.

VKAR Racing 61101 SCT X10 V2 uNbOxInG 2019 - Duration: 5:59.

Hello RC friends, I'm Jake billing and today we're looking at this product

right here, now this is a Vkar Racing SCT x10 version 2, it's a short course

ready to run RC truck - now if you guys have followed my channel for a long long

time you'll know that I feature a lot of different short course trucks on my

channel, it's also my favorite class of RC - short course for the win! Thank You

Banggood.com for sending me this product for a boxing review today if you want to

have a look at this there's gonna be a link right below, everything you need is in

here remember so if you're interested have a look at the link it'll take you

to Banggood and if you're interested pick one, up it's pretty cool ok. Let's

get straight into this the box took a bit of a beating during the delivery so

I had to take this apart and I've already taken the truck out to have a

look at it just to make sure it's all okay for you guys but let's put it out

of the box and have another look, so I'll just bring you in on this you've got the truck itself there's

a manual and you get a few Allen hex wrenches as well Allen keys and then

there's a little pocket charger for the battery charges 2 and 3 cell lipos

with the mains plug there's a European plug but you'll get a u.s. plug from the

US and you get a three channel transmitter and I have to say this is

actually really nice transmitted to hold that steering wheel it just feels nice

it's got the food rubber grip on it it just feels good good weight to it fits

in your hand pretty well takes four double A batteries at the bottom it's

got a few trim settings and your on and off switch is there nice blue LED so this is

a hobby grade I'll see you guys a straight off the bat you can see

there's the wrap to pull off the body shell let's just go ahead and do that

now

there we go so straight away you can see thebody just absolutely pops oh my

goodness look at those cool printed tires they are absolutely awesome SCT

x10 version 2 now this is supposed to be waterproof but we'll discuss that in

detail in a minute we have a look under the shell you see it's a really nice

looking truck I mean this is about £200 and it's about $240-50 something

like that it's not too bad to take a quick look under this body and see

what's included as standard look at that it's got a dust shroud as standard I've

just clocked those shocks and the shock towers they're adjustable threaded oil

filled very nice can you see them they're blue anodized colour with the

silver white springs and I'm liking these little bash bars on the side so

let's remove the shower cap I mean it dust shroud and let's have a look

underneath what have we got here it's a 3300 kV brushless motor 4-pole and

you've got a 60 amp ESC let's just stick that back down yeah not sure why that's not

stuck down but as you can see it's just stuck in there as it should be now maybe

you got knocked loose during the shipping there's the Radio 3 channel on

top and there's a power switch just next to that as well the steering servo sits

underneath it's quite nice to see and this is the controversial part okay it's

a waterproof claimed system however the receiver system there isn't in a radio box so

when that gets wet I think it's going to lose communication with the transmitter

and will lose control of the truck so I don't know how it can be waterproof but

perhaps that receiver is waterproof and we'll just have to test it and with the

conditions we have in England it tends to be quite wet and rainy most of the time

so other than that I'm not complaining guys this looks like a cracking first

short course truck if you just get into the hobby I mean this has got a metal

motor mount you know a brushless systems as standard it comes to the battery, let's have

a look at the battery all right here we go there's a two cell lipo that this comes

so you can run up to 3s in this which is 11.1volts but

this is a standard four thousand milliamp hour to 7.4v

25c discharge, these are very basic batteries guys you'll probably want to upgrade

this straightaway to a 3 cell lipo and you

find the truck will respond a lot better for you when you're out there bashing in

the dirt but nonetheless a good starter pack you can plug this into your charger

that it comes with and you'll get off the ground running quite quickly so it uses

Dean's T Plug connector for a power connector for the ESC and also notices some foam

inserts so if you want a bigger battery you can obviously fit them in by taking

the foam inserts out it looks like the driveshaft is sealed

and under that center piece of plastic in the middle there and I like these

little chassis braces again I'm loving the printed side wall text on the

tires and the tread those tires that's quite nice actually they almost look

like intermediate tires that are sort of dry dirt they look alright as a starting

point, you could always upgrade them or change them, look at the bottom now you

can see the arms and there's the hinge pins holding those arms on you can see

where the shocks screw into the arms coming up to the main part the chassis

straps there for the battery feeding through, a cut out for the steering servo

again front arms then you can see the hinge pins and the front bumper there

just noticed as well it's got some metal steering arms here at the front of the

truck and also I notice the truck has sway bars now the shock absorbers here are

adjustable so if you want to change the tension you can just screw this down and

the return rate will change on the truck but at the moment I'll tell you what it

feels really well-rounded of course you've got differentials as well in the

front and the rear so it's a pretty upgraded truck just out the box as I

said before short course trucks are my favorite class of RC so the proof will

be in the testing with this thing let me take you out and I can let you know if

it's any good or not but I can tell you straight away it looks promising I'm

hoping it'll be good so this gives a size comparison this is Senton 3s BLX

and this is the Vkar SCT x10 version 2 you can see they're very very similar

sizes if not the same size the wheels the body the bumpers everything is the

same scale that both 1/10 scale so far I'm hopeful this will be a really good

truck so there we have it guys that was unboxing for the SCT x10 version 2 from

Vkar Racing, now this product was sent to me today from Banggood.com

if you wanna have a look at the product there be a link right below in the

description you can have a look for yourself check it out see what you make

of the truck yourself thanks for watching guys I'll see you next time bye

H-index score for scientists working on Cardano - Duration: 5:24.

welcome everyone so today I want to talk about the h-index and the h-index is an

author level metric that attempts to mention both the productivity and

citation impact of the publications of a scientist or scholar so if you're

familiar with IOHK and you're familiar with the IOHK team you know that they

have a roster of academics and scientists who are very high level and I

compare them to the Golden State Warriors with LeBron and basically you

can figure out the score so every time a scientist publishes a paper for example

let's take Philip Wadler because he seems to have the highest h-index at IOHK

he publishes that paper and if someone else wants to reference his research in

the future they reference his paper and they cite his paper so the number of

citations is basically how well your paper is received in that particular

niche and I would like to I would like to add that certain niches are more are

smaller than other niches so if you have citations in

cryptography they may not be it may be difficult to amass a high quantity of

citations compared to an industry that's maybe more popular let's say like

climate change you know if if you have a paper regarding climate change you may

have a broader base of scientists rather than a small niche field like

cryptography so anyways I went to the IOHK teams website the

iohk.io/team and I looked at the scientist and basically

went to Google Scholar and Google Scholar is a place where you can input

the persons name and it pulls up a profile I have to add that many of the

scientists and academics do not have a Google profile for their H-index but

they do have an H-index score somewhere but the software to find the H-index

it's like an academic software that you have to pay for so I just went to the

Google scholars and pulled up the H- index score for those people and so

there are quite a few people that are missing from this list but I took every

one that I could find and I amalgamated that into a spreadsheet so

once again we are going to go to the spreadsheet and as you can see I already

sorted it so the h-index Philip Wadler has the highest h-index with

twenty four thousand four hundred and thirty seven citations so twenty four

thousand over twenty four thousand papers have cited Philip Wadlers papers

and then you have Aggelos Kiayias almost five thousand papers have cited him and

you have all these different people that have papers out there they have an

h-index they're building up their h-index

and they're there they're building up the number of citations that they have

for other people can use their papers so as you can see there's a range

there's quite a range and it takes a lot of time to build up this tenure you have

to have a lot of space in the game you have to have a lot of time in the game

and I'm going to bring up a stat right here and if we go down here it's going

to say where was it where was it just to give you reference of what is really

good okay right here it says that Hirsch estimated that after 20 years so it

takes 20 years a successful scientist would have an H-index of 20 so imagine

being in your field for 20 years and having a H index of 20 a successful

scientist would have an H index of 20 an outstanding scientist would have an H

index of 40 and a truly unique individual will have an H index of 60 so

obviously you can see that Philip Wadler is a truly unique individual you

have Aggelos Kiayias which is on the borderline of an outstanding scientist I

would say he's an outstanding scientist and you have a lot of people that are

building up their tenure in the game so you have a lot of research fellows that

are working at IOHK that still don't have 20 years I mean 20 years they were

probably babies back then so or children so you have to really build up and as

you can see Phillip Wadler is a little bit older than than some of the other

people that are working at IOHK and he has accomplished something that not

many people accomplished so I took the average h-index and we have

eighteen point one and as you see after 20 years the successful

scientists would have an h-index of 20 so even with people that are research

fellows and don't have enough time in the game we are looking at the average

person at IOHK is a successful scientist this is a successful

scientific company and the average number of citations is 2706 so it's

really it's really interesting and once again I do not have everyone on this

list so like Duncan Coutts wasn't there a lot of the scientists that were on the

IOHK team portal I could not find their Google profile so if someone has

access to that academic software and can maybe bring in some of that information

then I can put it in and I think it would skew the the data up so

let me know what you think and please like comment and subscribe and

until the next video thank you

Stonehenge | Mysterious English Landmark | Wiltshire | England | HD - Duration: 3:21.

Stonehenge, Prehistoric Monument, Famous Landmarks, New uploads every Sunday and Wednesday

Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument in Wiltshire, England. And probably the most famous landmark in the world

Stonehenge was built over many hundreds of years. Work began in the late Neolithic age, around 3000 BC. Over the next thousand years, people made many changes to the monument. The last changes were made in the early Bronze age, around 100 BC.

When Stonehenge was first opened to the public it was possible to walk among and even climb on the stones, but the stones were roped off in 1977 as a result of serious erosion. Visitors are no longer permitted to touch the stones, but are able to walk around the monument from a short distance away.

What was Stonehenge used for? Over the years of research regarding Stonehenge there have been several different theories put forward as to why Stonehenge was built. The three most plausible seem to be: 1. A sacred Burial place. 2. A site for Celestial or Astronomical Alignments. 3. A Place for healing.

The monument remained in private ownership until 1918 when Cecil Chubb, a local man who had purchased Stonehenge from the Atrobus family at an auction three years previously, gave it to the nation. Thereafter, the duty to conserve the monument fell to the state, today a role performed on its behalf by English Heritage.

One of the most famous landmarks in the United Kingdom, Stonehenge is regarded as a British cultural icon. It has been a legally protected Scheduled Ancient Monument since 1882 when legislation to protect historic monuments was first successfully introduced in Britain.
